5-0 out of 5 stars An okay price for the value
I have this one. The graphics were okay. I didn't say they were horrible or GREAT, I said okay! Well it is good for gba sp because of the light. It is good for the road, or trying to got to sleep. Well I hope that helped!

4-0 out of 5 stars Funny tv show, not too much of a replay value
So who the heck are The Fairly Odd Parents, and why do they have a videogame? I'll answer that in one single long winded sentence. The Fairly Odd Parents is the name of a cartoon show on Nickelodeon (comes on Fridays and Saturdays) which stars 10-year-old Timmy Turner, a boy (voiced by Tara Strong) who is `blessed' by the presence of the goofy, magical little floaty people, also referred to as Fairy Godparents, which, while sometimes assisting Timmy with his own problems, usually make things wackier then they were previously. Got it? Okay, now the shows pretty popular, and Nick has, of course, marketed the heck out of The Fairly Odd Parents, from DVD's to toys to videogames! Only this is nothing like the other Fairly Odd Parents Gameboy Advance title, Breakin Da Rules; this is a "GBA Video", which basically means it's not a game at all, more like a 45 minute DVD, only it's a cartridge. And you have to watch it on the tiny Gameboy Advance screen. And it costs $19.99 for three fifteen minute episodes. Worst of all, I sat and watched this whole thing (one episode twice, even) and it's actually really funny, so yeah. I like the TV show, but this is only three episodes, so how much is the repeat value?

5-0 out of 5 stars This thing is awesome!!!
This is Awesome!!! now you can watch cartoons on your GBAsp And GBA. If your traveling and you want to watch tv, use your gba. When i bought this thing i loved it right away. I use it a lot. some people bought that video now thing and it sucks. I mean it shows in black and white!! How STUPID!!!!! If you like spongebob, fairly oddparents and all the other cartoons i suggest you buy this for your kids they'll enjoy it. this thing helps if your traveling. buy it for your kids and they'll be happy.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Dream came true...
I just got this gameboy video, and I am VERY happy! Whenever I want to watch my favorite episode, I turn on my game boy! The picture is okay, but the color is not filled in that well(it helps to watch froma little distance). I'd give picture 8/10. Sound is also okay, but not sterio sounding. i give it a 7/10. Who needs old black and white videonow! Just one teeny tiny mistake in the manual (probably because i got the one of the first shipment of gbavideos) It says press A to make it darker and b to make it brighter...it's the other way around! Overall, i give it a 9.5/10! ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

Megaman Battle Network 3 has a few significant improvements over the past two games in the series, but the overall concept is the same. Lan solves puzzles in the "real world," while Megaman.exe fights viruses and solves puzzles on the Net. The battle system is still the same, and that isn't a bad thing--it is still the best live action battle system for any RPG on a handheld.

At this point in the story, it's been about a month since Lan and Megaman's encounter with the nefarious Net Mafia Gospel, and a new semester at school is about to start. When Lan and his classmates are invited to the seemingly innocent net battler Semi-Finals at ACDC Square, little do they know that a new, incredibly evil plan is about to be hatched!

The most exciting addition to the game, hands down, is that you can now make your own Megaman with segments of code that you gather throughout the game. Watch out, though: Do it badly, and you can get a buggy program. In addition to programming your own Megaman, you can still change Megaman's battle styles (just like in Battle Network 2). The end result is the best character creation system on a handheld.

In a homage to the Pokemon games, there is both a White and Blue version of Megaman Battle Network 3. The game is more or less the same, but there are unique cards, styles, and programs for each version--which makes trading and battling via link cable a real incentive.

In short, Megaman Battle Network 3 is one of the best RPG's for the GBA, and is appropriate for all ages. Fans of traditional Megaman games will also like the live action battles. –-Bryan Karsh

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow! I'm impressed!
At first, I was a bit skeptic of the BN series. I like all the other megaman series, but I saw megaman BN and didn't know what to think. At first it seemed to different, but while talking to other Megaman community members, they convinced me into trying it. I bought this one because it was the cheapest I could find. I was extremely impressed with the cool action sequences and good storyline. The play is really addictive. I never care for graphics, but if you really are a visomaniac, I suppose you might not like them.
In all:

replayability: 5 stars
frustration: next to none (4 stars)

5-0 out of 5 stars great
This game is so good. the only problem is that when you get closer to the end it is really hard. You might want to get a gba action replay with this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars A fun game
This game is fun and has good graphics I recomend it for people who think a lot of games are to hard. This game might be toeasy for hard core gamers but kids will enjoy it. Once you figure it out it's kind of easy but I think it's my favorite game for GBA so far. Get it if you like BK games.

5-0 out of 5 stars nice addition to the banjo-kazooie series
Well I love the original two for the N64 and when I saw all these great reviews for the game when I first read them,I decided to buy it...

and boy was it worth it!

The graphics are beautiful, the music, voices, and sound effects are what you'd expect from a banjo-kazooie game(which are good)and the gameplay is wonderful! There's races you compete in,time trials and the works, just like in the other two for the 64. I highly recomend this game for you to add to your collection, and if you loved the other two banjo-kazooie games, you're more than likely going to love this one.

1-0 out of 5 stars THIS GAME SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS BY FAR THE VERY WORST BANGO KAZOOIE GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED IN MY LIFE. BECAUSE OF THIS GAME I AM NEVER BUYING ABSOLUTELY NONE OF BANGO KAZOOIE MERCHANDISE.PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS, I BEG OF YOU. YOU WILL BE WASTING YOUR MONEY. I WOULD GIVE IT NO STARS AT ALL BUT THE LOWEST I COULD DO IS ONE STAR.

5-0 out of 5 stars Interesting
when i first got this game, i didn't know what to expect. A Banjo-Kazooie game for GBA? Surely it couldn't be that much fun. I had long been awaiting another sequal to the game. And i found out there had already been 2 made. This, and one that hasn't been released yet, called "Banjo Pilot", a racing game. This game was more fun than I had ever expected it to be. I had very impressive graphics for a hand-held console. And the plot itself was very impressive. Overall, the game was very enjoyable.

4-0 out of 5 stars IT HAS ONE FLAW!!!
I just got this game for christmas. Its great!Better graphics and better game play. You actually play in arenas and not on platforms like in Beyblade Vforce. You can also walk around in this game like Pokemon video games, but theres one flaw. You can't do multiplayer!I don't know why, but you can only play against the characters in the game and not your friends. In would give this game 5 stars if you were able to do multiplayer, but on the other hand, this is a good game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very good game by Legolas.
Those negative reviews are W-R-O-N-G WRONG! This in fact is a
G-R-E-A-T G-A-M-E GREAT GAME! There 10 levels (so I read.) in this game. The best character mustbeWindu! he's NOT my favorite character but his performance is awesone! when you kill an alien-ish dude there sort of an "ugh" sound.(I think.) what stinks is that there's no save feature BUT there's dumb pass-code feature. This might something good to bring on that 5 hour trip to summer vaction :D

3-0 out of 5 stars NO CONTROL
This game is really awesome in some ways but in other it stinks. For example: The weapons, characters and moves are sweeeeet. But you can bearly see what you are doing. The lighting is AWEFUL. This game may be fun to play for about 3 days but then the problems get in the way. This game also has almost NO CONTROL. The controls stink. Do not even think about jumping because it is impossible. Most of the game is based on jumping from platform to platform. There are little guys that stand on the platform that you can not kill from you current position so you try jumping and end up beening pushed off by them. Very Frusterating. The saving on this game is also a big issue. The game gives you codes that are like 5-15 letters long so they are really hard to write down and get correct. I was almost about to beat the game but the code I wrote down was incorrect so I LOST!!!!!!! Other than all that this game is pretty decent. Do not think I am a totally killing this game I just choose to state the problems. It just was not my favorite. So enjoy this game!

2-0 out of 5 stars Terrible Controls
First of all, I am a huge Star Wars fan. That said... This game looks like it would be a neat game and I'm sure it would...IF the play control was decent, but it's not. This has the worst play control out of every GBA game that I've played so far.Jumping is nearly impossible to do accurately. That alone makes the game far too difficult and bothersome to play.Things happen to my character all of the time. For example: I want to jump out and to an angle to jump to another platform, but the dumb thing jumps straight up and then I fall straight down into a pit.End of Life.THQ should have spent more time making the play control better or not released it at all. This game is a real disappointment.

5-0 out of 5 stars super great
this is one of the best games i ever.thelevels are very great I can play it all day long. You shold get this game today.

4-0 out of 5 stars A fun game, no matter what
I have none of the complaints with this game that were in the other reviews.I agree that some options like saving a game or auctioning a bankrupt player's properties would be nice, but they don't get in the way of game play for me.I do enjoy the ability to set as many options as I want, or to play with a variable time limit; no matter how much (or little) time I have to spare, this game is a LOT of fun to play.Seriously.Yes, this game isn't as glossy as many of the games out there, but it still is as fun as a Monopoly game ever was.If you don't care about fancy graphics but want a straightforward game, I recommend this one.

1-0 out of 5 stars A bigger problem than the "no save" option is...
... When an opponent goes bankrupt, they simply quit the game and don't pay any of their debt to the player that bankrupted them. You get a message that the player simply "resigns" from the game. When this happens all of their property reverts back to being available for sale, all of their cash disappears and the player who bankrupted them gets NOTHING! And, just to clarify, all of the CPU players resign from the game in this manner without paying any of their debt, not just the last one left in the game.

This bug means that you can spend most of your money building hotels and knock out 2 of the 3 CPU players without getting a single dollar back, only to then lose to the last player due to a relatively small rent owed.Considering the whole point of Monopoly, this is an unforgivable bug that completely ruins the game.

2-0 out of 5 stars I'M a huge monopoly fan... but I don't like this game.
I love the game monopoly but I DO NOT suggest this game!Im lucky I got the game as a present because I would really have been mad at the waste of money.
First, you can't save the game!I usually end up turning my system off because I can't save and don't want to waste the battery power.
Second, you can't really tell which spaces are yours on the board. If you want to know what spaces you own prepare to spend more time going through the game manager tool to see what you own and do not own.
The music is ok but after hours of playing the game it REALLY gets annoying! It overall has poor viewing of the board and other things such as title cards etc.

Even if you are a huge monoploy fan you shouldn't buy this game.

I bought and suggest the game "Monopoly Party" that is available for Gamecube, X box, and playstation 2. It is a lot better.

1-0 out of 5 stars Terrible product
This game is a very poor product.I always try to consider that GBA is a portable, and as such has limitations. But, there just isn't much "right" about this game.It has nice graphics and an easy to see/read screen.Problems, as others have said include not being able to save a game. Not being able to save a game of MONOPOLY???You'll really appreciate that after playing for an hour at the airport and losing your game when it's time to board! The music is like fingernails on a chalk board.Mercifully, you can turn it off and keep the game sounds.Other peeves. You can only trade and build on your own turn. When you submit a trade to a computer player, nothing happens until that players turn comes up.Then they generally seem to reject it out of hand no matter how enticing you make it.Also, when a computer player starts to do something with his property, like trade, mortgage, etc....The screen that says what he is doing goes by so fast you can't read what he just did. It's also hard to manage propertys and see others status. But that probably goes with the fact that the GBA is a portable.I probably could have lived with everything else if you just could save a game.Anyway, I don't recommend this to anyone. You'll be sorry. If you REALLY REALLY have to have one because you love Monopoly, wait a few weeks and get for $5.00 used.

3-0 out of 5 stars A good effort, but this version needed more work.
As a big Monopoly fan, I was wondering when there was going to be a version for Game Boy Advance/SP, or even the Nintendo DS. I was at first excited to hear of this release and looked forward to playing it.

Graphically, it is a huge step above the Game Boy Color version. It is similar to the PC version with the game board's slanted perspective. Although the view doesn't zoom in for a close-up look at the token and the space landed upon, the game displays the deed if it is unowned property, or text stating ownership, mortgage status and rent paid if applicable. The properties and spaces however, don't have legible words and/or property values, just scribbles, except for the four corners, and the Jail space is missing the "Just Visiting" text. The spaces are clearly identifiable though. Dice rolls are done nicely, the rolling process takes a bit too long for me, though the results are easy to see.

The tokens are rendered very nicely, and include the two tokens that were not in the Game Boy Color version: the Battleship and the Cannon; unfortunately, this version, like the GBC version still limits you to eight tokens, omitting the Horse & Rider, Wheelbarrow and Sack of Money tokens, which interestingly enough appear in the instruction booklet. Unlike the box description, the tokens don't "hop, skip and dance around the board", but they all move identically, as you would if you were moving them one space at a time on the dice roll.

The music is fairly nice, and can be toggled on or off, along with other customizable features, like starting money and properties dealt to players at start. One of the game's best features though, is the game interface. Instead of going to separate screens for trading, buying and selling houses, the selections appear right on the screen, with text on screen describing each menu button function. This results in a very streamlined interface allowing you to complete various game functions and get back in the game quickly. In game help is handy; it repeats information in the game manual and comes with a Hints and Tips section, which contains information from Monopoly.com's Strategy Wizard on winning the game.

Unfortunately, the game is not without its problems. Landing on Luxury Tax costs $100 instead of $75, landing on Income Tax always costs $200, rather than providing you with a choice of 10% or $200 (and correcting these settings in Game Options doesn't work). If a player rolls doubles to get out of jail, the game will let that player roll again, instead of the turn going to the next player. I landed on Community Chest receiving the "Advance to Go" card, on a later turn, I landed on Community Chest again and received the same card again, and no other player landed on Community Chest beforehand. When other players go bankrupt, your funds displayed for your token remain the same; no acquiring properties to unmortgage takes place and the game merely states that you win. The game manual also references as an example of a card moving you to another space, as moving you back "(for example, to Old Kent Road).", which is a space on the United Kingdom version of Monopoly. (The Help section in the game calls the space "Meditteranean Avenue").

This GBA/SP Monopoly also doesn't have a save feature as other reviewers have stated, but neither did the Game Boy Color Monopoly version, I have scoured the instruction manual and the GBC game version intensively, and it only states that you must select "Quit" and the winner is the player with the most assets, then the game can be switched off. This GBA/SP version only allows you to press start and select "Quit" and the entire game is gone, no winner, no anything.

Even with the errors and problems, the game is still nice to play, albeit slightly disappointing. If the problems mentioned were fixed and the designers had included a save game feature, (and better playtesting) this game would have been more enjoyable and a much more satisfying addition to a Monopoly fan's collection. If you're lucky enough to have the GBC version and the electronic handheld Monopoly game, it plays much better than this one. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Need for Speed Underground 2: It's Addictive
Note: Please read bottom of review before reading!

NFS Underground 2 is a very good game. It has 4 modes and 2 are good that I know of. I'll explain everything in the main menu. They are Race Now which lets you have quick race (that shouldn't make you that mad if you lose), Go Underground, in other words, the campaign, which you go to to unlock cars, upgrades, and tracks for play in the Race Now mode, Mini Games which really isn't worth doing, Garage where you work on your cars, Profile where you can look at how much of the game you completed, your personal stats, high scores, and go to options, and Multiplayer which I haven't done yet so I can't tell anything else than you do stuff with others (by linking!). There are 10 different things for upgrading and there is a section where you can change your cars looks to make it attractive. Before I end, I would like to share a few things. When you have driven over 500 miles, you get a Nissan Skyline NFS style. And the best cars are Mitshubishi Lancer EVO VIII (all-around) and Nissan Skyline (speed). If you like rock you'll love this music, if not you'll need to turn the sound off!

**WARNING**

If you do not like short games, please go find
another game!

4-0 out of 5 stars not as good as the first
this game, while having some great improvements added, is not as good as the first. Its a great game but it just isnt as addicting as the first. need for speed underground 1 is still the best racing game for the gba in my opinion although its not as advanced as this. However it is still a very good game, although somewhat short.

When I got this game, I found that it was pretty much the same as Underground 1, except the graphics were a bit different. But as I got farther on, I noticed new things. The drags are much more involved this time, with jumps and traffic. The drift is the same. The circuit levels get better as you go. There are 3 parts of circuit racing. Part one of Circuit takes place in the outskirts of the city, part 2 takes place in twilight on the outskirts, and part3 takes place at night in the dead of the city. The levels that are the best to play are Financial, Docks, and Freeway. In this game, you don't get money when you win, you get points, which are the same as money. The cars are the same, but the twist is that when you win a certain number of races, you get one of the cars again, but his time it's already pimped out for you. Say you have a regular Skyline. If you win a certain amount of races, you get another Skyline that's pimped out EA GAMES style. The parts for the cars are better, too. There's neon lights to put under the car this time. The game is pretty good. I've had it for 2 days and I'm already 86% done with it. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars This is a joke...
But oh well, I guess if you are an actual gamer you won't even be checking this one, so it doesn't matter.

5-0 out of 5 stars If GBA Had Game IdolIt would win :P
This game was the first GBA game i ever played. From the second i turned it on i loved it.
The game involved pressing A and B buttons when it tells you to the rhythm of you chosen song and then you are judged on your performance by a pannel of judges, including Simon Cowell. This game is absolutely brilliant and never seems to get boring.
If you love music you'll love this game which will have you singing along. Although it may sound simple it is challenging while being very fun and takes some getting used to.
Even though they have not brought this game out where i live (Australia FYI)I am trying to get a friend overseas to send it to me because it is so brilliant.
Don't hesistate to buy this game if you think it will be your thing, it will have you entertained for hours!

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun!
American Idol is a fun game that's easy to pick on and has a bit of a challenge. The object of the game is to tap either the "A" or "B" button when the cursor gets to the button icon. It's much like Frequency and Amplitude for the PS2. There are 3 types of modes; Competition, Rehearsal, and Endurance. Competition is where you work your way up to becoming the next American Idol. Rehearsal lets you practice you skills before moving on to the competition. Endurance is where you perform as many songs as you can but you must raise the charisma meter up to the designated area to move on to the next song. There are about 20 songs in all from various artists including Ricky Martin, The Monkeys, and even Elvis Presley. The only downside to this game is that instead of saving, you have to type in a password instead. Games like this annoy the crap out of me but this game is still fun, especially for the American Idol fans.

5-0 out of 5 stars WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS...
How much I love this game and it's very exciting to play. I have only made it to the 6th round but after I finish the 6th round my singer is told by Simon that he/she ain't good enough and is voted out.Other times when my singer sings a song like Enrique Iglesias Escape and sings it real nice he/she is told by Paula "That Was Real Good Now Stop Being Nervous Okay".Now my singer wasn't being nervous at all and kept performing in the next round. The hardest songs to sing are Genie in a Bottle Ricky Martin's Livin La Vida Loca but i always sing Genie in a bottle when I play. Now my fave part of the game is the endurance round and ever since i got it I play that round first.,
Many thanks to my aunt who started me on my AI obsession and told me all about American Idol.I hope that you'll enjoy this game as much as I do,
Thank you for reading,
Signed Dasani {IDOL FAN 4EVER}

3-0 out of 5 stars Fun but frustrating
My son received this game for Christmas. He is stuck at the flat top tunnel and cannot go to the next level which makes it very frustrating.I have even tried to and am having difficulties.I really like the game because it's not violent and interesting.Unfortunately my son has lost interest because you can only ski on top of a train for so long.

5-0 out of 5 stars This is the best game in the World!
i have just completed every level of this game- it was auwsome! you feel like you are in this game while playing it- the graphics really bring out the game's magic! though it was sometimes hard; i managed to do all the levels at a pretty steady pace. this game has kept me occupied for hours. i play it on my nintendo DS. 2-0 out of 5 stars Good for only one reason
I don't think the game is good at all. There is, however, a reason to get this game. It comes with DD Assailant, one of the most sought after cards in the game. But I honestly don't think that you should waste $20+ for 1 card.

5-0 out of 5 stars It's Ok
I have this game. Well... This yugioh game is ok,but it's really not about cards, only the same charactors with dice.
This is just like the dungon dice game on the same system.
If you want a video game about cards, get reshef of distruction.

2-0 out of 5 stars Well, it's not a work of art...
How true. It's not the funnest game in the world, but it is worth a few moments of your time.

I don't recommend it if your not a Yu-Gi-Oh fan.

If you are a Yu-Gi-Oh fan, perhaps your familiar with the episode where we first meet Duke Devlin. They play a little game called Dungeon Dice Monsters.
If you found that interesting, then definitely buy this game b/c it's pretty much a recreation of this.

1-0 out of 5 stars this game sucks
This game is soooooo bad.All you do is pick a character and go on a game board. You roll the die to try to summon a monster, but YOU NEVER CAN!Overall, this game is horrible and I do not recommend it for anyone.

1-0 out of 5 stars Snore War
Oyyoyoyoi, konami's at it again, making another cruddy Yu-gi-oh game!It is basically characters from the tv show fighting to summon x ammount of monsters. No trap or magic cards, either.I would rather kill myself than to continue playing this reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealy bad game. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for all ages
This game is great no matter how old or young you may be! This is the first game that my 4 year old didn't become disgusted with in mere seconds - although he did need help reading the riddles in the Riddle Round-up. I even became addicted myself with the Match Attack. My 6 year old enjoys the game as well - we ran down his battery playing it the very first day!

My only complaint is that the "target" needs to be slightly more sensitive when doing the Riddle Round-up - especially when hunting for tiny items.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun for parents who can't handle the hard kid games!
I bought this for myself. At 33 I've never mastered the multi tasking of complex video games. I enjoyed this game, almost to the point of it relaxed me (like knitting-just kidding). But, I must say, I did beat the game quicker than I thought. I've topped out already, it needs to be just a bit harder. I'd say this game is better for the younger kids, or for adults. BUT NOT TEENAGERS!

1-0 out of 5 stars Time allowed for returns to be credited to account
I am hoping that I get my credit to my account before much longer.
when I placed the order it stated it was a video game, not a game boy game.
I returned it 1 week after I received it for full credit to my account less shipping charges.this was on July 18,2003, certified mail.
to day I have heard nothing.
I would like to give the supplier a good report on the promptmess of shipping out my order, but will have to wait and see.(I can not rate this game as my granddaughter does not have a game boy. I had to put something in the spot)
thanks

5-0 out of 5 stars FOR THE SPY IN YOU

5-0 out of 5 stars Maddening yet fun. Does that make sense?
I remember playing this game years upon years ago and still cant believe i beat it while i was about 8 years old. Yikes!

This classic, which spawned tons of great Castlevania games which are still going strong, is intensely difficult and had me on the verge of throwing my Gameboy at the wall more than once.

The first level of this game is extremely easy and gets you into the feel of the game. However, levels 2-5 are extremely hard. From the first time you fight the flying medusa heads or jumping igors you will loathe them and probably have nightmares of them knocking you into pits.

Later in the game you are only allowed 4 hits total before you meet your maker while some of the bosses, like the grim reaper, need about 20 hits to take em down. Not to mention just about every 'jump' you have to make in this game is surrounded by annoying enemies ready to knock you into a sudden death plummet.

Still, this game does bring back fond memories of the fun yet frustrating game. Now we just need them to bring back Castlevania I and II for the Gameboy...

5-0 out of 5 stars Simon Belmont the vampire slayer is back
Castlevania along with its follow ups CV II simons quest and CV III draculas curse for the NES, even super castlevania IV for the SNES is great. You are Simon Belmont, its you and your trusty whip as you head off To slay Dracula and save the town of Transilvania. But many monsters such as giant bats, Frankentstein, Medusa, Even the Grim Reaper, are out to stop you. And man the Grim Reaper is totally a pain in the ass. You get additional weapons such as axes, knives, holy water, boomerangs, all that good stuff. This game is insanly difficult but it is always fun to play none the less. Its fun to whip your way through levels like a pro only this time you can do it on road trips, on the airplane, even in your own bathroom! This classic old school is definently worth lashing out 20$ unlike some of the other titles in the classic nes series. If you are sick of the later Castlevania games and wish you could have a simple point A to point B sort of game with unbelievebly difficulties as you make your way through castlevania, this game is for you. If you never played an old school cv game or any cv game what so ever, get this now and experiance what its like to be the vampire slayer...all on your gba. Oh, and if you loved this, go out and buy a super nintendo and get Super Castlevania IV! BEST CASTLEVANIA EVER!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Classic Game
I have never played this game for the NES but now I have eventually played this game for the 1st time. and incase people didn't know Konami also Released a CastleVania Game not only for the SNES, N64, Game Boy Advance, They also did some games for the Playstation and the Playstation2.

P.S. I also think that Castlevainia reminds me of watching the Monster films, Frankenstein, The Mummy, and Dracula Starring Christapher Lee (Lord of the Rings).

5-0 out of 5 stars Castlevania....
First thing you have to ask yourself before buying any of the Classic NES titles, is it worth it for this Classic NES title? Depends on your love for that particular series. For me, personally, there are very few in the Classic NES series that I feel is worthy of its' price. Castlevania is, at least to me. What I love most about this port of the classicis how challenging this game is. I'll agree with another reviewer in that only the truly hardcore, diehard gamer will probably finish this game. It's that challenging but well worth it.Do I recommend it? Definitely. Course, if you're looking for another Symphony of the Night, you're not going to find it here. However, it doesn't mean it isn't a great game. If you want to see where the series all began, this is the one to get.

Hopefully, Nintendo & Konami will rerelease Simon's Quest and Dracula's Curse in the Classic NES series, too. Those are classics worth owning as well.

4-0 out of 5 stars A classic gets new life
Castlevania (1987.) The first game in the classic series.

Over the years, Konami has become one of the best-known video gaming third party corporations out there - for a number of reasons. But, their most popular series of all would have to be the vampire-killing franchise, Castlevania. Konami released the first installment of the series on Japanese consoles in 1986. The American arcade game got its release the same year. And the following year, 1987, the game reached American consoles. In 2004 the game got a Game Boy Advance rerelease in the Classic NES series of games! Read on for my review of Castlevania - the first game in a now-legendary franchise.

PROS:
-FOR ITS DAY AND AGE, THESE WERE SOME OF THE BEST VIDEO GAME GRAPHICS OUT THERE. The on-screen graphics move along at a pretty decent pace, and slow-down is very minimal. As far as the NES in the eighties goes, the graphics didn't get a whole lot better than this.
-PLAY CONTROL IS SIMPLE AND TO THE POINT. Basically you move, crouch, jump, attack, and attack with a secondary weapon. This was one of the first video games to feature a secondary weapon - a video gaming feature which has since been copied countless times.
-IT'S CHALLENGING. If you're a fan of side-scrolling platformers and you're looking for a good challenge, this game will give you the best of both worlds!
-FINALLY, THE GAME HAS A SAVE FEATURE! A lack of this feature caused me to give the original game only three stars, but now that it's here, I'm obligated to give a four-star rating.

CONS:
-PLAY CONTROL CAN SEEM VERY STIFF AT TIMES. Your character has no midair jump control whatsoever, which can make life a living hell. Also, having to hold up on the control pad to use a secondary weapon can be a pain (why didn't Nintendo change it so that you could use one of the GBA's shoulder buttons for this?) And let's not forget about scaling flights of stairs - that's where the control is at its worse.
-THIS GAME IS MORE OF A CHALLENGE THAN THE AVERAGE GAMER WILL WANT. I know, there are some die-hard gamers out there that live for a good challenge - but I bet this game will be too difficult even for them.

OVERALL:
Overall this is a very good game for being the first entry in the series, but in comparison to later games in the series it just isn't that great. The NES follow-ups, Simon's Quest and Dracula's Curse, are WAY better (even if Simon's Quest is a drastically different game - THOSE two, the latter in particular, need a Classic NES rerelease as well.) Still, if you're a sucker for eight-bit side-scrollers, you can't go wrong with this game.

2-0 out of 5 stars Ok but not good graphics
The game is fun but the graphics are lame compared to the nintendo ds. It is also priced high for its bad graphics

5-0 out of 5 stars OFF DA HOOK !!!
i THOUGHT THAT THIS GAME WAS COOL. YOU PICK YOUR ROSTERS AND YOUR PLAYERS.THE BEST PART IS PLAYING THE GAME, YOU TRY IT. THANKS FOR THE SHOUT OUT TOYSRUS.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not woth the money
Although the Madden games are great for the other consoles, the GameBoy Advance version is terrible.I realize that I can't expect as much from the GameBoy version as I do the other versions, but this was a great disappointment.

First, the graphics are horrible.I've played Zelda and the Mario Bros games, which show the potential that the GameBoy Advance has, but this game falls far short. Its so bad, that I can barely tell what is going on while I play.

Second, the gameplay is extremely choppy. When I am running the ball, it seems as though I skip over sections of the field at times. It is also very difficult to tell where the ball is when all the players get jumbled together making it difficult on defense to tackle the person with the ball.

Overall, I think that the GameBoy Advance screen is to small to support a game like this. The graphics are bad, making it hard to tell what is going on and therefore difficult to play.Spend your money on the classics like Zelda, Metroid, and Mario Bros. Those games seem to work better with this smaller console. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Barbie Groovy Games
Barbie Groovy Games is a very entertaining game, but it gets boring after a while.First of all, I would have to say that this game is centered on young girls, as do most Barbie games. The graphics definitely present a girly theme. But, this is not your average Barbie game. There is no designing of Barbie's wardrobe invovlved. This is not another poor excuse for an action game where you have to manuver Barbie around with limited skills to use. This is a collection of fun mini-games to play by yourself or with a friend.
Many of the mini-games teach girls problem-solving and logic skills, which is very good. But, be aware that this is not a game that will have you hooked for months. It is just a fun little game to play with a friend.Listen to the words a friend. If you have more than one friend over your house this game will not be a good choice because only two people can play at once.I have summarized my review in the following list of pros and cons.

Pros:

It is one of the few games centered toward young girls.
It is more fun than the average Barbie game.
It teaches girls problem-solving and logic skills.
It is pretty entertaining, sometimes even to older girls.

Cons:

Boys will probably not want to even go near it, never mind play it.
It gets boring after a while.
It is not good if you have more than one friend over.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very entertaining and exciting for a 4-year old
We received this game yesterday and my 4-year old was a little frustrated at first because there are so many games, but once we maneuvered through it together, she easily got the hang of it and is already playing all of the games. She gets very excited when she "wins" and I think this game would be just as entertaining for an older girl as well. Having nine games, they can move onto another when they get bored with or master one. Great game, and at this price would make a great inexpensive gift!

4-0 out of 5 stars Good one for the younger kids. . .
My 6 year old daughter loves to play it.The only problem is that my 3 year old son is constantly trying to borrow it from her!!Great games and easy to play.Highly recommend for the 8 yrs. and under crowd.

4-0 out of 5 stars Really Easy Game for Young Girls
I bought this for my niece for her birthday. She loved it. I checked with her yesterday and she still loves it. Her mom says that it is an easy game for young girls that has longer gameplay than most. It is similar to the Mario Party game series; but with cute graphics and Barbie. I thing it was a good purchase. Great price too.

5-0 out of 5 stars My 6 year old daughter loves it!
The variety of fun games keeps her interested when we're on long trips. The graphics are nice and she likes to be able to play against Barbie and her friends. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great, fun game
This game is awesome. I probably play it most often out of all my games (which includes other consoles).

Fun: 8.5-9. Gundam Seed is a great game, whether you like the show or not. The fighting in the game seems very SNK-like (which is good).

Graphics: 8.5. Very nice graphics. The backgrounds are always clear and never interfere with gameplay.

Sound/Music: 9.5. Sound effects are good, and the music is great.

Control: 9. The controls are almost natural. It takes a minute (or less) to learn how to play in Automatic, and maybe 5 minutes to learn Manual controls.

Replay Value: 10+. This isn't one of those games where you beat it and then think,

5-0 out of 5 stars Pow! Bam! Take that! Ka-blam! Yes! Die! Now to level 2.
This game is awesome... This game's awesome! I love Bomberman! The main game is to lay down bombs and destroys enemies and stuff. It's hard(be prepared to scream at some levels), but it's fun. When a bomb explodes it goes in 4 directions(+). You need to steer clear(one hit k.o.) or you're toast! There's 80 levels divided up into 5 worlds. Each level has it's own mission(get the Karabon* from the teleporter, destroy all enemies, collect all Karabon food, etc). *Karabons are cute Pokemon-type creatures that you can collect, breed, train, and battle. There are 2 Bomberman games for GBA(excluding B-man Tournament), this one and Bomberman Max 2: Red Advance(starring Max!). If you link both of the games up you can unlock 20 levels! There's a single-pack 2 player game that's fun, but the main game is the heart of this game pack. With plenty of levels, great 2 player features, the super-cool Karabons, awesome mini games, and more, there's no reason not to pick this game up!

1-0 out of 5 stars bad
this game is supposed to be about dueling, that is what yugioh is about.in this game you barely duel, because after you beat a person they go away untill you turn off your gba and then turn it back on,so you do not have alot of people to deul. But it does have good graphics.

3-0 out of 5 stars Yu-Gi-Oh - The Sacred Cards GBA
This game is pretty much easy for me anyway because I could beat this game every day and win the entire game with in 3 HOURS with the help of 1 extra item and its called the GAME SHARK its a machine its not a game that allows you to beat any VIDEO Game Depending on the game system for example the Game Shark for GAME BOY ADAVNCE it will only work on GAMEBOY ADVANCE games and the SP system as well when you use the GAME SHARK on The Sacred Cards you don't need to use very low attack power and Defense power u could win any body with in 1-6 turns
bacause you get the following:

DECK CAPACIRTY : 9,999
DUELIST LEVEL : 9,999
MONEY/DOMINO : 999999 well something like that but its 9's.

And you can automatically use HIGH ATTACK POWER like DARK ELF with an attack strength of 2000 DEF 0800 very high. Well I will talk back A.S.A.P on another GAME REVIEW.

p.s the strongest SACRED CARDS DECK 00-40 cards :

x1 - Summoned Skull ATK 2500 DEF 1200
x1 - Dark Hole (Magic Card)
x1 - Raigeki ( Magic Card )
x1 - Swords Of Revealing Light ( Magic Card )
x1 - La Jinn The Mystical Genie Of The Lamp ATK 1800 DEF 1000
x3 - 7 Colored Fish ATK 1800 DEF 0800
x3 - Giant Red Seasnake ATK 1800 DEF 0800
x2 - The Bistro Butcher ATK 1800 DEF 1000
x3 - Gemini Elf ATK 1900 DEF 0900
x2 - Dark Elf ATK 2000 DEF 0800
x1 - Invisible Wire ( Trap Card )
x3 - Acid Trap Hole ( Trap Card )
x1 - Insect Queen ATK 2200 DEF 2400
x1 - Pot Of Greed ( Magic Card )
x3 - Flash Assailant ATK 2000 DEF 2000
x1 - Dark Zebra ATK 1800 DEF 0400
x3 - Boar Solider ATK 2000 DEF 0500
x1 - Vorse Raider ATK 1900 DEF 1200
x2 - Harpie's Brother ATK 1800 DEF 0600
x2 - Thunder Nyan Nyan ATK 1900 DEF 0800
x1 - Nuvia The Wiced ATK 2000 DEF 0800
x1 - OBELISK THE TORMENTOR ATK 4000 DEF 4000
x1 - SLIFER THE SKY DRAGON ATK X000 DEF X000
x1 - Blue-Eyes Ultiamate Dragon ATK 4500 DEF 3800

TOTAL NUMBER OF CARDS 40

DECK CAPACITY 8,646 out of 10,304

when you see ur DECK CAPACITY 0000 of 9999 you will have to DUEL many more people inorder to raise the number HIGHER.

OK DUEL MONSTER FANS BYE!

5-0 out of 5 stars GR8......but short!
I played this game and found that it was SUPERB,the characters are cool and the battle with marik is also a little hard.Fans of yugioh!,im not saying its A MUST HAVE,but still buy this game.

I finished this game in 10 hrs.Its toooooo short.i came to the museum part in no time.it's also a bit educational.

once you get some great card passwords u can finish this game at no time at all!

also, don't buy this game if you dont know:

what yugioh! is,

you don't know how to duel,

and if you've only HEARD of it and not even know a single character.

i gave this gome to a friend of mine and he didnt know a thing a bout yugioh!.The next day he came and gave me the cartridge as if it was poisonous or somethin' AND HE DID'NT LIKE IT AT ALL.and then he started hating yugioh!.until he went to the site and knew how to play;-D

3-0 out of 5 stars Very flawed
So I bought this game knowing nothing about Yu-gi-oh. The rules are supposed to be complicated but reading manuals is boring too. So I just played. From the first fight I won every time because it's completely trivial. There's no strategy - choosing what to do is a completely mechanical process. In fact, that's probably why the rules are what they are, dumbed down enough so some incompetent programmer could implement a mindless AI to play them.

Between duels there's an RPG, of sorts. It works like this. Talk to lots of people. Once you've talked to the right person (you're rarely told when this happens) a change of state in the game happens (like a new area becomes available). That's it. You just have to go round every location talking to everyone until something changes. And then you have to go round talking to everyone again until the next change happens. Eventually an important change happens: you can enter the finals.

And now it changes. Suddenly the opponents have decent cards and it becomes challenging to win. In fact, it's downright impossible. And just to rub it in, at this point the save game feature is taken away from you. How mean is that? They let you think the game is trivial until the end where the game mercilessly kills you. But there's an easy way to deal with this. You Go back to your last game save and reload. Now you just have to pick one character, like Rex Raptor, and play against him over and over and over and over and over again until you get enough capacity points to be able to use powerful cards. This is probably the dumbest aspect of the game. You can have the best cards in the universe in your 'trunk' but you can't use them until you've played duels agains piddly weaklings over and over again enough times for you to have a chance in the finals.

Having said that, when you do get your deck vaguely powerful the finals are kinda interesting. Suddenly there seems to be a little bit of strategy. Unfortunately I can't quite finish the very last battle because the opponent has cards way more powerful than your own. Oh well, it's back to playing Rex again and again and again and again and again... ... Read more
