    Amazon.com Product Description

When longtime Sega mascot Sonic the Hedgehog made his debut on the Dreamcast console in Sonic Adventure, gamers were stunned. Sega had not only used the game to show off the tremendous possibilities of the then-new hardware, but they had reinvigorated the platform-style arcade adventure genre with massive, intricate levels, gleefully distracting minigames, and even a new kind of virtual pet, called a Chao, that could be combined with other pets, traded with friends, and even exchanged over the Internet. Sonic Adventure 2 ups the ante of its predecessor with all-new puzzles and levels, and even faster action reminiscent of the early Genesis-era games. Knuckles and Tails are back, as are the Chao pets (who can now talk!). ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Sonic Adenture 2, great game
This is one of my favorite Dream Cast Games. It has good graphics, but when they talk it's like wacthing a Japenese Godzilla movie being translated into english.

You may be either the Dark or Light with each differnt levels and story line. The characters you get are Shadow, Rouge, Dr. Robotink, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles.

You also unlock SoundTracks you can listen to in the Options menu. I never really pay much attention to this though.

My favorite thing in this game has to be the Kart Racing Feature You unlock in the Tails and Rouge chase level.

This is also for two players too.

You can also get new objectives inthe level you beaten in the extras menu.

Overall this is a cool game you must buy it when you get the chance.

5-0 out of 5 stars This Game is a 100% Definite Buy!
I hope this reveiw will be good to anyone who is thinking about buying this game. This was my first gamecube game I ever got, and i still play it.One of the best things about it is that there is always something to do, whether it is trying to get all "A"s on the stages, still trying to finish up Dark or Hero mode, then there is the whole thing with raising chao. But the game has a good storyline, and you can play from the dark charcters point of veiw ( Dr. Eggman, one of the only times you can play him!, Shadow the Hedgehog, like the oppesite of Sonic, and Rouge the Bat, someone which does the same thing Knuckles does in the game,) or the hero charcters (Sonic, Knuckles and Tails). The soundtrack is good and graphics are also very good. But going through raising chao is a whole nother story. You transport to Chao World, and you hatch an egg, and give animals and Chaos Drives found in the level. The change drasticly and start to be better at certain things, I won't say some of the things that can happen, and make the chao look cool, but a hint is, unless you want a neutral chao, try raising it with only one side of charcters, hero or dark. That is the great thing with Chaos, you can never beat that part of the game.I hope my reveiw was worthwille for Sonic Adventure Battle 2.

5-0 out of 5 stars If I had to live with only one game then its this one!
I must first admit that I am subjective as I have played Sonic games since 1991.Sonic is, without question, the greatest video game series created.Mario who?

I don't have a Nintendo Gamecube, so I don't know how well the "port" of this translated to the GC.I do have a PS2 and Xbox and anxiously await for Sonic Heroes.I also have a GBPAsp and play Sonic Advance (1 and 2) often.

Sonic Adventure 2 (and Sonic Adventure 1) are worth locating a Dreamcast for alone. With Dreamcasts selling now for only $25 at local game stores, you don't have much to invest to get this game playing. (If you don't already have a DC.)

Its not perfect, it does have some quirks such as the camera positioning sometimes during the game. While you do have limited control of the camera in real time, there are times in the game where you may have to make a "blind jump" because of the view angle.A "blind jump" is a jump over an obstable that can't be seen. You simply jump and hope for the best.

Regardless of this quirk, this game is the game I would want to be with if I could only have one game. With vibrant graphics, fast aracady game play, a 3D nostalgia of the excellent 2D scrollers of years past, this game could very well be labeled as "the best game ever for any console".

4-0 out of 5 stars Sonic rocks
I definately reccomend this game! Buy it! Sega of America did it again with Sonic Adventure 2!!
    Buy it!

    5-0 out of 5 stars I Love Sonic 4ever
When I first played this game I was at my friend's house. I really enjoyed playing with the chaos and beating all the different levels in the 2-player mode. Very fun indeed.

The graphics on this game are totally and completely awsome. Whenever I play it I always come back to thinking about the grapics and how much they seem so real. The music is great too, especially the lyrics. They are so capturing that I almost always find myself singing along.

Even though I have only gotten passed the 11th level/Death Chamber, what I have played was great. (I hope eggman doesn't take over the world.) In the levels there has been lots of fun and exictement, with 6 characters to choose from you never actually know what's coming next. There's racing with Shadow and Sonic, Treasure hunting with Knuckles and Rouge, and button mashing shooting stages between Dr. Eggman and Tails

Anyways, pretty much every aspect of the game is wonderful, except for a few things: for one, the lipsyncing is notoriously poor, some lyrics in the music are pretty rude, and it's sorta hard the chao combinations work for you(such as animals and chaos drives), and if you don't do it right they can turn out looking kinda drunk. But hey , no game is perfect so that's just my opinion. If you ever play the game and you want to get , go for it , but I suggest getting the GameCube version since the Dreamcast one is pretty hard to find. I loooooooooove this game!!! Go Sega!!! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Very above average! Good gameplay.
This game is extremely enjoyable if you've played N64. The courses are varied and offer challenge and make the player concentrate. Some courses are very hard and nearly unbeatable if one doesn't memorize them, as I do. In my personal opinion, it is an honor for an amateur to place 4th in the Amateur podracing circuit. It is even more so if they place 7th in the Galactic and Invitational circuits. So, it is pretty fair. All the podracers to choose from are top notch, but the best armor and durability goes to a player named Gasgano. (If you disagree, there are many choices) This is the player I use the most on the more advanced courses. If you are a beginner, go with Anakin Skywalker.
Go buy this game if you like good, technical fare.

4-0 out of 5 stars a good game
the graphic a below advage for dreamcast but the game play fun and different form other raceing games because you have to find the quickiest route .Your pod take on damage and boosting is fun.

    Editorial Review

As the first boat racing game on the Dreamcast, Hydro Thunder takes full advantage of the advanced processing power of this 128-bit machine. You'll steer one of 13 different boats through 14 fast and furious racing environments. As with the arcade version, you'll race against the clock and numerous other boats in a quest to reach the finish line first. The spectacular graphics and detailed race environments make this a most atypical racing game. In fact, there are times when you might find it difficult to concentrate on the racing because there is so much peripheral eye candy. We were most impressed by the New York Disaster, Far East, and Arctic Circle racing areas.

Many of the best elements of Hydro Thunder are likely to be completely bypassed by casual gamers, since there are numerous hidden tracks, boats, and other elements to be uncovered in this game. However, persistent racers will be well-rewarded, since some of the best tracks can only be unlocked after winning several races. --Brett Atwood

    Pros:

    • Detailed race environments
    • Numerous hidden game elements
    Cons:
    • Difficulty level will challenge beginning gamers

5-0 out of 5 stars There are more than 3 tracks
This game has 13 tracks. You start the game with 3 tracks which are easy level, but after you beat those 3, then the others become selectable.

There are also 13 boats which become selectable after beating each track. Although 4 of those 13 boats are very difficult to obtain on one player mode. They are however easy to obtain on two player mode.

1-0 out of 5 stars Awful
I cannot believe how terrible this game is. With it's increidibly long load times and impossible difficulty, this game is something that will just collect dust on your shelf. I guess the graphics are a bit superior to other games, as well as the fact that there is plenty of eye candy make for a good visual feast, but everything else is awful.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game!
I don't know much about gaming, but this is a great game. Graphics, sounds, controls. The courses start out easy, and then gradually get harder. However, I think I like the "Bonus Tracks" better than the Hard ones. The hard ones are hard! It's great for adults and kids. My 6 year old son has a great time and can, sometimes, beat me.
Either way, it's fun for both of us!

4-0 out of 5 stars The best water racing game since Wave Race 64!
This game gets my vote as the best non-SEGA arcade racing game to ever make a home conversion. What do you have? A PERFECT recreation of an awesome arcade game, complete with Soul Calibur quality graphics, sweet controls, crystal clear sound, and awesome arcade gameplay. Of course the best thing about this game is that you won't have to insert any quarters time and again in order to unlock all the awesome hidden vehicles and tracks. It DOES get hard later on, but isn't that what an arcade game is supposed to do?

Perhaps the only real problem with this game is that the interface needed a little more work. If this game let you restart a track from the pause menu instead of backing all the way out to the main menu, it would have been perfect. As it is, it's an awesome, awesome arcade conversion that arcade racing fans should definitely not miss.

3-0 out of 5 stars You can only race three tracks
The first three tracks are fun and there are secret passages in all the tracks to earn more boosters so you can go faster. Some of the boats are hard to steer, but the only problem you will have is you are suppose to clear the first three tracks by third place in order to open the other tracks. It is impossible to place third on two of the tracks even through the secret passages, which are also short cuts.I played this game the first time at an arcade place and I loved it.It was played so many times that all the tracks were available to race in and those other tracks were alot more fun, than the first three. After having owned this game for 5 years, these tracks are getting a little old to race over and over again. ... Bust-A-Move 4 proves that Dreamcast games don't necessarily needflashy graphics to be fun. This puzzle game has been around in one form oranother for years, and still offers enough charm and gameplay to deserve a spoton the shelf of any fan of the genre. This incarnation adds a mixed bag of newfeatures and enough play modes to keep you busy for a few weeks.

Gameplay is simple. The play area contains balls of various colors, and playerscontrol a cannon at the bottom of the screen that shoots one colored ball at atime. The cannon is immobile, but can be aimed left or right, and launched ballsstick to those that are already on the playing field. If three or more balls ofthe same color are touching, they are cleared from the board. These simple rulesoffer more strategic possibilities than you'd think, and the fact that perfectaim is required to place the cannon shots where they're needed adds to thefrantic action that ensues each time a game is started.

Bust-A-Move 4 incorporates a new combo system that makes spectacularboard-clearing shots possible, but also decreases the difficulty of the gamesignificantly because the combos happen far too often. The game is still fun intwo-player mode, but the developers oddly left out the superior four-playerabilities for which this game is famous. Still, with hundreds of puzzles tosolve, arcade-perfect graphics (which isn't saying much), and a decenttwo-player mode, Bust-A-Move 4 serves up plenty of entertainment value.--T. Byrl Baker

5-0 out of 5 stars Lovely and fun puzzle game
With its several variations, and its charming Pokemon-like creatures, this puzzle game will bring hours and hours of entertainment. Think of it as an upside-down Tetris, but with many more ingredients to it: you have to burst bubbles above you by shooting more bubbles of the same color, until you reach three bubbles of the same color side-by-side. If you're good enough, you can rip out entire blocks of bubbles with a few moves. It's already very fun to play solo, but even more fun to bring in friends and do a two-player challenge. I have to say this game and Bomber Man are starting to make me a bit of an addict to puzzle games.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent puzzle game, rivals Tetris
Being a huge puzzle game fan, I remember spending quarter after quarter on this game during my college days. Imagine my surprise when I found this available for the Dreamcast at a price that's a fraction of what I've spent at the arcade! If you're a puzzle game fan, you'll love this. The underlying concept of the game is as simple as the classic Tetris game, with different levels and types of gameplay that allow for varying degrees of challenge. One new feature that's different from the arcade version is the introduction of pulleys in the "puzzle" modes, which operate under a combination of the laws of physics, and color clustering.I found the head-to-head player vs computer gameplay hilarious, being somewhat modeled after the Mortal Combat-type games, which rewards numerous wins with new characters in the game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Bust or Move
This game was alot of fun to play, but you might get too addicted to it. It shows that the most simple games made are the most fun, like tetris, dr. mario, pacman, and this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the Puzzle Gods lives on Dreamcast
Bub and Bob bring their wacky super-Japanese influenced puzzle mania to Dreamcast and there should be nothing stopping you from buying this game right now, inviting someone over and playing for 8 straight days. My only gripes with this game are the lack of multiplayer options such as 4 player (get B.A.M. '99 for n64) and online play. Still...it cannot be beat

4-0 out of 5 stars Bust-A-Move series still going strong
Cutesy and shrill, some players may initially be turned off by what Bust-A-Move 4 has to offer. However, those players will be missing some mind-boggling single player fun, not to mention head-to-head action that heats up really quickly.

Graphically, Bust-A-Move has never been really splashy. Simple character drawings and animations are complemented by mono-color orbs. As the orbs are broken and fall, the characters run, jump, and yell in Japanese accents.

Sometimes this is a bit annoying, however, as some of them are so loud they distract from the game itself. One robot character even lets out a giant laser beam which causes a cascade of loud explosions to ripple across the bottom of the screen. It's kinda annoying when it happens over and over again.

The tutorial mode seems to have been translated from Japanese by three chimps. The English explanations are choppy and odd. But it won't matter much, since the game is fairly easy to pick up and play right off the bat. The variety of modes, difficulty levels, and puzzle combinations will make this a welcome addition to any enthusiast's Dreamcast collection. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great gameplay for puzzle fans
Wetrix is a cool Tetris-like puzzler game with a three dimensional twist - you're stacking shapes in order to form pools, to hold in water!

With so many games out there involving mayhem and slaughter, it's great to find a game that really catches your attention that involves logic and strategy. In one sense, this is a game similar to tetris. Shapes fall from the sky - Ts, lines, hollow squares - and you arrange them as they fall. But you're arranging them onto a 3D grid and they stack to form mountains and valleys. Then, interspersed with those falling shapes, you get falling water to form lakes, or fireballs to dry up your lakes, or other special events.

It does take a little getting used to to think in three dimensions, and I can see where some people might be challenged by this. But it's really not that hard once you get the hang of it, and it is really cool to watch the mountains stack up, forming a landscape of your construction. You need to balance your growth though - if you get too high, an earthquake will happen. This is a reasonable balance - if you built your mountains 80 stories high, how could you possibly view the gameboard any more :) So the trick is to lower sometimes, raise at other times, and keep your lakes intact to hold in the water.

The sounds aren't great on this one, but really, they are not great on most puzzle games. I might even suggest you turn down the volume on this and get your stereo to play some of your favorite music while you play. It's the strategy and mind-challenge you're getting here, not a classical sonata for the ears :)

Highly recommended, this is the time of game that really tunes those little grey cells of the brain!

5-0 out of 5 stars Addictive, Strategic Experience
Recent reviews of this game have not given it the proper credit it deserves. You may first believe this game is dull, but it grows more and more complex as you play. The gameplay takes a few attempts to understand, but eventual mastery of the game takes hours, if not days.I love Tetris, and this game is a lot like Tetris in the fact that the biggest challengeis beating yourself. And with that, the higher you raise the bar, the moreentertaining and challenging the game can be.And I believe the Amazon.comprice for this is now ....How can you go wrong with that?

5-0 out of 5 stars A reason to own a Dreamcast
The game is excellent. Seemingly quite simple, it is chock full of subtlety as well as fun. The graphics are primo, especially in the higher levels, and the audio is superb as well. It is very difficult to pullmyself away from this one.

2-0 out of 5 stars Different, But The Novely Wears Off Quick...
With so much content being put into games these days, it's going to take more than a tetris-like game to give a game player true value. The game is different, and challenging. However, the novelty wears off after a littlewhile and you're left with a so-so game that begins to gather dust.

1-0 out of 5 stars I would have to agree with the 1 star review
I too found this game to be very dull.

Being a huge fan of Tetris, I was pretty interested in picking up this title. With all the good reviews it received I figured it would be a sure hit.Actually, it isn't.

Fromthe poor graphics (very Nintendo-ish), to the irritating robotic voice-over(sound effects do NOT show off Dreamcast abilities), I soon found myselfbored with building walls to hold in water. The weak graphics and soundmight not be too bad if the interface was better (it is a puzzle game afterall), but placing your walls in the position you want as they descend fromthe top of the screen is near impossible. The controls really are thatbad.Try moving one slot over and you will usually end up moving way toofar or moving the wrong way.And trust me, it's not poor hand-eyecoordination on my part.

My suggestion, you better rent this one beforeyou buy or you may be kicking yourself for wasting your $$.I know Iam.

If you don't like it after playing a few times, most likely youaren't going to, and then, of course, it'll be too late. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars saturday morning buzz
I bought this game for my nephew to play, but it turned out to be a little more chalenging than i thought. He had some trouble navigating buzz in the right direction and shoot at tragets at the same time. If you stay too long in one place more robots come back to attack you even after destroying them. Also, the time limit makes it hard for a slow player to finish each level. Throughout the game, graphics or film clips from the saturday morning program are shown. The presentation is almost seamless- almost, since you can tell some clips don't fit a certain game scene exactly.
Don't be confused with the Toy story 2 game. This game has no connection to the the movie with Woody and other toys. As an action game, it is not bad, ( all the worlds are 3D, eventhough the film clips are 2D). Although this game claims to have 7 worlds, it actually goes back to three previous worlds (a harder level the second time I assume).

this game would be good for someone over six who loves the tv series.

2-0 out of 5 stars Unforgiving and mediocre
Looney Tunes Space Race had real potential and after reading many reviews from different sites I bought it. To my suprise I found it to be unforgiving and dull. The tracks need some more variety, the characterss are small in number and there are too many items to use at any point in time. This may not be a bad thing but the items are reharshed and dull. How many things can you drop on someone?

The graphics is the games only high point! The tracks have no barriers so you can FALL OFF ALMOST EVERY ONE. This makes for a steep learning curve and may be a turn-off for some. Back to the items, because there are so many to be used by you and the computer you never really enjoy the racing element. If you win a race its because of pure luck (i.e getting a useful item at the right time) and not due to skill...BIG turn off.

With unforgiving AI opponents, lame items, gameplay based on luck and uninspired tracks you could make this a rental or a borrow from a friend...just don't but!!

    Mario Kart annyone?

3-0 out of 5 stars Another mediocre DC cart game . . .
On paper, this game looks outstanding:a good franchise, the "new" (at the time) cel shading techniqe to make the Looney
Tunes look even more in their element, and the willingness to take the LT cartoon cliches to the extreme, creating a living, breathing cartoon race with you in it.

Unfortunately, it falls a little flat in a number of areas.Control is consistent and acceptable, but the hover-scooters just don't do it for me.The tracks play like an extremely easy version of Wipeout. What was wrong with using karts? It's the control, which honestly might be a little TOO precise and TOO fast for its own good that makes the game seem monotonous. The easy tracks are far too easy and the rollercoaster tracks are all fairly similar in how they are played. For those of you who have played Crash Team Racing, you'll miss the variety, the jumps and mud bogs, the tight courses, the ones on ice, and the speedy ones with lots of obstacles.

Second, there are a TON of power ups, and the computer, as in most kart games, cheats like crazy. The power ups always provide the randomness to the gameplay, but in this particular game, the near contstant beatings you'll take make the game unbearable at times, constantly stopping and starting again. That said, winning is a fairly simple matter.Get a bunch of rocket boosts, sit back in the middle or back of the pack where you're somewhat protected, and in the final stretch, blast past the competition.Works most of the time, and is a perfect example of just how talent and skill are devalued by this game.

All this would be at least a little tolerable if the game held up to its promise of being an immersive Looney Tunes environment.True, the tracks will all look familiar to those of you who have watched enough Bugs Bunny cartoons (especially from the Chuck Jones era) to memorize the lines by heart, and true, the Acme powerups (straight out of a Roadrunner cartoon) are as cool and well done as any you'll see in any kart game, and yes, the characters are well animated, BUT, the game loses it's luster when, halfway through the first race, you've already heard all five of Daffy Duck's catch phrases.Woulda been nice if they would have given the characters, I dunno, maybe another twenty or so things to say AND if they wouldn't talk so much that you'll get tired of them and want to turn the sound down.Of course, their talking is usually in direct response to either using a power-up on someone else, or getting blown up yourself, which, as I mentioned earlier, happens about every ten seconds in some races.

I picked this came up ... used, and that's an acceptable price for it.Unfortunately, the DC will die without the cart game that it should have had. It's obvious a lot of work went into this one, and it's a shame that usability testing didn't make this game everything that it could have been.

5-0 out of 5 stars Looney Toons get a little wacky!
This game is so much fun!You race on different tracks and just race on your Looney Toon car and have fun. You get to pick a player from Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, Porky Pig, Marvin the Martian, Wille E. Coyote, and Elmer Fudd! This game can be up to four players at once racing each other on tons of different tracks! This game has little boxes that have "FAKE" weapons to get your opponent to slow down. For EXAMPLE: Falling Elephants, laser guns, instant storms, bombs, and many other wacky things. This game might have a little bit of mild violence, but your kids will love it!There is no blood and guts or anything.I think everyone who has a segadreamcast should have this game!

5-0 out of 5 stars Haters can have pianos drop on their heads!
To anyone who hates this game, well, they can have an elephant or a piano drop on top of them! This is a great game that I enjoy alot, at first I didn't have much fun playing it, but the more I played, and the more I played with my friends the more I seemed to enjoy it, any fan of party games should get this, the selection of levels don't realy matter considering the fun factor of this game. Each player has a certain attribute to them that only they have, but I still don't know what they are but the sure thing is that Elmer Fudd is the fastest in this game, that was something that wasn't needed in this game, it's like a handicap for the player using him, it's just not fair how fast he can go, but if your up to the challenge of facing someone who picks him then your in for a real rush. You can collect coins to buy new maps and games for single play, each match you win you get a coin, and note that the matches are very, very long, so your gonna need to have alot of spare time on your hands if you want to get all the bonuses. The thing about this game that may get frustrating in time will be the loading progress, it may be the longest loading DC game ever made, because it takes more than 10 seconds at times to go into races. But that's not a reason to make this a bad experience. Great game, very easy to learn controls, and alot of fun, you will never get tired of seeing something fall on someones head! Must have!

    5-0 out of 5 stars A Short-Lived Game
This is a great game; fun, and somewhat challenging. The only bad part is that it's easy. I beat it in 2 days. Of course it was summer so I had much more time to play it, but still, it's a great game that you should buy. ... Read more

    Editorial Review

Ecco the dolphin has always played the part of Sega's more sedatemascot, providing a relaxing contrast to the hyperactive Sonic theHedgehog games. Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future continuesthis tradition on the Dreamcast, putting the title character in charge of savingthe world yet again. An alien force (creatively called The Foe) has abducted allthe humans and most of the dolphins from earth, leaving only a tiny force ofdolphins to restore things to normal. As Ecco, players must travel through anenormous underwater world, interacting with other sea creatures and solvingpuzzles in a quest to stop The Foe once and for all.

The Dreamcast's power is exploited to beautiful new extremes in this game. Theunderwater environments are filled with shimmering rocks, colorful plants, andoutcroppings of coral. Families of turtles slip through the water in a statelyline, while schools of fish dance in circles and translucent jellyfish sitsuspended in the depths. The most amazing creatures by far are thedolphins--including Ecco--as they are rendered in perfect detail and benefit fromincredibly fluid animation. This is one beautiful game, and the serenesoundtrack adds to the overall atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the gameplay is about as shallow as the ocean is deep. There aremany missions to complete, from dolphin races to killing teams of sharks, butthere are so few controls that nearly all assignments are completed in the sameway. Tasks become much harder as the game progresses, and the lack of directiongiven to players players needlessly adds to the difficulty. We wasted countlesshours of trial and error trying to figure out what we were supposed to do--timethat would have been saved had the mission objectives been clearer. Still,Ecco the Dolphin is an engaging way to waste time, thanks to its openenvironments and hypnotic beauty. --T. Byrl Baker

    Pros:

    • Absolutely beautiful environments
    • Fluid animation

    Cons:

    • No way to save games in the middle of a level

4-0 out of 5 stars Frustration beyond belief (but I love It)
This game is BEAUTIFUL!!! there is no doubt about it!!! Though it is a very stressful journey from beginning to end, you'll be sooo proud of yourself when (and if) you finally beat it. This game may be too dificult for younger gamers but you should try it.

4-0 out of 5 stars One of the most visually impressive games for the DC
When Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future was first released for the Dreamcast, it's mouth watering 3-D graphics and incredibly realistic environments were unlike anything else seen on the system to date, and even today with the Dreamcast sleeping with the fishes, Ecco is still one of the top best looking games for the ill-fated system.Just as it's 16-bit incarnations provided for the Genesis years before, this 128-bit update offers the aforemented incredible graphics and very challenging gameplay. As I said before, the graphics are incredibly lifelike and Ecco and all his on-screen fellows move very fluidly and it will be hard not to take your eyes off the screen.Unfortuneately, the same steep learning curve has been inherited here as well.It is very easy to get completely lost and stuck in the game and not know where to go or what to do next. All in all, this isn't a game for novice gamers, but for those who have played Ecco games of the past and look for challenging and lengthy gameplay will have plenty to look forward to here.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good and Bad
This game is great in so many ways. Ecco handles exactly as you would expect a dolphin to handle, and the scenary is gorgeous. For those who experienced Ecco in the old 2D games, this version will satisfy your nostalgia. Its got everything you have come to love from Ecco games

However...this game is tough... really really tough. Although this difficulty sometimes results from the puzzles or enemies, it is more often caused by gameplay issues. First, Ecco gets stuck easily in ocean rocks and vegetation, and you will scream at your TV in frustration as frequently come to a dead stop at the worst moments. Second, some of the stages are very dark, and you'll often find yourself straining to see even the most obvious details. One wonders why they couldn't raise the contrast just a bit more when they made the game. Finally, you can't save your game until you complete a level. Some of these levels take a long time to complete; it frequently gets to a point where you must choose between quitting and starting from scratch later, or continuing to play even though you have a headache from staring at the screen for 4 hours.

But the pros outweigh the cons in my opinion :)

5-0 out of 5 stars WOW, so beautiful!
This is probably the MOST beautiful game I've ever played on a console system and beats out a huge majority of PC games I've seen, too.You play as Ecco, a dolphin, and I must say, the underwater environments look fantastic and absolutely photo-realistic.It's one thing to have a photorealistic room full of bad guys to shoot up, but to have a photorealistic ocean, with the currents and ripple effects and corals and waterfalls and sunlight is just breath-taking on a whole new order. The animal models look stunning. You totally believe that Ecco is a real dolphin - that's how good the graphics are.I personally like the jellyfish, too - some are colorful while some are glossamer-transparent, really pretty (just don't bump into them!).This is one of those games you can play just to enjoy the environment. The music, which is calm and relaxing, perfectly supplements the visuals.I think this is a game the whole family can enjoy but I do have to point out one thing. It's pretty difficult! The way-out-there difficulty level may frustrate a lot of players...until they figure out that experiencing this superb game is probably more rewarding than beating the game.

I feel the same way about Space Channel 5, another Dreamcast game that is MUCH easier but has a groovy, danceable rhythm that makes it just as much fun to watch and experience as it is to finally beat it.Anyhow, buy/rent Ecco if you can!Dreamcast may be no more, but this masterpiece title alone shows just how beautiful a Dreamcast game could be!

5-0 out of 5 stars best game ever
ecco the dolphin is a classic that should not be lost through meanless games.Dreamcast maybe going out of buisness but Ecco will live forever!! we love you Ecco! you will swim forever in my heart Ecco! ... Read more

Fast-paced, arcade-style driving action hits the Dreamcast in the form of UbiSoft's Speed Devils--only this time, it's personal. The first thing you'll notice isthe game's emphasis on presenting recognizable rivals throughout the races. Instead ofcompeting against faceless "computer" foes, you meet 17 rival drivers with distinctpersonalities; these defining characteristics come out in their driving tendencies. YuKioto's calm demeanor, for example, is reflected in his calculated, mistake-free driving. It's a cool feature that gives the single-player game depth: you not only have to handlewacky obstacles as you roar around the track, but you have to handle each driverdifferently.

Speed Devils sports three gameplay modes: arcade, championship, andmultiplayer. While the multiplayer mode lets you take on a friend in several differentchallenges and races, the meat of the gameplay is in the championship mode. The goalhere is to progress through several driving classes. Each race nets you prize money, augmented by any side bets or special missions you've agreed to perform. Use the moneyto buy a better car or improve the one you've got; all the upgrades help you win moreraces, which moves you farther up the ranks and closer to your eventual goal of takingdown the mysterious Driver X.

With wild tracks and gameplay that radiates with personality, Speed Devils is anexpansive and delightful racer. --Sajed Ahmed

    Pros:

    • Weather effects during racing, including rain, snow, fog, and even seasonal changes
    • 2-player versus mode lets you take on a friend in split-screen racing action
    • The deep championship mode will keep you busy for a long time
    • Realistic reflections on the cars and refined texturing around the tracks
    Cons:
    • If you're into driving realism, the wacky cars and tracks may not appeal
    • At times, cars can seem detached from the driving surface

5-0 out of 5 stars The top 10 best racing game on Sega Dreamcast.
I remeber playing this game in December 25,2000. This is better then the online one. This game is a Sega Dreamcast classic. I think they can do better then that.

5-0 out of 5 stars speeddevils
Well there is one thing I know is that this game is the best racing game out.I went over my freinds house everyday just so I could play this game. And Know I am going online to try to find one for myself. So I give this game a 5.Also I would recomend this game to any one who loves racing.Or is intrested in racing.

5-0 out of 5 stars the best game
this is the best game for dreamcast. Its fun, cool, and cazy fun
I can play it for hours and hours. I like the cars the levels
this is a have to get game. And every one should have one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Speed Devils
I reccomend Speed Devils to anyone who is up to a fun gaming challenge. This game allows you to accept bets and buy and upgrade cars with the money you earn by winning races. You can also use that money to buy tires and other things to be more equipped for your race. THIS IS A GREAT GAME

5-0 out of 5 stars Just Plain Fun
This game rocks.First of all, you have great graphics.Ubisoft did a great job getting the road conditions down and the affect of the tires on different surfaces. And the skies are just as though you were there (my favorite is the Hollywood level at sunset). I don't know what the Amazon reviewer was on when he said the car tires seemed to levitate off the ground, probably a glitch in the demo he tested--besides who cares? Second, you start at the bottom of the competition and have to work your way up, making for at least a modest challenge for even a gaming expert. Third, you have got to love the choices in cars and the ultimate challenge of getting the priceless Mistique, which you can only get by beating Driver X (supposedly the toughest driver to beat) in a Vendetta challenge. Finally, you get to repair your car, sell it for cash, bet other drivers to see who can beat whom, and receive cash for busting radars in races! If you are someone looking for plain racing fun with some replay value, definately purchase this game, especially at under 10 bucks, you can't go wrong. ... Rayman 2: The Great Escape packs more charm and surprisesin a single level than most games can muster in their entire length. This 3-Dplatformer is designed in the same vein as Super Mario 64 for theNintendo 64and the Gex serieson the PlayStation. With the notable exception of SonicAdventure, Dreamcast owners have suffered through a dry spell whenit comes to action jumping games on the 128-bit system. Rayman 2was worth the wait.

The back of the case describes Rayman 2's graphics as "lush," butthat may be an understatement. The game's environments and effects areimpressive. We were awed by the amount of detail that has been designedinto many of the game's environments. Perhaps more amazing is that thegame suffers no slowdown despite the high-resolution visuals.

Pretty graphics aside, Rayman 2 delivers solid gameplay that willsuck in both casual and hardcore gamers. The controls are intuitive andspecial moves are easy to pull off. Rayman has a limited set ofmoves--basically he can run, jump, and shoot energy balls. Analog speed controlis fully implemented, letting users pounce through a field ofbutterflies or tiptoe around a sleeping guard. Several puzzles arescattered throughout the game, but they are so ingeniously designed thatyou'll never feel overwhelmed by their complication.

We were hard-pressed to come up with many drawbacks to this game. Oneslight flaw is the camera angle, which can sometimes interfere with yourability to accurately control the on-screen action. Fortunately, thiscan usually be amended with a few quick presses of the camera controlbuttons. Other than that, Rayman 2 is as good as it gets in thisgenre. Better still, Dreamcast owners get a special bonus: this versioncontains some extra levels you won't find anywhere else. If you havemultiple systems, this is the version to get. --T. Byrl Baker

4-0 out of 5 stars Definitely a good buy
I bought myself a used Dreamcast last year, and so far Rayman 2 has been one of the best games I have for it.

For fans of the Playstation version, it is a slight disappointment that there aren't actual voices for the cutscenes, which was something that added to the game.

There are some better things about it, though. For one, the frames per second is 60, as oppose to the PS1 version's 30.The graphics are very sharp, and the animation is very well done.

The levels are slightly different than its Playstation counterpart, and involves more maneuvers and features. Also, there is an exclusive multiplayer level found only on the Dreamcast version.

All in all, I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who still has a working Dreamcast.Oh, and it only takes up two blocks of memory space on the VMU, so memory is not an issue.Unless you only have one block.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best Dreamcast games you can buy!
Rayman 2 is a GREAT game! It's graphics are good, and it's gameplay is simply perfect!EVERY Dreamcast owner should get this game! It's challenging, intriguing, and fun. You're supposed to think your way through massive levels (54 to be exact) to get the 4 Masks of Polokus. It's really cool!Get RAYMAN 2: THE GREAT ESCAPE!

4-0 out of 5 stars Much Better then the PlayStation version (except...)
I first played Rayman 2 on the PlayStation. I loved the game, the voice acting most of all. When I bought my Dreamcast, I bought Rayman 2 for it. I love the Dreamcast version even better. The graphics are absolutly fantastic, as is the music. The only problem I have with it is that the Dreamcast version doesn't have the voice acting. Instead it has everybody talking some gibberish language. This was a big let down, and it's the only thing that's preventing me from giving it 5 stars. However, it's not enough to make me suggest not buying it. You'll have a pretty tough time getting everything in the game, so it will make you come back for more. If you're a fan of adventure games, you really should take a look at Rayman 2 (Dreamcast or PlayStation). I can't wait untill Ubi Soft puts Rayman 3 out on GameCube!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game
This game is great. There are lots of varied levels to play that are just the right difficulty...not too easy, not too hard. The sound, graphics and gameplay is outstanding....so far I have not had any problems such as glitches in the game(i'm a little more than half way thru it). I very strongly recommend this product to anyone you wants a good platform game.

    Amazon.com Review

Does tearing down the streets of San Francisco at death-inducing speedsappeal to you? If so, San Francisco Rush 2049 is your game. However, in2049, the legendary hills and hairpin turns of the City by the Bay have beenmodified for extreme racing action, if not exactly deep gameplay. Still, it'sthe blazing speeds and colors that'll keep arcade racing fans applying the pedalto the proverbial metal.

If you're a fan of the Rush series, you'll be happy to see that the basicgameplay hasn't changed much. All of the races take place on tracks that featurewild colors and many twists and turns. This time, however, the setting is afuturistic San Francisco that resembles our present-day one only vaguely. Asusual, the secret to winning Rush's races isn't so much driving abilityas it is finding all of the shortcuts on a given track. This time around, youactually can make your car glide (by activating hidden wings) whenever itcatches some air--a cool feature that feels somewhat underutilized. In additionto standard racing, Rush also offers five other play modes, includingghost (in which you race against an image of your previous best lap time),circuit, battle, and stunt modes.

In battle, you and up to three other friends drive around huge arenas furiouslywhile trying to blast each other to kingdom come. Your cars can carry a host ofodd weapons including chain guns, mines, and mortar. All in all, fans ofTwisted Metal or Vigilante 8 should have fun with battle mode, asthe arenas are cleverly designed, and the action is fast and furious. It'salmost worth price of admission alone.

As in previous Rush editions, the stunt mode offers arenas that'll testyour control of the cars' already ludicrously exaggerated physics. You'llperform impossible maneuvers in arenas that defy even fundamental laws ofarchitecture. The more flips, spins, and death-defying landings that you pulloff, the higher your score.

I was a little surprised at the lack of aggression that was shown bycomputer-controlled racers, which seemed a bit lax in their efforts to stop youfrom passing them, and instead almost behaved as if they were on rails, andoblivious to you stealing the lead.

Also, while the graphics show amazing amounts of detail and color, at timesthey'll show a definite slowdown. No, it's not quite bad enough to ruin a race, but it's noticeable and does show some sloppiness on Midway's part.

After the race has been won, you'll find, for near-mindless arcaderacing/gliding/blasting/stunts, that San Francisco Rush 2049 is a highlyplayable arcade racer that'll make fans of the series, both old and new, happythat they own a Dreamcast. If you've never played a Rush game, this is anexcellent intro to the series. --Mark Brooks

    Pros:

    • Bright, colorful, and highly detailed graphics
    • Many different gameplay modes
    • Four-player battle mode

    • Irritating slowdown during races
    • Computer-controlled racers are not aggressive

5-0 out of 5 stars RUSH ONE
It doesn't matter if you are black... or white. This is the most exciting, challenging, strategimus oriented multiplayer in the history of games. It requires supreme tactimus to execute a long-distance greening, or aggressive lime-maying.There is an obvious advantage if you can gain control of tubesticks and limes, but the tables can turn if you get bubble and regain the limes. That is of course unless someone does the deed!

4-0 out of 5 stars Good
This game you should buy. Its like crash team racing but this is better. It good graphics and gameplay

5-0 out of 5 stars hands down the best multiplayer game EVER
OK, so you like racing games....thats great, I don't really. But there is this battle mode in this San Francisco Rush 2049 game that is wicked ru.I have been playing nonstop for close to 2 years and I never get tired of it.The physics are excellent, and well are the courses. You keep discovering new jumps and possiblities with each play. The weapons are perfectly designed. There are limes, tube stick, pews, green gun, machinis, emp, balls, and assram.Of course these are the names we came up for the warpens, but you can make an argument that any one of these is the best weapon in the game.they are complement each other perfectly. This game is absolutely perfect, the only downside is you have to play the racing and stunt mode to unlock all the cars!stoop.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Must Have
If you don't have this game, the question is where have you been? This is the greatest racing/battle fiction game for the Dreamcast. Buy the game you won't be sorry.

5-0 out of 5 stars This game is hours of family fun!!!
All 3 phases, racing, stunt, and battle modes are wonderful for family fun since up to 4 people can play at once. Our favorite is the Battle mode, which we basically refer to as "Battle Cars." Over July 4th our family got together and most of the indoor fun centered around this game. And in case you think I am a kid or something--you are right, I am. A 33-year-old kid who plays this with his brothers who go up to 40 years old! Our kids play, too. It is simply the best all-around video game I have ever played! It won't disappoint! There are enough variations with cars (car type, engine, wing types, tires, frame, rims, etc...), races (6 basic tracks with variations), unlocking special items by finding coins (takes hours but is a lot of fun!), stunting (jumping over obstacles and doing tricks with your car!), and of course, battle. If you buy any game for your Dreamcast or N64, buy this one. Yeah, it is a "dead" system now, but I will keep mine until it dies of old age due to this game alone. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars best fighter game around
i just have to say this game was great. i rented it around 11 o'clock a.m. i stopped playing it at 12 at night. i was so drawn into it i didnt realize how long i had been playin. it is so real and being in a F-14 Tomcat was a dream it was just like a real HUD display. the only problem was there should be more American fighters, it was all focused around the jap jets, but i can understand it because it was made in japan. lol. so i give it a 4.5 out of 5 . great game but the price is still to high for me to buy .

5-0 out of 5 stars Great flying game
This is a great flying game. Makes you feel like a real pilot with great controls. No, you don't get to blow up a whole lot of things, but it is pretty challenging. Good selection of planes to choose from and a fantastic training mode. It could use a little more variety of modes but the graphics and flight simulation are extremely good. Overall, a great game.

2-0 out of 5 stars Nice to look at for the first 10 minutes or so
but it gets old pretty quickly after that. The terrain looks good and the controls are very easy to operate. But there aren't any combat missions; your entire selection of combat options are dogfighting against either one or two enemy planes. Most of the game consists of target shooting, flying around courses and shooting at baloons. This might be a good choice for a younger child who just wants to fly around some nice scenery and maybe learn to land the plane on the runway. I played it a total of about 2 hours and lost interest.

3-0 out of 5 stars What IS this game supposed to be anyway????
First the good:Airstrike looks beautiful, and controls are easy to use.

And the bad:Airstrike is not a wargame. This means you WON'T get your typical flight-sim mission directives like "Fly behind enemy lines, take out the enemy radio towers, avoid SAM's and enemy aircraft...", etc.

Instead what you get are very simplistic goals like: "Shoot down this plane... which will be harder than the last plane you shot down".Most of the game consists of "Training Missions" which instruct players in the basics of controlling their aircraft.

Not that training missions are a bad thing, but they're usually a small part of larger 'mission-based' war games. In this case, the training IS the game, which I have to say, is not exactly exciting.

I've read a few reviews which talk about the plethora of real-world details and options, and frankly I have no idea what they're talking about. The options for dogfights are limited to: "You vs. 1 Enemy", or "You vs. 2 Enemies".

You want a wingman?Sorry, this game doesn't support them.

You want a ground target?Sorry this game doesn't support those either.

You want standard defensive options like chaff and ECM.Sorry, you'll need to buy a flight sim for that.

Which brings us to the question, what is this game? Its not an action game, because the action is pretty repetitive. Its not a strategy game, because there are no missions, (although the head to head dogfighting can be very strategic). Its not a sim, because its extremely unrealistic.So... I guess its just a pretty game that lets you fly airplanes around a few limited, but pretty, environments. The sad thing is that we STILL don't have a good flightsim for the Dreamcast that ties together Action, Strategy, Storyline, Missions, Real Physics, and all those things we all look for in this type of package.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Game!
Aerowings 2 is great, but that depends on your taste in Flight Simulation. If your bag is casual flying with not too much attention to detail and more attention to blowing things up, this is probably not your kind of game. If, however, you want a game that truly gives you the feeling of true flight mechanics and top-of-the-line graphics, this is the game for you. It chaught my attention because of its smooth, realistic control and great attention to detail. It really feels like you're flying a real jet fighter! So many options, weather conditions, and a 2-player dogfight make this an awesome game. ... Read more

Re-Volt is a remote-control car "simulator" that combinesa convincing physics model with arcade elements to create one of thebetter racing games for the Dreamcast.

Control with the analog pad is a little touchy, so we usually ended upsteering with the digital pad. Re-Volt takes full advantage ofthe Dreamcast's analog triggers, allowing for fine control over forwardand reverse speeds. The cars react to the tracks just like theirreal-life remote control counterparts do: flipping off curbs, absorbingsuspension-jarring jumps, and bouncing off competing cars. The tracksare also realistic, letting players race through grocery stores, museums, neighborhoods, and the like. Acclaim even threw in a trackeditor so intrepid racers can design their own courses.

Don't think that you can outrace the competition by simply droningaround the track. Winning requires a combination of driving skill and amastery of the game's myriad weapons, including oil slicks, bombs, bottle rockets, and water balloons. The weapon effects do much toenhance the game's graphical appeal, which is immense to begin with.--T. Byrl Baker

    • Realistic physics
    • Slick graphics

    • Controls are hard to get used to

5-0 out of 5 stars A must have for Dreamcast
This is a really great game. Being involved in real RC only makes it even more fun. Some of the cars are a bit strange (Panga, which is a panda bear on wheels) but all handle very close to real life RC cars. It's not too hard of a game once you get a feel for the cars and tracks, but it always has a good amount of challenge to it. The only minor problem I have with the game is with the menus. The only way to exit a race in progress (other than championship) is to return all the way to the title screen. Other than that I think this game is one of the best racers for DC.

    5-0 out of 5 stars Re-Volting
    Great little game, very addicting.
It's revolting that it's out of stock!

5-0 out of 5 stars RC-Pro Am meets Mario Kart!!!
I can pretty much say that this is one of the best racing games that I've played in a long time. I don't even know where to start, but I'll try.
When I put Re-Volt in my Dreamcast, I wasn't REALLY sure of what to expect. For one, I was not expecting the great music! It was like stepping into a club! This upbeat music kept my head in the game for hours at a time.
Then, when I actually started the game, I noticed that there were many options and MANY RC cars to unlock. You can race in tournaments, single races, and you can even take your car onto a stunt track.
The actual tracks are very original; from racing in a supermarket, to rooftops and through peoples' homes! not only are the tracks very original and lots of fun, but the graphics are very detailed and smooth. RV is definitely not lacking in that department.
The actual control is very good as well. It's about as close as you're going to get to real RC racing without buying one. you have to take into account the actual physics of an environment before you go Super Dave-ing it through puddles of oil, or taking a top-heavy RC around a sharp turn.
Weapons...no truly FUN racing game should be without them. RV has them. Cool items like battery packs to temporarily increase your speed to funny weapons like water balloons (especially when you toss one at a friend and make fun of'em for the rest of the day), and HUGE ball bearings. Oh yeah, this game is great.
If you purchase this game (which you really should), be prepared for a lot of "unlocking secrets" and very little down time. The only downside to RV is the fact that if you do get 3 other people to play with you, that it gets a little confusing because there's a four-way screen split and there's so much happening on the screen. Other than that, I can honestly say that this game was an excellent buy!

5-0 out of 5 stars This game RULEZ!!
This is probably the best racing game for the Dreamcast console! The graphics are awesome and the gameplay is outstanding choose from about 40 remote control racers and about 10-15 tracks. You can even make your own track with the track maker. From supermarkets to ghost towns, this game blows other racing games out of the water!!!!

    5-0 out of 5 stars Re-volt
Re-volt is an awesome 3-dremote control car racer simulation. You can make your own tracks and there is about 50 cars to choose from (if you beat the game). You start with 10 and you get 10 more every time you accomplish a trophy. ... Read more

    Editorial Review

Most of us remember waging monumental battles and planning out complicated rescues with toy planes, boats, and such in our youth. Now you can do the same, virtually, in Sega's Toy Commander. The premise is straight from a six-year-old's dream: some of your toys have gone bad and are rampaging through eight rooms in your intricately detailed home. It's up to you to take command of the loyal toys and lead them through 50 individual missions to put a stop to the plastic menace.

The progressively more difficult missions, consisting of action sorties like rescuing toy steamboats from malicious submarines, or strategic ones like transporting eggs into a pot of boiling water, are anything but a tea party. All missions fit comfortably within the game's storyline and can be seriously challenging. The sense of scale, as you commandeer the game's 35 vehicles, is true to the look of an ordinary room to a tiny toy. Fun and offering a surprising amount of depth, Toy Commander is a nostalgic, innovative, and entertaining romp. --Sajed Ahmed

    Pros:

    • 4-player split-screen death match mode, using any of the 35 vehicles in one of the eight rooms
    • All the vehicles look and handle very differently, adding to the gameplay
    • Impressive detail and interactivity in the game's environments
    • Varied missions include warlike action, racing, and strategy elements
    Cons:
    • Tedious mission goals could prove frustrating

5-0 out of 5 stars "I am the Toy Commander"
Single player the excitement builds up for each game in each room. Airplanes and Spaceships, dogfighting and dropping bombs on enemy vehicles, trains, ships and submarines. Tanks and armored vehicles fighting from the ground, along with the infantry protecting civilians. Race with planes, cars, and helicopters. Two, three or four player can fight each other. And destroying teddy bears; What more can you ask for. Great action, good controls, especially in dogfights, excellent graphics. You won't be disappointed if you like to play war.

2-0 out of 5 stars Could have been much better, a real disappointment
I really had my heart set on Toy Commander and when I got it, the game just didn't deliver! The game concept is really cool on paper but it didn't translate into a good game. The jerky camera which comes as a result of the poor vehicle control actually makes me sick everytime I play it! Control is so important in any 3D game and this game just lacking, big time!

The multi player mode is also disappointing as the small vehicles get lost among the colourful stages. The game is just not fun! The graphics and the sounds are great but the game is just lacking in the fun department.

I'm sorry people but the bottom line is that you can pass on this game and be quite contented because you saved a couple of bucks.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Forgotten Toy...
Toy Commander was a little game released by Sega a few months after the Dreamcast was unleashed. It received good reviews, but not that many people bought it. Well, anyone who has a Dreamcast owes it to themselves to buy this game. Toy Commander is one of the most original titles I have ever played.

    The Good:

The premise and gameplay is very original. You are the Toy Commander (Andy, a young boy), who has lost control over many of his childhood toys. In a series of 50+ missions, you must fight for the alliance of your toys and regain your title as Toy Commander.
The missions are very imaginative and use the environements (bathtubs, hallways, parent's rooms, bath rooms) very cleverly. My favorite is where you make an assault on a "harbor" (a bathtub) in your plane.
Simple, but clear and sharp graphics
Music goes well with the mood of the game
Many different vehicles to choose from
The game is very humorous and utilizes the "Toy" concept very well
The weapons are very cool (even if there are only 4)

    The Bad:

Some wonky controls and camera angles can lead to some cheap deaths
A few of the missions are impossible to complete in the given time limit
The bosses are way too easy

Toy Commander is one of the rare games that is both original and fun. The gameplay is so varied and clever that Toy Commander never gets stale. There is even a multiplayer mode- which is also gobs of fun. If the game's controls were a bit tighter, TC would be perfect. Still, Toy Commander is one of the finest games on the Dreamcast. And to Sega: Please make a sequel sometime soon!

5-0 out of 5 stars Toys,Toys, and more Toys!
Toy Commander is a very good game. When I do single player and multiplayer, I stock up on the cheats to defeat bosses. Just go to a site with cheats and you'll defeat the game in no time!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars This Is A Must Have!!!
I just got this game yesterday and can't stop playing it (I'm eating right now).A lot of people say it is really challenging, but it isn't that hard, only some missions. There is 50 missions in 7 different rooms.I am on my 4th room right now, which is the Parents Bedroom.Im telling you, if you have Dreamcast you have to have this game!!!Buy it!!! ... Amazon.com Review

It's a shame that the Dreamcast went the way of the dodo, because by theend of its reign it was the undisputed king of sports titles, as games likeNHL 2K2 prove. This sequel to Sega's NHL 2K improves on its flawedpredecessor in every way to emerge as arguably the best overall hockeysimulation on any platform.

The key word is simulation. There are no arcade trappings to be found here. Thepace is toned down to match the speed of the real sport, goals are infrequentand hard-won, and the offensive and defensive strategies come straight from thehockey textbooks. The graphics are excellent, and special note must be made ofthe phenomenal animation for everything from the players to the spinning puck(which flips end-over-end after particularly aggressive slap shots and careensrealistically off any object it encounters). Beginners will have an easy enoughtime warming up to the controls in the default mode, but much more depth isoffered by switching to the advanced control layout. Here, button combos makenearly any trick possible, from dekes and precise shot control to hooks and sidesteps. The more you put into the game, the more it rewards you, and the enhancedAI makes single-player games nearly as challenging as a multiplayer match.

Everything from an exhibition mode to a full-blown career mode is offered, andplenty of options exist for adjusting penalties, toggling rules, and setting theoverall speed of the game. There's no way to turn it into an over-the-top arcadeexperience like NHL Hitz, but as the focus here is strictly onsimulation, that's not really a problem. As it stands, NHL 2K2 is amongthe best sports games ever released, and we can think of no more fitting swansong for the Dreamcast. --T. Byrl Baker

    Pros:

    • Lifelike animations, realistic physics, and a focus on simulation bring the game of hockey right into your home
    • Incredibly tough AI offers a consistent challenge
    • Advanced control mode gives expert players more options than ever
    Cons:
    • Graphics overall are not as sharp as those found on Xbox or GameCube
    • Sound--especially crowd noise--is lackluster

    Editorial Review

Select from more than 30 different fighters as you take to the skies to defend a newly independent republic from its many enemies--for fame, for glory, and most of all: for a price.

Konami's Air Force Delta features simplistic controls with an emphasis on supersonic fighter plane action rather than the mechanics of flight. Those who worry about flap positions and realistic spin modeling won't find either here, but armchair top guns will enjoy the game's shoot-'em-up feel and ultrarealistic graphics.

You assume the role of a mercenary pilot flying missions with very specific goals, such as destroying a convoy of ships or knocking reconnaissance planes out of the sky. Taken one by one, these missions are enjoyable and engaging, but they are all pretty similar and quickly become bland. Succeeding in a mission earns credits to buy new planes--more than 30 beautifully modeled real-world aircraft are available. Unfortunately, the differences between the fighters are mostly cosmetic. While you may find a plane that performs better in a certain mission than others, they all pretty much fly the same way.

The graphics are impressive--but things tend to move too fast to afford much sightseeing. In particular, the fighters are extremely detailed and authentic. The first time you see vapor trails form on your wingtips as you pull a high-g maneuver, your jaw will drop and you'll begin to insist that your friends call you "Maverick."

Air Force Delta is a good "sh
