3-0 out of 5 stars wresltemania 2000
i got this the day it came out while i love the variety of wrestlers the road to wrestlemania in this game was boring and had no storyline to it whatsoever it was just random matches for the most part and took away from the fun of it for me.

4-0 out of 5 stars HHmmm....
the discription with that "Steroid powered" is like the game, I love no mercy but well Hmm.....at least this one has the best back stage I've seen. And there's no better comercial.

3-0 out of 5 stars Get No Mercy Instead
When THQ lost the rights to WCW and gained the WWF this game was a must have for me. I loved this game for ages, more then REVENGE, but as great as it was for a while, I must say I advise you get the step up version "WWF NO MERCY" it was the new and improved version and left this one for dead.

5-0 out of 5 stars the easiest wrestling game on earth!
the controls are very very easy to pick up.you can, with very little real effort do spectacular feats of dexterity and skill.you can also make your own wrestlers.no i dont mean some wanker with someone elses moves.i mean you make him and you program like 180 different moves into him!theres like over 10 types of suicide dives alone!it rules!if you dont like the guys you get,you can go in and change them also.you cant change the moves, just the appearence.youll be on medium level in no time!

Amazon.com Review

Although the Pokémon aspect of Pokémon PuzzleLeague is purely thematic--which might disappoint lovers of Pikachu, whilestill warding off nonfans--the fun and challenging gameplay here makes thistitle one of the best in the puzzle genre.

Gameplay in Pokémon Puzzle League is a variation on the puzzleclassic Tetris: players must clear blocks off the screen by switchingadjacent horizontal blocks to create horizontal and vertical lines of three ormore identically colored blocks. Blocks rise in rows from the bottom of thescreen, and, once they reach the top, the game is over. While it's deceptivelyeasy at first, the steadily increasing speed of the rising blocks requiresplayers to make combos (more than three blocks in a line) and chains (creatingmultiple lines simultaneously), both of which pause the rise of the blockstemporarily.

Featuring six gaming modes and puzzles in both 2-D and 3-D, PokémonPuzzle League is best played by one player versus the computer (in theStadium) or in two-player "versus" mode. In these modes, creating combos andchains causes "garbage" blocks to fall from the top of your opponent's screen, which results in some villainously vindictive gameplay.--Joe Hon

Pros:

  • Fun and challenging Tetris-like game for all ages
  • Outstanding two-player "versus" gameplay
  • 2-D and 3-D puzzles, six gaming modes, and very thorough tutorials
  • "Puzzle University" mode lets players create their own puzzles
Cons:
  • Pokémon aspect of the game is purely thematic

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game!
Even if you hate Pokemon, but like puzzle games, you will love this! It's very addicting, I really enjoy playing it! It's even better than Tetris! Give it a try!

5-0 out of 5 stars tetris on speed only more competitive
My roommates in college and I played this every day for a semeseter. Some of our friends bought N64 just for this game. The Pokemon element is annoying and has nothing to do w/ the game and only makes people look at you funny when you try to tell them how cool the game is.Were this Mario's puzzle league it would probably have the name recognition Dr Mario enjoyed.the folks at nintendo botched this one.If you play this long enough you almost enter the matrix so to speak, you can set up huge combos, the head to head 2d mode is my favorite and it's a blast to play w/ your friends. Drinking a little when you play seems to help too. This is like tetris on speed only more competitive b/c the head to head mode also includes strange trash talk from wierd little pokecharacters.dont let the annoying little creatures stop you from checking out this game, its one of the best i've come across.

5-0 out of 5 stars It is SO addictive!
And so so fun!I play it ALL the time when I get bored (got it used at a blockbuster for 9$!) and love it.It's just like Tetris Attack, but harder (good for someone like me who graduated quickly from the limited difficulties of the Tetris Attack version!)The 3-d mode is fun too!My mom hates the repeating sounds, though... so I sometimes turn it down for her!

4-0 out of 5 stars you will be tempted to play this obsessively, but don't!
With puzzle-type games, it's easy to start an addiction.Especially with games as fun as Pokemon Puzzle League. It's a basic and familiar premise: match up 3 or more blocks of the same color and watch them disappear.Based on this simple idea, several different types of 1-player modes were created, as well as a 2-player mode. All are fun to play, and some of the 1-player modes are quite challenging.
Now about my addiction... err... the possibility of addiction... If you constantly play this game (espceially the 1-player mode), you will get too good at it, and the challenge, as well as the fun, will be lost.Fortunately for you, this should take many many months during which you will enjoy several games with your friends and by yourself.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not only for the young, but only for the young at heart...
I'm 24 and I loved this game. I don't tend to like shooting or racing games; I like the ones with stories, characters, scenery, strategy. Yes, this game is easy, but it really is fun. You drive in a cart (you don't get to control the cart, though; it's like a ride at an amusement park: it just goes) through various environments (beach, river, valley, volcano, etc.) trying to get pictures of different Pokemon. Some are out in the open and easy to shoot, some won't appear without lots of experimentation and/or observation and strategizing. The goal is to get the best shot you can of each different Pokemon. When you get to the end of a level, you pick which pictures you want to show to the Professor for whom you're working. He rates them on different qualities and stores them for his report. You can go back to each level as often as you like trying to get the best pictures. A simple game with fun graphics. ... Read more

As with just about anything brandishing the Pokémon name,Pokémon Stadium is a must-have for any Pokémaniac. But thistitle is especially geared towards owners of Pokémon Red,Pokémon Blue, or Pokémon Yellow for the Game Boy.Using the same battle system as the Game Boy games--think highly advancedrock-paper-scissors--Pokémon Stadium allows players to entertheir Pokémon in a variety of tournaments and other battle modes, allfeaturing vibrant 3-D graphics and animation, as well as enhanced sounds andannouncer commentary. Using the included Transfer Pak, players can use their ownPokémon from Game Boy Game Paks, or they can choose from a pool ofrental Pokémon.

Pokémon Stadium isn't all battles, though. The Kids Club modefeatures nine cutesy minigames that make for great multiplayer fun for all ages.Gallery mode lets players take snapshots of Pokémon (similar toPokémon Snap), which can then be printed out as stickers at yourlocal Pokémon Snap station.

While Pokémon Stadium doesn't require that you already have anyGame Boy version of Pokémon, players won't be able to access twoof the best features of the game without one. Pokémon Lab allows playersto view, store, and better organize the data on their Game Paks, as well astrade Pokémon with another player (which requires an additional TransferPak, sold separately). GB Tower allows gamers to play their Game BoyPokémon cartridge on the Nintendo 64. --Joe Hon

Pros:

  • Tried-and-true Pokémon battle system with enhanced graphics andsounds
  • Allows you to play your Game Boy Pokémon game on the Nintendo64
  • Ability to manipulate data on your Game Boy Pokémon game
  • Minigames make for great multiplayer fun for all ages

Cons:

  • Not likely to win over any Pokémon holdouts
  • The Game Boy Pokémon games are a better starting point fornewbies to the genre

5-0 out of 5 stars MY FAVORITE POKEMON GAME FOR NINTENDO 64!
I love this game because it feels like I am in a real pokemon battle. I can pick all the cute pokemon out there inculding my favorite pokemon Pikachu! This game is fun and I recomend this game for any hard core pokemon fans like me!

4-0 out of 5 stars A great game with strange coincidences...
Pokemon Stadium is a great game that allows trainers to battle with the pokemon that they spent sooo much time training on their GameBoy pokemon red, blue,& yellow games! Note:You cannot use pokemon from the gold, silver, crystal, ruby, and sappire games, not to mention FR/LG versions of the game. I used to love playing this game back in 1999,but during the time that I used to play this game,I started to realize strange coincidences that always seemed to work in the enemy's favor! For some strange reason, moves with low accuracy, such as FISSURE,that also terminates one pokemon in a single hit! Would strike my pokemon WAY to often! Just to clarify, this is how it works,FISSURE only has a 30% chance of hitting an opponent, yet it seemed to strike my pokemon every time without fail! I have been know to refer to these coincidences as "Cheat-detectors" Because they only seem to happen if you are literally dominating your opponent! FISSURE is only an example, these "Cheat-detectors" can pop up at any time and effect any attack, you may find your attacks continueously missing you opponents pokemon for no appearent reason!!! These Cheat-detectors also exist in PokeMon Stadium 2,but Iam not sure if they exist in Pokemon Colosseum for the GameCube, but I'll bet that they are! This is not so much of a set-back as it is an annoyance,Cheat-detectors dont make the game impossible to win,but they do get in the way of winning as well as annoy you to no end. Pokemon Stadium & Pokemon Stadium 2
are worth the money and are entertaining to play! I recommend buying them, but be ready for lots of strange coincidences that effect overall game play.written by,

5-0 out of 5 stars educational
this game teaches you gameing skills in pokemon, this can sometimes help you in your life!

4-0 out of 5 stars more pokemon!
First this game comes with a bundle pak that lets you play your red, blue, and yellow version gameboy games on your n64. This game also has Professor Oak's lab where you can check or switch your items and your pokemon, and check the pokedex.

Anyway, in this game all 151 pokemon are present(yes you can probably use Mew and Mewtwo in battles but maybe you have to beat the whole game to get them). You have to compete in 2 different modes to complete the whole game. Stadium:there are 4 cups Poke Cup, Prime cup, Pika cup, and Petit cup. In the Poke and Prime cups you have to beat 4 different trophies Poke ball, Great ball, Ultra ball, and master ball. The Pika and Petit cup you only have to beat 1 trophy each. Gym leader castle:make your way up to the castle by battling the 8 gym leaders(with 3 apprentices before each), the elite four, and Gary(Ash's rival). Free battle:battle with friends(you can battle in teams, 2 vs. 2 or 1 vs. 3). If you don't have the gameboy games you do battling with the rental pokemon the game has provided for you. When you beat a partial of the game you can battle Mewtwo(the strongest Pokemon ever) using 6 pokemon. If you beat Mewtwo you do an adventure 2 which is a hard part of the game. I do not know what happens when you beat this part of the game because I am still working on it. When you want to get away from battling you can compete in 9 different minigames with up to 4 players:Magikarp's Splash, Clefairy Says, Run Rattata Run, Snore War, Thundering Dynamo, Sushi-Go-Round, Ekans hoop hurl, Rock harden, and Dig Dig Dig. These minigames are actually fun.

Great game for pokemon lovers and very challenging. Try it out!

5-0 out of 5 stars Pokemon Stadium : One of the Best Games for Nintendo 64!
It is very hard to find good N64 games. But Pokemon Stadium (original) is listed on the "Best Games for N64" category.

Pokemon Stadium (original) is a game where you have to compete in a tournament to win badges. You can also challenge GYM LEADERS. They are a little difficult!

Some of you may be saying, "But I don't have Pokemon Red nor Blue. Now I can't play the game. BOOHOOHOO! :( " Well then, you are wrong. If you don't have Red or Blue (for Game Boy), you can rent Pokemon from the game. However, you don't own them. (That means you can't train them to do special abilities.)

TIRED OF BATTLING? Play some mini-games at the Kid Zone. (It's for all ages.) You can play with up to four (4) players! They are very easy to learn, but challenging to do.

GB TOWER. Have Pokemon Red or Blue and the Transfer Pak? If you do, go to the GB TOWER and you can play your Pokemon Red or Blue on the big screen!

I've only told you only a part of what this game has to offer. This game will keep you entertained for hours. Pokemon Stadium (original) won Player's Choice, that means it's a really good game! Get it today! You won't regret it! ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

WWF No Mercy picks up exactly where Wrestlemania 2000 leftoff--it uses the same wrestling engine as its predecessor, only with morewrestlers, more match types, and other additions that will make hard-corewrestling fans devilishly happy.

For starters, there are 65-plus wrestlers, including old- and new-schoolers,tossed onto carefully copied sets like Wrestlemania and SmackDown. There arealso new backstage areas, like the sharply detailed bar, which incorporates apool table for optimal slammage.

New matches, such as the ladder match and guest-referee match, offer numerouspossibilities, like using the ladder as a springboard, or ignoring pins whentaking control of the official. Weapons also abound, and now these items can behurled around, even from the floor to the ring, where they're likely to hit aclueless opponent. A story mode adds tremendous replay value to this one, givingplayers the option of turning good or bad, with a variety of consequences thatare based on that decision.

As stated, the game plays just like Wrestlemania 2000--meaning the samedegree of slowdown and questionable artificial intelligence. The slowdownparticularly hampers the game when many wrestlers take the ring at once; itseems that this title pushes the Nintendo 64 to the limit, as far as on-screenaction goes.

But the game's good points more than outweigh its bad, and, all told, NoMercy will satisfy wrestling fans who are looking for a taste of theirfavorite male melodrama. --Robb Guido

Pros:

  • Overwhelming number of wrestlers, complete with special moves
  • Excellent novelty matches, and plenty of weapons for clobbering opponents
Cons:
  • Big-time slowdown when the action starts to heat up in the ring

5-0 out of 5 stars great game but lacks certain qualities
this game is very well done probably the only problem is when you do a tag team or fatal four way match, the game moves slowly and takes time to get back to normal. the story is a great feature to this game, fighting backstage, starting rivalrys is very cool. also the fireball or poison mist moves really leave different marks to your opponent's face. I strongly reccommend this game to anyone who likes wrestling games.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Best Wrestling Game On The 64
I've always loved wrestling games and they just keep getting better and better. I've been into them since the SNES days. And when the 64 came out, WWF War Zone became my favourite, then Attitude, but then THQ started bringing out there WCW titles. I hated the WCW, so I never played them for quite a long time. I never had a go at their first release they brought out, but I somehow ended up with a copy of WCW VS NWO Revenge, at first I was focused to find every flaw I could and put it down and never look at it again, but each day I found myself playing git more and more and more and when THQ lost the rights to WCW they picked up the rights to the WWF and released a game that became my new favourite instantly, "WWF Wrestlemania" . But as the N64 was on it's way out, THQ gave one last release and made the best Wrestling game to date. I've played a lot of wrestling games, and a lot have come and gone, and a lot have had lasting value and quality, but none like this game. Next to Wrestlemania Arcade this game is the best.

There is a tonne of Wrestlers who each have 4 slots. What I mean by that is when you select your wrestler; you can select 4 different versions of that wrestler, with a different look of clothing, or hairstyle or something. Some even have a different character all together. You just press one of your buttons to toggle through them all. And a great option is that you can change every single character. You can change their cloths, name, music, everything except there moves. That mean you can completely replace a wrestler who is a default in the game if you want. Or you might just like to Change one of the 4 Rikishi's into Yokozuna, or change one of the slots of Kane and clone Undertaker so that he has the Tombstone as his finisher instead of the "Last Ride". The best thing about it is that you do not need a memory card; every thing is saved onto the cartridge itself!

There are heaps of matches, and you can choose pretty much whatever rules you want. From pin falls, hardcore, iron man, tag, 2 on 1, 3 on 1, cage, rumble, and even a great ladder much that is a lot of fun to play with friends. The best thing is you can now go back stage. You just whip your opponent up the entrance way, and you can fight in the stage area, then you can whip them back stage again and fight down a corridor that has doors that lead to the boiler room, a locker room with a table you can smash your opponent through, a pool room that you can slam your foe through the snooker table, and a car park. Back in the arena you can also send your enemy crashing through the announcers table! And you can pick weapons out of the crowed at any time, and even use the ring steps! There is a lot of Weapons to grab, almost everything from the WCW REVENGE game is back, but not all, but there is also great big beer cans, al snows Head, books, briefcases, fire extinguishers even a big cheese! There heaps to find.

You can battle in a kind of season match that has story lines to follow, but once you have completed that it becomes very boring, that has no lasting value there. There is also a survivor mode. Which is basically an iron man 4-way battle royal. You have to eliminate 99 other wrestlers to win! You can throw them over the rope to eliminate them, pin then, make them submit or TKO them. If you make it all the way through you get Andre The Giant as a hidden character and he becomes selectable, but the more opponents you eliminate, the more points you get to use in the shop. The shop is a place where you buy new things, from weapons, to costumes, even moves!

The create a wrestler is terrific. The moves look great, and there is so many more new moves added to the game then the last titles. Plus there about 20 slots with 4 each in them to choose from.

The controls work very well, and there is not just one special move to every one, all depending on where you are, wether you are grappling, at there feet, on the rope ect... then great moves can be done.

Where there is good, you have to accept the bad as well. If THQ where still making games for the 64 then they would not these flaws and use it to improve the next version, but everyone is done with the 64.

- No "in-ring" intro. Your wrestler comes out to his theme music and titan tron video, but he only poses on the stage area, they don't walk into the ring anymore and do there in ring poses.
-
- Tag team partners only come out together in season mode. They are separate intros in exhibition modes.
-
- It's really annoying in royal rumble modes when somebody is eliminated and you have to wait about 10 seconds for the next wrestler to run down to the ring and get in, they should have shown that in the back ground and let the game resume instead of doing it the way they have. It is also annoying when you have your "spirit" meter flashing to preform your special moves and it has run out by the time the next wrestler has gotten in the ring.
-
- They have taken out the test of strength showdown. In the last few games if both opponents tried to grapple at the same time they would lock into a test of strength and whoever was the better of the two would get the advantage to preform a move to break it up.
-
- The Undertaker's theme music is a song is RAW. Not whatever his theme song was at the time, either American Bad### by Kid Rock or Rollin,Rollin, Rollin by Limp Bizket. Why didn't THQ just give his old dark side theme or something?
-
- There are great double team moves, but there are a few missing, it would have been nice to have the "double choke slam" that Kane and Undertaker used to do. Or the Tennessee Jam that Too Cool did when one would hold there opponent in a back breaker and the other would jump of the top rope and leg drop the guy being held. Or the move the hardy boys do where one kneels down in a doggy position and the other springs off him for the sidekick.
-
- There is too many Mick Foleys; I think having 12 of him in the game is too many, particularly in Rumbles. But you can just edit over him.

Despite those flaws. This is still the best wrestling game there is. You probably would be able to fix some of those flaws in a rom version maybe, but this is the `still played by me' n64 version.

So layeth the smack down, if ya smell what the sock is cookin'. And that's the bottom line or you can suck it.

5-0 out of 5 stars My favourite video game ever.
WWE No Mercy is hands down my favourite game ever. Even now, after it's been out for years and there are many superior video game consoles, it's still the best. Sure, it's pretty much the same game as WCW/NWO and Wrestlemania 2000, but there are upgrades. The create a character is much better, and there are more matches, such as ladder and first blood, and you can fight in different backstage areas. Also, there are many more moves to choose from. This game has given me countless hours of entertainment, and there will be many more to come. Check this out, especially since you can get it for so cheap now.

3-0 out of 5 stars Fun but...
Sure this game is fun and loaded with tons of superstars and different playing modes, but it seems like the moves are all the same! Wrestlemaina 2000 is the same way. The game to beat has to be WCW/NWO Revenge. All the wrestlers have different moves and not everything is the same like WWF games. The only thing I dont care about that game is you can only play superstars and not have a career mode or defend titles.

5-0 out of 5 stars best wwe game ever ...and i meen ever in the world no lie
o my god this game was so fun i spent days non stop... the game and getting to the world title is touph considering you have to win the royal rumble and you are entantet # 1 but go to the survial mode and pratice thats how i got to win the title i would start with the hardcore title to get a title that was the easiest but at all cost buy this game if you have a 64

fun 5/5
gameplay 5/5
graphics for the time 5/5
overall 5/5

4-0 out of 5 stars Not Bad but HARD![.]
Out of all the RTS Games available I'd have to say this one should only be one of them that you buy if you enjoy long stratigic battles.By far this would have to be one of the most challenging that i've played not because it is C&C but because it is on N64.Pretty much the game is as the computer version but I would have to say 5 times as harder. There is no easy or moderate only a preset level that is sometimes impossilbe.Since westwood does not believe in cheats the game also does not have any cheats. All in all the graphics were fair but the game play made up for that.It does hook just that if you wanted to replay a previously played game you could just that if you wanted to return to the campain you were at, you would end up at the game you had just beaten in that campain.Sounds confusing so I would recommened you rent the game before buying it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Everybody Wants to Rule the World
I got this game and I thought it was going to be just an okay game. Did I ever find out how wrong I was! The game is absolutely addictive! You can play as the Global Defense Initiative (GDI)the good guys or the bad guys, who are simply called the NOD. There are 15 GDI missions and 13 NOD missions. There are also two exclusive N64 only missions for each side. The grapihics are okay, but not anything real fancy. If you want to run the game in High Resolution mode make sure you have an expansion pack; this also makes the graphics better. Just remember to go to the opions menu and select High Resolution everytime you play because if you don't the game will run on Medium Resolution. When you use and airstrick for the GDI or use a lot of flamthrowers, flamtankes, or a Nuclear Missile for the NOD, the game play will so slow down to a crawl until the fire stopsm but after the napalm is it out the game goes back to its normal speed. When a soldier dies he spills over and a little pile of blood comes out and then it disappears along with the body. If you run over enemy troops with tank or something, you get a squishy sound. When a soldier dies you may hear a scream. These are the only violent grapcis in the game. The music is great at times, but some of the tracks are boring. This is the best strategy game for the N64! A little hint to help is that the NOD are great at whiping out infantry while the GDI are better equipped to handle tanks and defensive positions. When you are capable to produce tanks and vehicles build vehicles instead of infratry because a NOD flame tank or a NOD flamethrower can wipe out a lot of infantry with no problem at all. If you play as the NOD then build turrets and light tanks to take out the GDI forces. You can use a group of light tanks to run over infantry. Also another hint is that if you play as NOD build some recon motorcycles in the later missions when GDI uses ORCAs, they are kind of like helicopters, to harrass you and if the recon units are in guard mode they will attack the flying pests. This is definitely a must have since new N64 games are no longer coming out. Some of the later missions can take up to three to four hours to complete. Have fun!

5-0 out of 5 stars pretty damn good
this game is very cool.it is all startigy.builde a huge army or simply set up a ambush buy the game its awesome

5-0 out of 5 stars Great strategy game
Command and Conquer is the greatest strategy game I've seen for N64.This game allows you to plan and strategize as the action happens, unlike other slow, methodical, and totally boring strategy games.

Another cool part is you can choose which side to fight on: the good side (GDI) or the bad side (NOD).Every mission is complex, puzzling, and can be won many different ways.

Overall, this is a great game and a great buy.

5-0 out of 5 stars C&C Red Alert 2
This game is totally awesome!I love it.The graphics and everything are very, very, very realistic. It makes you believe it could actually happen! ... Read more

While it never quite achieves Muhammad Ali-like greatness, Knockout Kings 2000 isnonetheless an excellent boxing game for both the enthusiast and the casual gamer. Fifty boxing legendsfrom the past and present are featured in this EA Sports title, along with world-famous arenas and TV-stylecoverage. In addition to being able to set up your own fights in the standard exhibition mode, you can playout nine of the greatest boxing matches in history in the game's classic mode. And for those interested inless realism and more pugilism, slugfest mode offers over-the-top, arcade-style boxing.

The real crowd pleaser here is Knockout Kings 2000's career mode. Choosing from a wide varietyof options, you get to create your own custom boxer, who can fight his way to the top in career mode orparticipate in exhibition and slugfest matches. Before career fights, customized boxers can be improved bytraining, or playing various mini-games. (A memory card is required to save custom boxer data.)

What robs Knockout Kings 2000 of the championship belt is its unbalanced 3-D graphics. Theboxers look great and move fluidly, but everything else appears flat and unfinished. Thankfully, fast gamespeed and responsive controls clamp down on the sightseeing, which is one sure-fire way to end up KO'd.--Joe Hon

Pros:

  • Can create your own custom boxer
  • Features realistic and arcade-style boxing
  • Fast game speed and responsive controls
  • Optional 1-button mode for those who don't want to memorize controls
Cons:
  • Except for the boxers, graphics aren't very pretty

2-0 out of 5 stars They tried, but they didnt quite get there.
When EA sports got the rights to WCW I guess they thought about how to do it, to go with the way THQ did it, or the way ACCLIAM would? They seemed to be able to make a graphic that is in between! It's kind of the THQ game play with WWF Attidues graphic's in a way. The graphics of the wrestlers and motion in this game arnt too bad. But there are so many flaws...

- No constume change for a wrestler
- Cant edit wrestlers
- Created wrestlers cannot have there moves choosen individual, you have to select a pre programed set of moves from one of the eqsisting wrestlers in the game.?
- too many moves are wrong, not done right, given to the wrong wrestler ect...
- It sucks to only be able to hit your oppnonent with a weaopen 2 or 3 times before they block it (every time, no joke)
- Goin backstage is nothing special, 4 weapons and no where to go but back to ring side.
- The codes are annoying to have to put in up to 15 digit codes everytime you wanna access it.
- there has been little attention payed by the creators to the back ground.
- everything is too prgrammed. You figure out right away that eventualy you can hit your opponent twice on the ground before they get up ect...
- only one special move, and all are done the same way in a grapple, which means wrestlers like Bret Hart and Stings Sharpshooter are not there finishers!
- You can only select about 5 tunes for a CAW's ring music.
- The entrences are very dodgey
- The commentary becomes VERY annoying after youve heard it repeated 1000 times in the one match.
- CAW cant choose attires from the other wrestlers, or a mustache like Hogan to make a CAW version of the yellow and red hogan.
- Theres the option for whose moves you want, and what finisher, however they are not a seperate option, if you choose Nash's moves, you finisher is Nashes Jacknife Powebomb
- A lot of moves are missing; Booker T's axe kick finisher thing, Bret Harts 'hart attack', double team moves, ways to turn your oponent around to grabble them from behind, there is only one pin - not one of them hooks the leg or anything unless it's a move given to them, taunts are missing, entrence taunts are wrong or missing.
- It's another game that has completly ignored Hulk Hogans Leg Drop as being a devestating finisher, it's simply just a running leg drop that doesnt even look like the height Hogan would do it from, it's just an average leg drop with little damage.
- Goldbergs not only in the game, but on the damn cover.
and finally, it's WCW.

My recomendation is WWF NO MERCY over anything.
But, if you are the WCW fan, then I recomend WCW/NWO REVENGE. But serisly, No Mercy is the best wrasslin game on the 64.

4-0 out of 5 stars I got shocked when I first played it...
When I first picked this game up, I got scared because I thought I already had it, I went to the Create-A-Wrestler portion, and I was already on the memory card, it turns out that created wrestlers from WCW Backstage Assault can be used in this and vice versa, this in itself is quite a step forward, seeing as there hasn't been anything similar since, in a series of wrestling games...
The game itself is okay, the gameplay is kind of easy, and really slow-paced (ie. it looks like its in slow motion at some points.) But for the time, and for WCW/EA's resources, I find it to be very ammusing.
It is a recommended novelty wrestling game for the N64, its not comparable from WWF's No Mercy for the N64, because they are completely different, nothing at all, except for wrestling brings the two together.

1-0 out of 5 stars What a piece of crap!
You can go backstage.

Thats the closest to a compliment I can give for this waste of putrid... [feces](dooke)that electronic arts has deemed a video game!
All the rest of the game is awful! The controls are slow and out of place and the characters look like gorrillas rather than wrestlers! And then the energy system ruins the gameplay. And the graphics are blocky and just plain... [butt]-ugly!I could go on forever!Get WWF No Mercy or WCW Revenge if you want a good wrestling game.
This game sucks.Dont get it or you will be sorry!

2-0 out of 5 stars Really hated it
I hated WCW Mayhem for a lot of reasons. One, way too much production level was spent on making the characters look good and they still looked awful. The Create A Wrestler was a total pain. Why? Because if you picked certain items of clothing for a wrestler, it didn't match and he looked stupid. Honestly, if you picked Nash's pants, you either had to be skins on top or wear his tank top as well because nothing else matched or looked right. That and you didn't get to pick any of their moves. Again, another F- for effort.

Basically all you did was create a new non-matching-outfit-having wrestler with someone else's moves. Bad. Very bad. So bad that's why WWF Warzone never did that type of Create a Wrestler ever again. And not saying that WWF Attitude was the heart stopping game that it was supposed to be, but at least they learned their lesson and never did that type of Create a Wrestler option.

The grappling totally ate. I was basically kicking, punching and occassionally jumping off the top rope in an attempt to win. I could not get the grapping. It was seriously that bad. Every now and then, I'd pull off a little something, but after that one time, I could never replicate the move. Again another G- for effort (the grading was so low that I couldn't even give it an F because it was that bad).

I wouldn't waste time or money on this title. I still think the better N64 wrestling game was WCW/NWO or WCW Revenge. If you really want to play this bad attempt, then go ahead but I won't be responsible when after you play it, realize that it WAS THAT BAD and throw it out the window.

1-0 out of 5 stars The Main Problem with WCW Mayhem
I agree with Most of the Disses with WCW Mayhem but I don't understand why no one noticed what I noticed about the game.
First of all it's that People are unique we all Act and do things our own way. Case in point WCW Mayhem All wrestlers should Have different taunts and Mannerisms but, in This game every wrestler has the same taunts. They Proboblyput all their efforts into making the wrestlers look good(which they also didn't do a good job of) but, still that's no excuse. Judging by the lameness of this game, I'd say they lazily slopped this game together and caring only about the look of the wrestlers, said "Hey lets not worry about making them different, people we'll be so impressed by the awesome graphics they won't notice"

Conclusion: Wcw is not worth the time and money you spend on it to Rent it Much less buy it. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Despite some minor flaws, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing is a solid performer, delivering good arcade-style boxing action. All of the game's 18 boxers have distinct characteristics in keeping with their comically caricatured looks, including trademark special moves. In addition to arcade mode--where you fight in successive tournament-style bouts--the game features a championship mode in which you choose a boxer and train him to achieve Rocky-like status. To win the title fights along this road to victory, you must train your boxer in various mini-games to improve his abilities, as well as win prize and exhibition fights to raise money to pay for said training. A controller pack is required to save boxer data, and you're probably going to want to use the optional thunder pack to experience the full Rumble.

While the supported expansion pack gives Ready 2 Rumble Boxing crisp, high-resolution graphics, the game's speed could have used a boost as well, being distractingly inconsistent at times. And while the game certainly sounds good, the digitized dialogue can be annoyingly repetitive, none more so than sports announcer Michael Buffer's patented "Let's Get Ready to Rumble!" chant. --Joe Hon

Pros:

  • Good arcade-style boxing
  • Excellent 2-player head-to-head action
  • Challenging mini-games in championship mode
  • Ability to use customized boxers in exhibition fights
Cons:
  • Game speed is inconsistent at times
  • Repetitive digitized voices

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun People, fun game!!
When I first saw this I Thought ...! Then I hear good things about it so I give it a chance. And then "WOW" this is cool.My sugjestion is do the original first before you run to buy the 2nd one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Boxing...Sweeeeeeet!!!
I love this game, you will never get tired of it and it has a great multiplayer, i play it all the time.Buy this game, you wont regret it!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars For a boxing game it's great
From the previews on Tv for "Ready 2 Rumble Boxing," it looked like it would be a lot of fun.And for the most part it is.You choose from several boxers to either fight against a computer player or a friend. In 1 player, you can play a Championship mode and work your way up from #10 all the way to being the real champ. But it's not easy. There's not any special moves in "Ready 2 Rumble Boxing," which was the only bad thing about the game. However, you can use a lot of the recognizable punches from a jab to the uppercut by pressing different combinations of buttons on the controller. You can also block and dodge to keep from being hit. After you land so many good hits against your opponent, the word RUMBLE will be spelled at the bottom of the screen. When you see RUMBLE at the bottom, press A and B at the same time and your gloves will light up, making your fighter truly ready to rumble by making them stronger and faster.Once you get knocked down, you have to press the buttons as fast as you can to get back up and keep from being eliminated. After you get knocked down so many times, you lose. There are also other modes of play such as Exhibition fights.

"Ready 2 Rumble Boxing" has pretty good graphics and somewhat realistic character movements. Its control is easy enough to master in a short time, and the sound is probably the best aspect of the game. The man who is famous for the line: "Let's get ready to rumble" is the announcer and you can tell it's really him by the speech. To make the game even better, there's a few hidden boxers such as Kemo Claw and a huge creature that you can find by putting in the right code. There's also a random select if you're not sure what fighter you want.

"Ready 2 Rumble Boxing" is definitely the best boxing game I've ever played, after you get used to the controls and memorize how to do certain punches, it's a lot of fun.If you like boxing games, I recommend getting it as soon as you can.

5-0 out of 5 stars Review for Ready 2 Rumble boxing
This game is the greatest boxing game I've played, mabey the best sports games I've played and I have played alot of boxing games from almost all the game systems. This has cool options, a cool single player game , and a cool 2 player game you should DEFINETLY BUY THIS GAME!!!

3-0 out of 5 stars One of the best boxing games made...
Ready 2 Rumble is a fun game plain and simple.I haven't had this much fun with a boxing game since Mike Tyson's Punch-Out...and R2R expands on every aspect of that NES classic. The only real problem is the longevityof the game.I got tired of the one player game pretty quick, there reallyis not much to it once you figure out combos and master the Rumbleflurries. If you have only a Nintendo, then its a really great buy.Butif you have a Dreamcast, buy that superior version. The DC versionrepresnts what R2R really is, fantastic graphics and sound, while the N64verion is really a step down. The developers did a good job of strippingR2R down to N64's abilitys. It's a good version, but not the quality ofthe Dreamcast version. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A VERY FUN MACHINE
My father just bought this edition of the N64. I haven't tested it yet, but I've tested the original system (released 1996)...and it was very fun....and it lasted only 24 hours. But now that my father bought this limited-edition yellow-and-blue Pikachu edition...The system's mine forever!!! I really have to celebrate!!! I like this edition too much than the original. I need to test it before I can tell you more. The test will be held in Jujuy September 2, 2002. The test will be based on an hour of play with this edition. Now I'm serious back. OK, the Pikachu version accomplishes my requirements of fun: A game, a Rumble Pak, and, most important thing of all, a 64-bit powerful N64 Pikachu edition. It comes with "Hey you, Pikachu", a game where you interact with this lovely Pokémon via a microphone (not included). Oh, sorry. I said one thing that you've already told on your review. And, speakin' of that, did you like it when it arrived to your hands?

1-0 out of 5 stars Terrible! Avoid at all costs!
A horrible game that features all the top stars of the defunct company and no ring whatsoever.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cool Game
This game has generic entrance music, confusing create a wrestler, but most importantly, it has 3 count!

5-0 out of 5 stars You must not be wrestling fans
WCW Backstage Assault is cool! The interactive environments are the bomb and the fact that EA gives you an entire arena to fight in. The line up of wrestlers is cool too.

3-0 out of 5 stars Wrestling game loses ring...
WCW had problems. Big problems. One of them was their stinky video games. "Backstage Assault" takes a new idea and almost ruins it. The game is very easy to play, but why bother? What wrestling fan wants a game that takes place outside the wrestling ring? Sounds like "Betrayal," that Game Boy game that WWF put out. This game is a decent fighting game, but an awful wrestling game. And don't bother trying the PSX version. It's even worse.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWSOME GAME!!!!!!!!!!!
This game is awsome. Not like in most of the boring wrestiling, where you are only alowed to fight on the stage. In this one you are able to run from room to room. You can rip pay phones of the walls, hit people with weights, and give them thier much needed electric shocks. GET IT. IT'S GREAT AND WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! ... Read more

Editorial Review

A first-person shooter that mixes spy and sci-fi, PerfectDark is both a thoroughly engrossing one-player experience and ariotously fun multiplayer romp. Easily one of the best games of itsgenre on any video game console, this long-awaited follow-up toGoldenEye 007 is a must-have for Nintendo 64 owners--and a damngood reason to be one if you're not.

The futuristic Perfect Dark casts players as Joanna Dark, asecret agent who becomes embroiled in a sinister conspiracy involvingaliens and an evil corporation. Gameplay is broken down into missions, each with objectives that must be unerringly completed beforeprogressing to the next mission. This is not your typical kill-anything-that-movesgame: putting a bullet in the wrong person, not keeping theright one alive, or perforating a seemingly unimportant inanimate objectcan often result in mission failure.

While Perfect Dark's solo missions play out much like those inGoldenEye 007, the game's fantastic multiplayer options areanother matter entirely. Cooperative and counteroperative simultaneous-playmodes allow for another player to join in on a mission as,respectively, a teammate or the enemy. However, the real fun here is inthe highly customizable Combat Simulator, a one-to-four-playersimultaneous-play mode that features both free-for-alls and team-basedchallenges and can include up to eight Simulants, computer-controlledcombatants of varying behavior.

Although Simulants make for decent adversaries or teammates, you'll wantto grab a friend--and an Expansion Pak, as only 35 percent of the gameis available without one--to fully enjoy Perfect Dark. --JoeHon

Pros:

  • One of the best first-person shooters on any video game console
  • Outstanding multiplayer game with huge replay value
  • Bevy of game options, cheats, and secret features
  • Excellent training mode with challenges all of its own
Cons:
  • Graphics get ugly when playing with more than two players

5-0 out of 5 stars Still Good
I have a rather large collection of N64 games, and still play them. This is one of those games that, even with the breadth of first person shooters available today, still stands out on it's own.Improving on the Golden Eye engine, you're given plenty of imaginative weapons to work with, from the Farsight gun that shoots through walls, to machine gun that allows you to cloak yourself, there's plenty of toys to go around.

The one player campaign is filled with replay value, especially with co-op and "counter-agent" options, allowing another player to either play a mission with or against you.Same format from Golden Eye exists here: easy, medium and hard difficulty levels with rewards for completing each.

The multiplayer does suffer a bit in terms of graphics, but the fact that you have so many options, from adding simulants, to changing the format of the game (team mode, death match, capture the flag, etc.), to customizing your level weapons, makes up for this.

Wisely, Rare placed some unlockable features from the Goldeneye games, including guns and multiplayer levels.Other secrets include hidden levels, cheats, etc.

In short, this has to be high on the "must" list for anyone who still plays N64 games.

For the sake of parents buying this for children, I will note there is some occasional cussing (guards sometimes yell "what the h***" when they see you), but this can be turned off on the options screen.Animated blood can also be turned off.By and large this is incredibly tame compared to what passes for "M" rated now, but it should be noted.

5-0 out of 5 stars Golden eye is a peace of shit

Perfect dark toatly whoops golden eyes ass i mean the graphics are incredible the game its self is toatly awsome like combat simulator mode is way cool .. I highly recomand this game get it today at gamestop. Have fun

5-0 out of 5 stars The best 64 killing game yet.

This game is so fun i play it everyday .I always do the combat simulator mode and shoot one of the simulants in its penis and and it falls to its knees and crys AWWWOOO YOU B**** and i bust out laughing this game is fun get it today at blockbuster or gamestop for 5.99.

Have fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars Outstandingly perfect...Almost...
With a game made by the same developers as Goldeneye 007 for N64, it is nearly impossible to go wrong. Perfect Dark does not disappoint. In fact, I am going to go out on a limb and say that Perfect Dark is better than Goldeneye, here is why...

Graphics- 10/10 Goldeneye set the bar when it was released, and Perfect Dark surpasses it, beautifly. Although the graphics are very similar in nature, everything is much clearer and smooth looking. The guns look much more realistic, and the special effects are upgraded. It isn't a dramatic difference, but Goldeneye had graphics far ahead of its time to begin with, and this game still satisfies. In fact it does much more than satisfy.

Sound/Music- 10/10 The music, also, is quite similar to Goldeneye. It has the same unique sound to it, and every track suits the level. The music in Perfect Dark has much more of a techno-esque sound, though. The music in Goldeneye set the mood quite well, and so does Perfect Darks, except now it is much more noticeable and louder. The sound effects are great (especially the reaper), and the guns sound realistic. There are some voice-over moments that are laughable, but that's about it.

Controls- 10/10 The amazing control scheme that made Goldeneye so great has made a flawless return. You use the R button to aim and the control stick to move the cursor around, and it's easier since your screen doesn't always move with the cursor, a flaw that ruined every PS2 shooter for me. I absolutely despise the double control stick aiming scheme used in Halo and Killzone (The games weren't that wonderful to begin with, though, especially Halo, avoid that one at all costs). Anyway, no complaints here either. So far so perfect...

Stroyline/Gameplay- 8/10 If I were to complain about anything, this would have to be it, but only on a minor level. The gameplay is flawless and retains that Goldeneye feeling...but the story...well I wish I could say the same. While definitely not a bad storyline, it isn't at all memorable. Basically, it is the generic " Aliens are attacking and we must destroy their base" ruitine. During the first half of the game the storyline is well- executed, but the horror begins later on. Basically you meet up with a cute little alien named Elvis later on,and discover some interesting things. The first half are spy missions similar to Goldeneye, just more featuristic. But later on, it turns into a Halo-deal, something I wasn't looking forward to. Actually, when I played this game when it first came out, I hated the solo missions, but loved the multiplayer. After playing through the game again, I can say that the solo missions are indeed very fun, but I never found myself getting attached to them or wanting to finish the game on the Perfect Agent difficulty setting. Overall, the solo missions aren't the masterpiece that was Goldeneye, but given the fact that the gameplay is the same as Goldeneye's, it still manages to be fun.

Multiplayer- 100/10 The multiplayer is so good in this game that I decided to give it its own category. Unlike Goldeneye where you had to pick a weapon scheme, this game lets you custon design the weapons selection. Theres a whole array of Sims, too, and you can put up to 8 on at once. The nostalgia of this games multiplayer is just amazing and hard to fathom, very difficult. You can also choose from a whole plethora of Sim types, venge sim, turtle sim (They get a barrier for a long while, but they movem extremely slow, making for hilarious moments.) Difficulty settings for sims are Meat, Easy, Normal, hard, perfect, and dark. Dark sims basically can do maneuvers that humans cannot, kinda like robo-bots or something of that sort. Add 3 friends, yourself, and 8 Sims to the mix, including teams, colors, and a whole array or multiplayer schemes (king of the hill, license to kill etc) and you are setting yourself up for a indefinite blast. I can't even begin to explain how fun this is, you just have to experience it for yourself. I have played Killzone and other new-age shooters and can still say PD surpasses them to extraordinary lengths. Also, lest we forget the challenges. The challenges are extremely fun missions where you have to accomplish a certain deed, and if completed you unlock new stages, weapons, and sims for Multiplayer. You can also play the challenges with up to 3 other people, but the difficulty level goes sky high.

Multiplayer stages- 7/10 I wish Rare would have designed more Goldeneye-esque multiplayer stages. Most of the new stages are rather generic and not very innovative. There are a few great ones (sewers, ravine, and some others whose names I forget), but overall the stages have a rather dull and uninspired look. Don't fear, however, because the Goldeneye favorites are back. Facility (how called faculty or some other odd name) returns as basically a ported but slightly upgraded version of the goldeneye level. Another favorite, Complex is back, and the same can be said about Complex, basically a ported version. Temple also returns, although unfortunately I am not a fan of this multiplayer stage.

Overall- 10/10 Solo missions asside, Perfect Dark is arguably the best first person shooter ever made. The multiplayer is worth it alone, and for a petty 4 or 5 bucks, you cannot pass this game up.

5-0 out of 5 stars one of the best, next to half life and goldeneye for #1
Wow what can you say about this game except amazing in every category. You know this year(2004-05) is was all about what fresh innovations could a next gen 1st person shooter pull off.
Physics, story-telling, immersiveness(Half-life 2) or would it be multiplayer, dual-wielding, and stat keeping cough Halo 2. What the continually growing community neglegted to remember was that Perfect Dark did all of this back in the day. Yes dual weilding, stat keeping, bots in multiplayer, an immersive enviroment and variety of missions. Movable objects in enviroment. Yes folks Perfect Dark changed the FPS shooting genre forever. So recently I rented Star Wars Rebpublic Commando, don't get me wrong, but i played the game for two days and decided to play something else instead, so i dusted of my N64 and put in an old favorite, perfect dark. It had been a while since playing it back in 2000, and boy did i wish i had not stop playing. NOt only is the multiplayer as addicting as halo 2 but there is just so much to do. No friends, no problem, start hacking away at the challenges which at times can be well, quite challenging. Well theres so much to say about a game which has features which are still used in games today. HUngry for a remake, good news, over at half life 2 dot net, the mod community has begun remaking Perfect Dark, you can actually check out some gun models like the "far sight" which im sure the reloading would look pretty sweet on the source engine. Anyways just had to come on amazon to see if people were still recognizing this game for all of its greatness. Sure the new games have the graphics, but whatever happened to stunning game-play. Long live Perfect Dark, now back to the multiplayer. C-ya.

There was just one problem I needed to buy a modulator
but it works great at first my screen was dark than I went
to my TV menu and I could change the settings there.
By the way I have a older 1996 RCA.

2-0 out of 5 stars Do Not use Unless You Absolutely Have To.
Use the AV connections that come with the N64 if at all possible.Sure, if you are going to be toting your N64 around with you, they are a nice thing to have, but they give less quality, and greater headaches than the simple connections that come with the system.I used to take my N64 to friends' houses all the time, and for a while all I had was the RF adaptor (the AV was lost for a long time), and I was getting very tired of screwing it in and out, and to and from this and that... it was just a real pain.

But the worst part of it all is that you cannot hook up the sound to your stereo if you choose to do so (as I do)!

5-0 out of 5 stars Advice on how to keep kids quiet on a long vacation fromhome
Anyone who has kids and an N64 might want to consider this for vacation purposes. Yes that's right, bring along the RF switch, a N64, controllers, games and your kids on your next long vacation. That way it will keep them quiet for a while, and with the RF switch, you always know that your N64 will work with the hotel's televisions, because the only thing that this RF switch requires is a cable ready television. Meanwhile with the normal N64 hookup it requires a more advanced television for the audio and video channels. Anyway the practical use of the RF switch is that it will work on any TV.

5-0 out of 5 stars Works excellent. Problem solved.
I was always pulling the Nintendo 64 system off its platform because the cord was too short. And we had to sit on the floor to play because the cords did not reach to our furniture. This extension cord adds six feet to your controller, which allows you to sit just about anywhere in the room.

5-0 out of 5 stars A must for large screen TV's
If you own a large screen television this product is a must. It allows you to sit back at a comfortable distance and still play the game without having the cord pulling too tightly. I own one and am buying more.

5-0 out of 5 stars cool item
My mom wasn't too exited when I told her I could play from the dinner table. But she let me any how. This item is so cool because you face isn't in the screen of the tv. You can relax on a couch insted of sittingon the floor.

4-0 out of 5 stars A very handy extension!
Do you find yourself pulling the Nintendo 64 system off its platform because the cord was too tight? Or maybe when three friends are over and you all crowd around each other in order for the cords to even reach? Then I think you deserve to own at least one extension cord. It adds six feet to your controller, meaning you can sit just about anywhere in the room! A must-own if you play a lot with friends. So why did I drop a star? Too many cords means it's gonna get messy. They get tangled very easily. But with that said, it's still worth the heart-ache.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great!!!
Makes playing games from far distances much, much easier.Really tight connections.Worth the Price.I'd tell anyone to buy it.Adds a full 6 FEET of cord

It's Great!!! ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

Anyone who has grown up without coming in contact with the Winnie thePooh stories likely suffers as a result a severe whimsy deficit. Whether throughthe original A.A. Milne novelsand stories, or the Walt Disneyfilm adaptations, themisadventures of Pooh, Christopher Robin, Tigger, and Piglet provide acompletely entertaining diversion from ordinary storytelling.

The story in Tigger's Honey Hunt starts with Pooh, who is planning agrand party. But he can't begin to plan the bash without knowing that he hassufficient honey for his guests to enjoy. Bouncing along in his own inimitableway, Tigger pledges to help Pooh locate enough honey pots to get the party offthe ground.

Crisp backgrounds, colorful worlds, and superb animation make this a fun rompthrough the Hundred Acre Woods. Gameplay mechanics are straightforward and aimedat the right demographic.

For anyone but kids, however, this game plays too short and doesn't have enoughindividual play modes (little kids love to play the same game over and over, soa short game doesn't matter much to the under-8 crowd). The title misses PaulWinchell's deft voice-over talent, but there's only so much data that you canfit on a Nintendo 64 cartridge.

Tigger's Honey Hunt really knows what it wants to be: a kids' game. Assuch, it succeeds in providing a darned good--if short--time. --ToddMowatt

Pros:

  • Clean, crisp backgrounds; colorful worlds; and superb animation
  • Straightforward gameplay mechanics aimed at younger gamers
  • Fun, safe gift for young family members
Cons:
  • Older, experienced gamers will find the game too easy
  • Paul Winchell's voice-over talent noticeably absent from the game

2-0 out of 5 stars Too easy for a five year old
Fine for small preschoolers but much too easy for my 5 year old.He breezed through it in about 5 hrs.He is not a video game fanatic so it was surprising. After playing again with him, it is very, very easy.Once again, great starter game for very young but that's it. ...

4-0 out of 5 stars Great for Preschoolers
I rented this game for my 4 year old son.At first he wanted to watch me play, and then he went to town and got through about three levels. This is the first time he has actually played a game like this without just watching. The "Pooh Sticks Bridge" and "Paper, scissors, stone" games on it are fun too and easy to understand.Tigger is absolutely adorable!

5-0 out of 5 stars Cool Addition
The rumble pack was one of the greatest inventions to come out in the video game era. Now with the more updated systems the rumble function is built into the controller. That is not so with the N64.

The Rumble Pack was introduced along side Starfox 64. When you get shot, hit someone, get hit, explosions, and many other actions will cause your controller to shake. It makes game playing a lot more fun. It's great in a football game where your sizing a guy up for a hit, you do it and then you feel the rumble. The controller will shake more if it's a harder impact. Lots of fun. There are some cons. You have to use batteries and you have to take it out to put your memory pack in. To me the cons don't come close to the pros and fun of the controller. If you have an N64 you must own a Rumble Pack. You won't regret it.

5-0 out of 5 stars works well for me
Im glad i got this. It really makes me feel like im in the game. Its also small and fits perfect into the controler pak, and its excellent for any games, though please note that some games won't allow it, but any way, worth buying.

5-0 out of 5 stars If You own an N64 and not a Gamecube, Get The Rumble Pack!!!
I got the N64 for Christmas by a nice worker at a Chinese restaurant in 1999.When I first tried it I was amazed.I never saw 3-D graphics since I upgraded from the SNES.Then I heard of the Rumble Pack, but I purchased a 3rd party one from Interact since it was cheaper, but it was big, heavy, and required 2 double A batteries. Not to mention, the rumble quality was poor. Then I threw it out and got myself a Naki Rocker Pack w/a built in memory card plus(this pack is battery free).I was really happy with it for a year until I tried the official Rumble Pack. At that very day, I noticed a difference (the Rocker Pack's rumble was weaker than the official one).I decided that it was time to put in some extra cash to get the real Rumble Pcak from the trustworthy Nintendo. The only problem was that it required 2 triple A battries, but at least the performance is top notch.

5-0 out of 5 stars Gamer from Oregon
Delivery was quick and the rumble pack came in excelent condition.THANKS

4-0 out of 5 stars Good product
Good product if your favorite games support it. The PS1 rumble feature is better implemented, though. ... Read more
