BEST GAME EVER!
I am a girl who didn't exactly like football- that is, until I got NFL Blitz! I used to act like I was watching a football game, when really I was staring at the cheerleaders! Now I actually watch the game, but the best part is that I understand the plays and why they make certain calls! If you buy this, expect better understanding of football.

NHL 2000
This game will satisfy casual gamers and leave hardcore gamers frustrated. I hate to say it but this game has sloppy defense and merely adequate offense. The computer cheats and scores from bad angles.If you come in alone you rarely score. I say that it's an average sports game.

GREAT
A must buy for any hockey fan.The speed is great, graphics well done, and the announcers are hilarious when they begin to mock a losing team.The fighting is too predictable and slightly annoying (i usually turn it off).For instance, you are almost guaranteed that Lindros will be lost to a fighting major or two per game.Turn the fighting off and the BIG HITS on and prepare for some excitement.

I must have spent 2 to 3 days at least looking for my first Playstation Hockey game to purchase! I knew I wanted to go with EA Sports so price made me go with NHL 2000! I have to say I have been a long time hockey gamer on other systems for a lot of years and for [the price] you cant go wrong with this one! Once you get a hang of the buttons and the feel of the game, beginners and rookie level setting will be way too easy, I was winning game by 12-15 goals! With four different difficulty settings the game will be challenging no matter how good you are! The greatest part of the game I thought (unlike other hockey games of the past) you could actually score a goal from the blue line with a 100mph slap shot right past the goalie! Junk, period.
This is the worst gamepad I've ever seen in Logitech's line up. There are few very buttons, making it useless for almost any game. There is no start button which many have gotten accustomed to nowadays. The buttons on the right are so tiny! They feel odd and qwerky when pressed. Logitech has been known for making some of best game controllers out there, and I don't see why they went to make this so poorly. I'm very dissapointed in this product, thus do not recommend to anyone.

Personally I like Cool Boarders 1 better!
Though this adds more to it..I found Cool Boarders one to be smoother and simpler to control. I'm selling this one and buying an older version!

This is the best game in the Coolboarders game series.This status is due largely to its easy to learn play control and fun modes.The five modes are Competition, Freestyle, Big Air, Halfpipe, and Board Park.The competition mode is a series of 9 sets, starting with a big air round.The best big air tricks combined score wins the 1st place starting position in the next race.2nd highest gets second, and so on.In freestyle, there are 3 courses to start with.Once competition has been won, all 10 courses can be accessed.Big air is simply a trick mode.Halfpipe is the same, only in a halfpipe with a time limit and multiple tricks.Board park is just a leisure mode win which you can ride all over the park doing tricks (to beach boys melodies!! lol)to bring up the "cool" meter.the games modes and boarders are rated here:

It's an O.K game... for a while.
I got this game for my birthday, thinking it would be the best game in the world. It was, for a few hours. I went online, looking for cheats and reviews and saw how great everyone else thought it was too. But then I noticed people talking about mirror levels, and weird characters, tons of combos, and other stuff. I thought it might have been cheats, but they weren't. They were supposed to be in the game, but for some reason, my game was limited to only 4 parks in freestyle and 6 parks in competition. Overall, I liked the game, but I think it could have been more in depth with the parks and how to do the tricks.

The best snowboarding game...EVER!!
This game is a simply unbelieveable ride, with 10 courses, and lots of extras. You start out with only 4 boarders, but by completing tasks, you can earn others, like Boss. The championship mode is great, using all nine courses with lots of competition to almost melt the snow! Then, there is a mirror mode, and a hard mode, both equally great. The freestyle mode allows you to practice the courses and break records in time, trick, and total points. The starting records aren't very hard to beat, but it is fun to beat your own records. Then, there are two modes of Big Air. One mode is a regular trick mode, where you go off one of three ramps and pull the sickest move you possibly can. The other is a trick master mode, where you have to do the trick that appears on screen. Then there is a halfpipe, for pulling off MORE sick tricks for an official score, like the pros. Then, there is a board park, for pulling off even MORE sick tricks off giant ramps, barrels, and even CARS! The board creator is mostly useless, but so what? It's still a good diversion! What I also like is the hardcore soundtrack, chock full of alternative rock songs to bang your head to...or you would if you weren't playing the game. The only con is that the game is not as graphically rich as it could have been, but so what? Graphics don't always matter. Buy this, buy this, buy this, you will not regret it!!

Fun to play, but gets old.
This game is great if you don't have anything better to do. Cool Boarders is really to easy in my opinion. Also after a while the tracks get boring and they start to seem alike which can be confusing. But it's still a cool game, like being able to pick what the person's wearing and being able to create your own snowboard. It's Alive
Before Kurt Warner had a career with the St. Louis Rams, he played for the Arenabowl champion Iowa Barnstomers when he endorsed this game called "Kurt Warner's Arena Football Unleashed." The music is rockin' and up to date you can crank it up to. The sound effects are great on this game, if you hear that doink! sound, it looks like a Hanna-Barbera cartoon. and the commentary is way better than that Tim guy from NFL Blitz. Oh, and for every touchdown, you be treated to a song of joy as you score for 6. This game is way more better than NFL Blitz, unfortunately, it was the last hope for any more Arena Football games on any system.

Close to real...
I'm an AFL fan and have been for a while, so I got this game, since it sounded interesting. It's not the truest sim out there, it's more like NFL Blitz but indoors. Still, it's a very fun game if you remember the 2000 AFL season. I would have liked to seen more of these games, for each season. At least this game will satisfy my appetite for AFL football. I would suggest all AFL fans to get this game, simply for the joy it will bring to you, and the fact that this is the only repesentation of the best brand of football out there. I just wish other smaller leagues (like the WNBA) would get a contract for games, since there are many fans of these lesser known sports that would love to have sim games. GO RATTLERS GO PREDS

Any fan of the AFL enjoys the bone-rattling hits on the 50-yard indoor field.This game certainly has its fair share of those explosive collisions."Kurt Warner's Arena Football Unleashed" is a fairly entertaining arcade-style football game.

Unlike the AFL, this game only allows for 6-on-6 players, but the graphics are quite good.The game has all 17 AFL teams and respective arenas and you can develop a good gameplan with a plethora of well-designed plays.Larry Beil, the official voice of the AFL does the commentary for the game, which is an excellent addition.The lack of penalties is more than made up for by the vicious "NFL Blitz"-like hits.

Accepting the game for what it is worth,with its arcade-style of football, it is pretty fun, and there is a good replay factor.If you are a football fan, this game will be a good purchase.

Even though other people doubt the gameplay of this game, it is still cool. Yeah it should be "leashed." Well I don't care what he says, I'm an AFL fan and I say this deserves 5 golden stars. Go Red Dogs!

This is a lot better than RR Jailbreak!
This game kicks ...! It is more realistic than Jailbreak, but still has a good feel to it. It feels the same as playing Road Rash 3, if you like RR3, you will like this. BUY IT NOW!

not all that great
OK, I am a fan of the Road Rash series.Have been since the Sega Genesis games, but I didnt like this game.At first, its fun.Working your way up and collecting cash.Once you get to the third level, this game is impossible.One crash and there is no way to catch up to the guy in the lead.Windy roads and cars will make sure of that!Another thing I didnt like was the fact that the bikes are going so fast that there is hardly anytime to fight.Dont get me wrong, I like the speed, but I think the company slacked off when it came to the fighting aspect.I recommend Road Rash: Jailbreak.

Awesome Racing Game
This game was really fun. There are several levels, and you must collect money by winning races so you can purchase a better, nicer bike to race with. There's lots of cool roads and settings you can race in. There are about 15 other computer-operated bikers that you are racing against, and if you are in last, there is afew places where you can cheat and take shortcuts, and it puts you in first place! I also liked this game because there are cops in it and they try to chase you down. You can ram them and other bikers with your motorcycle to make them crash, or you can hit them with one of the many weapons you acquire over time.(Like a 2 by 4, chain, mace, stun gun, cattle prod, baseball bat....) Oh, and one more thing: I wouldn't recommend it to anyone under 12 or anyone that can't interpret the difference between fake violence and real violence. But this game is really alot of fun!

I like the weapons and the big races(or tournaments). But I wish it were 2 player. It would be a tiny bit better. But other than that, the game is great and fun!

Big waste of money
The cover can fool you. It looks like a really cool game but it has terrible graphics and awfull controls. It's slow and doesn't offer many tracks and only two bikes. It doesn't even give you a Yamaha like Jeremyrides. I hope the 2000 version is a little better. Try Moto Racer 2.

A total waste!
A sorry excuse for a "state of the art" racing game: the camera jerks, it's slow, and the max speed is 15 mph.I can't even tell when to switch to 3rd gear because it displays your speed on a green bar, not telling you how fast you are going.Even if you decide to make your owntrack, it is so hard to do, it isn't even worth it.I just hope the 2000version is better.Don't even bother taking out your checkbook; just moveright along to the next game. ... Solo players can compete against computer contestants, who will occasionally miss andsometimes supply clues. Another option is speed Jeopardy, which allows the solo gamerto play one entire Jeopardy board alone. And with a multiplayer adapter, you can playagainst up to two other human contestants. If you know the rules of the TV show, thenyou are already prepared for the home version. The host will give you an answer, and youmust correctly identify the right question. You've got four seconds to offer your responseto one of numerous trivia and question challenges spanning several categories. Becausethere is no keyboard, you must choose your response letter by letter, using the left andright arrows of your controller. This can get tedious, but you can use the "answercompletion" mode to have the computer fill in the word after a few letters. And don'tworry about framing your answer as a question, the computer automatically does that foryou.

This game is awsome, and I reccomend buying it. For any Jeopardy fan, this game is for you!!!

Jeopardy! Second Edition is much better.
I bought Jeopady! Second Edition and my wife and I play it almost every day (please see my review for that game--five stars).Worried about running out of questions, I decided to buy this edition of Jeopardy.While the gameplay is the almost the same, this edition is not up to par with the second edition.In fact, if I had bought this edition first, I'm not so sure if my wife and I would be as hooked on playing Jeopardy as we are today.The differences between the two games are:

1.The questions seem to be more difficult in this edition (I say this only having played a couple of games).The difficulty level is about the same as what it is on regular Jeopardy on TV, while the difficulty level in the second edition is about the same as the Jeopardy teen/college tournaments on TV (which in my opinion is much better since most of us playing the game wouldn't qualify to go on the TV gameshow).

2.The sound quality is poor in this edition.Both Alex and the announcer sound like they're talking through a pipe.

3.The video quality is somewhat poor.It is much easier to read the category board in the second edition.The video is somewhat dark as well--it can be difficult to determine what category and dollar value is highlighted.When Alex speaks, he is shown in a small box and the video is choppy.When he speaks in the second edition, he appears in full screen at better resolution.

4.The computer players don't talk like they do in the second edition.

Considering these differences and the fact that the second edition typically sells for ($) less, I think it should be a easy choice as to which one to buy.Don't get me wrong...this is a good game.It's just that the improvements in the second edition make it much more enjoyable to play.Buy this one if you start to run out of questions in the other one.By then, however, Jeopardy 3 may have already been released (which I'm hoping is real soon).

Great Game... BUT>>>
I really liked this game compared to earlier video game versions.I dont like the write you own name feature... Im not at all fond of how dark the board is.. and how much we have to adjust the color and brightness on our screen to see the board, then adjust it back when we are finished.The questions are difficult and exactly what we hoped.Answering is rather difficult at first, and the auto complete is nice, except you have to be really careful... learned that the hard way... I would have given it 5 stars, but the dark screen and S---L----O----w loading of the game decided against that...

Great GAme
I liked this game very much. It makes you think, and peruses the mind just like the TV show. I like the fact that a person can sit in front of their TV for hours and learn different subjects every time they play Jeopardy. Ihave to say that this is a very addictive game.

The Slowest Interface in Gaming
Sure, you think it's cool to play Jeopardy on the PlayStation.And it would be, if the interface for you, the player, were faster than molasses running uphill in the ice age.

The "wheel of death" forentering the answers is the most hideous application of player-gameinteraction we've ever seen.You must scroll through the "wheel ofdeath" to select the letters one by one; and then the game willeventually fill in the rest of the answer for you.But if it's a longanswer, and the game contains other words that begin with the same letters,you're toast.

On the plus side, you don't really have to know how tospell; since the game will finish the answer for you.However, if youcan't spell the first part of the answer (even if you REALLY know it)you're toast again.

If you were brave enough to suffer through the"wheel of death" and the idiotic repition of Alex Trebek"Why yes!" responses when you managed to get something right, youwill be confronted with the evilest of all portions of the game: FinalJeopardy!

This game was so well thought out for the multi-player mode,that you must look away from the screen while your competitor answers thequestion.So if your friends cheat, you'll always lose.

Oh, yes, and wecan't forget how horrible the pen interface is to write your name as thecontestant. You have to hold down the "X" button while using thed-pad to draw.It would've been a bit easier to use the "wheel ofdeath" (the only time we'd thought that, that was for sure).

Thecategories are also poorly color schemed, so they are difficult toread.

Our advice... Wait for "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?"to figure out how you can phone a friend on a cd-rom game and buy that one. ... Read more

Great Game
If you'rer looking for a great baseball game, choose any of the Triple Plays. I am rating the computer game here. Triple Play 2000 lets you create player, manage teams, play games, have homerun derbies, play or simulate seasons, play playoffs, a network game, and the graphics are pretty good. Choose from any of the 30 stadiums (as of 1999) and the broadcasters are Buck Martinez and Jim Houston. Choose Triple Play.

Solid game overall, but......
The gameplay is fun and pretty realistic if nottotally true to life.The graphics are great, and the commentary is entertaining.The problem with this game is the computer AI.Often the opposing team can't seem to drive in runs unless they jack one out of the park.Also it is far too easy to hit. I constantly end games with 20+ hits and that takes away from the authenticity of the game.Another problem is that There are not enough options.After you're done with a season there really isn't much else to do.The game could definately use afranchise mode similar to the Madden football . series.If it had that this game would get 5 stars

When my parents got me my playstation I got Triple Play 200 and NHL 99. I never would have bought it but until I got Driver It was the best game in the whole world. If you're bored you can pick it up on a rainy day and play forever.

Yeah the title is right. This is Power Baseball. I nearly see 2 HRs a game at least. I like playing games that are real. Baseball is a lot differentthan this game. It is no fun at all. Loaded and ready to kill (you)
Loaded is probably one of the best games I've ever played. You leave prison blocks messy blood banks, and the killing makes you foam at the mouth and bleed through your ears. It's a killing field. And that's what makes it so fun! The music is awesome and the graphics, well who cares about graphics, I mean it's not like 80's Tetris or anything, I mean they're pretty good, but the gameplay is great. Keeps you entertained for hours, if you're really into limitless mass murder.

Thank God Gauntlet is finally being brought back home
Loaded, while fun for a short period of time, is no gauntlet, though it seems to be modeled after that great game. Loaded is "loaded" with flashing lights and explosions (sure to send anyone into an epiliepticsiezure). These affects make it extrmely hard to keo track of yourcharacter. To make matters worse, supplies are extremely limited in twoplayer mode. You must share the already scant resources with your partner.The game does have a lot of blood and violnce, thoug. A great party game for the whole family
Skydiving Extreme is a challenging game, and is great fun at an affordable price. It makes a great party game (for 2 players), and it's content is safe for the whole family.

Skydiving Extreme plays much like a dancing rhythm game, but without requiring rhythm. You must input on-screen button combinations as quickly as possible, in order to both correctly execute stunts, and to slow your fall. Fall slower than your opponent and you will advance to the next level. As you complete levels, you progress thru progressively more advanced opponents, requiring faster reflexes and more difficult stunts.

There is also an "attack" system, which really adds to the challenge. "Attack" energy builds-up as you succesfully complete stunts, and onceenough energy is built up, attacks can be unleashed. Attacks force teams to input very complex button patterns or they will fall faster. Whoever falls fastest, and is forced to open their parachute first, loses. Needless to say, battles can get very heated as you are trying to input very complex button combos, while at the same time attacking or being attacked.

The game is amazingly simple in its execution, and that is its beauty - it is a lot of fun, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a change, or to families looking for kid friendly games on the PS1.

Test Drive 5, the racing game king
Test Drive 5 is perfect, it beats all of the series, even the new Test Drive, it has around 30 vehicles such as the Viper, the Corvette, and a secret Hot Dog Dune Buggy. My favorite vehicle is the Viper GTS. I have this game on PS1. There are 30 locations like Russia and Hawaii, and secret levels like Bez's Flat Circuit, I'm not lyin' about that, it's hidden. The soundtrack is from bands like Pitchshifter and Fear Factory. There is an all-new cop chasing mode. All other racing games can be fun, but this one is my favorite. This game is better than Need for Speed and Gran Turismo. Tell the people who made this, I said it rocks. Allthought it's neglected today, I never forget about it. The weather affects and the details are perfect. My favorite level is, oh I can't decide, they're all unique. Accolade is the maker of this triumphant game are known as Infogrames. I just loooooove it.

this game is really awsome. for a ps1 game the graphics are just really good for example the italian job game on ps1 is very blocky but this game is not blocky and for a ps1 game very smooth. the car selection is great, awsome play back value with enough selections of game play like my favorite, the drag race, this game is really good! also i got this game for a bargain ...! so if u have a ps1 or if u have a ps2 and want a good racing game this is one for u!!

The greatest game to its day
When TD5 was released, it stood up to "Need For Speed - High Stakes" - its nearest competitor. (Sadly, TD6 was a bad joke compared to "Need For Speed - Porsche..."). However, for its day, TD5 is one of the finest computer games in that generation - which means, keyboard controlled. If you do love racer games, like I do, and your budget doesn't allow a force feedback steering wheel, do get TD5. It's the absolutely best keyboard-compatible car-driving game you can get. What a shame TD6 degeneratd into an arcade game, instead of evolving into a high-class simulation like the "Need For Speed" series did.

ECW Hardcore Revolution
I'd say if you're looking for a few laughs it's cool.But other than that, the moves are horrific.The finishers are the most choppy.The create-a-wrestler menu barely gives you an option.If people like that game, ok.I would really recommend getting a PS2 with WWE Here Comes The Pain.

This game is o.k but it takes to long to load and even loner to load on a PS2 system I was not apeccting anything better that it was because Acclaim because they can;t make wreslting games and when I go into death math mode I only got the table in the corner of the area once in about 20 times. But I loved the barded wire math the should make more wwe game with blood or a on or off button for the blood. The finishers ...or rvd to do the five star frog splash you have to beat your oppent to a pult and you have to pree way too many buttons. I had just recieved this game today
It's really fabulous. My kid brothers are video game savy. It's quite entertaining storywise. The gameplay is easy. maybe too easy. I play this game soley to be absorbed in the story. The anime feel to it is charming. enjoy.

The brightest and the most delightfull game I ever played!
A PERFECT 10/10 on everything.....I remember playing this game on the JAMPACK back in 1999. The second I played it I got so addicted to it, and soon I really liked playing the game. I was really happy Japan released it here. What I love most about the game is the music, which sets the a really happy mood, and makes you wanna play the game! It's aimed towards younger audience, but I'm 18 and still enjoy it. In the game the MOVIE cutscenes are simply AMAZING!! Everything is hand drawn and it looks like you are watching a real cartoon show. The graphics in TAIL CONCERTO are very good! All the characters look detailed with nice smooth layout. And the environments look great. The music definately helps the game a lot. The coolest thing in the game is that you never have to read anything for the most part. All the characters talk. And the voice acting is great! I actually never skipped the talking because it's kinda cool they way WAFFLE and the BLACK CATS GANG fight with each other! ^___^ And how well all the characters interact with each other. And the voice acting is EXCELLENT. Simply a top notch performance in my opinion but I'm sure you will think the same after playing this game for 10 minutes. This game is one of my favorite games ever, and if you like playing cartoony happy games, with fun challenges and lots of bosses and HIGHLY addictive music, you will definately HAVE TO get this game. Based On Japaneese Demo
When I heard of this game, I bought a Playstation Undergroung Jampack.This was the import demo.Although it was the wrong format (PAL) and it was almost entirely in Japaneese, I thought it was a great game.I think it's about some cat like people fighting these evil cat chicks that like blowing stuff up.Dispite the demo I played being in Japaneese and the PAL format, I thought this had high enetertainment value and I hope it doesn't become a victim of Sony's "mass discontinument" (yes, I know that's not a real word) where they're discontinuing almost all the games (even Crash and Spyro).I hope to buy the full version (in English and the NSTC/UC format) soon before it goes away.

Very cute but . . .
In light of the many depressing games that have been released for the PSXlately. (Depressing as in terrible games, not depressing story lines.) Thisgame does come out somewhat. The kittens are out of control and it is yourjob, as a police officer, to keep them under control. The game is cute,however the game is a tad easy.

The game's cartoony look and feelcertainly add to the appeal, a kind of disneyish look (remember the old TVshow Tail Spin?) that will certainly appeal to the younger crowd.Unfortunately this very same look and feel will certainly turn away manymany older players. The game certainly lacks the big-eyed-small-nose lookthat many Japanese anime characters have (Did you know that look actuallyoriginated here in the States?).

I always wished that game companiestook care with the game play on games like this. For someone like myself(who can blow through Half-Life in less than an hour on the hard setting.)found this game a bit easy. However, I noticed that even though the gameplay was too easy it was also too inconsistent. Getting and using the jetpack would frustrate almost any younger player. (How many know to look forthe shadow?) fighting some of the bosses would frustrate a few as well. Notexactly a perfect learning curve. And why do certain things hurt you, likethe little auto's driving around? The main character walks around in a bigrobot' suit. A little odd.

Despite it's drawbacks, I figure this gamewill be a nice little sleeper title with a small but dedicated following(any one remember Kid Chameleon?) my 5 year old son and I play this together all the time, it's more fun than the standard NASCAR games b/c it's more than just "drive fast, turn left"there are lots of street tracks, short cuts, and different things to do.

we have sat for hours playing this game.

and have had a blast unlocking some cool cars, and playing against the older drivers!!

Possibly the best Nascar game out there
This game is great. There are so many features in this game that you won't get anywhere else. For one, there are the tracks. There are around 18 tracks. The tracks range from aspalt to dirt to grass. You race through canyons, swamps, marshlands, and all kinds of other things. Almost all of the tracks have shortcutts that you can take to win races easier. The tracks sometimes are wide, and sometimes they are very short.The tracks almost always have jumps, or places where you get stuck and where it takes you a while to get out.
The tracks aren't the only bonus feature though. There are all kinds of powerups that range high speed boosts to tornados that will clear the track ahead of you. There are also freezes that locks the cars steering, shockwaves that blow the car in front or behind you high up into the air, and storms that hover above the other car and clouds it's vision and slows it down. There are also many more powerups.
The cars are another cool thing. You've got all the Nascar cars and Nascar trucks that are in real life in this game. You can also unlock legends to race with or race against. The legends range from Davey Allison to Richard Petty, to a bunch of other legendary Nascar drivers. You can aslo unlock bonus cars. They range from tow trucks, to hot rods, and even golf carts. Buy this game today.
