4-0 out of 5 stars Achtung panzers!Forward to battle.
I have been playing this game for about 5 years now and still do enjoy it.It gives a realistic feeling to the battles on the eastern front from a strategic point of view.
The only problems I had was the Rostov scenario was not operational. In the scenario builder versions, the Russians seem to run out of steam as to quality fighting units as they are destroyed by the Germans. This was not the case in real life. The T-34's just kept on coming.I also wish that the player had more control over what weaponsry he could choose from in the scenario builder much like in PGII.This is a dated review.I would hope that SSI would update and make a new game.

1-0 out of 5 stars A waste of time and money
As an avid fan of PG2 and still love to play the game, even with the advent of x-box and the other console games. I was hoping that this game would live up to my much beloved PG2.

I was sadly mistaken, this game SUCKS! I even upgraded my video card to handle it and what a waste. I played it once and yeah the graphics are cool, but the game is slow and has nothing of the depth and features of PG2.

Im staying with PG2 and thinking of selling my game to some sucker on EBAY.

5-0 out of 5 stars Different taste of PG
Pnzer General series are the best wargames for years. Every PG is better than the previous one. PG2 was fantastic and still it is. But I don't know I am playing PG3 for months and still I couldn't find the taste of PG2. Graphics, animations and sound is very good, they are 3D. The battles are from eastern front. But I didn't like the slot thing. I would like to see good old prestige points instead of slots. In PG3 we can't build a large army as we did in PG2. Only 10-12 units including 2 bomber and 1 fighter is not enough. Of course your enemy has the same number of units. It doesn't give me the taste of PG2's huge battlefields. We can't have numbers of same unit. Like we can only have 1 king tiger or 2 panther in a scenario. I used to have tens of tanks and artillery in PG2 and in PG3 it is like small tactical combats and also the maps are smaller than PG2. Of course game has many good points. As I said 3D graphics and animations are really good. Watching our tanks rolling down the hills or our bombers diving for attack is well done. And it is harder than the previous PG's. This time we can move our units more than once and we can attack to enemy units more than once in one turn. I remember in one turn I opened fire for six times with my Panther. We can move our artillery and infantry with trucks, disembark them, attack, and embark again and move in one turn. There are 3 different scenario types, the classic one capture enemy cities, second one get your units out of map which you are trying to move your units out from the map from designated places and the third one is the search and destroy missions which we are trying to destroy some specific enemy units. Those are the good stuff. I liked it but not as much as PG2. But if you are a Panzer General fan like me, you'll play it till you like it.

3-0 out of 5 stars No hot seat multiplayer!!!
The game has great graphics and sound, but too many bugs that can't be corrected by patches. And no hot seat multiplayer, it REALLY needs that option. Another thing that bugs me (ha ha) is that in the battle maker you can't change the placement of victory locations also it can be disappointing to not be able to play your 3 player game except on the internet. Still PGIII is a big improvement over Panzer General 2 in that in PGII the only way to win is to take over all the victory locations or destroy all the enemy's units. In PGIII there are 4 ways to win, which really adds to the flavor of the game.

1-0 out of 5 stars God-Awful Terrible
This has to be one of the worst FPS's I have ever played in my entire life.It can be summed up as the following;
NEVER EVER BUY THIS GAME
EVER
NEVER EVER
Plentiful bugs, horrible graphics, shoddy coding, and registration that signs you up for spyware all help to make this one of the worst FPS games ever released upon an unsuspecting public.
Want a fast online FPS?Go buy Unreal Tournament or Quake 3 Arena or ANYTHING BUT THIS!

1-0 out of 5 stars frustrating and invasive
I was looking for a single player first person shooter. What I got was signed up to a lot of online spyware. I did not expect the game to require an online connection to play, and I resented being subjected to a gaming paysite as I loaded the game. Otherwise, the game might have been fun... except that I could not figure out how to save anything.. having to start out from the beginning every time got old fast. I was persuaded to buy the game by all the other glowing reviews; thus my advice... don't waste your time or money!

5-0 out of 5 stars ROCKIN
Don't bother buying any other fps, this game rocks. Single player mode is a good way to get comfortabe w/ controls, then g
et ready for some awsome, violent, game play on line. it works solid on my xp, no problems w/ connection, & very addictive game play.I'v played UT2&3 I always default back to Gore.

5-0 out of 5 stars For 56K modems this is your FPS Game
The engine coding and online performance is so slick - I could compete even with a 56K modem. That did it for me. It's the only game I know where I can do well with a slow modem.

The single player game plays like Doom2, only the graphics are much, much better (ofcourse). The multiplayer absolutely rockxs.
If Ut2K3 has the STAM drain feature then I would say it is just as good as GORE! But it doesn't. GORE is in the same class as SoF, just at 1/3 the price.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great game
The first foremost negative aspect about this game is the fact that it doesn't really have a soundtrack. It's only got two songs on the CD and this is quite a shock and disapointment since, for example, Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries had a full, awesome soundtrack. Nevertheless, the 2 songs seemlesly integrate themselves into the feeling and the repeats aren't that noticeable.

The game has a good plot, good graphics and good action. In multiplayer it's even better, but the system of finding a server could have been easier and more straight-forward. Matching is done via a Microsoft website where you can find games and chatrooms and you also need to have installed Zonematch, a small program similar to MSN Messenger. In my opinion everything should be incorporated into an in-game multiplayer interface, just like the majority of other titles out there.

You, along with other troops are sent on a mission to neutralize enemy forces occupying a planet. As you reach orbit the dropships are shot down by enemy forces. You have to fight your way through, meet up with your other lancemates that were also shot down and find a way to get off the planet alive while at the same time driving to accomplish your mission.

The game puts you in the cockpit of awesome, powerful, 80-ton humanoid warmachines with enough firepower to level a city. The array of mechs and arsenal won't disappoint. Customize your warmachine any way you want and take it to the battlefield.
I especially like the mission commentaries, video feeds and voice acting, they're very well done and really help create the overall atmosphere.

BE ADVISED! The game out of the box may have slight incompatibility issues with Windows XP especially if you have Service Pack 2 installed, so make sure you grab yourself the latest game update patch from the internet! Once patched it runs without any problems.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good, easy fun
I've loved all of the Mechwarrior games, they are always so easy: stand and pick other Mechs off at extreme long range. Besides graphics changes the two big changes are a nice zooming rectile, to make those long-range shots easier and a "Mobile Field Base" that will fix you up in the middle of a mission. All of this makes the campaign short, just 10 hours or so.

I had one glaring problem, it wouldn't install or run on Windows 2000. Maybe I could have gotten it to run if I had hunted down and hand-installed all the files. It ran without a single hitch on Windows 98SE.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good game
MechWarrior 3 is a great game. The graphics are a little outdated but it is a few years old. the SFX are great too, they are very true to weapon and are not of poor quality. On my pc (p4 2.0GHz, 512mb ddr333, Geforce mx440, 10,000rpm SCSI HD and Windows XP) it runs without any skipping or latency. The Campaigns are the best of any game I've played but some times I am at a loss as my copy did not come with a manual. This is by far the best mechwarrior game in existence (MW4 not so much because of the fact you do not have much freedom with creating new 'Mechs).

5-0 out of 5 stars Old Soldier, New Mech
I haven't been following the Battle Tech series very closely, and have lost track of its history. But I am told, and have read that Mech Warrior stems from it.
Believe it or not, I found the Battle Tech series when I was a Private on the rise in the U.S. Army. That was over 20 years ago, and I've heard that BattleTech is over 15 years in history. Go figure! Anyway, about 7 years ago, I read about Mech Warrior and was stunned. Wow! What a toy to have! (GAME for PC) I grabbed a few pictures, and did a little reading. Then I acquired, MechWarrior - Hawks Revenge. I still have it around here somewhere - I think in storage. It was a fun game to play. Who wouldn't like dancing around in a 40 to 100 ton Battle tank with legs? Now Last year, I downloaded MechWarrior 3 (No CD, no disks, nothing! Just a download) and I have been in love ever since. Again - who wouldn't love dancing around in a 40 to 100-ton Mech? The guns, the power, the speed! My God, the speed! I have a pentium 4 running Windows XP. And man, the speed and fluidity of the program is awesome. I'm a graphic artist and I love eye-candy. This game gives me a high that you won't believe. My family gets upset because when I feel like making noise and blowing things up, it's Mechwarrior 3 on the PC! They like to play too (and my family is my girlfriend and my niece - both whom I call "Lady MechWarriors" - They play that well). However, sometimes, the program does drop out on its own. Yet it is not enough to annoy me or cause alarm. I just hit go, and I'm back in the business of shredding mech metal. It is, however, a good idea to shut down any non-essential programs that may be running in the background, in order to keep it from becoming a headache. That is, unless those programs are essential to keep the computer up and running. Usually, I shut down ICQ, and any other programs that may enable a pop up advertising window, or system message window. For a little while, I can live without them. And the PC doesn't mind either. From then on, it is BANG-BANG-BOOM! Good-bye Smoke Jaguar!
So, if you are new to the Mech Warrior Universe, read the books (any that you can find), play the games. Immerse yourself and have fun. If you are an old soldier like me (1st Cavalry, Co. C 2/7th Cav - '80 - '83), then put it on, it will look good on you! I haven't stopped (After a hard days work, it's always a trip into fantasyland and a visit with my fellow Infantrymen from days gone by), and I have completed the game several times. Now my new love is "Mech Assault"....
But that is another love story to be written.

3-0 out of 5 stars My MW3 playing days are long gone.
This game could have been incredible, a follow up to the Mechwarrior 2 series. It was ok. But that doesn't do it anymore. Now we want the best ever and for FASA to live up to it's record.

Graphics
Good for 1998.Looking back it probably had the best graphics for maybe an hour of two but this is still ok.The environments ever change until the end with the onlt difference in the sky.Guns look ok.The mechs are great looking and explode decent.I loved the mission previews.P>Sound/Music
The music is a repeating eerie war tune which gets on your nerves after a while. The sound is about the same as in other mech games with the machines and weapons.

Controls
MW3 is a decent game until this. The controls are so screwed up it's sick. When I first played this in 1998, it was a steo up from 1996's MW2EP.

Story
The story is this; It's 3060.The Clan wars have been going on for a while. You are going to this planet to finish them off.But most of the people get shot down.So you go around killing everything from stray people to the boss himself.Rocks.

Misc.
The weapons are the same, the mechs are less. The missions are challenging and once you beat the game just put it away.

If you have MW4 and want to buy this, don't.Go start to MW2 unless you're a diehard fan... ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars BEST FREAKIN GAME EVER!
IF YOU HAVE WINDOWS XP AND WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME, THEN GOOD LUCK, CUZ YOUR GOING TO NEED IT! I SPENT 41 HOURS INSTALLING AND REINSTALLING AND CONFIGURING AND UPDATING AND PATCHING AND REINSTALLING AND CHANGING INTERNET PROTOCOLS ALL BECAUSE WESTWOOD CANT SUPPORT A QUALITY PRODUCT FOR 8 YEARS! THIS GAME IS BASED OFF OF WINDOWS 95, AND WINDOWS XP IS BASED OFF OF WINDOWS NT, HENCE THE CONFLICT! INSTALLING IS A BREEZE, BUT DONT THINK ABOUT PLAYING LAN WITHOUT INSTALLING ANCIENT IPX PROTOCOLS, BECAUSE THATS ALL WESTWOOD USES!

But if you do happen to install the game and configure your IPX Protocols properly then you will have access to THE GREATEST GAME EVER INVENTED!!!

And yes.. I just got my copy of Red Alert running a lan game on a XP machine and an ME machine.. No please, no applauss.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Best Red Alert Ever!!
-This is the best version of Red Alert. The Expansion version of this one (Red Alert Counterstrike) is even better!! I have tried many other strategy game by this same company, but the original Red Alert and its expansion is by far the best!!

5-0 out of 5 stars the best
This game is the best game just like gameslice pc gamer and computer life think it is. Great levels, buildings and war trucks/men.A little bad picture great sound.

3-0 out of 5 stars This game is moderately strategic
I played this game for a bit and found it was ok. It was very violent and futuristic, but i guess thats what teenagers want these days. I found the campaigns very easy, as I beat them in a week. The game isnt very strategic, but it has it's strategy points. This game should not be rated 5 stars. The graphics are mediocre, the music is annoying, and the gameplay is slightly boring after a while. As you go through the world as either the Russians or the English, you face many campaigns that you must beat. It was clever of them to put them together, but they are very easy. You can go along several paths, another plus, but the paths all end the same way if you win.

This game is also not very strategic. You are either allied or soviet, and each team has completely different units. That maybe strategic, but there are only 2 points of views to master. In Age of Empires or Age of Kings, there are many different civilizations each with bonuses and special units. Also, the terrain has no affect on how damage is dealt. It will just deal the same amount every time. No matter to what kind of unit. In AOK, each unit has a different amount of armor, some have attack bonuses against certain units, and units have the advantage in battle when they are uphill.

This game is also very violent and bloody with futuristic weapons. Not the kind of game i would like my kids playing. In AOK, the units use bows, arrows, and swords, with not much blood and historical features. It also has a whole history book of all the tribes that you can be and their history.

Oh. What the point of the game is. Blow the other team to bits with guns as big as you can.

I didnt like this game much, and from my review, you can see that I would reccommend Age of Empires or Age of Kings. See my review of Age of Empires Collecter's Edition. Before you even consider buying this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best game ever
This is by far the best game I have ever played. I've owned it for a long long time and still I am not bored of it. If you like real time stragety games you will love this. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

In a land overrun with monsters and villains, the mighty wizard Asheronhas sent out a call to the bravest warriors and spell casters to return to theland of Dereth via magic portals. You and thousands of other Internet-connectedplayers assume these adventurers in Asheron's Call.

Unlike other massively multiplayer online role-playing games (or MMORPG, if youprefer), Asheron's Call takes a more holistic approach to game design. In the arena of character generation, rather than simply choosing a characterclass such as warrior or wizard, characters are designed based on the spendingof skill points. If you want to play as a wizard that also dabbles in swordplay,Asheron's Call lets you make that decision. And unlike other MMORPGsavailable today, Asheron's Call offers a seamless world that avoids thelengthy halts whenever an entire new area is downloaded to the player's localcomputer. The game achieves this by performing constant smaller downloads behindthe scenes. The only noticeable load times occur when you actually delve into adungeon.

These and other innovations--such as an intriguing combat system that involveschoosing specific hit locations (which vary from opponent to opponent), amulticomponent spell fabrication system, and extensive character appearancepossibilities numbering in the hundreds--make Asheron's Call an enjoyableand new experience for all.

One specific innovation merits special mention--the practice of allegiances. AnyMMOPRG will be a bit confusing to new players upon their arrival, regardless ofwhether they have played games of this genre or not. Usually, with politepersistence, new players can discover what they need to know from the moreexperienced players. Asheron's Call has taken this fact of virtual lifeand incorporated it into the game through allegiances. An established characterwill offer to become a "patron" of another, resulting in a formal relationshipin which the elder gives assistance, and perhaps some equipment, while the"vassal" is obligated to perform certain services. The vassal can in turn becomea patron down the road, thus bringing a full feudal flavor to the game.

Depending on the number of vassals a patron has, he or she can even gain titleand access to equipment he or she could not have had otherwise. This means amultitude of players will look to assist new arrivals, and, as either side canend the allegiance, be responsible to uphold their ends of the bargain.

Oddly, unlike in other MMORPGs, your sword and sorcery alter ego on Dereth mustbe human (though you may select from three different ethnicities). For thosewishing to play elves or ogres, other games of this genre are better suited.Again we see this lack of diversity in character roles. While you can spendcharacter points to increase skills typical for rogues, warriors, priests, orwizards, these are the limit of your choices. Those who wish to assume the roleof other fantasy staples, such as that of a necromancer or bard, need to lookelsewhere.

But for those who prefer in-depth detail over archetypal breadth, or for thosewho don't care and just like the idea of adventuring in a world with thousandsof other online colleagues, Asheron's Call is a call worth answering.--Brus Wasson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Its a bunch of fun.
This is game is pure fun. Its addictive. Im not writing much because i just got odne writing why not to buy ac2. Not kidding. Look for my other post for alot of info on ac1. Its under ac2 reveiws. Name -- doesn't cut it -- AC1 has alot of landscpae, lvls, ppl, skills, and jsut alot of other things, tkae my word for it, ITS AN AWSOME GAME.

5-0 out of 5 stars Greatest RPG on the Market
This is the best game I have ever played. It never gets old, because it changes every month.I highly recommend this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Asheron's Call, the Greatest MMORPG in Existence
Still alive and well, AC has some life in it.I've played since release and love it more today than I did then.Sure theres a monthly fee, but the game gets new monsters, quests, items, game systems, etc.EVERY month. For many there is no need for another game to play! So that a flat rate there, $ for all your computer gaming for a year!Tis an incredible deal. The above reviews are very old, cheaters have been removed.Wonderful third party applications have been added that enhances the game, allowing one to chat on IRC while in-game, control Winamp while in-game, etc. These fall under the plug-in Platform "Decal", found on Sourceforge. Balance has returned to Asheron's Call, some will always do better at some monsters than others, its the advantages of that class. But thats just it!These days if ya don't like how you've done your char, you can make some adjustments via new quests. The skill system of Asheron's Call is of untold beauty and far out does any other game in existence, especially Ever Quest or Asheron's Call 2. AC is a very social game, allegiances take care of their own and will help many a newbie. However, one can survive very well as a soloer, I am kinda a mixture of both. Theres puzzles, tons of quests, PKing (by choice), Trading (an unimaginably dynamic economy), and so soo much more...

5-0 out of 5 stars DON'T BUY USED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT WON'T WORK!!!!!!!!!!!! If the previous user used the subscrpition coupon then you wont be able to play it. So if they played it at all, you cannot play it. It's a great game though.

3-0 out of 5 stars I'm addicted - but getting bored
I've been playing AC for about 20 months. The game was outstanding for the first several months. The landscape plus the challenge of creating an allegiance of other players to complete quests was fun.As the game went on, cheaters and hackers have ruined the game.Turbine almost refuses to discipline or ban them, I guess they're afraid to lose money. The last 6-8 months, I've noticed that very, very, very few people are joining the game. While turbing has worked to provide low level content, it's not being used. The high level content is there mostly for mages.Warriors are pretty much left out of the fun.In fact, just the other day, my level 67 warrior was having kills stolen by a level 42 mage!!!This should just not happen. ... I have played Everquest and Earth and beyond as well as a little know game called Avalon ...Online games, yet, the detail to which Ulima Online creates a world is well beyond any other game, on or off line...Example I have a character that is a tailor. He hunts animals and prepares their hides, then sews their hides into boots, shoes and leather armor to sell....That's not all...he collects cotton from plants, wool from shearing sheep, then spins it on a wheel, uses a loom and makes the thread and yarn into cloth...dyes the cloth and sews clothes to wear or sell, everything from hats to pants to kilts and dresses, includeing cloaks. He regularly rides a horse that requires feeding and needs resting on occasion. His weapons need to be repaired by interaction with Blacksmith characters. He lives in a small tower with furniture and everything. Now thats detail! He is a Paladin and lives by the code. The detailed game play of your fantacy is also enhanced by other roleplayers in the game...such things as greeting courtesies take on a whole new meaning with characters rangeing from paladins to necromancers and the latest in player designed characters.Whether you wish to design your own characters or pick from a selection, I think you will findthis game captivateing...I would, however, caution you to limit your game play...this game can be a little addicting.Enjoy!

5-0 out of 5 stars UO is a great roleplay!
Ultima Online is a very impressive and immersive game. There are many options available in the huge, diverse online world that this game offers. I found that I was easily able to create a character and become a part of the community with little trouble. Some of the occupations are Tailor, Carpenter, Pure Mage, Animal Tamer, Blacksmith, and many more. Plus, there are thousands of real people online all the time that you can talk to. I think Ultima Online is one of the best role play games that the computer world currently has to offer.

1-0 out of 5 stars Renaissance ruined the game
Ultima Online Renaissance ruined the original games potential to be a very good multiplayer game. Its no longer worth the time or money to play.

Amazon.com Review

Revolutionizing the online first-person shooter genre with a seamless indoor/outdoor game engine, Starsiege Tribes backs up its snazzy technology with sophisticated online-only gameplay. Tribes is the perfect game for action fans looking for something more cerebral than Quake but less complicated than Rogue Spear.

Players are able to customize their high-tech warrior to suit individual play styles: snipers will go with light armor, extra battery pack, and a laser rifle; fans of less-subtle tactics will grab heavy armor, a mortar, plasma gun, and shield pack to create a walking tank. This level of customization adds an unusual amount of depth for a game in the first-person shooter genre, and it's fun to mix up gear choices in order to react to battlefield conditions.

And oh, what a beautiful battlefield it is. Players begin the game within their home base, but once free of those crowded halls, a limitless vista greets the eyes. Rolling hills, snow-covered peaks, and eerie moonscapes provide a stunning backdrop to the action as players zoom around with jetpacks. Outposts, towers, and weapon emplacements provide strategic objectives and sniping platforms; hovercraft and personnel carriers allow quick transport and airborne assaults.

Blasting your way across the world of Tribes is fun, but it's not the only gameplay option. Less action-oriented gamers can assume the role of Commander and issue orders to teammates. The Commander is especially useful during matches that require intricate teamwork, such as capture the flag, capture and hold, and defend and destroy. --Mike Fehlauer

Pros:

  • Can pick weapons and equipment to suit mood and play style
  • Visually impressive game engine
  • Jetpacks
Cons:
  • Poor tutorial

5-0 out of 5 stars apex of gaming
Tribes is the best game ever made on the face of the earth. This is THAT game. Miss the golden age of gaming? Tribes came out at the same time as Half-Life, and many people overlooked the game that could have brung it about a second time. It's a bit too late now, unfortunately. The community is pretty much gone. Unfortunately, many of the people that play it now are rather childish and 'elitist', which may detract from the experience unless you have a group you can play it with. Approach this game at your own risk. It's the best.

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST GAME ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH
Starsiege Tribes is (by a Hiroshima) the best game on our planet. There is so much, I repeat, SO MUCH to do in the tribes universe. One problem with the game that is a problem but once you play you'll forget: NO single player. The multiplayer is SO good that this game should be called BUBBA and Halo and all those other[...] games should be renamed BUBBA'S[...]. For $10 or less, you cannot beat this. Get it. Absorb it. Die a happy gamer. You will not regret it my friends.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Game Ever
Tribes is the best game of all time, of any genre, in any human culture in the history of the Earth.

If Tribes had a downside, it would be that the player, when in the Tribes universe, no longer is affected by the normal rules of Time that we all know and are normally governed by. The side effects of this include Agelessness (and the consequences thereof) and, after prolonged exposure, inability to percieve time correctly when not in the Tribes universe (sped up/slowed down perception of time, as well as, in extreme cases, 'slippage', the inability to maintain a fixed path through the flow of time). Also Tribes simulates a mild euphoria that tends to keep the Tribes player in the Tribes universe indefinitely. If properly supervised, the Tribes player can be brought back out of the Tribes universe at regular intervals, but it must be a slow transition to avoid permanent damage.

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing Game
Vehicles. Vast outdoor environments. Focus on teamplay. Online support for at least 32 players. Base equipment and trinkets. Jetpacks offering full freedom of movement. Mixing and matching gear to create your own roles. Never the same game twice. Even today these features make Tribes stand out in a crowd of other FPS games, but several years ago when the original Tribes was released, it was downright revolutionary. Whether you bought the box, downloaded the demo, or "borrowed" it from a buddy, chances are you've tried Tribes. If not, then you've still experienced its influence in any number of other games that have since embraced its successful combination of features

Best of all? Its free on FilePlanet!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great game, but why pay for it?
You already know that Tribes is a great game from the other reviews, but did you know you can now get it for free?

With the upcoming release of "Tribes: Vengeance", Vivendi Studios has made Starsiege: Tribes available for free to the public, downloadable off of www.fileplanet.com.So don't bother paying tewnty bucks for the jewel case, when you can have the full version of the game within hours for free, instead of within days for upwards of thirty dollars. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for the lonely player
This is not a game for just anyone, you have to purchase your product as if it were regular MTG. If thats not a problem, or you already play MTG this is pretty close to the real thing. The really great thing besides various types of MTG is that there are tournies, drafts, leagues etc... You can trade cards, chat, post cards for sale. Collecting a whole online set, you can trade it in for a physical set. The gaming options are are endless. Plus if you get home say 3am and want to play, there's always someone to play.

1-0 out of 5 stars Appalled.Read on to know why.
I want to make it clear right now that I have not played this game and never will. This isn't because I believe it to be a bad game.In fact, I have been waiting for a game with an interface as I've seen described.Right after I heard of it I searched around.YOU HAVE TO PAY TO USE THE CARDS YOU WANT!!!!YOU have to pay to use DIGITAL cards!!!!!!!!
I immediately left the web site after seeing that in search of a SENSIBLE Magic online game.I found the incredible Magic the Gathering Interactive Encyclopedia, which lets you use any of the thousands of Magic cards in existance at your will to battle opponents online. It even had a deckbuilding judge that gave you an analasis of your deck.Alas, this game is no longer on sale, but I urge anyone who reads this review to get the message to Wizards that we just want an updated version of that game! And if you agree or disagree with me, please voice your opinion by voting on whether this review was useful to you or not.

1-0 out of 5 stars What an INCOMPLETE CD
Now normaly when you buy an online game thats supposed to be a full version, you have expectations of playing that game soon after installing it. Well i must say that i installed this game in the late morning and I am STILL DOWNLOADING files and updates that are an apparent requirement FIVE HOURS later! For all of us that still are in the unfortunate dark age of dial up modems, the phone bill is going to be more expensive then the game is! And i havent even played it yet! If they plan on so many updates for a game that KNOWS it will require them, WotC should constantly send out new UPDATED CD's so that an entire day doesnt have to go by just to start playing a game. So to all those people out there that have dial up like myself, either switch to DSL or cable now or just dont bother with Magic Online. People are complaining about spending money on online cards, im complaining about spending more money on the game itself than i have to!

5-0 out of 5 stars Magic Online too Expensive? No - Its Cheap!
Many here say that magic Online is a great game, but unfortunatly its too expensive. How ca that be? Finally you can make a living playing magic. Drafting in Boosterdrafts cost you appx. 12$ to get started but if you are anything but a newbie to Magic, you can go a long way by selling the drafted cards, getting you to next booster draft and setting some of the cards aside from every draft. Id say that in comparision to playing Magic in real life, you can come VERY far with an investment of say... 25 $. For my 12$ I still play drafts, you only need to get used to selling the Rares that only takes unwanted space in your collection... GG Magic... Good Game Wizards of the Coast!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great!
I play magic, but i never really had anyone to play with other than a couple of my friends. I got this, and i can play whenever i want to! It doesnt matter that you have to pay for the cards, because you can sell the virtual ones on ebay for more money than the cardboard ones! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Has ANYONE bothered to read a history book?
Once again we have a game that has the title of a subject but has nothing to do with that subject.

To you reviewers that just had to give this game glowing reviews: what are you guys???Computer games salesmen???C'mon give me a break!Have any of you guys even read "All Quiet on the Western Front"???That's a work of fiction by the way!I won't EVEN go into good history books on the subject because the designer's wouldn't know what I am talking about. That goes for YOU too "the glowing reviewer's".

A "kid's reviewer", I ask: have you EVER given any products anything less than four stars???I don't think you're a kid at all nor do I need to check. You are a salesman no matter what your real age is.

Out of ALL the subjects that a Real Time Strategy game could succeed on showing history "this could have been it"!!!

You game designers really suck!Your VERY lucky you do NOT work for me.I would make you do some required reading and turn in a book report to me.

I am an Infantry Bradley Fighting Vehicle Commander. So far, every real time strategy game I have played had been a BIG disappointment. What's even more discouraging is I see fixes to almost every fundamental problem I see.

Every different game has good features and excellent ideas BUT the good ideas are in this game and that game, no one game has got it all together. You guys are so lost because you haven't bothered to get good data on your subject.I think you probably believe anyone who tells you its realistic!

Let's address some of my issues with this game:

#1:It is buggy and I have a high performance computer.A P4 HT with 3.2 GHz and a high end video card should have NO problem handling this game. But yet it always locks up on me here and there unexpectantly.I can imagine what the other players are going thru.

#2:I say again, read a freaking history book!!!First of all WWI was a different war on every single front.I will address the Western Front.Tanks were RARE very, very rare. When they assaulted the trenches already 50% were knocked out by mechanical problems.Doe's that happen in this game???

Assaulting the trenches was something else.It took months of planning for any assault. For local Commanders on the ground, when the men went over the top, it was damn near auto-pilot until they reached their objective. That is, the Commanders had very little control over what happened in no mans land.Only the Platoon Leaders and NCOs who were motivating men under fire had any control what so ever. Now I ask anyone who has played this: did what I just describe resemble this game???If you just said yes, then get out of in front of your computer and go to your local library.

#3:This game puts you in control over building your resources in a tactical setting. When I saw that, my first thought was why they didn't just dump the whole gather resources thing. It's totally unrealistic in ANY real time strategy game I have seen, especially in a game of WWI on the Western Front.

Ok that's enough of bashing this game. One thing I hate more than an unrealistic game on a historical subject are REVIEWERS saying it's like the real thing. That just shows me how history is being rewritten in the information age.Get a clue people!!!History has a real bad habit of repeating itself when people forget what really happened. That is why it is important to actually know it.

Don't let some computer programmer teach you about history. That is what is happening here with this game and many others. They do this to make money, destroying your mind and culture is quite profitable nowdays.

Bottom line: if you came here to see what WWI was like, this is NOT it.Read "All Quiet on the Western Front" instead. It's funny how a work of fiction is more realistic than this game is.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not bad, but...
Elements of this game appeal to certain folks. The resource gathering and harvesting may appeal to some and be annoying to others. It wasn't a problem for me, but it's not really my thing. I had enough of resource cultivation playing Civilization 3. Not all RTS games require this involvement. Most the ones I have do not, yet reviewers make it seem unique to one particular game or the other. Most of the games I have do have set limits on how much ammunition, supplies, tanks, guns, aircraft, etc, that a player has on hand at any given time. This is not unique.

Moving past the resource hurdle, the game itself is ok. It's very simple and it does involve a lot more micromanagement than I'd prefer. Some people like this sort of thing. It's your call.

The animations vary a great deal, from Civ3 style to Sudden Strike/Blitzkrieg quality. The airplanes are very arcade-like, pulling sharp turns these aircraft could not make.

I won't say this game sucks, because it doesn't. But after other RTS games I have and play, this one finds a cozy spot on my CD tower for a day when I got nothing else left to do.

Again, I don't know where the game crashes come from because I do not have this problem. I have a PII 400Mghz with 512MB RAM, 128MB Radeon 9200 and a secondary HD. And I run Win98SE out of sheer stubborness. A lot of users here apparently use XP, so that may be it. If your computer is not stable, you may have problems with ANY game you play.

5-0 out of 5 stars one of the bet games ive played
This game is one of the best i've played! It is acurate, there are no glitches, it's one shot kill for infantry, and the graphics are perfect for a strategy game.
All those people writing bad things about the game, some of the things may be rite, but there is no reason to beleive all of them.
All in all, I think this game on an average basis is above average, so buy it. I recomend it. :)

5-0 out of 5 stars What were the other reviewers thinking
I had a blast playing this game. The other reviewers were slamming the game on false ground. First, the game never crashed or had programming problems. Second, you could un-garrison any building you wanted. The advisors help you at the start of the game to micro manage all the resources. Since resources never run out you can concentrate on the military points of the game. The game has a very real feeling. Each bullet you fire has some cost of iron. The tanks constantly need oil. The infantry constantly take up provisions. The graphics are not as good as Warcraft 3 but at Age of Empires 2 level. The campaigns are historically accurate, I know this, I am a history buff. The units are accurate also. The game is fun to play. The game is great to summarize. If you love history this will definably impress you. So would any average Strategy gamer. Great is the way to summarize the game.

1-0 out of 5 stars Disappointed
I was really looking forward to a WWI strategy game with gritty trench warefare, supply lines, artillery barages, etc. However, this game is more like the old Command and Conquer, but no where near as simple or intuitive. There are way to many resources to worry about, and just the whole game system does not "feel" like WWI.Instead of commanding thousands, the gamer only commands handfuls. There are no trenches, no machine gun pits, no lookout balloons...

I would like to echo the "in the darkness" comment. In WWI, the armies certainly had map makers, binoculars, and other tools to help keep track of terrain.I mean, come on, we had those tools in the Civil War!This might be the most irritating thing about the game.

The enemies are also not held back enough.A computer can multitask in a game like this much better than a human, and there don't seem to be any controls to counter this.About 20 minutes into each mission, despite my best efforts, I was overrun by hordes of enemy troops from multiple angles with little chance of a successful defense.I've beaten all of the various Warcraft games, so I know how to play this type of game.

Unfortunately, this just isn't fun.I'm terribly disappointed.Don't waste your money or your time. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Corporate policies
Problem with EQ is that Sony has decided to consider paying customers as a secondary concern. Here are some of the problems you will face in purchasing this product.

Firstly, if you don't have every expansion, then Sony will attempt to get you to buy that expansion with a pop up window. Never mind that you are already paying them to play their game. Friend of mine got all but the latest expansion and got harassed immediately the day he signed up. Current expansion (Omens of War) doesn't come out until August. They started harassing us 2 or 3 weeks ago about it. This will continue on a daily basis and there is no way to play the game without dealing with it. You can't ignore it or escape out of it. There is no way to turn the solicitation off. Not Sonys policy. Glad my playstation doesn't do the same thing.

Secondly, bugs can take weeks or never to be fixed. Sony has been prioritizing releasing expansions and making changes to the game instead of fixing the bugs that have been present for some time. For example, boats were a long standing problem (years) that never worked properly. Boats are a method of travel through zones and sometimes the only way to get into a zone. With Gates of Discord what do they add? MORE BOATS. Yup, these didn't work either. Go fig.

Customer service. Well if your having issues in game, it will take anywhere from hours to weeks to get assistance. The only way to receive help is to stay logged into the game until you get a response (and hopefully you will be looking at your screen at that time). If you log out, your request will be deleted. They tend to have many loopholes as far as player assistance is concerned. Like not having 'exact' verbage for example. Also, if you need outside technical help, the employees working for Sony will either tell you to petition in game (see the beginning of this paragraph for how effective that is) or tell you to check the online help file. In game help is a strictly volunteer basis (ie they are not paid employees) so they have no obligation to log in frequently.

Now if all those problems don't detour you, here are the benefits. Other people I have met online can be a joy to work with. EQ is a game designed for grouping and it is strongly encouraged. Many zones to explore with various mobs to fight. Quests are fun for items or faction (exp is always negliable). There is tradeskilling, which can be tiresome but also a good way to bring in income. It is a hack and slash game though. Don't you think otherwise. Thats the only way to get any exp to level.

Regarding this expansion, this is by far one of the best expansions they have come out with. If I had to recommend expansions it would be Planes of Power, Shadows of Luclin and this one. Everyone is doing adventures the problem is finding people to do adventures with that are within 7 levels of your characters level. Great expansion... too bad the customer service is sub par.

5-0 out of 5 stars Solid Everquest expansion
Solid expansion to the MMORPG EQ - Basically you get a group of 3 or more and enter a Dungeon (5 themes, 8 random dungeons each) and a "quest" to do while in it. You get 90 minutes for a normal risk and i think 2 hours for a hard. You and your group go in, complete the mission, go back out and you get Adventure points which you can eventually use to buy NICE items from the merchants.

I suggest buying this only if youre over level 20

5-0 out of 5 stars Power Leveling
A very well spent $25.No need to camp for good drops or loot anymore. The "instancing" of dungeons in the game for your party only ensures that you and your party are the only ones in the dungeon. It automatically adjusts the difficulty to the level of your party (so have highest level enter first for best loot and experience). The dungeons are supposedly for between 4-6 persons, but don't try it with only 4 unless your party members are "super-twinked" and experienced with good communication.Add the weight-reducing bag you get for doing the easy quest, and it makes sense to buy this retail version..with the "digital download" you don't get a bag.Don't forget to upgrade it to the 10 slot Giant bag by doing a bit more quest work. - Susy Whorton

4-0 out of 5 stars EQ: Lost Dungeons of Norrath: Adds (some) new life to game
This is a review strictly of EverQuest: Lost Dungeons of Norrath (LDoN). As this package does not include the basic game, and is only an expansion, this is not a review on the game as a whole.

While there is a lot of talk about how one can do many different things in EverQuest, for everyone but the most obsessive tradeskillers, it comes down to killing things and taking their stuff. The various expansions have let players do this in the jungle, on a frozen continent, do it on the moon, in a pirate stronghold, or in the homes of the gods themselves. In all of these locations, players move through areas shared with other players -- sometimes only a handful of other players, but in some cases up to 100 or more people interested in the same content.

This new expansion breaks that model for the first time, by creating content on the fly for players, in the form of dungeons for groups numbering 3 to 6, that ONLY exists for them. (Other players get their own instanced copies of these dungeons to explore.) While some players feel this flies in the face of the Multi-User Dungeon game tradition that EQ grew out of, it's a welcome change to not have to look over one's shoulder for other players at all times, or to have to compete over special "named" monsters and such.

The five LDoN dungeon "themes" (groups of different layouts in related dungeons) dynamically create content for groups from levels 20 to 65. The good news is that this makes the expansion potentially useful for the vast majority of players. In practice, however, it means players will be seeing a LOT of the same stuff, over and over again, as the creatures in a level 20 version of Deepest Guk are the same as in the level 65 version, just with different names and of a lot higher level.

The much-ballyhooed adventure points received for these adventures is something of a mixed bag as well. While it does allow players to save up for loot they want (in a codified version of a system a lot of player guilds have come up with on their own), the points were never really balanced for any characters other than the highest level ones -- it will take rougly 24 missions for a level 20 shaman to save up for a level 24 Spirit of Shrew spell (an indoor-useable movement speed increase spell that also allows its subjects to see in the dark -- quite a nice spell for low level characters), and by the time they've earned all these points, they will likely be level 29 or 30. Things get better after level 60, but prior to that, there is a great deal of this head-scratching lack of math on the part of the development team.

Likewise, the "interactive objects" -- chests and vases that players can open up and loot -- are better in theory than in practice. While they add a much-needed dimension to EQ, these items are relatively rare and almost are always trapped (including many with traps that can kill a group more or less instantly). In addition, two thirds of them require spells to deal with, and these spells are even more expensive than other low level spells, meaning most groups under level 60 simply won't be able to access this content. And, assuming all those hurdles are overcome, the loot inside ranges from OK (the same as any named NPCs in the dungeon might have had on them) to a mere handful of coins, calling into question as to whether the extraordinary efforts needed to open them were worth it after all.

Having said all that, the dungeons themselves are a great deal of fun, and offer 90 minute bursts of intense excitement, with rewards of several types awaiting successful adventurers. LDoN is not perfectly implemented (both Velious and the Planes of Power were far better designed and offer much more to a player), and is perhaps somewhat light on content for the cost, but overall has to be counted as a success, and is superior to both Legacy of Ykesha and the deservedly derided Shadows of Luclin expansion.

Recommended for EQ players between the levels of 20 and 65 who group up often and who already own Scars of Velious and the Planes of Power expansions.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best of the Expansions
I've been playing EverQuest(EQ) since the Ruins of Kunark release. I have all of the expansions available for EQ. Out of all the expansions this one takes the cake. Most players can only get to a handful of the zones offered in the other expansions without the aid of other players which makes them (other expansions) frustrating. In this expansion All the adventure zones are in the original released zones on EQ. People MUST group to do an adventure. The timer on each adventure adds to the excitement. Win or Lose Players are bound to have fun!
*please note that you must reach lvl 20 to enter an adventure. Oasis is a good place to work on your high teen lvls-High lvls are around to take down the giants and buff you up if you ask NICELY! (entrance to an adventure is in this zone) ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars awesome game!
this game is one of the best computer games i've ever seen. the movie clips, especially the opening clip, have pretty good graphics. the plot is that the terrans are in a "war" with the vasudans when the shivans, a species of freaky five legged walking weapons with even better guns and shields, come in and kick both of their a$$es. you get a cornucopia(look it up) of valuable weapons, and there is no dearth(that one too) of available ships. your wingmen are smart, and you can give specific commands to one fighter, one wing, or everyone on your side. if you have an old computer and are worried about lag, i have it on a 1995 gateway computer, windows 98 and it runs great. i highly recommend this game to anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars the 12 year GIRL
this game is very strategetic and exciting you dont know whats going to happen. I love this game soooo much I play it almost every week when I dont have to study for any tests.I am addicted to this game that whenever I dont get a medal for each mission i play the mission over until i get a medal.I know that this has lots of violence and fighting against aliens or some odd mechanical robots and right of the back you know this is a boy game but guess what i am a girl and i LOVE this game.i am desperately trying to find freespace 2 in shops.the best game ever!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Game That Rivals TIE Fighter and X Wing
If you like Lucas Art's TIE Fighter or X Wing then you'll love this game, it has a very captivating storyline that pulls you into the game.

The game's graphics are not wonderful, but aren't the worst I have seen, but you rarely take time to notice as you are normally involved in some good combat, the hud is customizable to a degree, unlike some other space sims. The weapons are unique but the missles are pretty much left to be used on capital ships only later in the game. As you progress later in the game it becomes an all out fragfest and a series of "protect the" missions that can become rather hard and irritating if you paly them for the first time.

I do tohugh, still recomend this game to anyone, too bad Interplay went out of business so the only way to get it is used.....but its still a good game to have...

5-0 out of 5 stars The Greatest Space-Combat Game Ever Made
I have played many space-combat style games in my life, but none as good as this.

It's better than X-Wing, better than even the original Wing Commander (and that's saying something). This game features tons of cool missions which actually change objectives mid-mission (and sometimes are intentionally impossible to accomplish), all in the name of wondrous storytelling. The graphics are marvelous, even by today's standards, with perfect glowing particle explosions and neat shield-hit and hyperspace jump effects. The sounds are sweet (full of crunchy explosions and searing laser-fire), and the cut-scenes rank among the best ever seen in a pc game (the beginning and ending cinemas are two of my favorite ever, and who can forget the phrase "We hurled outselves into the void with no fear"?).

What really makes this game shine though is the perfect controls and the awesome computer-controlled A.I. The controls are super-intuitive(featuring the best keyboard layout I've ever seen in a space-combat sim), and allow you to tell your wingmen EXACTLY what you want them to do. This wouldn't be particularly cool, except that your wingmen actually are smart, and will always try to carry out your orders. And the enemy ships aren't exactly idiots either (resulting in that one bogey leading you away from your objectives instead of endless waves mindless enemies like you see so often nowadays). After many years of space combat (and considering the fact that I still keep a copy on my hard drive after all these years), I have come to the conclusion that this is the best space-combat game ever. I like it ever more than it's sequel (which DID feature better graphics but not a better storyline). A definite must-have on ANY PC gamer's list.

5-0 out of 5 stars one of the best games ever

Amazon.com Review

With Half-Life, 1998's Game of the Year; Team Fortress Classic, the incredibly popular multiplayer-only game; and Opposing Force, the most impressive expansion pack we've ever seen, Half-Life: Adrenaline Pack is a complete collection sure to alter any gamer's body chemistry.

Half-Life quietly debuted in late 1998, and the gaming community was forever changed. Instantly soaring to bestseller status, the groundbreaking title eventually earned over 50 Game of the Year awards. The combination of an intriguing, well-paced plot, smooth graphics, cunning enemy AI (artificial intelligence), brilliant level design, and revolutionary in-game scripted events make Half-Life an unforgettable gaming experience. You play as Gordon Freeman, a mild-mannered scientist assigned to handle hazardous materials in the government-funded Black Mesa Research Facility. Something goes wrong--horribly wrong--with one of the more exotic experiments, and Gordon must try to escape. Along the way, he has to try to rescue his fellow scientists, master the use of conventional and not-so-conventional weapons, avoid or kill bizarre alien monstrosities, and learn the true nature of the research at Black Mesa.

Team Fortress Classic is a multiplayer-only action game that uses the Half-Life game engine and interface. Ease of use and pulse-pounding game play have made TFC one of the most popular action games on the Net. Finding and connecting to games is a quick and painless process; once connected, any gamer will quickly feel at home. Players choose a character class from such World War II movie favorites as Scout, Pyro, Soldier, Engineer, Medic, Spy, Sniper, or Heavy Weapons Guy. The class determines your health, armor, speed, available weapons, and special ability. Special abilities range from the Medic's ability to heal comrades and poison foes to the Spy's ability to assume the guise of any other class.

It's the teamwork that makes TFC so much fun. Each player is a member of a team and must work with the other team members to accomplish the goals, of capturing the flag, base defense, or planning to kill the enemy VIP. An effective team includes a good mix of character classes and a leader of the team's efforts. The person in charge might assign a sniper to cover a large expanse of open ground or tell a team to take out an enemy bunker. The maps included with TFC emphasize team-based play, and the surprisingly productive Half-Life/TFC player community constantly produces new maps and modifications.

Opposing Force returns the player to the Black Mesa facility, but tells the tale from the perspective of Col. Adrian Shephard, one of the soldiers sent to clean up the scientists and their reality-altering mess. Just as in Half-Life, things quickly go badly for Colonel Shephard and his men. Ambushed by aliens, scattered and confused, Adrian must fight his way through the ruins of the facility in an attempt to reach a helicopter extraction point. Gameplay is similar to that of Half-Life: Adrian must collect weapons; get over, around, or through collapsed passages; fight aliens; and contend with the mysterious--and murderous--Black Ops agents.

All three games in Half-Life: Adrenaline Pack could easily stand alone on their own merits; being able to get them all in one package is a real treat. Half-Life will draw you in, Team Fortress Classic will keep you in multiplayer heaven for months, and Opposing Force will remind you just what makes the Half-Life game world so good. --Mike Fehlauer ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Adrenaline Pack
I think that this is probably the best pack out of all of them.Who care about Counter Strike. If you buy a pack that includes CS you are paying extra money for a game that you can download for free on the internet!

Any way.Half Life has a great story. You are Gordon Freeman, a scientist for the Black Mesa research facility.Then.It all goes wrong.Aliens are everywhere. If thats not enough, there are government grunt troopers coming in also. You think they are here to save you. They are not.

Now for Opposing Force. You are the grunt. You have crash landed at the black mesa facility after you chopper was shot down by an unknown .....craft.What the hell is going on?You must find your way past alien life forms so you can get out of this hell hole.At the same time your mission is to find Gordon Freeman.

There are so many mods for this game its unbeleivable. This game is a MUST BUY.If you don't own it, well......I dont know what to say.Multiplayer rocks, single player rocks, everything rocks.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Pack in the World!!
These games are great... great graphics, sound, and effects. I started to buy them separately... dumb thing to do this package is less expensive than buying them separately!!!!!!!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars No wonder it was game of the year!
This will keep you glued to the computer screen. There's just something about this game that keeps your interest.Perhaps it's the feeling that you run threw one, continueous world. The fact that there is actually a storyline that you can fallow threw until the end.The "what will happen next" feeling really keeps you going in this game.Unlike it's other shoot-em-up counterparts (Quake, for instance), this will keep your interest because you aren't playing levels, your playing a world.

5-0 out of 5 stars You'll never stop playing this game
You wanna know how good this game is? I'll tell you. This game came out in 1998, which is eons ago in the gaming world, and I'm still playing it daily. I play Unreal Tournament and Rogue Spear fairly often, but given the choice, I'd pick this one (and its Team Fortress mod) in a heartbeat over the others. The single-player experience is cinematic, scary, intense and addictive. From the get go, you are immersed in the world of the game and you never want it to end. Although of course the game does end, it's not much of a problem because that's when you can just get online and play Team Fortress with others over the internet. The mod is such addictive fun that you'll have to be dragged kicking and screaming from it for food and sleep. It's THAT good....entertainment that keeps you coming back for such an extended length of time.

5-0 out of 5 stars This Game Rocks The House Down
When i bought this game I wasn't expecting it to be that great. I bought it cause of a friend who told me it would be good. When I played it it was awesome. The graphics were great. It was blood 'o' rama. (if you like that sort of thing , which i do) When you start out you are a player looking to save the world from villans who came from a test lab experiment. It is great but can be freaky (makes you jump) sometimes (when you play in the dark with headphones on fairly loud. I recommend playing like that.).But over all i gave this 5 stars because of the intense playing and the great graphics!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars If you're tired
Gamers, are you tired of games which cost $50, take up 4 gigs on your hard drive and slow down to a slide show even on top end systems? Are you tired of games which take an hour of wandering around and talking to other charactes before the shooting starts? Do you want to have some FUN... bloody, loud, explosive shooter fun,
