5-0 out of 5 stars An excellent game
Fifa 2005 for the other systems is great so I figured I would buy it for Gameboy Advance. When I received it I was impressed by the graphics supported by the hand-held system. I was also wondering how great the controlling would be with only 4 buttons. Well, it turned out that it is very easy to control the players in this game. The career mode lets you sign a 5 season contract and is very fun. This game is very entertaining and has a lot of replay value. Any fan of soccer games would enjoy this, better yet any fan of sports games would enjoy this. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars U Stink:(
I bought this game, and it was terrible. I tried to make it work, but it wouldn't let me win. I tried and I tried, and then I decided that this game was stupid and I through it out the window. My parents got mad at me and threw me out the window. I asked them for a normal game but they wouldn't buy me one and threw me out the other window. This game is the worst game I've ever seen. It belongs in the garbage can. I can't believe what kind of unbelievably stupid person would buy this ugly, disgusting game. It was so terrible. Please don't buy it or you'll get thrown out the window. By the way, my name is Joshua and I hate this game. By. You better not buy it.

The game is so cool I got it today.I was looking for WWE Road To WrestleMania X8,Then I saw the game.I like all the teams but my favorite team is The 13 Day.The courts are cool.I really like story mode.I got it from Game Stop for $21.00.There is so many places to go,I want to go to ever court, and plus make my own team. That is all I wanted to say.Peace out dudes, good Bye.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Game Of Great Value
WoW! THERE IS VERY FEW BAD THINGS ABOUT THIS GAME! This game kinda reminds me of nba street! The only differences are the fact that you can not create players there are not as many characters and modes but then again NBA Street is for gamecube so this game is realy graet for a Gameboyadvance. Some of the good quialitys about this game is the fact that u have tournaments and u can win prizes when u win. I think this game as farly good graphics but as for game play it takes a little while to get used to the biotton confrontige but once u get used to it its gret. They've even put in trick points, tricks and trick combos and trick-dunk combo points. The game resimbles NBA Street except for a few miner details. One mager flaw is there is no create player, wich i love to do, butI'm willing to give it up for this game is great.Overall this game is an incredible game. You might be able to win carecters but im not sure because i have only beatin two tournaments buy i have played practice and thats how i know its so great. You should defintly buy this game.

P.S. I'll be posting more infomation has i progress ... Read more

This game is fun it can be addicting but only for a week or so you can beat all the games by practicing and it can be challenging you can collect ham-igo cards race jump hurdles do the hundred meter dash have boat races play volleyball and tennis and all kinds of fun stuff. Great for people who love hamtaro the olympics and sports plus you get to play as 7 of your favorite pals Hamtaro (of course) Bijou Boss Oxnard Cappy Penelope and Pashmina. Give it a shot you might like it

5-0 out of 5 stars WHEEEEEEEEEEEE
This game is awesome! I beat it tons of times! It's fun to be all the different characters and play different and fun games! I love it! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars The BEST EVER!!!
I LOVE this game, it is challenging for all ages because you can change the difficulty level. There is always something to find! It is soooo awesome. When I first played it I played until my GBA ran out of battery power!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Different, But Fun!
I got this game as a gift for Christmas, and I couldn't have been more excited. I am a huge fan of the Hamtaro Gameboy games, and this one is no exception! It is very different from the other two, however. Unlike the other games, this is more of an arcade-style game than an RPG, although it still has many aspects of an RPG in the storyline. The main point of this game is to win the Ham Ham Games Tournament by your team having the most gold medals. Once you win the first tournament, you can also collect "hamigo cards" from the other hamsters. Collecting all the cards is actually quite challenging, and adds to the RPG aspect of this game. The graphics are much better, but the areas to explore are not as detailed, nor is there as much to do outside of the main storyline. Unfortunately, for me at least, you still have to play as Hamtaro; you don't get to choose your main character. In this game you don't even get to choose your player's name; everyone calls you Hamtaro no matter what name you gave yourself on your player's card. Also, this game is a bit too repetitive for my tastes, because you don't get to go anywhere new after you win the tournament, or unlock new games. When you play the tournament over again, the teams don't change, or even improve their skills. However, despite these flaws, this is still a fun game. The tournament games are addictive, I'll admit, and there is still enough of a challenging mystery aspect to the game to make it like the others. The new characters and interesting varieties of music (by the way, in this game each place doesn't have its own music, there is a consantly playing "soundtrack" of ever-changing songs that plays no matter where you go)make this game a must-have for any Hamtaro fan! ... 1-0 out of 5 stars What is this all about?
I bought this game thinking that it would be like Defenders. I was horribly wrong. It is very hard to lock onto a target. I don't think that this game is racist, it is just hard.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun Combat Flight Sim
Expanding on their successful F-14 combat simulator, Majesco moves you into the seat of the F/A-18F Super Hornet. If you have played F-14, than you will be at home with this 2nd offering. This is not an arcade style action game, it is a basic combat flight simulator similar in concept to what you would find at a Naval Air Station to train combat pilots. Flying from a carrier in the NAG and land bases near Iraq, you are a tasked with enforcing UN Resolutions to drive Saddam from power. While the storyline is now somewhat dated, and in hindsight historically inaccurate...the game play itself is a good way to fill a few empty minutes. I keep a copy of this, and F-14 in my flight bag to fill occasional downtime.

2-0 out of 5 stars Ok but not good graphics
The game is fun but the graphics are lame compared to the nintendo ds. It is also priced high for its bad graphics

5-0 out of 5 stars OFF DA HOOK !!!
i THOUGHT THAT THIS GAME WAS COOL. YOU PICK YOUR ROSTERS AND YOUR PLAYERS.THE BEST PART IS PLAYING THE GAME, YOU TRY IT. THANKS FOR THE SHOUT OUT TOYSRUS.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not woth the money
Although the Madden games are great for the other consoles, the GameBoy Advance version is terrible.I realize that I can't expect as much from the GameBoy version as I do the other versions, but this was a great disappointment.

First, the graphics are horrible.I've played Zelda and the Mario Bros games, which show the potential that the GameBoy Advance has, but this game falls far short. Its so bad, that I can barely tell what is going on while I play.

Second, the gameplay is extremely choppy. When I am running the ball, it seems as though I skip over sections of the field at times. It is also very difficult to tell where the ball is when all the players get jumbled together making it difficult on defense to tackle the person with the ball.

Overall, I think that the GameBoy Advance screen is to small to support a game like this. The graphics are bad, making it hard to tell what is going on and therefore difficult to play.Spend your money on the classics like Zelda, Metroid, and Mario Bros. Those games seem to work better with this smaller console. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The bestd graphicson GBA
I like this game because have a solid graphics, good entretaiment is a good opcion for a saturdaynight.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun game, but a little hard.
Over all, this was a fun game. But as my title says it was hard. I think that most people will get stuck on leval 2 as I did. (Hint: if you get far enough before time runs out you beat the leval.)With 14 fun levals it's a good game.

1-0 out of 5 stars hard
This game is hard. I couldn't beat the second level. the graphics are good but it takes forever for a person to get the password. I didn't even get the password. If you like challening games, go ahead and try this game. But i say save your money.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great shoot-em-up
I bought this game so that I could fly my favorite ship from the Star Wars trilogy and blast tie fighters.I got what I was looking for. This game offers up some great action, awesome scenery, and spectacular space battles.

The view is third person from behind your vehicle, and the action is fast and furious arcade style.Controls are easy to master. You can move your vehicle in any direction, speed up, slow down, and fire primary and secondary weapons.A small target crosshair in the distance aids in lining up shots.

While most of the game features the Millennium Falcon, there are other vehicles you have to pilot.Luke's landspeeder, an X-Wing fighter, and a speeder bike. The first level starts us off with the Millennium Falcon approaching Tatooine, and you have to shoot down tie fighters that are coming after you.The remainder of the game showcases Luke's landspeeder navigating the streets of Mos Eisely spaceport, the Falcon traversing a desert canyon while shooting down probe droids, the attack on the Death Star, the asteroid field, a strange level where the Falcon chases Boba Fett's ship though Bespin's cityscape, the escape from the super Star Destroyer, the chaotic battle over Endor, a speeder bike chase, and the assault on the second Death Star.

The space battles are intense, with waves of tie fighters coming in, and flybys over Star Destroyers and the rebel fleet. This game is a great 3D shoot-em-up.Some of the other levels are obstacle courses. The Death Star trench is filled with crossbeams and turrets, making it a pretty challenging obstacle course to maneuver through. The asteroid field is what one might expect.Avoid the asteroids while shooting at the tie fighters. The final level has the Falcon maneuvering through the interior of the second Death Star. The reactor core and its defenses make for a nice end-game boss.

Visually, the game is impressive. The scenery is absolutely fantastic.Especially the spaceport, forest, and space-going vistas above planets.Tie fighters look like little blips when they're far away, but they look great up close when they fly by.There are normal tie fighters, tie bombers, and tie interceptors.Out in space, there's some notable pop-up.I was surprised when the first Star Destroyer just sort of popped onto the screen. When you get closer, the Star Destroyers look fabulous. The scenery in the spaceport and forest is great, sporting some nice detail. The Falcon looks good, as does the X-Wing.

This game performs just as well in the sound department. All of the familiar themes from the movies are present, and the game does an admirable job with them. The effects are awesome.Tie fighter laser blasts sound exactly like they're supposed to.So does everything else, from the Death Star's turrets to the Falcon's engines as it speeds up.A Chewbacca roar accompanies the selecting of an option.Han Solo says "You're all clear, kid!" when you approach the exhaust port, and Lando Calrissian says "Here goes nothing" as you enter the interior of the second Death Star.A nice touch.

This game is pretty hard. It's not a game you can zip through on your first try.It takes some getting used to, and it takes practice. You're given a limited number of lives, and a few continues.Four-character passwords are given out at the end of each episode. The first level is pretty easy; then the challenges begin.Be prepared to crash into walls many times before mastering the obstacle courses.

There are few details I really like about this game.In some of the levels, you don't crash if you fly into the floor (like, while flying over the surface of the Death Star).Instead, the game just places a limit on how low you can go.You also don't have to worry about crashing into a canyon wall or a side wall of a trench. In some of the levels, your vehicle only takes damage from hitting obstacles (as opposed to an instant death).I like this as well.Of course, a head-on crash with something usually results in an instant death; but not always.I was ramming head-on into trees during the speeder bike chase, and I was only taking damage.Speaking of which, this is the best speeder bike level I've seen in a game.It looks great, plays great, and is a lot of fun.

Completing the game gives a password that unlocks a bonus game. It's an old-fashioned, side-scrolling shoot-em-up where you fly the Falcon and shoot down tie fighters.Pretty cool.

I have just a few complaints with this game. The Star Destroyer pop-up leaves something to be desired.Would've been nicer if you could see it approaching in the distance. The Falcon's dogfight with the tie fighters after the escape from the Death Star is conspicuously absent. And there are some cheap shots near the end as prevalent tie bombers fly into view from behind. If you're in the wrong place at the wrong time, you'll crash into one of them.

All said and done, I had a great time with Flight Of The Falcon. It's a fun shoot-em-up with great graphics, beautiful scenery, awesome sound effects, and some engaging game-play.The faults here are few, and the strengths are many.My verdict:thumbs way up.

1-0 out of 5 stars Ugh....
This game is truly awful. Save your money and buy a good game like Golden sun. ... Read more

this game is awsome. You can play as 5 of your favorite disney characters. With Three awsome modes

This also has 14 great! power-ups to help you out, and there you have it tune in for the next inside disney with almore cato.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very Good GBA Football game
Even as an adult, I like this little game. With Madden 2004, the players are too small (as there are 11 on each side). This game only has 5 players on each side. You can see the holes to run through better. Also, you can actually have a running game with this game.Plus, for the kids or if you just want to add fun, you can add the magic and mines options to spice up the game.I much prefer it over Madden 2004.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Great Game
Even though I didn't like the disney characther for this game, it was still a great game.Any children would have a blast with this great football game made by Konami.

Amazon.com Review

Dodge ball, the schoolyard sport in which kids bean each other withrubber balls thrown at welt-raising velocity, really is the sport of bullies.Thankfully, Super Dodge Ball Advance presents an experience in which thewelts aren't included, while lots of fun and laughs are.

The game features two teams of squat, cartoonish, big-headed kids. Some are onthe playing field and some reside in the back zone ready to scoot up a lob andnail an opponent in the back or from the side. The animations, particularly whena kid gets squashed, are amusing, and, after all, are also the point of thegame. Amass points and win the match, then move on to the next horde ofbig-headed kids.

There are several kinds of throws you can make to surprise your opponents, including a cool corkscrew throw and a straight-up overhanded bean ball. As youknock teams out (no pun intended), you advance toward the world competition(shades of South Park here), where you represent your favorite nation. You can also link up with an opponent for a little head-to-head action, which isthe best way to dish out some virtual pain onto local bullies who lack your madvideo gaming skills. --Andrew S. Bub

Pros:

  • It's virtual dodge ball! What's not to like?
  • It's one of the first sports games for the GBA
  • The graphics are perfect and the action is fast
Cons:
  • The sound is a little grating

Super Dodge Ball Advanced is a great game.In my opinion, its got lots of replay value.Sure, you can beat it in a half hour or less, but its a sports game, so you can keep playing. The graphics are average, but how good graphics do you need to play a dodge ball game anyway. The music is alright, but a little repetitive. The game can be either really hard or really easy and anything in between with the five difficulty settings and other settings too such as, how tough it is to throw a super throw. You can link up, but I never have so I couldn't tell you how fun that is.To sum it up here is a list of pros and cons.
PROS-
1. Good replay value
2. Multiple diffuclty settings
3. Average graphics
4. Appropriate for all ages, but then again, what isn't
5. Its dodgeball
6. Game Link compatible
7. You can name characters and teams even not your own
CONS-
1. Repetative music
2. Unlike the NES game, there isn't a bean ball mode(mode that pits you individually against your teammates on a field)
3. Also unlike the classic, there aren't any River City Ransom Graphics, instead people don't even have noses. If you never played River City Ransom, the old dodgeball game or World Cup just forget that con
4. There is no team creator, which really, really sucks. That also ruins the whole point of versus mode too because you both have the same premade teams with just possible name differences.
5. Too short of a game, needs more teams or something.

3-0 out of 5 stars Fun but shallow
This game is a blast but I must say its extremly shawdow.Fans of the old dodge ball game from an older nintendo system will probly love this game, I did but then I unlocked everything in a hour or so, sure there is more matches to play but its just a bunch of the same, I wore this game out in a day or two which is a shame because its a great game...just not enough substance.Get it if you pay $$$ or less definatly, think about it strongly otherwise.

3-0 out of 5 stars Fun at first, gets old
This Game has a lot of the same characteristics of the original for the Super NES, which will make older gamers happy. But the game play doesn't change enough for my taste.Even the indroduction of new, more powerful teams didn't peak my excitement. In my view, it's worth renting, but because a good gamer could beat it in a half hour, it's not worth buying.

5-0 out of 5 stars Dont You Remember This?
Wow a handheld version of the 80's nintendo sports game Super Dodge Ball i picked this game up and had a lot of fun very similar to the original NES platform version. As far as this being set in the near future this concept isnt anything new it was a sleeper game on NES and one of my favorites. Pick this game up for a good game for any age and if your not a sports fan, well why not get this one i mean hey who didnt have fun playing dodgeball at school? *cough*billgates*cough* ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Deja Vu
After being burned by Bicycle Casino on Xbox, I was surprised when I saw that a new casino game had been released for the Game Boy Advance. After the slightly disappointing GBA version of Caesar's Palace, I was hoping Golden Nugget Casino would fill the void of a good portable gambling game.I guess I should have been skeptical when I saw Majesco's name on the box. They were the ones that distributed Caesar's Palace.Imagine my surprise when I popped the cartridge in and saw a menu screen that was eerily reminiscent of Caesar's.I decided to give craps a try first. My name came up on the screen with little stars surrounding it.The table looked very familiar.Wait a minute... this IS Caesar's Palace... just with a new name on the table.

Yes folks, if you already own Caesar's Palace for the GBA, don't bother wasting your money on this. It's the exact same game, minus a slot machine (I believe Caesar's had 3, GN only as 2 and they both are not very good). If you don't own Caesar's, it's not a bad gambling game by any means, but the controls and presentation are rather cumbersome. For instance, in craps, you must select your bet from the awkward chip menu, then move the cursor around to place your bet, then move the cursor all the way back to the bottom to select "Done" before the dice roll.Couldn't they have used a shoulder button to do an "instant roll" or something?Video Poker is presented well in terms of machine variety, but everytime you win, the screen scrolls down to display the paytable, then slowly scrolls back up to show you how many credits you have, the scrolls back to the "ready" position for the next hand. This takes a good 5-10 seconds after every win.A little bothersome to say the least. And finally, there is NO battery backup. If you want to save your progress, you write down a long password.

While it may sound like I gave an overwhelmingly negative review, Golden Nugget Casino is NOT that bad of a game.At the low price it's being offered at, it's a good pickup for long trips.Just be warned though- this is not exactly a new game! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A Game for Baseball Fans
Personally i'm not a huge baseball fan.Ocassionally I watch a game but not too often. This game is great if you are a fan of baseball but i didn't like it that much.I am stinky at hitting home runs and I can not hit the ball often. You ahve to know some of the things in baseball and i really don't get the point of this game anyway it gets kind of annoying sometimes like when you confuse your players with the ones on the other team. Also some of the games are hard and I usually strike out.I like this game but i wouldn't really recommend it if you are not a baseball fan.If you buy it and you have no idea what baseball is all about just remember I warned you!

5-0 out of 5 stars Terrific Game all-around
I first started playing this game in computer class and fell in love with it right away. What i like about it is that you can pick real MLB players, fake people, or create your own. You can also chose from real teams or fake teams. The levels and practice are really cool, for whatever may be your speed. Hope this review helped you, I have played this like over 100+ times

Thanks!

1-0 out of 5 stars piece of crap
what a piece of crap. i just bought this game. played it for 2 mins. realized there is NO PITCHING. YOU HIT OFF A @!#$##$#$ TEE BALL STAND. THIS GAME BLOWS. IMMEDIATELY SOLD IT BACK TO AMAZON. bought all star baseball 2004 instead.. no challenge at all to this game. jacked homeruns like i was stealing jewelry from old ladies. TOO EASY. NO FUN.

4-0 out of 5 stars Backyard Baseball
Backyardbaseball is de bomb! i think it's really cool that u can link and play and stuff like that. the only thing that's not the perfect thing about the game is the created players, because you can't make them that good. but the good thing is that they gain experience points if you choose them in a season. i link with my brother all the time.

2-0 out of 5 stars Too Easy
This game is fun but too easy. You can easily go through an entire season without a loss. ... Read more

Link up and play ball! High Heat Major League Baseball 2003 builds on last year's edition with a two-player link mode and a new home run derby--in addition to updating teams with 2002 rosters. The developers have filled out the gameplay with base stealing, hit batters, and a new stat-tracking feature in the game's season mode. For those who just want to swing the ash, the game offers an auto-fielding option that allows you to play easy defense in the outfield. 3DO is donating a portion of the proceeds from each game sold to cover-star Curt Schilling's charity for ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Very poor game.
I'm an older gamer that bought the GBA to use while traveling. I first bought the High Heat game for the GBA because I own the PC version but I was very unhappy to see how poorly the game played on the GBA. I then took it back and traded it for the baseball advance game, which is 100 times better.
DO NOT BUY - trust me!

3-0 out of 5 stars Jacob's Review
This game is exciting. It got too easy once (I was 156-6 with the Giants.Bonds hit 90 home-runs) but I am experimenting with other teams(e.g. Red Sox). I would rent or borrow this game.It does get addicting.
P.S. Randy Johnson and Curt Shilling aren't that great.

1-0 out of 5 stars For GBA, Baseball Advance beats both High Heat and All Star
Don"t believe the hype. This is just like High Heat 2003 for the GBA; one field, 30 background images. Baseball Advance has the 4 best fields (Fenway and Wrigley for classic, Safeco and Pac Bell for new) so you can hit off the green monster etc. High Heat is the king of PC baseball, but for the portable (wonder why the Pocket PC"s don"t have a version), it"s GBA Baseball Advance. You"ll even enjoy playing the whole season, makes the trip to the gym more fun, on the bike and stair stepper anyway :-)

3-0 out of 5 stars okay, but not quite the caliber of the computer and console
I have all 3 baseball games for the gameboy advance, and was hoping for more from All Star Baseball.Like High Heat, there is only 1 true stadium; all the others are just background pictures. That's one of the cool things about Baseball Advance, even though there are only 4 stadiums, they're the best ones.2 classic (Fenway, Wrigley) and 2 new (Safeco and Pac Bell).Even with last year rosters, baseball advance has the best gameplay.High Heat 2003 for the computer is the best bar none, but for the gameboy advance not quite.

4-0 out of 5 stars High Heat Baseball 2003 is okay
I think this is a good game compared to Baseball Advance. I play this game so much. The only thing is they don't record saves(as baseball) There is season Exhibition Or Playoffs. This game is really enjoyable. It was my first baseball game and Curt Schilling(2001 World Serries MVP) is the spoke's person for every High Heat sold a portion of it will go to charity. ... Amazon.com Review

Finally, the Rock has come to the Game Boy Advance. And he's not alone,as he's joined by 23 other WWF superstars in WWF: Road to Wrestlemania.Wrestlers like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Edge, Chris Jericho, Triple H, andWilliam Regal are here to participate in a nice variety of matches in severalsettings. Basic match types include singles, tag team, triple threat, handicap, and cage matches. WWF novelty bouts such as King of the Ring, Royal Rumble, andironman matches are also included.

Users can select from a variety of rules, including time limits, count outs, pinning victories, submission victories, and hard-core rules. The action takesplace in six arenas that mimic the various WWF television shows and pay-per-viewevents. Best of all, the game supports a link cable, allowing up to four playersto participate in the mayhem.

The gameplay is surprisingly deep. The simple controls allow for more than 40moves, including signature finishers. When each wrestler enters the ring histheme music plays to a slick video montage, much like it does on the WWFTitanTron. Unfortunately, the music that plays during the action will get onyour nerves. The character models are good, but the animation is a little off, making the wrestlers move in a jerky fashion. Also detracting from the game'sflow are moments when the opponent's artificial intelligence seems to blank out, making him stand around for a few seconds. That said, these flaws are relativelyminor compared to the depth and variety that's packed into this cartridge. Youcan finally enjoy the larger-than-life superstars of the WWF in the palm of yourhand. --Raymond M. Padilla

Pros:

  • Cool ring entrances, especially Regal's
  • Lots of moves
  • Nice variety of matches, rules, and rings
Cons:
  • Sluggish AI
  • Jilted animations
  • Grating music

3-0 out of 5 stars it was good
It had ok graphics andis good because ot is for gameboy.

4-0 out of 5 stars This game could be better
This game is really hard to figure out. I cant even do a finishing move and a submission move. This game could really be better if Shawn Michaels was on it.

4-0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY THIS!!!
This game sucks compared to Road to Wrestlemania X8, which in turn, is still not as Fire Pro Wrestling. I found out the hard way by buying this after I bought Road to Wrestlemania X8. Please do not waste your money.

4-0 out of 5 stars really good
Really good game, but with a steep learning curve. I bought mine used from EB games and it didn't come with the instruction booklet. I thought i'd be able to figure out how to do moves. Well...... I did, but i had to go online to find out exactly how to do them. There are many different match types. Single, handicapped, cage, tag, or triple threat. There is also a season,Gauntlet, King of the ring, Ironman, Royal Rumble, and Pay Per view. There is also linkup multiplayer. There are six arenas. Raw, smackdown, king of the ring, summerslam, Royal Rumbale, and Wrestlemania. There are twenty four characters. The sound is probably the worst part. They do have entrances, but they just flash pictures and play bad sound-bits of that person's theme music. The graphics are impressive. But you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between Mat and Jeff Hardy. They look exactly alike. Overall good game once you get the hang of it. You should play it before you buy it.

4-0 out of 5 stars pretty fun but could be better
this game is fun but could be better. because,. there are only 24 superstars and there where more at the time this game was made. and every time they make an entreance there is always the bottom off the raw stage. i wish they had more weapons than just 2sticks,achair and a bell. and they could of let the wrestlers wrestle on the stage too. and the could of put a tlc match also. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Nice
This is an exact rip from a SNES game, just with updated rosters, to me. It was exactly the same in the style of the game, and the way it played. Like the SNES version, It's sound it horrible, the gameplay is nothing special, but they games are quick, fun, and sweet to a point. I would reccomend this game to hockey fans, definitely.

5-0 out of 5 stars This is what I was hoping for when they came out with GBA...
When they said that the GBA had the same kind of engine that the SNES had, I was praying they'd just re-release certain SNES games I loved onto this system, and that's pretty much what they did with NHL 2002.It's really the same thing as NHL '96, one of my favorite games ever, with updated teams and rosters, only with minor tweaks here and there that actually improve the game. For example, on a penalty, the player just goes straight to the box instead of dilly-dallying around forever.Sounds insignificant, but it improves the flow of the game.Plus, the 'expert' difficulty level is actually somewhat hard, unlike past EA NHL games, and its a lot harder to exploit goaltender's weaknesses.(I still remember Tampa Bay's Darren Puppa in the original NHL '96 game... slapshot from the blue line, automatic goal, every time.)

NHL 2002 is an ideal GBA game for long road trips or plane rides. Now if only they'd release Ken Griffey Baseball and Chrono Trigger for GBA...

5-0 out of 5 stars Great in all aspects
This game is one of the best NHL games i've ever played. It has all kinds of features. One of the best things in this game are the graphics. The graphics in this game are about as good as the grahics of the Playstation 2 and the Game Cube. The game also has great player detail, and it has every player from the 2001 NHL season. It also has fights, practice games, trades, and a create a player mode. The fights in this game are really fun, even though they don't have blood like some other games do. In practice games you can do one on two, three on one, five on two, or any other combination of player games. Create a player mode is cool because you can put yourself into the game. You can upgrade a players stats to make him have greater shot power, stick handeling, speed, or a bunch of other things. This game is great. I advise you to buy it as soon as posible.

4-0 out of 5 stars Much better then it looks
When I first bought this game, I just got it because I wanted a hockey game, and didn't expect much. But boy was I wrong, this game is great, it unlike most sports games for GBA where you can bearly see the people, this game you can see the people, and they actully look something like real people. If any of you remember the NHL 95 game for Sega, it is very similar to that game execpt that the rosters are updated. But the one downfall to this game is that rosters are still old. Even when you are in the with trades mode, the rosters are still old, but you can still trade the players. I would strongly recommend this game.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good game
NHL 2002 is good coming from EA Sports it has high expectations. One flaw to it is there is no international teams in it, only NHL teams. The create a player is cool, but the sound track gets really annoying and there is no announcer during game play. Overall it is pretty good ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Wow this is craptacularly awful...
If there's one thing I loathe it's not getting bang for my buck.I have to say I feel completely ripped off having purchased this game.I'm a big fan of NBA Jam and NBA Hangtime and I thought it would be cool to have this on my GameBoy Advance SP.The first time I fired it up I thought "This is awful."I put it away in disgust.I've since tried to play (and like) the game 2 more times but I am in awe at how gawd-awful the graphics and more important the gameplay is.And like another reviewer mentioned I bought this game because of the positive reviews posted here on Amazon.com.Methinks there're people with a wicked sense of humor who enjoy the company of misery or it's one of the marketing folks from the makers of this putrid NBA Jam 2002 "port" or whatever you want to call it.I would'nt even give this crapfest 1 star but I can't post this review unless I select a rating.I give it a " -1 star".You have been warned.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not fair!
Hey, I appreciate the effort of making an NBA game but it's not enough, there has to be more than one basketball game on GBA. I think that they should make NBA Showtime or NBA Street or NBA Live on GBA. These are some of the best basketball games on different systems. On N64, I loved NBA Showtime, I'm sure that there are many other people that want to see this game on GBA. On PS2, NBA Live and NBA Street are the best basketball game on the system. If I had the chance to make video games, I would make all of these game for GBA. If you think that I am right and want more basketball games on GBA, write reviews to tell them this!

1-0 out of 5 stars Junk!!!
Didn't have in stock, yet advertized for it

1-0 out of 5 stars Arrrrggg
This is definently THE WORST BASKETBALL GAME EVER!!!!You can't tell wich playor is wich, the play is SLOPPY,you can make a shot from anywhere not to mention you can get up to 9 points at mid court!

1-0 out of 5 stars DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
i really like basketball i have one for every system exept gameboy and gameboy advance i thought it would be cool but if you are the kind of person who wants a realist game this is not the one for you first of all you only get to use two players on the court the people can make a basket from anywere on the court just about all the time and the people jump to the celling and instead of stealing the ball they trip you or push youover but if you do not want a realist play agaist the rule games this may be the game for you ...
