The best part about this game is that you cannot see the fish in the water. When you are fishing you must look for locations that would produce fish, also you must use your fish findertoo. It's very real, seasons change in real life and they do in the game as well. In real life you must change locations when seasons change so in the game much is the same. The level of game play can also change. You can fish in free fish mode. This mode lets you enjoy fishing at your own pace, so you can bulid your skills for the Tournament mode. This mode lets you compete with other anglers for the 1st place spot in the championship. You must learn how to fish under all differnt conditions rain, cold weather, windy, and warm. This game was made for the fisherman by fisherman. Something you do not see when it comes to outdoor games. Usually games are very unreal, leading to disapointing purchase. Not with this game you will begin happy and end happy!!!! The game also has many kinds of fish not just bass. There is Trout,Blue Gill,Carp,Snakehead,Largemouth Bass,Smallmouth Bass,Spotted Bass,Florida Bass, and others. pick up a copy you will be impressed. But I'm not liable for sore fingers due to extended game play because it will be hard to put down!!!!!! Enjoy, and good fishing!
The fishing controller is what makes this a sweet deal. It's compatible with almost every fishing game out there, and adds to the realism of the game. Sometimes with some games the casting is a little sketchy (I thought I put more oomph in it than that???), but all in all it's a nice piece of hardware that makes a good game better.

Amazon.com Product Description Spyro the Dragon has bright graphics in six well-developed worlds, each with several subworlds, including bogs, deserts, and ice worlds. Unlike some action games, in Spyro the Dragon the enemies are more fun than frightening. In the Peace Keepers World, for example, Spyro must burn down the monster soldiers' tent, sending one of the minions running out, quaking with fear or, if you're lucky, dropping his drawers and shooting a moon. Spyro: Ripto's Rage improves on the original with superior controls, more colorful and faster graphics, a tighter story, achievable goals, and plenty of gameplay variety. Spyro: Year of the Dragon invites you to jump down the rabbit hole to recover all the eggs stolen from Dragon World by the evil sorceress and her henchmen. It has the cartoonish look, goofy sounds, and scavenger-hunt gameplay of the other two titles. New to the series is the ability to play as Sheila, the kangaroo; Sergeant Byrd, the flying penguin; Bentley, the yeti; and Agent 9, the space monkey. Features Reviews (4)
Just let me start out by saying these are the most fun and challenging platforming games I own, and that includes all the Crash Bandicoots. The graphics are great and there is just so much to do in them all it will blow your head off! These games are all about Spyro, a young curious dragon who always keeps away evil out of the Dragon Worlds. There are so many types of worlds, inclucing arabian, ice, dessert, robot, farms, dinosaur worlds, space, mountains, underwater and many more, all with great colors and suprises around you all the time. The games also have great instramental musical scores like those of Rayman, and are full of magic and numerous enemies all that fun and challenging to beat. The characters, ( which are all whimsical and creative,) of these worlds ask you for your help, and in return give you many prizes and clues to aid. Combined in the series, you collect many items to help you with your quests, including tailismans, orbs, and my favorite, gems, which are your currency and are scattered all around in the relams' towers, cliffs, sea-sides and just plain everywhere! Spyro also makes many friends, and has many abilites including gliding, flying, head-bashing, swimming, breathing fire and ice, charging, super-charging and fluttering. The Spyro games are also quite simple, but may take a few extra hours to unlock everything and beat all of the speedway records, so you truly never get tired of them! After the first in the series, Spyro, the others to follow just got more beautiful and imaginitive in all aspects and way to enjoy them. For any fantasy and adventure liking video game player, the Spyro series have everything your looking for. There's no way to go wrong with a dragon!

The story is the basic "Save the World" plot, but it has to grow into that story. We take three characters who have no connection to each other: Jack, Rudy, Cecilia. These three characters come together and get involved in a quest that with each step grows larger in scale and scope until it eventually builds into the "save the world" quest that we have come to know and love. For the most part, the game feels like it is mission based. You have to go someplace, fight, and return and find out where the next place you have to go and fight is.I know, this is essentially any RPG (or video game, for that matter), but it just feels more like a mission based story than unraveling the story as you progress through the game. There is a strong puzzle solving element to this game (though not as bad as the block puzzles from WA2), but it was used effectively in Wild Arms. The story was fairly interesting and the minor characters were fun to see pop up from time to time.By the end of the game things started to get a little absurd, but this is a fun little game and it should not be overlooked due to age or graphical deficiencies.

Editorial Review Sending an undisciplined monster into the arena is a recipe for failure,so much of our playing time involved training our creations and watchingthem develop into lethal, confident juggernauts. No two monsters are thesame, and each develops its own unique personality as the gameprogresses. We became more attached to this game's creations than othergames in the genre because of this well-executed feature. --T. ByrlBaker Pros: Reviews (53)

It's not a BAD game; it has it's moments. But it shows that even the irrepressible Harry Potter can't escape the Curse of the Movie-Spinoff Video Game.
To be frank, I cannot see for the life of me why, if you have a better gaming platform, you get a better game. I played my friend's version for Playstation 2 and there is SO much more to do. Hogwarts seems to be based off the movie version, as it is huge and has things you would actually see. In the PSX version, you are in corridors that do not follow Hogwarts standard (maze-like) The worst part, in my opinion, is the Gryffindor Common Room. One would just love to have a look around, right? Hah. In this game you have very little to do. I guess I'm more or less a stickler for roleplaying, and was hoping the game had a more realistic tone to it. Repeating what An Amazon.com Customer said, 'Prof. Lockhart looks like someone hit him with a can opener. Dobby looks like a rat. Colin Creevey is tiny, and Ginny Weasley looks like a pig.' It's all too true. I would love to have moving staircases, secret passages only avaliable with certain spells and more prefects roaming the hallways at dark...it adds a sense of adventure to the entire thing. Oh, by the way, even though Harry FINALLY TALKS, his mouth never moves (or if it does, the inside of his mouth is the same color as his face)
My favorite parts: Fighting Aragog My advice to the makers: Make the next game a little longer, a tad bit more challenging, but not overly so, and make the Duelling a side game for two players so that you can challenge one another. That would be wicked! ... Read more

I gave this 3 stars only because the characters are interesting and their moves are exciting to watch. However, the A.I. is, of course, a cheeser.Expect to be helplessly and inexplicably put into a grab move, despite the fact that you are too far away to be reached. Also, if you pick Akuma, you are forced to fight alone in Arcade mode.Meaning, if the computer has 4 players, you must fight all four alone in what turns out to be a survival mode. If you want a real street fighting game with Street Fighter characters, stick with the Street Fighter Alpha series.
Yes, I have gotten it Jan. 3rd 2003 and I am glad to day that I am fully entertained by it, but notice my rating hasn't changed, only because of all the loading times, and the super combo and energy bars, too small, they were twice as big in the DC and Arcade versions, plus, the announcer only says, "CAPCOM VS. SNK"
- I'd like to see some player bios. Granted, I know every Capcom character's life story through the many other Street Fighter games I've played, but what about the SNK side? Why the obvious tension between Iori and Kyo? Raiden seems out of place...what's his deal? I didn't appreciate having to extract what little background info I could from my King of Fighters '95 Game Boy game. That sounds like a lot of complaints, but the game does have many strong points. Character strength is based on a ratio system, with 1 being the weakest characters and 4 being the strongest. In Arcade Mode, players get 4 ratio points to spend choosing characters. For example, Yamazaki is a ratio 3 character, so a player could only choose one more character, which would be from the 1 ratio group. Most characters also have an EX version, which can be bought with versus points in Price Mode. Some moves are unavailable in EX mode and some may change. Anyone who has played Street Fighter Alpha 3 with X-ism should find this familiar. EX changes are for the most part not in the instruction manual. The SNK drawings of characters are fantastic. Color Edit mode allows one to create custom color features for characters, which I find helpful for when I feel like Dan needs to be in a more conservatively colored gi. There are a lot more pre-fight taunts and demonstrations of power than in Street Fighter Alpha 3. Some of the dialogue really makes me want to work harder on my Japanese study, because what they do while they're talking makes what's to come a little more intense. (I'll have to see. Sometimes fighting game talk gets pretty stale.) All in all, a wonderful effort. Capcom vs. SNK Pro reinforces my belief that the Street Fighter and King of Fighters systems are superior to the competition. ... Read more

You play the role of Rookie 1,and you're sent to inspect the Dreighton Triangle, because many ships have dissapeared there. But then a swarm of Tie Fighters come in and shoot you down. You land on a planet, then you look for a YT-1300 Transport, while blasting StormTroopers all around(there are ground combat missions, too). Pros: Plenty of action. Three dificulty levels(easy, medium, and hard). Ground Combat Missions! Cons: Awful graphics on most of the levels. You can't truely control the ships. They mostly control themselves while you blast the heck out of everything. Having two disks is inconveinient. You have to put disk one in your PlayStation for the game to start, then put disk two in to acsess the later levels,if you've goten to them. Sometimes controling where the crosshairs go is hard using the little arrow buttons. Overall, this is a good game, but it could have been WAY better.

Of course, I wouldn't say this is the best shooters out there right now, however, when this particular genre is disappearing, OWNING THIS TIMELESS CLASSIC itself is worth 5 Stars. Yes, this game does have its own flaws, such as kind-of unlimited continues (but you won't be able to beat it in one sitting, like some other shooters out there with real-time unlimited continues..so unwise..what's the point of beating the game in one sitting?? THINK!!), certain enemy attacks are nearly impossible to dodge (ok, may be it's just me who just can't seem to dodge them when other people are having no time doing that), however, its merits are way greater than its flaws. You wanna talk strictly about shooter games with having Radiant Silvergun as the standard for experience? You wanna talk about Shienryu/Galatic Attack as best typical vertical shooters as the standard for fun factor? You wanna talk about Silpheed as the standard for graphic? You wanna talk about Ray Storm as the standard for music and best ending? You wanna talk about Bangaioh as the standard for creativity? Then 5 Stars doesn't make sense for Strikers 1945.May be 3 1/2 or 4? However, this is good enough, to receive 5 Stars at this time, where shooter is dying genre.I fully enjoyed it and play time to time again and again.I try not to use those special attack as I play more and more, and that itself is awarding enough. Whether you like shooter or not, with this priceline and the fact you are here to own near perfect arcade shooter, it's priceless, at least, it's priceless for me.Please Enjoy It!!!

The combat is fun, which is good, because tactical RPG's are all about the combat. It is also a little innovative, mainly in the fact that members of your party can transform into Weres, giant monsters with more hit points and a variety of special attacks. They turned out to be less useful and important than I'd imagined, because only one person at a time can be one, and you have a very restrictive number of Were points to work with, especially early on. The battles are also smaller than is most preferable. The maps aren't very big, first of all, and you can only control 6 people at a time (most things don't match Shining Force's 12 people). One annoying combat point is that Saiyuki is king of palette swapping; in general, rather than introducing new monsters, it just changes the color and level of the old ones, which isn't very cool. Also, the attack animations for spells are repetitive, and way too long, and are poor quality anyway, but they can be turned off. The entire game, actually, is graphically plain, though that isn't too important in any sort of RPG, and there are some nice touches, like the character portraits. The plot is actually very good, especially for a tactical RPG. It is linear, but very interesting. It is based on a Chinese myth, the same one which spawned Dragon Ball Z (although it is similar in Goku's name only). It is cool, without having a fancy presentation. Saiyuki also has a very good cast of characters, including the main enemies. Saiyuki took about 30 hours to finish, but it is easy to play in small amounts, like one or two battles, so length shouldn't be a deterrent. I recommend Saiyuki, but not particularly highly. You should play it if you like tactical RPG's, but there are some better ones to play, like the Shining Force series, Front Mission, or Final Fantasy Tactics, especially as an introduction to the genre. Still, it is fun.
The game has nice characters, the story line is cool, and the BGM is nice. Like a previous reviewer said great if you like tactics.
Mechanically, it's quite similar to Final Fantasy Tactics; you travel from point to point, learning parts of the story as you go, and then engaging in tactical battles that become more complex and more dangerous as time goes on. Since FFTactics was a good tactics game, this means that Saiyuki, too, is a quite enjoyable tactical game. Where Saiyuki shines, though, is in the story and characters. There have been many different adaptations of the Monkey King and Journey West -- a game called "Wu Kung" for the PC, the anime Dragonball, and so on -- but this one has its own charm. The wandering monk, Sanzo, gathers together a group of guardians to oppose certain dark forces and to retrieve a collection of ancient wisdom from distant India. Each character is given several expressions to accompany and emphasize their dialogue, and their designs are well-executed to reflect their character; the self-serving, mischievious Monkey King Son Goku, the innocent and earnest monk Sanzo, the haughty Daughter of the Dragon, and so on. The characters do not just focus exclusively on the plotline, but often banter amongst each other, giving us insights into what they are like and how they get along during their travels. There's nothing tremendously deep or literary about these characters, but for a video game they're amazingly well executed. When I'm playing, I'm looking forward to each interaction and wondering what I'm going to learn about the characters. The battles are good, but the story's better. A little-appreciated gem. If you like tactical RPGs, grab this one! ... Read more

This PS disc is so addictive that my dad bought a second Playstation and TV, sitting side-by-side, so that two people can play their own games while still be hanging out with another couch potato. So my dad and his wife each bought a copy of this FAMILY GAME PACK, and they spend many hours everyday, playing. It's better than having them just watch TV, at least they have to think about the card games and interact, and there is a feeling of suspense and tension that is felt while playing each hand of the card games, so the "excitement" is constant. I enjoy playing the Hearts card game, and the Spades card game. These two are played with/against 3 other computer players. Each computer player has a name, and adifferent skill level (it seems) with different card games. "Molly" and "Toni" are quite skilled and ruthless Hearts players, but if they play the Spades card game then Molly gets sloppy with her bidding. Hearts is fun because it shuffles the card quickly, and the computer players are pretty good, quite a challenge. Spades is almost as fun, but I see that the computer program has some predictable styles of play (they usually refuse to toss an Ace on an opponents King, I don't know why). This different style of playing is equally irritating as it is interesting. Maybe the computer knows something about Spades that I never considered? Compared to most video games full of fast action excitement, this game offers a large variety of Playstation versions of NON-video gaming. If there are retired folks in your life, you probably know that they love to play calm, old-fashioned games, and this Playstation disc makesit easy for them to play solotaire card games WAY too much. You will find that you are trying to get your senior family members to stop playing with the Playstation so much!

Unfortunately, there isn't much to this game. The challenge is very low and the only parts that can be considered hard fall into the "Time your jumps or else" annoyance category. My first playthrough only took me 7 hours and in that time I was able to find all the hidden items. However, the games saving grace is its humor and that you are able to play through the game using the 2 different characters. While not one of Square's best games, I recommend this to someone looking for a quick little diversion, or even to the more amateur gamers out there.
