1-0 out of 5 stars Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
I found that the game was ok the only thing was that it was a one player game when there is so many games out there what are more then one player me i would say that i would not buy it for myself for this reason i only got beacse i got for a gift

4-0 out of 5 stars excellent
this is great awesome action/adventure game.if u think ur too old for teenage mutant ninja turtles thats fin, but the game is awesome.great graphics and action.four people can play at the same time!all i hab to say is that this game is the bomb.

2-0 out of 5 stars This is NOT the turtles I knew?
I was looking forward to playing the new turtles game because like a few others on here, I grew up with the turtles from the 80's. Now I am a HUGE fan of changing stories up and making things more interesting, but these turtles were cheesy!!!
The boss fights in the Arcade version and other turtle games were FAR more exciting and a lot less repetitive. I played the game through and recognized only about 2 enemies from the original: Shredder and Stockman. Who are these other people?? And why is April and Casey this white-trash couple now??!!
Anyway, the gameplay was good and so were the graphics, but if you think you are getting old school turtles...RUN FAR AWAY.

P.S Whats with the new theme song??? GeeZZZZ

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game but VERY long...
This game is very reminicent of the older geration TMNT games but it's MUCH more action packed...Anyone who thinks that this is the 4th TMNT game brought to a Nintendo system obviously forgets that there were 3 TMNT action games and a fighting game released for the NES,TMNT IV and TMNT Tournamrnt fighter for SNES and the 3 TMNT games released for Gameboy...

This new game, as well as, the new FoxBox cartoon, is based on the comic book, while the old school games are based on the older cartoon from more than a decade ago.I'm very impressed with this game EXCEPT for the ending...The ending IS NOT worth the effort you put into this game(4-5+ HOURS!!)...

I just hope the sequel's ending will be better than the ending for this otherwise fun game.My ONLY gripe about this game is the repetitive sound effects get annoying after a while...

3-0 out of 5 stars Cute and colorful but too childish
From a graphics point of view this game is very impressive. Sadly from a gameplay angle it's kind of limited and every level is basically the same thing.

This could basically be described as a side-scrolling beat-em-up, though the uncontrollable camera POV becomes very annoying. And compared with old-school games of the same genre, it doesn't hold up. Pow, biff, bam, smack! It just goes on and on for the whole game.

There are some levels that could have been cool, like the rooftop or subway stages. How cool would it have been to chuck the bad guys off the roof or onto the subway tracks? Very, but an invisible wall prevents this from happening. It's so disappointed that a lot of exploration is cut short. In the subway level trains rocket past in the tunnels on either side of you, but in the middle tunnel (where you battle loads of bad guys) there's no trains at all. Most levels are this way, there's just no REAL interaction with the environment.

The Streets of Rage games on the Genesis were better. It's the same thing. The city is overrun with thugs headed by a big boss. You beat them up and kill the boss. TMNT does not improve on this concept. Cute graphics though.

It's also kind of easy. The game is totally aimed at kids. I've seen better, I've seen worse. But I would suggest renting the game as it's long-time appeal is drastically short. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Game for Youngsters
I enjoys kids games and this one was no exception.Had A LOT of dialogue from the movie (almost like watching the movie while you play the game).A VERY easy game for adults, but a nice break. It took me about two hours to complete the entire game, but I opened only one of the bonus games.Overall a well put together game and a definite must have game for youngsters.A game with good values is hard to find in this day and age.

5-0 out of 5 stars I Admit, I thought it would suck
This video game looks like what you would find in a playhouse.I thought that it would suck, but I decided to rent this anyway. When I played it, I was suprised. The gameplay was good and it was one of those "if you're stressed, play this to feel better" games.I would recommend this to anyone who has a hard workday and needs time off.

5-0 out of 5 stars A more positve look at this game
This game is amazing. The story mode levels are huge, and you can switch between either white bomber or max, both with pros and cons. If you lose, you can enter the bomber mansion and train. If you have your friends over, go battle mode. The game offers 5 different battle modes, along with tons of different stages the affect your play. This game is huge, and the only "high voice" is Bomberman talking. The game play alone will take you hours to beat, plus, you have a limit til' the planet is destroyed to add to it all. This game deserves a 5, not a 1.

1-0 out of 5 stars it sucks
this game sucks.I thogut it would be like the one on nintendo 64 , but it isnt at all is is a retarded japanese cartoon with high pitched voices that sound like the stupidest cartoon ever made, pokemon!!i wasted about 35$ on this dumb game. Please for your sake dont ever buy this game or even think about buying it !!!!!!!!!!!

1-0 out of 5 stars A better generation? Not at all.
I know what you're thinking. "This is Bomberman, and for twenty bucks!" But I promise, that money can be spent on something far better. The multiplayer mode is the only reason why this is any good, but even then, it's nothing new. Hudson Soft only needs to make one Bomberman game per console, unless they're going to actually improve the series in some way (and believe me, this singleplayer stuff is in need of improvement). All Jetters wants to do is be another Bomberman Generation, but we already have a Generation. So buy that game instead.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best Bomberman game released here since Saturn Bomberman
Bomberman Jetters takes the foundation layed by Bomberman Generation and improves it in several ways. Firstly, you can select from several characters in Battle Mode, which is nice. You can also handicap players by letting them start with items. You can choose what items appear in each stage, a neat addition. The new multiplayer modes are great fun, and the one player game is based on the Japanese anime show. Having played the import, I'm really happy to see this one come out here at a great price. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars What is this!?!
I was at a conveince store yesterday and saw the worst gamne Nintendo has ever created! Pokemon Channel!? This is worse than "Hey You Pikachu". Everything is really boring, a weak storyline, and the worst for last: thoase annoying pokemon cries! For once, I wish I could just put duck-tape on their mouth! Overall, save your money for something else.

1-0 out of 5 stars THIS GAMES A RIP OFF
This game is pathetic.I am insulted that Nintendo would sell a product to me like this. There are only five areas to explore(your house, the yard, a beach, some snow place, and a forest) which is kind of pathetic. The objective is to collect cards and collect these TV chip things that allow you to watch new channels. Its kind of stupid when u see the same channel over and over and over........especially when you get to watch a bunch of sheep jump over some fence.(I have seen it go over 500, and it never changes.)The only good thing about the game is that you can watch some new pokemon show, but it doesnt even last that long. Then they try to make it seem like u get alot of channels by remaking the new show in Japanese, full edition, and then 3 other channels that play different parts of the show.If you really want to buy this game, rent it.Its not worth $20 for only one day of fun.

4-0 out of 5 stars Eh,alright-could be better...
This game I had recently received for a Christmas present, and now it's losing out to my other games.

I began the game, and it was cute. The channels were creative and peppy, but didn't hold my intrest. This game is better suited to younger gamers and/or pokemaniacs. If you're a bit older,I recommend Animal Crossing, which is much more enjoyable.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not A+, but it still is fun!
Pokemon channel is very cute and fun to play. You get to watch TV, earn money, decorate your room, explore, and talk to other pokemon. Although the game is fun for awhile, it gets really boring after you beat it. It is a great game for the amount of money you pay for it, but it isn't the best.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hours and Hours and Hours of Fun
Playing this game is like you suddenly find yourself inside the cartoon! The graphics are really interesting because they look like they are drawn just as in the cartoon. It's quite seamless compared to other video games where the video games don't look like the cartoons.

There are lots of varied levels with different challenges requiring different skills. Lots of puzzle solving, which is why I gave it some educational stars. Timmy wears lots of different costumes and "space"-suits. The variety is astounding!

Hours and hours and hours of fun. It will take days for your kids to just get through all of the levels and things the first time, but then there are other features like a Crimson Chin trading card treasure hunt that will have your kids going over every nook and cranny of the game, which greatly increasing the "replay-ability".

My boys are 6 and 12, and they both loved it. They tell me there are some spelling type puzzles so I don't if younger players will be able to solve these on their own, but it might have been done so that they could.

The only con I could see is that Wanda and Cosmo's dialog does get to be a bit repetitive and annoying if you are running around the same level for a long time.

Have fun!

[P.S. The game saves just fine.]

5-0 out of 5 stars Loved this game!!!
My 41/2 year old son and I were hooked on this game!! It took almost a month but we beat the entire game! I loved the graphics, while my son loved the action! He is also a fan of TMNT so I was happy that this game was not violent, while still giving him the "fighting the bad guys" feeling. Our friends have not borrowed this game from us and are also having a great time! BTW..the save feature is not difficult as I read in a previous review...reading the manual really does help alot!

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome
Fairly oddparents breakin da rules is awesome ..... fan of fairly oddparents you sure love it

1-0 out of 5 stars This game is a major waste
The graffics are pretty bad even considering that it's a cartoon the voices for cosmo and wanda sound like they are talking through a pillow, you can barely hear let aloneunderstand them and game play is extreamly repatative.

I rented this from gamefly.com and I am so glad I did not shell out 40 dollars for this game.

2-0 out of 5 stars A Disappointment
My son asked for this game because he likes the TV program. He was disappointed after playing it for a few minutes. It didn't compare well to Tak and the Power of JuJu, which he already had. He found it apparently isn't possible to save a game while exiting, although there is a menu item for loading a saved game. The little "user manual" wasn't any help. We wouldn't have bought it if we'd known what we do now. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Good lord, this sucks
When I rented Disney's Hide and Sneak, I wasn't expecting much. However, I did not expect it to suck this much.

The first problem you will probably notice is how boring the gameplay is. There are a few puzzles that a braindead person could beat, and there are stealth parts that nobody can lose at.

The only good thing I can say about this game is that the graphics and sound is OK.

1-0 out of 5 stars What a truly wretched game.
Well, the House of Mouse is at it again, freely pimping out its licensed characters to just about whoever wants to feature them in a video game."Hide & Sneak" is the worst one yet that I've had the pleasure of playing.

You can play as Minnie or Mickey in this platform/puzzle game. What you'll mostly be doing is running around and occasionally jumping up on a nearby box when an enemy is going to attack you.Doesn't that sound fun?No?Hmm...I don't know why not. There are also a few "puzzle" areas that usually consist of something like pulling switches in a certain order or raising platforms in a certain order.

I am getting tired of saying this but apparently developers aren't getting tired of hearing the complaints. The camera is awful! You only have very limited control over the camera and the game prefers showing you from a head-on shot.Of course, that means you can never see what's right in front of you or what is going to kill you just around that corner.Gee...thanks!

Don't worry though, the ridiculous camera isn't going to stop you from quickly beating this game.In fact, people in a rush are sure to love this title. At the end of the game, Capcom has the nerve to show you how long your playing time was.My time was 1 hour and 48 minutes!I'm not going to embarrass myself by telling you how much I paid for a game I beat in under 2 hours.

I've said it before but I'll say it again. You like Disney?Buy the "Kingdom Hearts" games and ignore all of the other shallow, opportunistic games they try and make a fast buck off of. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Tries to make a fast buck off of a pioneering video game.
This game really doesn't deserve any time wasted talking about it, but so far nobody has given it the one star review it deserves so I guess it is up to me.It's supposed to be a tribute/modern update of the classic video game "Space Invaders".Instead, it insults the Atari gaming staple and it is both simpler and more boring than the game it is based on.

In the 21st century, we need video games with a bit more complexity than what we're offered here. You stand at the bottom of the screen and strafe back and forth while shooting at the alien hordes in front of you.Fascinating.Is the game easy?Yup, it only takes around two hours to beat! What is the point of the game?Well...to make money off of a clueless public hungry for a piece of their video gaming youth I suppose.Don't fall for it.This would be okay as a freebie on the Internet or maybe for a couple of bucks to play on your cell phone.Just don't spend any money purchasing it for your GameCube because you'll be regretting it the very next day.

3-0 out of 5 stars Stand and Shoot.
Modeled after the classic styles of several Atari games, Space Raiders allows you to blow up and shoot alien after alien in an all-out assault on planet Earth. With three playable characters in Story Mode and Survival Mode, you work your way through mini levels leading up to a boss in Contra style until you reach the head alien, a floating eye robot combo. The game itself takes just about two hours or so to beat per character in Story Mode, which comes with unlimited continues.Survival Mode is the same game minus any continues which can make it quite difficult to beat the pre-set high scores. If you would like to own a game that allows you to just sit down and shoot aliens and work through quick levels and big bosses, then Space Raiders is the perfect game for you.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good old fashion fun!
Okay, if you are looking for a challenge, then this isn't the game for you. But, if you are looking to have some fun then this is a great game to own, especially for the price. The old arcade style action shooter brings back great gaming memories. The game is easy to beat, and the story is TOTALLY cheesy, but the graphics are nice and the gameplay is really fun. A downside to the game is that it doesn't have 2 player in story mode, which I thought was pretty lame.Overall, I am pleased with Space Raiders.

4-0 out of 5 stars Brings back old memories! Fun but not a "must have" game.
This is a modern game for fans of the old Centipede and Zaxxon arcade shooters. Characters can only move left or right across the bottom of the screen shooting and throwing grenades at many types of aliens and zombies. At the end of each level you fight a giant boss, like in Contra. The graphics are great but the voice acting and storyline sucks. If you liked the old-school arcade shooters, you'll find this to be fun!

5-0 out of 5 stars Nintendo Power
Just today I recieved my Nintendo Power and it had a big article about this game. I never even heard of the game but since it's exclusive it has to be a must see. Next week I am going to be buying this game and I will write a review of it on here so everyone can know what it is like. It actually doesn't look half bad by the screens. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Cool Game
I myself am new to the dance games. I just got this game and my 3 and 6 year old boys and I love it. I have seen the DDR game for XBOX and it's cool but my friend that has it said she liked the song selection of the Game Cube's better. I think for the price (I got it for $52.99 here at the Game Stop in Hawaii and the Gamespot.com sells it for $49.99) it's great. I've seen dance pads with no game included going for over $100. So I think $50 is a pretty great deal when it includes the game and the pad. I am looking forward to the future of Game Cube.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not Nintendo's DDR
First, I'd just like to correct the few up above. This DDR-rip is NOT Nintendo's version of DDR.This game AND pad is most completely by MadCatz for the Nintendo GameCube console.Nintendo had nothing to do in making it.However...

Nintendo, Bemani (the creators of DDR), and Konami (the publishers of DDR) ARE working on a collaborative DDR together called "Dance Dance Revolution with Mario" and it will be out later this year.

MadCatz Groovez does seem kinda interesting, though.

3-0 out of 5 stars Stick with DDR
I have been waiting for a dance game to come out on game cube. I have to say I'm pretty disappointed. The three featured artist on the cover of the game are the highlights of the music selection. The rest is pretty poor. The graphics are poorly done and the modes themselves pretty crappy. At the end of the just dance mode it doesn't use grades or anything it just asks for initials if you get a high score. Workout mode doesn't give you any options so you have to use all 8 buttons which is really hard if you're just starting out. If you own a PS2 or Xbox I highly recommend buying DDR instead. This will just leave you upset that you spent 50 dollars on a game that's maybe worth 20.

2-0 out of 5 stars not as good as DDR
The music and graphics are not as good. Also like the original DDR format better.

3-0 out of 5 stars Bust a Move
MC Groovz really is just a blatant rip-off of the Dance Dance Revolution franchise, but it does fill a hole in the Gamecube line-up: that of the rythm dance game. If you own DDR on another console, then don't buy this, because it's actually a step backwards as far as challenge is concerned. For those who only own a Gamecube and have always been interested in a dance game, MC Groovz is a lot of fun. ... Read more
