It is so good I have to get a new one because I used it was so good i played it too many times it broke.

Not very good
This has pretty bad graphics. I don't know what that person was thinking when he said it has good graphics, the only good part is the intro. The gameplay is pretty easy but overall I wouldn't reccommend it to anyone.

This game totally cool and awesome
This game is fun and exciting you do missions which are challenging and fun for the whole family and if you are a first timer at this game it has training missions for you to get started for your family fun activiy.

Very Challenging!
I think that this game is one of the best games I have. It is so fun that I played it every day since I got it. It's hard, but I still keep trying every day. If anybody else has this game, I hope they think the same.

Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX uses a refined version of the gameengine found in the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. The modes,menu, and trick system are identical. The main difference is thatinstead of skating around, performing tricks, and collectingvideotapes, you're riding a bike, performing tricks, and collectingmagazine covers. To accommodate the physics of bicycle tricks, thelevel design is different from THPS. Some of the levels aregood, but most are relatively bland and aren't as clever as what we'veseen before. Despite this flaw, it is the best BMX game currently onthe market, but in the context of other extreme sports games it fallsshort. It's too similar to the original THPS and not as good asTHPS2.

Despite the fact that it's mostly derivative, the game has a fewoutstanding features. It contains lots of full-motion video sequences,albeit at the expense of load times. The real gem is the soundtrack,which is a nice mix of punk, electronica, hip-hop, and rock. It'sdefinitely one of the best video game soundtracks ever.

Pretty Darn Good
I haven't unlocked every level on this game yet, but from what I've unlocked so far I would say that this game is pretty darn good. I mean, who cares about the graphics? C'mon. I bought this game with some of my birthday money at GameStop. I couldn't wait to play it. As soon as I got home I jammed it in my console and started playing. I was hooked! I didn't like the first level, mostly because I had played it already in the THPS2 demo, but the next level, Construction Yard, was AWESOME! And to those people who say this game is easy, they must be sick in the head. This game constitutes a good challenge. Especially the level I'm on now. Can't wait to get to the next level. I'm gonna push myself...
Anyway, if you want to get this game I'd say go with that voice in your head and spend some cash. You won't be sorry. You can trust me.

The most addictive game I have ever played
I love this game, it is totally awsome. My best friend I stayed up untill 5:00am trying to beat the game. I thought the Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX was money well spent. I recomend to everyone that is looking for a fun and challengeing game to play. It is just like the first Tony Hawk game.

Blood splatters unacceptable and unnecessary!!
My 6 1/2 year old son was so excited about getting this game, he talked about it constantly while we waited for it to be delivered. But when he started playing it, he was so disturbed by the blood splatters, he left the game in tears. We have so enjoyed Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4, we assumed this product was comparable. Since when are blood splatters OK for "Everyone" (the game is rated E)??? Tony Hawk, you should be ashamed to offer this game to young children. My son ended up very disappointed, and my husband and I were outraged.

WORST GAME
This is the worst game ever. Who ever buys it is probably tricked because all you do is just walk around punching or kicking. Sure you can use bombs and stuff, but you can't be invisible like in the T.V. show or fly at all. Plus, the graphics are super weak and you can tell the creators just didn't have great ideas.

This is the worst game I've ever played! The graphics are poor and the controls are even worse. After making it to the third level I was sick of playing it. To make matters worse you can't save it anywhere. Don't waste your time or money with this game.

Batman Beyond review
I bought this game for two people.Myself and my nephew.Had I realized what kind of game it was I would have waited until it was a used game to buy it off them.While I love batman(I always have since I was a kid), this game like other games didn't do the charactor justice.A word of caution to those parents who are thinking of buying the game. There is no save feature!One of the nice thing about games today is you don't have to think about finishing the game in one day so you can cut your kids off at a certain level, like my nephew only gets certain amount of video game time. However, if you do want to finish the game in one day, it's going to take you a minimum of 2 hours to finish the game in one day.TWO STRAIGHT HOURS!And this was on easy mode. And that is after you spent so much time beforehand getting to know the game. The first level is easy as long as you have batarangs at then the second level can be tough and long.3rd level can be agonizing because you also need a lot of time to get through this level.The "4th level" is a long level.It's also the final level and the sad part was the Joker was easier to defeat than Ghoul was on the 3rd level.

The Best of the True Ridge Racer Titles
And I say true Ridge Racer because I actually like Rage Racer slightly better than this.R4 is the first RR game to have analog support, but what really makes this game is the excellent track design.Unlike Rage Racer and Gran Turismo, you don't earn money to upgrade your cars, you just unlock cars.That's its only flaw in my book.

Those who are complaining about the quality of the graphics...drive faster.

Trust me, You will be Surprised
When racing games were dominated by 'real' simulation Gran Turismo, I just couldn't enjoy first two Gran Turismo games except the fact that I do get to drive my car. That chemistry wasn't just there. When I picked up this gem, I was immediately sucked into it. The graphic was BETTER than first two Gran Turismo games and not to mention its story line. It's simple story, but they have managed to present the 'simple' story with special cutscenes with jazzy music, and believe me, this combination really adds alot to this game.

This game does offer variety with two types of racing and four racing team. Not only each team offers various difficulty, but also it offers different storylines. I have especially enjoyed night setting race course, with music which it brings out the essence of each course to its max. May be something's wrong with me for I just couldn't enjoy 'awesome' Gran Turismo games (third installment was very enjoyable)..you might say.. but this game was MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE than Gran Turismo, Don't miss it!

If Gran Turismo had been an arcade game first...
If Gran Turismo had been an arcade game first, R4 might just be what it would have been. Ridge Racer Type 4 returns the series to its less-realistic roots after the uneven (but decent,) Rage Racer, but still adds enough new stuff to make it stick out in the post-Gran Turismo world of racing games. Why does it stick out? Because it remembers not to be TOO real. See, if I want a truly "real" driving experience, that's what the cars parked outside are for. R4 remembers to be fun first, real second...but it's a close second. The physics of the game are tight, and the graphics are about as good as PS1 gets. The premise of racing for a team is a good story point (a point that most racing games skip altogether,) and also gives you a weird sense of responsibility when you win or lose a race. The car selection is both a good thing and a bad thing. The variety is outstanding, with dozens and dozens of different customizable designs, including some really neat hidden stuff. Unfortunately, the Gran Turismo effect has to be addressed here, as none of the cars are based on actual models. You can tell what a few of them are based on, but after Test Drive and Gran Turismo spoiled us all with real cars from the real manufacturers, generic stuff knocks a star off of this one. But other than that, it's a true gamer's game, and is a worthy substitute for GT when you're tired of sweating over getting a license just to get anywhere in the game. Plus, it's now a "Greatest Hits" title, and the price is very, very nice if you're not moving up from your PS1 for a while. A keeper.

An entertaining speedy racing game, but familiar.
Graphics: 8/10 - Ridge Racer Type 4 is plausible in this area. The car designs are fantastic and the roads are clear and well-crafted.

Sound: 9/10 - Fantastic! Not too much of this comes from the cars themselves, but the groovy soundtrack, great commentator and crashing sounds give this baby a boost!

Value: 7/10 - A fun car racing game that lasts a long time and challenges you to do better. But in this genre, we have seen games done better and you might want to go off and play them instead.

Overall: 8/10 - What can I say? I thought this was a blast. It was fun, energetic and speedy. A good instalment to the Ridge Racer series. The cars were brilliant and the Great Gran Prix is the best part. However, Ridge Racer Type 4 loses points because it is simply too much like Gran Turismo and you might tire of its same-old routine. The best-playing game for the playstation

fun...for about a day...
...The game itself is basically a fighting game, although somewhat different from the norm..It's built around picking up items and throwing them at your opponent.There are also the standard kick/punch and a simple "kick kick punch" combo that can be employed, although they're really only useful for making your opponent drop whatever it is they're going to throw at you since the kick/punch attacks do very little damage themselves.You can also catch some of the things your opponent throws at you, although it's usually nearly impossible to do (as is dodging items since they pretty much lock onto you and nail you even if you try to jump out of the way).The gameplay is also spiced up with chemical-x bottles..There are normally 3 around at once..Hit your opponent with something to make them drop one of their bottles..If you get hit, you drop one...If you manage to collect all 3, you're given the chance to use a super power (which are wildly uneven, from Sedusa's barely damaging slime attack to the Powerpuff Girls' eye lasers that can suck away half of their opponent's life bar)...In the end, the gameplay boils down to a simple matter of "hit the other person with something before they can hit you"..

The graphics, presented in an overhead 3D adventure-type view of the battle arena, are fairly good.The intro movie is excellent.Powerpuff Girls fans will especially enjoy seeing the show's intro in 3D animation..Overall, things are nice and colorful and do a good job of creating an atmosphere similar to the show..The sound is also good, although some more soundbytes from the characters or the show would have been nice.

The controls are fairly simple, albeit somewhat sluggish.In fact, my first impression with the game was that it was quite slow.However, as you get into the game a little more, the pace seems to be just about right for the gameplay style...Still, it can be a bit tedious at times...

As for difficulty and longevity..There are several villains and arenas to unlock by playing through the story mode with each Powerpuff Girl.These can also be unlocked with passwords that can be found online.Normally, the ability to unlock secrets would add to the longevity of the game, but there aren't many villains to defeat, and the game can be finished fairly quickly...I beat this game and unlocked all of the secrets the first night I played it...That's not to say it's easy...it's actually fairly difficult even on "easy" mode, probably to the point that it would frustrate some of the younger fans of the show.However, with so few battles to win, it becomes a matter of persistance rather than skill...fighting each villain over and over until you defeat them.After you beat the game, there's not much point to doing it again.Then it comes down to the simulator mode, a one or two player single battle game that becomes very tedious after about a day.In other words, it's very likely to become one of those games that sits on a shelf indefinitely after playing it for a day or two...

Well, the bottom line is that it's fun for a while.It's definitely not an outstanding game.It IS somewhat violent..but those of you complaining about the violence might want to try watching an actual episode of the cartoon..If you're a big fan of the Powerpuff Girls, it's probably worth buying just to dust off every once in a while, watch the intro movie, and play a bit..For anyone else, I'd say it deserves a rental, but you'll find that even the rental period will probably outlast the enjoyment you'll get from the game...

Not What I Was Hoping For
I'm a totally obsessed Powerpuff Girls fan. I read the comics, buy the DVDs, and have the fashion accessories.So I decided to get this game.There aren't many "girly" games out there for a girl such as myself to buy... and this is one I shouldn't have bought.

The characters in this game move extremely slow.It makes it difficult and frustrating to play this game.I may not be an obsessive gamer, but I am 18 and have the necessary motor skills to play a freaking video game!So obviously there is something wrong with the game.I wish I had read everyone's online reviews before getting this game, because I would not have gotten it if I had.I would recommend getting anything from the Spyro series if you're looking to play a cute, fun game. You can actually get somewhere with those! Also, Hello Kitty's Cube Frenzy is a cute game for girls.

Too Stupid and Violent to Bear!!!
My sister and I are big fans of the PPGs. So we thought that the PS1 game looked cool. But, when we brought it home and started playing, we had a huge dissapointment. The beginning is just like the start of the show, but when you start playing the game, it is totaly VIOLENT!! The only object of the game is to beat up the villain that you are pitted against. You throw things at eachother and use violent moves on eachother. My sister had to stop playing at level 5 because the villain was getting too violent and her fingers were hurting from all the action! An arcade classic gets a makeover
At the end of the nineties, a new fad in the video game industry started - remaking arcade classics for modern audiences. Though this idea seemed odd, it had some pretty good results. One of the first games to get a makeover was the classic Asteroids. How does this new version of the game measure up? Read on and you shall find out!

PROS:
-Obviously, the graphics have been given a total makeover - and all for the better.
-Unlike the original arcade game, you have your choice of three different ships in this game! Each ship has different stats.
-There is a fourth, hidden ship.
-Hidden somewhere in the game is the original Asteroids arcade game!
-You can get power-ups for your craft. These serve a variety of different functions, making this game very entertaining.
-There are a variety of locales. You start out in deep space, but will find yourself in other interesting places, like at the entrance to a black hole, and on a huge asteroid!
-Asteroids aren't the only targets this time around. There are aliens, satellite pieces, and all kinds of new obstacles.
-The game, though it has several improvements, maintains the original's simplistic control scheme.

CONS:
-Even though this is a good makeover, this kind of game is severely dated.
-You won't like this game if you didn't like the original version.
-This game IS NOT for everybody. If the game gives you a bad first impression, you probably won't be willing to give it a chance.
-There is not enough variety. The game is basically the same turn, teleport, boost, and shoot formula the original used.

OVERALL:
If you liked the original version of Asteroids, there's a good chance you'll enjoy this update of the classic. If you didn't like the original, you're not going to like this. Ultimately we have a pretty good game here, but it's not for everyone.

Unworthy Revamp
Right here goes... The graphics, although jazzed up a little, are still hardly pushing the PS to it's limits. Even a Megadrive could (and did - Star Control) do a much better effort. Secondly, there are 60 levels in the game, most of which can be cleared of asteroids in seconds, and the background changes after each 15 levels. Again, hardly pushing the machine there really considering that the 4 background images are very uninspired. I cleared the game on my first play! At least the origional game went on into infinity (I presume.) Lastly, although the new weopans are pretty cool, they don't appear randomly - ie: on the first ten levels you get mines, next ten levels you get homing missiles, next ten you get smart bombs etc. This aspect takes a lot of the fun out of happening upon something interesting early on.

Oh, and the two player mode is as fun as a bout of ... in a space suit. Co-operative play only!! There isn't even a mode where you can fight your mates...

I know it's cheap, but it's a 'three-games-and-it's-gathering-dust' title I'm afraid. Why doesn't someone release Star Control for the PS?? Now that was great fun.

Fun for all people!
Asteroids has great graffics and 3 ships to choose from. Now there is many new kinds of asteroids. ( Like crystal asteroids, alien astoriods, or ancient energy asteroids. There is also other cool stuff like space debris and comets. ) You can also get power-ups that recharge your shields, power-up your laser, let you set mines, and 13 other things. You can play with 2 people. The only thing a hate is that when you save your game it saves the zone not the level. ( There are 5 zones with at least 10 levels each. ) If you are wanting to play the classic asteriods all you have to do is find an object from that game and fire at it. This will unlock it.

Yep, I'm still an Asteroids addict!
I was a master of the original Asteroids. And I found this Playstation version very challenging. I've finally mastered the Expert level, and I'm intimidated about trying the Hardcore level. Excellent graphics, sound, andoptions. If you were a fellow-addict, you will LOVE this game. If you neverplayed Asteroids--this game is for those people who love to shoot-em-up andrack up the points.Best played with Dual shock controllers. ENJOY!

Blast!!!
Sammy Sosa High Heat Baseball 2001 is a BLAST, literally.It has splendid graphics and when it comes to gameplay it is very lifelike.I got this game and quit playing it for a month because I couldn't hit off the pitcher.If you want a game that is life like and chalenging then this game is for you.It is hard to get into the groove and controls of the game at first because there are so many controls, but if you get the hang of it then you can't put it down.Since I have picked it up and tried to play it (2 months ago) I could not put it down.I think that they make the CPU (computer) a little too hard to beat but if you practise then you can beat them.I beat the CPU 45% of the time.Also if you are having troubble then try this and if it works spread the word because I just found this out 2 weeks ago: 1. Choose the Angles 2. give the closer 100% fastball and 1 other pitcher on your team 3. take the other pitcher that you have given the 100% fastball and throw a few fastballs and see their speed 4. Bring out the closer and throw his fastball a couple of times too 5. compare the speedsThe normal pither's fastball sould be 98MPH and the closer's sould be 102MPH.If you look in the editing screen it will say that the closer has more throwing stength/pitching power than normal pitchers.
So if you are going to turn down this game because it is hard then just try what I said and practise. ALOT

Super Game!
Sammy Sosa High Heat Baseball 2001 is a very good game. It is very fun and enjoyable. The graphics are not the greatest but who cares? When you are having fun playing it you kinda forget about the graphics. The gameplay is awesome and I also like how it hasa boxscore after every single game in the season for every team! If you like baseball I would fully recommend this game. High Heat hits a grand slam!

Let me begin by saying that I have never given a product a 5 star rating.People abuse the star system.You have to rate a product as compared to the best of it's kind.To date, High Heat Baseball 2001 is the best baseball game I have ever encountered.I had to cut a half star for a few flaws that the game has, as does every game.The game graphics are decent.One of the main problems is when a team executes a sacrifice fly.The ball can be hit to the shallow outfield with a legitimate chance of a play at the plate.You try to throw to the plate and it goes to the cutoff man EVERY time, allowing the run to score.It it too easy to steal bases.Roger Cedeno has 85 SB in less than half a season.Enough said.Sometimes when you hit a ball to the wall, it looks as if the ball went over the fence, but wait, the outfielder miraculously catches the ball without a jump over the fence, making the gameplay LOOKsomewhat shady.The commentary is horrible.With the combination of the commentary and the difficult gameplay the first time you play it, I thought it was going to be a flop.However, I got better at the game and got use to the commentary.Enough about the negative.The realistic feel of the gameplay is enough to overpower the bad and then some.All of the statistics are realistic.No player hits 95 homeruns with 215 RBI's in a season.(See Triple Play 2001).The fielding action is the best ever, along with the pitcher/batter interface.You can actually tell if it's going to be a ball or a strike, unlike that of the competitors.Another important factor that makes HH 2001 my first selection is the competitiveness of the AI.You actually get beat just like all of the teams in the pros.My winning percentage is right at .580, completely realistic.This game did not get the credit it deserved because 3DOis not in the spotlight.TP and MLB series are the mainstream games, and also the worst and most overrated baseball games I have ever played.If you want realistic gameplay and some competitive AI, go with the HH 2001.I just purchased a PS2.With all of the great games already out for the playstation 2, I can't seem to pry myself from the awesome HH 2001.Can't wait for HH 2002 for the PS2.

Not Much Better Than TP 2001
After the failure of Triple Play 2001, I got this game, hoping it would be better.It wasn't.The graphics are lackluster, and if you don't concentrate on every single pitch, the other team will most likely hit a home run.Also, when a fielder has the ball, he throws it to the first baseman instead of the pitcher.That's one thing they really need to fix.

Brains over Beauty
High Heat 2001 comes up short in a lot of ways (graphics, sound) but it's fast-paced (unlike MLB 2001) and realistic (unlike Triple Play 2001). If only the three could get together. A feature I liked about the PC versionwas the ability to chose your field no matter what team you were playingwith (i.e. the Whitesox in Enron). Great for a collection
I collect rare PS one games as a hobby, and this game was on ebay when I bought it, I've never heard of it, so I tried it out. Compared to a lot of rare games (so many of them suck) this is original and creative and fun. very enjoyable. Often funny. Graphics are okay, camera angles just about piss me off sometimes. i would definitely get this game if you are a ps one game collector.

Different...
Tail of the sun is a unique gaming experience. Not much to look at graphically, but a HUGE world to explore. While this HUGE world is inviting, there is little point to exploration other than to find the 8 or so different animals to kill. Evolving your tribe is little more than killing an animal. No contact with the other tribe members unless you die and need to pick a new one or they do that funny little dance when you have village upgrade. The only changes during the game is your fist becomes a stick, then a axe, then a spear, WOW.You do find aliens(which you can kill), a giant nose, a huge bone, a few ruins, and caves. But the camera angles are soo terrible you get trapped in a cave and cant find your way out. Your person will fall asleep at a moments notice which is funny but stupid too.A intersting foray for a few hours, it took about 6 hours to beat on the medium setting. Which may seem short but if it lasted longer it would be too long to take. Anyways enjoy if you like deep exploration with curious but useless results.

The BEST video game ever
What can i say about Tail of the sun? It is the most original game I have ever played. The object of the game is to kill mammoths and collect their tusks to build a tower to the sun. You dont have to do this though, actually, it is alotmore fun to just run around from island to island killing, eating, sleeping and exploring. I cant really explain this game in words too easily. If you like original games, this game is a MUST!

Ok this is not best looking game in the world or the best playing, but it certainly is my favorite.I wouldnt really even classify this as a game, but for lack of a better work i will.The game calls itself "Wild, Pure, Simple Life", and that is just what it is. As a member of a cave man tribe, you run around a huge world helping your village survive and prosper.Most of you will pop it in and give it five minutes and never touch it again, but after playing for an hour i was hooked and cant live without it now.The exploration actually relaxes me and i am sure it will for most people too.It is like going on a long walk (but you discover all kinds of neat stuff like aliens, caves, lost cities, etc...) The soundtrack is really mellow.i guess it is kind of a mix between tribal music and techno.I was totally into the game and got all excited when i got a "cultural level up" which gives you new weapons and better huts and stuff.And when i got enought tribe members and they all came out and danced for me, i was laughing so hard!!Just give this game a chance and i promise you wont be disappointed! ... Good game for hours of fun
Destruction Derby 2 is a game for all you racing-destruction game lovers.You race for points by hitting opponents,regular stock car races, and the classic demolition derby.With four demolition arenas for hours of fun just on that.It needs more cars to choose from and to customize your cars but otherwise it is fun.When i bought my playstation it looked fun and it was my favorite out of 5 games.I would recremend it to all you crash bound racers.

Not near as fun as the origional
Let's see, in this game, #1. no multi player #2. no hidden cars, this was the appeal of the first game in my opinion. Don't waste your money, even if you find it used, like I did. Buy the origional, cause this one should have been cancelled before it ever hit the production line. Enough said ~!

Cool game- Not real enough...
i like this game alot, the only thing i dont like about it is that it doesnt really look like a real car, and in most real derby's the cars do go out so easily, so they should either make it better, or drop the wholeseries.

Super Duper Toy
This toy is FABULOUSSSSSSSSSSSS it is AMAZZZINNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG. but be careful dialing the help numbers as we dialed it wrong and talked to someone in rapid Espanol. it was cool. he hates us now. with a passion. but now, back to the game. it is amazing and full of education. i would recommend that it be given to every child on the earth, and maybe even president bush because it teaches you how to say things correctly. THIS GAME ROCKS PLAYSTATION!
First of all GEX is an awesome game but it came out in 1995 by Crystal Dynamics but its one of my top five playstation favorite games though.Buy this title if my review helped you goodbye.

One of the best playstation games I ever played
For my birthday I got all three gex games. I got gex which is this game, Gex: Enter the gecko, and Gex3: Deep cover gecko. I decided to play this game first. And I loved it, this game might be old but it is fun and interesting. Well, not as fun as Gex: Enter the gecko. Oh yeah and also this game is not a 3D game like Gex2 and 3, it is a side scrolling game. For now I only went up to the cartoon world. This game is about a gecko named gex and he has been sucked into the media dimension. Rez a robot that is in the media dimension decided to suck gex in his own t.v. What u have to do is u have to kill t.v. by collecting all the remotes in the game. And also while u play this game u will hear funny one-liners from gex, some of them have bad words in it, but thats ok.I have a five year old brother and even he loves this game.This game is good for the whole family. Too much money!!!
I love the Wild Thornberrys, but this game didn't do it justice.I bought it for my six-year old daughter and she didn't like it.Once you get into a stage, it doesn't let you out of it.Neither the start or select button can take you out of there.Maybe we should play around with it some more, but we got so frustrated we just switched over to the Tarzan game.Now that game is awesome!The Wild Thornberry game is too, too expensive.Save your money and with half the money you can get Tarzan---Now that's a game! It seems that Activision (made Tarzan and Spiderman) makes really great games.Sorry Mattel.

Thornberrys... Great for young gamers
This is a great game for the young (age 6) gamer and parents too.My 6 year old son received this with his PSOne for Christmas.He loves the television show and the tv show voices help make the game more interesting.The levels are challenging yet do not frustrate him like other PS games intended for young audiences.I enjoy playing with him and helping him get through some of the more challenging mazes.Thornberrys make for a great evening of entertainment for the whole family.

Sheep hits the Playstation screen!!
Im Selling this game, and I like it, but I don't like a race 'hurry up before time runs out' game. So thats why I gave it a 4-star rating. You can pick from 4 herders and ya gotta herd the little sheepies in the pen before time runs out. I'm on level 2. I don't like the part if they get hurt or drown.

I just purchased this game, and I am satisfied with it! There are 4 sheep herders (a girl, a guy, 2 dogs) and 4 different flocks of sheep each with their own qualities. There is also a play round, practice round, and 2 player round! I thought this game was one of the cutest games! The little sheep are adorable, and the enviroment is well detailed. This game had very good graphics, so there was no problem with that. The only problem that I had was that when you beat a level with one flock of sheep, you have to pick another flock for the next level, not the same one each time. Overall I would highly recommend this game for a fun and funny time! :)

Yeah baby, Hardcore XXX Sheep Action!
Being a kiwi lad I had to get this game.It is a different take on the lemmings idea, one which works well, but needs more depth in this modern era.Great for small doses of humour, but it needed a decent PSX conversion.The bloody brutallity as you sheep stupidly (or even activily) get ground, crushed or squashed manages to be funny, and gives you an empathy with the poor woolly ones.If it had a make-over and facelift it would be a classic, as is it's worth buying 2nd hand or renting for a week.

There are 4 different sheep herders, they are better at being scary/shouting/running/etc;4 different sheep breeds, with slight differences again, and a load of wacky levels.Also you can play two-player "Sheep Soccer", bizzare indeed...especially when you consider that the most infamous sheep farming countries (Scotland, NZ, Australia) all play rugby?!

Best game ever
This game is the best game I ever played. The characters say the most funniest things. The vehicles are so cool that I would want a vehicle just like it. The racetracks are weird and fun. Great for racing and Looney Tunes fans
I was a little skeptical about "Looney Tunes Racing" before I played it because most of the other Looney Tunes video games I've ever played weren't all that great.But "Looney Tunes Racing" is a different story.A lot of the well known Looney Tunes from Bugs Bunny to Wile E. Coyote are here in this fun 1 or 2-player racing game.In the 1-player mode, you can win 3 different trophies by coming in 1st place overall in that world by racing against other Looney Tunes racers.The more races you win, the more secret tracks and secret characters that will be unlocked and will become playable.In 2-player mode you can choose any track to race against someone else in and then choose how many laps you have to go around the track, whether it's 3, 5, or 7.There's also a 2-player Battle Mode in case you want to defeat your opponent in another way other than by winning a race.

One of the last titles for the PS1
as a long-time Playstation gamer, I'm glad to see that there's still an offering on the PS1 for Madden Football. Personally, I find the gameplay alot more fun on the old system. The PS2 tends to have the AI intercept one's passing attempts quite frequently. The downside of this is mainly that there's no gameplay improvement over the last couple of years. it's mainly attractive to those who want a more accurate roster.

This game is not very good and makes a poor transition from the old PC days with the blue bricks and red villains to the Playstation console.The gameplay is the same, but the controls are terrible and do not react quickly.The graphics have been improved, but without smooth gameplay and unless you are a die hard Lode Runner fan with patience, this game is not worth the time nor the money.

This game is horrible don't buy it.
Well one day I was on the internet and I found this game. I read the reviews, it didn't do very good. But I wanted to buy it and my mom wouldn't let me because she thought it didn't sound like it did very good. Then, she gave in. So I ordered the game I waited like a week and a half. I finally got it. It SUCKED!!!!!!!!. And now I can't return it and get my money back so that sucked too. Plus it didn't have intructions or it's original packaging. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!.

Grate Game
This is a good game i have had a lot of fun playing it, after i figured out how the controler configuration worked . The save game boton that the game review said it did`ent have, there is a way to get around it . The game has a screen saver after 5 minnits the screen saver comes on(and this can be ajusted ) . I have left the game on and set it aside and came back later and started were i left off.

fun...but frustrating
I bought this game quite a while ago, but I hadn't spent much time playing with it--I tried it once, but I wasn't able to easily figure out how the game worked and the manual is lacking in several areas.Now that I've spent a couple of days poking at it...

There are two really major problems with the game: you can't save incomplete games, and a really obnoxious lockup problem, at least on my PS2.

The inability to save in-progress games is understandable--it would be a challenge to get even a single map to fit on a memory card.128K isn't much room for this sort of game.

The lockup problem happens randomly when I'm in one of the menus. It's happened three times in a row after I've spent an hour or two building a really complex rail network (in one of the Australian scenarios), and thanks to the lack of a save feature that means all the work I've done is lost.Admittedly it may be PS2-related, but it would be the first PS2-specific game problem I've run into (and I've tried at least 50 old PlayStation games on it).

The interface is poorly implemented, which added to my initial frustration with trying to learn the game.It takes a long time to become comfortable navigating the menus with the joypad... what it really needs is a mouse.The most noticeable issue is that the pad behavior is inconsistent. In some screens the pad moves the cursor around the screen, but in other screens it performs other functions like highlighting buttons even though the cursor is still on the screen.(I could go on for hours about other problems with the controls, but I won't bother...)

Other people have mentioned graphics and text issues, but I haven't found these to be major issues.I suspect the text would be hard to read on a small TV, and the font they used isn't that good.The graphics aren't super, but they aren't horrible either--they're adequate.No music?That's a feature!

Once I got over the initial "how does this work?" part Railroad Tycoon II turned out to be a really fun game; it ranks up there with SimCity or any of the other classic simulation games.But the Playstation version just wasn't a good idea, especially with the lack of a save feature; I'll be playing the Linux version instead.

railroad tycoon 2 - better than alternatives?
railroad tycoon is a great game, if a bit slow (graphics wise). It can help bridge those time periods where you just have nothing to do. The game speed can be speeded up or slowed down which can help you achieve targets quicker. However, some scenarios can take over 2 hours to complete as you have to continually expand your network of railroads. This is perfectly fine if you are not working by a clock, but if you have a time limit of under 2 hours, then the scenario is impossible to cvomplete because it is impossible to save a scenario half way through. you can therefore not save all your hard work and the moment you switch off your machine you lose it. Take 2 games say that it is just one of those things which had to be left out of the title due to its format.? If you are looking for a time bridging game in which you can build an empire and make money railroad tycoon 2 is indeed a great game, just not for what it is intended to be.
