This game is great But you must play it The first version Buster andBeanstalk
For pc game ones you play that one you will understand that the second game with whole Beanstalk Was maid from pisses And glued with with junk so is wont fell apart the reason is they just repair it the tree so they do not haw to bay different one.

1-0 out of 5 stars Listen to the people
I'm sorry I bought this game. I finished the game in 5 minutes.
Not funny at all. Too easy puzzles. AND most of all you die too fast. First time I played this game it was hard to learn the controlles, once I figured them out it was as easy as slam dunking on a 1 ft. basket ball goal.

I really thought this game was fun and quite imaginitive.

3-0 out of 5 stars Understanding
I agree with all of you who are knocking this and other Playstation Tiny Toons games. Heh, I f you want to yell at anyone, yell at Warner Bros. They always had a problem when it came to ages with this show. Not just with the characters themselves (being 11-13 and being put in situations that 5-8 year olds would be in) but their aim at the target audience (with merchandise) was always way off. ... Editorial Review

The futuristic racing series Wipeout has lost some of its steam with this third entry--but Wipeout 3 is still worth a look and a listen. This fast-action franchise has frequently been characterized as being more about style than substance. While we don't necessarily agree with that analysis, it is true that Wipeout 3 can overwhelm the senses with an amazing amount of eye and ear candy. The graphics are simply stunning, while the techno-charged soundtrack boasts some of the top names in electronica, including Chemical Brothers, Underworld, and Orbital.

Pulsating rhythms aside, Wipeout 3 offers players a wild ride through eight distinct tracks. It will take more than perpetual motion to make it to the end of each race. In order to complete each timed race, gamers are required to hit strategically placed power ups while navigating many near-impossible turns. The heart-racing action offers a tough challenge for dedicated games, but Wipeout 3 ultimately does not offer any significant improvement over earlier titles in the acclaimed series. --Brett Atwood

Pros:

  • Fast-action gameplay
  • Contemporary soundtrack
Cons:
  • No significant improvement over previous Wipeout titles

5-0 out of 5 stars A close to perfect the franchise has come to
Funny thing about me. I have all the Wipeout games made for the PS and PS2, but this was the first one I bought. Call me a late bloomer. Anyway Wipeout 3 was a great way to get into the franchise because it has the best of what the previous games offered plus a little more. The graphics got some serious update since Wipeout 2 and the gameplay is a lot smoother and faster. Add to that a killer soundtrack and some nice little extras and this game is an obvious choice for any arcade racing fan.

First of all the racing is just plain fun. Frame rate is very smooth and the tracks are varied and challenging. If you're not familiar with Wipeout at all then think of it as a sci-fi racing game. You're racing on an anti-gravity sled thingy that's not only built for speed but armed to take out your opponents the dirty way (by either slowing them down with a land mine or completely trashing their vehicle with a guided missile). Just keep in mind the other racers can do the same. So you have a combination of racing and a little tactical combat as well.

There are some tweaks and improvements from the last games, but the one I'm going to focus on is the instant replay. This is a very cool feature that lets you see the race you just finished from the cameraman's point of view. You see yourself racing past the crowds and screaming around curves (or crashing against the side rails depending on your performance) as if you were watching the race on tv. Neat feature.

The soundtrack is the best of the series (with Wipeout Fusion a close second). Many people prefer Wipeout 2's soundtrack because it has different and eclectic styles of electronica. To me, however, W3 has all the songs built for speed. You get a who's who of artists like Chemical Brothers, Orbital, Underworld, Propellerheads, DJ Sasha and more. For nothing else get this game for the cool soundtrack.

Considering the price of the game today you would be crazy not to buy it, even for just the soundtrack (which you can rip from the game CD). I have played it on my PS2 with no problems and the gameplay still keeps me coming back. Arcade race fans... this game is a must.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best of the Wipeout Series
Though some will tell you that XL is the best, XL doesn't have analog support. And besides, the tracks in 3 are just hard enough. And the female voice of your ship's computer is helpful, while not being irritating. The music is great, and like some PSone games, you can drop it into your computer and rip it.Chemical Brothers - Under the Influence is probably my favorite song on this.

I'd reccomend this over Wipeout Fusion, because Fusion didn't really get the controls down 100% and the tracks aren't well balanced.Wipeout 3 is about as fast and hectic as you can get.

When I think of this game, in my head I hear the female computer voice say "Force wall.":)

5-0 out of 5 stars Possibly the best game of all time, I'm not kidding
This was the first Wipeout game I played. I hated it for the first three hours-- and I probably wouldn't have kept playing if I hadn't just purchased a Playstation and had no other games rented to try out. After hour 4, it was OK, and I started to grasp the basic concept. By hour 20, I was totally hooked. By hour 40, I had my girlfriend playing-- and hating it just as much as I did. By hour 60, she was hooked, and I can't even count how many nights of racing and Eliminator challenges we had (before we broke up, anyway).

I have had one copy or another of this game for almost five years. I've probably logged a thousand hours on it easy, as sad as it sounds, and I still can barely hold my own in the top "official" difficulty level, the Rapier class (especially on the harder tracks)... but for whatever reason, that doesn't hack me off like it would on any other game (I'm not a gamer and get frustrated very easily with needlessly difficult games, because I'd rather do other things with my time).

I get this game out every six months or so and get hooked all over again, and actually want to find and thank the developers. I've played pretty much every other game in the series, and this one creams them all (it beats the earlier ones due to the graphics and especially analog support, which adds SO much to the game... and they all pretty much destroy Wipeout Fusion).

This isn't the best racing game of all time-- it's the best game, period. No other game ever released has this combination of feel, substance, replay value, addictiveness, pure eye candy, and-- yes-- great music (and I hate techno, honestly). I don't understand how it's not a "classic" game, let alone how it's possible that it's so overlooked that you can get a copy for $4 used, let alone that you're not BUYING ONE OF THESE COPIES RIGHT NOW instead of reading this. If you've never played this game, and you're ready for a serious challenge that will endure for the entire life of your PS2 (or PS1!), buy it. Now. Don't even think twice.

1-0 out of 5 stars Punctuality?
My game still hasn't arrived. No response on the last e-mail i sent. Are you going to refund my money or get me the game......

5-0 out of 5 stars Just for the Music
I'd buy this game just for the music. The game can also be played in normal CD players if you just want to listen to the soundtrack. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars What a disappointment, what a disappointment...
I remember watching "Alien 3: Resurrection" at a theatre, expecting some quality equivalent of previous two movies; Alien, and Aliens. I left the theatre with bitter taste because the third installment of the Alien series wasn't even up there to be compared with the previous two movies. What a disappointment...
I wouldn't be disappointed as nearly as I was disappointed that day if there were no such things as Alien, or Aliens. It was bitter disappointment because I was left with no choice but comparing with two great predecessors.

Playing Ray Crisis gave me exactly same taste/feeling, which I felt when I was walking out of the movie theatre. First installment, Galatic Attack, also known as Layer Section in Japan, was an awesome shooter games. It was great enough to be compared to be those great shooter games out there such as Radiant Silvergun and Shienryu. It was beautifully drawn, each level was designed with lot of thought, even the title of each stage was inspiring, coupled with excellent music by Zuntata.
Second installment, Ray Storm, which is an excellent game, not as good as the first one in my opinion, nevertheless, a GREAT game by today's standard. It incorporated more of 3D looking yet the graphic was BELIEVABLE, not those choppy graphic. The game play was also excellent, not as challenging as the first installment(but provided more than enough challenges), but surpassed Layer Section in terms of music and ending. The ending of the first installment was good, meaning it was better than other typical games where it only shows credit. However, Galatic Attack did something more than just showing credit. Moreover, Ray Storm, which has to be the BEST ENDING EVER for any shooter games. You gotta play the game to the end to see it for yourself. With the story scrolling up, with EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT MUSIC, it raised itself from just mere shooter game to something even more.

Now, with all the good things said about first two games of the series... Trust me, I was dying to play this very game. When I played it through, I was left with this emptiness.I might have enjoyed it up to certain extent if I haven't played the first two installment. However, first two installment were way up there in terms of gameplay, graphic, music, ending, etc, Ray Crisis just does not live up to the 'legacy' of the series, just like Alien 3 the Movie.

I don't want to get into the detail why I was disappointed, gameplay(what happened?), GRAPHIC(it looks worse then Ray Storm???), music(not intuitive), etc. I thought about how to describe this disappointment and came up with perfect description.

NO 'SOUL' HAS BEEN PUT INTO RAY CRISIS, PERIOD.

It's a decent game. It's good enough to be enjoyed. However, it's no near to be in same level with either Layer Section or Ray Storm. What a disappointment, what a disappointment...
I really hate to see this one of my favorite installment ending with Ray Crisis, a mere decent game. I really hate to see that...

5-0 out of 5 stars PS2 ?This game proves that the PS1 has some punch left...
Wow. This game is a great last gasp for my beloved Playstation. Working Designs is looking to have a strong finish for the old grey box with Lunar 2 and Arc the Lad collection just aound the corner. If you are a fan of the "shooter" genre, you must have this game. Raycrisis: Series Termination, rivals the great shooters on this system like Einhander and R-Type Delta. This game uses an over head view. The terrain is in glorious 3-D and boasts superb detail. The jungle level is amazing, with weather effects to boot. The game play in this sequel is similar to it's predecessor, Raystorm. You control one ship against hundreds of enemies with the ability to lock-on to multiple targets. Your ship sports forward cannons and rear-firing lasers. The bosses are generated by an evil computer (most likely a Microsoft X-box) that is bent on taking over the world. The stage bosses are of the large sort that beg to be destroyed. You blast through levels of enemies that seem to swarm around yourfighter. Raycrisis plays at a good speed, but it does experience a bit of slow down. The slow down is not enough to foul up game play though. In fact, it may save you when a cloud of destruction is headed your way. To get full benefit of Raycrisis, I suggest turning the difficutly up and the lives down. This game defines "twitch shooter." If you love old school style shooters, this game is for you.

Editorial Review

Now anyone with a PlayStation can dive into the hobby ofradio-controlled helicopter flying without the enormous financial cost or therisk of crashing as you learn to fly. R/C Stunt Copter, believeit or not, is an absolutely enthralling and entertaining game.

Wisely, the game integrates a training mode as a must-play startercourse before advancing to the mission-based aerial challenges. However, don't expect to snooze your way through the missions: thedynamic vocal host spouts out plenty of snide and witty remarks to keepgamers on their toes. Also, excellent carnival-like music accompanieseach bit of the game, including menu screens, training levels, andvarious gaming segments. Extremely touchy controls emulate the realthing, while the game provides words of encouragement to help youmaster dangerous stunts such as loops, rolls, and even inverted flight. With rich gameplay and helpful flying tips, this game achieves the rarefeat of teaching while it entertains. A must-own! --JeffYoung

Pros:

  • Outstanding presentation makes for a mix of learning and fun
  • Superb physics model and controls give the feeling of reallycontrolling a tiny copter
  • Extremely challenging levels will keep players coming back for more

Cons:

  • The concentration required may be too frustrating for youngerplayers

3-0 out of 5 stars A Fun little game
This unique little game lets you fly rc helicopters, it involes the use of both joysticks to piolt you copter though the different trials. It's pretty fun, but with there isn't a whole lot to do in the game. If it had an battle mode or something...

1-0 out of 5 stars Annoying game, could have been better
The first thing your going to do when you play this game is mute your TV. Almost any move you attempt will cause your virtual instructor to make some kind of comment. This gets real old, real fast, aspecially when you realize how difficult it is to fly one of the RC Copters.
Any little tap on the controls, sends your copter out of control, so the last thing you need to hear is none stop, repeaded joking comments.

The layout of this game sucks. Your restricted to a little peice of land for each stage, so if your looking for a game where you can fly around and explore, then this is not your game.

I personally have never flown a remote controlled copter before, but if this game is accurate, then I'm not ever going to waste my money on something that will end up having an ultimate destiny of being smashed to pieces out of frustration.

So is this game worth it? Maybe, if you get it really, really, really cheap, or if you have already mastered remote controlled copters in the real world. If they make another one of these games, then they need to add a whole lot more to it. Some may like it, but I don't.

No stars!

5-0 out of 5 stars Heli Flight
Heli flight is 10x more difficult than model airplanes. The training program on this game is great. If it didn't have that automatic help, you'd be all over the place. Like starting out with an ace helicopter. This game does in fact help you fly REAL model helis. The only catch is, you MUST use the dual shock analog controller and use the two joysticks and become efficient with the ace helicopter(s).It's also not just a trainer for going into model flight, it's also a challenge and great fun. I have a helicopter and this game does help out a lot. Or, if you have an Intel Pentium, you can go to ... and get a REAL FLIGHT Simulator for about ... and you can really see what it's like. That'll be a LOT more REALISTIC than this game but this PSX game does help out a lot.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great surprise!
This game really surprised me in a couple of ways.

I kept hearing it was really hard and frustrating, but I just went through the training first, and it helped me get my skills up high enough to manage just fine. Then Islowly made my way up to harder and harder copters.Great sense ofprogression!

Something I didn't expect at all was the humor. There is avoice giving surprisingly intelligent feedback to just about everything youdo, and he's really funny. And there's a 'virtual' hand you can throw upto block the screen when you're playing against someone else in the2-player mode.

And the whole time you're learning to fly a real r/chelicopter!I've never flown one myself, but now that I can manage the Acecopter in this game,I can't wait to give it a try with a real one, andmaybe even buy one myself if I can afford it.

Very unique...a greatbreath of fresh air!

5-0 out of 5 stars a different genre
This has got to be one of the most original games ever! It can get frustrating at times but it pays off in the end.The makers say you will not finish the game and to me it's that much of a job! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars mom of 1girl & 3 boys
I happened to like this game.It is kind of basic so since I have 4 children under the age of 7 it is easy for them to play.It was bought for my 4 year old daughter and she loves it.She has as much fun picking out the outfits as she does playing the game.

3-0 out of 5 stars Could be better
I thought this game was kind of dull.It is not as cool as the "Manufacturers Review" makes it sound. The only thing you have control over is turning and the outfit you wear. You can't even jump. Even the outfit you wear is limited to around five or six outfits whichdon't mix and match. The way you gain points is by collecting purpletickets. That wouldn't be so bad but there is a limited supply. If youcollect all the tickets you can get the best skates/snowboard but then yourout of tickets and you can't get anything else.It doesn't even help toget "upgraded equipment" with the snowboards because you don't gomuch faster (as if you were going fast to begin with) and you don't needfast skates to win the game.So there is really no point. You supposedlyget a cool prize when you win but all it is is a ten second video thatshows a trophy. This is also the first game I have beaten that has tookonly about 45 minutes to beat. There is no real challange to it.Inconclusion this game is okay to rent but I would rent it before buying itso you know if it is something that you will like. I can almost guaranteethat most people will get bored with it after a few times of beating it. ... Read more

Many of the games in the budget-priced Greatest Hitsseries are showing their age, but Rayman's old-school 2-Dtechnology ironically gives it an edge in terms of longevity. This stillis one of the most beautiful, fun, and imaginative side-scrollingplatform jumping games ever released.

You control the now-famous Rayman, a strange character with no arms orlegs (although he has feet and hands) and a propeller on his head. Somemay look at this as just another game where players run around and jumpall the time, but the charming graphics and incredibly tight controlselevate Rayman into special territory. The difficulty level isjust right at the beginning, letting players get a feel for Rayman'sbasic moves. Later levels require more advanced tricks and precisejumps, but the game is never unfair--something few 2-D side-scrollinggames can claim. If you can get past the too-cute graphics and see themfor the lush, imaginative visuals they are, the gameplay should keep youhooked for days. --T. Byrl Baker

5-0 out of 5 stars Sidescrollers on the PS1 don't get much better than this!
Rayman is a classic game released in the Playstation's early years. And it's still a great game!

Gameplay:10/10:Sidescrolling joy! You are Rayman, an armless, legless, neckless thingy, who has to save his world after the evil Mr. Dark takes over it. You will need to free your caged friends in all of the huge worlds to get to Mr. Dark's layer. You also get powers, such as punching, helicopter, and more! You also fight tough bosses like Space Mama!

Challange:10/10: It's HARD! And only 5 continues! But here's a hint: If you have less than 3 continues, press up, down left, and right on the continue screen to get 10 extra continues!

Graphics: 10/10: They are colorful, and I mean COLORFUL! Bright, cartoonlike 2D graphics. The best of the PS's 2D graphics!

Sound: 9/10: It sounds great!

Music: 10/10: I love the music. My favorite tune is the music on certai levels on the Cave of Skops!

So if you have a PS, and are looking for a chalanging sidescroller, look no further!

5-0 out of 5 stars Good for its type
If you liked the old type of Sonic games on the Megadrive then you'll love this. This game is hard unless your talented at games like me. I gave this a five because of the grate impact on me as my first PS1 game with Crash 1. This is a 2d platformer(the way you move left or right)and I prefer it to Rayman 2 that is 3D(I do prefer 3D games to 2D).

5-0 out of 5 stars Rayman to the Rescue!
If you are bored, play RAYMAN!This is one of the best games I have everplayed on my playstation. There are 60 LEVELS and they get harder and harder. You have to try to free all the ELECTOONS and you can gain abilities on the way to the end. The stary is.......In RAYMAN's world, everyone/everything lived in peace together until one day a fearful thing happens and all the ELECTOONS(they keep the peace in Rayman's world)are caught and imprisoned and there are maniacs running around. RAYMAN TO THE RESCUE!

2-0 out of 5 stars Get one of the newer versions
This version of Rayman was good...in it's time. Now, there are at least five newer (and better) versions with more and better graphics. I'll admit this game is a little challenging, but believe me, it gets old fast. With all the other Rayman games out there nowadays, I really can't think of a good reason to get this one.

1-0 out of 5 stars This game is hard and it not that good.
I thought this game looked like fun, I was wrong. It is frustrating and you have to press so many keys at once. They never tell you what key to press, and there is bad guys all over and if you get hit like once your dead. This game is dumb. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Arcade version, not a sim
If you want to play football without much control depth then choose this over the European "Pro Evolution Soccer 4" (title is "Winning 11" in the US) and if you have heard the buzz surrounding that game then you should know that it is in the top three sports simulations of all time.

Winning 11 however is not an out-of-box game, taking days to learn, weeks to master and then improve on with other players. FIFA works straight out of box, is easy, but its limits become all too obvious in light on Winning 11, a game has been in development since the Nintendo 64 and is easily the best soccer engine out there.

The bottom line is that if you want a soccer game that works out of box, that you can play almost right away with anybody, then FIFA has it. If you want a real soccer sim that takes longer to get into but is far better, then choose Winning 11. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars My least favorite kart game
I found the graphics choopy, the Karts annoying to control, and the tracks boring. The kids and I love Kart games. We still play Mario Kart on Nintendo 64 and a Mickey Mouse racing game. Not to mention, we play CTR on Playstation and have a lot of fun with that. On all those games the Karts are cute, the tracks are fun, and so are the items. Can't say the same for this game.

3-0 out of 5 stars Nicktoons Racing
This game is pretty good for a Nicktoons game. Obviously, you race around trying to finish before other players like Eliza, CatDog, Spongebob, Patrick and more. This game is pretty easy and should only take you a couple of days to beat. You race through Nicktoon places like The Angry Beavers' dam or some CatDog environment thing. I will now rate this game by it's gameplay, graphics, sound, and control to decide my score for this game.

Gameplay:6/10: Fairly fun for a while but then you win 100 times. Man, this game gets boring quickly, so win the Grand Prix and then quit the game FOREVER!

Graphics:4/10: Cartoonish graphics just like the gameplay. The characters look like their animated self while the background seems mushy and not good.

Sound:3/10: It gets old after hearing Boop, bop, beep, boop, bop, beep over and over again.

Control:7/10: The cars are easy to control but they do go crazy at times like when you crash, you get in last usually.

Overall:20/40: I think that equals 2 and a half stars! But, since I can't seem to do halves, it rounds up to a 3! That's better than my Gadget Racers review!!!!! Maybe, soon, you'll see me again in one of my review things. See ya later!

4-0 out of 5 stars It was good but not very good.
This was a good game but it got boring after a while.Once you win it's boring and there's nothing else to do.I recommend this game for ages 6 to 12 because before the age of 6 it's too hard but after the age of 12 it's too easy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hilarious fun for all ages
I got this game as a Christmas gift for my eight year old daughter. She loves the characters and the silly sound effects. The cars were pretty easy for her to control after she got the feel of it. She has played it over and over and never gets tired of it. It really is a fun game for her, and my husband. My four and a half year old niece visited, and she was even getting the hang of it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love this Game!!!!!
I got this game for my 8-yr old daughter and she loves it! it is her favorite game. I myself have played it to and it is really cool, it has so many nick toon characters to choose from like spongebob squarepants and rugrats and so many others. You won't be sorry if you buy this game it also has different race tracks too. ... Read more

This game is ok, but the speed is really bad. The graphics are great otherwise.

3-0 out of 5 stars Don't do it
This game surprised me by the graphics. If your a person you wants to buy this game and have no challenge against other teams,do it but if you want a game that is up-to-date with the graphics, realism of basketball, and up to date with the rosters on each team please do not get it, get NBA LIVE 2000.

4-0 out of 5 stars kinda dissapointed

It's not up to me to decide but I will give you a pointer.Don't do it!This game has excellent graphics and realistic but the statistics bite and the season mode is entirely pathetic! 5-0 out of 5 stars Best game in the whole wide world blah blah blah blah blah
This game is sure awesome blah blah [...]and I really like it blah blah. I like cheese. And oh yeah I like pink ponies. (I'm a boy).

2-0 out of 5 stars A pretty big waste of money
I was disappointed with this game in comparison to the other Tony Hawk games for PS1... dont buy this, but pro skater 2 or maybe 3... wait, actually, don't buy a ps1 in the first place because it is a waste of money (even though they lowered the price to 50 bucks) and can't begin to compete with xbox and ps2.... I am very good at pro skater yet after almost a year of playing it I still can't to the "pro" challenges or whatever where you skate on cars... avoid this, and avoid ps1 altogether.

5-0 out of 5 stars perfect game
i got this game for chistmas last year. it is fun but a little hard.
GRAPHICS 10/10
you can see every thing very clearly at all times
SOUND 10/10
it sounds like a real skateboarder skating
DIFFICULTY 10/10
it has goals that range from newbie to pro skill levels
the object of the game is to collect goalpoints and move to different levels.I have beaten most of this game but so far there have been no skiching on cars or skating through traffic.this game is worth every cent you pay for it. you do not need a strategy book to beat it.it may be hard at first but after you get out of college it gets really fun. dont worry after you pass a level you can explore before you try carrer mode

3-0 out of 5 stars okay but the last ones were better
Yeah, heres one last attempt from THPS to grab a couple grand from some rearing tony hawk nerds waiting for this years edition.
The graphics are decent, the levels are decent, the tricks are decent. A mediocre game but still fun to just ride around and trick up ledges and stuff. Instead of the mission list u get for each level u ride around and go through these little icon things and then it gives u a mission to do. A stupid idea but the dudes at THPS probably try and change it up every year. Sountrack is okay but there is only five levels. Okay game but dont go gettin ur hopes up. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Smurf This
What were they thinking when they made this. Okay okay I know it is a little kids game, but come on it was way too easy, I beat it in an hour. Although I got to say it was some what fun while it lasted and probably a game worth the used price but don't expect a lot of play time out of this one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cool Boarders 3
It's a great game, It's Alot more realistic than CB2.More tricks and outer limits. It's what snowboarding is all about. There is also alot of more things to it than in CB2.I mean more, companys and real snowboarders like in real life.I am a big fan of sports so I took this game with an awsome impression, I love this game and I suggest this game to any snowboarding fan.

4-0 out of 5 stars Off the 'great' mark, but still very good.
Graphics: 8/10 – Clear and pretty, with great mountain designs, cool characters and fantastic snowboards that are designed and used brilliantly.

Sound: 5/10 – Relaxing, swift and sweet snowboard sounds, but the boulders could have made more noise, the music could have been more exciting and the sound editing is ... .

Value: 7/10 – While this is fun and challenging with cheats to die for, there are simply much better Cool Boarders games.

Overall: 7/10 – This is not the greatest snowboarding game ever, but it is entertaining and nicely designed with good gameplay. I enjoyed playing it. It is better with 2 players and I recommend finding the cheats before playing.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awsome game !!!!!!!!!!
This game is so good !!!!! I don't even have to beat it I just have fun play with a friend. The coolest thing about this game are the tricks. Some of favourites are: Misty, Rodeo and salute. Get this game even if you don't snowboard ( comme moi, I ski ) If you don't you don't have a decent Library.

3-0 out of 5 stars Enough fun to last about 3 months
This is an Ok game, but it could be much better. There is only one skill level, and it is pretty easy.Tournament mode is sort of hard, the first time, but altogether, it is easy. I beat all the tournaments in 3 months, and then the game got boring. Graphics and sounds were pretty good, but if you want a game that has more than that, I would suggest a different game.

4-0 out of 5 stars A cool game
This game is pretty cool, but after a few days it got a little boring, even thow it is probaly the best snowboarding game ever. I think every thing is good except the tricks! I don't think their are anoth. Any way its a great game, if you like extreme sports games. If not, play it at your friends or rent it. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars What's Up With This Doc?
This is (bottom line) the WORST basket ball game ever made. You can't have any playoffs or trade teams or anything that most basket ball games have to offer, basically because there's only 2 teams. 2! What is that? You can only play 2 on 2 or 3 on 3 which makes the replay value go down the drain. All you can do after a while is Bugs and Daffy vs. 2 of those demented aliens or whatever combination you happen to come up with. The teams are so unevenly matched, the Monstars are slow, have bad shooting, and are the [worst] ball players I've ever seen and suddenly Porky Pig is able to do a 360 degree slam dunk. In the movie, the Monstars dominated the game 99% of the time, but since this is aimed towards kids, the good side is the best. The animation is very subpar (2D on PSX?), the music is very badly done and it's over all just a boring, quickly thrown together game. I despise that spotlight hogging rabbit, Bugs almost as much as I do this game. Bugs and Space Jam for PSX down, Daffy Duck forever!

5-0 out of 5 stars If you wanna Jam, This is the game for you!
I've got this game and it rules, it's very similar to NBA JAM on the super nintendo. You know how it is, the monstars steal talent from the NBA players and vs the looney tunes in a basketball game.

You can play as either team, the monstars (which are not very good, and they can't do special dunks) or the tune squad (which are a lot better, and they do real cool dunks). In between each period you can play mini games, some are good and some are bad, but they're good to have for a little more fun and they can make you faster, stronger or better at rebounds which is even better. Besides that you can play the single player game there is another option called intergalactic tournament, where 2 players can vs each other. This is probably the best feature of the game, which is great fun. It is 2-dimensional but i think it is better like that. There is one last thing, you can do some real cool dunks with the toon squad.

Overall i give it 9 out of 10!

P.S the reason i gave it 9 and not 10 is because there should be more things to do, but it's still great!

4-0 out of 5 stars THIS GAME IS THE BOMB!!!
I highly recommend this game for anyone who likes to have fun. This is one of the best games I have ever played. The graphics are awsome and the price was very reasonable.I am so glad I bought this game.

P.S. You definitely won't regret buying this game. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Superb graphics and fast action characterize 989 Studios' daredevil motocross game Jet Moto 3. Designed for one or two players, this game expands on the original two Jet Moto games with improved visuals and controls.

After choosing from a selection of characters (each with varying strengths), you can traverse four different courses using a futuristic all-terrain cycle. The well-designed tracks will challenge even veterans of the earlier Jet Moto titles. You will feel the cycle slipping on the ice of the Khumbu Icefall and develop a lump in your stomach as you jump over Devil's Canyon. On the down side, close-up views are difficult to manage, as the field of vision can easily be lost. This is especially a problem in the two-player, split-screen view.

While some gamers may grow tired of this game fairly quickly, there is enough meat here to keep racing fans interested until the courses are mastered. Learning the subtleties of each course can prepare hard-core racers for the game's more advanced seasonal competitions and racing circuits. --Sal Barcia

Pros:

  • Superb graphics
  • Design improved over previous Jet Moto titles
Cons:
  • Close-up views are difficult to manage
  • Non-racing fans may grow bored quickly

5-0 out of 5 stars this game shows me what speed is toward my hands
this game is gooood its twice better than jet moto 1 or 2, (well im not sure of that because i forgot how jet moto 2 is.) alot as how ive seen in this webiste mentions that jet moto 2 is quite best than jet moto 1 and 3, but if you are someone that wants to have new jet motors, good features, outstanting, creative racetracks, than this is the game for you.
what was funny is that i taught this game was going to be a normal race game like any other.. like if i would start in a normal lowering speed as how you normally do when you speed up with a car. but, when i accelerate on this game.. you start speedin up already and goin out there crazy! this game is real wild. myself,i enjoy the game because it feels good going in a good high speed, even when your starting off from the beginning. in a few minutes when i played the game, i got used to the controlling. i find it easy but what is really fun is the way you can ride on something so fast while making a challenge with many other different racers on the game.
the game is interesting while hearing the great good quality music the game gives from each level. that is something that makes me like games.. thing is, the music expresses each level of the game. my favorite are from the khambu race track (the racetrack with the iceroads). as a matter of fact, i like all the songs. they are all great. makes me wanna turn my surround speakers and pump it up.
as how ive said, the game is good, its really good. this is a great experience to speed... especially on my own hands. if you try this game, make sure you get jet moto 2.

2-0 out of 5 stars Stick with JM 1&2
Go back NOW!JM3 is a marketing ploy. The first two Motos are great; the physics of the bikes are realistic. The third one, however, goes off of the deep end.Control of the bikes is jerky and the graphics aren't fluid.I bought JM3 because I had so much fun with the other two...... big mistake! This one should have been the first... a lot of kinks still needing to be worked out.The worst game in my collection.

4-0 out of 5 stars If it's action you want, you'll find it here
I guess I don't know where to begin. This game is really good. It's got its share of flaws but it's still fun. The good sides first. The gameplay has a really fast, fluent style and the grapples work much better than they did in the previous game. The novice courses aren't too hard, but they get harder. Catacombs seems like a pure nightmare at first. Then, the professional courses get even harder. The Machu Picchu course is out of control and almost every part of the terrain is extremely narrow. I won't tell you what happens after you beat Professional mode. Another fun thing is the stunt courses you get when beating certain levels of the game like the deformed Circus Park you get for beating Semi-pro mode. The graphics aren't the greatest in the world, but they do. But the thing is, if you don't have a memory card, you'll get pretty sick of the game because you need to save your progress on a memory card, or you'll be playing Novice courses the whole time which isn't much fun. Also, some of the courses are extremely hard to figure out like they don't have a set path. Courses like Shipwreck Cove, Volcano Island, and Machu Picchu can be very hard to understand at first because the levels are too open. Besides that, it's a blast. Buy it but get a memory card too.

1-0 out of 5 stars This one has run out of gas...
Jet Moto 3 unfortunately comes up short in comparison to the first two games. The control is kinda iffy, the graphics aren't really that great, and the two player mode is unbearable.Do yourself a favor and go afterthe first two instead, they're much better constructed than this one.

3-0 out of 5 stars One more thought on JM3
My first post "Jet Moto 1 and 2 were great, but JM3 fell a little short"(or at least I remember calling it something like that) says it all.Well, it actually says *most* of it.I just thought I should add something very key:this game can be very frustrating. It's hard tomaster- especially if you're used to the first 2 Jet Motos.Once you learnit, this game can be very amusing; although the crash detection will mostlikely always be annoying.

I also noticed that, just like with the first2 JMs, two player mode really is awful. No matter which way the screen issplit, you practically have tunnel vision and is can be very dizzying(andimpossible).Well, just a thought. ... Read more

Pedal power meets polygons in this no-holds-barred cyclingexperience. Not just another racing game, this title successfullycaptures the essence and devil-may-care style of competition mountainbike racing.

The menu screens feature clanging guitars and jolting graphics that putyou in the mood for adrenaline-rushing action. Once you hit the slope, you'll immediately encounter high-speed rough-and-tumble racingfeaturing huge jumps and varied terrain. From riverbeds to steep cityroads, No Fear Downhill Mountain Bike Racing is filled withchallenging race environments. While the graphics aren't as crisp asthey could be, the speed is certainly here, and when players switch toa behind-the-handlebars viewpoint they'll know what it's like to treadthe thin line between fear and control.

Six riders are available, each flaunting personality and differentstrengths. Upgrades such as lighter frames or better tires are awardedafter beating three separate opponents on each track.

A strength meter decreases after holding the pedal button down for longperiods of time. Players will learn to let the bike coast on downhillsegments, supplying the riders with bursts of strength for pedaling onflat or uphill segments. This strategy, mixed with the visceral thrillof racing, makes No Fear Downhill Mountain Bike Racing anexhilarating experience. --Jeff Young

  • Cool riders, each sporting the latest outfits and bikes
  • Precise control
  • Variety of levels keeps the gameplay fresh

5-0 out of 5 stars A game that makes you a better biker... HOW CAN THIS BE?!?
This game is allot of fun. As a Dual Slalom rider/BMX cruiser rider as well as a PSX enthusiast i can say that this game is really chanllenging. Infact I have never cleared all of the courses to make it to the 3rd and final elite mode for the trails and courses... this is extreemly technical and will make you a better downhill 'thinker' if that makes sense... one downside to this game is that the trick function is next to impossible to master... as far as i know there is no game guide or cheatcodes available for this game making it even more of a challenge...

5-0 out of 5 stars Not a bad game:
The only thing I didn't like about this game was the graphics. The controls are easy. The competition is hard which makes it fun. Youn will like it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Endlessly Adicted
I purchased this game....When it arrived i opened it up right away and started playing. Its awsome everythings very realistic, the wreaks, the sound, the graphics, the gameplay. If you are into extreme sports this is the buy for you, and it has great replay value, so you'll never get tired of it! This is a Great Buy!

4-0 out of 5 stars Hey! This game doesn't stink!
A surprisingly good game. My wife even likes it! As a cyclist i was surprised by the high level of realism in the game.A player can actually exert subtle physical control over the bike- such as standing whilehammering the pedals, sitting back for improved braking and increased"endurance"- and have the expected result. All in all a goodgame.

5-0 out of 5 stars very very fun!

The Madden series is by far the most popular NFL console-gamefranchise in North America. It is the game of choice among many active andformer NFL players, and has been a mainstay on most gaming platforms for close toa decade. And this year's version for the PlayStation, Madden NFL 2001,is amazing--it's even better than the incredible Nintendo 64 version of the samename.

In terms of playability, EA Sports has added some nice new features. Players arerewarded with collectable in-game Madden Cards by performing certain tasks, which can be used to unlock secret game codes, players, stadiums, and legendaryNFL teams. Also, you can trade those cards with friends using the PlayStationmemory card. Enhancing the replayability of Madden NFL 2001 is a newtwo-minute drill feature that allows up to 10 players to compete for the highestscore.

The game does have a couple of trouble areas. The CPU play isn't all thatsynched with the gameplay, resulting in some very strange calls and plays. JohnMadden's commentary is stocked with only a few phrases, which are used adnauseam. While not perfect, the sound effects and crowd noises are stillpreferable to the whiny blips of the N64 version. --Todd Mowatt

Pros:

  • Collectable Madden Cards can be used to unlock secret game codes, players, stadiums, and teams
  • New two-minute drill feature
Cons:

4-0 out of 5 stars Mad About Madden!
Madden NFL 2001 is an excellent football game.If you like football, and you like playing it as a video game, you'll love the best game in the league. The gameplay is better than its competitor, 989 Sports, and I feel I can get into the game more.No cheerleader pictures, like on NFL GameDay, so you can stick to football. The different modes (Practice, 2-Minute Drill, etc) and Madden Cards (reward system for completing various tasks) help make this game a powerhouse. You won't be disappointed with Madden.

4-0 out of 5 stars Touchdown !
This game is the bomb! It has great plays, great graphics, and my favorite team (miami dolphins) is one of the best. The bad thing about this game is every once and a while it freezes. Than after a minute it comes back. But overall, this is a cool game.

5-0 out of 5 stars one of the best games ive played
the game is great.the graphics arent that good but the good gameplay makes up for it.my favorite features are create a play, create a team and,Franchise mode.a hint in frachise mode is in the pre season chose the super bowl champs, runner up in the supper bowl, and chose the 3 divsion champs from the afc,or nfc so your rookie players gain experinceeven if the lose.any way this is a great game

2-0 out of 5 stars MAJOR GLITCH RUINS BEST FOOTBALL GAME EVER PLAYED
FIRST OFF , I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT 90% OF THIS GAME IS EXCELLENT... NOW FOR THE OTHER 10%; THIS GAME HAS A VERY!!!! ANNOYING HABIT OF FREEZING UP WHILE PLAYING. I DONT MEAN "HERE AND THERE"; IT'S RATHER CONSISTANT..... LIKE EVERY 4TH QTR YOU'RE IN THE LEAD AND WHEN YOUR CPU OPPONENT SNAPS THE BALL THE QB HANGS ON TO THE BALL (WITHOUT SNAPPING) AND YOUR PLAYERS GO AFTER THE STATIONARY QB TO NO AVAIL... AT THIS POINT YOU CAN DO NOTHING TO "JAR" THE CPU TO CONTINUE... GAME OVER. YOU MUST QUIT IF YOU WANT TO PLAY ANYMORE(WHICH YOU WONT AFTER THIS HAPPENS 6 OR 7 TIMES ESPECIALLY IF YOURE PLAYING SEASON ). THE REAL EXCELLENCE OF THIS GAME WEARS OFF (UNFORTUNATELY) BECAUSE OF THESE "FREEZES"IN SHORT ,I WOULD REALLY LOVE THIS GAME IF IT DIDNT SCREW UP ALL THE TIME .... REALLY!!!!!!TOTAL BUMMER. ... As retro gaming continues to increase in popularity, many classic arcade games are getting a modern-day facelift. The latest 2-D coin-op classic to enter the 3-D era is Atari's Centipede, which now allows you to wander through a wide-ranging environment filled with cantankerous centipedes, sneaky spiders, and other deadly enemies.

Gameplay varies considerably from the original game. While your goal is to still to shoot and survive, there are now six worlds and 30 levels to conquer. Retro gaming purists may scoff at the colorful new environments, which have replaced the generic black background of the original game. However, the 3-D game design now allows for dangerous enemies to creep up from any angle (which they often do). Fortunately, the controls have also been updated to allow you to strategically jump over approaching enemies. --Brett Atwood

Pros:

  • Impressive 3-D update to classic arcade favorite

1-0 out of 5 stars The Greatest Disappointment of all Time
The old classic arcade game Centipede; truly one of the greatest games in video game history. When I heard of the Playstation title coming, I immediatley had to buy a copy of it. As soon as I got my hands on it, for a very low price, it was the first thing I did when I got home, only to play the greatest disappointment I have ever seen.

As my eyes met the screen, I viewed the most boring ... color-textures I have ever seen in a video game. A dorky little 7 year old, with way too large glasses and freaky haircut, who was the chosen one to rid the world of the centipedes. Not much of a storyline; it was more amusing to play Centipede without a story in the arcade. And like I said, the graphics were terrible. All was blocky, untextured and really showed proof that it was carelessly animated by a group of amateurs.

Getting past the horrible graphics and boring storyline, lets move on to the term they call 'sound' in the game. It has to be a cold day in hell when squeaky, toneless, flarvorless bits of crunchy tunes and smushed talking has to be looked at as sound. Besides the crunched up sound, the boring gameplay consists of rescuing tiny pipsqueaks and 'protecting' their houses from the jumping spiders (which also look and sound incredibly [weak]). Parts of the game also consist of driving around aimlessly, so do yourself and your money a favor...don't waste a penny on this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars oldtime fun
excitement, adventure and skills.Anticipation of what is going to happen next. The graphics are extrodinary. Fast pace.

2-0 out of 5 stars Only the classic version is worth playing, all else bad!
Highly disappointing! The two player mode is not simultaneous, so you have to take turns playing, and the two player mode only works in the classic version, not in the newer looking "3-D" version that is only aone player game! What a rip-off!

The only saving grace is that this hasa decent version of the classic Centipede arcade version from the early1980's. This is still very primitive video game fun, if you liked playingit back then.

If you buy this, understand that only the classic versionwill be any fun. The new version is very sluggish and low-tech looking fora 3-D game.

3-0 out of 5 stars Centipede gets a 32-bit facelift
There is no doubt that the original Centipede is one of the most insanely addictive arcade games ever designed. The Playstation release of Centipede includes the classic game plus a newly updated 3D version. The new versionof the game is interesting, allowing you to move anywhere on the playfieldas you blast away at centipedes and mushrooms. Although I love the classicgame, the new version just didn't hold my interest for very long. Havingsaid that, because of the simple objectives involved, I do think this gamemight be enjoyed by younger and more casual game players. Incidentally, theclassic version of Centipede in this package plays brilliantly with theDual Shock controller. All in all, a good but not great effort.

5-0 out of 5 stars quick draw
challenging, fast paced game remake of the origional.Suprising, twists and turns of the bugs that you battle. The only drawback is that you can't save progress after every sub level. ... Read more
