4-0 out of 5 stars Its Dis-tastic
this game is awsome. You can play as 5 of your favorite disney characters. With Three awsome modes

challenge cup
exhibition
practice
This also has 14 great! power-ups to help you out, and there you have it tune in for the next inside disney with almore cato.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very Good GBA Football game
Even as an adult, I like this little game. With Madden 2004, the players are too small (as there are 11 on each side). This game only has 5 players on each side. You can see the holes to run through better. Also, you can actually have a running game with this game.Plus, for the kids or if you just want to add fun, you can add the magic and mines options to spice up the game.I much prefer it over Madden 2004.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Great Game
Even though I didn't like the disney characther for this game, it was still a great game.Any children would have a blast with this great football game made by Konami.

4-0 out of 5 stars Well...
Well... It's not to what is expected of football (BACKYARD FOOTBALL GBA written all over it!) Passing is tougher, running you can use greatly, and WORST OF ALL! THIS GAME looks just like BYFB, WHAT WAS THEY TINKIN' YO? Dis ain't good "uh tall"!!! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A trend setting classic
I remember Xevious well. It was an excellent arcade shooter, and an innovative title which spurred literally hundreds of derivative games. It was the first vertically scrolling shooter, the first shooter with "boss stages", and the first to combine both air-to-air and air-to-ground gameplay. The NES version of this game was one of the best ports around (though I still have a soft spot for the Atari 7800 version) and was as true to the arcade as could be expected. Which brings me to my only criticism of the Game Boy Advance version - why emulate the NES port, when the GBA is clearly powerful enough to emulate the original arcade title? As an emulation, this game is dead on, but the audio-vidual presentation of the arcade original was just a bit better. If you loved the NES port, then by all means pick this one up. Even after all these years, it is still a fun and challenging game that makes you work for every inch of ground you cover. But if you're looking to relive the excitement of the arcade original, you should try before you buy.

BTW, one nice bonus feature of the GBA cart - you can save your high score!

2-0 out of 5 stars Hardly Worth It
Xevious may have been good for its time but it is hardly a classic NES game.In fact, it debuted on the Arcade in 1982.A game to be remembered? Not really. Until the "Classic NES Series" I never heard of it before.

For its time I suppose this was innovative. The level scrolls along as your in your jet taking down enemies and you can use bombs to bomb ground based enemies. This would've been a really popular Arcade Game but as a port, especially to the GBA, it isn't that great.

The game scrolls along and pauses every now and then to cue the introduction of a boss but since there are no really special weapons or abilities I can't entirely recommend it.

The graphics and sound are standard 8-bit quality and I must say the port from the NES to the GBA was done perfectly. The sound is no different but is this game worthwhile for the "Classic NES Series", let alone 20 bucks? No, it isn't worth it. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Puyo pop
Puyo pop is an awesome game that not only kids will like but adults as well.I got my parents hooked on this game and they love it.

This is a tetris type puzzle game is fun and simple.it is the type of game you play for hours and lose track of time. I would reccomend this game to people of all ages. if your looking for a great puzzle game you've found it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Puyo Puyo!
This is a great version of the Puyo Puyo series on a portable system.Having played this game on the Nintendo and Super Nintendo, it is great to see that this series has reached American shores under the Puyo name. This is my favorite puzzle game of all time, it is quirky and very addictive. This installment adds more obstacles and innovations in gameplay.
I guess I'm a little disappointed that the Puyos (the little slime things that fall down the screen) don't have visible eyes, as that added to the quirky factor, but oh well, that would be impossible to do on a GBA.
THQ has discontinued this game, so grab it while you can.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game
This was a great buy for my 7 year old.Great for long plane rides.Easy to maneuver & play.Very addictive.

5-0 out of 5 stars odd at first , but addicting
I just bought this game (along with 5 others, ugh) and this has become one of the immediate favorites for my 6 year old. (Tying with Pokemon Puzzle Challenge).First of all I changed the difficulty level to EASY, saving NORMAL and DIFFICULT for much later. There are 6 (or 7?) levels and you have to win your way up to them.Thankfully the game automatically saves itself, no passwords or silly things to write down. You play against the game opponent to match falling balls up, sort of like Tetris, but you can attack your opponents side by getting 4 to match. You can be neurotic and try to plan ahead with your colors, or just kind of guess where the best place is to land the balls. We managed to get to the second to last level after 2 days, which greatly reduced the frustration factor and kept it fun. There are also different options on playing, without an opponent, making the balls come faster/slower. Its really a neat game and will get used for those quick game fixes. The only thing that I thought could have been improved is the farther you get in the game, the more variety in balls there are, and sometimes they look alike when they aren't, like the blue and green, but that in no way is a reason not to buy it.We just got the new Gameboy light that they are raving about on this site, and maybe that will improve the view. For those of you who can't handle the fighting, side scrolling, dying 10 times a level type games, I would recommend this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Looks like another Tetris clone?THINK AGAIN!
Ok, honestly I'm not into any puzzle games at all-I used to play few puzzles games now and then, however, bottom line is that I just can't get into them.Well, one day, one of my Japanese friends, bought a GameBoyAdvance with Puyo Pop.I was bit thrown off because I told him few of excellent games such as Castlevania, Advance War, Super Mario he can experience and yet he bought this Puyo WHAT??Then he went on to tell me that it was so popular in Japan among guys and girls when he was in high school or something, so I decided to give it a try.And the result?Very Addictive.

The very core of this addictively fascinating game is this "Chain Combo" system where you have to think carefully before you place your falling pieces. You see, the thing with tetris is that you don't really have to think about how you would build your blocks and eliminate them, just keep on stack them and eliminate them whenever you have the right piece (unless you are after big scoring). However, PuyoPop forces you to think before you lay that slowly falling piece if you are going after chain combo, while being able to see what color pieces will be coming next.Of course, this game can be played as tetris, where you just stack them in group of four and eliminate them. However, the real fun comes when and only you play to build this chain combo, and trust me, you will have to think hard (ok, at least for me). I bought GBA Link to play with my friend, and trust me, and trust me, there's nothing like this (and man, I can't believe I'm 28..feel like I'm in jr. high again..)

The story mode wasn't that convincing, not at all, but it's better than nothing..yet I believe that this kind of corny story line might be perfect for kids, who know how to appreciate them (in fact, this corny story line might be just perfect for this kind of game..). I can just picture two people, dad and daughter, friends, brothers, sisters, and even lovers.. the possibility is endless...Don't miss this what could be the best multi-player game of all time and experience what the fuss is all about. Ok, I better go and practice to take him down with chain-combo attack!! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Very short, but not linear either.
My first time through it was only 3-and-a-half hours later! But to add depth, you search through a maze of rooms to find 3 missing pieces to the door. Enemies aren't smart and are quite stupid. Bosses are slow and easy to beat. I recommend something else.

1-0 out of 5 stars Monsters,Inc.
This game has no instructions in box, this is a new game factory sealed. Very unhappy with purchase.I had trust in toy's r us.
This game would have been better with the instructions that come in all new games.

4-0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money
I bought this game for my 5 year old daughter who loved the movie. She won't play this on her gameboy at all. She plays with her sister's Nemo game. Don't waste your money.

4-0 out of 5 stars Monsters Inc
This game is great for the first few weeks but then it gets hard . It has great graphis and is just like the movie. I recamend you to buy it.

1-0 out of 5 stars This game stincks
This game is so boaring and stupid. All you do is run around and find puzzle pieces to "boos door".I gave up on it after the first level. It also takes no skill at all.If you can push buttons then you can beat the game in no time at all. Amazon.com Review

Dodge ball, the schoolyard sport in which kids bean each other withrubber balls thrown at welt-raising velocity, really is the sport of bullies.Thankfully, Super Dodge Ball Advance presents an experience in which thewelts aren't included, while lots of fun and laughs are.

The game features two teams of squat, cartoonish, big-headed kids. Some are onthe playing field and some reside in the back zone ready to scoot up a lob andnail an opponent in the back or from the side. The animations, particularly whena kid gets squashed, are amusing, and, after all, are also the point of thegame. Amass points and win the match, then move on to the next horde ofbig-headed kids.

There are several kinds of throws you can make to surprise your opponents, including a cool corkscrew throw and a straight-up overhanded bean ball. As youknock teams out (no pun intended), you advance toward the world competition(shades of South Park here), where you represent your favorite nation. You can also link up with an opponent for a little head-to-head action, which isthe best way to dish out some virtual pain onto local bullies who lack your madvideo gaming skills. --Andrew S. Bub

Pros:

  • It's virtual dodge ball! What's not to like?
  • It's one of the first sports games for the GBA
  • The graphics are perfect and the action is fast
Cons:
  • The sound is a little grating

4-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Game
Super Dodge Ball Advanced is a great game.In my opinion, its got lots of replay value.Sure, you can beat it in a half hour or less, but its a sports game, so you can keep playing. The graphics are average, but how good graphics do you need to play a dodge ball game anyway. The music is alright, but a little repetitive. The game can be either really hard or really easy and anything in between with the five difficulty settings and other settings too such as, how tough it is to throw a super throw. You can link up, but I never have so I couldn't tell you how fun that is.To sum it up here is a list of pros and cons.
PROS-
1. Good replay value
2. Multiple diffuclty settings
3. Average graphics
4. Appropriate for all ages, but then again, what isn't
5. Its dodgeball
6. Game Link compatible
7. You can name characters and teams even not your own
CONS-
1. Repetative music
2. Unlike the NES game, there isn't a bean ball mode(mode that pits you individually against your teammates on a field)
3. Also unlike the classic, there aren't any River City Ransom Graphics, instead people don't even have noses. If you never played River City Ransom, the old dodgeball game or World Cup just forget that con
4. There is no team creator, which really, really sucks. That also ruins the whole point of versus mode too because you both have the same premade teams with just possible name differences.
5. Too short of a game, needs more teams or something.

3-0 out of 5 stars Fun but shallow
This game is a blast but I must say its extremly shawdow.Fans of the old dodge ball game from an older nintendo system will probly love this game, I did but then I unlocked everything in a hour or so, sure there is more matches to play but its just a bunch of the same, I wore this game out in a day or two which is a shame because its a great game...just not enough substance.Get it if you pay $$$ or less definatly, think about it strongly otherwise.

3-0 out of 5 stars Fun at first, gets old
This Game has a lot of the same characteristics of the original for the Super NES, which will make older gamers happy. But the game play doesn't change enough for my taste.Even the indroduction of new, more powerful teams didn't peak my excitement. In my view, it's worth renting, but because a good gamer could beat it in a half hour, it's not worth buying.

Wow a handheld version of the 80's nintendo sports game Super Dodge Ball i picked this game up and had a lot of fun very similar to the original NES platform version. As far as this being set in the near future this concept isnt anything new it was a sleeper game on NES and one of my favorites. Pick this game up for a good game for any age and if your not a sports fan, well why not get this one i mean hey who didnt have fun playing dodgeball at school? *cough*billgates*cough* ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Shaman King
I got this game a little after Christmas what happened was I got grand theft auto advance and to be blunt it sucked hard. So I took it to eb games to trade it in and guess what game I got. That's right I gotthis game I fell in love with soon after I got it wich was five minutes. The game is fun and semi addictive.
It took me about a week to beat one file in normal mode. An I beat the game in hard mode in about a week or two. But overall the game is worth it even though sometimes it willllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll tick you off.

5-0 out of 5 stars a must buy for sk fans and sj fans!
This game is absolutley brilliant i love it there are 54 levels in total it is difficult but fun you can use a bunch of spirits like bason lee bai long and much more this is the kind of game that you want to get if your looking for a long chalenging game especially for those manga readers id have to say i am the frickn biggest sk fan in the world so you might need a guide particulary the prima one so even if you dont read the manga buy this you wont regret it i would give this 1 million stars if i could!

4-0 out of 5 stars A Fun, Challenging game
When I first saw this game, the first thing that popped in the back of my mind (after reading the back) was that this looked a lot like Castlevania, only with a younger twist. After playing it I came to the conclusion that this game uses the Shaman King Licence, but is and amalgamation of Castlevania 2 Simons Quest (NES) and Castlevania Aria of Sorrow (GBA).

The story here is that a Villian named Magister has appeared and is tryign to ressurect a dead Shaman King so he can destroy the Shamans. As Yoh Asakura you travel around the country tryng to gather pages from a mystical book to stop him.Armed with your sword and Spirit Guardian Amidamaru you take on this dreadful challenge. The game play is for the most part go from one end of the level to the other ala Simons Quest.Where Aria of Sorrow comes in is that you collect souls to grow stronger, and the movements are much more in tune with current Castlevania.

There are problems with the game however.
1: despite all there is, the game is short (first time through, took me roughly 4 hours).
2: Difficulty is way to high. You do good amounts of damage to your foes, but they do even more to you.Expect a lot of kicking the bucket, even as a seasoned vetren.
3: The monsters in the game are very simmilar.Essentially there are lots of enemies, but most of them look the same, and when you encounter something different, it goes through and kills you (Golem anyone).

Despite the flaws the game is good.I definetly recomend it to anyone, especially if you need something to carry you over until the Next Castlevania hits on the Nintendo DS.Be warned though that the game is merciless, but fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars I keep going back to this game!
I bought this game with my gba sp... and everytime I go to play one of my other gba games, I keep going back to this one. Its really fun to play and I guess it adds that I'm a fan of the Show X3

It has NICE graphics for a gameboy game and the music is alright.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic! ^_^
I'm generally more of a Yu-Gi-Oh fan, but this game... is addicting. Not only did I buy it on sight when I found out about it, it actually took over my obsession with trying to beat YGO: Reshef Of Destruction. Trust me, that was extremely hard to do. It's very challenging (for me, at least. I'm still fairly new to playing video games) since there are so many different people and creatures to fight, and the traps are always a rude awakening if you haven't already been there and died. ^_^() Basically, it's all a trial-and-error thing, seeing what works best in that particular situation. But that's all I'm saying there ^_~ You'll have to figure the rest out for yourself. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Dinosaur Fun
I bought this for my nephew for Christmas and he loved the game. As said before the graphic are great and this gams is wonderful for kids who love Dinotopia.

4-0 out of 5 stars I LOVE IT!
I bought this game 3 days a go, and I am very happy with it.The graphics are outstanding and I have to say the same for the music! I can't put it down it is soooooooooo great.I have books, toys, tapes and now the game from Dinotopia.
I LOVE DINOTOPIA!

5-0 out of 5 stars we love dinotopia!!!!
i bought this for my daughter for christmas and she loved it.so did i.i took it to work with me one day and my coworker got hooked on it.the graphics are great.the music was outstanding!i think i played just to hear the music...lol.it was a lot of fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love this game
I bought this game for my son for Christmas. He loves Dino's so I thought this was perfect. Some of the levels are hard due to repeated action with the buttons. But overall it's a really great game. I am 34 and loved this game as much as my 7 yr old. I would reccomend this game to any GBA owner.

3-0 out of 5 stars Concerned about repetitive motion injuries!!
I bought this game for my nine-year-old son and he loves it.The graphics are outstanding. The game play is creative and varied, and generally a lot of fun; and the music is better than any I've yet heard coming out of a GBA game.

BUT...

My concern with this game, (and the only reason I've given it 3 rather than 5 stars), is that some of the levels require repeated, very fast pressing of the same button continuously in order to pass the level... The faster you repeatedly press the A button the faster you go, and if you don't go fast enough, you lose... and when you aren't needing to go fast enough to keep up, speedwise, you need to be manning the B button repeatedly to knock out the bad guys that are flying around, coming after you!... Then the next level requires repeated pressing of the A button again, just to make the guy move (again the faster you press, the faster he goes)I am concerned that our gaming kids may be setting themselves up for problems like repetitive motion injuries, down the road. The game is very compelling and the kids don't like to put it down... but you may want to enforce limited session times (especially when they are on levels requiring this repeated button hitting) just to give their poor cramped hands and wrists a break! (I'm really bummed they designed the control functionality this way, it seems so unneccessary and the game is otherwise quite good!)

That being said, many of the levels have control functioning that is not so stressful and more in keeping with what you may be used to from other GBA games.Anyway, this is just something I wish I'd known before I purchased Dinotopia. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Asteroids, like other classic games from the originalvideo arcade era, is still fondly remembered by retro gamers--and forgood reason. This game reminds many gamers of an age when gameplay wasmore important than graphics.

The first few levels play just like the original Asteroidsgame. Your ship starts in the middle of the screen, spins, and blastsasteroids. You can thrust about and pick up some nifty power-ups, butthe game doesn't really heat up until later stages. For example, thesecond stage introduces dangerous black holes that you must avoid.Strangely enough, the final levels play somewhat like another classicgame, Missile Command.

There are lots of hidden goodies in this game, from new ships to anembedded version of the original wire-frame Asteroids.Fortunately, this version offers more than a simple facelift to theaging arcade game. Asteroidsis simple enough to pick up andplay for a few minutes, yet addictive enough to keep you occupied forhours. Retro arcade fans should put this one on their shortlist.--T. Byrl Baker

4-0 out of 5 stars It's really cool.
I bought this game and love it I have played it thriugh entirely at least like 10 times. You have 3 ships all have special powers (i suggest the 3rd one it's my favorite) and you can earn a forth one. Once you beat all of the missions you get the original asteroids and a new ship. I highly recommend this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Kool game
This is a really good game. You have 3 ships to choose from, each with their own special things that they can do. The only thing that I think is bad is that the last zone is way too easy, and the fact that when you play in expert you don't get any special weapons. But the graphics are great and the whole storyline and gameplay is really cool. This is a great game.

4-0 out of 5 stars Asteroids Strikes Back
This is a new cartridge for an old game. This means if you don't like original Asteroids, you'll not like this one too. But if you've fighted in a wireframe universe for years you cannot miss this one. Many new hazardsand enemies will cross your way, ready to be blasted out! There are fivespace systems to fight in, three ships (four, if you're good enough to winthe last one) each with its special defense, the original game hidden (notvery well) somewhere and passwords to keep progress made. So what you'rewaiting for?

5-0 out of 5 stars Great
A pretty good reproduction of the old Asteroids. The graphics are colorful although a bit dark so you'll need good light. You can see everything well, but the game has the ship & asteroids on a blackbackground (most other games have a light background). The action gradualybuilds until you are dodging and shooting for your life...then some newthing shows up and kills you.Good to keep in the bag for layovers at theairport. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars This game is why M-K & A are suing the developer-It stinks
Got it for a 6 & 8 yr old & even my husband & I are unable to "beat" the computer players. It has no option to not let the computer play. It is very frustrating & we are ready to pitch it.

5-0 out of 5 stars It Is Ok
I have this game and I love it the only problem is that there is no Rock Climbing, No mini Golfing, no triva, and no drivers test like people say. I still love this game no matter what because you still have to do all the tasks and you have to get a good grade. You also have to watch out for cars. I really like this game.

4-0 out of 5 stars Worth the price!
This game is the best! The only hard part about it is the cars but once you get used to it you'll get it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very Challenging
This game is challenging. You have to watch for cars in front of you. I have to play a level 50 times in order to go on. I'm a challenging girl, so buy it. It's fun!

1-0 out of 5 stars Bab game.
This is the worts game I ever played.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome game!!!
Army Men Op Green is a fantastic game, with realistic sound effects and great explosions. The plot of the game is excellent, and the missions' diversity is a relief from other games with the sole purpose is getting a key-card and escaping the level. The interaction with things is cool, especially driving the vehicles. This was my first game for GBA, and it really set a high standard which will be hard to top.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWSOME!!!! (especially if you're an armymen fan)
This game is sooo coool! I have always loved the Armymen games, and now I can play all the time. Make sure that before you play, you go to options and make the control B. This allows you to move around wherever you want. It is also cool if you turn off the music and just play with the noises while wearing head phones. It's kinda hard to drive the vehicles at first, but you'll get the hang of it.I just got this 2 days ago and I havn't been able to put it down...It also has good re-play ability, I like to go back to the earlier levels and make sure I kill everyone of those little tan guys! Speaking of the tan guys, they're really smart. Lol...They follow you and stuff. And watch out for the kamakazis(sp???) They run up to you and then blow themselves up!Buy this game now! You definatly won't regret it.

5-0 out of 5 stars A five star game
Army Men: Operation Green, is one of the best Games for
Game Boy Advance. You can use 7 weapons, Bazooka, Flamethrower, Grenades, Knife, Minesweeper, Rifle and M-60.You can also drive Half-Tracks, Cargo Trucks, Jeeps and Tanks. The graphics are some of the best, and the controls are also good.
If I were you, I would buy this game. I hope this review helped you.

3-0 out of 5 stars An RPG for a three hour road trip...
Shaman King- Legacy of SPirits is a decent RPG with simple gameplay, and few hard moments. The 'catch 'em all' Pokemon type thing often gets annoying, and the only hard parts are Anna's concentration training.

3-0 out of 5 stars Fun but short
Overall Shaman King legacy of spirits is a good game, the only drawback is that it is way to short. It took me only 4 hours to beat the game and you don't even level up that much, not only that, but at the end of the game there are still spirits you can not create by combination. Really it's a fun game, but it is way to short to buy, I would suggest renting it if you can or borrowing it from a friend.

5-0 out of 5 stars not like pokemon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I dont know who this guy is saying that this is like pokemon shaman king rules and pokemon just plain sucks how is magic shamanic people and ghosts anything like pokemon this is an excellent game and remember its not like pokemon!!!!!!!!!!! no offence

4-0 out of 5 stars Pokemon only with nothing but ghost types
The game Shaman King Legacy of Spirits: Soaring Wolf plays a lot like Pokemon. That is somewhat wrong, it plays like Pokemon and Shin Megami Tensei Demi Kids only it uses the Shaman King Liscence.

Overall the battle animations are not exsistant, harking back to a time on the older consoles when all your enemies did was flash. Which is alright, since I like those older console games.

Overall if your experienced with Pokemon and you like Shaman King pick up this title. So far I like the setup though like I said it reminds me of Pokemon...only with nothing but Ghost types. ... Read more

In order to return to their normal size, Bomberman and Max must drop bombs, complete puzzles, and destroy the devious shrinking device of their adversaries. Throughout the game, players collect, raise, and breed Charabom characters, then battle them against others by utilizing the Game Link cable. A huge adventure filled with more than 80 arenas, each loaded with enemies and challenges, Bomberman Max 2: Red Advance lets you take on missions alone or with others via the link cable. 4-0 out of 5 stars Frustrating but Fun
Bomberman games have had the same premise from the beginning: walk around, place bombs, and try to get rid of enemys by blasting them.Beginning on the original Nintendo Ententertainment System, Bomberman has definitely come a long way since its NES days with graphic and level design, but when you take all that stuff away, they're all basically the same.

Bomberman Max for the Gameboy Advance is no exception. The gameplay is fun and addicting, but it is not without its frustrations. In this version, you receive Charabombs, (pronounced care-a-bombs) that are animals for bomberman to ride on that give him different abilities. For example, the elephant can lay up to four bombs at once (without collecting upgrades) and the seapony can lay all available bombs in a line at once. This is a nice little addition to the game, as it gives it a sort of RPG feel, as you can upgrade and breed your Charabombs.

My main complaint is how games are saved. Each level has an objective, and once it is complete, multiple portals will open up in that level, allowing access to other levels. Blue portals lead to new levels, red portals go to levels you've already visited. So, once you've completed the objective, selected a portal to a new level and saved, you should be able to start back up on that new level next time you play, right?Wrong. You have to make your way through the entire previous level again to access the portals. You don't have to complete the objective again, but some levels are hard just to get accross.Frustrating.Another thing that adds frustration is the lack of health. As you continue on, your bombs will get rather large, and if not careful, you can easily kill yourself with a little friendly fire.It would be nice to be able to sustain at least one bomb blast before having to start the level over. There are items you can collect that will allow one blow, but they are few and far between.

All in all, this is a worthy entry in the Bomberman series, and if you are a fan of any of the previous Bomberman games, you will like this.

1-0 out of 5 stars WARNING...
this is the worst gba game i have ever bought no ive ever played.i used to play bomberman on my ps1 and that was fun so i tried bomberman tournament(gba), which was a great game. the adventure mode is very easy and the battle mode is very fun.but this game is just stupid, the battle modes are karbon battles, THATS NOT BOMBERMAN!! they made it 3-d which makes it look worst.also the adventure mode is stupid, long and amazingly boring.if you want a bomberman game get Bomberman tournament, no matter the price this game isn't worth it trust me, i got it for $$ and now i want my money back. im trying to sell it.

1-0 out of 5 stars I HATE IT!
this is a Terrible game never buy it!I'll give you some reasons why you should NEVER buy this game:
1.no health
2.your timed
3.the bosses are next to impossible to beat
4.it dosn't save on the level your on! =(

Stay AWAY from this game!

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good Game
This game can be addictive at times. It can also get old after awhile though. If you have a GBA link, it is a must buy.The multiplayer modes are awsome, where you can battle Charabombs (amazingly like pokemon), play in a very fun battle mode, and unlock 20 bonus levels if you link up with an owner of the opposite version.Another advantage of linking up is that to play in battle mode, you only need one game pack, so you can play with a friend who doesn't have the game.Overall a pretty good game and a must-buy for link owners and bomberman fans.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best games ever
I have had alomost every bomberman game ever made i have all the ones on gbc and the bomberman tournement on gba. I cant wait for these 2 new games they look so cool. If you have had a recentbomberman game then you know they use these little things called "charobombs" they are sort of like pokemon but not that bad i recomend this game for anyone who has a gba that likes to have fun.☺ ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Deja Vu
After being burned by Bicycle Casino on Xbox, I was surprised when I saw that a new casino game had been released for the Game Boy Advance. After the slightly disappointing GBA version of Caesar's Palace, I was hoping Golden Nugget Casino would fill the void of a good portable gambling game.I guess I should have been skeptical when I saw Majesco's name on the box. They were the ones that distributed Caesar's Palace.Imagine my surprise when I popped the cartridge in and saw a menu screen that was eerily reminiscent of Caesar's.I decided to give craps a try first. My name came up on the screen with little stars surrounding it.The table looked very familiar.Wait a minute... this IS Caesar's Palace... just with a new name on the table.

Yes folks, if you already own Caesar's Palace for the GBA, don't bother wasting your money on this. It's the exact same game, minus a slot machine (I believe Caesar's had 3, GN only as 2 and they both are not very good). If you don't own Caesar's, it's not a bad gambling game by any means, but the controls and presentation are rather cumbersome. For instance, in craps, you must select your bet from the awkward chip menu, then move the cursor around to place your bet, then move the cursor all the way back to the bottom to select "Done" before the dice roll.Couldn't they have used a shoulder button to do an "instant roll" or something?Video Poker is presented well in terms of machine variety, but everytime you win, the screen scrolls down to display the paytable, then slowly scrolls back up to show you how many credits you have, the scrolls back to the "ready" position for the next hand. This takes a good 5-10 seconds after every win.A little bothersome to say the least. And finally, there is NO battery backup. If you want to save your progress, you write down a long password.

While it may sound like I gave an overwhelmingly negative review, Golden Nugget Casino is NOT that bad of a game.At the low price it's being offered at, it's a good pickup for long trips.Just be warned though- this is not exactly a new game! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A Game for Baseball Fans
Personally i'm not a huge baseball fan.Ocassionally I watch a game but not too often. This game is great if you are a fan of baseball but i didn't like it that much.I am stinky at hitting home runs and I can not hit the ball often. You ahve to know some of the things in baseball and i really don't get the point of this game anyway it gets kind of annoying sometimes like when you confuse your players with the ones on the other team. Also some of the games are hard and I usually strike out.I like this game but i wouldn't really recommend it if you are not a baseball fan.If you buy it and you have no idea what baseball is all about just remember I warned you!

5-0 out of 5 stars Terrific Game all-around
I first started playing this game in computer class and fell in love with it right away. What i like about it is that you can pick real MLB players, fake people, or create your own. You can also chose from real teams or fake teams. The levels and practice are really cool, for whatever may be your speed. Hope this review helped you, I have played this like over 100+ times

Thanks!

1-0 out of 5 stars piece of crap
what a piece of crap. i just bought this game. played it for 2 mins. realized there is NO PITCHING. YOU HIT OFF A @!#$##$#$ TEE BALL STAND. THIS GAME BLOWS. IMMEDIATELY SOLD IT BACK TO AMAZON. bought all star baseball 2004 instead.. no challenge at all to this game. jacked homeruns like i was stealing jewelry from old ladies. TOO EASY. NO FUN.

4-0 out of 5 stars Backyard Baseball
Backyardbaseball is de bomb! i think it's really cool that u can link and play and stuff like that. the only thing that's not the perfect thing about the game is the created players, because you can't make them that good. but the good thing is that they gain experience points if you choose them in a season. i link with my brother all the time.

2-0 out of 5 stars Play area too small
I had a lot of expections when I ordered the game. However, it turned out a little disappointing. The play area is too small, while there is plenty of screen space left on the sides. Also, sometimes the colors of the balls are difficult to tell. It's quite a strain on the eyes when you're playing it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good
This is a good game to play but I still like Bust a Move 4 better. It had more addiction value and I like the characters better in Bust a Move 4 than I do in Super Bust a Move. However I still recommend it because it is fun to play and it is challenging.

2-0 out of 5 stars not so super bust-a-move
I am a great fan of bust-a-move. I bought this game, because I wanted a travel size version of one of my favorite games. I have been pleased from the arcade to the playstation version of it, but I was quite disappointed with the GBA version. First of all the orbs were too small. There is plenty of extra room on the screen. I don't know why they couldn't have made the orbs at least twice as big. The colors are not very distict either. You have to play in a well lit area. The music isn't very entertaining and I don't like the new characters. The little dinosaur people don't show much expression either, unlike the playstation and the arcade versions, they seem very depressed or something. In the computer vs. player mode I often got these clear orbs from the computer side and I can't do anything with them. I found this annoying. Even the beginning takes too long. They show a bunch screens for too long a time. The player isn't even allowed to skip them like most games. Overall, I think that super bust-a-move was a huge disappointment. ...I should have bought tetris or something else. I don't recommend this game at all. Stick with the playstation version.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Game. 1 Problem
Don't just stand there, Bust-A-Move. It's the Arcade Classic that has cost me over $100.00 in quarters in my lifetime. And now it's on the GBA. There are Puzzle Levels, 2 Player Battles, or CPU Battles for those of you without anybody to play with.

The Only Problem with this game is there is no save option. I got to level X and realized this, not cool.

Here's a code to unlock some stuff in the game, making up for the no saving part.
At the Start Screen hit: A,R,L,A,B,R,L,A. It will unlock 2 extra characters and a new world.

3-0 out of 5 stars Only rent this game
I know in all that someone might of said something about this but this game is really hard to see. In an arcade or another game system version of this game, u can see the line to where your ball will shoot. The color is bad and u can barely eee it. The colors of the blue and green balls look similar. Other than that, this game is fun...but dont buy it. ... Read more
