4-0 out of 5 stars Very Good Baseball Game
This game was very good because it has a lot of cool things to do.You can make up your own season and make lots of trades. There is also an option to just play an exhibition game. There are a lot of stadiums to pick from and a lot of real and fake teams to pick from.

5-0 out of 5 stars YOU BETTER BUY IT!
This is the best baseball game on earth.
It is even better than EA sport's MVP 2005.
My friend has that game, and I tried it.
That game stinked.
It had bad graphics.
It wasn't even realistic like MLB 2005.
So instead of MVP 2005, buy MLB 2005.
The reason is IT'S A BETTER GAME!A

4-0 out of 5 stars A Review
Overall this game is an O.K. game. It's not the best. Here are some pros and cons.

Pros - Graphics are very nice.Franchise and career modes are very fun.If you're like me and you don't want to play the whole season, you can just simulate it.Unlockable features can help your team very much. You can even unlock old jerseys.

Cons - It is almost impossible for the computer players to make an error. There isno Create-A-Team.Some times I put some one in the bullpen for 3 innings and then when I check if they're ready they are cold.

Overall this is a pretty good game.

3-0 out of 5 stars O.K. Game, Could Be Better.
After renting both MVP Baseball 2004 and MLB 2005, I decided to buy one of them.Unfortunately I chose this one. This game isn't the best on graphics but it's o.k.The fans could definately be improved. Also, I think this game was released to early. The lineups in this game don't even match up to the real MLB 2004 season.Do they expect that teams will have the same lineups from 2003 to 2005?It is also hard to hit outside of Rookie mode, but you score maybe 10 runs so you want to go to a harder level but then you won't get any. There are some fun things like career mode where you create a person and follow them through there career, but after a while that can get boring because your player stinks at first and you can't get a hit.Overall this game is pretty fun, but i would suggest a different game instead.

4-0 out of 5 stars Cool Game
I only gave it 4 stars because some of the calls aren't too good and plus they are somewhat strange... Being a ten year old, I think it should be better in graphics and you should not have to unlock allstar teams.Otherwise, I think it is a good game! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Rise of Rinse and Repeat
Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu, for the XBox is a Beatem-up game. You can choose from four different characters: Batman, Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl. Regardless of who you pick, even though the story unfolds a bit differently, the gameplay mechanics remain the same. You must rescue hostages before time runs out. And the way to rescue hostages is to beat-up the bad guys. You are awarded points for making combo attacks. Then at the end of the levels you can purchase (or learn new combo attacks). Punch, kick and then slam the bad guys to the ground. This is basically all you do! Over and Over! Being a fan of the Batman animated series, I do have to give it points for beautiful graphics, which looks like the cartoon. The sound effects are also good! and best of all, they used the same voice-actors from the cartoon. This however, is not enough to save a mediocre game.

Pros:
+looks like the cartoon
+good sound effects
+good controls
+voice actors from the cartoon
+lots of unluckable goodies

Cons:
-time based missions
-linear gameplay
-enemies cheat
-repetative gameplay
-start levels over when you die
-A.I. is dumb as a rock
-feels like a PSONE powered game
-rinse and repeat

4-0 out of 5 stars Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu
if you like Batman you will like is game

5-0 out of 5 stars Great graphics, great combo-fighting gameplay
Batman is a cartoon classic, fighting crime in the gritty streets of Gotham City. In this video game, Batman is joined by Robin, Nightwing and Batgirl in his quest to take down Sin Tzu.

The graphics are really stellar in a cartooney sort of way. Batman's cape flows behind him as he moves, headlights show dust particles, the puddles of water reflect their surroundings perfectly as you move around. Birds fly up as you approach, cans tumble out of your way. Shadows lighten and darken as you move through areas.

The fog effects are cool and when you get gassed, the screen becomes woozy in a VERY neat way. I really give this game high marks for its graphic achievements.

On the other hand, being a cartoon, it does seem a bit TOO clean at times. The water doesn't ripple when you go through it. It's more like walking through a Disney version of a "gritty city" - the actual comic was much more gritty. But that's a minor flaw.

The sound feels quite appropriate - both the music and the crunches and thwaps. The attack combos are great and fluid, and you get the little color "splats" when you hit an enemy.

The game is very much like the Two Towers and Return of the King series in that you learn series of combos and after each mission can buy yourself more for the given character you're using. You get rated on how many of each quality type of attack you use, and can replay levels to better your score.

The game for some reason reminds me very much of the old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game on the ancient Nintendo console. You're a crimefighter in a dark-but-clean city landscape, battling thugs that pop up out of manholes and out of alleys. You can even do co-op play if you want!

This game isn't a complex RPG or puzzle game, but for anyone who loves comics or the Return of the King style of levelling up and building combos, this is a fun way to spend your time. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Great if you like platform games, so-so if you don't...
We'll start by saying I've watched every episode of Futurama and love it to death.I'm eagerly anticipating the release of Season 5 on DVD.The game's graphics and sounds are pretty true to the series, and it is done in the same sense of humor as the series. If it had been more of an "adventure" style game and less of a "platform jumper" it would probably get 5 stars from me.But I absolutely HATE games where you spend 95% of your time hopping from one platform to another, with each mistake costing you a life and requiring you to start jumping all over again.I think platform jumpers are a crutch to avoid having to invent more interesting and entertaining challenges in the content of a game.If you're the sort of person who loves those run and jump games, and love Futurama, you'll love this game.If not, you'll probably feel (like me) that it's "so so".I only got about 2-3 levels into it before I got bored with all the jumping and quit playing.

4-0 out of 5 stars I can't believe all the bad reviews this game has.
This game is a blast! I mean c'mon, you get to be Fry, Bender, Leela, and Dr. Z! How cool is that! I admit the game has some flaws. OK so the rotating camera is a little hard to control and can drive you crazy when you get killed on jumps. But except for Bender's one minute countdown out of the canyon, you can take your time on each jump. The funnest characters to play are Fry and Leela, but the whole game is great. Bender has the best lines, when he picks up his pink rocks for money he says cool stuff like 'This'll spruce up the pimp mobile' and 'Dis'll go great with my gold tooth.'

5-0 out of 5 stars It's like getting an extra episode of Futurama!
A full episode worth of cut scenes between the levels make it a must-have for any Futurama fan.

The game gets better and better as it goes along. Don't judge it based on the warm-up.

2-0 out of 5 stars Fan of Futurama?Spend your money on the DVDs.
Cel-style animation.Original voices.Cut scenes with all the off-beat humor of the original TV series. What's not to love?

Well, in the "not to love" category we have: Weak graphics. Substandard (non-customizable) controls.Dumb missions. And a third person camera that absolutely defies player control.

All in all, I thouroughly enjoyed the cut scenes, and spent much of the gameplay trying to gouge out my own eyes. Thanks a load, Fox Interactive.

4-0 out of 5 stars I'll Be Fair
While the gameplay is pretty sub par, the license ups the playability and the fun factor. Futurama was/is a great show that spent less time fine tuning and more time simply being funny. Potentially, this show didn't quite catch fire like The Simpsons because the subject matter was a lot foreign to us 20th Centurians. However, strip away that aspect and you have one funny show. A video game was long overdue.

As far as platformers go, none have really stuck out to me since the original Super Mario Bros. This probably has a lot to do with the genre not really exciting me overall (with the exception of Ratchet and Clank). But, I love the show that this game is based on and despite poor reviews by a lot of game publications, I felt the prospect of a lost episode was worthy of purchase. As I stated up top, the gameplay is pretty average and even shoddy at times. Exiting a room and having the camera lag behind is inexcusible. Another aggravating aspect is having enemies come from behind unexpectedly and hainv gto spend more time refocusing than attacking back and ultimately getting killed. These kind of bugs should be banned from finished products and after soooooo many games that have been released, you figure bugs this premature would be a thing of the past.

The fun comes from simply being able to participate in this show in building a new episode from start to finish. Despite reviewer gripes, the load times are not much different from most other games. Star Wars Jedi Outcast II has waayyy longer load times. The targeting is actually quite simple considering some of the game's missteps and toggling between weapons is also surprisingly easy. The graphics are slightly disappointing compared to other cel-shaded titles but at least they had the right idea rather than opting for3D. Overall, I would give Futurama 3.25 stars but as a fan of the show, I gave it an even four. Gameplay-wise, it probably doesn't deserve that many but the license is a solid five so 4 is pretty fair. Give it a chance, you might even enjoy it. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

Originally released for the Sega Dreamcast and Nintendo 64, StarWars: Episode I, Racer was a decent title with its share of flaws--mostnotably its control and graphics. The game's PlayStation2 sequel, Star Wars:Racer Revenge, addresses many of the original's shortcomings and is a vastlysuperior product. Rainbow Studios--known for its strong racers such as ATVOffroad Fury and Motocross Madness--developed this game, unlike theoriginal. The developer's prowess at creating racing games is evident, as thistitle features much better controls and more compelling races. Furthermore, itreceives a nice graphics upgrade that showcases the capabilities of the PS2.This game is superior in every respect to its predecessor.

Game modes include practice, single play, tournament, time trials, and versus.Tournament mode is the bulk of the game. Players can beat it in fewer than threehours and it isn't particularly difficult. Replay value is added by requiringyou to beat the tournament mode several times so you can unlock all the game'ssecrets. Oddly enough, the game's sound--usually LucasArts's forte--is hamperedby an unusual effect: at times you'll hear the full Star Wars treatment,as John Williams's score and cool sound effects totally capture the feel of themovies, but other times you'll hear only the sound of your engine. Theenvironmental audio is an interesting choice that wasn't executed very well.Audio and brevity issues aside, this game is one of the strongest StarWars titles released for a console. --Raymond M. Padilla

Pros:

  • Much better gameplay than the original
  • Excellent graphics
  • Tight controls
Cons:
  • Extremely short
  • Not very challenging
  • Music fade-ins and -outs are weird

THIS IS THE MOST FRUSTRATING HARDEST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED! (...)IT MIGHT BE ALITTLE FUN AND EASY IN THE BEGINNING BUT THEN IT GETS IMPOSSIBLE!!!(...)DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!! IT IS SO(...)FRUSTRATING!!(...) AAAAAAAHHH(...)

5-0 out of 5 stars star wars racer revenge
I would like to know when this game will come out.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Sci-Fi Racing Game Ever!!!
I've had this racing game since it was released and I still think it is the best racing game I have ever played.Lucasarts should make a sequal for the next set of consoles.

5-0 out of 5 stars Easy to win straight, but....
This is an incredible game. I just bought it the other day and I love it. But I'm still not finished. Sure, I've beaten a few tourniments, but there is more.

See, the reason I'm writing this is because I've been reading a lot of reviews saying that it's just too easy. What they fail to mention is that even though Tournament mode is very very short, you have to play it with all your racers in order to make everything equal. In addition, there are secret characters that are unbelieveably hard to get. These are:

Episode 1 Sebulba: Win first place in all races on regular Sebulba's career.

Episode 1 Anakin: Beat the best lap time for each race (it seems easy at first, but those last two races make it almost impossible).

Watto: Beat the best 3-lap race time for each track (see above parentathis).

Darth Maul: Beat the best KO number in each race (oddly enough, it's the first race of the game that gives me the most trouble)

Darth Vader: Unlock EP1 Anakin, Watto, and Maul, then (and only then) win the tourniment with one of those three.

How difficult are these characters to get? Well, let me put it this way: I've been playing almost nonstop for a week and the only onje of the above characters I have is EP1 Sebulba (though I'm close to getting Maul).

So if you want praise for this incredible game, read some of the other reviews. However, read this one after to dispell the "too easy" myth. Sure, winning the tourniment mode with one character is wicked easy (I did it in a matter of hours). But try winning it with 18 and unlocking 5 more.

Dos neek ta tunk bantha poodoo.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun racing game
First off, I love racing games. They are fun, you need to think quickly at times, you can play with more than one player (usually), and those "winner by a nose" finishes make it all worth it.

I get this all from this game.I've really enjoyed playing this game and building up my character while trying to unlock other characters to play with. Each course is imaginative and has its own sets of challenges.

My only problem is that it can get easy really quickly.I wish there were a way to download courses off the Internet or an ability to create your own.

But in the end, if you like racing games I would highly recommend this one!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Conflict: Desert Storm II
Desert Storm II is unique due to the fact that you operate a small team of four elite soldiers both in single player mode or in multi-player mode. One by one, you have to select and move your soldiers into position.Soldiers have access to a large variety of weapons and can swap items between one another. What I like most about this game is that the weapons operate as they would in real life. For example, if you plant a C-4 explosive and then detonate it when you are close, you will kill yourself.Novices will love the machine gun options. You can adjust the gun settings for semi-auto, fully auto, and grenade launch (for guns equipped).Skilled players will love the sniper rifle, which has the capacity to zoom in on an enemy even from great distances. It seems that anything that is possible in real life, is also possible in this game. You will never find yourself saying, "Why can't I...I should be able to..." Each mission offers a new style of excitement. You will face off against infantry, tanks, helicopters, and you will defuse or blow-up weapons of mass destruction. This game offers challenge without the frustration. I recommend playing the "training" sessions before going into war.The training sessions will teach you how to operate the weapons and all their advanced features.I would highly recommend this game for a teenager or more mature player due to the level of strategy and realism.Adult players will be satisfied. This game is worth every penny.

5-0 out of 5 stars a good rewiew
this is one of the best games I ever played it is worth the money it willmake you happy

5-0 out of 5 stars cool and easy
get this game. you will like.I got and played for 1 hour and loved it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Individuality equals Superiority
The thing that makes the Conflict: Desert Strorm series different is the ability to control more than one soldier at a tiume. This is an improvement on the other war games whereit is mainly one action hero behind enemy lines who can take out incredible numbers of enemy soldiers, and win the war singlehandedly. ODS2's graphics are amazing and the Co-ops multiplayer was a wonerful touch. normally in video games I get wiped all over by the people sitting right next to me, but in this game we can play on the same team. perfect for the losers out there who cant beat their older (or younger) sibling. The sound quality was great and the maps are far superior to that of Socom. All in all this is a must have game for all war lovers.

5-0 out of 5 stars tru game
if you a fan of socom..........get this game cuz its 4 gamecube n my opinion is that it blows socom away. it is also better than the first one. although the first one is good too.it is madd realistic n it like tha war goin on in iraq rite now.....this game is ill pick up a copy ... Read more

Wouldn't it be nice to play games without a cord stretching across yourliving-room floor, especially if you have little kids or large dogs in yourhousehold? Nintendo's Wave Bird isn't the first wireless controller ever broughtto market, but it's a whole lot better than what came before. You may remember abrief fad a few years ago with spotty infrared devices. These units failedbecause they were a lot heavier than standard controllers, and also because theyrequired a direct line of sight between the controller and the infraredreceiver. The Wave Bird is much lighter (it weighs a bit more than a regularcontroller) and uses radio frequency signals for reliable game control atdistances of up to 20 feet. Unless your playing on a stadium-size TV screen, that should be more than enough. The unit will last for about 100 hours of useon just two AA batteries and has 16 channel frequencies, so you'll easily beable to hook up four controllers without interference. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Controllers Ever!
I swear by these controllers. I have 3 of them and they are workhorses. Couldn't lose the signal if you tried. Highly Reccomend!

5-0 out of 5 stars My Story on the WaveBird Wireless Controller
I first heard about this brand in the Toys "R" Us big toy book.
On Christmas Eve I went to aunt Helene's they have a cool projector and my cousin Matt played with the GameCube on the projcetion screen. He was busy playing an NBA basketball game, and I wanted to play a game with him. So my mom told him to play a game with him, and I picked Mario Party 4. I had the WaveBird wireless controller. When the game was over I wanted it so badly.
I have a baby brother he's a toddler now so he's curious and I don't have to tangle the wires to prevent him from getting it. Instead I can just keep it in a safe place. Also I play on the floor, and it's more comfy playing on the bed. I haven't got it yet because Mom just ordered it.

4-0 out of 5 stars WhyBuy This When you can get a corded controller?
Why? Because it is much more durable. I own 3 corded contollers which I bought at the same time as my only wireless. The corded ones broke about 1 year hence, the wireless is still going strong. [...] In any case, if you are looking for an excellent gaming experience Purchase this item. SOMEWHERE ELSE!

5-0 out of 5 stars the best controller ever
ok this is so awesome i love it alot because i can play it on my bed when my tv is a lil far distance its so cool i dont have to worry about and cords i have 4 controllers 2 are blue then i have this one and i aslso have a black one but out of them all this one was the best so if i were you i would get it.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Wireless Controller of Any System
The Wavebird has set an example for all other wireless controllers. Lighter in weight than the regular controller (although lacking the somewhat cool rumble feature), the battery life of the Wavebird is surpisingly good, lasting much longer than expected. A pair of AA's lasted me all the way through The Wind Waker, and partway through Metroid Prime. Range is excellent, although I find that certain obstacles will cause a little glitching. It has also defeated the problem of the relatively short cord on the regular Gamecube controller. Overall, it's worth every penny. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Chamber Of Fun!
This game is one of the best games I have ever played.

>Every hidden corner can be explored.
>Each spell is very creative.
>The surroundings in the game are very well detailed.
>It is more fun to collect wizard cards in this game than in
any other because the cards unlock many secrets.

From Arigog in the Forbidden Forest to the bascilisk in the Chamber Of Secrets this game is great fun. It is a must play!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game, Great Graphics
I've had trouble finding computer games for my daughter that are age appropriate. Most games labeled "for children" are really for kindergarten & under, and thus too easy & childish."Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets" is just perfect! This is a wonderful game, challenging without being frustrating; great graphics; low on violence; and just plain fun.

4-0 out of 5 stars geting better
This game is better than the first harry potter but don't get me rong I liked the first also.this is another must have for harry potter fans.

5-0 out of 5 stars One great game
This is the best of the 4 Harry Potter games. The graphics are good, the music is good, and the gameplay is great. The spells you learn are really creative. This is the hardest Harry Potter game I've played. However, you have to restart the game to acsoss the Main Menu.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great game for all ages!
Harry Potter and the Chamber Of secrets is a very fun and interesting video game. You start out having to save Ron from the Whomping Willow. On the Whomping Willow there will be a sign that means you may cast Flipendo on it and save Ron. When you arrive at Hogwarts, you're first day you will have a lesson with Proffesor Lockhart on the Third Level. You will have to hit an arrow key on the keyboard as a wand makes its way around it. This is called Rictusempra. It stuns many unusual creatures. It is useful in this game, though. You will then go to the Rictusempra Challenge. When you arrive in a room that has three boxes where you can cast Flipendo on it, look at the doors. On each floor level there will be a picture of Proffesor Lockhart. Cast Flipendo on the blocks until you have the three bottom level doors unlocked. Then unulock the left door and go into it up into the next level and so on. Then when you arrive in the last room You have to hit the creatures into the pit where they belong. Then go up to get the Completion Star, and your time will become your new personal record. What I like to do after I complete the Rictusempra Challenge is go to the Dueling Club and duel other members. After you beat levels, the courts change. Then finish all of the other challenges. When you arrive at the Chamber Of Secrets, I have barely any advice. The only advice I have is that when fighting the Basilisk in the second round, only hit him when his mouth is open. Before you fight the Basilisk, you must gain a lot of health. After you defeat Tom Riddle and the Basilisk, you end up in Dumbledore's office. Go up to the top of his office and look for a Wizard card. Then, when you are finished, do not i mean DO NOT go to the feast. First, you must make sure you have every Silver Wizard card to advance to the Gold Wizard card Challenge. If you do not have every Silver Wizard card, I would duel people and buy cards from sellers. That is all the advice I have. And I recommend to purchase Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My 7 year old daughter loves thinks....
this is the best game she has played on the XBOX.We also have Finding Nemo, but she gets flustered with that game. However, with Fairly Odd Parents: Breakin' Da Rules she is able to play the game with ease over and over again trying to get to Vicki.

She has told me this is the best game (besides THUG - Tony Hawk UnderGround) she has played on the XBOX.

4-0 out of 5 stars Breakin' Da Rules- RULES!
This game was purchased for my little boy who is almost 4.He likes the show so we thought this game would be a cute addition to our xbox collection. It turns out and the game is EXCELLENT!My husband (almost 30 and myself 26) are hooked to playing this game! Our son loves to watch us play it and gets a huge laugh out of it.I have played games I liked better than this one and the graphics are somewhat lacking quality for what I would have expected- but there are so many good things about this game that I feel the purchase was a good one.
First off about the game- Vicky gets a hold of DA RULES book and anything she wishes happens, so Timmy has to go through lots of crazy stages! There is different stages you can select to play.Timmy can choose to play as the mini crimson chin where he is dressed in the red crimson chin outfit to fight crime and Timmy gets has a laser type gun to shoot.Another funny stage Timmy gets to play inside a real video game called the Vicky Virus where he and his friends are stuck inside the game, Timmy has to save his friends! The one we thought was the most funny stage was when Vicky wished that Timmys bathroom was spotless and Timmy turns into a small microscopic player, as small as a germ and he is dressed in this white suit to keep him from getting bacteria on him, he has to fight against grime, grease and soap scum!He has to spray the soap scum clean- when he sprays the icky green soap scum they turn into a white smiling happy soap bubble! Its crazy!
This game is like the tv show and if you beat the game there is suppose to be a bonus episode of The Fairly Oddparents- which I think is a brilliant idea for a game to include! Also has 8 clips from the tv show and an exclusive game interview with the creator Butch Hartman.
RENT THIS OR BUY IT- YOU"LL LIKE IT!!!
This game may not be what you are looking for and my description may not be award winning- but at least rent it and try it out if your not planning on buying it.But for $20 bucks- its worth it!

1-0 out of 5 stars Example of a Flop
This game is a total flop. It has decent graphics which look very similar to the tv show; it feels like you are in the cartoon. There is a variety of gameplay implemented (though poorly done). Some levels you'll fly like a helicopter, others you swing around like spiderman, by jumping from one building to the next. In other levels you are inside a video game and the enviroment looks like virtual reality. And there is also a level where you are robot in the microscopic world. Sounds like fun huh? But it lacks the good humor from the tv show. It's very frustrating because there is no mini-map or directional arrows, then you end up getting lost in the level! This makes it too hard for the younger gamers and too boring for older gamers.
I suggest that you get other kids game like "Crash Bandicoot" or
"I-Ninja"

Pros:

+looks like the tv show
+sounds like the tv show
+variety in level play
+good controls

Cons:

-stupid weapons
-very, very short levels
-very, very short game
-you will get lost (no mini-map)
-not as funny as tv show
-too hard for kids
-too boring for adults

4-0 out of 5 stars pathetic
Well, I THINK the developers tried to make a somewhat decent game... but they failed horribly.Wouldn't you think they'd stop telling you what magical stars do after you pick up around 80 of 'em?Well, they don't.And, man, if those godparents weren't there to tell me to jump by pressing the jump button... I don't know where I'd be right now.

4-0 out of 5 stars awsm
I loved the game! it is fun because it's funny. i like it when you have to dance, turn into a dog, and be in the video game. ... Read more

The granddaddy of console first-person shooters makes its way to next-generation consoles in style in Turok Evolution. Blast your way through velociraptors, stegosaurs, ankylosaurs, brachiosaurs, and other enemies with the most ludicrously destructive weapons ever--including variable payload cruise missiles, gravity disruptor beams, and the mighty swarm bore--and prepare to pick your jaw up off the floor when you see the devastation they cause. The graphics are utterly gorgeous: the game's 50-odd species, from harmless ickle butterflies to merciless T. rexes, are rendered in painstaking detail, and the environments are lush and interactive--plants and trees move as creatures brush through them, and you can shoot down trees to crush your enemies (or scuttle off as they try to knock piles of rocks down on you). The explosions and enemy deaths are particularly gobsmacking, and the sound effects are just as good.

Thankfully, all this is backed up by great gameplay--an entirely new game engine has been developed for next-gen hardware, and though Turok Evolution is principally a first-person shooter, in certain levels you're backed up by a squad of allies, and in others you get to ride a flying dino with strap-on rocket launchers. The advanced AI means that both enemies and allies behave in a realistic manner and will adapt their tactics depending on whether you approach with stealth or force. There are over 60 stages across a variety of single- and split-screen multiplayer modes, with different difficulty levels for rookies or experts. Turok Evolution is an absolute must-have for FPS fans. --Rikki Price ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Unfair reviews by nerds
I have never written a game review before, that I can remember, so this won't be all professional or anything. I felt strongly compelled, though, to write a review for this game. It's getting such a bad rap. This review is for people who might want to buy the game, but are scared by the "OMG SUXXORZ" reviews here. I know that when I check out something on Amazon, I always look at the lowest-rated reviews first. But I happen to know for sure this game deserves better than what's been said. Oh, and I'm not a turok groupie, either. This is unbiased.

You should know that the one-star reviews here are likely the products of either:
1) Nerds who are WAAAAY too nit-picky about their videogames and criticize every minute, trivial detail, as if they could program a better game. Pfft.
Or
2) People who bought this game when it first came out. Those people paid $50 for the game. If I were them, I'd be angry, too. Then again, in my opinion NO game is worth fifty bucks. That's just me though. The point is, this game can now be had for under ten dollars (I bought it new for five) and it is definitely worth it.

Let's just say this is an adequate, though overlong FPS with some flying stages thrown in. It wasnt the game of the year, and if you try and play it in one sitting you will probably get bored. The PS2 version only supports 2-player, not 4. The game is flawed in some ways. But other than that, I think for five bucks, this is absolutely a good buy for an FPS fan. Now I will just rant/rave, you don't really need to read it unless you're particularly interested.

The worst aspect of the game is the weapons. The only thing about the game that actually pissed me off. Here's the jist: You CAN use a lot of weapons in this game, but you probably WON'T, because they suck...and it's boring to go through this very long game using only three or four of all that you could be using.

There is a variety to be had, and some are really cool. Anti-gravity gun, for example. Lifts the dude up, then slams him into the wall, SPLAT. Or the secondary mode on the rocket launcher that shoots these little thingies that devour the enemy like pirhanas. Well, not pirhanas since I don't think it works underwater, but anyway.
There is no onscreen menu to quickly select any weapon. You scroll through them forwards or backwards, ala GTA. However, unlike GTA, the scrolling process is SLOOOW. This is annoying, especially in combat.
Another irritating thing the game does, is take away your weapons. Lets say that in level 2 you find the pistol. Beat level 2, start level 3. But where's your pistol? Gone. This is annoying. Perhaps you have to find the pistol again? This was bothersome.
By far, the biggest weapons issue is that most of them are weak and/or useless in close or hectic combat. As mentioned, it takes forever to scroll through them. Even though there are some cool weapons, they don't do much damage, especially compared to the enemies' firepower.
It just seems like having such a selection was a waste. I played through the whole game, and my weapons of choice - the most damaging, and accurate - were the first three you find in the game. The most primitive.

The sound in this game kinda sucks. Personally I found the music annoying, but it can be turned off. What was puzzling to me was the plethora of atmospheric sound, with the neglect to enemy/gameplay sound effects. Its like they left the weirdest things out. You can hear a stegosaurus rambling through the grass, or a tiny dinosaur munching away on another dead dino's carcass, and yet the waterfalls are dead silent. It was just weird. The enemies are even worse. Maybe this part of the game was rushed. I dont know, but I really dont get how they could go so all-out for the ambience, then be so half-assed with the gameplay. Oh well, it doesnt detract much from the gameplay.

The graphics are fine in this game. The way other reviewers were crying about it, made it sound like Spelunker. Visually this game looks great, you can tell a LOT of work went into the outdoor levels. So a certain species of bush always looks pixelated, so the trees and rocks aren't fabulous. Who cares? Trust me, this game looks great and definitely gets the job done.

As far as glitches go, I'll try and give you some perspective. Vice City has ten times the glitches this game has, and Vice City's glitches are twenty times worse than the "glitches" in this game. The glitches in this game are barely noticeable. It only froze once, while loading, and that was after me stupidly leaving my console on for days. The only real glitch that comes to mind is a teeny tiny hardly-noticeable framerate blip in the later levels, when you have a ton of enemies to take out. All that happens is when an enemy spawns there is an ever-so-slight skip.

Flying levels - These do not suck. I suspect the majority of naysayers just couldn't get the controls right - which isn't hard, by the way. I found the flying levels to be fun, visually interesting, and a nice break from the FPS levels. A much needed break for me, because for an FPS this game is LOOOONG. It did get a bit redundant, I admit. There are two scenarios, one being a fixed path where the game pushes you forward and you basically just dodge everything. Two being you are in a big area where you aren't pushed and can turn around and dive, and your objective is to blow up a number of things.

I think that covers the major whines people seem to have. If you demand absolute perfection from a game, even if it only costs five dollars (What's wrong with you?) Don't buy this. Otherwise, enjoy playing through it, and/or enjoy the multi-player mode. Down with anal-retentive, emo-whiny gamers. Happy shooting!

5-0 out of 5 stars The best video game ive ever played and ive played alot.
Dont let the price fool you this game is the best game ever i finished it and im still playing it the multiplayer is awsome the cheats make it really fun i couldn't believe it when i saw it was only $5 the first level wasnt that fun but from then on it was great i think they just used that to get you used to the controls but anyway buy this game its the best!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Turok- fun for the whole family; )
I bought this game for my kids( Game Cube)- and it's great! Four players can hunt each other down using cool weapons, learning strategies & quick thinking. Nothing better than an evening spent w/ the kids(blowing each other apart-Lol), sneaking thru different landscapes, grabbing power-ups, gaining the best sniper postion, and you can even be a spider mine(it is controlled remotely & you can see everything w/ the attached camera) trailing poisonis gas or detonating the embedded charge. You can also loft anti-matter cubes from a safe distance or get right-in-their-face w/ a tomahwak/war club. If anyone knows of a "Part Two" to this game for GameCube- would love to hear about it!

3-0 out of 5 stars Gun-toting lizard men invade Jurassic Park
Turok Evolution is a first person adventure game and part time flight simulator.Don't ask about the story because I have absolutely no idea what's going on.It's about some Indian guy who's trapped in Jurassic Park, and there are gun-toting lizard men on the loose (I kid you not).

You play as Tal'Set (the Indian guy), and it's your job to fight the tyrannical lizard men who are apparently a threat to peace and harmony in The Lost Land.

The jungle scenery and animals are all very nice. You can walk right up to a stegosaurus or brachiosaurus to get a good look at them. The triceratops, on the other hand, wants to mow you down. The T-Rex makes a cameo appearance in one level.Raptors and baby raptors will come after you and try to take a bite out of you.Crocodiles and mountain lions will also come after you. There are turtles and other small animals, and even the occasional butterfly flitting around.

In addition to all these animals, the jungle is populated by gun-toting lizard men.To the game's credit, those crazy lizard men take cover whenever possible. They hide behind rocks, behind trees...whatever they can find. This makes for some realistic and entertaining shootouts. There are also some really cool sniping opportunities.Among your weapons is a "tek bow".It has a sniper scope attached to it, and you can use it to zoom in on far away terrain, then you can zoom in even further to get a good look at an unsuspecting lizard man who hasn't even seen you yet.

You can do all kinds of cool stuff with the "tek bow".You can put an arrow through some poor sap's eyeball at what looks like two hundred feet off.Lots of fun.You can take a guy's arm off and then watch as he looks over at his gushing stump in shock. If there's another guy nearby, he'll freak when he sees his suddenly armless buddy and start firing his weapon blindly. You can take a guy's leg off if you so desire. In addition, you can get explosive arrows (one hit anywhere on the body, and the guy explodes into chunks). There are also poison arrows. When you hit a guy with one of these babies, he'll start convulsing after a couple seconds and start puking his guts out (in graphic detail). It's pretty hilarious.Loads of fun. Those crazy lizard men have many entertaining ways of dying.

The rest of your weapons include grenades, the aforementioned .45 pistol, a shotgun, a flechette gun, a flamethrower, a rocket launcher, and futuristic weapons like a plasma rifle and gravity disruptor (the latter of which can be used to grab a guy in an energy field and then slam him into a wall or drop him off a cliff).

This is an impressive arsenal; but unfortunately, all of the good action takes place during the first four chapters (which are segmented into levels). That's about sixteen levels of good gaming. There's some great scenery as Tal'Set explores the jungle, climbs a mountain side, traverses a large canyon, and descends the other side of the mountain. Then he has to quietly infiltrate the lizard mens' base and sneak around at night, sniping guards in towers and on the ground.

Then things go downhill as you're fighting through the drab corridors and rooms of an underground complex. This progresses into a large city, with yet more uninspired and dull scenery. This fills the majority of the game. The fighting is intense and engaging, but the scenery isn't very interesting. After a while, it becomes downright monotonous.Quantity (of levels) over quality.

The visuals in the great outdoors are great, for the most part. All of the scenery looks appropriately realistic...until you get close to some bushes; then they become pixelated. You can also approach a wall of foliage and see a pre-rendered background behind it.This is somewhat distracting from what is otherwise a realistic looking environment. The interiors of the underground complex and cities are drab, uninspired, and sterile. There's way too much action going on in boring hallways and rooms. To the game's credit, there are some nice levels on catwalks that are suspended over a chasm underneath the city.I did like those.

The sound in this game is a mixed bag.Gunshots, animal chirps and growls, the various panicked outcries of those crazy lizard men when they die..all great. You can hear a guy's footsteps when he's walking or running around nearby (a nice touch). There's not a whole lot of ambient noise, though. You can walk under a waterfall, and there's absolutely no noise as the water pours into a pond right in front of you.Very strange. The music has a nice adventure feel to it and does a great job of setting the mood for each level.

The flight sim levels have you riding the back of a pterosaur that is armed with machine guns and rockets (I kid you not).Don't ask me WHY this Indian guy is riding a pterosaur that has automatic weapons strapped to its wings.I stopped asking questions when I got killed by an angry mob of baboons.I have no idea what I did to annoy them, but those were some irate baboons.

Regardless of whether you're running 'n' gunning or riding a gun-toting pterosaur, this game is hard. It's pretty easy to get killed while running 'n' gunning, and the pterosaur goes SPLAT! like a bug on a windshield if he hits a cliffside or any peice of terrain.

It's difficult to rate this game because the first four chapters are so good. They're worth playing and replaying. The rest of the game is very dull by comparison. My verdict: one thumb up, one thumb down. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A Game Of Great Value
WoW! THERE IS VERY FEW BAD THINGS ABOUT THIS GAME! This game kinda reminds me of nba street! The only differences are the fact that you can not create players there are not as many characters and modes but then again NBA Street is for gamecube so this game is realy graet for a Gameboyadvance. Some of the good quialitys about this game is the fact that u have tournaments and u can win prizes when u win. I think this game as farly good graphics but as for game play it takes a little while to get used to the biotton confrontige but once u get used to it its gret. They've even put in trick points, tricks and trick combos and trick-dunk combo points. The game resimbles NBA Street except for a few miner details. One mager flaw is there is no create player, wich i love to do, butI'm willing to give it up for this game is great.Overall this game is an incredible game. You might be able to win carecters but im not sure because i have only beatin two tournaments buy i have played practice and thats how i know its so great. You should defintly buy this game.

Amazon.com Review

Originally released in 1998, the PC version ofHalf-Life changedfirst-person shooters forever by proving that a compelling story can be told withinthe genre. Prior to the game's release, first-person shooters were mindlessaction games. Half-Life, while containing its fair share of action, alsocontained plenty of exploration, puzzle, and story elements. Now released as aPlayStation2 game, Half-Life has never looked or played better. Thisversion contains the outstanding single-player story mode, as well as a few newones. While the new additions aren't so great, the story mode is one of the bestescapades available on the PS2.

The game follows the adventures of Gordon Freeman, a young research associate atthe Black Mesa Federal Research Facility. A typical day at the office goescompletely awry as numerous alien life forms invade the facility. The fate ofthe facility, and quite possibly the world, is in the hands of an unlikely hero.

The graphics here trump the original's (understandable, as more than three yearshave passed). The character models have four times as many polygons, as well assmoother textures and animations. The sound is also very good, with some of thefunniest voice acting yet heard in a game. Of course, the single-player gameplayis excellent, thanks to some very well-developed enemy artificial intelligence.

Unfortunately, the new modes aren't nearly as brilliant. Decay, the newcooperative mode, seems like an afterthought and pales in comparison to thecooperative modes in Perfect Dark and Halo. Deathmatches onlysupport two players, which is incredibly lame considering many PS2 first-personshooters support four. Despite these flawed modes, the single-player story is sosuperb that it totally warrants a purchase. --Raymond M. Padilla

Pros:

  • Greatly improved graphics from the original
  • Excellent storytelling, especially for the genre
  • Strong enemy artificial intelligence
Cons:
  • Cooperative mode is dull
  • Deathmatch only supports 2 players

2-0 out of 5 stars Dont buy games with steam activation!
The hype gets to everyone, then you just go with the status

quo and not dare post a realistic review so that your friends

or the herd of human sheep look at you like you are a moron.

The game is fun, I have to say. Some of the gameplay though at

times is repetitive, but most of it is innovative/entertaining.

The graphics are NOT the best. Painkiller and Doom 3

deserve that title.

The price is not too hefty for the collectors, you are getting

the old half life, half life 2 and counter strike as well as a

useless booklet and a lame tshirt which I threw away after

the steam activation nightmare.

Those are the good points.

Here are the bad:

The steam activation process is one of the most frustrating

experiences encountered in my life.

It makes microsoft and symantec product activation literally

walks on the beach with your woman compared to the

nightmare that the Steam process is.

You need to be online in order to activate and download

unknown files off their server in order to authenticate.

This can, if you are lucky be done in 30-60 minutes and up to

several hours or days depending on their server.

I can understand Valve's concern over illegal copying, and all

the crackers, hackers, and other useless swine are to blame

for our misery.

I do not copy games or any software

but still must pay for the crimes of others.

I want to put a game in my computer and play it not having to

go through a frustrating activation and endless

verification downloads that do not always work.

This is my first and last game with the steam activation that

I buy. I dont care how good of a game it is, it is not worth it

if you cant play it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent
As stated before this game is dated by a few years and huge years in game development. I took that into consideration while thinking of how many stars this game should get. The graphics while not great (by todays standards) are really very good and the intensity factor is huge. The controls are very sensitive and if you loose your cool under pressure you may find yourself missing your target due to over or under aiming, but hey its better than sloppy inconsistent controls. All in all i would rate this game right up there with the much loved Halo. The graphics arnt as good but the story and gameplay is and as a sci-fi fan i find this game very hard to put down. Lots of mutants and monsters to kill and if your low on ammo you might even wack a guard and steal his.....just a thought. Enjoy.

4-0 out of 5 stars The great game of Half Life
The game half life is about a person who has a job in a lab and somehow makes a tunnel that lets aliens come to earth. When your playing, you jump. You laugh. And in certain parts your even stunned. The game is in my top ten list for best shooting games. It's really fun. I mean who doesn't like killing an alein with a crowbar? Or blowing one up? If I was you this would be one game to buy. Along with the second one too. It's got killing, sneaking, strategy, and you can even ambush people. If you like sci-fi games and like to kill this is certainly for you.

5-0 out of 5 stars If you like half-life
If you tried half-life for PS2 and liked it, you should also get a PC and try the other great mods from the game! they are linked with the same story, but a different point of view from other characters you meet in the half-life game.
oppossing force:
You kno half-life and gordon freeman being the main character? and how aliens and U.S. marine troops are out to get him? We'll in this game, you get to be one of the marine troops, and somehow gets lost from your squad, and in your own adventure! ( in some cases, you see gordoon freeman himself doing the things like you've done in half-life)
blueshift:
become one of the security gaurds in black mesa!

5-0 out of 5 stars Let me say something about the bad reviews
everyone has an own opinion, but i feel like i should counter some things, so use this as a guidline of buying this game.

+The most creative and best storyline i have ever seen. The leve designs are amazing, and the story is ingenius, you will never find a game as great as this one in year. The level designs for examples, have many obstacles like "hmmm, what do i do now, how would i pass this without getting killed.." and many booby-traps i must add. (the booby traps are very surprising and frightening, ex. your walking in a room and suddenly the lights turn off, and you passout, and finding yourself after dumped in a garbage dump which is about to crush you) note: read the other reviews to see a brief summary of the plot.

+A exceptionally hard game! I played on the PC version (i find using the mouse easier) and I put on Easy Mode, and i thought, w/e it will be a piece of cake. well, as you go farthur, there will be more enemies, alien, or human. If your looking for a challenge, here it is! (although maybe they made it easier on the PS2 version)

Things that you must consider:

+THIS GAME IS about 6 years old! (1998) So don't expect shiny new graphics like Halo or Max Payne. In my opinion, a game is not great/fun by the looks of the cover, graphics, and how many weapons you have, a game is fun because of a great story and gameplay! (like the old mario games, its fun, but old.) Don't expect fancy animations, or anything, although i must add that the sound (not soundtrack) in this game is good. Ive heard that this game influenced many of the *new shiny games with intense graphics* out there today.

If you want to try it out, you can rent it first, but you definetely won't beat it before the due date :) ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A GOOD REMAKE OF THE SIMS ON THE PC.
This game is alot of fun,i never really took notice of The Sims even when my former friend was talking about it alot i just thought of other games until my mum let me get a game, and i wasn`t alowwed to get Driver 3 so i picked up The Sims PLATINUM to see why Callum loved it so much and it was a good deal for £19.99 i loved it.You start with one option at the beginning of the game which is "Get A Life" where you can pick an Adult Male/Female and customise her/his clothes, shoes and hair and al so there personality Attributes. When you start the game it is in a dream Mansion with some woman called Roxy and you have to get in a Chaccuzi with her and then you wake in your mothers house because she wants you to fix the TV,cook the night/day
dinner, breakfast or lunch and to take a loan of her and to get a job.And you complete targets and keep expanding where you live and unlock items to buy.In "Play The Sims" this is the casual part of the game where you can buld your own house and do what you want. This game is a good start of a simulations series and remember the very first game that says the Sims on was actually 1988`s Sim City 1 i think.REVIEW FINNISHED.

3-0 out of 5 stars Ok but PC better
When I bought this game, I was expecting it to be like the original pc game. I was surprised to see the game didn't let you play around like the pc but gave you missions to complete. The missions started out small and then get more demanding. The game still keeps to the traditional Sims. I was hoping more from the two-player mode. When I first got this game, I enjoyed playing it but the longer I had it the more boring it got. I thought that it just took to long on some of the missions.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good, but get the Sims for the Computer instead.
The Sims is a good game. You get to make your own people and try to run their lives so they could be happy.I suggest you get this game for your computer instead. There's so many features they left out of this game. The big one is that you can only do one level of your house instead of two levels like on the computer game.Plus, the graphics are not that good; again, better in the computer game.If you get the computer game, get The Sims Mega Deluxe Pack. That's all I have too say.

4-0 out of 5 stars This game is a good buy
This game is really fun. I got it a while ago, bu tit needed quitea bit of space on my memory card. So be prepared with a new one or to delete other games. Also beware it is a blue bottom disk. And will get ruined easily on your ps2. So, if you are absolutely positive ur ps2 dos not kill these disks. Id BUY, BUy, BUY!

4-0 out of 5 stars Good game even for adults
Well, I had the PC version and lost my code and so couldn't play it again. I decided to give the PS2 version I try, and was surprised. First of all, there's so many ways to bring your Sim to life through clothing, personality, and the way they look. Buy and building is about the same with a vew extra items. I spent two hours when I first played it. But I am not like some, who play it for hours, get tired, and never return. I play it here and there...and continue to enjoy the game. Movement is great but sometimes it is a pain switching back and forth from character to character. Anyhow, a very cool game, uneventful for my husband, but great for me. Or I like that you can also Play A Sim...and she/he has to do certain things to get a life.

This is a great way to teach your children how to be grown up. I think the other con about the game the Sim are a little small...you can't get close up. But it is fun.

Buy it or rent it but it is up to you and your taste that will make this game fun or not.

5-0 out of 5 stars DONT BUY RE1 GET RE2 &RE4
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST RESIDENT EVIL GAMES SINCE RESIDENT EVIL4
A LOT BETTER THAN RESIDENT EVIL UNCUT VERSION AND A NEW ROOKIE
MODE WHICH YOU CAN USE MACHINE GUNS AND ROCKET LAUNCHERS.
ITS JUST AS CREEPY AS SILENT HILL AND THERES NOT MUCH WRONG WITH IT. I GOT MINE FOR 9 BUCKS AT GAMESTOP. SO PICK IT UP
OR ELSE YOU WILL REGRET IT!

5-0 out of 5 stars favorite game ever!!!!!!!!!!!!
this game out back in 98 and it is still my favorite game ever. better than halo 1 and 2, all the silent hills , and every other game you or i could think of. now i wont lie it is not scary that is the only flaw to the game but who cares when its this much fun. some versioins have the extreme battle mode which isnt perfect but still very fun. i would give this this game a 1000 out of 5 but i cant so it gets the 5

5-0 out of 5 stars Masterpiece in horror gaming...
Without a doubt, RE2 is the greatest horror/ action game ever made. The first one was good, but took place mainly in a mansion. RE2 spans out across a city, including areas like a sewer, police station, and even a laboratory. Graphically this game is beautiful for its time and holds its own today. The cut scenes were amazing when it came out, and still look fantastic. The voiceovers are also fantastic, and are very memorable. Many of the cut scenes are done with the games normal graphics, and this looks great as well. I actually didnt play it till the N64 version game out, but it was still amazing. I remember seeing the trailer when it came out for ps1 and I was thinking how amazing the graphics and realism was. Even the little things make such big differences, such as empty shells being released from a gun after shooting it. The game B mode is revolutionary, allowing you to have up to 4 endings. And the Tyrant is the scariest video game character i have ever seen. You never know when he is going to bust down a wall and jump at you, and his theme music is amazingly scary as well. The first time you shoot him down, after you leave the room you see a cutscene of the Tyrant getting up, and his theme music starts to play, that is arguably the scariest moment I have experienced with a video game. Many consider Silent Hill to be the scariest game, but I disagree, I think RE2 is. RE2 envolks emotions you thought couldnt have happened. Having two characters is the best thing about this game, though, each having different puzzles and weapons, and meeting new characters. Overall, this is the greatest horror action game I have ever played, and you should definitely play it as well.

5-0 out of 5 stars A VERY UNDERATED GAME
These kinds of game deserves to be recognized and should never be forgotten. There isn't a person on earth that can easily turn away a game like Resident Evil 2 without having tasting it. This is what expect from a game that revolves around zombies and corporate conspiracies. From beginning to end you are hooked maybe not scared but hooked until you have completed the game. Learn your roots!!

5-0 out of 5 stars CAPCOM does it again.
This is the sequel to the highly acclaimed survival Horror game Resident Evil. You can either play as Leon S. Kennedy(Resident Evil 4) or Claire Redfeild(Chris Redfeild's sister). You must survive and kill hoards of zombies and solve challenging puzzles. This is one of the best games ever created dont rent it, buy it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars great game
this game really surprised me. i bought it used because i'm a fan of k1, mma, etc... and this has got to be one of the most original games visually, etc...i love everything about this game. all the fighters have their own actual strikes,. etc..it's very well made. i highly reccomend it.

4-0 out of 5 stars could have been better
This game is a decent fighter but if you aren't a fan of k-1 then you won't know who the fighters are. Also the game can get very hard so it is best to work your way up the ranks.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome simply awesome
yes u can see flaws in the game however They are not anythign that would make you turn the game off.. Play this game on rookie than normal and then go to the 3rd stage out of the 4 and youll get ur moneys worth trying to stop getting destoryed by everyone.. Pride FC is the Best MMA game on the market UFC is lacking but fun but K1 really gives pride a run for its money and ill be playign this for quite some time..
Fighters include
Mirko Cro Cop
Jerome Le Banner
Peter Artes
Mike Beranado

Mark Hunt
Fransico Filho
Alexy Ignasov
and Mushsai theres much more but toname a few
def worth the reg price.. much mroe worth it for the 8 dollars someones selling it for BUY IT NOW

4-0 out of 5 stars Great party game, but some tiny flaws
This game is pretty fun but has some faults in it that are not huge but noticeable. the characters are all good in their own way, although there are some that just cant win unless you are playing against a three year old. there are a lot of moves and alot of things to learn but they are not hard and just take a little practice. the season modes (two different ones) are way too short. the mode where you get to win scenes from classic fights is fun and the robok-1s you get as you play more are also very fun. this is a great party game and with a little practice, you can have some very good matches. i would definitely recomend it over pride fc and the previous ufc games ( until sudden impact arrives and blows it all away).

3-0 out of 5 stars Coulda Been a Contender!
I was looking forward to this game. But in a lot of ways it let me down.First off is that its to easy. You can beat this game easily if you strike low, high, low, high repeatedly. Also the graphics are medicore at best. Its fun for a couple days after that its just not desirable anymore. Some of the redeeming qualites is that there is a ton of unlockable stuff.Fighter clips, etc.Which was cool but I would rather have spent my $40.00 on a couple K-1 shows and actually watched the Fights!Stick with Pride FC which is a better game.Even though Pride FC needs a one player career.Or buy Virtua Fighter 4 evolution. Both of these are better than K-1. ...
