4-0 out of 5 stars Good addicting "Bejeweled reminscent fun" for 20 bucks!
Gamers that like Tetris, Columns, Bejeweled, Collapse, you will love Ultra Bust A move and there have not been games like this on XBOX, the simple premise will keep you happy for a long time.

Ultra Bust A Move is somewhat like Bejeweled only this time your shooting the jewels from a cannon to line them up and requires targeting to line them up and make them disappear. It's very difficult to describe but the simplicity of it, no matter how you look at it, is very addicting. The strategy of lining up colored jewels and targeting them exactly where you want them to go, it's the perfect game for your mother or young child to play. It's very easy to get into and advanced gamers will appreciate the harder levels as you progress. The online part of it is basic enough, you just go at it one on one with another player and try to beat his score on a split screen, basic, yes, fun, I think so!

The graphics are good for what the game is, very colorful and bright but some of the levels may hurt your eyes after awhile, don't play this in the dark, you might want too see an eye doctor after. Very cheesy music and custom soundtracks would have been wonderful, but we didn't get that option, sigh. Because the music intact is downright awful.

Overall, for 19 bucks, I was happy. It's good fun. Just hope you have sunglasses. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Another arcade translation
I've always been a big fan of board games on video consoles. Monopoly Party was next on the list, and while it was fun the first few times playing it, it does get old fairly quick. The NPCs if you choose to play with them are very predictable and annoying at times. I also found myself getting bored and clicking buttons to quicken the pace at times, primarily because the animations can take a while.

Some members of my household enjoy competing with each other for high scores, but the computer goes no higher than $99,999. Heck, I can get that in well under an hour of playing, and by that time I am too bored to care. I'll probably throw this game on once in a blue moon to kill some time, but that'll be about it for me.

5-0 out of 5 stars Xbox Monopoly Party
My husband and I thoroughly enjoy this game.We rented it on a whim and couldn't stop playing.Needless to say, we ended up buying it in order to stop having to pay the rental fees. It's nice because we finally found a game we can play together and separately. The only DISADVANTAGE was that the standard US rules are not totally true. (ie. When you role doubles to get out of jail the monopoly rules say that you cannot role again; however, the xbox game allows you to.Also, you are not suppose to be able to go directly to a hotel without houses for a least one full turn; however the xbox game allows you to.)This being said there are also many ADVANTAGES in the game such as the range of rules you can have. It's nice to be able to set up the game as you would play it normally in your home and completely by your rules, however you may play.

This is a MUST HAVE!

1-0 out of 5 stars Avoid This Game
I got this game to try to find an xbox game me and the Mrs. can enjoy. (She's doesn't have much patience for joysticks.) This is horrible. I didn't think it were possible, but this is more tedious than the board game. It's like playing the slot machines but without any money on the line. Bah!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Fast and Easy.....Great Crossover
The thing I disliked most about traditional Monopoly was the mess it creates. With Monopoly Party, the mess is gone!No more setup, cleanup, or hassle. It moves very quickly, so you can get in more time playing as opposed to rummaging in the bank.It has several different rule options, so it can be customized to your own preferred style of play.Sure, you can't read the property titles, but if you've played much, you know that it's not necessary to read them. The titles are mere decoration. The trading system can be a bit confusing at first, but once you figure it out, it's really quite simple. Some folks have complained about the computer players doing stupid things that no real player would ever do.The game offers three levels of computer player difficulty.....easy, medium, and hard.Simply play the hard characters. It's also nice to be able to play anytime you want, without having to drum up real live folks to play against you.The computer is always ready and willing!

1-0 out of 5 stars BORING!!!!!
BORING!!!It moves faster than the regular Monopoly game, but it takes away most of your control. After a while, the "just keep pressing the A button" mentality gets really old. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Remake
This game is at least 3 stars if you don't own any of the Tony Hauk games. This game is exactly the same except that you're
on a snowboard and going down hill. I would not rcomend getting this game if you have ever played Tony Hauk and didn't like it.
The game objective is the same as Tony Hauk. It's pretty much a remake.

5-0 out of 5 stars That was fat!
Everything a snowboarder could wish for in the offseason.
If your little brother brings over his friend who still needs to learn about the order of the birds and the bees, and, lets say he customizes his boarders apparel to look a little on the fruity side, then the cameramen will not hisitate to express exactly what is going through your head, so you don't have to go through the effort of saying it yourself.I won't mention exactly what they say, but it starts whith "Qu" and ends with "eer!"
Really hard to advance, but the bragging rights are worth it.Also, there's a video of Australian pro Tora Bright. She's kinda cute.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Snowboarding Game!
I played this on my friends Xbox and at first I was like man he bought a snowboarding game, but in fact this game is awesome. It pretty much has it all and can be very hard and you have to stick certain things or go all out. It can really get irritating on pro and photoshot challenges towards the end of the career but it just makes you that much better or very lucky. Oh yeah in his game, maybe all, there is quite a few glitches, like starting a pro challenge and just falling backwards and falling into a cliff and be stuck.

5-0 out of 5 stars Amped 2
Okay, I have done real snowboarding & played Amped 2 & I can tell you that this IS a realistic simulation, In snowboarding, you really DO gain speed that fast, you really DO get that much air off ramps & you ARE able to pull off a 360 on the flat, the only unrealistic aspects of the game for me were the sparks when you grinded a rail and the way your character slows down. the levels are huge with short loading times, the variety of tricks for an Extreme sport's title is second only to the Tony Hawk Titles. you wont get bored in a hurry, buy this game NOW!

Australia does have snow if anyone think's I'm lying about snowboarding

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty cool
I'm not usually a fan of sports-type games, but Amped 2 was pretty good. I like the fact that you don't have to play as any particular person. You get to pick from several base characters, male/female, black/white, etc. and then choose what types of clothes, goggles, gloves, boards, etc. you want you character to have. The game gives you a freedom to explore massive parts of mountains and just mess around, but you'll have to unlock different mountains in campaign mode. Campaign mode is pretty cool though: for each mountain you have to complete certain tricks, beat certain high scores, take a few photoshoots, etc. which are challenging at times but usually pretty fun. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars BEST GAME IN THE UNIVERESE,OR ANOTHER UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The gameplay is so REAL!!Its 4-D!I don not own it,i rented it for 1 week and its my favorite!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Blinx is great!
Blinx can be very time consuming for us older xBox players (whom didn't grow up with a controller in our hands).I found Blinx to be fun, entertaining and challenging. Even though it is rated for younger children, I think the strategy involved is for older children, teenagers and some of us adults. For anyone wishing to have some fun, have to think a bit, Blinx is for you.

1-0 out of 5 stars i hate it and it was a waste of money
this game is just stupid and a complete waste of money and time the monsters look like big fat babiish jellybeans
i hated every thing about this game DO NOT BUY IT as an overall rating i have to say it is a big fat 0

5-0 out of 5 stars I was blown away by this phenom of a game.
When Blinx first came out, all the reviews didn't really know what to make of it. They said that this is one of the most innovative titles to come out in the past few years, but then they started going on about how hard it is and how it gets repetitive in that you go through each stage, clearing enemies to proceed. Well, what game isn't repetitive? You could just as easily say "all you do in Tetris is line up blocks" or "all you do in Mario 64 is collect stars". And reading about the time controls sounded so confusing. I didn't think I'd be able to handle a 10 minute time limit in each level while controlling time. So just a week ago, I got Blinx and couldn't wait to see how it played after countless "love it or hate it" reviews from numerous people. After watching the cool little intro and breezing through the first 2 worlds that night, I saw -nothing- wrong with this game. And the only people that will have that much trouble with this are those who only play rpgs or sports games, and don't give platformers a try. The time control is nothing to worry about either, it's very simple to understand, and actually, you don't have to use time controls that often.

The main story of Blinx is short and to the point. Which is good because I'm really sick of games spending 15 minutes on intros just to tell you "this is what's going on" in a pointless FMV. Blinx has a quick 3-5 minute intro showing you that he's part of millions of Time Sweepers, time custodians that clean up any problems with time on different planets. But suddenly, something goes wrong on one of them, and a princess is kidnapped. Blinx sees her and gets determined to save her, and the planet. You go through 9 worlds (in each world except the last, there are 3 levels, one shop, and a boss at the end) to get her back. In each level, you collect time crystals to gain time powers and sweep (use your Sweeper/vaccum cleaner) garbage to take out all the enemies in a level to proceed to the next. It's actually very fun and I never got tired of it. Sweeping up different objects deals different damage to enemies. A garbage can or flower pot won't do a whole lot, but a beat up jaloppy, piano or even a 16 ton weight, now there's the real damage. Time crystals are all over the place, and you gain a time power by collecting 3 or 4 of the same type. Getting 3 of one kind and 1 of any other gets you one power, but getting 4 of the same time crystal gets you two of that power. The powers you can use are rewind, fast forward, pause, record and slow motion, and hearts gain you a retry. If you haven't figured it out from other reviews yet, it's kind of obvious when you need to use some of the powers. Like if you see a bridge fall down, use rewind and watch it rebuild itself to cross. And if you can't walk up a river that's pushing you back, rewind it so you can walk up with ease. If there are two switches you need to activate, record yourself jumping on one while you jump on the other and open the door(s). The main ones you'll be using though are pause and slow motion, mostly because these work on anything, even the bosses. Yeah, people go on about how hard the bosses are...I guess they didn't figure out how to use time powers. But the last boss...oh man. That guy took me at least a total of 9 hours to beat. I just beat him this morning at 2:59:49am (yes, I got the exact second) and flipped out. I was proud of myself. He's up there with Pocky & Rocky for SNES's last boss. It's like the developers got mad at something and put all the difficulty into him. Because the rest of the game is pretty easy until that part. And as a side note, I love how the ice levels are actually ice. Not that magical non-slippery ice they have in other games. Here, you pretty much skate on the floor and if you go too fast or hit a wall, you fall over and get back up. It's the small things like that that make me love this game even more.

Graphically, Blinx is stunning for the most part. Remember 10 years ago when you saw screens for Donkey Kong Country and were impressed by the models? That's what I got here. Blinx himself has some of the best graphics I've ever seen. See how he looks on the box? That's exactly how he looks in-game. You can see the fur on him when he's up close, and they got every single detail down perfectly. Every level also has just as much detail, there are no bare areas at all. There's always something going on. And of course, I can't leave out the water. Everyone seems to be impressed with that no matter what they think of the actual game. Try slowing down time and running through a river/canal. Or pausing it to see the trail left behind. The developers did a fantastic job. Unfortunately, some of the enemies don't have as much detail as Blinx does. A lot of them are just one colored shapes that didn't really require much effort to create. But then there are some that are really cool in design. So it's a little mixed bag there. And that last boss man, I won't even start on that thing. There's no slowdown unless you're blasting tons of garbage at enemies without stopping. The only other slowdown is when you make it happen. It appears to run at 30 frames a second, and there's nothing wrong with that.

I really enjoyed the music too, and would love to get a soundtrack. The main theme if fun and enjoyable, and the first level contains the most magical music I've ever heard. The rest of the game has good music, always fitting the mood of the setting. The final boss music really puts you in the mood to take 'em out, it's full of energy and concentration. Sound effects are cartoony, but that's not a bad thing. When blasting garbage and an enemy, you get a zany little effect that sounds like something from Tom & Jerry. Voices however, I'm confused. They're not bad. In fact, Blinx has great delivery and voice acting for not having much of a personality (he's a platformer character. He doesn't need personality). But I could've sworn they spoke Japanese in the beginning. I know for a fact I translated some of the words meaning what the text on the screen meant. But at the end, I didn't understand a single thing. I guess they made up their own language here just like they had in Panzer Dragoon Orta. But there isn't a lot of language going on, just the belts from Blinx most of the time. Though he does say some things in English once in a while. I noticed "Yay!" and "Burned kitty food!" when he got knocked out and into a lava pit. Keep an ear out for what the pigs say when you hit them with garbage whenever they show up in a level. I swear the one you fight most of the time goes "You suck!" when he gets hit. It's pretty intimidating to hear that even if you're winning.

Blinx didn't disappoint me at all. It has tons of replay too. You get a rank when you complete a level, and if you get all A+ or S+ ranks, you get a cool treat. Plus there are cat medals in each level that add to little bonus clips. The first few are pretty lame, but as you get more, they turn out to be great. Going back and figuring out new ways to beat bosses is always fun too. I just can't stress how much I love this game. On my shelf, I put this ABOVE Knights of the Old Republic and Jet Set Radio Future. But right behind Panzer Dragoon Orta. From what I've heard, the demo for the sequel (I'm amazed this thing did well enough to get a sequel) is even better. Blinx 2 will probably be the first Xbox game I get for full price and when it comes out. So get this if you're looking for a little bit of an "old school" feel with superb graphics and quality...and of course fun. And that's all that matters in games, having fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars Why is this great game so underrated...?
This game is an amazing platformer only for the Xbox game console.I have to say that from my experience with it, it is excellent. Many people dislike Blinx, and I'm not really sure why, but I'll tell you some of the many great things about this game.

Plot: 4/5
As far as I've seen, the plot is to help Blinx save time from perishing forever and help rescue a character...

Gameplay: 5/5
Use your time sweeper to suck in trash and hurl them at time monsters.Defeat all the monsters in each stage and get to the goal to complete each stage. At the end you are awarded gold.
There are three stages, one shop and one boss per world.

Graphics: 5/5
The environments in Blinx look so weird and creative, like strange, twisted and dark buildings. This is one of the factors that makes Blinx original. You can even see each individual hair on Blinx's head, which is very realistic.

Features: 5/5
Now, here's where the real fun of the game starts.Depending on whichever "time crystal" you acquire one of the following time events:
Pause:This requires blue time crystals.Pause completely freezes all enemies in the stage for a set amount of time.
Rewind:Pink crystals required.Rewind backtracks to stop a certain event from happening (i.e. A pillar falls on to an important item.Use rewind to set the pillar back up and quickly snag the item), or to stop you from dying.
Fast-forward: Orange crystals needed.Fast-forwardjust speeds things up (including you), and you are temporarily invincible.
Record: Green crystals required.Record duplicates Blinx, so as to do two things at once when needed, or to have an enemy chase after the fake while you attack it from behind.
Slow-mo: Yellow crystals needed.Slow-motion slows down all enemies so you can quickly dispose of them.
Other features of Blinx include finding special "cat medals" and gold to spend at shops for special upgrades and power-ups.

Controls: 5/5
A button to jump, twice to double-jump.Hold "X" to suck in trash, then tap it to shoot trash (keep in mind that you can only hold five trash pieces at a time).Left toggle moves Blinx, while the right one controls the camera.I don't want to go too much into control detail here, so you'll have to find out the rest of the controls on your own.

Overall: 5/5!
This is an unbelievably great game for Xbox, so get it right now and discover its great mysteries! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Rent it first.......
A lot has already been covered in previous reviews.Mybiggest gripe is a lack of head to head play in season mode!If you are playing another person you have to play on the same team unless you are in quick game mode.In season mode you can no longer have you and your friend pick 2 fav teams and play the season out.You now have to select all 30 teams and sim all the other games which seem to arise out of order and you and up doing a sim game on the one you wished to play.

Secondly, the manual for this game is about 4 pages long.If you are not already familiar with previous NHL gameplay, you will be a bit lost.

Rent this game even though it's under $30......

4-0 out of 5 stars Not as bad as people make it out to be
I am not going to hype this game or make negative aggressive remarks about it either. The problem that we have here is there are no good NHL games in the video game market at this time. I own ESPN NHL 2k5 for the PS2 and I thought it was a terrific game and even improved on last year's ESPN Sega title. That was until I got 26 games into a dynasty and the game froze up on me. Not one of those oh damn maybe I should reset the game and play it over. No, the dynasty froze up. I could not even simulate past the game that I was playing to go on with my franshise. The game played like a 20 dollar game when it happened to me again. This time during my playoff run. I received an Xbox for Christmas and purchased NHL 2005 with a gift card. The game was refreshingly fun to play, although I must say that the ESPN 2k5 game was the better game all around, the fact that the NHL 2005 game shows promise not to freeze up gives me hope that I can somewhat enjoy a hockey game for a console. The graphics are very good and the shadows on the ice and the jerseys are much more vivid and refined than last year's EA Sports title. There are times when players seem to do incredibly impossible moves that I believe are graphic glitches. The players still seem like they are running on a frozen mat and the physics of ice skating do not seem very well done. The dynasty mode is deep as usual and fun as ever. The player models are well done and are looking better and better with every year that goes by especially with the player's looking more and more like their real life selves. The main drawback there will be is that the dynastys only last 10 seasons. There really should be more seasons than that when other EA sports games have dynastys that last 30 years for Madden, 120 years for MVP baseball and 25 years for NBA Live. I recommend this game for anyone who is looking for a DECENT hockey title to play until the players come back from the lock out. Like I said earlier, the ESPN game would beat this game in overall gameplay and fun factor if they did not have those software glitches. I rather have paid the extra 20 dollars or so to have a complete game. Overall NHL 2005 receives 3.75 out of 5 stars. There are too many things that keep this game away from getting a full 4 star rating i.e too much hitting, corny commentators etc...

2-0 out of 5 stars Did I mistakenly buy Hitz?
I'm an avid hockey fan, player, and supporter of the EA franchise, having played the games since 93.This year EA took a major step back from having a fun hockey game to having a frustrating one.(I've played 21 games into a season on normal or hard (I forgot) and am 15-4-1-1 so I'm not complaining because I can't win.)

Issues:When you switch players it often doesn't go to the guy you'd expect it to go to (i.e. the closest one to the puckcarrier).Your team AI is dumb as a box of rocks and the computer has way too much time to make moves while being a few inches from your goalie. This and weird shots always being scored makes this game frustrating. The real killer is the hitting. No NHL game ends with close to 100 hits per team.Bodies are always flying and there are no calls. This was a bit out of control. Some team information in season mode is hard to find (like who's hurt, hot or cold).

Positives: The game looks good and the skaters move good.It sounds like a real game and the music is limited, but fun.The 4 for all mode is fun for just messing around. The fighting mode (in terms of when you want to fight) is much better. Now you can try to pick one but the other player has to want to dance as well.

Overall EA took a major step back this year making a simulation game into an arcade game that trys to look like a simulation.

2-0 out of 5 stars Does not learn from last years mistakes
Last years NHL 2004 was a major step backward for the usually good NHL series from EA sports. It included very poor control of player movement, a bad passing system, poor one-timers, difficult face-off system, lack of fully editable players in dynasty modes, bad menu flow, not enough tweakable controls to create your own experience, and worst of all was the over the top hitting/checking.
This years edition only improves on the problems with the menu flow (this years is actually quite good), however it seems the other issues have been neglected, or made even worse.

The most noticable and annoying element to game has to be the ridiculous checking and hitting. There is so much checking in this game that the rest of the gameplay should follow suite of games like NHL Hitz, but instead it mixes Hitz arcade style with simulation gameplay. This creates an extremely frustrating situation for trying to create plays with your teammates, and for getting ahead in the game (unless your playing on the easiest difficulty). There is so much hitting that the announcers are constantly cutting each other off to say "what a crushing hit" or the often "LAID OUT".The worst part about this though is that even though they provide you with 5 slider bars for adjusting checking gameplay, changing them makes little to no impact on the experience, leaving the sliders useless. The funny thing is that this games main feature is OPEN ICE gameplay, but it is negated by the extremely easy checking. Even after you have created open ice, it can be easily closed by a check from behind from a player that realistically could never have caught up to the player with the puck.

If you can stand the over the top checking aspect of the game, then you are still left with some other major problems. The feel of the control is one thing that seems similar to last year.Movement for players is very strange, there are two seperate shooting buttons (which can be confusing), passing can sometimes give strange results. It also seems like there is latency to every action you take, especially wrist shots. While those aspects all feel like they are taking control away from the player, deking and shot aiming are pretty good.

While there are some new cool little throwaway features implemented (like line chemistry), all of the neglected problems listed in the first paragraph of this review makes NHL 2005 no better if not worse than last years dissapointing game in the series. The good news though is that ESPN NHL Hockey and ESPN NHL 2K5 are both great hockey games, and are outstanding in comparison to the last two NHL games from EA. It's absolutely no contest, go save yourself $30 and pickup this years ESPN NHL 2K5 instead of NHL 2005. You will not regret it if you care at all about fun gameplay.

2-0 out of 5 stars major disappointment
just not up to par...limited game modes...awkward game play...no ea sports bio or rewards...ESPN 2K5 is much, much better at under $20 ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars haha awesome! Blue Sky Rangers Forever
All the time that I've spent playing Morrowind over the past few years pales in comparison to those grueling hours playing Utopia back in 1984. . . and with that out of the way, may I say that Intellivision Lives! is the greatest treasure in my video game library today. So many games packed into one cartridge (errr. . . X-BOX CD I mean) that are playable at whim, and in their original form.

One of the big complaints I've heard from gurus is that the controls make playability virtually impossible, but I disagree. My fingers have bled much less than I remember, and games like Astrosmash and B-17 Bomber as fun today as they were originally. Of course, in the world of CGI and high-paced video gaming that takes days to conquer, Nightstalker might take its toll on the average attention span within 15 minutes. Not me, however, as all I really need is this game, a case of beer, and some Smiths blaring on the radio to make my night perfect.

My only complaint is that some of my favorite Intellivision-unique games from the day were created by other companies that do not have software included, such as Sewer Sam, Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, and Microsurgeon. Still, with 60 games (around 20 of them still hold up today in my opinion), how can I rationally complain? Cudos for all the extras for hardcore gamers like me to browse through, including programmer interviews, unreleased games, commercials, and unplayable junk that still brings me back.

Next on my wish list: modern day updates of some of these classics. Imagine B-17 Bomber with modern technology utilized, or a Nightstalker sequel. Crave Games, you have made a grown man very happy.

1-0 out of 5 stars Just Plain Bad
Boy did they really screw this game up...

First of all, you can tell that this is not emulated...
The games all have a different feel, sounds are not quite right etc...
The whole layout is bad, and takes place in an arcade... Funny the intellivision was a HOME system...
And the background music makes me want to pound my head into a wall after a few minutes..
Some games I can't even get to start...

This is almost as bad as the 25 in 1 controller...

Of all the "retro" out there, they really screwed up Intellivision big time..
Intellivision deserves much better than the cr*p they are putting out..

Spend the money at a yard sale and buy the real console because this is horrible..

2-0 out of 5 stars 90% UNPLAYABLE!!
About 90% of this game is unplayable!! largly in part to the fact that the intellivision had a very uniqe controller thus rendering this game mostly unplayable. Buy this game only if you are a die hard collector. they really should have included a packaged controller, so what if the game would have cost more at least you would be able to play it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Bandit......9 O'Clock!!
If reading my header you are confused, look for another video game. For those of you familiar with that exclamation from B-17 Bomber, buy this game right away! You get tons of nostalgia and tons of fun with this disk! Sure the nostalgia may wear off after about 10 minutes, but go beyond that and you will find some truly fun games to revisit and play. I spent many hours in my pre-teen years playing Intellivision, and I still own the original system. I hooked it up about 3 years ago and played some of the games. It was fun, but as you can imagine, hooking up the ancient systems was a real pain in the ass! I was so glad to see Intellivision Lives! for X-Box, I bought it right away. Sure some of the best games are not included like D&D and Tron's Deadly Discs, but there are so many great ones here they won't be missed too badly, and hopefully they will be included in a second volume. B-17 Bomber is still fun to play and I get a kick out of the old "Intellivoice" warning me about Flak and Bandits. Night Stalker is great with it's bass-like background music. I still think "Pinball" is highly addictive, and I am trying desperately to teach my 6 year old son the controls for Utopia so we can play. Sanfu is included and still fun to play. Thunder Castle's theme music is still kind of chilling and though very limited, the game play is engrossing. It's also kind of nifty that there are so many games included that I missed the first go around like Shark! Shark! and the Wrestling game. Sure, there is some trouble converting from the old paddle to the new X-Box controller, but it's not something that should hinder you from picking this game up. For $20 or less if used, you are buying hours of entertainment!

4-0 out of 5 stars They want how much for this game???
My cell phone has better games.Don't spend too much for this one,if you have a free rental coupon you might want to use that to rent this game. They had better games than this back on Commodore PET64. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars I wouldn't waste your money.
This game is a waste of money. It is very boring. You would think that you should be able to play multiple player, but the only way we could see to have a multi-player environment is if you are using xbox live.Still... I wouldn't waste your money.

2-0 out of 5 stars Looking to bring casino action home? Keep Looking.
What's a 30 yr. old man to do with his love of casino games on his Xbox? Look for a casino game of course. This is a genre of game that has frequently struggled in the home console arena. With the insurgence of Poker games popping up in homes, garages, bars, and classrooms around the globe a quality gambling simulation shouldn't be too much to ask.
Bicycle Casino 2005 does not make any attempt to answer the call. Sure it provides over 500 variations of gaming but if the game play sucks who is willing to research the variations. The graphics are Sub-par. The AI is laughable at best.
One can only hope to see "Live Enabled" on a casino game and envision the grandeur this technology presents in a casino environment. Was there a light at the end of the tunnel with Bicycle Casino and Xbox Live or was it an oncoming train . . . CHOO! CHOO!
I've sampled:
Roulette feature - Single player only - No online games available. Not enought time to bet controls are awkward.
Craps - Single player only - No online games available. Confusing betting process
Blackjack - Mildly Fun but the dealer is pulling too many out of his CG arse.
Poker - No excitement. Anti-Climatic. Other Player proved the only excitement.
My online experience included searching for online Hold'em games and finding anywhere from none to 3 available for entry. No online Craps games. No online Roulette games. There is nothing marketable for this game. I gambled on this game and lost BIG TIME. I cross my fingers that Hoyle Casino can transition to the Console gamer.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good for only Xbox Live
If you dont have XBox live dont waste your money on this game. It's fun for about two hours and it gets boring quick. The graphics are not all that great and the sounds is basic also. With that said I have to say the Xbox live feature somewhat saves the game if you live to play texas holdem. I've been playing this game on Xbox live and its rather fun sitting around with other guys shooting crap and playing cards. So if you have Xbox live give it a chance but if not dont waste your time.

1-0 out of 5 stars bicycle casino
This is by far the worst game ever made! I would have been better off spending 30 bucks on a box of hair it would have been far more entertaining.

1-0 out of 5 stars Worst game ever
This is by far the worst game I have ever purchased for my xbox. The fact that xbox even allowed this game to come out with its quality and "bore" factor makes me want to trade my xbox in on another system. There is no action and all the sounds are the same. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Air Force flight simulator that rocks!!!
AIR FORCE DELTA STORM (AFDS) is a flight simulator that is fun for all ages. There is a myriad of different planes to choose from and many missions that are quite challenging as one progresses. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

1-0 out of 5 stars Big Dissapointment
I had always wanted to try Air Force Delta Storm for Xbox.So I bought it and it was bad.

My friend watch me play it for two seconds and said it was the most graphically challenged game they had ever seen for Xbox.It actually did not look a whole lot better that the originally NES!Well maybe I am over doing it a bit.

Not only last, but airplanes are supposed to roll left/right when you want to turn.On this game you steer left/right like you were driving a car!

The only positive thing I have to say about this game is the sound was pretty tight.Using the surround sound and hearing the jets go by was pretty cool.

4-0 out of 5 stars More fun than hand grenade...
An excellent game.It features a huge variety of aircraft to choose from. From the venerable old A-7 thru todays F-22.You get to shoot up all kinds of ground equipment, surface ships and aircraft. If you are flight simulator person, don't bother. This is all about flying around destroying stuff in varying scenarios.

4-0 out of 5 stars Switch Controls to "ACE"
I found that if you go to options and change the control configuration from novice to ace, it will give you the ability to do barrel rolls and fly upside down. Very Fun Game in my opinion!

3-0 out of 5 stars Not a bad arcade style game
It is a fun game to play, but replaying some missions over again is more like an arcade game ... more than anything else.Granted in real life a pilot might have to hit tanks or other ground targets over and over or he might have to fight it out with a roaming CAP group, but the designers could have dressed it up better. It does take a little getting used to ie. to shoot, especially the mini guns, but it can be done. All in all, I rate it a 3.0 to 3.5 game.Get it and play it, but its not worth the megabucks it had been selling for, more of a 19.95 type game. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars OutRun 2 - I am in love again!
I'm one of those people who pumped their child-life's savings in to various OutRun arcade machines. If this was you too, stop reading right now, don't waste time being ashamed for not already owning this game, and go buy it!This game is an excellent follow-up to the best arcade racing game of all time.If you're a realist you won't like the physics-busting crashes and this game is probably not for you.If you just like to play and enjoy, get OutRun 2.With original arcade mode, heart attack mode, missions, time trials, features to unlock and the awesome music there's plenty to do here.I guarantee OutRun 2 will keep your attention long enough to more than pay for itself.

4-0 out of 5 stars Relive a classic game of the past with XBOX graphics.
Need a good no-brainer racer? Look no further.

I love classic games and bringing them back to the mainstrem of technology--- it makes me very happy. Outrun was one of Sega's biggest games in the 80's. How many quarters did people spend to play this game? I don't know, but it makes me sick to think about it. Outrun was certainly way before its time and was one of the greatest driving games ever in its hay day. Outrun 2 keeps the feeling and faith of the original by giving us the same crazy arcade gameplay with the classic music. The gameplay is nutty, you can drift and powerslide on a corner like there is no tomorrow. It's defintely the immortal feeling of the General Lee, these Ferrari's can do it all. The arcade mode takes after the original and the likes of the classic Pole Position. It's a race to get to the checkpoint, nothing more, you and the clock. Although the arcade mode is a bit limited, as you can finish one race in about 10 minutes, and that's it. But the fun is within the mission mode that gives you more variety and the ability to open new prizes. You can knock over cones, race against other drivers, perfect the powerslide and earn new cars and a even a few new modes. Even better you can take this baby on XBOX Live and duke it out with 8 other racers. Don't worry about this game looking nostalgic, it's a very good looking racer and is every bit as good as Burnout 3 and Rallisport Challenge 2 which are considered tops in the graphics department for racers.

4-0 out of 5 stars Sega on the MOVE ! Believe it or not this is a GREAT game !
My friends and I had been playing Burnout 3 a lot recently before I decided to get OUTRUN 2. I though I could never find any other game as good as Burnout 3. But guess what! OUTRUN 2 is an awesome game. In this game you do not have to take the other drivers down but instead you will be amazed by the missions you have to accomplish to get to the extra stuff. OUTRUN 2 is visually simply great. I really missed to see how much damage each accident causes to my car or when you crash your car looks like a ball bouncing around. The music could have been much better. God who is going to show these developers what kind of songs they should pick for their games. It is a blast to drift with your powerful Ferrari on the open road. The interface is great as well. All you need to know is how to accelarate and how to brake. And that's it! The rest is a pure fun. It is a kind of game that you have very good chances to get addicted to it. Sega has done a great job to transfer the old version of OUTRUN into the 21st century version for XBOX. I bought this game first used and then after ten minutes I decided to go and return the used one and buy a new one. If you are a fan of racing cars you should not hesitate to get your hands on this hot item.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great alternative to Burnout 3
Pros... great graphics, good sense of speed, larger variety of track environments than you'll find in most race games, Ferrari licence, many types of mini games in the challenge mode to increase longetivity, future downloadable content means potential for more cars and tracks (there is already a new version called Outrun 2 SP out in the arcades in Japan)

Cons... each individual track segment is only about 45 seconds long, music leaves plenty to be desired (unless you loved the original tracks from the original Outrun back in the 80s), unrealistic physics (this is only a bad thing for those who only like sim type racers

Overall, I give it a 9 out of 10. ... Read more

i only had this game for three days and from what a played let me tell you it's good. fast ferraris, mclarens and much more then i want to write. want some fun, get the game and be on the run........

5-0 out of 5 stars Best game EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tis game is 1000000000000000 times better than underground2!
its graphics are oustanding and the cars are so exotic! ive had
xbox for a year and havent found anything like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if your interested in cool cars-2 words...GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Fun at first but boring after a while.
I thought this game was cool at first but after the first week it got extremley boring. Whats up with the cars driving on the wrong side of the road. The graphics are ok and the good thing is the custom soundtracks because the games soundtrack sucks. Instead of buying this one buy underground 2

5-0 out of 5 stars Possibly the best nfs ever!
I can't see how anyone can say anything negative about this game. The graphics are excellent, almost as good as underground, and gameplay is great. Personally I thought that this game had well mixed simulation and arcade driving physics. I mean you can still do a powerslide using the handbrake, but you don't go into annoying oversteer like in nfs porshe. And now to come to the title point of the game. Hot pursuit! This has been vastly improved from the original tilte. In nfs3 you could only race against 1 other racer while in hot pursuit mode, but now you can race against a full grid. Plus you earn points from gettting away from the police. It's a bit easier to get away now, but if you get caught once thats it. And you see a great movie of your driver getting hauled into a police car by about 6 armed cops. This cracked me up the first time I saw it. The cops use an even greater variety of weapons to stop you, including a helicopter that drops bombs onto the road! So you end up driving on a winding course, trying to pass your opponents while escaping from police and dodging other police coming from in front of you, and avoiding flaming bombs dropped from helicopters.(and pushing the cops and opponents into them!)
The only complaints I have to make are that the cars are not realistic in their stats(like a ferrari 360 spider can outrun a Porshe turbo in this game, while in real life it couldn't), and that your opponents never seem to get busted by the police.
If you own a PC or PS2 you should definetly get this. You'll love it if you liked nfs4 and nfs3, or any other arcade racers, or even if you liked the racing part of underground. But if you liked the great physics in nfs5 you may be dissapointed at nfshp2's fast arcade style gameplay.

4-0 out of 5 stars High-quality racing
This game provides a lot of races, half of them involving being chased by the cops as you race.Sure, the cops cheat a little (going from 0-120 mph in a second or two), but it's fun anyway. The controls are pretty good and the steering feels tight.Course design is generally pretty interesting, with lots of different paths as you go through the levels.Graphics aren't the greatest, but they get the job done and they run at a constant 30 frames per second. There are a lot of cars and tracks to unlock with your winnings, and there's a four-player multiplayer mode.Overall, quite a good game and worth picking up (especially since it became a Platinum Hit). ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Call it a 2.5 rounded up
I like Wallace and Grommit.I don't like Wallace and Grommit the game so much. The graphics are decent and the sound is ok overall with some fluctuations. This isn't really an adult game which is surprising because it gets very hard at times...way too hard for kids.Kids don't play this game with an adult, because you will hear alot of cussing. Now for the biggest problem the camera angles....yeahhhh!The camera has a mind of its own sometimes....a big detraction from the gameplay.

4-0 out of 5 stars Violence level very low, typical W&G humor, hard near end
Well, whether you loved Jak and Dexter I or Soul Reaver I for puzzles and exploration, you will like Wallace and Grommit. There is lot of looking around and remembering where you were and puzzles and jumps near the end are difficult. If you beat Jak I, you will find this game is even more demanding in terms of player's dexterity. Level one is cute, next few are underground and not so good looking, while snow and ice level looks refreshing.

Playing this game is sometimes full of unsuccessful attempts, but don't give up, it is worth your time!

Two moves forgotten in manual:
back, forward+jump=big jump
rotate left analogue stick full circle+attack=break dance/capoeira attack

2-0 out of 5 stars Wallace and Gromit in Project Zoo
This game starts out as very fun, but the more you play the harder the levels become, and I mean TOO hard. I played this game with my boyfriend and we are both very good gameplayers in our 20's, and even we were having the worst time beating the levels near the end of the game. There are a lot of tricky parts near the harder levels that I had to play around 7-10 times over again, sometimes more, in order to complete. This game became more frustrating than fun after a while, because you had to move so precisely it became almost impossible to move on to the next part.

Another really frustrating part of the game was that as you moved Gromit through the levels, when you get to a hard part where you need to adjust the camera angle in order to complete the task sucessfully all of a sudden the camera angle moves, and it became really hard to adjust back. This would happen EVERY TIME you needed to do a tricky task.

And another note, the game does look very beautiful in the beginning, inside this tropical green pretty looking place, but the next few levels have very ugly scenery, one is a rusty mine, and the ugly scenery does not improve the enjoyment of the game.

My best advice would be that if you want an accurate review of the game, make sure the reviewer has played through more than 1/2 of the game. The game is VERY decieving through the beginning.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wallace and Gromit battle Feathers again
Any fan of Wallace and Gromit will love this game. The game starts with a long intro to set up any non-fan with the important characters, and introduce the player to the off-kilter storyline Wallace and Gromit are famous for.Feathers McGraw takes over the West-Wallaby Zoo and all it's animals.Your job, as Gromit, is to assist Wallace in freeing the animals and especially Wallace's adopted polar bear (part of an adopt-a-bear program). The game-play is very fun, fluid and fully of silly gadgets.I enjoyed it fully and think most who play it would agree. peace. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game
Hellomy name is Zachary.I am really enjoying The Series of Unfortunate Events video game as it is very fun. It has mini-games within the game itself. You can invent things from pieces and parts that you find in the game.Sometimes you have to deafeat Count Olaf's henchmen with either Klaus or Violet. Also, if there are small holes Sunny can crawl through them. The only flaw I found with the game is that the overall game is too short.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great game based upon the movie!
I very much enjoyed this game and I think it may be my favorite X-BOX game I own!I Kinda agree with the person that said that this game was pretty short, but it does not make it any less better! One funny part about this game is the part where you are Sunny for the first time in the game and have to jump to each pipe and the whole time she is just sitting there laughing her head off!I reccomend this game for people that like games that are fun, educational, and very durable!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great but Short!
Great game to rent! Fun inventions as well as mini games...only problem? I rented it monday morning and after about 4 1/2 hours of game play i had beat it. Rent...don't buy it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not exactly the best game.
This game is ok. The inventing parts are fun, and the challenges are great. The only downside is how short it is. I bought it on wendsday, and beat it thursday. Its either the game, or me. But, all in all, this game, personally, is an 8 out of 10.

5-0 out of 5 stars great not to easy not to hard
This game is very good. It is very fun and the goals are fun too. All the gameplAY IS GREAT and the mini gamez are fun too. It is hard to explain how fun the game is. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A Fun Addictive Game.
Thisis just a pure & simple Casino video game. I found myself playing the Poker gamesTexas Hold Em & 5 card draw mostly. They also have just about every other card game & slot game found in any real Casino from Baccarat to Roulette. They didnt leave anything out.Its not a very big Casino but it does have a ton of different games. If I remember correctly there's about 5 different difficulty settings from novice to pro.And the A.I. is pretty good.I got pretty far in the tournament mode .I rented this game and after about 4 days of leisure play I was up to $42,000. from a starting of $1,000. Im not a pro ,but I guess it does help to watch the Texas no limit on TV all the time.Of course in this game you cant make a face bluff, but you can make huge bets that will cause the game to fold.I just wish that there was a (no limit) Texas hold em in this game. But in tournament mode the anti is alot higher. The other players comments can get a little old after awhile They have a limited amount of things they say.I would just turn the music up & the players voices down, its realy kinda relaxing to play it while your watching TV ,when a commercial comes on I would switch to this game & make a bet, call, check,or fold. All in ALL a fun game thats just a basic Casino video,no frills but alot of addictive fun.And for the cheap price its a good deal.

5-0 out of 5 stars Sweet game!100x better than Bicycle 2005
I just got this game yesterday and I love it!You can create your own character, walk around in a 3D casino, and work on becoming a "High Roller".Basically, the higher your bankroll is, the more stuff you begin to unlock (different casino games, clothing outfits, ect), and the higher priced games you have access to.The tournaments are fun and the AI is good.I admit I am no pro, but I have been getting spanked in a handful of the 7 card stud, 5 card stud, Texas Hold'em, ect poker games.

One thing to take note. The character's personality is associated with what head you choose.Experiment with 20 or so different heads before you go full steam into building your char. You don't want to get stuck with a goofy looking head that ends up being a flaimer... ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Dissapointed
I own CMR03 and find it to be superior to CMR04. I don't think the graphics are better, and the soundtrack in CMR03 is more enjoyable. Save your money and purchase a used CMR03 and have fun. I rate McRae Rally 03 a full five stars, but this version 04 in my opinion is about three stars. The only thing I like about this product is the price.

5-0 out of 5 stars Real Rally Game
The best single player rally game I have played. If you're familiar with the WRC this game is the most realistic rally game out there. The multiplay does suck, but that's because real ralling is not run against other people, its run against the terrain and against the clock. If you like nascar ( driving in circles ) don't buy this game, if you like the WRC then this is the game for you.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game for $20
At first, I was a bit scepticle of this game, being that it was $20. Normally, cheap games that are new suck. But this game is an exception. The graphics, amazing. The damage modeling is the best I have ever seen. When you are flying throungh the rain and you see little things like rain that goes to the top of the windshield, your jaw will drop. The gameplay is also great. If you do not choose the right car setup, your flying all over.Probably the only downfall of this game is that after beating all of the championships, it can get a little boring. The mutliplayer also isnt all that good. But this game still rocks. If you are arally fan, this game is a must buy.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best Rally by far
This game is excellent, I don't know what everybody complains about. This is the best Rally game so far that is out.It has excellent graphics and the realism is great. The course details are amazing as are the car details and the damage is realistic.I'd highly recommend this game for any racer and for the price, it's a steal.5 stars in my book.

3-0 out of 5 stars great graphics, but too slow
The graphics in this game are really good, and being able to play championship mode with two players is great, but the game takes entirely too long to load.$20 is a great purchase price, but save your money and wait for the new version of Rallisport (coming out 5/4/04). ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Refreshing fun with a retro character
While the gameplay may not be the most ground breaking, the fun factor behind this game is great. The cartoonish atmosphere and the characters will make kids and adults alike smile throughout the game. Whether it's Harry's wit, the damsels in distress, the talking animals or the "oooga booga" natives, the humor and the story work well together, as well as keep challenging and fun gameplay through 50 levels.

If you are looking for a technology reveloution, look elsewhere. If you are looking to have mindless entertaining fun, this is your game. You will find yourself smiling throughout.

3-0 out of 5 stars Ok,but has been done.
This is just another Mario, Crash Bandicoot game. It's ok I guess but if you've played these other games, you'll see what I mean. You just go from level to level, aquiring items to alow you do do certain things and make certain moves. It's ten dollars less than most new games, that's good.I was hoping it would have more of the feeling of the old Pit Fall.I loved the old one, and it was simple. Don't get me wrong, I love the new technology, but I think they could have done better. You do get to unlock the origional games on the Xbox version. I haven't done it yet, but that might make it worth something. The character in this game is like a cartoon character, not a real person, it's more geared towards children.
Now the real down side, there are too many glitches. Some stunts you are supposed to be able to perform don't always work.Sometimes you fall into places an it freezes up.
The upside: I do like games where you can rotate the camera all the way around, and this one does it.You don't easily fall off things and die, even if you do fall, you can fall a great distance and not die.You can escape from the jaws of crocodiles. You life meter is pretty long giving you a lot of oportunity, and a reserve canteen makes it easier, both of these can be added to as you go.You don't really have to fight big bosses at the end of levels like in other such games. The graphics are good for the cartoon like game that it is.It's an ok game.Rent it first and see if you like it.Younger players may get a hoot out of it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Pitfall Harry is the man
I got a chance to play through a demo of this game and really enjoyed it. I grew up playing the original Pitfall on the Atari 2600 and even the mediocre Sega Genesis version, but this new developer (Edge of Reality) really "gets" the game. Pitfall does not take itself too seriously, but it really is a seriously good action/platformer game. You'll have fun, and so will your kids. It's a title the whole family can sit down and play. Go ahead, take it for a swing. :-) ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars The true voice
I found that this game was very enjoyable. It was original in the world of star trek. The controlls could have been better but were acceptable. It also could have benifited from a co-op mode, but overall it was a great game.

1-0 out of 5 stars Whoa what a mark on Star Trek gaming
Im not really sure what this drivel is.This has to be the worst concept for a game I have ever seen. There is no way, a fan of Star Trek developed this game.Had to be some goofball who enjoys pitiful flight simulators.Stay away from this title.

1-0 out of 5 stars this game totally sucks
what does this game have to do with Star Trek???the scenario is totally contrived, and even if it weren't the game play is horrible

2-0 out of 5 stars Should have heeded the warnings
I went ahead and bought this game, despite the repeated onine warnings against it.

While I actually enjoyed the ship graphics (the character CG is terrible), I got terribly frustrated. Even with all the cheats, this game is near impossible to complete.I gave it a month, on and off, and finally got rid of it.

Unless you just want the opportunity to blow up original series starships, do yourself a favor and stay far, far away!

3-0 out of 5 stars A good game...
While this game may not be the best Star Trek related game ever created, (...) it is an entertaining game.Certainly, it is a good starting point for X-Box games.
I will say that the battles are mind-bogglingly difficult. So difficult in fact that you will probably take several hours just to get even the smallest victory out of it.(...)Personally, I find this to be the more entertaining aspect of the game, as Captain Sulu screams at you to quit firing.
Overall, while it may not be the best Trek game ever produced, it does have its entertaining moments which make it worth playing. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars WHAT THE F*** ?
Did a blind man design the camera system? You can't see who is attacking you! You're getting your butt handed to you becuase you are encircled by a gang and are helpless to do anything about it? W T F????
This game COULD have been awesome, THANK GOD they got it right with spiderman 2. It's a shame because the graphics are good, but the controls are AWFUL. Avoid this like the plauge, spend the extra bucks and get the second spierman movie game....it's a world apart becuase that game is actaully good while THIS ONE SUCKS

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game
I loved this game.I have played levels over and over again. It is really fun.I don't think it's all that hard.Okay so the big machine in Oscorp and hiding from the Oscorp is a little challeging, but overall it is fairly easy.I recomend this game to people who love to go across the city via web and to anyone who liked the movie.

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice, but....
Visually attractive, the storyline is loyal to the movie plus some adds to it like the scorpion chracter. Cool combo moves and nice backgrounds. Ok, here's the dilemma, when Spiderman is searching for the bad guys, where the hell is the web hanging from? a cloud? a helicopter that follows Spiderman wherever he goes? I know it's just a little detail but it is very notable. Besides that, the game itself is good but it gets from very easy to very hard from one level to the next. Buy it if you liked the movie, rent it if you want to distract yourself a while.

1-0 out of 5 stars NOT WHAT I HAD HOPED FOR
I thought that I was in heaven during the first eight levels of this game.It was fun and challenging, but I got through them with a smile. But pretty soon it seemed the levels were getting impossible.I tried over and over again to beat some of the levels and i finally realized that it wasnt gonna happen. So i gave up.This game is great for anyone really looking for a challenge.I love a challenge... but this game just seemed like an impossibility.Definitely not a game for the younger crowd.

3-0 out of 5 stars Too hard but its an ok game.
Well this game is ok, but there are several cons. You see I got this game and started playing for hours, but it kind of gotboring and hard, so I got tired of it and quit playing. I reccomend you to get this if you like hard challenging games, because this one is. But I dont like challenging games so im planning to sell it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Sweet Juju!!
I love to play action adventure games. I have never come across an adventure game like this! It ROCKS THE HOUSE!! I have an xbox so I couldn't get the first one but heard it was really funny. I was so glad when finally It was for xbox(Who cares if it is the second game). So for Christmas I asked my mom to get it for me. As soon as I got I turned it on to play and IT ROCKED THE HOUSE!! It was so funny!! The levels were awsome and you get to use juju majic to kick bad guy BUTT! (Pardon my french!) You meet funny juju dudes to help you through the game!! Also you earn new juju majic. Examples: Juju thunderbolts, Juju kick (in slow motion I might add), Juju animal morphing (that one rocks!) and many, many more!! So as my conclusion:

Graphics 9/10
Storyline 10/10
Controls 10/10
Overall fun 10/10
Funniness 10/10

So as you can see this game(you guessed it) ROCKS THE HOUSE!! And make sure you buy this game!! Trust me it so totally awesome. Oh, I almost forgot there is this other gameplay called Dinky Games where you can play awesome games like snowboarding, catapult racing, a frog derby, and tons of others. Plus to top it off Dinky Games is Two player!!

Trust me and buy this game!! (I am so sorry but I have to say it one more time!!) TAK 2 ROCKS THE HOUSE!!

Tak 2 Is one of the best games I ever played!!

P.S. LORD OF THE RINGS ROCKS!!

Lord of the rings Freak signing off :) (sup')

3-0 out of 5 stars Only In Dreams
Most gamers overlooked Tak and the Power of Juju, a decent game lost in an overcrowded sea of action platformers starring wisecracking title heroes. This time around, Tak has made his way to the Xbox with sharper visuals and refined gameplay, and he's out to save the Pupanunu people once again.

Playing as Tak, you start off in a dream world in which you're taught the basic controls you'll need to platform jumping, baddie stomping, and puzzle solving. As you progress, the story shifts in and out of the dream world, where Tak must battle his evil nemesis from the first game, Tlaloc, who holds the mysterious Staff of Dreams. One of the strong points of Tak 2 is the combat, which is both deep and fast paced, making for some challenging boss fights.Levels are filled with mini-puzzles that revolve primarily around making clever use of the creatures in the area.Nature is your friend!

The voice acting in Tak 2 is surprisingly good, and it's filled with a good dose of humor for its kids-oriented approach.Visually, Tak 2 also does a nice job with colorful environments and some wacky character designs. If all this kiddie joy isn't enough, you can also play more than 20 mini-games - some of which are actually fun - with a friend. While Tak 2 won't score points for innovation, it delivers enough humor to satisfy your platforming desires.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWSOME
This game is awsome and i am glad that they are starting to make kid games for the X Box.my dad got the x box but mom wont let me buy the games for the x box. This game is so much fun.I cant find number 1 for the x box.i like this game because you go throgh taks dreams and nigtmares.the puzzles are fun and not too easy.i like the cuts in this game, they are great.the game is so much fun you get to meet new people in this one. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars A bit monotonous, but still good gameplay
My six and eight year old kids like playing this game and can spend hours doing so.My six year old doesn't like the fact that the computer tends to beat him consistently in the 'Epic Battles', but as they continue to play the game, they are getting better at the various tasks.I'd recommend this game to families but just know that the 'Epic Battles' can be a bit trying on the patience for older players.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for families to play together!
I played this game at a friends house and decided it was time to buy an XBox! My husband and I have been playing it for six months now.

Anyone that has opposable thumbs can play this game. You only need to use the left thumb pad and two buttons with your right hand. This is a fun game for the controller-challenged, children, and is stimulating enough for more advanced players. Some of our friends visited us and were surprised at the depth of involvment in this "children's" game.

The biggest plus to Shrek is that you can set the time frame that you want to play. So you can play for anywhere from one-half of an hour up to two hours. If your kids are junkies, you can limit them to only playing one game, and you will know that they aren't going to be zoned out for the next six hours.

This game is similar in style to Mario Super Party, but, once again, uses less buttons on the controller. You also have the option of playing the mini games.

An all around A+.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun for the family!
This game is really great! But sometimes the announcer of the game (the magic mirror) gets a little on your nerves. I mean all the characters are from the movie which is good. Now all you have to say is... what are you playing? All of the games are mini games. There are 30 of them. Some of the games are lame. But some are very fun! If you like mini games that are family type, buy this.

5-0 out of 5 stars THE GREATEST GAME EVER IN THE HISTORY OF X BOX!!!
I love this game!!! Me and my friend love it. We are practicing the tournament now. Thelonious, Lord Farquaad, Shrek and Monsuier Hood are always playing the TV people and my friend always is Donkey and I am always Princess Fiona. We always lose, though but we keep practicing. My favorite one is Dragon's breath. I recommend this Super Party to anyone who likes X Box games.
