Very Bad Quality
Bought this memory card new thinking a memory card is a memory card, as long as it hold your data who cares about if it's a Sony or not. But when I got the card, the case was falling apart already. So I decided to remove the screws and open the plastic case and have a look inside.

To my amazement, the quality of the card was so bad, one of the plastic screw posts (holding the case together) was already broken, so only one side the the case was holding the top and buttom together. The connector was not gold plated (The Sony memory cards are), this will cause the connector to wear out very quickly. When you insert this card into Playstation, it did not snap into place like the Sony card did, so this card could become loss after extended play.

All these problem might cause your games not to be saved properly or erased by accident. Spend [a little extra] and get the Sony one.

It's a memory card, and the price is right.What else can you ask for?It works perfectly with my PS2, and enables me to save PS1 games.(shame on Sony for not enabling the PS2 memory card to do both!)

do not buy this product based on the photo
The picture on amazon.com is misleading. What you think is N64 controller for the PS1 is really no different than a regular PS1 controller.... no middle handle ,no trigger, no thumbstick, no dual shock. if you want another PS1 controller this is fine for the price.

Watch out
when i recieved this item, i realized that it did not have the joystick in the middle as it shows. So if you are ordering this item strictly because of the joystick, find a different product.

Might be a good product if.......
Maybe Im just a rock but how are you supposed to connect your system to both a TV and a audio reciever/decoder? There is not enough play in the end to allow the video cable to go to the TV and the audio cables to go to my sound system. So after trying to slice the individual cables apart with my kbar I finally gave up and just used regular AV cables.

There is a noticeable difference, but not worth the [amount of money]
I got this Monster cable for my PS2 because of the Monster name.And that's just about all you'll get if you buy this set of cables to replace the ones that came with your PS2.Yes, the image quality and the sound quality are improved, but not enough to justify the [amount of money] that you'll spend for these cables.If you got money to burn, then get these cables.Else, the ones that came with your PS2 are good enough.

DVD playback relief
Like a lot of people, I was more than a little disappointed with my PS2 when I brought it home only to discover the bloody thing wouldn't play DVD's worth a...well you know what I'm saying.I was experiencing what I would liken to a tracking problem on a VCR.Flickering, blurred images, etc.I had sent my PS2 back to Sony twice in an attempt to remedy the situation, and each time was met with more failure.

I was at my wits end, until my brother pointed me in the direction of these cables.Now my PS2 plays DVD's like a champ.BUY THESE CABLES (Or any of the other monster products) You won't regret it.

Great performance
I found that even though i dont have a s-video tv, like other people with an older 25 inch tv, I found a NOTICABLE difference in video quality!On games that i was unable to read the text, it became clear as day. There was also a noticable difference in DVD quality. A must have for PS2 owners with older tv's!

Fine for composite, but...
Let me start by saying that Monster Cable makes fine products.Their A/V cables are the best in the business period as far as I'm concerned.That said it is really a waste of money to get this kind of cabling for Composite Video.If your TV accepts S-video or component video then I would definetly opt for the GL 300 and 400 respectively.But at this level the performance doesn't justify the cost. ... Don't buy this!!!!
When I first got myself a PS2 about 2 years ago I made the mistake of not getting a memory card. So I ran back into the store and grabbed the first one I saw. Unfortunately it was this piece of junk. By the time I realized I had to load the software every time I played a game it was too late to take it back to the store. So I just dealt with it until just recently when I bought myself a real PS2 memory card. I also have a pretty good idea that this card and the software caused Jak II to have some glitches including a lockup and a cutscene not playing. So whatever you do don't buy this, just spend the couple extra bucks and buy a regular memory card.

BEWARE! This won't work with the new slimmer PS2 models!
The new slimmer PS2 models won't even load the memory manager cd. If you still use this memory card, you'll have to use the older bulkier PS2 models for the thing to work or transfer the files on the mega memory card onto normal cards. I can't access my FFX saves anymore!!!

Finally
Finally and it only took 3 months to update the picture. This is what you get. I still suggest getting something else, as there are better deals to be gotten.

This is not at all what is in the picture. I first tried buying the 16 meg set advertised without the picture but there is no action replay. Oh Pyramat, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways...
Pyramat is a piece of "gaming furniture," built by gamers for gamers. Let's face it-nobody actually sits in a chair and plays video games. They lay on the couch, they sit on the footrest, they lay on the floor...so why not admit that we're all just a bunch of gaming slobs and design furniture for how we play the game!

I first met Pyramat at a Digital Life convention in New York City. She was sleek, but a little too garish for my tastes-all bright orange and gray. Fortunately, she had a sister that only wore black. Just my kind of gal! I received my very own Pyramat for my birthday and she's shepherded me through an entire game of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II.

Oh Pyramat, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways:

1. You're sexy: The Pyramat takes the awkward pyramid-shaped floor mats and turns it into a thing of beauty by putting something useful in the foam piece that acts as the headrest.
2. You're a Transformer: The Pyramat is quite talented-she folds up, just like those useless pyramid thingies, which means she's a lot easier to store. Even better, Pyramat has multiple modes: you can lay Pyramat out flat or turn her into a chair.
3. You vibrate: It's hard not to love a piece of furniture that vibrates. The Pyramat vibrates when she plays sounds, but it is NOT a rumblepack-enabled device. So don't expect the floor to shake when you play games. It's more like feeling the bass from a speaker.
4. You're easy to control: The Pyramat has a little nifty handheld device that allows the person reclining on the Pyramat to easily control the rumbling and the audio. Which is a good thing when you're killing monsters in Baldur's Gate and one of them decides to shriek at the top of its lungs.
5. You've got a great voice: When your head is between two speakers, the Pyramat's surround sound is so effective that it freaked me out. We were gaming on Halloween and my wife was greatly amused to see me glance left and right, wondering what the clanging sounds in the distance were. Pyramat, you're such a kidder!
6. You're bendy: Pyramat plugs into your TV, so she can be used to just watch TV, videos, or listen to music. Pyramat plugs into anything with an audio output, so that means musical instruments and MP3 players are also fair game.
7. You clean up real nice: Pyramat has zippered compartments for all of the foam inserts. If your cat pukes on Pyramat, it's easy to clean and the cushions can be replaced.
8. You like to bring a friend: Pyramat connects with other Pyramats for the ultimate multiplayer gaming experience. Although I'm not sure I want to lay next to another guy for that long...
9. You give good headphones: You can plug headphones into Pyramat for the ultimate sensory experience without annoying your neighbors with all that noise.
10. You're comfortable: Pyramat is no truncated mat. She's roomy enough at 68" long and 20" wide to lay out flat. Heck, forget gaming, you could just take a nap!

That said, Pyramat could use a cup holder. I mean, what do you think us gaming slobs are doing down on the floor when we're not gaming? We're drinking of course!

But I quibble. Pyramat is a sound investment if you're a serious gamer...or have really gross floors.

my new bed!
I stumbled across this thing in the Urban Outfitters magazine.Laughed it off.
Two months later, I bought one.Now it is an essential part of my gaming experience.Well, tv. as well.I make my girlfriend squeeze on it and watch "24."
If you wanna get sucked into the t.v further than you ever have by being engulfed in sound. I suggest you get this, and hook up external speakers.Get it before Halo 2 comes out, and you probably won't need to leave the house.

Amazing- Best Random Purchase I've made in a while
Face it, you're probably staring at this thing thinking- what the....
That's how I stumbled upon this piece of furniture, looking for computer speakers and randomly taken to the pyramat item. After reading the near perfect reviews, I decided to splurge a little (it was the end of the exam period- i deserved a toy). This thing is pretty amazing. Here's why if you have the money to buy this, you should:
1) Comfort: this thing is better than most pieces of funtiture in your house/dorm room right now. Forget the fact it has sorround sound built in, I'm talking about the material and comfort of it. All my friends who have used it have loved the comfort.
2) Sound: amazing. the built in speakers simulate a sorround sound effect very well. However, plug in 2 [bad] external speakers (for $... at any electronics store) and get real sorround sound. Pretty amazing, awesome to use for watching or listening to anything.
3) Customer Service: My first pyramat was actually busted. I called them up, no wait, talked to somebody in managment immediatly, they sent out a new pyramat the next day and set up a paid home pickup for my busted mat. Best service I've ever encountered.
4) Just plain cool. Your headrest is a subwoofer. You are sorrounded by sound. You can't really beat that.

Drawbacks:
-The 4inch sub could be more powerful, although its right next to your head, but it still could be a little more powerful without getting too dangerous.
-These aren't Altec Lansing speakers...but for the price for everything included you shouldn't expect them (nor are they too far off from the quality of the altec's I have on my computer)

So if you're looking for a fun new addition to wherever, seriously just buy this and check it out. For the price it's probably the best, most useful toy you will have bought in a while.

Really cool product
I saw this thing at CES and I have to admit feeling is believing.I laid down on this thing and forgot where I was for about a half an hour.The bass rumbles along with your controller and the sound is all around you.It was really cool for gaming and I bought one from amazon and i love it.

Makes your games come alive
There's nothing like feeling your chest rumble as you're snipering people on Unreal Tournament.It's pretty sweet for watching DVD's too.It folds up real small so I can tuck it away when I'm not using it.Does anyone know if the tables on the Pyramat website work with this?
