5-0 out of 5 stars Oldy but goody
While this is an old game, it is one of the best Star Wars games that I have played. You can fly for either the rebel aliance or the Empire in a variety of craft.

This is one of the better Star Wars games I have played becuase of it's replay value, you can either play online or work for higher medals and rank on your missions. A great game for any Star Wars fan.

3-0 out of 5 stars A good multiplayer game- NOT single player
This game seems to have been made to address the lack of multiplay in either X-Wing or TIE Fighter. It does a good job of that, and many would argue a too good job. Unless you're an incredibly good pilot, you won't be able to do all the missions solo without turning down the difficulty. No matter which side you choose, the other side will probably win if you're alone. The same goes for the Balance of Power add-on, which contains some very difficult and boring objectives (would you like to identify 50 freighters for us?).

Aside from new texturing, the models are similar to the ones in TIE Fighter. In fact, you will be unpleasantly surprised to see that there are fewer types of ships and stations than in the earlier game. Until you get Balance of Power, the only heavy Rebel fighter is the Y-Wing. This bodes ill for any Rebel fans that want to play missions in which a target must be disabled. I also can't help but notice that the Imperials have the superior TIE Advanced and Assault Gunboat, which seems a bit unbalancing for multiplay purposes.

If you like playing with friends, then you can play this and the expansion cooperatively. That can be a good deal of fun, provided you have a fast and stable connection. If you're looking for a cool story like the ones in X-Wing or TIE Fighter, go get Alliance instead. It's much better for the single play aspect that the older games were so strong in.

2-0 out of 5 stars Disappointed by a poor effort
I bought X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter hoping it would be like the beloved original X-Wing, with better graphics and more ships.Sadly, the game looked awful, with shifting texture maps on the large ships, presented in a maximum 640x480 resolution. The graphics improved with Balance of Power, but the dim starlight made the battle scenes less than impressive. For a game based on visually stunning movie masterpieces, it was annoying to maneuver around the pitch black underbelly of a star destroyer with no lights on the hull. The huge, never-seen-in-the-movies gun turrets on the star destroyers looked incredibly lame as well.

Even though the sound effects were turned up to maximum volume in the Configuration screen, I still had to turn up my computer's volume ALL the way to hear them.Adjusting the John Williams background music had no effect on its volume, so I had to turn it off. There was no training exercise information on how to handle missiles locked on to the player's ship, which was quite an oversight for a supposedly "fun" product.

5-0 out of 5 stars Star Wars:X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter
My kids LOVED IT from the moment it arrived in the mail. And speaking of delivery, it was here in 3 days! How's that for customer service. My sons are 14 and 11 and they both like it alot, however my 14 year old plays it the most. They're addicted to the Star Wars adventures whether it be movies, books or computer games. You can't go wrong with this one (and the price is right, too). You feel like you're actually sitting in the cockpit with the pilot. It's definitely a favorite of theirs.Order it, order it, order it!

5-0 out of 5 stars excellent
this game was great! i like the campaign missions because it feels like the movie, the rebels are always running and the imperials are always chasing. i especially like the way you can destroy tie fighters easily. the taunts are awesome too. it takes a few minutes to get used to the complex cockpit, but it is worth getting used to. this game isnt any ol' shoot em' up game it requires a little strategy too. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Harry And His Friends Are Waiting For You!
Finally, the game Harry Potter fans have been waiting for has finally arrived. "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" chronicles everyone's favorite boy wizard in his third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. As most everyone knows, the original story by J. K. Rowling follows Harry on a deep and dark journey of discovery regarding an escaped convict and how his story intertwines with this mysterious new character. Along with the movie's release, I highly anticipated this game as well, as I would finally get to interact with some of J. K. Rowling's most memorable new characters.
I had played "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" for Playstation 2 prior to playing this third installment in the series. I have also played all four of the games for PC ("Sorcerer's Stone" "Chamber of Secrets", "Quidditch World Cup", and "Prisoner of Azkaban"), so I have something to compare this game too. This "Azkaban", for PS2, was thrilling. It's brand new look for the characters gave them all a sense of maturity, and more depth. The scenery was gorgeous, both outside and inside the castle. Despite the fact that the geography of the castle has been completely re-done (following its movie counterpart), it actually results as appearing more impressive and gives off a much more adventurous environment that you actually want to explore, just to see how everything looks, and not to find treasures or advance the plot.
Switching between, and playing as, Harry, Ron or Hermione at any point in the game was a huge plus. It really explored each character's potential and added to Harry's companions' roles in the story. There was even an awesome `call' function. This summons the other two players to you when the distance between you and them becomes too great for them to automatically know where to find you. Also, each character had their own individual spells, and unique wizard tools they could use. This proves interesting, but at times extremely annoying; because (as in the previous HP PS2 games) you must constantly return to the options menu to configure and choose which spell/action applies to which button on the controls. This takes up a lot of time if your characters are in rooms where many actions can be performed.
Though having two of the trio following you around can heighten the sense of being in the story at times, at others it is annoying. Though entertaining as it is to hear Ron and Hermione bickering about Scabbers' health, it does get old when you have completed a task and Ron and/or Harry and/or Hermione begins to complain that they are tired and are ready for bed, or say that they think you are going the wrong way. Unfortunately, there is no way to turn off the side comments without muting the sound.
However, I would never mute the sound, as Jeremy Soule's beautiful score makes its triumphant return to the series once again. The only downfall here, I'd say, is that the music does not come on a separate CD! Jeremy's music for this game sweeps you into Hogwarts with its John Williams style magic and its large touch of originality that seems straight out of the book series. Unfortunately, it can only be found in the files of one's computer if one owns any of the Harry Potter PC games. And even then, all of the pieces from the PS2 version are not available there. Aside from that, a beautiful job on Mr. Soule's part.
Is this game a challenge? Hardly. In fact, it's probably the most straightforward of the series so far. Plenty of direction is given in each of the teachers' class challenges and other such adventures (which, aside from what the teachers give, aren't in abundance). Where direction is scarce, little experimentation is needed to comprehend what to do. Spell casting is very easy, and even if this is your first time handling the PS2's controls, it becomes almost instinct to know where to place your fingers in preparation for the enemy's next move.
Speaking of enemies, who are they this time? With no Voldemort in this chapter of the saga, who's left for you to fight? You'll mostly find creatures originally mentioned in Lupin's classes from the original book, or straight from their descriptions in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" (i. e. Chizpurfles, Salamanders, Hinkypunks, etc.). The infamous Dementors, of course, have their role as well. The Patronus spell, used to defeat them, proves to be the most interesting spell to cast, as it requires your guidance to find its soulless targets. Combat in general, though, is pretty easy. Don't worry about fainting too much. Besides, certain plot points have your friends dragging you out of harm's way if you faint anyway.
This game takes hardly any time at all. Though its cut scenes are much more original this time around (as opposed to the constant copies from the movie in PS2's "Sorcerer's Stone") they are much too quick and to the point. The ending is a good, but unfortunate, example of this. No hint to the future stories here. Just a quick cut back to the main menu, possibly making the game feel slightly pointless (unless you are eager to go back in for the replay value). The original story itself is kept fairly intact, with the basic elements that moved the novel along still included. Just don't expect to be blowing up Aunt Marge, riding the Knight Bus, wandering around Hogsmeade, fighting in the Shrieking Shack, or escaping through the secret passage under the hump-backed witch. Hogwarts, the grounds, and the exterior of the Shrieking Shack will serve as your only areas to explore and encounter danger.
You won't find long back-stories from the source material here, nor any deep conversation either. Involvement of characters outside the main trio is scarce. Hard core fans, like me, will probably find themselves squealing with joy to encounter Professor Lupin, Sirius Black, Parvati Patil, etc., but keep in mind that their parts are brief. It's lucky some of them were able to even weasel their way into having a short speaking role. It's equally amazing how some major characters got their sequences sliced from the story altogether. However, the minor characters are much more interactive than their "Azkaban" PC counterparts (who, in that version, don't make appearances outside of cut scenes at all).
Activities around Hogwarts (aside from classes) include flying Buckbeak the Hippogriff, racing Hedwig and other owls around the grounds, wizard dueling in the Great Hall, purchasing things from Fred and George Weasley's shop, finding lost objects for fellow Gryffindors, and fighting off the occasional flying book in the corridors. The former two are nice new features, though are present as obvious replacements for Quidditch, which (like in the movie) has its one brief moment of screen time, here as a cut scene. The Weasley twin's shop has become a little less exciting, despite its catering to each specific member of the trio. Dueling and object hunting haven't changed much at all.
Classes themselves are captivatingly horrifying. Harry and his companions go through complete madness that I would never subject anyone my age to (okay, I would, but that's not a lot of people). These challenges involved fiery lava pits, murderous cauldrons, and pushing the trio's physical talents to the limit, all usually with the goal to reach a simple spell book. Though interesting to look at and play in, the challenges are extremely straightforward and don't compare to those found in, say, "Chamber of Secrets" as far as length and quick thinking are concerned.
Overall, the game is extremely well done, though it does not compare to its predecessor, "Chamber of Secrets". Although it is quick and easy to navigate through (probably four hours...likely less), has only brief cameos of certain characters (Lupin, Sirius, Snape, Dumbledore, etc.) and at times strays far from the original plot (i. e. a new Polyjuice Potion incident, an attempted sabotage of the single Quidditch match, rescuing Neville from a ghoul, etc.) the game does give off a real high-quality atmosphere of Hogwarts like the books might do for you (it certainly did for me). The music is beautiful, the graphics are amazing, and the development of the major characters is brilliant. And now that it's come down a considerable amount in price, it's definitely worth buying, as it is not anything near a one-path game and definitely has replay value (especially if you're in need of a relaxing stroll around the virtual grounds). Now it's time for you to explore Hogwarts, take part in classes, and help Harry and his friends discover the mystery behind the "Prisoner of Azkaban".

4-0 out of 5 stars loved it
i am a very enthusiastic Harry Potter fan and i loved being able to experience it a little bit through this game. i thought it was exciting but not quite challenging enough.

5-0 out of 5 stars one of the best games i have ever played
ok this is one of my favorite games its so freakin fun i cant stop playing it. I have already beat the game but there are so manny side quest and minni games it will keep u bussy for awhile. this game is very short and a little to easy i beat the game in about 5 to 8 hours. i give this game a 4.5 the only reason its not a 5 becouse it was to short. i cant wait for the goblet of fire game

4-0 out of 5 stars Renting...
I'm incredibly bad at video games. No denying it.And I got about halfway through the game in five hours. No cheet sheets, no game hacks, no nothing. It's not a very difficult game. Each puzzle has at least some quirk to it that's right under your nose, and you pick up on the switches really easily. My complaints are the loading times, the camera angles, and the motions of the characters, particularly Harry.Jumps are especially annoying, because if you're a millimeter off, you'll fall and die.The puzzles took me at most about 10 minutes to work my way through. Some of them are really annoying, and if you die, you have to do them over.

However, the artistry is simply breathtaking.Flying Buckbeak over an icy landscape with the lake below you, the mountains ahead of you, and the Hogwarts castle behind you is beautiful. Many of the dungeons have a rotting, sort of sickening feel to them, which is absolutely perfect.I also enjoyed how you can swap between Harry, Ron, and Hermione, each with individual weaknesses and strengths.I loved the dementors, but I had the hardest time trying to figure out how to control my Patronus.

If you're a gamer, rent it.If not, this game is probably challenging enough for a beginner.

3-0 out of 5 stars half and half
well i thought it was pretty easy. I finished it in like 4 days(only cause i rented it). But in bits of it you keep dying so you have to do that bit over and over again. like when your trying to save sirius. The two player sucks and you dont play quidditch in this one. But buckbeack is cool to fly.

P.S.
Watch out for those pixies ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Too Expensive to be that cheaply made!
I bought one a while ago for $40, two months later it broke somehow. Then I got another one for $30... That one broke too!.This headset is about as durable as a Lays Potato Chip...I'm serious!.... So basically I spent $70 on a delicate potato chip that enables you to communicate with other people over the internet.

1-0 out of 5 stars JUNK!
it WILL break.I have gone through 3 of 'em.Must have for Socom 2, the only reason i kept buying it.But never again, i have since gone silent after spending $30 a piece on these pieces of JUNK!

1-0 out of 5 stars WILL BREAK IN NO TIME!
i purchased this headset a month ago, despite being told that it breaks easily and the uslesness of it in online games. even though i was extremely carfull not to cause any trama on the headset, to broke any way. the earphone doesn't work and the microphone is weak.
so forget about buying this peace of junk, it just won't last.

2-0 out of 5 stars Total Junk
Note: I don't own a PS2, I bought this for a cheap USB headset for my computer.

This headset is really bad. The build quality is a joke; I was afraid I was going to break it taking it out if the packaging (incidentally, the packaging is quite solid). The plastic is cheap and flimsy.

Besides the low quality build, this thing is tiny, clearly designed for a little kid to wear. I adjusted it as big as it would go, and while I got it on my head, the fit was light years from satisfactory. Even for people with smaller heads, it only adjusts on one side, so if you adjust the size the headset becomes lopsided.

The sound quality is also very poor. While it noticeably cancels some noise, the remaining signal is scratchy, and generally low quality (though not as bad is the build quality).

2-0 out of 5 stars Is this the only USB headset that works on PS2?
I realize that there are exactly 2 headsets that seemed to be endorsed, but I stuck an Apple USB keyboard in the same USB slots for these headsets and that works fine. Has anyone tried another kind of USB headset, other than the two offered here, using one of the two USB ports in the front of your PS2? That would be good to know for sure. Because there are other quality USB headsets out there. I would be willing to bet that if SONY's PS2 website doesn't specifically endorse any headset, under the heading of "hardware" then, other headsets are up for grabs. If you know for certain, and have actually tested this theory, post here, please! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A New Agent
This game includes many possibilities, and is over the top fun. New guns, and new weapons. The Missions are action-packed and very entertaining. New enemies! Here are some tips:

*When playing Capture the Flag, (if two players are playing) Have a person to get the flag, and a person to guard your own.

*When just playing Nightfire Arena, set booby traps such as using a tribomb and locate it down where the feet of a person would be.

*Do not use Heatseeker alot, because this will usually not work the best.

*Use Sentinal gun,(a big dark green one).

(These guns are in explosives 1)

I hope these tips were heplful to you. You should definatly rent it first and then buy it.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Fun Classic James Bond Adventure
This is a great game. If you like James Bond get this game. If you hate games that you beat quickly then get this. The graphicas are great but sometimes a little dark. Nightfire has a great storyline but a stupid ending. Nightfire has a very high replayability because of the multiplayer. This was a great game. From all the high tech gadgets to the abundence of wepons Nightfire is my second favorite Bond game ever.( The best was Goldeneye for n64)

5-0 out of 5 stars Cool Game!
This game is great! The scenarios could be a bit better, but the multiplayer is fun. That's the main reason I bought this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars nightfire is an excellent game
I recently just purchased nightfire and to my amazement i was quite pleased. Now the 1st person mode wasn't anything special but the multiplair modes were awesome!!!!!!!!!1

5-0 out of 5 stars Incredibly fast paced action!
Fantastic game. Fly along 15 different IRL races in a year. Pick up valuable points to finish overall ahead of serious competitors like Helio Castroneves, Sam Hornish Jr., and Gil de Ferran. Any crash can seriously set you back in the race results, just like the real thing. Wind drafting, night races, and great graphics, you gotta try this grame. Truly a dark horse game and just a whole lotta fun! Pleasantly surprised and great replay value.

4-0 out of 5 stars Buy this game!!!!
If you are a fan of racing sims, this game is for you.Even is you are not a fan of indycar, buy this game and you will soon be a fan.Wheel to wheel excitement and all the fun of the month of may at the Indy 500, you cant pass it up.Great driving engine also and realistic feel.

4-0 out of 5 stars A pure sim
This can be a very difficult game. The level of precision you need to drive at incredible high speeds around these ovals, where only a touch can finish a race, is amazing. And if you blink during a race you may be hosed.

Graphics and sound are just okay. A lot of anti-aliasing going on. But your spotter is dead on and the cockpit view is blinding with 22 other competitors around you. And the car set-up is very detailed. This is definitely a niche product and many will get frustrated. But that just increases the satisfaction when you succeed.

This is simply the best simulation racer on the PS2. I don't include GT3 as a sim because it offers no cockpit view, no damage modeling and horrible AI. You can't just plow into the leader at the last turn and come out with a win like in GT3. You will be out of the race in this game. This game requires a lot of work... and for that Codemasters should be applauded.

4-0 out of 5 stars awesome!!!!!!
Driving around with guys like Hornish , de Ferran , Castroneves and fellas , is just an incredible experience . The speed and the sensation of concentration and feeling of `be on the limit ` around the track are as good as it gets ! Setup your car , unlock videos of the history of indianapolis are some of the great stufs that you can find in this codemasters must buy for the enthusiasts of racing !Graphics 10 ; Gameplay 10 ; difficulty 10 ( in pro mode of course ) .

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome game!
The gameplay is realistic, the graphics are incredible, and the cars really seem like their going 225 mph. The game does support steering wheels, so I would disregard the other reviews. One problem is that there is no rear view mirror in the in-car view. Create-a-car isn't the greatest either, but other than those few problems the game is great. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars There is no game better!!!
MKDA is the best game ever!!! [...] and i play with blood and difficulty at MAX. MKD has some other things, but there Konquest lacks, Arcade is stupid, and the story dosen't have as much zest as in DA.When I unlocked "Cooking with Scorpion" I watched it 56 Times! The best player are Shang T. and Raiden.[...]

2-0 out of 5 stars Mortal flaws in the gameplay.
Nice graphics and action packed! Too bad they messed it up with a stupid combo system...In order to unlock all characters, you have to complete 'Konquest' mode - this means you will have to do combo's etc.But some of the 3-style combo attacks are nearly impossible to pull off.I've been playing beat'em ups from day one and I found myself struggling with Raiden's combo for half an hour!!Honestly, I felt like performing a fatality on the disc.

The gameplay is also very tedious. If -for once- you opponent DOESN'T block your attacks, you would be stupid not to use your best combo. So you find yourself performing the same tricks over and over again. The game also gets ridiculously hard after a number of consecutive wins, even on medium mode.

5-0 out of 5 stars FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bloodiest, goriest, most violent fighting game ever!I love to see blood squirt out of a neck.HERE IS A LIST OF MORE FUN MIDWAY GAMES: Midway arcade treasures 2,Psi-ops the mindgate conspirary,Legion the legend of excalibur

4-0 out of 5 stars Great game with highly stylized character design!
I must say that I have been a long time fan of the mk series. This version is great I think Midway did the right thing when they got rid of all those peripherial characters and superfluous fatalities, animalities, ect. Frankly I would be happy to figure out one. This game is clean and crisp with responsive controls. The weapon aspect is cool because if you do decide to use it you also take greater damage if hit; although if you are a weak player AI's at higher diffuculty levels will repeatedly use their weapons to slice and dice you.

The ONLY gripes I have with this game is that it totally sucks that all the players are not available to start with; although I must admit that having to buy them gives the game more replay value. Also a major gripe is that this game is NOT Xbox Live compatable.I imagine all those suckers I could be pummeling with scorpion - all the trash talking I am being denyed, so disappointing.

Anyway this IS a solid game worth having for ANYONE who appreciates fighters.Check out the blood and gore!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Game

5-0 out of 5 stars great game
alias was a cool spy game to play i have never seen the tv series but the game is cool if the tv show is like the game i will start watching as soon as possible

2-0 out of 5 stars OK at first but it gets annoying.
I had played some of this game in a store as a demo and thought it seemed pretty cool. Now that I got to playing it there's some things that are really annoying about it. Like for example breaking down a camera doesn't stay broken down for long, if you come back to the place it's working again. Another is, it's not very stealthy, there's no definate shadows where people can't see you. You can't fill up on ammo either, you use one gun and whatevers left of it after the guy before you used it that's all you got. Also, when you fight you cant direct her where to fight if there's multiple enemys you just got to let her do her thing or it'll throw her all off. The gun is not so fun to use cause you can't really aim it, it'll just shoot and hopefully aim at the bad guy. The health comes back with time so you have nothing to think 'oh I coulda done that better' before you save the game. The people also dissapear after you kill them. All in all I think this is an OK game but small things make it very annoying at points.

4-0 out of 5 stars disappointing
I bought this game because I'm a huge fan of the show and I usually like games in this genre (007, Buffy). However, I found this game to be very annoying (and not because it was too hard). The controls are a joke.Instead of having one button be punch and another be kick, they are divided into special attacks and quick attacks.I found that I could press the buttons a certain way when fighting and get killed, then I could do the exact same sequence and barely get hit.The moves are totally random!I'm usually the kind of person who has to finish the game before selling it back, but this one irritated me so much that I couldn't wait to get rid of it!As for the look of the game, it's alright.Nothing spectacular. They do a good job of making the characters look like the actors (except for Jennifer Garner!) Another plus is that the real actors do the voices, instead of having someone else impersonate them badly (I'm talking to you Buffy!).I wouldn't recommend this game at all.

3-0 out of 5 stars Kind of Blah...
One of the first games I've tried with my new XBox.Not that impressive.Haven't made it all that far, but mostly it seems like you kind of wander around - walking like you've been on a horse too long - and pick up frying pans and hit people with them.Graphics are very disappointing compared to what they could be.OK game, but feels like it was rushed out the door.

5-0 out of 5 stars The gameplay and graphics are excellent!
This is one of the better games to
represent a TV show or movie.

The gameplay and graphics are excellent!

Amazon.com Review

For much of the 90’s the 2-D realm consisted of a battle between Capcom’s stars and the 2-D fighters from rival SNK. Fans mourned when SNK went out of business a couple years ago, but Capcom has resurrected its enemies for yet another battle in Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO.

The game offers a remarkable assortment of fighters, fighting styles, and variety of play. Forty characters--each with their own special powers, attacks, timing issues, personalities, and sound bites--get magnified three-fold by three separate "-isms" which alter their powers, and three "grooves," which mix them up yet again. There’s a lot to learn and it ensures that playing a foe of equal skill is never dull because you can never be sure what character he’s going to pick and how that character will fight.

The graphics are generally decent, though some of these fighters look like they haven’t been spiffed up for today’s console systems. The older Street Fighter guys look just plain bad next to newly added characters from the SNK stable. But the animation is smooth, the backgrounds have been significantly redone and feature new, often startling animations, and the special effects are just plain awesome. The audio is pretty much the same old themes that Capcom has been using for the better part of a decade now.

All told there’s very little reason for PS2 or GameCube gamers to own this game, other than the SNK characters. The Xbox version is playable over Xbox Live (sold separately), which is a big advantage--everyone knows that these games, born of arcade coin-ops, are meant to be played competitively. The service does nothing to match players of equal skill, but that’s pretty similar to the experience in an arcade. The ability to start up a relatively lag free game at a moment’s notice and trade trash talk with another gamer from around the world is just priceless, and a welcome addition to the series. --Andrew S. Pros:

  • Forty fighters from two video game stables
  • Xbox Live play is smooth and mostly lag free
Cons:
  • Dated graphics
  • Inadequate manual

4-0 out of 5 stars 4 problems with this game...
First off this is worth picking up if you are a fan of 2d fighting games , hopefully xbox will release more like this.

problem 1: "snk"? F*** snk , lets get back to the good ol days of Marvel vs. Capcom.

problem 2: the computer is pretty much like the one cheap a** friend you have who sits in a corner shooting fire bolts every time you get up, and using "super special moves" as soon as they get low on health

3: can someone please explain why EVERYONE can do the Shiyruken in this? I know snk is just a knockoff of streetfighter, but come on, cant they think of one person that doesnt dress and fight like, or at the very least isnt named after, ryu?

4: I think about 9 people in the world own this, Ive only seen it in a store once, and no one is ever online in this game.

other than that this is awesome, and should do the trick if your waiting to get the street fighter anniversery set.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best 2D fighter for the Xbox at the moment.
Having not played a Street Fighter game since Doule Impact on the DC, I figured this'd be a good game to get back into everything with. I had played Capcom vs SNK in arcades a few times but wasn't so sure of the concept. So many different fighters to pick, did all of them really have their own advantages? Yes. Each and every character is unique in their own way, and it's a blast to learn how to use each one effectively. I haven't had this much fun in a 2D fighting game since I first played SF2 back in 1991.

CvsSNK2 is easy to get into. You get a ton of fighters to go through, and if you don't know how to do their moves, just pause the game and pull up the command list. I'm glad to see this option being more common in fighting games. It would've been a great help back in the early/mid 90's. If you've played an SF or KoF game before, then you know what's here and how to play. But before really starting the game, you can pick one 6 Grooves. These give you some extra abilities during fighting...like parrying, air blocks, safe falls, etc. And they also determine how your special move meter is used. If you like using more than one special move in a row, then go with the 'C' Groove and use up to 3 super special moves one right after the other once it's filled up. If you'd rather go with one huge combo, go with one of the others that lets you do just that. It seems a little silly at first, but if you want to get a high score, learning which Groove best suits you is manditory (I usually stick with 'N'). You get points for a lot of different things. Combos is an obvious one, time, health, max combo reached, two-hit throws, special move finish, Dramatic KO finish, and many more. It's fun trying to get as many bonuses as possible at the end of a match. I've been trying to go for 3500 points since I got the game back in January.

The arcade mode isn't very tough. It's 5-7 matches (5 normally, one optional boss before the 5th real match, and one of two end bosses if you meet the requirements) long and you can go through it in less than 10 minutes. Then there's the Survival mode, where you go through EVERY SINGLE FIGHTER ON THE ROASTER with your own lonesome fighter, just so you can get unlimited points to make your own custom Groove the best. There's also the usual two-player VS mode which is always fun, and of course the Online mode. CvsS2 actually has a good little online following, and you're bound to find a few skilled opponents when you go on Live. Feature in this version of CvS2 is the EO mode, which lets you be incredibly cheap. You can't do Ken's Dragon Punch (like me)? Well just set the controls to EO mode and every single one of his special moves (even supers) can be executed with one move of the right thumbstick. Remember how Blanka used to do his rolling attack(s) without charging or anything? Well now you can do the same thing. Be warned for setting it to EO on the arcade mode- it doesn't make for much of a challenge obviously, even on the highest difficulty setting. It could make Survival a little easier though...

The graphics aren't anything to brag about. The character sprites are very pixilated and look about early PSone quality. That's not saying that they're poorly animated or anything, but you'll notice their outlines could've used a lot of work. Say maybe the quality that was put into SF: 3rd Strike. That would've been very nice. But all of the characters have a lot of detail put into them with a lot of personality for "just" a 2D sprite. Backgrounds have some 3D effects like windmills, and they're pretty generic. Some of the things look like Capcom/SNK just rushed through with them to have something to look at while you're waiting for your opponent to get back up. But the firey background when fighting the real end bosses is flat out sweet.

The music and voices are good though. The main menu theme gets annoying fast and you'll rush through it, but the tracks used in the levels is pretty good. While the number of stages is limited, there's a good variety of music genres used. And of course the music when fighting God/Ultimate Rugal and Shin Akuma is some of the coolest. It actually sounds like end boss music. Each character has their own voice, and while they don't say that much, they fit their personalities. Some of the better ones include Iori and Chun-Li. But the announcer, oh is he something. He has some of the worst pronunciation I've ever heard. Just wait until you hear him say "Capcom vs SNK 2" at the title screen. He says these incredibly lame phrases in between fights like "LOOK AT THE EXPRESSION ON THEIR FACES". And "BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER TO ME...BECAUSE THE BOTTOM LINE IS, THAT THIS. TEAM. HAS. WON!". Yeah, he'll be getting on your nerves pretty quick. Also, there seems to be an error with the sound when you finish a match with a Dramtic KO. If you have one more round after a Dramatic KO, the music will mute, and you'll fight the next match with no sound. This only lasts for whoever you're fighting. It'll be back in the next fight. I've heard that playing the game online once will clear this up and fix it for the offline game. 'just thought I'd let you know.

Hopefully this game will help popularize SNK/King of Fighters a little more so people actually give their games a chance. Capcom's the only company aside from Sammy with their Guity Gear games, that has much of a chance in the 2D fighting world sadly. SNK vs Capcom: Chaos is coming out soon, which should be even better than this. CvsS2EO is great if you're a fan of 2D fighters, or if you haven't even played one in a long time like I have. And for a collectability note, this game is also out of print. So you should go for it while you still can. Look at how much Marvel vs Capcom 2's going for on Xbox and ps2.

5-0 out of 5 stars capcom vs snk
i love capcom vs snk 2because of many charecters all being so good, also with the lighting effect ,and the one hit super combos. i look forward of getting the newvesion capcom vs snk 2eo.

5-0 out of 5 stars I LOVE THIS GAME FOR ONLINE! BUT CHARACTERS ARE....
im a big fan of street fighter and fatal fury for the sega gen, and this game is a ... load more upgraded than those versions, i think is awsome mainly becasue of xbox live. the characters tho dissapoint me. i like almost all the chars but they didnt add in a few of the really good characters they had in the other games. they dont have andy which makes no sense since hes a big character in the game. they dont have guy either. chars not in this that are in street fighter alph 3: cory, fei long, birdie, R mika, guy, DJ,Karin, juli and juni, sodom, adon, t hawk, gen, and rose. those are some of the chars for capcom not in the game. some snk chars not in the game are: andy, moe, robert, clark and ralf, leona, kensou, bao, richard, micheal, duck king, tung fu, BILLY, Axel, Lawrence blood, big bear, jubie, cheng.
alot of these are good characters but not included in the game.
im not telling u not to buy it, they have the main chars and the best bhars in the game, its fun and challenging online.

5-0 out of 5 stars This game rocks!
This is an very addictive arcade style fighting game. The graphics keep true to normal games of this type.Making new characters through their costumes and name changing is a great idea and fun to show off on X-box live.Overall this is such a good game that I can't wait until another one or anygame like this comes out next.Capcom and SNK both rock! ... Amazon.com Review

The Baldur's Gate series redefined and reinvigorated the PC role-playing scene, and now Interplay brings it to the Xbox. Don't be fooled, however, this isn't a traditional role-playing game, but rather a fun, wall-to-wall action hack 'n' slash adventure in the mold carved by Gauntlet and Diablo--one that nonetheless conforms to the Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition rule set.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance casts you as one of three basic characters: an elf sorceress, a human archer, or a dwarf fighter. From there, you're set free inside a huge Dungeons & Dragons world replete with dungeons, forests, and ice caves. Naturally, it's all filled to the brim with horrible monsters, wicked traps, treasures, and fabled magical weapons. As you go, you're constantly rewarded with new weaponry, new monsters to fight, and experience points you can put into your character stats to grow even more powerful. You can swap equipment in an inventory "paper doll" screen. Those changes are reflected in your onscreen character, so you'll start with simple weapons and a drab appearance, and you'll end up a big, mean superhero at the conclusion.

The graphics are simply wonderful, and the controls are accurate, responsive, and fun to use--which is necessary for the constant hacking and slashing required. The game is all the more fun when you recruit a buddy and play in cooperative mode. --Bob Andrews

Pros:

  • Fast, furious fun with great graphics
  • It's even more fun with a friend!

Con:

  • Might disappoint PC Baldur's Gate fans looking for something deeper

5-0 out of 5 stars Suprisingly good, one of the best of its genre
I picked up a copy of Baldur's Gate:Dark Alliance not too long ago (yah, I know it has been out for a while).Anyway, found the game surprisingly good and much better than expected.

In case you haven't read any of the other reviews or are completely confused, this game is typical hack-and-slash.You guide your charachter from an overhead perspective and control their attacks, blocks and magics. There is little in the way of skill needed here, which is refreshing in its own right. You have only three charachters to select from (Elven Sorceress, Human Archer and Dwarven Rogue), which was my first complaint. Each plays roughly the same, though they have slightly different starting stats and their list of spells/feats (which can be purchased when you level up) are different.

The game uses the Dungeons and Dragons roleplaying game ruleset, but takes a lot of liberties with it.But for fans of DnD you will see spells, feats and classes you recognize. The use of the DnD rules is not without its flaws though, and of most note is the flaw in the way armor works in this game (or doesn't work). As you improve your armor don't expect to take any less damage when you get hit, it doesn't work that way and armor doesn't absorb any damage. What the armor does is make it harder (supposedly) for enemies to hit you in the first place (yah, you will see them swing at you and have it deal no damage, oryou swing at them and see your weapon slice them but don't deal any damage). While this sounds good, the problem is that the enemies you are going up against in the early stages of the game can hit you 99% of the time even with the best armor you could find at that point. In the later stages, the enemies will hit you no matter what, you simply can't get your armor high enough to cause them any concern - the developers of the game actually released a statement acknowledging this.Oh well, you do have a manual block (provided you are using melee weapons) and it works pretty well against most attacks except those of bosses. All armor does is make you look cool and take up a huge chunk of your limited carrying capacity.

Graphically the game looks really good, the colors are clear and vibrant and your charachter model looks good and usually stands out nicely from the surroundings. As you change your equipment you will notice that it reflects on your charachter.Magical weapons also have a nice blue shine and as enemies near some will burst into flame or something similar. The enemies as well look really, really well done, and again, if you are familiar with DnD you will recognize them. The visual representation of your spells is also very well done with bright colors, dancing flames and showers of magical energy - nice! When you strike an opponents you will be rewarded with blood spatter, and smaller enemies like rats can be cut clean in half.Spiders also goo nicely (and can be pretty creepy to anyone who happens to not like spiders).

The gameplay is smooth, no glitches, and the controls are easy.Spell management is a little cumbersome as you have to use the direction pad to scroll through your list of spells/feats to find the one you want to use for the current situation, but simply pressing the B button uses the selected spell, and A delivers your attack.Switching between close and ranged weapons is very simple (press a direction on the D-pad) and pressing the other direction turns the automap on and off.As far as the map is concerned you don't really need it because the game pretty much uses invisible barriers, stones, walls, green foilage, ravines and what have you to keep your from exploring out of the desired area.In all respects the game is extrememly linear, but as you are basically playing for the hack-and-slash aspect, that is not too bad.And you can also have a friend control a second charachter on the screen, which adds to the fun.

As far as sound, that is never too much of a big deal for me, but the voice acting in this game is fine, the spells, blows and weapon effects sound great for the most part, and I didn't really notice the background music, so obviously it isn't a probem either.

I did give the game 5 stars, but it does have some flaws. The graphics are nice and the levels are laid out ok, but not great. And they re-use a lot of the texture tiles and what have you, so in that respect some of the areas have similiar appearance to what you would expect to see on the super nintendo with the same brick tile pattern repated every so many inches (most annoying when you are outdoors and they reuse trees and rock formations). Also, as I mentioned, there are only 3 classes to play as, and each one is somewhat limited in their spells and feats. For example, as the Sorceress I found only a few of the spells to be worth investing in and none of them did more damage than a fine sword and a lot of them take a pretty good amount of magical energy to cast for only a limited effect.Using ranged weapons and spells can also be aggravating as it is not always easy to tell exactly where your character is facing, so they will miss a few times while you try and line them up.This gets harder when you are farther away from your target, or trying to fire diagnally.

Overall I really enjoyed this game. There are a few aggravating spots (like jumping across tiles that fall out from under you) but overall very fun and a great way to burn away the time.If you overlooked it before, give it a try.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent - for what it is.
First, I have to admit that I've been out of gaming since atari and early nintendo 1990's.So I may be easily impressed.

Dark Alliance - the drageons, characters, exploration, buying, etc really appealed to me.

I found this to be an exploration type game and destroy everything you could.Yes, you had to do certain things, but I wouldn't have considered them puzzles. The most difficult part of the game was getting over these floating stone circles.

The ablity to upgrade and tryout new armour, weapons, and powers also drew me into this game. What would this do - burn or turn them to ice!For the scale of the game, the graphics were cool and detailed. However, I would have liked to see this world up closer.

If I had any complaints, it would be that towards the end - you felt like everything became repetative and the ending disappointing.I would have liked more puzzles. And, as I found out - circling your enemies was the easiest way to defeat them. The ending was, well, short - I would have expected some sort of 5 minute clip of celebration, reward ceremony, etc at Baldur's Gate.

Recommendation - I would suspect that hardcore gamers would find this simplistic and I bet they have already buzzed through it.However, being a beginner and moving to controllers with more buttons - its a nice dive into a world that kept me coming back and wanting more.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not enough campaign time for the money
I feel sorry for anyone who has spent more than ten dollars on this game.I purchased it for [...] at Toys 'R' Us.Basically a dollar for every hour of campaign time I got out of it.

I'm a huge rpg, particularly forgotten realms fantasy fan, and I was sorely dissapointed in this game. While, the story is missing in detail, the adventuring is fun, heavy hack n slash type, very little to no RP at all.The ending was just that, an ending, a real let down.We went through this game tooth and nail, making sure to uncover every stone, secret and bad guy and it still only took me 8 and a half hours to beat.I was really dissapointed.Just when we thought there was going to be a spectacular plot twist and the game was really going to start kicking, it just ended, promising yet 'another installment' in the Baldurs Gate series.Honestly, instead of purchasing the next game, I'll just pass.I just can't justify paying new game prices for what amounts to the time you would get out of a free community expansion.

If you want to purchase an RPG, save your money and put it towards the NWN platinum pack for the PC.Now there you can waste the hours away!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars AWSOME
This game is fun and good for 2 players. It has exceptionaly good graphics.3 diferent levels of gameplay easy, medium, and hard.3 different caracters to choose from:Archer, Dwarf, and scorceres. There is a large solection of weapons including;mourning stars, bows, axes, and warhammers.you can upgrade ur character to make his or hers skills better and more powerful.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great RPG fun
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is one of the most fun games i have played in a long time. The hack 'n slash action is instantly addictive and the smooth polished graphics add to the appeal of this excellant game. It is jam packed with different weapons and spells to use while battling in the three extensive worlds.I thouroghly enjoyed every second of this Dungeons & Dragons themed RPG, however i just wish there was more. the game ends rather abruptly, forcing you to by the game's sequel in order to finish the story. that aside this is an wonderful game with tons of replay value and personality to boot. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars great model small enough for SP models of GBA
ok i own a older model from a company not really affiliated with nintendo, it works ok for the older GBAs, but i also own a GBA/SP model and it jams the sholder buttons. this model directly from nintendo is small enough to fit between the buttons on a SP model *great for Zelda:FSA *Four Swords Adventures* and still big enough to fit on the older models.

5-0 out of 5 stars It makes a HUGE difference...
When it comes to the GC/GBA Cable. You wouldnt think that something this inexpensive could make a difference in the way you play video games. But it does it unlocks secrets of all kinds in Gamecube games, sometimes it gives you access to secret areas/maps/items and various other thing.

Depending on the game and what features it opens up.Plus it is cheap to get and once you've gotten this wonderful item. You will wonder why you didnt get it sooner.I know from my own experience.

4-0 out of 5 stars advance cable
The Nintendo GC/GB Advance Cable adds some new features to some of its systems' most popular games. Although I do not own every game this item enhances, I do own a few.

From what I have played (Animal Crossing, Pokemon, Harvest Moon, ect) this product has provided just a little more fun. Although it is not a gaming essential, die-hard Nintendo fans of both the portable and non-portable systems will definitely want to buy this item and explore new options provided by the cable.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very good
It's a very good product but it only can be shipped within U.S., so I can't buy it

5-0 out of 5 stars a suggestion
if you plan on getting at least two of these i suggest you buy final fantasy crystal chronicles and then how ever many more of these you need because the game comes with a FREE gamecube/gba cable...and then the game rox anyways =) *obviously* only get this if you have a game boy advance (or the person your giving it to has 1 =D) ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Glad to see that pac is back
There are two games here, on two separate discs. The first game, Pac Man World 2, is a fun take on the old classic - sort of Pac Man meets Mario.Visually, I thought the game was done well, if not cutting-edge graphics-wise.Unlike the original, this game is 3-D and carries a bit more of a story, things that help draw you through the various levels.Further, the levels are challenging, but not too hard for an old fuddy-duddy like me.Sure, my kids tore through the game (as usual, but had fun doing it), but at least I was able to keep up with them.

The second game, Pac Man Vs. requires a gameboy advance with the link cable. Therefore, if you do not have this equipment, you will not be able to play it.However, at the price this game pack sells for, and with the quality of the Pac Man World, I don't think that you will be disappointed even if you don't have the gameboy advance. However, if you do, the Vs. game allows multiple players to pit themselves against each other in the classic roles - ghosts and the orbed one. Thus comes forth the second stipulation for the game:it is really only fun when you have multiple players.

While getting two game discs for the price of one seems a bargain, because of the requirements of Pac Man Vs. (game boy advance, cable, and (arguably) multiple players), I would think of this game as a bonus disc rather than an integral part of the purchase. The quality of Pac Man World is good, and the creators do a fine job integrating features of the game (and cartoon, for that matter). In fact, you can play the various classic Pac games within the game, thus adding to the "bonus" content. If you are an old Pac-Man fan like me, then this game will be more fun than a mouthful of power pellets.

3-0 out of 5 stars Overhyped
Eh! The first game, Pac Man World 2 seems to be uninspired. The controls, which, for me, are a very important part of an 3d adventure game, aren't quite right. They aren't wrong, its just they need more subtle tweaking for more enjoyable game play. I should state that I'm not very far into this game and things could change but I'm not expecting them to.

The second game, Pac Man Vs. is a good amount of fun for about 45 minutes at a time when you have 3 or 4 people. I found it to be kinda boring when there are only two people playing.

For the price this isn't a bad deal. Just don't expect a four or five star game play for a bargain bin price point.

4-0 out of 5 stars If youre a Pac Man fan get this.
I remember playing the original Pac Man on the arcade around the time it came out and since then Ive always been a fan.I also bought a Playstation back aroung 1994 and Pac Man World was my favorite game for that console. It just blew everything else right out of the water. If you still have a Playstation you owe it to yourself to get that game and while Pac Man World 2 is not as good as that it is still an excellent game. The main game isnt all that original but it is still pretty fun.I found myself liking the mazes more than most of the main game but since there a lot of mazes I cant complain too much.A few parts of the volcano levels can be pretty frustrating but overall its pretty damn easy.I still think its more fun than Luigis Mansion and Super Mario Sunshine because its more like a standard platform game in 3D which is pretty cool. You can also unlock old Pac Man games in the arcade room in this game.If youre a fan of platform games or just like Pac Man you should definitely go out and get this.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pac's Back
Yes, Pac is back in this 3-D world of adventure and fun that you just couldn't possibly put down.It starts off telling the story of how the ghosts steal the golden fruit from the tree that accidentally unleashes a ghoul ghost called Spooky that attacks Pac and his people. That is when you are sent on a journey into this amazing three-dimensional world of wacky fun and with a bit of old new twists. The game looks exciting, yet difficult at points in the game when you get further down the way. There's special mazes that you can go through when getting a special item that is pretty fun.Without a doubt, Pac-Man World 2 is a highly addictive game.Try it.You'll have fun.

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice bundle
The Pac Man video games were some of the first to be truly successful in the video game industry, so it's not surprising that Namco has revived the character in recent years. Pac Man has starred in a number of different types of games over the years, and here he stars in a three-dimensional platformer. The game has now been rereleased with a bonus multiplayer game! Read on for my review of the Pac Man World 2 Bundle.

-Pac Man World 2-

PROS:
-The graphics for this game very good, in particular those of the cut scenes. The cut scenes really must be seen to be fully appreciated.
-The controls are, for the most part, pretty easy to learn. You should be able to pick them up pretty quickly.
-There are a number of things to hunt down in every level, which slightly boosts the replay value of the game.

CONS:
-The control scheme has a number of problems, which are particularly noticable when you're in the heat of battle, or trying to make a virtually impossible jump.
-Much like the recent Sonic games, the camera is pretty lame. It has a tendency to get stuck on pretty much anything and everything, which can really hurt your gaming experience.
-The swimming controls flat out suck, mostly due to continually-shifting camera angles underwater. You shouldn't include swimming stages in a video game unless you can get it right!
-In the end, this ends up being a pretty generic three-dimensional platformer. There are considerably better games of the same genre available. The game comes off seeming like something intended more for younger players.

-Pac Man Vs.-

PROS:
-This is an extremely fun multiplayer game. One player uses a Game Boy Advance to control Pac Man, while the other players control ghosts on the TV who try to defeat Pac Man. This is a great new twist on an old favorite, and you can do two, three, or four players.

CONS:
-This game REQUIRES a Game Boy Advance/Gamecube link cable, and a Game Boy Advance. That means that it could ultimately end up costing you over a hundred dollars just to play this game!
-It's multiplayer only. There is no single-player mode!
-As with any game, it's funnest with as many people as possible, and there usually won't be that many people around who are willing to play.

OVERALL:
Overall Pac Man World 2 is nothing special, and in my opinion is only worthy of a three out of five. Pac Man Vs., on the other hand, is a multiplayer masterpiece, and it bumps this package's score up to a four out of five. And at the extremely low MSRP, you can't lose with this set. Just make sure you have all the necessary equipment to play Pac Man Vs. BEFORE you buy the game! ... Read more

Editorial Review

Parasite Eve tells the story of Aya Brea of the NYPD on a case involving massspontaneous human combustion, mutating animals, and the mitochondria revolution. Sound fun?Confusing? Parasite Eve is both.

It begins when Aya is attending an opera at Carnegie Hall. The soloist bursts into song and theaudience bursts into flames. Somehow, Aya is the only attendee who isn't affected. Notsurprisingly, she wants to know what's going on. This curiosity, coupled with her duties as a policeofficer, grows into a full-scale investigation.

Parasite Eve's mechanics are simple, yet elegant. From combat to level advancement, thegame runs easily and smoothly, making it ideal for someone new to role-playing games (RPGs).Experienced RPGers should still enjoy it for its brilliant storyline.

Technically speaking, the game's graphics and sound are good, but not spectacular. The full-motioncutscenes are superbly done. Parasite Eve is a good game--there's just not enough of it.While it doesn't feel crammed together, the story seems to resolve quickly. Brilliant while it lasted,Parasite Eve left me wanting more. --John Cocking

5-0 out of 5 stars INCREDIBLY ORIGINAL
I have always wanted to play parasite eve because i have heard great things. When i first went through the first day, i couldn't believe it. Not only was i moved and stunned when i completed the game but i was certain that parasite eve was a gold mine. A story like no other, parasite eve is a natural in the field of originaliy and not to mention the story that goes along. An RPG Shooter will always be a great combination that squaresoft has created and i hope that there will be plenty more where that came from.

5-0 out of 5 stars Parasite Eve Rocks My World!!!
Parasite Eve is the ultimate videogame ever created. When I was younger,my dad had it and I loved it!Unfortunately,it broke 4 years ago. After going through many different plazas and videogame stores,I finally found the last copy of the game on a website(by the way,it's not eBay). This game is the 6 day story of Aya Brea,a rookie cop,age 25.(Yes,I do remember,it was the greatest game of all time.)Also, there is a Parasite Eve movie. It takes place like 2 years or more before Aya is born, and it tells about Aya's mother, who had similiar Mitochondria Cells to Eve.I am a fiend, even though people do not know how I truly loved Parasite Eve.Now you probably think I'm crazy.Oh,and if you love Parasite Eve,you'll love Tekken 1-4.Tekken 5 is comin out next week, and you'll also love Death By Degrees and Resident Evil 4.Well,thanks for reading!Bye!

5-0 out of 5 stars An RPG with very nice touches by Square!
I guess this game is sorta like Survival Horror meets RPG.The story is great, and the graphics and sound are way up there for the times!Sometimes I found the play control a bit stickey when searching areas for items, but the combat is a big improvement over the Final Fantasy turn-based system.I highly recommend this game for Resident Evil and RPG fans alike!

5-0 out of 5 stars Thought-Provoking And Nothing Short of Spectacular!
Although PS1 seems to be something of the past now, it's always good to return to it to relive classic games, especially classics that are not on PS2. Parasite Eve is one of those rare finds where no matter how old it is or how many times you play it, it's as good as it was the first time.
Based on a popular Japanese novel (under the same name), Parasite Eve stars a young female cop named Aya Brea, whom, after witnessing a chaotic senario at an opera, realizes the existance of "Eve" who plans on "freeing the mitochondria's true powers." Aya soon gets entangled in the horrific adventure as she defends New York City from the approaching apocalypse.

The absolute best thing about PE is it's so intriging and thought-provoking. It makes you think, but not to the point where you're wracking your brain out, eather. The concept of the Mitochondrias may sound bizarre but in all respect gets your creative juices flowing in a plot that PE makes seem all too real. For a fictional storyline, I haven't seen such a realistic-fictional plot like this in a long time!

Pace is steady and smooth. Some parts will be more action-packed than others, but everything's balanced off very well. Music is brilliant and I find myself watching the opening all the time. Visuals are breath-taking, considering it's age. The field/battle graphics aren't worth a full five stars (maybe 4) but the cinematic scenes are, and it doesn't take you long to forget this is a game. You'll begin to think it's an actual movie. It's not unbearably long, either, so things are tight, cut to the chase, and leave you satisfied, yet wanting more. The characters too, are well-developed as far as depth.

Overall, Parasite Eve is one of those rare classics that are worth going back to. You definately don't get the privlege of playing a game like this every day. If you're a fan of Sci-Fi, horror, or action-genres, PE's for you. Truely amazing!

5-0 out of 5 stars great sequl even if u have not played the first

Amazon.com Review

Panzer Dragoon: Orta is a quintessential action game with deceptively simple gameplay. You ride on the back of a flying dragon, blasting enemies and incoming missiles while your scaly friend soars along a predetermined path through gorgeous fantasy landscapes. Floating power-ups serve as tasty rewards to players who are particularly apt at dishing out carnage. Gigantic boss monsters make regular appearances, each one challenging the player to decipher the particular boss's attack pattern and weak points.

While its core gameplay is the very definition of old school, Panzer Dragon: Orta is much more than a shooter on rails. The dragon that Orta rides can shift into three forms: light, medium, and heavy. Success depends on a player's ability to quickly shift between forms in order to take advantage of the particular abilities of each. The medium form is useful in most situations. The light form is fast and maneuverable, ideal for quickly shooting down swarms of projectiles or attaining a favorable tactical position. The heavy form presents a slow, big target, but sports the most damaging weapons in the game. The shape-shifting aspect adds depth to the game, especially considering that each form can be upgraded with power-ups and enables a unique special ability.

Clever shifting strategy and a sharpshooter's eye earn a player much more than victory and power-ups. Skilled players are rewarded with extras such as passages of Panzer Dragoon fiction, concept sketches, additional playable characters, extra missions, and even the original Panzer Dragoon game from 1995. The goodies celebrate the rich history of the Panzer Dragoon series, and fill in the background of the game's unfolding story.

The story is worthy of praise. The game tells the tale of Orta, a young woman who is freed from lifelong imprisonment at the beginning of the game by a wondrous shape-shifting dragon. You play as Orta as she and her dragon blast their way through an oppressive empire's legions of soldiers and bioengineered monsters, all the while seeking the truth behind Orta's imprisonment and destiny.

Disappointingly, the genuinely interesting story is told through subtitles instead of spoken English. Subtitles would be fine for slow sections or noninteractive cutscenes, but Orta's text is displayed during pitched battles. The frantic pace and constant action demand the player's full attention, making it difficult to read text when you're desperately gunning down 20 incoming missiles while dodging around a cliff wall and trying to draw a bead on a flying battleship's weak point. In other words: the game is so good, you shouldn't be forced to take your eyes off the action for even a second.

Challenging, rewarding, and beautiful, Panzer Dragoon: Orta stands with Halo as one of the must-have Xbox games. --Mike Fehlauer

Pros:

  • Gorgeous graphics
  • Varied gameplay; three dragon forms add depth
  • Excellent extras

Cons:

  • Subtitles
  • Easy mode isn't

5-0 out of 5 stars the best game on the xbox
panzer dragon orta was by far one of the most gorgeous video games i have ever played an my life the graphics are ahead of its time gameplay is perfect stoyline good the ony thing i heated was the subtitles and the difficulty of the game if you loved the sega saturn verison you will loved the xbox verison

5-0 out of 5 stars Panzer Dragoon Orta
The first three installments in the Panzer Dragoon series are almost legendary in gaming circles. Released for the Sega Saturn, Panzer Dragoon, Zwei, and Saga became some of the coolest titles in the gaming underground. Never really mainstream, the series is almost mythical within the gaming community. Far more people talk about Panzer than have actually played any of the titles. As Sega continues to reach into their vault of past licenses, Panzer Dragoon Orta arrives to perhaps the widest American audience yet for the Panzer series.

A shooter with a solid storyline, stunning graphics, and great sound, Panzer Dragoon Orta looks to carry on the tradition of its predecessors. For many, this will be their first real introduction to the series. But don't worry, Panzer novices can still enjoy the game and those who played the earlier versions will almost certainly be pleased. Panzer Dragoon Orta is the perfect way to start the new year and is the best rail shooter of all time. Period.

Panzer Dragoon Orta is a rail shooter, a rare type of game more popular in the '80s and early '90s. They're uncommon nowadays as developers choose to go for more high-concept games, first-person shooters, and adventure titles. A rail shooter means that the game is on a track. While you can aim and move somewhat freely about the screen, you are pushed along a single path, which you must follow. While it may sound limiting, the idea is to let you focus on shooting and not worry about getting lost or making a misstep and falling down a pit.

While Panzer Dragoon Orta is on rails, each level has at least one split, where you can take different paths. The path you take simply depends on the direction you point. These splits are not obvious and have no indicator, so you'll have to find them on your own. But these aren't arbitrary path changes. The paths will often put you in different surroundings, fighting different creatures. Some paths may be easier than others, but that's for you to discover.

Panzer is heavy on shooting. In fact, you'll have trouble finding many games where you do as much shooting as you do here. But unlike most shooters, where you must always kill to survive, many of the enemies in Orta don't have to be shot in order to progress. The point of Panzer isn't simply to beat a level or beat the game. It's partly about experiencing the sights of Panzer's world and partly about replaying levels to attain better rankings. There are plenty of creatures in Orta you won't have to kill. But if you want a good rating (and you will want one, if this game is going to appeal to you), you'll need to shoot down as many enemies as possible.

That's, perhaps, what makes the Panzer formula so addictive. For all of its beauty and dazzle, the gameplay is pretty simple. You destroy and you try to avoid dying. There are no pits to leap over, no puzzles to solve. Your goal is to shoot down as many enemies as possible. Orta is, essentially, a throwback to old school gaming when a game only took a few hours to pass, but the gameplay was so addictive that you played it again and again. Like Frogger, Ms. Pac-Man, Super Mario Bros., Contra, or the original Sonic, Panzer Dragoon Orta has an intangible extra that makes it worth playing again and again.

Orta isn't quite as simple as I've made it sound. Though the concept is quite basic (and that's a good thing), there are lots of small gameplay nuances you'll have to learn to become a true master. I doubt anyone could pass Orta without stretching past the basic mechanics of shooting everything in sight. You may make it through easy difficulty with basic maneuvers, but you'll never survive normal and hard modes without developing your gameplay strategy. And if you want the best ratings, you'll need to use every trick in your dragon's arsenal.

Rail shooters, unfortunately, are a dying breed. But Sega continues to put them out. Rez, for PS2 and House of the Dead III for Xbox were both good shooters. But Panzer is the best. Addictive, fun, and fantastic, this one is a true demonstration of the power of Xbox. You couldn't ask for a more beautiful game, and you won't find a better rail shooter anywhere. Panzer doesn't try to do anything more than be the best rail shooter around. It isn't trying to be better than Halo, it's not trying to be GTA: Vice City -- It's a rail shooter. And for what it is, as limiting as some gamers may find it, it's about as good as it gets.

Old school gamers and fans of that brand of gameplay and feel will probably be able to enjoy Orta a bit more. Anyone who expects to get total control of a dragon, who wants to fly about like they're playing Crimson Skies may be disappointed at first. This is a shooter on rails, not a dragon flight sim. It's a fantastic game and as long as you go in knowing that the game is about multiple play-throughs, beating your own rankings, and enjoying a well-crafted world, then you should be able to enjoy and love Panzer Dragoon Orta.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not so much a game but a test of your frustration...
This game requires a great great great deal of patience. The environment's graphics are eye catching. You play Orta who escapes from a prison where you were kept not for crimes but as a weapon to be used in future wars. This escape leads to a chase through different lands battling the Empire trying to recapture you. The game is a rail game in that the direction of motion is already chosen like a roller coaster. Your job is to dodge and destroy the enemy with the drone at your disposal. There are 10 long levels with bosses at each levels. The frustration comes in that any mode the game is in is not easy. You can make it up to and pass the boss but if you don't finish the level you either have to start ALL over again at the beginning of the level or if your lucky at the boss. This may or may not be a good thing since you start with the life points at the level you entered with. No whole new life so if you're barely alive you might as well restart the level. The other problem I have with this game is that if you do get to the boss and have to leave to do errand or homework there's no saving AT the boss. You either have to keep the box on or start the level all over again. Changing dragon modes takes practice but my next gripe regards control response after trasforming to the desired dragon especially from Heavy wing to Glide Attack. There's a lag in that you can't glide for 3-4 seconds after tranforming and this has nothing to do with the regeneration bar. I've played video games sinces 1976. This game is way difficult and not recommended for little kids. You will get blisters on your fingers from firing and transforming. There are subtitles and the characters speak an unfamilar language. The movies can be skipped by pressing "start". There are lots of "Easter eggs" in the game. The real bad thing about this is it's replayability. I'm presently on Level 4 (Normal) and after all the levels are done I WON'T be playing this game any more. There's just no way I'lll take that trip again. It's like Boot Camp. You'll do it once and don't want to do it ever again!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great shooter with original, wonderfully created worlds
The rail shooter has gone the way of the dodo, now that most shooters allow the player to move around at will as in Doom or Full Spectrum Warrior. However, the folks at

Panzer Dragoon Orta has made the move from Sega onto the Xbox, and it's gameplay should please most fans. Your dragon can alter between three main modes; heavy mode gives you more firepower but less manoeuvring capabilities, Glide mode allows for better movement while normal mode is a compromise between the two. You'll have an opportunity to upgrade with powerups as the game proceeds, giving you most blasting power. However, you can only upgrade one of these modes, so you'll have to choose wisely.

The player takes on the role of Orta, a prisoner all her life, who escapes after her jail is attacked by a troop of dragonmares. Riding on top of a dragon-like beast, she goes in search of answers.

The game takes you through several different worlds, beautiful in both conception and design. I was particularly taken with the organic nature of the second level, as well as the jump into TRON-like computer environment at the fourth. Enemy design is unique and occasionally surreal,

Some splendid cut-scenes break up the game and they're fairly entertaining, including an episode where the character joins a desert being's harem, though briefly.

Completing the game doesn't take too long, however, and you should be able to finish in about two hours. There are harder modes available for you to tackle, and if you want to go back to the roots, there's even the original Panzer Dragoon on the disc, accessible once you win the game.

One can tell Panzer Dragoon Orta is a labor of love; fast moving and varied gameplay, a compelling story and excellent world design rack it up a notch above the normal shooter.

5-0 out of 5 stars My favorite game
I just got my xbox today, and I bought this along with Halo and Ninja Gaiden.

Out of the three games, i find this one more enjoyable. It's just plain fun. In those other 2, it takes some time to get into, but this game jumps right into action.

It's also easy to get a hang of. You can play through the first level on you very first time holding the s-controller. It's just insanely fun.

The graphics also keep me happy. In the opening cutscene, I was going insane. It just looked so nice.

I love this game.
This game loves me. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars VERY, VERY, VERY dissapointing
This game is the worst game I have ever played! ok, so not as bad as Syberia for xbox but bad enough that I would rate it 2 stars! even though the storyline is ok, the game ended to quickly. Also, the battle scenes (Harry practicing his magic on the washing machine) was very fake and very boring. The washing machine moved in a pattern all the time so there was no surprise to what it would do next.

If you ever want to play this game, I suggest that you should be able to withstand the annoying save games (you can't allways save the game whenever you want). So go ahead and give it a try if you aren't afraid of wasting your money.

4-0 out of 5 stars Extremely fun but too short
ok so basically when I bought this game I couldnt wait to play it. it was really addicting but then all of the sudden I was at the basilisk. all in all, its super fun but its too short. (the quidditch is my favorite part) I ended up beating it in 2 days. I was just disappointed. the voices in this game dont even resemble the real voices of the characters. ok so there's only 6 days and on each day you do 1 class except for like 1 day you do 2 classes. Iwould not recommend this game to people who like slightly challenging games. its cute for little kids but i give it one thumb up.

4-0 out of 5 stars Magic gone WILD!
This game is great. I would question the buttons and handling myself but the magic and action makes up the missiong star. This is a great game for anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cute and fun game.
I loved playing Harry and the animation, music, and settings are beautiful. I only wish the teachers played a more important part and Gilderoy exposed like in the book and movie.

Also, Aragog was more tough to beat than the Basilisk, but still I enjoyed this game and have played it many times since.

3-0 out of 5 stars Much Too Short
In three words that really sums it up for me. The game itself is pretty fun, but I ended up beating it in a day because it was just too short. I was also disappointed with the ending being much too easy and hurried. Additionally, I second whoever wrote in their review that the camera angles are just not helpful and that the issue of losing your beans every time you're hit is such a pain. I suppose that was it really.. most of the levels are pretty fun, just not long enough. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Really dispointing!
Yu-gi-oh finally comes to the x-box and I was waiting a long time for it and it wasent that good! Frist of all the monsters don't do anything it shows the picture of them then they do nothing when they attack! Then it take a really really long time to get good cards. You wont get trape and magic cards unless you play for a really long time! Then the people you battle are not very smart. I thought this would be a graet game but it is not that good. If you are a person who will plsy this for a long time you will like this game. The good things about the game are that it has a lot of diffrent cards and it has good grafics.

5-0 out of 5 stars A definate for the fans.
This is the best yu-gi-oh game out there except for the tcg. This resembles the card game the most out of all the card games i have seen so far. Its quite fun and if you are a fan of the tcg it comes with 3 trading cards you will enjoy.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good game, good promos
I like this game a lot.The thing I don't like about it is that the monsters don't use their real attacks, just some stupid thing. The promos are really good, but mine are coming in half. This is a must have for any duelist, you can combine strategies and use cards you don't have, which is the best.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Yet
I've not been a huge fan of the "Yu-Gi-Oh!" video games - up till now. "Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dawn of Destiny" is definetly a cut above "Forbidden Memories" and "The Duelists of the Roses" (I don't have a GameCube.) The biggest problem with this game is the fact that it has no real storyline other than this: You're a beginning Duelist challenging master Duelists such as Yugi, Kaiba, Joey, Marik, and Bakura to Duels. Your first opponents are three Duel Robots, as Seto Kaiba (jerk) periodically taunts you between Duels. After defeating his scrap metal, you go on to more powerful Duelists. The graphics were great, but there wasn't enough of them; Each battle between two monsters lasts two seconds or so. This game was great because we finally get to play on the console with the REAL rules instead the variations we've seen in previous "Yu-Gi-Oh!" console games. I mean, "The Falsebound Kingdom" didn't even involve cards! Anyway, I wish this game had a storyline, because with all of the interesting characters (such as Bakura, Shimon, Ishizu, and other lesser characters) I reckon Konami could have put together a good one. Hopefully, the next "Yu-Gi-Oh!" will have a rich and exciting storyline combined with the original gameplay.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good game, but not the best.
Okay, I'm a Yu-Gi-Oh fan & have the Power of Chaos Yugi & Kaiba. I've never played any of the Gameboy or Playstaion versions so I have no reference other than the cartoon, the P.C. games & the very few tournaments I've been to. In my opinion this game follows the tournament rules basically to a tee. That is a good thing for people looking to really learn the game. But there's no tutorial & you need to know what the cards are because, when your opponent plays a spell of trap card they show it to you but you have no idea what's happening. I'm no Yugi expert so I don't know all the cards & having an opponent play a card & wondering, okay what now, is not very fun. At least the Power of Chaos games has a card description on the side for every card played, so when I encountered a card I wasn't familiar with I could see what it did before having to make my next move. But putting that aside it's also very cool playing against all of the characters form the cartoon. But, you're going to lose A LOT. They start you off with a few good cards but it takes forever to get better ones. Overall it's a good game but not for beginners ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Fans Only
This is a generic Survival Horror game, no more, no less. The only people who will enjoy this game are the fans, because it makes a lot of references to the 7th season.Since I'm not a huge fan of the X-Files, I knew nothing about the 7th season, I've only watched 2 or 3 shows before.

Anyway, most people should stay away from this, it's not a great Survival Horror game, and it's controls are clunky. Also the graphics are not that great and the animations could have really been better.

The fans will love all the DVD extras and the in jokes (some were explained to me by a friend).

If you're just a survival horror fan, I would suggest the Silent Hill series as well as Resident Evil, those are great survival horror games, this one, well is good for the fans, but the rest is either too generic, or too frustrating.

3-0 out of 5 stars Survival Horror, Basic
This game is just another basic survival horror game like Resident Evil or Silent Hill. If it wasn't the fact it was The X-Files, this game could have gone down the drain. But seeing the old characters of the series and how it ties in with the storylines makes it very exciting for the fans. The scenarios and puzzles of the game really relate to the series and that makes it a more fun game to play. You actually get the feel that you are watching an episode of the X-Files and a part of it as well.
With these facts involved, I would have given a better review; however, I found the camera angles and controls very annoying. It's the type of game where if you push upward, the character moves in that direction according to the current camera angle rather than the concept where you push upward and your character is always moving in a forward direction. I hate this especially when you are running from 'boss' monsters and at a certain aspect point the camera view switches two to three times. This causes your character's movement to go haywire, running in all different directions while the monsters are eating you alive.
Maybe some may not agree, but I think the character movement should have been assigned in one way where UP is forward, LEFT moves left, and so on. The constant shifting of the camera angles makes it difficult to control. Of course, after a while you get a hang of it, but the fact this conditioning has to take place made it difficult to enjoy the first few hours of the game.
Luckily, you get to play two different versions of the game in a sense (you get to choose to play as Scully or Mulder), which is a big plus. The storyline may be the same, but you still get to see it in another person's view, based on the "character's character" in the show.

4-0 out of 5 stars Better than the last game
I got this game as a gift and wasn't sure if I'd like it or not. Let's face it, licensed games are notoriously bad (need I mention Enter the Matrix?). And, while this game is no work of survival horror gaming art, like Fatal Frame or Clock Tower, it is a helluva lot of fun. If you loved the show, especially in the early years, go ahead and pick it up.

And kudos to Fox Interactive for publishing really good titles based on their licenses, such as the two Buffy games and Simpsons Hit n' Run. Just please, please, please don't make a Married with Children game. Thanks!

4-0 out of 5 stars Now if they'd bring back the show it be perfect
Fabulous that they were able to get the stars to agree to do the voices for the Game! This game isn't perfect, but for me it was just what I was looking for in a new game.It had a little Resident Evil(Zombies), Silent Hill (Eerie Surroundings) and then the X-files storyline! After I got used to the controls and what the game was about I was hooked. The main complaint for me was it wasn't longer! If they do a sequel I will have it on preorder as soon as I hear about it.

It has the bit of mystery of the X-files but is basically a combo game with shooting/puzzles and even a few Autopsy's thrown in.They really have a place to go with this game if they choose to.

I know that doesn't answer all your questions about the game, but it's worth trying. If you don't want to buy it check it out at your rental store.

5-0 out of 5 stars x files resist or serve is better than ever!
This game is the best game I have played. In fact it should be the best game on ps2. of course this is my opinion. Some of the weapons and stuff you get on this game are, a pistol, shotgun, pills for healing life, a flashlight, and some other equipment. If you are a resident evil type fan, then this is the game for you. I would say that everything in this game is great. Especially when the monsters pop out of nowhere. This game is usually hard unlles you knew what was going to happen. This game is tight and cool.(very) if you play this game have a great time. I know I did when I first started. I played from 12:00am to 3:00pm because it was so fun. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Pandora Tommarow: another great game from Tom Clancy
One thing: I have never played the prequel to this game and do not intend to.

I loved this game and I thought the graphics were great. The graphics were much more solid than Prince of Persia, which is a good fact since this game was very serious and present.

I didn't actually buy this game but I rented it and intend to buy it soon. Even though I only played it for a week I understood the plot, gameplay, and idea of the game pretty well. I love how this game was realistic so that on some levels you couldn't kill opponents.

I also loved the dark/light aspect of it. If you were in light you'd probably be seen and if you were in dark you probably wouldn't. It's so realistic you have to actually hide the bodies of unconsious people and they don't just "dissapate" like in other games

I'm Colton and I loved this game

2-0 out of 5 stars A lame followup for a great game
First of all, in response to "a gamer", this is not a first person shooter. Second, it is a very poor excuse for a Splinter Cell sequel. The dialouge is inane, and the rules that I hated about part one are even more strict in this one. Now, not only will you be spotted in the light, but most of the time you will spotted in pitch darkness. Then that idiot will come over the line and say "What the hell are you doing? The mission's over!" I wouldn't mind that style of gameplay so much if it were consistant, but the game is full of glitches (or just plain careless programming) that will cause this to happen. Sometimes you will sneak out of the shadows and grab someone, but if you made a little bit of noise they will immediately call in the alarm. The funny thing is, you have this friggin' guy in a choke hold, and he's having a conversation about an intruder on his radio! Meanwhile, your boss is shouting in your earpiece what an idiot you are and how the mission's over! All this time, I'm thinking "why is this happening? Here I am, holding this guy in a choke hold, in pitch blackness, with nobody else around, and my mission is falling apart around me?! If I wasn't such a poorly rendered collection of data...if this were Spinter Cell part one, this wouldn't be happening." I feel sorry for Sam Fisher. He should have retired before the agency lost their minds.
I highly recommend that Ubi Soft never tries to coattail on a great game's name by releasing sloppy work like this again. I am dissapointed and will be very vigilant about buying Ubisoft products again. The only reason I give it two stars is because it still has a pretty cool atmosphere, but that certainly isn't enough to make it even a mediocre game. I have played worse though.

5-0 out of 5 stars Splinter Cell: Gamecube
This is, without a doubt, the greatest game ever made. I recently bought Pandora Tomorrow and it's shaping up to be even better. Anyone who would give this game less than 5 stars more than likely doesn't own it, or hasn't beaten it. The ending video is awesome, and the overall story is the best i have ever seen. If you disagree with my review, YOUR WRONG.

END

2-0 out of 5 stars Good graphics, annoying load times/checkpoints
I wanted to like this game. After playing through Splinter Cell, I thought this game would be awesome. After renting the game, I found that the controls are different from the first Splinter Cell. Although the manual says that you can zoom (binoculars) with the C-stick downflick, it's actually a light press of the L trigger. Also, using the SC-20 rifle is difficult to use - the sniper view also requires a light press of the L-trigger, which is the same button to hold your breath. There is another typo in the manual - I can't remember the exact details. I found the graphics to be improved in comparison to the first game. However, the multitude of checkpoints made the pace of the game unnecessarily slow. Panning the camera can make the framerate drop noticeably.
My recommendation - rent it for yourself first to see if the game is for you. After playing other stealth action games, Pandora Tomorrow is just not up to par.

5-0 out of 5 stars Just as good as Halo for xbox! By: A 12 year old!
I have found out that the best systems to get this game on are gamecube and xbox. They will have the same graphics. Ps2 is not as good good on this game as the other consoles. But xbox and Ps2 will have online action plus original multiplayer when you play on the same console. Gamecube won't have online but will have multiplayer. But... Gamecube will have extra weopons and a longer single player mode. Ubisoft said each console with have something special on this game. Gamecube has better single player mode and ps2 and xbox have online. I stronly recomend buying this game for gamecube. I own an xbox and a gamecube so I hope I helped your desision on which console to get it on. So.... GET IT ON GAMECUBE!! ITS THE BEST BEST GAME TO HALO!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A fun game
This game is fun and has good graphics I recomend it for people who think a lot of games are to hard. This game might be toeasy for hard core gamers but kids will enjoy it. Once you figure it out it's kind of easy but I think it's my favorite game for GBA so far. Get it if you like BK games.

5-0 out of 5 stars nice addition to the banjo-kazooie series
Well I love the original two for the N64 and when I saw all these great reviews for the game when I first read them,I decided to buy it...

and boy was it worth it!

The graphics are beautiful, the music, voices, and sound effects are what you'd expect from a banjo-kazooie game(which are good)and the gameplay is wonderful! There's races you compete in,time trials and the works, just like in the other two for the 64. I highly recomend this game for you to add to your collection, and if you loved the other two banjo-kazooie games, you're more than likely going to love this one.

1-0 out of 5 stars THIS GAME SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS BY FAR THE VERY WORST BANGO KAZOOIE GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED IN MY LIFE. BECAUSE OF THIS GAME I AM NEVER BUYING ABSOLUTELY NONE OF BANGO KAZOOIE MERCHANDISE.PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS, I BEG OF YOU. YOU WILL BE WASTING YOUR MONEY. I WOULD GIVE IT NO STARS AT ALL BUT THE LOWEST I COULD DO IS ONE STAR.

5-0 out of 5 stars Interesting
when i first got this game, i didn't know what to expect. A Banjo-Kazooie game for GBA? Surely it couldn't be that much fun. I had long been awaiting another sequal to the game. And i found out there had already been 2 made. This, and one that hasn't been released yet, called "Banjo Pilot", a racing game. This game was more fun than I had ever expected it to be. I had very impressive graphics for a hand-held console. And the plot itself was very impressive. Overall, the game was very enjoyable.

3-0 out of 5 stars The Best Game With Tons Of Action & Adventure
It is a very fun game like a said before ... Read more
