5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME!!!!
hey i had almost every need for speed game, and i decided 2 get a new 1, cause i wanted 2 see wat it was lyk. i started playin, and i was just blown away at the grafics and how detailed it was. if u dont got this game, i insist u GET IT NOW.

4-0 out of 5 stars You Won't Finad a Better Racing Game...
I have gotten NFS Underground almost a year ago, and it is still awesome. The main idea of the game is to simply, well... Race! You can choose from four race options: circuit, drag, drift, and sprint. Each have different rules, such as who can reach the highest miximum speed, who can bang against the border least often, and so on. Circuit is the simple race. No special rules.

Pros.
1. Lots of different cars to choose from
2. Hundreds of different ways you can customize your car. Every time you win a race, you gain money. You lose money if you lose a race. The better the part you want to install is, the more expensive it is. Different motors, bumpers, stickers, and yes, you can change the color of the car. I heard many people say you cannot. They are wrong.
3. The music is awesome. And the songs are not just something to keep you entertained while you play. Those songs are for real. Believe it or not, but I sametimes turn off the SFX and put the music on maximum and play with nothing but the music
4. The races are not that easy. It takes a long time to finally beat a challenge. This will keep you entertained for a long, long time
5. The controls are really easy to learn

Cons.
1. The graphics, I'm sad to say, are not the best. These are probably the main reason I brought the rating down from a five to a four.
2. All the good parts, as well as other car colors other than silver, are locked until you get farther in the game
3. Sometimes being challanged by others can get really annoying. That is, whenever you click on the option to race, you get to pick the player you want to race against. Once in a while you get challanged, and you cannot do anything but go ahead and race. You can't refuse!

Overall, a great game. GET IT!

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty good
Street racing is very different from and, in many ways, more exciting than traditional automobile racing. Competitions take place out on the regular streets and freeways of the city, as opposed to the relatively safe confines of a closed professional course. Instead of cups and medals, prize winnings are paid out in cash, which many participants use to trick out their cars with fancy paint jobs and slick body kits--even when performance upgrades, such as turbo kits and exhaust systems, make the most sense. In street racing, your car's appearance is just as important as winning the race. Need for Speed Underground brings this fast and furious world of street racing on to the Game Boy Advance with mostly positive results. Apart from the graphics, everything from the console versions of the game has made it on to the GBA cartridge. Watch out for the cross traffic at intersections. Need for Speed Underground has all of the necessary options and modes that a handheld racing game ought to have. Competitions include circuit (multiple laps), sprint (half laps), drag, and drift events. Each event has roughly 10 different tracks devoted to it, and you have the option of bringing a friend in for two-player matches using the link cable. While it's nice to be able to race against another live human being and show off your rides to each another, the heart of the game is its single-player underground mode. In the underground mode, you join up with a clique of street racers and participate night after night in various events with the sole purpose of rising up the ranks and funneling cash into your vehicle. The number of available cars, parts, and upgrades is phenomenal. While there are only 20 different basic car bodies to choose from, you can create thousands of unique-looking vehicles with the many hundreds of body parts and paint schemes at your disposal. There aren't many GBA games out there that let you swap out the bumpers, hood, tires, side skirt, and tinting on your car, in addition to the usual set of engine, turbo, brake, and suspension upgrades. Popular manufacturers, such as Ford, Subaru, Nissan, Mazda, and Volkswagen, are represented, as are more than two-dozen parts vendors, including Dazz Motorsport, Enkei, MOMO, and Neuspeed.
When you get out to the street, NFS: Underground sheds its simulator-style trappings and turns into the sort of easygoing driving game that anyone from beginners to experts can jump right into. The A and B buttons control acceleration and braking, and if you select a manual transmission, the L and R buttons allow you to downshift and upshift. A few races into the underground mode, you can purchase a nitro boost upgrade, which you can activate by tapping up on the directional pad. Each course has a good variety of straights, soft curves, sharp turns, and dips. The physics engine has a realistic degree of skid, which is great if you're the kind of player who likes to slide around corners, but it doesn't overdo it to the point that you'll have to worry about spinouts or rollovers. Likewise, you're not really penalized all that much for smacking into walls or colliding with cross traffic. If you smash into a bus at 100mph, you'll lose speed and skid for a bit, but it doesn't take long to regain control and get back in to the race. Each car comes with its own set of speed, acceleration, and handling characteristics, which you'll feel during the race as steering response and skid tendency. Surprisingly, the game's 3D graphics are both its best feature and its worst problem. The developers really pushed the GBA to the limit using this sort of texture-mapped polygon engine. It's wonderful that you can actually make out details, like window frames, fences, and highway signs, along the road, but the resolutions are so blocky that it's sometimes difficult to figure out which way the pavement is going to turn. It helps to play through the courses and learn where the turns are, although that's the kind of thing that you want to do to learn the layout of a course, not just so you'll remember to take a hard right after the brown splotch up ahead. Thankfully, this pixelation issue doesn't have a bearing on how any of the vehicles look. While you may not be able to distinguish a guardrail from an on-ramp, at times, every car looks shiny and crisp when viewed from all distances and at various angles. This means you'll have plenty of opportunities during the race to admire the custom window tinting and vinyl decorations you applied to your car the night before. Trick out your car with performance parts, body parts, paint jobs, and vinyl decorations. Despite its problematic graphics, Need for Speed Underground is still a joy to play. The courses have a good mixture of powerslide and speed run sections, and CPU drivers tend to keep the races close without resorting to typical cheats, like passing through commuter vehicles or teleporting in right behind you. If you're a wannabe car buff, it's easy to spend hours just upgrading and tinkering with your car in order to develop a custom ride that suits your personality. The last thing that bears mentioning--and this is only a significant note for some of you--is the fact that the music EA chose to put in the game won't appeal to everyone. During the menus and during each race, you'll hear a random pick from any of four different song loops, including "Get Low" by Lil Jon, "Sucked In" by Jerk, "Doomsday" by Overseer, and "The Only" by Static-X. Luckily, if you don't like the selection of music, you can shut it off in the options menu. In fact, the in-game engine and tire sound effects are superb and can suffice all on their own. Warts and all, Need for Speed Underground is a good racing game--not because it's pretty, but because it's actually engaging and fun to play.

5-0 out of 5 stars Just Extremely good!!!
Hi everyone, I just bought this need for speed because i knew that almost of the "need for speed" games were good. But this one.... incredible!! All the things with did not find in others nfs are here. Just goog! built up your dream car guys! (girl too hehe)

5-0 out of 5 stars This game rocks!
I love this game, however it is my first game with the GBA, I bought it along with ATV Racing and ESPN Golf 2002.
You can race and aquire more money to upgrade your cars and/or purchase new cars. The only downside, all your cars are silver, no paint variations that I have found, only static decals that can be applied after winning so many races.
This game is a must have for race fans! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars WHAT THE F*** ?
Did a blind man design the camera system? You can't see who is attacking you! You're getting your butt handed to you becuase you are encircled by a gang and are helpless to do anything about it? W T F????
This game COULD have been awesome, THANK GOD they got it right with spiderman 2. It's a shame because the graphics are good, but the controls are AWFUL. Avoid this like the plauge, spend the extra bucks and get the second spierman movie game....it's a world apart becuase that game is actaully good while THIS ONE SUCKS

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game
I loved this game.I have played levels over and over again. It is really fun.I don't think it's all that hard.Okay so the big machine in Oscorp and hiding from the Oscorp is a little challeging, but overall it is fairly easy.I recomend this game to people who love to go across the city via web and to anyone who liked the movie.

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice, but....
Visually attractive, the storyline is loyal to the movie plus some adds to it like the scorpion chracter. Cool combo moves and nice backgrounds. Ok, here's the dilemma, when Spiderman is searching for the bad guys, where the hell is the web hanging from? a cloud? a helicopter that follows Spiderman wherever he goes? I know it's just a little detail but it is very notable. Besides that, the game itself is good but it gets from very easy to very hard from one level to the next. Buy it if you liked the movie, rent it if you want to distract yourself a while.

1-0 out of 5 stars NOT WHAT I HAD HOPED FOR
I thought that I was in heaven during the first eight levels of this game.It was fun and challenging, but I got through them with a smile. But pretty soon it seemed the levels were getting impossible.I tried over and over again to beat some of the levels and i finally realized that it wasnt gonna happen. So i gave up.This game is great for anyone really looking for a challenge.I love a challenge... but this game just seemed like an impossibility.Definitely not a game for the younger crowd.

3-0 out of 5 stars Too hard but its an ok game.
Well this game is ok, but there are several cons. You see I got this game and started playing for hours, but it kind of gotboring and hard, so I got tired of it and quit playing. I reccomend you to get this if you like hard challenging games, because this one is. But I dont like challenging games so im planning to sell it. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

Spider-Man: The Movie brings your friendly neighborhood web slinger to life with engrossing realism, proving that a superhero game of such complex nature can be achieved with nearly flawless and nonintrusive gameplay. Be it wandering the city's environs in search of villains, or just checking out your surroundings by web-swinging high above them, you truly can do whatever Spider-Man can. It's all here: high-flying aerial battles, the ability to web up and yank your enemies close for pummeling, and the capacity for crawling or web-zipping up, down, and over any surface--and that's just for starters. All in all, this is one involved game that does not fail to live up to the hype.

The game parallels the motion picture's story line, steering you through a progression of challenges that begins with the hunt for Uncle Ben's murderer, and ends with a final showdown with the Green Goblin. You begin as Peter Parker dressed in his wrestling costume and must defeat a variety of thugs throughout each level before advancing to the next set of challenges. The game gets progressively tougher as you encounter, in turn, Shocker, the Vulture, Scorpion, and, of course, the Green Goblin.

Visually, Spider-Man is a treat: cityscapes unfold in realistic detail and are enhanced by sunlight shining between buildings; cutscenes offer seamless animation; interiors are painstakingly re-created; and Spider-Man and his enemies are well rendered, moving about the screen in clean fashion. As an added bonus, most characters are voiced by their movie counterparts, and the training mode features the sarcastic wit of Evil Dead star Bruce Campbell. --Larry White

Pros:

  • Detailed controls bring Spider-Man to life
  • Challenging gameplay enhanced by numerous fight styles
  • Stunning visuals at every level
Cons:
  • Camera angles slow to respond at times
  • Some interiors too dark
  • Repetitive one-liners

2-0 out of 5 stars Pathetic
This game isn't nearly worth what I payed for it. The camera for the game is backwords and you can't fix it, and it has other camera glitches that get very irritating. I decided to get a cheat so I could play the last level instead of wasting my time, but five minutes looking for the cheat wasn't worth playing the last level. I beat spider-man 1 for the playstation 1 at least 7 times and I would recommend it instead of spider-man the movie if you have a playstation 1. (...)

2-0 out of 5 stars im sorry this games pathetic
its waaaaaaay to simple it takes 5 minute a mission thats 5 times 22 it equals 110 minutes of gameplay that not even two hours.even oon hard mode its simple.Im sorry i just dont understand why it got peoples choice but i hate it. but the graphics are all right and the fighting is all right thats why it got 2 stars. But its just way to simple even on hard mode.

5-0 out of 5 stars FUN FUN FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the most fun game in the world! You can throw tires at the bad guys!Fighting Vulture is the best!FUN FUN FUN!!(...)

4-0 out of 5 stars Does whatever a spider can....almost
A key part of the marketting machine for summer blockbusters is a tie-in game. Usually these are horrible efforts, lacking originality, taking major liberties and expecting the license to sell the resulting mess. Amongst a sea of these, Spider-Man is a tie-in game done right.
The story of the game is similar to the film but also takes cues from the comics as well as some ideas from the game creators. You start off on the trail of Uncle Ben's killer, swinging from roof top to roof top to try and get information from local thugs (the implausibility of them all being on the rooftops as they are is nicely spoofed in the dialogue of a side quest). This leads you to a warehouse where you discover your Uncle's killer is a gang leader. You have to battle through the rest of his goons to ultimately get a showdown with him. Afterwards the game has you facing off against well known Spidey villains as well as OsCorp, who are after Spidey to study his blood for their human enhancement serum. After getting familair with all your skills and staying one step ahead of OsCorp's efforts, your greatest enemy enters onto the stage- the sinister Green Goblin.

The range of combat available is impressive. The game takes Spidey's webbing and agility into account to create some interesting attacks. Web enemies up, swing them around and even go for a piggy back ride. Your attacks can be upgraded by collecting golden spider icons hidden throughout the levels. The more attacks you unlock, the more fun you can have combining them into cool combos to take out enemies. The levels are large enough to encourage exploration and experimentation. That's not to say that there isn't problems- in the outside levels, trying to go down to the sidewalk will cost you a life. You're stuck just swinging from building to building and fighting airborne enemies. Thankfully this has been corrected for the sequel.
Completing a level requires you to fill mission objectives. For example, you may be required to help the police fight thugs, rescue civillains in peril or keep up with a fleeing villain. If you know where you're going you should have no trouble completing the neccesary tasks.

The game has some star voice talent in the form of Toby Maguire, Willem Dafoe and Bruce Campbell. Maguire's work as Spidey is a mixed bag- sometimes he nails his lines and other times he sounds like he wants to be elsewhere. Spidey will throw out random quips as you play, which your enemies will reply. Call them ugly and they'll tell you where to shove it. Sadly, the game seems to favour the same one liners over and over which can get annoying. Dafoe plays Norman/the Goblin as well as he did in the film. He really seems to be enjoying himself and makes Goblin the menacing villain he needs to be. Campbell brings his well known humour to the game. He's the narrator for the training levels and the in game tips you'll encounter early on. He brings a spirit of fun to the proceedings, coming out with some of the best lines of the game. Didn't take the training levels before you started playing the game? Campbell will put you in your place.

A fun part to the game is the cheats and unlockables. A well thought out bowling mini-game, animation tests and the ability to play the game as the Goblin are waiting for players who rack up enough points. The Goblin is well worth unlocking. Although the levels are the same as Spidey's, the Goblin (Norman's son Harry looking for answers) has different powers including super speed, pumpkin bombers and the Goblin glider.

In all, a great game and a display of how tie ins should be done. The sequel may have improved on most areas, but the original is still worth picking up.

1-0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY!!
This game is not worth buying. If you want a good Spider mangame pay the extra money and buy spider man 2. You will be glad you did. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Probably the best conflict game
This game is long and I did not complete it in 3 days like most games. I have played Conflict vietnam and it's the same game again but with a few things added and it's set in jungle. This game is hard at first then you get the hang of it, I played the demo and I was so addicted when crawling through the bushes to be not seen by a tank.
I remember on the demo level(Where in the cut scene Foley tried blowing up the bridge with c4 and got caught...)when I did not know how to control your friend so when I rescued Foley I kept switching to his character and did not know to order him to follow me, so my point is it seems complicating at first with the open maps that seemed big...
Conflict Desert Storm 2 is a very short game and you'll be surprised if you played it when the credits start.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not Good For Gameboy Advance
This game is a dissapointment. Due to the gameboy's small screen and lack of buttons this game is extremely frustrating...not to mention the game's insane difficulty. Fortunately on Gamecube/PS2/XBox this game is much better.

4-0 out of 5 stars It is a GOOD GAME but IT IS NOT PERFECT!!!!!!!!
The "create your own skater" thing is cool, but, sometimes you lose your guy behind walls. My only complaint was that you could not move the camera.I recomend it with 4 STARS!! :-( :-)

4-0 out of 5 stars GETS BOREING AFTER PLAYING 4 A FEW WEEKS

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 is a must. You should get it because its challenging and fun at the same time!

4-0 out of 5 stars smooth gameboy action
Sure, Tony Hawk 4 plays better on the PS2.But for a portable system, this is probably as good as it gets.Sometimes, due to the 2d/3d viewpoint, it is tough to pinpoint a landing or how to get onto an obstacle. That is really my only gripe, b/c you can 100% throw down with Hawk 4 due to the trick engine. The levels are pretty big and each of 'em have lots of stuff to skate.Get this game. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Better then UFC 1 but still lacks
This games cool. My friends cousin is in the game. (Pete William) The graphics are pretty good. The modes are better then the first one. But my compaint is the same as the first one. Matches end way to quickly. I want more of a stragetic sim game engine involved. Why don't ground battles last 10 minutes or longer? It still feels like a button masher game. The moves are hard to pull off. The create a character mode is way too shallow. The games cool for a while but lacks replay value unless your fighting another live person..

5-0 out of 5 stars Realistic Fighting
This is my favorite fighting game I have played. It combines striking with wrestling, letting you beat an opponent if you are skilled enough, even when you are about to get knocked out. Every fighter has his own patented moves and style, adding to the diversity of the game. My friends and I never get tired of the bone crunching hits and submissions. Unlocking new moves and fighters keeps things interesting while playing solo. If you want the most realistic way of beating people - without actually doing it, get UFC throwdown.

4-0 out of 5 stars UFC Throwdown
Great game for UFC fan's. I love UFC, so I loved the game. But where are the legends of MMA, where's Ken Shamrock,R Gracie, Tank Abbott, etc.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game for UFC fans
This is a fantastic game for UFC and MMA fans in general. You can do your own version of some of the great UFC battles of all time, like the incredible Frank Shamrock vs. Tito Ortiz fight or Jens Pulver vs. BJ Penn, or have some fantasy matchups you wish you could have seen, like Vitor Belfort vs Ortiz or Shamrock.

My only complaint is that knockouts can come a little fast if you are playing the computer, or if two beginners are playing. If two skilled and practiced players are going against each other, the attacks and counters can truly become almost a sort of chess match.Against the computer or someone new to the game, you can score a knockout in 10 to 20 seconds, against other skilled players, I've had fights actually go to decision.

Another great item is some of the signature moves the fighters have that you can aquire after a while.

For beginners who just get this game and want to develop a feel for it, I recommend selecting either Frank Shamrock or Tito Ortiz. They are the best in the game, and in my opinion the best in real life, and the easiest to learn with, particularly if you are trying to figure out how to put together combinations.

After reading most of the complaints on here, it seems like it mostly comes from video game fanboys who have no appreciation for reality fighting and the UFC.They seem upset that it isn't a clone of every other fighting game out there.Big deal!I can get the standard fighting game by selecting something else.I wanted this because it's realistic. You won't find your characters jumping ten feet into the air and launching balls of energy at their opponents. If you want that, go get the new Mortal Kombat or something.

3-0 out of 5 stars You decide
UFC Throwdown is a decent game. Not really much more to say than that. You either like it or hate it. Graphically, it's pretty basic and sometimes during truly intense match-ups, choppy. Realism is very good. Length of the average match, about 20 seconds. Again, you should rent this if anything else first because I'm sorry but no one deserves a ($) hole in their wallet. Have fun and Happy Gaming! ... Read more

Do you want to party like it’s 1979? Well pull up a seat grasshopper, and get ready for Kung Fu Chaos, a silly but fun party game that's basically a kung fu movie simulator. You pick one of eight fighters to "act" in various fighting scenes interspersed with party games--think Powerstone meets Fusion Frenzy. After a scene is finished, you can replay the level as a 1970’s kung fu movie, complete with commentary from fictional movie director Shao Ting.

Kung Fu Chaos has solid single and multiplayer play. In single player mode, you can play the Ninja challenge, which pits you against a clan of mysterious evil Ninjas. If you unlock enough areas in the Ninja Challenge, you can choose a character and jump into the single player Miniseries challenge, which has unique tasks for each character. If you opt for multiplayer, you’ve got the 12 level Championship game, where up to four human players can duke it out. There are also Battle Game, Freestyle, and Rehearsal modes, which can be played in either single or multiplayer.

The graphics and music are decent, not extraordinary. The game has a fun deformed-cartoon style, and the music includes both the theme from Enter the Dragon andKung Fu Fighting. The voice acting is good too, especially during cut scenes and when characters taunt each other. The frame right stays smooth no matter how many characters are on the screen, which is good, but sometimes there is so much fast action on the screen (especially during multiplayer play), that you can easily lose track of your character.

Those who approach this game as a pure fighting game will be disappointed. The moves are fairly simple, and all of the players only have one special attack. It's meant to be played with pals: get a few friends together and it becomes a terrific kung-fu romp. Fight in Chinese restaurants, ancient temples, and spooky graveyards. Duke it out on a raft in the rapids while a T-Rex is chasing you. Save a princess, and just for laughs, hurl said princess at your enemies. Beat up ninjas in one scene, and throw life rafts to them in another. Power-up by successfully taunting your foes, and hear the baying donkey when you fail. This game is made for a party, and it's undeniably fun.--Bryan Karsh

Pros:

  • Cheesy kung-fu movie style, complete with taunts
  • Strong multiplayer and single player games
  • Funny as a poorly written fortune cookie
Cons:
  • Simple moves will disappoint fans of fighting games.

5-0 out of 5 stars This Game Never Should Have Sold
I am serious. This game never should have sold. Not because its a bad game; far from it, this game is just about the ultimate ideal in video gaming history. Create your own martial arts flick while playing a video game. Nay good sir, the reason this game should never have sold is because it seems as if it was created specifically for me.

I mean, this is the game that I have been waiting my whole life for. A game where I am more than just a ninja on the screen, I'm an actor/ninja movie star! Okay, that sounds really stupid. And yet its true. And this is more than a ninja game alone. Want to be an aging but still lethal martial arts master? Done. Want to play as a "Lone Wolf and Cub" inspired samurai, also done. Want to play as a deity from Chinese myth, fairy tale and feature film? Equally done. Should you desire to be a gaseous Mexican wrestler, well, that comes later in the game. I was, of course, Ninja Fu Hiya, star of such films as "Did Somebody Order a Ninja," and "Ninja Cry Too."

The point of this game is to create a martial arts masterpiece called, Kung Fu Chaos: Face Full of Fists. You first play through the long movie production in order to unlock characters and sets and such, then you can use these to create your own kung fu films. The problems on set range from members of a clan of bloodthirsty ninjas trying to kill you, to difficulties trying to extend your bathroom/coffee breaks. This is, oddly enough, classified as a "party game."

I say that this game is almost catered to my interests and mine alone (which I know isn't true, but poetic license and all that allows me to continue) because there are many things which will ultimately turn many others off. The controls are overly simple. I found this somewhat refreshing from all the complicated combos out there, but that's me.

Also, the director of the movie you're starring in, a little fat man named Shao Ting, is constantly assaulting you with a barrage of insults. Some people, amazingly enough, find being insulting, um, insulting.

But these aside, this is just about as neat as it gets. I do wish you had a little more control over how your finished movie products look, but this game can be the first step in a new kind of ninja movie making. This is best summed up in the immortal words of Ninja Fu Hiya: "No! Ninja taste bad!"

5-0 out of 5 stars Buy This Game!!!
Kung Fu Chaos is a fantastic game and if I would've known how good it was in the beginning, it would've been my first game. I was like wow when I started playing the game when I bought. The best part about this game is that out of your kung fu fights against other people, it makes a movie out of it or it's called final cuts. If you haven't bought this game yet and you want a fighting game, this is my #1 recommendation. It's funny and entertaning.

1-0 out of 5 stars Rubbish all the WAY
Kung-Fu Chaos has you fighting in arenas where you can ring out, or use objects like tables, chairs and even people to toss at your opponent. Up to four people can play simultaneously or you can play by yourself one-on-one. You can also team up with BOTS to fight against the cpu. The game has very cartoonish looking graphics, the sound effects and dialog are corny like an old Kung-Fu movie. In fact, you are playing inside a kung-fu movie. You'll hear the director telling you what to do and making snide remarks when you make a mistake. The whole game is silly and feels very childish. Not my cup of tea! I'm shocked that it got lots of good reviews here.

Pros:
+funny
+instant replay
+up to four players
+play with BOTS
+okay for kids

Cons:
-unresponsive controls
-cheap sound effects
-thinks it's funny
-BOTS are stupid
-nobody ever dies
-limited attack moves
-gets old fast
-stupid music
-retarded and pointless gameplay
-small fighting space

I feel sorry for the people that bought this game
for themselves and lost money. I was smart enough
to just rent it.

5-0 out of 5 stars The greatest multiplayer game on the xbox
This game was one of the many reasons I chose to purchase an xbox. My friend thought it was the best game he had ever played when he only played it 5 minutes! The following information will give you an idea how awesome this game is. Gameplay: The gameplay is fast paced and you are always on the move.Moving from place to place in each movie scene is very interesting and exciting.I enjoy all the scenes and my favorite is fry hard.Graphics:The graphics are very detailed and everything looks realistic! The lucious environments are eye candy and the characters look better than ever. The water is best looking thing in the game I think.Multiplayer:This is the funnest part of the game.It is a four player game that is very well thawed out.It is more challenging than the IA and way more exciting knowing your beating up somebody sitting next to you.You will laugh at the hilarious things that may happen during every scene. This is worth all the 3 extra controllers.Concept:The concept in the single player mode is to defeat the evil ninja clan in each movie scene trying to obtain five stars in each.It will add hours of gameplay for all the unlockables you get.Overall:This game is worth every penny because of its great multiplayer action and probably the best on the xbox right now.Everything about the game is great and there are no flaws. If you like kung fu and love multiplayer games you will not go wrong at all.In fact you might tell your friends to get an xbox because of this game.Even if your not a multiplayer fan and don't like kung fu give it a try and this game will change your mind.Thank you for reading my review and hope you love kung fu chaos as much as I do!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great kung fu action a total must have party game!
I was thinking about getting an x-box because my friend said that this game was the best he has ever played just for playing 5 minutes! That told me more than enough. So I went on this site to see if there were more x-box games I would want.I found plenty others and so I started to save up for one. When I finally got the money I bought X-box, but I couldn't afford a game. But I had gotten a lot of money from my grandma.I was so happy because I could finally get kung fu chaos and other games. The first time I played this it was so fun I couldn't put the controller down.It was the best moment of my videogame history. The graphics are great especially the water. The action is fast paced, fun, funny and furious. Can you say unlock? There is so much to unlock in this game it will add many hours to gameplay. The multiplayer will add more fun than before and is the best part of the game!If you like multiplayer games and many hours of gameplay this is a DEFINITE BUY! ... 4-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME GAME
First of all, this game is bassically a good game for gamers that like action. Just to let you know this game requires some skill so be prepared. This game only has a few stages, but a lot of gotcha borgs(the little robot things). I recomend this game for those who play action games such as supersmashbros.melee.

4-0 out of 5 stars BEST GAME EVER PLEASE BUY, U WILL BE HAPPY!!!!
this game is AWESOME. i got it 1 week ago and already beat but im playin it again AND IM NOT BORED OF IT, DONT LISTEN TO OTHER PEOPLE THIS GAME IS THE BEST.dont be fooled by its name, it is NOT ment for 6 year olds, im 14 and i love this game. ME AND MY FRIEND PLAYED IT ALL DAY.the graphics are AMAZING. there are only 2 scenes(when u begin and when you beat the game) BUT THE ART IS AMAZING, IT LOOKS LIKE A TV SHOW. there are over 200 bots, this game NEVER gets boring. BUY TODAY U WILL NOT REGRET IT (buy at ebgames its 40 bucks, toysrus has it sold out, sux right?)

5-0 out of 5 stars I've gotcha with some force!!!
This game is just great! I mean, there are many units to collect, trade and train. As battles progress, your "Borgs" or battling robots gain valuable HP, defense, attack, and beam attack. The only way to get borgs are to get "Battle Points" which are also used as EXP. If you have at least 10,000 BP (Battle Points) then you MAY get a gotcha borg or a "Data Crystal" which is a building block for a powerful Gotcha Borg, however, these are even MORE RARE then a gotcha borg. But, if your persistant, then you'll get a DC (Data Crystal), however, you need 2-4 different DC's, for example, a blue "Flame Dragon" (there are 2 Flame Dragons, one blue and one green) would need Data Crystals 164A & 164B, after you collect them, you see the data crystals merge into one Gotcha Borg. However, some GB's need 4, like Sasuke need DC's 004A, 004B, 004C, 004D! But in the end this game is worth it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Gotcha Force is Greeeeeeeeeeat!
Gotcha Force has nothing too exciting or new, but it very fun and has a great replay value. With the help of the Gotcha Borgs, you have to save your town from the Death Force.Throughout the game you collect over 200 different kinds of Gotcha Borgs to create your team from. The gameplay is easy to learn and fun, especially the multiplayer modes.I highly recomend this game for anyone of any ages.

4-0 out of 5 stars This game is COOL!!
This is the best game of the year.you can build up to one hundred robots to play with. But it get boaring after a while. So think about it carfully before you buy it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun for Hours
I am 11 and I first played this game at a friend's house, and could not stop.I heard that it was not being made anymore.I found it used and new on amazon.it arrived two days later.it is fun for everyone in my family, me, my little sister, my mom, and my dad.

3-0 out of 5 stars The Wrath of Cortex could be better
I am a big Crash fan but this game wasn't what I expected for a next-gen sequel to the other PlayStation games. The graphics are pretty bad for an Xbox or GameCube game, and the levels are just a little bigger. It doesn't compete with other games anymore because it has stayed very much the same from the others, which were made in the '90s, even if this hasnew vehicles and bosses (There is also another unlockable move, which is tip-toeing, I used it once the entire game, and I didn't even need it).Speaking of boss battles, they were frustrating, but still quite fun.So to Crash fans, you will like how this game is more challenging than the other games, but will feel as if you've experienced the game before in its predecessors. However, Traveller's Tales did good in keeping it like the other games even if that became the thing I didn't like about it.It's got a good price, but I think it's only worth a rent to beat it, unless you are a "real" Crash fan and want to get 100% completion. If you're not a Crash fan, don't even bother with it.

5-0 out of 5 stars best platformer on xbox
XBOX has a lot of great games but lots of platformers are crap on xbox. lets face it thee trys lately have been awful. blinx the timesweeper whiplash zapper all that crap. thats why crash bandicoot the wrath of cortex is the best. the graphics are stunning. better than the ps2 version. basically the goal in cb woc is to go trough hublevels to get crystals. if you already played a crash bandicoot game you know the drill. there will also be timed relic challenges. and you will have to collect every box in a level to obtain a gem. once you collect every item in the game you can open up a new superworld that will give you another stage of levels. you can tell by the level layout that the developers were really using a lot of creativity. the boss battles are a nice addition. and another way cb woc towers over your mediocre platformer is the difficulty. crash has gotten signifigantly harder. remember how hard the original crash bandicoot was. well this game is even harder than that. so the difficulty is a nice change of pace for the levels. you get new veichles in the game too. a titansuit- you get acess to this veichle in- droid void crate balls of fire and cortex vortex. you also can use a jeep. youll get acess to this veichle in- jungle rumble and smokey and the bandicoot. youll also get acess to a submarine you can use it in- h20 and coral canyon. youll also get a copter pack you can use that in-farehinheit frenzy. you also get a scooter you can use that in- tsunami avalanche. you get a crash glider you use that in- tornado alley that sinking feeling crashstroids 4th boss level. and latly you a spherical moonball which you can use in- bammboozled eskimo roll medevil madness. also cb woc has shorter load times alot shorter load times than the ps2 version. overall with so many horrible platform games on the market. you should buy or at least rent this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars wow
are you ready for crash bandicoots best adventure yet. if you answered yes you have to buy this game. it has wonderful eyedazziling graphics huge gameplay advancements and increased difficulty level. there are 30 much larger and much harder to explore worlds plenty of scenery and some of the best boss rounds in a game. crash gets to his disposal 8 new veichles. a spherical rollerball a submarine a firefly plane a jet glider a copter pack a sleek moter scooter and an enormus titan mech suit. all of these veichles are awesome theyre generally used to get out of a level. theres tons of secrets to be unlocked an a new hub world addition. you canget to it after collecting everything in all the levels. crash looks sounds and plays better than ever. if you ask me this is the best platform game on xbox. just think of what is a better mascot blinx the timesweeper or crash bandicoot. crash bandicoots sold millions of copies on psone and now hes proving himself on xbox. forget all the other lame platformers and get crash bandicoot the wrath of cortex.

5-0 out of 5 stars if you have an xbox and like platformers its a no brainer
this is a fun game. it has wonderful graphics hard bosses lots of crystal clear envirorements lots of veichles to drive. and captures the oozing sense of crash bandicoot. if you have an xbox and like platformers crash bandicoot woc is a no brainer. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Not bad for PS1
For what it is, a PS1 game it's about as good as it gets on the ageing system. Player models are blocky but the game play is fluid and smooth.

The batting / Pitching interface is incredible. Very pinpoit.

Only gripe I had was pitching. It is really easy to strike batters out ( I mean ridiculously easy ) and starters can go 12 inning before they start to lose something off their pitches.

Other than that, if you keep in mind this is a playstation one game, it should deliver the baseball fix you need if you're still using your original playstation with the LCD screen like I am.

1-0 out of 5 stars >:(
Rosters aren't that great, and it is impossible to hit homeruns with guys that normally hit around 10-15 in real life. It's completely bogus, go for mvp baseball.Barry Bonds is also not in mine, and A-rod is still a Ranger.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Reason
That Barry Bonds is not in is because he is no longer liscensing his likeness through MLBPA.Sort of like Michael Jordan did and Lavar Arrington of the redskins is doing.

4-0 out of 5 stars barry
Barry is not in my game either. However, A-Rod is a yankee.

1-0 out of 5 stars Carrying Crap More Like It!!
When first setting eyes on this case I was happier then a gay school boy until realizing its worthelss. Without any thoughts I bought it thinking it would be ideal for trips and long gaming ours on the road...Instead I ended the buy with turmoil. When I went to Chicago for a trip to a gaming convention I brought my Playstation 2 in the case. "Yes I can use it" I thought when unpackaging it. When I lifted the handle it instantly broke like some cheap chinese plastic. I was pissed but I still had hope. Thinking that the broken handle might have been a defect in my product I simply took the bag along. When pulling it out into my hotel I realized that it was lighter then it ever was. With a PS2 2 controllers and 3 games I thought It would be heavier. I then examined the bag closer...Hmmm it seems as if a hole on one of the side pockets had emerged. Thus I lost three of my favorite games. The hole was obviously due to cheap cloth issues that were used to make the bag. Again was angered but still stayed an optimist. Taking the bag to the convention to set up my deck (Kiosk-like booth) I sat the bag down and pulled on the zipper ever so slightly. What do you know its jammed. So I pulled a bit harder. Eventually it opened but was dissassembled from the other zipper string. "Oh Hell!!" I screamed and took my PS2 out of the bag and all the accessories and threw the bag in the trash. While coming home I put all my gear in a plastic back (Which ironically enough did not rip tear etc.). When coming back home I was dissapointed in my new carrying case inhope of a refund the dic*holes at Best Buy declined. So don't put yourself through this. If a plastic bag is more durable then the item that you are planning to buy, go for the plastic bag. This item is a piece of shi* and unless you want to spend $20 or $40 as I did then go for it. Just remember you could buy a new game and carry your PS2 in a plastic bag for only 10 cents.

1-0 out of 5 stars bad bad bad
i was walkng to my friends house when all of a sudden the seam on the bag just ripped and my ps2 broke it was actually beyond repair and lucky my parents are rich because they bought me a newone

5-0 out of 5 stars PS2 Carrying Case
I bought this case about 7 months ago and I fell in love with it.When traveling back and forth to Detroit, MI, this bag made carrying around my PS2 a breeze.Instead of tucking it away in my luggage where it might get damaged, I could keep it safe right next to me.I noticed that most reviewers said that they could only fit 4 games inside of the PS2 case.Well, I manage to fit about 8-10 if I pack my PS2 in the case just right. It's all a matter of packing. This case is also very padded and comes with a secure strap to clip it down to the main compartment.

Overall, this is the best carrying case I have ever bought.I definitely give this best a 5-star rating.

4-0 out of 5 stars imjust looking at revews
it sounds pritty good but the bad thing is it only holds 4 games (i have 18)and that was not a type problem

5-0 out of 5 stars Best PS2 Case
I first looked at this case at Electronics Boutique for $30 and decided not to buy it.I'm glad I did because I found it at Walmart a week later on sale for $15.

It's a little tight, but that's good because it won't slide around in there. It's supposed to hold 4 controllers, but I can only fit 2 in there because I have the network adaptor. But that's fine because I only have 2 controllers. It would be nice if it could hold a few more games (it only holds 4), but for $15, I'd still buy it.

I would recommend this case for anyone who doesn't have a lot of games. If you have a lot of games, controllers, and other accessories, you might want to consider the aluminum case. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the Best GBA Games
ZOE: The Fist of Mars is easily one of the best Game Boy games ever made. The story is intriguing as are the characters. The graphics are very good during Battle Sequences and cut scenes. For any fan of anime series with giant robots, some romantic elements and plot twists, this is one game you have to buy. Even if you're not a big fan of anime, this game is still worth your money. Outside of the battle sequences, primarily in the map, the graphics aren't very good. The landscapes are not well made. Most of the scenarios are also simple, destroy all enemies maps. There is also a hands-on element called the IAS which allows you to go inside the cockpit of your vehicle to either dodge or hit an enemy vehicle. While this can become tedious and prolongs the fight, you can turn this off along with battle animations, which brings me to the next point in this game. The battle sequences are amazing and are some of the best elements in this game. The scene shows a highly detailed animation of your vehicle performing its attack. The game runs HEAVILY on story and plot, and players who don't like to read and want to get right down onto the battlefield should NOT buy this game. To enjoy it the most, you must have PATIENCE and read through all the scenes.

4-0 out of 5 stars I think this is a very enjoyable game
addmittedly, once you can aim well it is a little easy but it is still really, really fun.get it if you don't have anything else to get. : )

4-0 out of 5 stars For Anime/Mech fans.
This game is classified as strategy, yet the game takes no strategy to win. The game is VERY easy even for people who have never played strategy games before. The enemies are very easy to beat and the missions usually consist of "Eliminate the Enemy" objectives. In addition, the IAS system (which is basically a targeting minigame) basically lets you choose whether or not you want to be hit or hit the enemy. If you use the IAS all the way through the game you can beat the game without ever getting hit once. The only problem is that the IAS becomes tedious and annoying, so you'll turn it off midway, and the game will still be a piece of cake.

So why did this game win a place in my hcollection? Because it's absolutley beautiful. The battle animations are wonderful and very pleasing to the eye. The mech designs are very cool, and you grow to care for each one, like a collector's item. The battlefields are well detailed as well. The CG pics are far and few inbetween, but put the cherry on the sundae. And to top it with sprinkles, Konami added an amazing musical score to the game, making you feel each part of the game through the music. When a hyper-insane mad-scientist is burning down a city, the music depicts the atrocity and horror through the music, making you all the more eager to stop him.

But the main draw is the story. The game is played through a mission-by-mission basis, but seems more like episodes to an amine series. The game starts out with lots of mysteries and finishes off with 2 different endings, making the game even more replayable. The dialouge inbetween missions help you relate to and get to know the characters and you actually care for what happens to them next. Not many plot-twists, but the story remains constantand well contructed till the end. Very little cheesiness here. My favorite part of the dialouge are the character portraits that come up when a each charater is talking. Each character has 3-8 pics for different emotions, and they are beautifully drawn. The story itself is very well translated and flows smoothly.

So click "Add to cart", and get yourself some headfones too, because this is a theatrical experience for any anime fan, but too easy for a strategy buff.

4-0 out of 5 stars Depends on the player
After reading all the reviews, and playing the game five or six times, I have come to a conclusion.

You must enjoy anime and /or manga as well as plot to enjoy this game.

I read about ZOE in a magazine, and it stood out. I decided to pick it up a few weeks later, and I played through the entire game in a matter of weeks.
This videogame has extroadinarily long cut scenes, followed by midlength battle sequences. If you like story, great, if you like alot of shooting, not so great.

Don't pay attention to the E status on there, this has quite a few swears, and some adult situations, though you must understand that all of it is written.

I must urge those who say this game has no replay value to try it again. I have played three times so far, and I have gotten two different endings, though I am sure there are more.

If you want a videogame from Nintendo that encompasses all the aspects of life that people like to glaze over, death,..., and sorrow, then get it. I did, and found one of the only games by Nintendo of it's kind.

As I said, it's all about what you want. It all depends on you.

5-0 out of 5 stars Greatest game for the GBA ever

3-0 out of 5 stars Another flawed game engine.......
Another solid game until you find the weakness with the game engine, if your drag bunt with any runner with speed 80 pts or higher you will reach safely 80+% of the time. Chone Figgins was hitting over .800 50 games into the season for my expansion team as a all bunting lead off man, and you can do it with runners on, bases loaded, and you can even steal home at a 50% clip too. You can ignore this if you decide never to bunt or try to steal home but once you know this its hard to enjoy the game.

5-0 out of 5 stars BEST BASEBALL GAME EVER
ASB/05 in my book is the best game ever. Have played it for hours it's just hard to put down once started. I'm in a EXPANISON/FRANCHISE season. I Made an EXPANSION team " North Dakota Fury" (even though I'm from Texas) Right now my record is 16 - 13 and I find that being real, the CPU is treating it like an EXPANISON team as it is I mean lets face it a team that is just made couldn't and shouldn't go from the worse to the best in the first season. To me that is just reality from being the real thing.
2 things do find error in this game but nothing to major (1) it does seem to freeze more then maybe other baseball games do. Out of the many hours days and months I have played this game it's froze 3 maybe 4 times (Not to majar.) In a game with TB just had got it tied 7 to 7 in the 7th and it froze ( was not a happy guy BUT I lived )(2) Wish it had the speed of the pitch when the ball is hit, have seen no baseball game with this on it but then again this is just a little thing sure we all will live without the speed of the pitch that is hit... All in all I do give this game a 5 starit's fun, it's real and it's only 15 bucks I mean go for it you WON'T be sorry at all to give 15 bucks for this GREAT game...

4-0 out of 5 stars ASB05 Rules!
This Game Rules!!! Its quite possibly the best baseball game out there. Buy this game and you'll be able 2 play a awesome season mode

4-0 out of 5 stars good
It's good. The overall rating of the game is good. Altough a very good game it's minor leagues is very disturbing, because it doesn't have the right roster. And the game does not have Barry Bonds. It is also very difficult to trade players.

4-0 out of 5 stars great!
In my opinion this is one of the best baseball games out there. The graphics are great and the special features like TWIB challanges and home-run derbys are nice. But the game quality is bad. Sometimes the frames will move really slow and cause you to mess up a play. And the thing that bothers me the most is that the game freezes a lot, even though the disk is almost brand new and has no scratches.(It only freezes when its loading back to the main menu after you have won or lost the game, hopefully won.)So if you're planning to get this game you better have a lot of patience. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A little known gem
I guess everyone's preferences are different, which accounts for a lack of high ratings for this game here.Arx Fatalis is certainly far from perfect, but it's still one of my top two or three favorite Xbox games.I got this on a whim because I remembered playing the PC demo and thinking it was interesting but nothing special.I was pleasantly surprised by the Xbox version. It has a good hand-to-hand combat system, a wide variety of weapons, equipment and items, and a lot of unusual, quirky features like the ability to make and cook food. The feature that makes this a great game, however, is the expansive, detailed, often creepy, always fascinating world the game creates and the enjoyable (if cheesy) story that motivates you to explore it.Its dated graphics and complicated menu systems may turn some people off, but I recommend at least giving it a try.

4-0 out of 5 stars scary, but fun
This game scares me to death at times... I mean, I certainly don't want to play it in the dark when I am alone; but it's definitely fun and requires some thinking... You have to pay very close attention to your surroundings to gather things that you need to solve "puzzles" or move on to the next level... The controls take a while to get used to, but once you figure them out, it's a great game.:o)

3-0 out of 5 stars Aside from a good story, the game is still lacking
In the land of Arx the sun has disappeared, leaving the earth a wintery wasteland. The entire human race (as well as goblins, dragons and ratmen) inhabit elaborate tunnels and caves. But evil is a brewin'. So it is up to our loin clothed hero to regain his memory and kick some evil ass. This, however, takes awhile. Just when I thought I had finished one section, I had to do something else. I have high standards for Xbox graphics, but Arx looks like a SNES release. Another strike against Arx is the massive inventory list. A lot of the game revolves around searching the ground for more inventory items. I actually got motion sickness from searching for gemstones in the troll cave. But not all of Arx is terrible. Finding food is definitely a highlight. Kill a rat and take its ribs. But the smart guys at Arkane won't let the hero immediately eat the animals. Oh no, you have to find a fire and cook those suckers. You can even find flour and make bread. Our hero is quite the homemaker. Aside from a good story, the game is still lacking. Don't count Arkane out though. This is a promising glimpse into what they are capable of.

4-0 out of 5 stars Doesn't quite make the grade
I like a good story, a good premise. This is Arx Fatalis' stronger point (society gone underground after the death of the sun / goblins, trolls, men and such sharing the limited space and resources of the underworld).I must however admit that I have been spoiled by contemporary graphics. This is Arx Fatalis' weak point; the graphics are drab, choppy, and far from creating the illusion of 3-dimensional.They are simply outdated.

Voice acting is interesting (even funny at times) and the ability to mix items together creatively is nice (you can bake bread; this is inexplicably satisfying) but the automap is very poor (I spent much too much time lost with no way of getting found except running over the same ground repeatedly with almost no regenerating opponents to challenge me, for, well, I don't know how many hours).

Not to sound shallow but graphics are important when you are trying to submerge yourself into an environment. If I wanted ONLY a good story I'd read a book.If they took their story, their creative ideas, and attached them to updated graphics and sound, they would have had an outstanding game.

4-0 out of 5 stars If you like Ultima Underworld this is your game!!!
The kingdoms of the earth have moved underground as the Sun has been destroyed. The entire game plays out as one huge dungeon with beautiful interconnecting levels. The game is first-person like Morrowind but much different. This game was obviously inspired by Ultima Underworld 1&2.

The magic system is killer. You collect runes and have a spellbook. You look in the spell-book which shows you street-fighter style combos to perform with your d-pad to cast your spells. This makes the game like a pen&paper rpg and adds tons of strategy.

Music is very dark & ambient and the game heavily relies on sound-effects. The first time you run into a Lich-Lord you will be scared to death.

Storyline is very dark. There are no dialouge options.

Graphics are very good...just not good by xbox standards. A little sub par compared to Morrowind.

This is an excellent first game developed by French Arkane Studios. The sequal is rumored to be using the Half-Life 2 engine.

The major flaws with this game would be the cumbersome inventory system(think Diablo instead of encumbrance). And you HAVE to have a FAQ to figure this game out. www.rpgdot.com has a really good one. Also NPC audio has lots of echo.

But you really should see the item-creation system. You can make pies, roast-chicken, potions, swords, a fishing pole.

All in all expect about 30 - 40 hours of game play with a FAQ. Without a FAQ you will NEVER complete this game!!! ... Read more
