5-0 out of 5 stars one of the better games.
This game is amazingly fun and addicting. I started playing 2 or so years ago, and i'm still playing it. It will only take you a couple of weeks to reach Heavy Mode and maybe a month or 2 before you can beat MaxX UNLIMITED.
To play this game, you step on the arrows on the dance pad corresponding to the arrows scrooling up the screen. Some songs are exceptionally fast (320 BPM: MaxX UNLIMITED), others are really slow (140 BPM: So Deep). The fast ones may seem impossible to read at first, but after some time, it'll be easier to read than a picture book.
Personally, the hard songs are really easy over time. Believe it or not, i have "AAA"ed MAX 300, MaxX UNLIMITED, and The legend of MAX, and im one of the best players in Ohio.
And by the way, if you go to buy the Japanese version of MAX2 or Extreme, have fun with PARANOiA Survivor MAX (Hardest song in DDR history) ;)

4-0 out of 5 stars Much better than seditary gaming!
I love this, I still don't understand how anyone can actually do the advanced levels (seems impossible to me).The thing that I'm not sure about is if it will save info for 2 players?Overall fun and a good workout for body and mind and spirit.

1-0 out of 5 stars "Patrick Swayze Would have been proud of me"
Last Friday, my aunt Chris and uncle Chris (no joking they have the same exact name; on a side note though, for laughs I like to call uncle Chris aunt Chris, lol)came into town to go to some formal dinner of some sorts with Mom and Dad. I was supposed to go to 9 Mile with Lyle and look at guitars with him but Mom and Dad said I had to baby-sit Chris and Chris's 12 year old daughter (my cousin) Trisha.

She was kind of spoiled but that's what happens to most only children. Anywho, she brought over this new virtual reality game for the PS2 called Dance Dance Revolution 2. Whereas the point is to stand on these pads and, you guessed it dance. Lyle ended staying over to keep me company while bratty Trisha played with her High Brow toy. She ended up having two of those virtual reality pads so two people could play. When she offered, Lyle immediately stated, "NO WAY, those are strictly for girls and Asian guys", I quickly followed his lead to save face with him (he was a little irritated that we had to skip guitar browsing, so I didn't want to push it).

Around 10:30 Trisha went to bed so Lyle and I watched Black Dog (a great Patrick Swayze movie, by the way), Lyle went to bed right after the movie ended, but I told him I wanted to stay up a little bit to practice my harmonica. After about 15 minutes when I thought he would be a sleep, I kind of betrayed him and turned on Dance Dance. I played and it grew on me really quick. Before I knew it, I was dancing like my feet were on fire. After about twenty minutes I thought how fun it would be to go head on head with someone else. Since I dared not to wake up Lyle or Trisha, I had an ingenious idea.

What I did was I boxed in the second pad with the couch, loveseat, and chairs, then I tied a bog biscuit to a string and hung it from the light fixture above the pad. Then I woke up Morris (my dog) and did a quick grappling bout with him to riel him up. When I found him ready enough I put him in the furniture enclosure and showed him the dog biscuit. The match was on! We played straight for about a half-hour. I danced like there was no tomorrow while he jumped up and down trying to get the treat that was just inches from his grip. In the end I pretty much annilatted Morris, I think he only beat me like once.

In conclusion, Virtual Reality is finally starting to show some promise. It's been a long road for it. I just hope the world can show the future generations of virtual reality the tolerance and acceptance that Morris, Trisha, and I have.

Now at the Review writing section it asked me 2 questions. The first was "How much fun is this game?".Well thats easy.It is a Tuttleman approved 5 stars of fun.The second question was "How do you rate this game overall?".The problem is that I could never admit to Lyle that I actually liked this crazy contraption.Do you know how many cool points I would lose if Lyle knew I was (for one night only) a solid-gold lord of the dance with feet of fire!?ALL OF THEM.So I'm rating it 1 star over-all, just in case Lyle asks me what I rated it.That way I won't technically be lying to Lyle.Later.

5-0 out of 5 stars DDR Rocks!
This game is fun, addicting, and healthy for you! DDR Max 2 is well worth its price. Although most of the songs in it are not all that common, the music selection is still pretty good and I would recomend this game for any beginners in the world of DDR.

It teaches you the basics and also allows you to choose harder options for those of whom are already hooked to the arcade version.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME

5-0 out of 5 stars Roll with a goal!!
Upon hearing about this game, my knee-jerk reaction was that it would be the most boring game in existence.I mean, seriously, how fun can it be to roll around a ball, picking up various items along the way?!Apparently more fun than anyone anticipated (judging by others' reactions and ratings)!

Other reviewers have been doing a great job describing the goal of the game; that of rolling around a sticky ball (katamari) and picking up progressively larger items.Once you get the katamari a certain size (as determined by what mission, stage, level you're on) the King of the Cosmos turns your katamari into a star or constellation.

What many of the reviewers seem to have missed is the goal of each level. The overarching theme is to make stars and constellations, in order to restore all of the stars to the sky. However, each level has specific nuances. For instance, when trying to make the constellation Taurus, the goal is to pick up the largest cow you can find.Additionally, you may want to try working on making the constellation of Gemini. In this level you need to try and pick up two (a pair) of each item.Your score is then calculated for however many pairs you have.

The game is fantastic, simple (in controls and purpose), but still challenging... with time limits to produce a certain-sized katamari.I do not own this game, and have only played it once, but I guarantee that I will be purchasing this game in the near future! It's a great game.Give it a chance!I think you'll like it!

4-0 out of 5 stars Humorous, infectuos and weird
So, you are pint sized prince who rolls katamari, a ball that everything sticks to. As things stick to katamari, ball grows and larger are the objects that you can merge with katamari. Almost all levels are time trial (I dislike time trials) and you have a size ball must reach, so you roll around and learn what levels look like in order to make katamari grow faster. All levels are medium or easy, except Poland.

Game is logical, which we haven't seen in a long time, and it is really attractive: imagine rolling 5 cm big katamari to pick up nuts and batteries in the beginning of the level and , after some time, rolling katamari big enough to pick up people, cars, buildings, and , finally, clouds and rainbows.

There should be a sequel soon, and I'd like to see levels that are different visually (Saudi Arabia looks like Russia). Some levels could have special restrictions, like it is forbidden to roll people, some levels should have interesting geometry, let's say sliding down the street or possibility to roll down the roller coaster. It would also be nice to have more levels with large katamari, and more levels in general.

The main reason game got 4 stars is camera...but, BUY! Game is weird but also really fun to play!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars ????????????? But FUN!
the developers of this game were obviously on an overdose of every drug ever created! This is the wierdest game i have ever and ever will play in my entire life! But in a good way . . . the game actualy has shadow of brilliance combined with block and and solid objects. The game however is VERY fun! which makes me wonder about drugs . . . (just kidding, drugs are bad!)all ages will find a whimsical joy in this odd, fun, and blurry brilliance. Its a bragain, u have no excuse!

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun, Fun, Fun!
This is a great game for anyone, no matter the age.
If you can use the Playstation controller, you can play this game.

Plenty of others have given good descriptions of it, so I just wanted to echo a 5 star review.

If you have kids, you will be playing right along with them, I'm sure.

5-0 out of 5 stars Tripped Out
I first played this game at a buddies house and was hooked on of all things, the tunes.Basically this game is like the others have said - the stars are gone and it's the son of the King of Cosmos' job to put them back to the sky, and re-create the constellations. So, the son goes to earth and with a ball called a Katamari, he rolles up anything from ants to skyscrapers so that a giant ball of stuff they can be elevated into the sky and turned into stars.

The thing about this game that's so addictive are the little challenges to it and finding different things that you missed the first 4 times you rolled on a level. You wind up enjoying watching others play it because you look at the details of all the objects that are around you in the game - and how impressive it is!(the amount of detail)The gameplay to this is simple and fun - one of my friends likened rolling the ball to driving the Warthog in Halo 2; not so bad of an analogy. But that's all you really need - you don't use the buttons really or anything else; just the analog sticks, which make it a game that almost anyone can play and enjoy.

Definitely recommend it.I enjoyed the game and the tunes in the game were cute if anything else.Try not to think too much of the 'plot' of the game... there really isn't one although there is a small story to carry along which is more of a gag for the tripped out herb heads. But this really is a pretty easy game that you can just pop in, take your mind off things, and play.I guess my only gripe would be that it wasn't very long at all... even though I wound up playing it for about 3 hours straight when i got it.Check it out! ... 1-0 out of 5 stars More frustrating that fun.
This game is just full of holes. The loading takes way too long, the career mode takes months before you see results, the game freezes at the worse possible times, and it's just bad times.
For instance, I tried career mode over the last week. I built a guy, did alright, played around for an hour, and the game froze up. I tried it again the next day, played for an hour and tried to save, froze while I was saving. Just 3 minutes ago it took the typical 3-5 minutes of random loading, and froze the second the loading bar was full.

AND ANOTHER THING, the game designers seemed to focus more on pointless features like 10-year contract bonuses and pitcher confidence, and less on actual hitting/pitching. I can't count the number of times my bat went right through a ball for a strikeout. There are also random glitches that cause balls to break the laws of phyisics to get strikes.

This just seems to be a Murphy's-law kind of game. It WILL freeze at the worst possible time, you WILL strike out in the most important situation, and you WILL want to pull the CD out of the machine and punch it into powder.
PS: It's not just my CD that freezes up, almost every person who's reviewed as noticed it.

3-0 out of 5 stars It's so annoying
The games whole setup is awsome but almost every time I play it the game frezzes. I'm in the middle of my franchise and it frezzes on me. Its sooooo cheap and annoying.(I was winning too!) I just don't see how such a great game has sucha big issue. So annoying! Geeze! I just can't belive it. But anyway, sometimes it freezes while it's giving me a tip or just freezes out of nowhere and my ps2 screen goes pure white. I can still hear all the sound and everything but it's either white or not moving at all. You can get the game and enjoy it but suffer some major issues. Or you can just wait until you see something else you like. But on my opinion I sorta wish I don't have it and havemething else.

1-0 out of 5 stars Game Freezes!!!!
Do not buy, listen to everybody when they say the game freezes!!!It always does.Dont waist your time, and especially your money!

    5-0 out of 5 stars MLB 2006
It is a good game, but it is a little to cartonish for me. I am glad you have Mark Elis on the game. I liked the graphics and the game play

1-0 out of 5 stars Game Freezes
Sony...read one of these reviews why don't ya? Every single person who has written a review says that this game freezes...and so do I. Jeez! I've been a faithful fan of MLB since it came out, but this game is so frustrating! I'll get into the 8 or 9th inning and wham...the game freezes. It locks up, so you can't play it and have to restart. I've even won games and been in the process of coming back to the main menu when it freezes.Never again will I buy this game. Never never never never never never.

If Sony would just fix this problem the game would kick butt!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This Game Is Awesome!
I think this game is really fun!!! I have Volume 3, and My cousin had volume 1 and now has volume 3, and we both think that this game is really fun. For people who love to sing like I do, This is one of the best video games ever. My friend and I play for hours. I haven't played volume 2 yet, but by looking at the list of songs that are on the game, I think it would bea lot of fun! I REALLY recommend this game!

4-0 out of 5 stars Not As Good As Volume 3 But Still Fun
I have a few comments.First, I'm quite ticked that they have I'll Make Love To You on the disk.I would have given this disk a 5 out of 5 if it weren't for that one thing. We play this game with a 9 year old and an 11 year old. They do have it censored by saying "I'm going to take off my charm" or something instead of "off my clothes."But it helps little. (Volume 3 I have *no* complaints as far as the kids go for song choice on the disk.)

The songs to choose from for karaoke competition are as follows:
Song List (all below are "originally by"):
    1) Baby One More Time (originally by Britney Spears)
    2) Born to Be Wild (originally by George Thouroughgood and the Delaware Destroyers)
    3) Every Breath You Take (The Police)
    4) Friends in Low Places (Garth Brooks)
    5) Genie In A Bottle (Christina Aguilera)
    6) Heartbreak Hotel (Elvis)
    7) Here Without You (3 Doors Down)
    8) Hot Stuff (Donna Summer)
    9) I Believe in a Thing Called Love (The Darkness)
    10) I Will Survive (Gloria Naylor)
    11) Irresistible (Jessica Simpson)
    12) It's My Life (No Doubt covering Talk Talk's version)
    13) Jessie's Girl (Rick Springfield)
    14) Lady Marmalade (Patti LaBelle)
    15) My Girl (The Temptations)
    16) Papa Don't Preach (Madonna)
    17) Rock and Roll All Nite (Kiss)
    18) Sittin on the Dock of the Bay (Otis Redding)
    19) Sweet Home Alabama (Lynyrd Skynyrd)
    20) The First Cut is the Deepest (Sheryl Crow)
    21) Toxic (Britney Spears)
    22) Virtual Insanity (Jamiroquai)
    23) We Are Family (Sister Sledge)
    24) White Flag (Dido)
Those are the songs listed on the back. Also included on the disk:
    25) Cry (Waterfront? Kim Marsh? I don't know)
    26) Drift Away (Doobie Brothers)
    27) I Hate Everything About You (Three Days Grace)
    28) I'll Make Love To You (Boyz II Men)
    29) I'm With You (Avril Lavigne)
    30) I've Got You Under My Skin (I have no idea. So many artists have covered this.)
    31) Let's Get It On (Marvin Gaye)
    32) Miss You (Aaliyah or Mariah Carey??)
    33) Perfect (Alanis Morissette I *think*)
    34) The Joker (Steve Miller Band)
...And I think I'm missing one because the back said 35 songs. Oh well.

Sometimes we let our 9-year-old be on the Easy level, and that helps him to do just as well as we do."Adjustable difficulty levels ensures that anyone can be a karaoke star," it says on the back of the box.And it's true.

The songs were recorded as close to by the original artists as possible, and they did a great job with that. The First Cut is the Deepest is pretty much the only song that really, really doesn't sound like the original artist (Sheryl Crow). But it still sounds pretty good. You sing along and choose how loud you want your own voice versus the recorded voice to be.It works really well that way.Sometimes I wish I could hear my own voice more through the speakers, but I think that is our own setup.

I do indeed recommend this product to others.Volume 3 is the best, though!! :)

2-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic concept, just not for me
As a big fan of the Bemani series of arcade music games (such as Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Freaks and Beatmania), I was pumped when I heard about the first installment of this game. It's basically DDR for your voice.

However, as I soon found out, my voice apparently doesn't work as well as my feet, and even though I didn't have too much trouble passing songs, hearing my own voice through TV speakers was more than a little discomfiting.

Still, when KR2 came out, I decided to give it a second chance.I was sorely disappointed at the lack of new material, though. All the songs are new, but there's not much in the way of interesting genres... only pop, a few country songs, a few oldies and a stale rock song or two.More troubling, there's only a few new venues - the rest are repeated from the first game.

The first game has an option to load an expansion disc. This game should have been made an expansion disc and we all could have saved $20.

But don't listen to me.If you love singing, you will love this game, and you'll play it all night like I play DDR.If you don't like singing - don't bother trying.

4-0 out of 5 stars upset yet thrilled buyer
i bought kaeroke revolution2 from bestbuy.com and the handheld mic from amazon.com... a week into my play, the mic started acting up and now is broken.. i do not recommend the handheld mic

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game!
Karaoke Revolution is a great game. I don't have volume 1 but I decided to buy volume 2 because it looked like it had more songs that I know. You don't need volume 1 for this game to work.I may buy it later to get more songs. But I think they should have a way for you to upload more songs into the game. This has a great mix of contemporary and classic songs. My socom logitech usb headset mike works fine with this game.(At first I tried the talk net internet headset but it didn't work with this game) I really like using the headset because you can dance around and really get into singing the songs. This game is great and easy to use for everyone.I play only a couple of ps2 games so i'm that great at a lot of games but this game is great for everyone. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A Great Game
This is such a great game! Although when you play the Season Mode, in the beginnning it is quite difficult. But if you play Free Mode, and pick an SS horse, which is basically an A++++ horse in our language, you'll get a better place number after the finish. You see, the meaning of the game is "Horse-Racing." It is not like Gallop Racer 2003 - A New Breed; therefore you get a trainer, and you have to ridethe horses he/she are training. I recommend this game to any Action/Racing fan.

5-0 out of 5 stars For horse lovers
O...wow. This is the best horse game I have ever played! I can't imagine a horse racing lover not adoring this game. There's so much you can do - so many races you can ride in - and I don't think there's a time limit to the amount of years that you're a jockey! I like how you can progress to riding better horses as you get better. It sounds really obvious that you should be able to do that, but some games don't let you. Some horses have really cool abilities you can use to help win races, like Strong Heart. That's my favorite. You can also breed horses, which I haven't done yet, but I'm positive it'll be great! If you love horses and especially horse racing, BUY THIS GAME!

5-0 out of 5 stars Addicting!!
I could not stop playing this game when I first got it!! It has great graphics, and when you're in the pack while racing, you can actually feel the horses hooves poubding on the ground. If you don't like racing however, this game might bore you. You can breed your champion horses also! Great game!

5-0 out of 5 stars Gallop Racer 2004-AWESOME!!
All of the Gallop Racer games are FANTASTIC!! You get the full feel of the whole racing thing in this game. You ca, buy, and even breed horses, you bet, build your own course, better effects than even '03's. It is SO addictive!! You start playing; you can't stop!! I'm rank SS in both of the and have top notch horses. But even when you get this far you STILL don't win EVERY race. WAY more challenging than car races. (Yes I am a girl, and 12 if you want to know.) That's why I rank it-*****!!

4-0 out of 5 stars This Game is Great!!!
GR2003 is my favorite game. I'm expecting even more fun from 2004. The last game was (and still is) very addictive. Once I start playing it, I can't stop! I was surprised that I did not win every horse race like I do car games. But as I got used to the strategy of when I speed up the horse and slow it down, I started winning. I love to bet on the horses. It's like there are real horse races in my living room!! I'm a top-rank 11 year old jockey, and plan the same for the next game. I'm expecting to get this game for my birthday, then I'll be a top-rank 12 year old jockey!!:-) ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This is GREAT!
This game is the best ever!!! It's sooo much fun you wouldnt believe it! At first you might think that you will do bad because you don't think you're a good singer, but it's fun no matter what! You will love this wheather you are a child or an adult. You could play this game for hours!!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Incredibly fun alone or with friends
If you laugh at karaoke, you really need to give this a try! Not only it is amazingly fun - you can even sing duets with your friends!

We have Karaoke on the XBox and love the graphics and ability to download new songs. On the PS2, There is Karaoke 1 and Karaoke 2 which have that same song selection and venue set. With Karaoke 3, they bring in the brand new ability to sing duets.

First, the normal gameplay. You get a full new set of locations - from a garage with cars outside, to an incredibly fun music video set, to a classic 'rooftop' scene a la the Beatles.

You get a new batch of songs, and like all song sets, they are "reproduced" by professional singers. This means that sometimes they sound almost exactly the same - and sometimes there are differences that drive fans completely insane. It really depends on which particular song you enjoy and how fanatical you are about the accuracy.

There's a good selection though, from Oops .. I Did It Again to Under Pressure, from Ain't No Mountain High Enough to Respect. I have to admit, though, that there weren't any true Lisa Favorites in here. With my XBox karaoke, there are a bunch of songs that I'd gladly sing over and over again because I love them. There are 2 or 3 songs in here that I enjoy a lot, but nothing of the same level. I suppose it's always hard to choose a group of songs that appeal to a wide audience.

I suppose in a way I've been spoiled by the XBox download ability. I can just go online and grab more songs if I want with the XBox. With the PS2, I'm sort of stuck.

Once you get through the main gameplay, you automatically unlock all the original locations, which is great. The graphics are really pretty impressive, with the fans reacting immediately to your good and bad behavior. There is also a HUGE collection of characters to choose from now, from one-legged pirates to opera singers, from Indian girls to Meatloaf-looking guys. That is really something great.

Of course the main reason to get Karaoke 3 is the duets, and they are a TON of fun. You need 2 mics of course, and someone to sing with. Then each of you gets your own progress bar, one on the top, one on the bottom. There are only a handful of duet songs in here - from I Got You Babe to You're the One that I Want, from Shining Star to ABC. I like California Dreamin' myself, and it is actually a challenge to keep those harmonies going. But it's great fun!

Definitely an incredibly fun way to build up your singing skills, your tone and pitch and ability to hold notes for the proper length. An incredibly fun party game too, since just about every human sings along with songs they love, even if they won't admit to it. My only real complaint with this PS2 version is that you can't download new songs. You would think since the PS2 *is* able to go online that they'd give you some way to do it. Maybe we'll have to wait for the next generation Sony console before it catches up in this sense.

Bonus - watch the 'making of' video - they have the Badgers Badgers video running in the background on the laptop!

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST VIDEO GAME OF ITS KIND
I think this game is one of the best I've ever played. I love the song selections on it and I love all the different challenges. My friend and I play this for hours! Its really good for parties too (Birthdays, get togethers, etc.) :) I highly recommend this product!!!!!!! :) :) :)

5-0 out of 5 stars Haven't been able to use 2 headsets
I bought the first Karaoke game for my nieces for Christmas. We opened it early before they had to go home "to try it out". My sister and I fell in love with the game and had to go out and buy KR2 and KR3 and two lochitech headsets right away. I have not been able to use KR3 with the 2 headsets. The game locks up at the start. If we keep hitting the reset button, we can sometimes put in all of our information and then it locks up while the song is downloading. I tried the game using just one headset and it works just fine, but then I don't get to use all of the new features, like the duets or the sing offs. I haven't had any luck so far in trouble shooting this problem. I have switched headsets and I know they both work by themselves.

5-0 out of 5 stars Our Favorite Playstation 2 Game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All of the songs on Volume 3 are kid-friendly.That is a huge plus and, in my opinion, the first of 3 volumes with this feature. One thing that is really fun about this game is that we play with our 9 and 11-year-old, and we are in our early 30s. This game gives us the opportunity to get to know songs that we wouldn't normally know. For example, I listened to "Beat It" when I was 9 years old, and now our 9-year-old son can enjoy it.

The songs were recorded as close to the sound that the original artists made as possible, and they did a great job with that. The vocals to "I Got You Babe," "New York New York," and "Twist and Shout" didn't really sound like the original artists but who cares. We were singing over their voices.

The songs to choose from for karaoke competition are as follows:
(All songs below are "originally by" the artists in parenthesis):

    1) ABC (Jackson 5)
    2) Ain't No Mountain High Enough (The Temptations)
    3) Beat It (Michael Jackson)
    4) Burn (Usher)
    5) Careless Whisper (Wham!)
    6) Don't You Forget About Me (Simple Minds)
    7) I Got You Babe (Sonny and Cher)
    8) If I Ain't Got You (Alicia Keys)
    9) Leave Get Out (JoJo)
    10) Love Shack (B52s)
    11) Meant To Live (Switchfoot)
    12) My Immortal (Evanescence)
    13) New York New York (Frank Sinatra)
    14) Oops I Did It Again (Britney Spears)
    15) Respect (Aretha Franklin)
    16) Take My Breath Away (Berlin)
    17) The Reason (Hoobastank)
    18) Twist & Shout (The Beatles)
    19) Unchained Melody (The Righteous Brothers)
    20) Under Pressure (David Bowie)
Those songs were listed on the box. These songs are also there:
    21) Against All Odds (Phil Collins)
    22) California Dreamin (Mamas & Papas or the Beach Boys)
    23) China Grove (Doobie Brothers)
    24) Come Clean (Hillary Duff)
    25) Flashdance What A Feeling (Irene Cara)
    26) Hold On (Good Charlotte)
    27) Joy To The World (Three Dog Night)
    28) Killing Me Softly (by Luther Vandross but performed by a female--The Fugees? Roberta Black?)
    29) Shining Star (Earth, Wind, and Fire)
    30) Someday (Nickelback)
    31) Thank You (Jamelia)
    32) When I'm Gone (3 Doors Down)
    33) Why Can't I (Liz Phair)
    34) You're the One That I Want (from the Grease soundtrack)

Sometimes we let our 9-year-old be on the Easy level, and that helps him to do just as well as we do."Adjustable difficulty levels ensures that anyone can be a karaoke star," it says on the back of the box.And it's true.

Volume 3 has the option of singing a few songs as a duet. My husband and I would make the effort and go get another microphone, but the songs don't seem all that great, and the karaoke is satisfyingly entertaining already.

Volume 3 has a new hairstyle for one character, Dwayne. It's my husband's favorite. We call him the Mullet Man.And the facial expressions that the character makes is HILARIOUS while he sings! He's hilariously serious and all into the music.

OK one last thing I wanted to add.The microphone that can come with Volume 3 works just fine. It's durable (we've thrown it and stomped on it by accident a few times) and it works well.We don't have Volume 1 yet but I think that the microphone doesn't work with it, and instead you have to get a special headset.I will let you all know in a review about that as soon as possible.

5-0 out of 5 stars Incredibly Fun!!!
If you're still doubtful about buying this game due to negative reviews, read no more and Just Buy It. First of all Winning Eleven 8 can't possibly be compared with any Fifa edition. This game is exciting, fun, and most certainly realistic. Once you get control of a player, you can imagine it is you dribbling the ball and taking spectacular shots at goal at any angle you desire and however fast you want it to go. A great feature is that each player is given distinct and original skills. Pavel Nedved is unstoppable or if you like putting a bit of crazy speed, give the ball to Ronaldinho and even bust a "gambeta" here and there. I can continue writing all night long but then again you need time to pay for this game. One last thing, there is a bad aspect to it, it turns to be time consuming once your fully into it.

2-0 out of 5 stars The lack of licensing ruins it as always.
Like any other game in the sries winning eleven eight puts a strong emphasis on gameplay, and being a big fan of the sport i appreaciate that fact. But once again the lack of licensing brings the games presentation down along with visuals that cant compare to the fifa series. I have been buying both fifa and winning eleven 8 games side by side for a long time, and every year i enjoy fifa more. While i can understand why this game is said to be better then fifa and is pereffered by gamers it still doesnt work for a statistical buff like me who finds licensing to be an important part of ne soccer game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best game ever
This is the best soccer game ever; you cannot imagine how real and how exiting until you play it. If you love soccer, you will love this game. It gives you the latest updated information about the teams and the players. I strongly recommend this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best computer game ever written!!!
(TRUTH IN REVIEWING)I have been involved with computers and games since 1978.I wrote two pioneering games for the Apple II and the Mac, and then gave up on computer games around 1983.

Since then, I have really enjoyed Shogun and Roller Coaster Tycoon -- but briefly. This is the first game I have seen in YEARS which really has the power -- which really makes people want to play it!

Perhaps most important is the basic choice -- soccer (football for the rest of the non-Yank world!:-))Football is a really fun game which almost everyone enjoys!(I would never have bought a video game for basketball, just for an example, nor for American football...)

But the next most important thing is the excellence of the software implementation. And here, I must confess, my jaw drops.I have never seen anything in the software world done so well, or so thoroughly.

This game is so GOOD and so much FUN that it entirely justifies the price of the hardware (PS2) to run it on,just as Visicalc in the old days (at $150) justified the purchase of an entire Apple II system to run it on.

    It is that good!

Highest possible recommendation, and sore fingers!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Winning Eleven 8
I like most people I know struggled through the flaws in past FIFA series.I read reviews and kept hearing the name Winning Eleven and so I decided to go for it and bought Winning Eleven 7.The game was great but Winning Eleven 8 is even better.
    -Improved gameplay
    -Deeper Master League
-More Licensed Club Teams and Real Player Names

I own FIFA 2005 and Winning Eleven 8 is much better (except for the online gameplay).
The question is, should I buy Winning Eleven 8 or FIFA 2005?
The games are very different and one game might suit one person more than another but here are reasons to buy one or the other...

    FIFA 2005
-Online Play: This feature is great.Playing the computer can become rather boring after a while but being able to play anyone anywhere in the world at you ability is amazing.I played online for a while but became sick of other players using certain tricks or flaws in the game to win like scoring off every kickoff.
-Career Mode: This mode is very deep with every officially licensed league. The benefits is you can switch leagues and teams throughout your career (unlike WE8) but the computer is so predictable and easy to play against that I didn't have the patience to complete the first season.
-Graphics: The graphics are amazing with players, jerseys, and stadiums appearing like it was television.

    Winning Eleven 8
-Gameplay: The gameplay is amazing, it has improved from WE7 and the computer AI is much more difficult.A new 6 star difficulty is available to unlock and I don't see this game becoming too easy for anybody. The crowd's participation makes you sweat pushing for an equaliser or holding a one goal lead.Playing with two people is much better than FIFA 2005 with quicker game play and no cheap goals. You'll play for hours with a friend who is at the same skill as you.
-Graphics: Personally I think the graphics are almost as good as FIFA.The difference doesn't bother me except for the uniforms which are kind of plain on the unlicensed teams. The jerseys for unlicensed teams are the same colors but don't have logos or sponsors on them.
-Master League: It is even more advanced and has more features than WE7.Although their isn't license leagues and cups, it does replicate real soccer.Yes, Manchester United is in the game as for the top 100 or so European clubs including licensed Italian, Spanish, and Dutch leagues. Each league has a cup and there is a WEFA Championship (Champion's League) and WEFA Master's Cup (UEFA Cup). With all new Master League edit mode, you can change which teams are in what leagues and create a "Power League" which is very entertaining. All in all this feature is worth buying the game itself.

If you love European Football and know a little bit about the teams and their players, than Winning Eleven 8 is for you.If you like arcade style soccer, buy FIFA 2005.True soccer fans will love this game and the more people that buy it, the more licensed leagues will ensue in future versions of Winning Eleven, so buy it today! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars NBA Street V3
Soar above the rim and leave your mark as NBA Street V3 hits the pavement: 3-on-3, over-the-top, and larger than life. V3 builds on the game-proven, platinum-selling gameplay of the Street series with new tricks and high-flying dunks. All new Trick Stick and interactive Gamebreaker control elevates the game to new heights with unmistakable style and attitude. Featuring today's biggest NBA stars, a collection of the league's all-time greats, and a Hall of Fame cast of past Street characters, V3 is non-stop, fast-paced, action-packed, in-your-face fun. It's as simple as that. NBA Street V3 is packed with highly-detailed authentic street courts, deep player customization options, new Court Creator, and sick online play. Put your rep on the line in the ultimate proving ground: the street courts of NBA Street V3.

The best of the series by far, I would be surprised if there's a better arcade sports game released in 2005. From bouncing the ball off your opponent's noggin to draining a game-winning three, there is just so much opportunity to talk smack, to compete, and best of all, humiliate your friends by dunking on their heads, that I think this is a must-buy for gamers looking for a fun basketball game without having to worry about the differences between a Triangle and a Box formation. Throw in six controllers and go at it in a real three-on-three for even more laughs, more slams, and best of all, more smack.

EA doesn't need an exclusive license to be king of the NBA street court. Midway, you may be second-fiddle for the rest of eternity as NBA Street V3 is the best street game of this generation. The only weak point is the sound, but beyond that, every aspect of V3 crackles with energy and imagination. I am a little bummed that EA still hasn't done anything interesting with jump shots (give us a dozen different trick shots, please), making it all about the dunks. The new GameBreaker is a sick and sweet idea and after putting a few dozen games under my belt, I began coming up with my own custom GameBreaker dunks. The inclusion of the Beastie Boys is inspired, the ability to customize your own court and shoes well-executed, and every GameBreaker dunk a furious thunder of street attitude. It's great, go buy it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Basketball Game Out
NBA Street V3 has everything this year. The new Street Challenge is awesome, since you are able to build your own court. The dunk contest is unreal, because you are able to jump over anything. The gameplay is better to, but Bobbito needs a few more lines.May I suggest some ideas for the next version.

1-Use And 1 players against the NBA or against the NBA Street characters.

2-Use some of the old players from NBA Street, combine them together, and make a little challenge out of it, sort of like a new game mode.

OH YEAH, FOR THE DUDE THAT SAID TAKASHI IS NEW, HE IS OLD, REMEMBER, HE WAS ON THE FIRST NBA STREET, PLAYING ON THE ROOF.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Streetball game made so far!
Don't listen to anyone who gives this game bad reviews. It is awesome. Nothing about this game is bad, except for the fact Bobbito Garcia should change some of his lines. The Street Challenge or "Be a Legend" as in Vol.2 has been upgraded to the fullest. Vol.2's Be a Legend is about a 3.5/10 compared to V3. You can customize your character so much more,fine-tuning to every aspect of the face, even watches, and jewelery, to custom shoes. It has it all. Following that, you create your home court just the way you like it, you can even pick from about 35 cities. A new thing is that when you up ur stats, its out of 99, so it takes a while to boost your skills. You can still trade players to get better players after you beat a team and there are also new street legends. Stretch is back with oldies Bonafide, Dime, and Biggie Littles. Two new players to the game as Tacasie or something (he's chienese) and Phat. And for the people that think NBA Challenge is gone, its not, its just called NBAtreet League and thats also in Street Challenge. Besides the sweet Street Challenge there is a new dunk contest. Its pretty unreal, but loads of fun. You can use props and jump over them (Benches, Ladders, Trash bins, etc.), you can throw the ball up to yourself from a lot of crazy ways and angles, and when your in the air, you'll pull off the sickest dunks you've ever seen. The Gamebreaker must be one of the best parts of the game. Yes, the GB 2 is gone but this is alot better. You jump in the air and pull off the same dunks you would in a contest only you have teammates, so then you can throw the ball to them in mid-flight. You can even do a 3 man dunk show above the rim. You can get a best score of +4 and -1 to your opponents score. The lowest is +2 and -1. The better tricks you do, the better the score. Everything is new and better in this game, even the graphics which are brought to a new level with V3. So go out and buy the best streetball game you'll ever own (until maybe a Vol. 4 comes out) ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful!
As someone who doesn't feel comfortable enough working out around other people, this program is *perfect* for me. I love how I'm able to customize practically everything so it's tailored just for me. I'm down 13 pounds so far and I'm actually enjoying my daily workout routine, something I haven't been able to say in a long time.

If I could change anything, it would be this:

-Less downtime, Maya sometimes takes a good 5 - 15 seconds to 'find the beat' to get back into routine if I had to pause the program.
-The ability to increase/decrease the difficulty of a single exercise. When Maya asks how I did at the end of a section - where half the exercises were too hard and half were too easy - what do I say? I would like the ability to give a thumbs down to a specific exercise, basically saying dump that but keep everything else.

Over all, this is the best PS2 purchase I've made in a long time.

5-0 out of 5 stars Varied exercises - with some sloppy programming
This is a useful and fun way to exercise, but it does have some problems (asking you to use equipment you don't own, bad load times). I use it three times a week and would buy it again.

    Pros:
    - Measures your flexibility, upper body strength, lower body strength, core strength, and aerobic capacity to match the workout level to your body.
    - You can adjust the workout level for each category (flexibility, upper body strength, lower body strength, etc)
    - You see exercises being done so it helps with your form
    - Tutorials on each move
    - The workout has breaks, but they aren't too long or too short, usually.
    - You open up new areas and music by sticking to the exercise program.
    - Exercises chosen based on what equipment you have (step, dumbells, ball, or heart monitor)
    - There's a Yoga section for Yoga fun. It gives you about 15 minutes of Yoga at a time.
    - It has numerous meal plans based on how many calories you want to eat a day.
    - The variety of exercises is good, but not great.
    - Most of the exercises will work for woman and men, even though they are geared toward woman

    Cons:
    - The music is boring, and I doubt you will recognize any of it.
    - Sometimes she has you use a piece of equipment she knows you don't own! Example, she tells me to use a ball of free weights to exercise my biceps, even though I don't own a ball and she knows it!
    - The load times are disgustingly bad. If it changes songs during an exercise, then the game will come to a stop for several seconds. Then the woman will do one rep at an incredible speed you can't reproduce, then she will slow down to the regular speed.
    - The exercises are clearly geared toward women. She sometimes has me do bicep curls without weights for about a minute. I would get more exercise drinking a pint of beer. I'm not even sure many women would get anything out of this exercise.
    - Some of the stuff the woman says doesn't make sense. Example, "Get in your body." I wonder where she thought I was.
    - Sometimes there isn't enough variety to the exercise. It seems like she only has two or three exercises for each muscle group at a given intensity level. If you don't progress to the next level, you will see that exercise again. And again. And again. Realistically, you can expect to see some of the same exercises in every workout for at least a month.

5-0 out of 5 stars ...One order of crow, please...
I first saw this "game" in the console section of a store around the time I began considering that I needed to work out more. At the time, I actually laughed at it. I just couldn't believe that something like exercising to a game console was going to be any better than a video: What a waste of technology. I mean, exercise routines are all the same, right? Dull. Boring. Repetitive. Gimmicky. Painful in all the wrong ways. So, this had to be the same, right? What was this thing going to do that I couldn't get anywhere else?-besides a pixilated workout character who may not be all she's cracked up to be?

Well, after spending about another week passing up the usual exercise tapes and swallowing my pride to purchase this, I have had my question answered; and have been eating my words daily for the past two weeks.

Y!F is really almost addictive: The level of personalization and interaction in the game is really great for someone who is tired of being spoken at by a pre-recorded person on video. The workouts are very fun (and pretty painful, if you're not used to doing them--but in a good way!) and versatile. The extras (earning new music and backdrops; using extra equipment; meal plans; personal fitness tracking; fitness goal setting/customization; scheduling; etc.) really help you to get along to whatever fitness goals you may have, as well. Most of the exercises are easily adjusted for higher or lower impact depending on our ability...and of course, if you already do great on floor exercises, try it with the equipment and increase the difficulty and exercise time. You simply can't loose.

Maya, the personal trainer character is also very encouraging yet down to earth, which is great for someone like me, who usually equates exercise with annoying bouncy, bubbly video queens in pink spandex and legwarmers yelling at me to "Feel the BURN! Woooot!". In comparison to those types, Maya is much more realistic. The animation for her is pretty good during the workout sessions. If you pause, she will stretch, and walk around while waiting- she is never really still. Nor robotic, just like an actual person.

I like the fact that every day I log in to work out, I'm greeted and acknowledged. (and when I skip days that I've scheduled, that I'm acknowledged in having done that, too: commitment is good.) I have the option of choosing what kind of workout I would like to do, and then have the workout adjusted for me depending on my mood (which can be all over the place, and effecting most of what I do, especially things like working out) and how easy/difficult the workouts actually are once we get started. You can also adjust the time that you spend working out, which is good for those days when you don't have but 15 minutes, or when you think you could go for 1 hour or more.

Personally, my favorite part of this 'game' is the Meditation Garden. In this feature, you get about 15-20 minutes or so of yoga, also dynamically performed, like the rest of the workouts. The yoga is very useful for muscle aches from the regular workouts, and helps me to ease my pre-existing body pain. I would suggest that if you get this product, to use this feature at least once every other day. It's very enjoyable all on it own.

--and after two weeks of faithful application, I have been noticing marked improvements. I'm glad I got this instead of opting for another bland workout tape, or simply walking in the park once a week. It wouldn't have worked out for me at all. I've been down that road and back, many times in the past.

Y!F Has really helped me to enjoy exercising. I'm not perfect about it, but at least I feel like it's something I can do and enjoy for the challenge; and not something I'm doing in order to torture myself for the eventual, far off benefits. There are benefits, now, even this short into my long term goal of loosing weight.

I highly suggest this to folks who need to get out and move more, and/or to folks who are tired of the same old boring notion of exercise tapes. If you haven't seen the light, yet, you probably will begin to after giving this a try. Don't knock it till you've tried it.

    5 stars, hands down.

4-0 out of 5 stars Totally worth your time & money.
Okay, so I'm a bachelor with no kids who could stand to be in better shape, so I figure what the hell, let's try this thing out.Quite honestly, this is one of the best things I've bought in a long time, and for about $35, it's a really good deal.

In about two weeks, I've noticed some big improvements.I look better, I feel better, and I have more energy than I've had in a long time. What's really cool is the fact that I actually look forward to exercising with Maya.

The creators took great care to make Maya fun & accessible to as many people as possible, and I think they did a good job. She's pretty without looking too perfect, she's intelligent without sounding like a know it all, and she even has a bit of a sense of humor. The writers and voice-actress did a very good job of giving her personality.I find myself awaiting to tell her how I'm feeling, or what I want to work on for the day, and when she tells me how good I'm doing, I actually feel pretty proud of myself.Yes, I know it's just the computer program crunching the data I'm feeding into it, that she's not "real", but the illusion of working out with someone who is a pleasant trainer is really effective. It's basically gotten to the point to where I say I'm going to work out with Maya, instead of saying I'm going to put in the Yourself Fitness game.

All in all, I really needed something like this to help me out.I wasn't really disciplined enough to workout consistently by myself, nor did I know all the styles and methods to use to workout all the various muscles in my body properly.I really feel like I'm finally becoming the physically fit man I've always wanted to be, and for only about thirty bucks!I'm happy I bought this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Yourself Fitness is a fantastic program for health!
From the minute I met Maya, my new personal trainer I was hooked. Maya is a virtual fitness "person" who will help you meet your fitness goals.

The program begins with Maya greeting you and giving you a fitness assessment. Here you will input your height, weight and activity level and you will do a series of exercises; crunches, sit-ups, push-ups, and jumping jacks. Then you check your heart rate and input the information. Based on your level of fitness Maya will recommend an exercise program for you. She will tell you what you need to do and how many days a week you need to do it, to help you achieve your goals.

Maya will give you a selection of spaces to exercise in and ask what equipment you have. If you own a stepper, stability ball, weights and heart rate monitor, she will incorporate these into the workout. I would highly recommend adding all the equipment - especially the weights and heart rate monitor as these can really help you achieve your fitness goals.

After selecting your space (different virtual rooms with a different feel to each one) Maya begins your personalized program. During the workout she will ask you how you are feeling or you can at any time increase or decrease the intensity of the workout. At the bottom of the screen a scroll tells you what is coming up next in the workout ie squats, sidesteps, a stepper etc. You can also change the music selection - over 70 songs are available including hip hop, latin and 80's. The bottom also counts down the time of your workout - a fabulous feature.

Over time as you exercise, you will "unlock" treats from Maya like new workout spaces. Because she has so many "moves" your execise time with Maya will vary from one day to the next and keep your interest.

Maya also will hold you accountable. If you miss a day she will ask (nicely) where you were. As you exercise she will encourage you. Maya's voice is a beautiful, easy to listen to voice and you can lower or raise the volume of her voice and/or the music.
Maya herself is a buff looking brunette, it would have been nice if one could personalize their trainer's looks, and I will bet that's not to far down the road!

Maya also has a peaceful room where she will lead you in a nice yoga interlude. As you progress through the program Maya will help you adjust your goals and set new ones.

She will also set meal plans for you if desired.

I have to admit Maya has amazed me, besides kicking my booty in our exercise sessions. And the price point of $35 is so reasonable. Others love it too and there is an online community at www.yourselffitness.com devoted to discussions on this program.

    Highly recommended!

UPDATE: I had a question about the program and was very pleased with the Yourself!Fitness representative Caroline's fast response and helpfulness. Double delight - a great program with super customer service!

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Game EAbig has to offer!
This game is GREAT. I believe it is better than NFL Street and NBA Street. If you do not like soccer still try this game out and see how cool it is. I went to Vest Buy with my family and expected to buy some music and DVDs. But after trying this game out on the test systems, I could not get away it was so fun. So instead of buying DVDs and music I bought FIFA Street. It may seem confusing at first but I believe the fun of the game is trying things out, and learning how to win. SO GO BUY IT NOW!

1-0 out of 5 stars not as i hoped
some years ago, when i was a boy, my pappy bought me a dirt bike. over the years, i have been adding parts to it and now it goes over 120 mph. in this game, you cant customize your ride, you cant tell if it is used or new, and finallaly, there are only three (3) environments to ride around. and when you crash, there isnt a bloody mess where the rider used to be. not a best buy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great fun, a must for every SpongeBob fan!
I can say that again, a must for every SpongeBob fan.

With this Plug 'n Play TV Game, this thing comes with 5 games. Here is my rating on the games packed in one:

Bubble Pop - Like the classic Breakout game from Atari, with a SpongeBob twist, and lots of levels to complete. Rather than bricks it's bubbles! Wow!
    Rating: 5/5

Sandy's Surf Adventure: A resemblence of Defender and it's finest, and you get to play Sandy surfing on a clam shooting out acorns at henchmen.
    Rating: 4/5

Patrick and the Maze: Gauntlet calling, with Patrick as a main character in a coral maze, and finding friends along the way to try out little microgames!
    Rating: 4/5

Invasion of the Hooks: This is ok, but not the best out of the collection, when you first try it you might think it's fun but if you play it again later or the next day it probably gets boring, but still allright.
    Rating: 3/5

The Super Chum Bucket: A game that features Evil Plankton! On a mission to kidnap Sandy. It's up to SpongeBob to save her from the evil genius, Plankton! Reminds me of the arcade Nintendo game, Donkey Kong which debuted Mario!
    Rating: 5/5

Durability is a top standard which can stand rough playing.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Plug and Play...PERIOD!
My three year old son and I went through a plug and play phase where I basically bought every available plug and play system available. Well, I can tell you that the Spongebob plug and play is by far the best of these game systems. The games are challenging but not maddening and lots of fun. There are 5 games included on this little joystick:

    1. Spongebob's Bubble Pop (10/10): My personal favorite of the five games. Basically in the old Breakout/Archanoid game style but very fun and with 50 levels to complete!

    2. Super Chum Bucket (9/10): This is basically Donkey Kong featuring Spongebob and Plankton...but hey, Donkey Kong is a classic and this game is just as entertaining.

    3. Invasion of the Hooks: (4/10): This one is kind of lame. Sandy, Plankton and Patrick are hooked and Spongebob must save them by throwing Krabby Patties at the hooks...not much fun.

    4. Sandy's Surf Adventure (7/10): This one is a fun old school style shooter in the vein of Defender but with Sandy crusing through Bikini Bottom.

    5. Patrick and the Maze (7.5/10): Obviously a maze game but reminds me of Gauntlet. Patrick must unlock and find his friends...an entertaining game.

**A word about durability** - This plug and play has withstood some rough play (I also have a 16 month old) meaning slamming, banging and pulling of wires; yet it works everytime we turn it on. The batteries do need to be replaced every now and again for optimal performance.

So overall, if you or your kids love Spongebob or old school video games, this system is a must-own. Highly Recommended.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very cool!
I got it for Christmas, and it ROCKS! All the games are REALLY cool, and I'm becoming a master at it! My brother, Bobby Gelhar, and my sister, Katie Gelhar, love it! I think that it is really awesome, and is REALLY REALLY COOL! I WOULD BUY IT IF I WERE YOU!

4-0 out of 5 stars Not So Bad.....But FUN
This game is a joy to watch and play. If you are a fan of Spongebob or videogames you must own this game. If you are doing colectibles and would not like to play this game you will sooner or later be finding yourself playig it in about a month. It has 5 fun 'n' challenging games. My sister got it for Chritmas and I play it most of the time! It can probably break easely. But take my advice...buy this toy!! So It's Not So Bad...But FUN. And don't forget to watch Spongebob Sqarepants on Nickeloden!

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Time My Son Has With This TV Game
This is a lot fun, even I play it with my little guy. It's worth the small amount of money, certainly less money then Playstation!Worth every penny, highly recommend for everybody! An A+ ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Sly Yet!!
This is alot longer and more challenging than the first Sly. I was addicted after the first 5 minutes! In this game, Bently and Murray are actually in the game for you to play with! Stealth is more important and you actually get a chance to pick-pocket!

4-0 out of 5 stars Entertaining Sequel
I was under the impression that "Sly Cooper and the Thevious Racoonus" failed to find a niche, since it was a bit difficult for kids, and a bit too cartoonish for older gamers.Happily, I must have been wrong - "Sly 2" is as fun as the original, with some added dimensions that add to the entertainment value of the game. The game is more "open-ended" than the original. In each level, several missions are presented - usually a couple for each of the three controllable characters - and you can choose the order in which you tackle the missions. The use of 3 characters, each with his own strengths and weaknesses, is of course new, and in general it's an improvement, although it can be more difficult to get Murray and Bentley to certain places than may be necessary. The graphics are great - if anything, they're a slight improvement over the fine look of the original.
My only complaint about the game would be the repetitive nature of some missions. At times it in necessary to do the same thing 5 or 6 times, which can make the mission rather tedious. All in all though, Sly 2 is a worthy sequel that has apppeal for gamers of all ages.

Sly 2 just plain rocks. it completly beats the original. In Sly 2, you can not only be Sly Cooper, but you can also be Bentley and Murray (you could be Bently and Murray in the original, but you could only be Murray when racing for a treasure key and the only time you were Bently was when you hacked to shut down the toxic gas). Plus, you get MUCH more exploring space than Sly Cooper and the Thievius Racconus. One of the best things about the game is that you can steal much more stuff (you can pick gaurds' pocket's {don't worry, its hecka easy, you just have to not accidentally touch them} to score some coins and sometimes even find stuff you can sell, and even nab something really valuable from a small stand). Basiclly, this game rules and anyone who says otherwise is INSANE!!! ... Read more

    • EyeToy: AntiGrav is the first 3D character based EyeToy game that uses color-recognition technology to track body movement in an extreme racing environment, from the developers of Frequency, Amplitude and Karaoke Revolution.
    • The racers movements are processed to control steering, jumping, grinding, ducking, acceleration, braking, tricks, environmental interaction, and interface navigation.
    • EyeToy: AntiGrav features eight original characters with their own style and equipment, all part of the hoverboard scene.
    • Strap on your hoverboard and shred over diverse terrain through eight different levels, grinding on rails and taking flight to perform sick tricks, while interacting with the environment and original soundtrack.
    • Choose between different game modes or compete against your friend as you race alongside the ghost image of your friends best performance.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Future is NOW!!!
I just picked up Anti-Grav for the PS2/Eyetoy. Let me say that this title is an absolute must-buy for any fans of futuristic hover games (like WipeOut or Trickstyle) or if you like the Eyetoy. This is one of the most innovative games ever made for any system. Basically, you use your body to play the game. No controller at all. So you lean right to steer right, duck and jump in real life and the character mimicks your actions. It not only works as advertised, but is incredibly fun too. The experience is similar to that Sega skateboard game called Top Skater that was in the arcades a few years back. There have been many (unsuccessful) attemps to use alternate control schemes but have generally been bulky and not very response. This one actually works!

In terms of gameplay, you have a choice of at least 6 different characters, different boards/costumes, something like 5 levels and a whole bunch of tricks you can pull off. The graphics are good, nothing spectacular, but they work. The game is done by the same team that did Frequency so you can expect some trippy color trails and things like that. The sound track is fast and hard, lots of electronic, breakbeat infused metal, drum & bass, etc. Similar soundtrack to WipeOut. Just got the game today, so I can't say how long it is, but there seem to be extras and different modes to beat.

All in all, Anti-Grav is a welcome addition to my PS2 collection and I would recommend this game to any hardcore gamer looking for a more immersive experience. An hour on this game is actually a workout! I had to take a few breaks and managed to break a sweat! I wasn't too interested in the Eyetoy until I heard about this product. It truely utilizes the technology to do something innovative and it is well worth the $50 just to see for yourself what it is like.

4-0 out of 5 stars pretty fun game
Basically, if you want a game that gets you off your feet, this is the best thats out there. Its much better than EyeToy Play.Only drawback is that you need good lighting to play.

5-0 out of 5 stars for good and for awesome
This is a really awesome game.

The camera tracks your head and arms, causing the character on the screen to move his/her arms and lean and crouch and jump.
It is similar to the camera games found in museums but works much better because you can calibrate the camera to the correct height.

In order to play this game, you should be in a bright room (but not with the light behind you) and have good contrast against the wall. You may need a pair of red or brightly colored gloves or socks on your hands to help the camera track your arms and tell them apart from your head. If the lighting or contrast is not good your character may randomly wave its arms or jump when you put your hand up. Also you can not have anything moving behind you, and must have enough space behind the TV.

The game is about hoverboarding. There are four types of movement:
    1. Ground- you are on the ground and can pick up power-ups and fire your turbo
    2. Jump- you've gone off a ramp and can do tricks in the air to get points
    3. Rail- you stick to a rail, catch things with your arms that speed you up, and go under and over obstacles
    4. Flight- You fly through rings, probably the fastest way to travel

You can play as a race or to earn points, and you can unlock new levels after beating the newest one. Multiplayer is the same but taking turns and comparing scores.

It comes with an Eyetoy. If you want an Eyetoy I reccomend getting Antigrav.

Also you can get a decent workout out of this game.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Game - I want to buy it without the camera - HELP!
I already own the eye toy camera because it came with "Eye Toy Play".We had a chance to play Antigrav and it was a blast.I just want to buy the game but not the whole camera set again.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

1-0 out of 5 stars EyeTOY? I think not!
Eye Toy anti grav was possibly the worst game I have ever bought! There was some complete false advertising too. The commercials said you could walk around the house and outside and it would still follow you. It definitely doesnt do that! It does just about everything but that. It cahnns you out of 50 bucks it barely works without the right lighting, and can hardly follow your body movement. The first eyetoy and eye toy groove were much better, if you are looking for a good game buy one of those not eye toy anti grav. I sure wish i didn't ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Fun Fun Fun the first couple of times, but then...
Now believe me. This game was just pure fun the first couple of times of playing it. Especially with friends. Everything seemed to be perfect. The mic worked just fine and so did everything else. I just had a blast.
But after you beat the game it just seems to become a little less fun everytime you play it more. I mean the highest score you can get it 50,000. And I always want to beat that score but the problem is that is the highest score you can get. So I don't really have anything to look forward to anymore either. I have everything unlocked as well. So what now. Looks like I will have to wait for the 4th installment. Because I'm afraid that if I play this game a couple more times I will begin to hate it.
    Which will not be good.
So my final judgementis that this game is worth a rent. I mean you could buy it too but the fun factor will dissapear as soon as you have everything unlocked. But it is still good for parties.
Final Grade: C- (It's better than the second but still needs alot more improvements)

3-0 out of 5 stars MICROPHONE PROBLEMS
AS ONE OF THE EARLIER REVIEWS MENTIONED, THE SET I RECEIVED ONLY CAME WITH ONE MICROPHONE. IN ADDITION, AFTER A COUPLE OF DAYS OF USE, THE MICROPHONE KEPT CUTTING OUT. MY CURRENT EXPERIENCE WITH LOGITECH AND TARGET.COM TO REPLACE MY MIKE HAS BEEN LESS THAN SUCCESSFUL. I HAVE HEARD OTHERS HAVE HAD SIMILIAR MICROPHONE EXPERIENCES.

5-0 out of 5 stars My husband actually has to share his ps2 now!
I've never been interested in playing games on my husband's ps2 until he bought Karaoke Revolutions 2 & 3 for me.Along with a friend and my 2.5 year old daughter, we play this game for hours and have such a great time!
I can't wait for another KR to come out, and still need to purchase #1.
This game will actually improve your singing ability, give you hours of fun and laughter, and entertain your friends and family.
    :)

5-0 out of 5 stars I had a great experience
At first i saw the PS2 only for my little brother's action games, and I thought it was unfair that only he would have games, but when we got the Karaoke Revolution 3, we (my sister, my parents and me) felt that we could also use it too. I like it a lot because it has songs i love, it has classicals, and it has songs i've never heard. The best part is hearing everyone try to reach the tones and failing, it is something you can do with your family and friends because there is music for all ages and all genders.
I LOVED IT; AND SO DID MY FAMILY

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game, please update description!
Karaoke Revolution 3 is a great game and worth every penny! It's the best KR yet now that we can sing duets.Versions 2 and 1 are also wonderful and my favorites ever. But, there are 3 versions of version 3.One with no mic, one with a headset mic (which is too small for most adults and has a mic that doesn't always pick up your singing), and another version that comes with the handheld mic.GET THE ONE WITH THE HANDHELD!

If you want another Mic, additional handheld mics are available here on line.I've never seen them in a store, so you might as well get it at the same time.It will also work with any Logiteck headset USB mic or the headset mic that comes with SOCOM. (It will not work with the mic from the Japanese version -and the other way around- and it also will not work with the UK Singstar Mic.) ... Read more

    Product Description

You're Jak, a quiet hero in the making. Jak and sidekick Daxter are playing on Misty Island a wee bit close to a pit of Dark Eco. Daxter falls in and crawls out looking like a fused otter and weasel. The two visit the village's local wise man, the Green Sage, to transform him back. But the Magical Ports from one island to the other have shut down, and the only way to reach the more knowledgeable wise men that could help him is to embark on an adventure, of course. In every region there is a strange conspiracy around the concept of Eco that adds another layer to the game. Dark Eco is deadly, or at the very least, mystical and strange. Jak and Daxter's world is filled with all kinds of the mysterious element known as Eco. Green Eco gives life, and it's contained in chests and containers all across the many environments the pair encounters. Blue Eco provides energy, speed and opens doors, and Red and Yellow Eco provide energy and the ability to cast fireballs, too. Races, a collection of minigames, enemy chases and timed events are all part of the gameplay. ... Read more

that was a good game but please go back to makeing crash games.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty good...
Ok, I thought this game was pretty good. But hey, I was only eight when I got it. I've seen alot of people saying it stinks. Most of these people are allowed to Ratchet and Clank. I've never played it. I'll put it in specific terms: if you aren't allowed to play alot of T games, this game rocks.
    Pros: Awesome graphics
    Cons: Too short

1-0 out of 5 stars Boredom beyond our deepest nightmares...
...also known as Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legasy. This game is all about running around a silly free roaming 3D world while beating up repeative enemies you have seen 15646 billion times earlier and collecting tons of crap. I got this game a loooooong time ago. It was fun at first, but then came the titles that could exterminate this game: Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet2, Ratchet3, Jak II, Jak3, Sly Cooper, Sly2, The Urbz, Sonic Heroes... the list is long. Now lets talk about the game's features:

    Pros.
    Okay graphics.
    Cool scenery.
    Free-roaming action adventure.

    Cons.
    Crap voices.
    Insanely boring missions.
    Veeeryy repeative combat.
Only 3, count them THREE bosses!!!
    Soon gets annoying and frustrating.
    Sooooo easy.
    Very short.
    Zilch replay value.
    Jak is a MUTE!
Doesnt even compare to Crash Bandicoot.
    Stupid music.
Almost every mission involves some Eco boredom.
    Zoomer missions are frustrating.

Now see: 3 pros and... about... 13 cons.
That means this game is just a smelly good-for-nothing excuse of an game. I dont play this game anymore, it just collects dust while I entertain myself with REAL titles. They are too many to count so I wont count them.

    Graphics: 6.5
    Sound: 3.0
    Gameplay: 4.7
    Replay Value: 1.5
    Fun: 2.0
    Overall: 1.0

    Final Verdict:
    THIS GAME SUCKS!
Avoid it, run away from it, stay away from it, whatever, just do not, I repeat: DO NOT BUY IT!!!

2-0 out of 5 stars all about jak an daxter
I praise the good lord that I only rented this game for 7 nights. To be honest it didn't 4 nights. The game is toooo easy and simple. On top of that it is tooooo short. However it was fun for the short 4 nights that I had it. Naughty dog used to the good games like Crash Team Racing and Crash 2 my favorite out of the first three. But this junk errr game or game wanabee is just the example of how good companies can screw up BIG time. The one time I about it is the hoverbike but that is about it. So go out and get a real game like Spyro the dragon:Year of the Dragon which should be cheaper and better than this junk.

1-0 out of 5 stars Boring
This.. game... STUNK!!!!!!!! Do not play. The storyline is absolutely stupid. The missions arent even fun. Just dont play it. It's just a waste of time and money. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A Great Suprise
I bought this game for two reasons. One was the fact that I wanted a baseball game for my PS2 and the other is that it was only $20 compared to the two other new MLB games which are $40-$50.I thought that for the price the game would be okay for me (a brand new baseball fan *cough* *cough* NATIONALS)and it would be a good beginner. It was that and so much more.First of all let me say that the gameplay is amazing. There are some flaws with the baserunning (I have messed up sometimes because it is rather confusing) but overall the gameplay is great. The AI is rather intelligent but acts human at the same time because it is programmed to make mistakes sometimes. The game offers many different game modes including: franchise, gm career, home run derby, in your face, etc. These different modes will keep you going for hours. The commentary of the game with Joe Morgan is rather usual (which isn't bad) and it makes you feel like you are playing in a real baseball game.Overall for the price of the game, the great concepts and new features the game gets an A.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Game, Enough with EA Sports ALready
Listen, I love EA Sports games just as much as the next person, but when it comes to baseball games EA blows. MVP is so boring its ridiculous. The commentators are lame, the actual gameplay is so realistic that its annoying at times and can become unrealistic. I honestly don't get why everyone is so fascinated with EA. No matter how good another sports game might be, no one can ever admit that it is a better sports game than EA. If a game is good, its good: period!. Enough ranting, here is my review.

MLB 2k5 is a great baseball game, but not without its flaws. First off, it has much more replay-ability than MVP. This is one of those games where you really can play through a whole 162 game season. Pitching is really fun and challenging. I love it. The only thing that sucks is that there is a passed ball glitch in the game that can become frustrating, especially in close games. The difficulty levels are perfect and the commentators are the best: HANDS DOWN. Franchise mode is great and you can turn off certain aspects of the game, such as hitters eye, etc.THe graphics are way better than MVP and the ballparks are exact replicas of the real ones. Personally, i love turning double plays and making diving catches and it is just so much more fluid in this game than in MVP. Your supposed to have fun when you play a video game, not be frustrated.

NOw the cons: THe graphics can be a bit jumpy at times. Also, it is pretty hard to hit a pitch outside of the strikezone. The game does look kind of sluggish at times, but overall it's not enough to make you not like the game. Had the makers of this game slowed down a bit and worked out the kinks, there wouldn't be a discussion of which game is better.

IN closing, if you are looking for a really fun, realistic baseball game with great commentary and high replayability, then MLB 2k5 is your choice.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Baseball Game...Needs a Bit of Tuning
I just recently traded in MLB 2005 for this game. Am I nuts? No, I wanted a change of scenery.Mlb 2k5 gives me that change and more. But it lacks depth, or lacks anything at all, in certain areas, and I will be going over the pros and cons in this review.

    Pros:

Graphics are pretty good. The players look real and the stadium sweeps look absolutely realistic.

The addition of a game overview by Carl Ravich is both fun and sometimes annoying. It is nothing but a timetaker to let the game load, so you do nothing except listen to him drone the pitcher's stats. It depends on who you ask about this one.

John Miller and Joe Morgan are nothing short of fantastic. Their commentary is always right on, and almost never repeats itself. It actually sounds like these two are at the game your playing.

Menu accesibility is good. I can smoothly go from one menu to another without having to autosave or something

The Franchise has covered almost everything they needed to cover

There are many different options on how to hit, field, etc.

I like being able to control the runner or batter, like if you want a guy to steal. However, it is incredibly easy to steal in this mode. I started to run after the pitcher threw the ball, the catcher threw a strike, and I beat it standing up. ???

    Cons:

Franchise mode is not deep at all.If you set the computer to do your lineups, it plays two people as shortstop. How bizarre?

Batting interface kind of looks cheap. I don't like the look of the swing, or the way the running interface works. IT just feels kind of blah to me.

Fielding is completely random. You either make Ozzie Smith catches or throw to the wrong base or whatever.

The show-boat catches all look the same, and are an almost stupid addition.

    Pro/Con:

This last depends on whether you like getting football scores are not. The slam zone.Basically when the pitcher makes a bad pitch a target appears. You can move your aiming target over this target and enter slam zone. Then the camera zooms in on the ball, then you try to power up and jack a 600 footer out of there. But sometimes, I'll have the meter completely filled up and I'll pop the ball up. Strange.

Anyway, this game is mixed. Though I like it better than MVP. ITs your choice.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good , but not great.
This game was dissapointing because it had high expectations, but it isn't horrible. I don't like the pitching because it is pretty hard to get the two circles to get together, and the graphics are kind of choppy, but still good. The things that i do like are the home run derby's which have standard, score, Tag Team, and Team, the skybox is really cool where you get darts, pictures, air hockey, and much more, and i like the presentation a lot because it looks like you are watching a game on ESPN. Overall this is a good game, but I recommend MVP Baseball 2005.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very Realistic!
This game is realistic and fun to play.Even though pitching is harder that other baseball games, it is very fun to play with my son Ryan. The downside of the game is that they mixed up the numbers the players wear.I like the realistic sound effects. It feels like I'm actually at a baseball game.My son likes the season mode!I had to do some work on the Brewers because they mixed up some of the numbers and didn't have some players. It's still a lot of fun. ... First I would just like to say that those of you whom reviewed this game and put it down, said you would give 50$ to anyone that could understand it, I would just like to say that you're MORONS!
you must at least take the time to play it.
As for the graphics and whatnot, do you really think that a company would produce a game that could make games just like the ones on the market? Businesses would be...well...out of business.
You people need to think before you type!
As for those of us who liked it and aren't morons, Cheerio!

5-0 out of 5 stars This is a GAME DEVELOPMENT TOOL.NOT A GAME.
There seems to be A LOT of confusion as to what RPG Maker 2 is.Here's what it's not:It's not a game. You can't simply put the disc in your PS2 and start playing some magical adventure. It is in fact a Game development tool.Ya know? For making games. Then you can play them.
That being said, it's a VERY fun program to use.If you understand what RPG Maker 2 does, then by all means, you should try it.At least then you will find out with a minimal amount of investment if game development is for you or not. :-)

4-0 out of 5 stars This is a hard one..
Once I heard this game was coming out, I had to get it (as others said). I was hoping this game would be a little easier, but it is definetly a challenge. I bought it in the summer and therefore had a good amount of time to play it. However if you can not donate 2-5 hours a day, this games not for you. I now do not have nearly enough time to create an RPG, and therfore havent touched this game in months. This game is also VERY VERY challenging, Not many have mentioned how hard it is, but it takes a lot of thought. Good luck with this one.

There's been a lot of negativity brewing about this latest release in the DDR family, but with a much more accessible tracklist and some newer American hits (Move Your Feet, Planet Rock, Kids in America) as well as some forgotten DDR favorites, DDRMAX Extreme is definitely a good follow-up. It doesn't merit the criticism it has been receiving.

The gameplay is essentially the same, and with the addition of background dancers to choose from, players can not only beat levels to earn new songs, but they can also earn new dancers, as well as the different modes of gameplay (Party Mode, Endless Mode).

While the selection of songs might be more exciting than DDRMAX 2, the difficulty of levels is essentially less intimidating and more accessible to DDR beginners, save for naturally challenging tracks (Legend of Max, Drop Out, Maximizer). Hence, those players really seeking an EXTREME gameplay experience as the title suggests will be slightly disappointed.

Yet, as more songs are earned, players will have the opportunity to earn deft remixes of several of Extreme's hit songs (B4U, Higher, Drop Out, Tsugaru, Ecstasy).

In addition to the other PS2 releases in the same family, DDRMAX Extreme should a welcome component to anyone's collection.

2-0 out of 5 stars Uhhhhhhhhhh..... What Happened.
Many People (including myself.) love Dance Dance Revolution Alot!!! Some people go as far as to do nothing else but strut their stuff for this game. But DDR Extreme while tring to make a better game loses something very good. Long gone are the vertical scroll menus and are replaced with a supposedly easier menu. Konami made the menus easy for beginers, but experts will fumble around a while looking for a hard song. The color system for the songs are non existnt and you have to enter two or more menus to get to a song. This does make difficulty selection a bit easier because now you select the difficulty before the song. So those who didn't like double tapping the up and down arrows to select diffculty will be relived.
Oh yeah the songs are sometimes a level off when it comes to dif. a song that is 7 dif. will probally be a 6 or 8. The songs ARE NOT THAT GOOD!!! for every good song like Tusagaru (sorry for the misprint.) there are 10 song that are not good. Instead of party mode, they should have put more songs on there. My advice: wait until next year, Buy the Japanesse version if you have an import PS2, play at the arcade, or play last year's edition (which is probally the best version.)
Die hard fans and newbies will love it, the rest of us, just walk away slowly. Very, Very, Slowly!! (P.S. I'm Not a kid and no i'm am not a adult either.)

5-0 out of 5 stars The greatest game ever
I recommend this game for people who love to dance, are active and like music. You`ll enjoy either playing with a friend, starting a workout diary and much more! There`s some really cool songs like move your feet, y.m.c.a, and only you. Practice to master ddr. Keep cool, don`t jump around on the mat on fast songs, just practice one foot at a time like i did. You can also use the controller on 2 player but its best to use the mat.Maybe you could practice with the controller first to get the hang of the game. I hope you purchase this really cool game (don`t forget the mat!!!) and enjoy it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Video Game Series In History
An ultra fun video game that gives a good workout just seems too cool to be true, but there is a game that has those attributes:DDR, which is easily the best game ever made for sure!

Dance Dance Revolution Extreme and all the other DDR games out there are 2-D games with one major point:Dancing with your feet. You have a dance mat (or stage) where you tap your feet on the arrows planted on the mat, trying to step on the arrow labeled the same direction on the mat as the arrow that scrolls up the screen, trying to tap your feet on the arrow at the same time the scrolling arrow is inside the outlined arrow in the same direction. There are five (or six) ratings you can get for your accuracy:Marvelous (Not on a regular game), Perfect, Great, Good (Which should really be Average), Almost, and Boo.You want to get the first ratings I listed, and not an Almost or Boo, or else your dance gauge (Which kind of shows your health) will start to slip until it runs out and you lose a song.At the end of the song, you can receive an overall grade, depending on your overall accuracy, of either an E (Which you get for failing a song), a D (Which you get for surviving, but receiving a poor score), a C, a B, an A, an double A, or a triple A (Which you get for receiving a perfect score).

When you first get the game, you start with 44 songs, and you can unlock 26 more songs for a grand total of 70 songs. To unlock the hidden songs, you must clear songs about 5 to 10 times with at least a C rating.Once you win about 5 to 10 times, a new song is unlocked. The first song you can unlock is called Scorching Moon, and the last one you unlock is called The Legend Of Max.You can also unlock new dancers for dancing in the backround in songs without real music videos, but I never use characters (Having a character is optional).

The Party Mode, which is new for DDR Extreme, is a futuristic-style way to play video games, as you can dance with both hands and feet while seeing yourself dance, although you need the camera for PS2 to do so.Being able to play with both your hands and feet while watching yourself is genius, and must be extremely fun to do.The Hands And Feet Mode is likely the highlight of the Party Mode; the other games are too simple and easy.

Along the way, you can unlock two new modes:Mission Mode and Endless mode.In Mission Mode, you dance to different songs with an unusual task to win.Be careful about the visual tricks that are used in many of the songs in Mission Mode.In Endless Mode, you keep dancing until you fail with a randomly chosen character. The songs that you dance to are randomly selected. The problem with it is that I might end up with the ugliest character in the game to use:Rhythm, an ugly barbie girl that's hard to look at.

The Workout Mode in the game allows you to keep track of your fitness, and allows you to figure out what you should be doing to keep yourself healthy. If it's on, you'll see how healthy of a workout you got after you finish dancing to a song.Your score will be better if you play fast songs like Drop Out or either of the Paranoia remixes, so play those songs if you want to get fit quickly.

The training mode is a mode where you cannot unlock anything, but you can practice the different songs in the game without being stopped by failing and without the thrilling backgrounds.

Finally, I'll take you to the information mode, which gives info about all of the different songs in the game.It tells you if the song you're studying is from a previous DDR game or not, what you should try to do while dancing to the song, or what kind of music it is.According to it, plenty of songs from Dance Dance Revolution Konamix have been brought back, but only three songs have returned from DDRMAX2.

But why is this 2-D game that has the same goal over and over again so great?Well, there are certainly several reasons why:

    1. DDR Extreme has a total of 70 different types of songs to choose from. You can find the type of music that's best for you. From a typical energetic dance song (B4U), to a song that's easy to recognize (YMCA, Waiting For Tonight, Like A Virgin), to a jazzy song (On The Jazz, Funk Boogie), to a Japanese pop star song (Firefly, Pink Rose), to a supercharged song full of energy (Drop Out, I Feel...) to a song that combines a whole bunch of styles together (JaneJana, Do Me HIGEO Mix, Make It Better), to a theme song from a movie (Never Ending Story, Enter The Dragon) to even a classic song from previous generations of DDR (.59, Drop The Bomb), there's destined to be a song that you'll enjoy.
    2. The replay value to this game is incredible, since you can build up your mad skills from beginner to expert, trying to successfully receive all Perfects on songs. You won't want to stop!
    3. If you like video games, but you're out of shape, this is a game that can help knock off your weight and keep you fit.I've lost six pounds playing this game since November.I've never been very fat in my life, but I've suddenly started to love working out ever since I started playing this game.Awesome!

Then again, there are some downsides to this game, but minor downsides:

    1. The host of this game gets on your nerves easily.Fortunately, you can shut him off when you're dancing, but not when it's most annoying:When you fail a song. His quote, "W-w-what?" is super annoying, as when he speaks in Japanese.
    2. Our dance mat is very low quality. It has a huge tear in it, and it moves everywhere, while I get Boos out of nowhere. Then again, the problem with the metal stage is that the arrows are planted low in the mat, and it's harder to step on the arrows than with the mat.

Now, I'd love to grade the songs availible in this game in terms of how much I like their sound.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for all ages!
I'm a 46 year old mother of 4, and I got this game with two game pads for the primary purpose of 1) getting some exercise indoors without being bored out of my mind, and 2) having a fun game to play with my kids that involved more than sitting on the couch and pressing buttons.

On both accounts, DDR Extreme succeeds beautifully. It's easy to learn the basics using the tutorial, and the rating system makes it easy to find moves within my skill level as I get better.Since each song has several levels of difficulty, and the players don't have to be on the same setting, it's just as much fun playing with my eight year old as it is with my sixteen year old.

I invested in a pair of top quality DDR pads, with one inch thick foam inserts, so it's easy on the feet, even though my legs don't usually like high impact activities. In workout mode, you can set it to be low impact only, but I like the choreography better high impact.

DDR Extreme may be redundant if you have other DDR titles, but if you don't, you will be well pleased with the song list.I have an Eye Toy, and have tried the Eye Toy games, but they are just gravy. The dancing is the meat of the game. ... Read more
