5-0 out of 5 stars Another great Mary-Kate and Ashley Game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have the original version and loved it so I had to get this one. I liked even more than the first one. the color is way better. It is a lot like the first one though but even better. You ggot to get this one trust me. It teaches you about team work. It is another awesome Mary-Kate and Ashley game.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Get A Clue Game Boy Game
This game was an exciting way to try to figure out your way around problems.I thought it was a game you could learn from and a game for any kid.I thought it was a challenging and was a fun way to use stratagy.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty fun
To my surprise I thought this video game was really fun. The game play was great. You have to switch from Mary-Kate, Ashley, and their dog Clue to complete each level. One thing bad about it is that a little kid might have a hard time with it, sometimes the levels are kind of hard to get passed because you fall and have to start over, but others are really easy and you can breeze through them. I recommend this game to everyone.

3-0 out of 5 stars I thought it would be exiting!
I thought this game would be fun and it was for the first 5 staions of it !This game needed to much waiting to play.It said in the beigening about getting passwords but you never got any until you passed the mystery of the ballet bandit! This game also needed to much skill from gamers like me.I think this game threw off many Mary-Kate & Ashley fans through out the world. It also gave a very bad name to Mary-Kate & Ashley games like Pocket planner,The New Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley and Winners circle and all of those were very good games exept for this one. Until you have been playing your gameboy for at least three years you will not enjoy trying to control this game. Even my brother who is a Relly good gamer said it has very poor control and graphics. He's been playing for a little while now and still said that.If you are somebody planing to by this game I strongly suggest you don't!

5-0 out of 5 stars Well, they solved this crime by dinner time. It's GREAT!
This is the best Gameboy Game I have ever played! I can't put it down. It's not too easy to complete and you have to think about what you're doing which makes it much more interesting. Buy it now, and your gaming problems will be solved by dinner time! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Well Worth the money
I found this solitaire game by accident many years ago. It has ten different games to play. The games are very easy to play without the instruction booklet, so if no instruction booklet available that shouldn't cause a problem. This game was originally made for the first game boy so the game is in black and white.DO NOT let that deter you from buying this game. This particular version of solitaire is very hard to find.Holye has a version out but no where near the varity of games that are available. The games are Klondike, Tripeaks, Pyriamid, Cruel (very addictive), Freecell, Golf (can play on King or not on King),Canfield (either one card or three card and also many deck flips as needed or wanted), Aces Up, Scorpion, Poker (somewhat a lame game but fun to see how you can do), Stonewall (never have won this game) and Florentine. There is also a Tournament which is a lot of fun but very challanging.

Don't let the price fool you. This game has gone as high as $60 or more on ebay.As I said, extremely difficult game to find, but completely addictive once you get started.

5-0 out of 5 stars SOLITAIRE
A great game for adults, they should continue w/ color and advanced, Gameboys could catch on w/ the older "kids", I'll be 40 and I can't get this away from my Parents! ... Read more

Editorial Review

For those a little poky about catching onto the Pokémon craze, thisgame is a great way for the uninitiated to get their feet wet. Also, pinball fanatics shouldnot dismiss this as a kid's game, because it's a solid pinball game, regardless of thePokémon brand.

Two Pokémon-themed tables, Red and Blue, are here for players to bounce thePokéball around in hopes of catching up to 150 Pokémon monsters. Themonsters are collected by hitting targets on the pinball tables, and once collected, themonsters can be perused in the popular Pokédex format. Owners of the GameBoy printer can print their prize collections and mount their characters on the wall, if theyso desire. Unfortunately, the monsters collected in Pokémon Pinballcannot be traded with other Pokémon monsters from the Red, Blue, or Yellowgames, making this game a stand-alone product. A unique aspect of the game is that it hasa built-in rumble pack, which vibrates and shakes the Game Boy system as thePokéball bounces around the screen. --Jeff Young

Pros:

  • A great way for non-Pokéheads to get into the action
  • A respectable pinball game
  • High replayability
Cons:
  • Can't trade Pokémon with ones from the Pokémon Red, Blue, orYellow games

3-0 out of 5 stars 3.5 stars - a good pinball game
The video games in the Pokemon franchise are very hit or miss. For every Pokemon Gold or Pokemon Silver, there's a Pokemon Snap or Hey You Pikachu to bring the series back down. In 1999, Nintendo decided to try their hand at something a little different with the Pokemon characters - a pinball game. Is this one of the hits in the series, or one of the misses? Read on for my review.

PROS:
-Perhaps the greatest thing about this game is that you don't have to be a Pokemon fan to enjoy it.
-The game contains a good deal more depth than your average pinball game.
-There is an element of Pokemon capturing, which makes this a very interesting game.
-There are two different tables, one of which has monsters not found on the other and vice versa
-There are a number of bonus events as well.

CONS:
-Let's face the facts, no pinball game can hold your attention forever.
-The rumble feature doesn't contribute anything to the game.
-There are only TWO tables - more would have been nice.
-Since this is a Pokemon game, many hardcore gamers may be reluctant to try it.

OVERALL:
Overall this is a good pinball game, and one of the hits in the Pokemon series. If you've got a Game Boy, this here is a game worth checking out. It's nothing revolutionary, but it's sure to kill some time for you.

5-0 out of 5 stars Pokemon Pinball
Okay, I am not a pokemon fan at all, but I have to say that I love this game. You can choose from two different tables, red or blue. This game can become very addicting. If you are a pinball fan and not a pokemon fan, you can still enjoy this game. I highly recommened it.

1-0 out of 5 stars It [DISAPPOINTED]!!
When I bought it it worked for like 10 mins. I couldnt even figer out how to work it. It came with BAD instructions. It even takes batteries. DONT GET IT!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Pokemon Pinball
the game is the bomb! perfect for the kids on a long road trip. The game has a rumble feature, so this is the perfect game even for adults, to cause as a distration from stress of work related problems. You should make sure that the game is factory sealed before you buy it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Pinball with a Pokemon twist
This is one game you don't have to like Pokemon to appreciate. Pinball action combined with an element of collection forms a wonderful game for Pokemon collectors and pinball wizards alike. Featuring all the Pokemon from Blue, Red, and Yellow, the two tables on this game provide for plenty of excitement. The tilt system in this game also helps you keep the ball in play without having to be concerned about the machine penalizing you. This is a wonderful game that like I said, could be enjoyed by everyone. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Gameboy Jeopardy
I was thrilled to purchase this game for our family to play during holiday travelin the car. We are big jeopardy fans.We were disappointed in this game. The questions are not hard, but typing the answers in during thealloted time is nearly impossible. It is frustrating. The controls are sosensitive that you are forever typing the wrong letters in. Editorial Review

Ms. Pac-Man is one of the most successful arcade gamesof all time--and for good reason. This coin-snatching classic hascaptured the hearts of millions--and still can be found in manyarcades. Now, with Ms. Pac-Man Special Color Edition, you canbring this title's classic gameplay to your Game Boy.

All of the gameplay elements found in the original Pac-Man arepresent here. Eat the dots. Avoid the ghosts. Grab a power pellet.Gobble those ghosts! Still, Ms. Pac-Man added many new twiststo the Pac-Man series--and they are all faithfully re-createdhere. There are multiple mazes to conquer and several new fruit prizesto consume. As always, you can use warp tunnels to quickly pass fromone side of the maze to the other, and view cut-scenes once certainlevels are bypassed. The controls are extremely responsive, lettingyou ditch those pesky ghosts with ease.

As if Ms. Pac-Man wasn't enough, Namco also threw in a copy ofSuper Pac-Man, which adds even more features to the gameplay. Both versions can be played from either a zoomed-out perspective thatdisplays the entire maze, or a zoomed-in view that has much bettergraphics but displays only about a quarter of the maze at a time. Thisis a good translation of a revered classic that is likely to spendmuch time in your Game Boy Color. --T. Byrl Baker

Pros:

  • Retains classic gameplay of the arcade hit
  • Also includes bonus game Super Pac-Man
Cons:
  • Zoomed-out mode is very tiny

3-0 out of 5 stars Good game - not a good system for it
Pac-Man. No one can deny that this game is one of the greatest video games of all time, perhaps due to the fact that it is so involving and addictive, yet extremely easy to learn. Needless to say the game has been ported to a plethora of home consoles. One of the first was this version for the original Game Boy. Read on for my review of the game.

THE GOOD:
-Finally, a portable version of the game!
-With the exception of the graphics, the game is an exact reproduction of the arcade original.
-The two-player mode is nice.
-You get a bonus game - Super Pac-Man!

THE BAD:
-You have two choices of how to play the game. You can play a zoomed-in mode, where everything is more detailed but you see less of the screen, or you can play a full-screen mode like the arcade classic, but the detail is pitiful. THIS is why Pac-Man fails as a portable game.

OVERALL:
-Get a consular version of the game instead. As good an idea as making Pac-Man portable may have sounded, it's just not possible to pull it off well.

4-0 out of 5 stars Hand-held arcade
Based on the arcade game, Ms. Pacman is very entertainingThe object is to eat all the pellets.Power pellets enable you to eat the ghosts. The only thing I don't like about it is that once you lose all of your lives, you have to start from the beginning again!

5-0 out of 5 stars The best game ever!
My 6 year old loves this game she said, "The best part of the game is eating all the dots and making it to the next level".Super packman is included as a bonus -- definitely a plus! You can't go wrong with an (OG) classic.

4-0 out of 5 stars A great classic that provides hours of fun!
This game is really fun to play, even though it gets repetitive after a while. The Gameboy game is just like the original Ms. Pacman that many of you have played in arcades before. It involves trying to eat all of the Pac Dots in a maze while running away from colorful ghost creatures. As dull as this may sound, it can provde hours of fun as you work your way through over twenty levels and try to earn movie clips along the way. Unfortunately, every level is almost exactly the same besides more valuable fruits and slightly different pathways. Also, the high score resets itself every single time you turn off your Gameboy. So if you want friends or siblings to compete with your scores, you need to simply rely on honesty.

Along with the Ms. Pacman game I have just described, there is also Super Pacman, a great added bonus! Super Pacman comes with Ms. Pacman, but it is a completely different game that involves using keys to unlock Pac Dots. Sadly, it is also very repetitive and the high scores still don't save! But overall, Ms. Pacman for Gameboy Color is an awsome game that can add hours of entertainment to a boring car ride, and it definitly deserves to be bought!

3-0 out of 5 stars Ouch!
Great game, but not as a gameboy game. After 30 minutes of play, I got a blister on my thumb. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

Retrofitted from the PC pinball series, 3-D Ultra PinballThrillride has made the transition from the PC to the Game BoyColor about as flawlessly as could be imagined. The result is a game soaddictive that you will have to adjust the family budget to support afresh supply of AA batteries.

The game is set up like an amusement park, and your goal is to playuntil you turn out all of the lights at the park. There are 14different pinball tables to play, and each one offers up its ownchallenges. Just like in most other pinball simulators, the idea is torack up points by hitting as many objects as possible, thereby gettingto bonus levels, special events, and the ever-exciting multiball.

3-D Ultra Pinball Thrillride also offers up five fun zoneevents. These events range from roller coasters, Canyon River rapids, bumper cars, and several other amusement-park-themed pinball tables. Each of the tables comes with its own background and music, which setsthe tone for the table and entices you to keep playing. However, ifmusic on the Game Boy makes you cringe, the game allows you to turn itoff.

This game comes with a built-in rumble feature that adds anothersensory level to the gameplay. As the ball contacts flippers andbumpers, the game causes your Game Boy Color to rumble in your hands. The graphics are excellent, and the flippers and the ball are just theright size for viewing on the small screen. Certainly, 3-D UltraPinball Thrillride is a must-have for pinball enthusiasts, but itslow learning curve and highly replayable fun make it a must-have fornearly any Game Boy owner. --Todd Mowatt

Pros:

  • An addictive, portable pinball experience
  • Excellent graphics and music
  • Nudge feature makes game even more authentic
Cons:
  • 2 full-sized and 12 miniature tables might leave players wantingmore

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun,but...
I love playing pinball at the arcade, so thought this would be a great purchase. It was! The graphics get you engrossed in the game, you can tilt, and it gives you plenty of ways to score points. The only problems I had were:

1. If you're a novice it is hard to get to the various mini-games;
2. the music is horrible...I keep it turned off when I play!
3. The rumble function is annoying and rarely corresponds with the game.

But aside from these small complaints, this is good fun for the pinball lover of any age!

This is a fun, colorful game. Some may find that there's not a whole lot of variety here. Not a lot of tables, but that didn't get in my way of enjoyment. There's a high score record too, which I think all Gameboy games should have. Ball physics are good. The table is more challenging than the PC version, which I found to be too easy. It's not the best Gameboy pinball game, but it's right up there towards the top of the list. If it's a fun time you're looking for, you will find it here.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best pinball game on gameboy

3-0 out of 5 stars So-so at best.
"Pinball Dreams" really isn't all that bad, considering it's an old title (for the original Gameboy--it will of course play on any Gameboy system) and made with an old engine. In its day, it was probably pretty decent even. But times and programming have advanced significantly since then, and this title just can't hold a candle to any of the newer titles. Graphics are pretty amateur-looking, table design just isn't very fun, the ball physics are mediocre at best, and you cannot save high scores, a major disappointment since beating a long-standing record score is a major reason I play pinball in the first place. I have tons of PC pinball games (along with two full-sized actual tables from the '70s), and one thing I really like is setting a record score and entering the date I did it, and then watching that record stand for several years in some cases (providing I don't need a hard drive reformat). Most newer Gameboy pinballs do allow for high score storage--this one does not. I'd recommend this particular game only if you are a collector. If you're just looking for a fun time, I'd recommend just about any other Gameboy pinball game over this one. "Kirby's Pinball Land" is probably the best of the original type (loaded with fun and seemingly never-ending things to accomplish), "Pokemon Pinball" for GBC, and "Pinball Of The Dead" for GBA.

1-0 out of 5 stars Lame
Like pinball? Have a gameboy? You would think you would want this. You don't. Cheap graphics, awful screen scrolling, and atari type sound make for a almost zero fun experience. Whether you like the liscenses or not, you'd be better of with Pokemon, Little Mermaid, or Kirby pinball.Kirby is not a game boy color title but worth it if you can still find it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not quite what I expected.
I love pinball and I knew that this game would satisfy aportion of the pinball urge I get from time to time.I have a GBcolor and I realize that this game is compatible with GB/pocket & color (all 3 platforms).Color users be warned -- it ain't in color. The other thing I want to share is that this game is not very smart. There are only three different pinball games, and none of them are very exciting. There is no multiball action, no cool ramps, and no way to save your high scrores. The high scores will save during your game play, but once you turn your GB off, then you've lost your score...bogus?..I say yes.

I gave this game 3 stars because the 3 levels are kind of fun and I've wasted time playing them with some minor level of enjoyment.Don't be disappointed...I warned you.If you want really cool pinball, I guess you'll have to do what I do: go to the arcade.Happy gaming!

4-0 out of 5 stars Love that Pinball!
