    Features:

    • Play more than 25 new hits, from pop and hip-hop to R&B and rock, all straight from the charts.
    • With three difficulty levels and five modes of play, Donkey Konga 2 will have gamers everywhere drumming and clapping again to new songs.

    • Multiplayer musical mayhem! Connect up to four sets of DK Bongos controllers for jam sessions, or match your rhythmic prowess against a rival in the two-player Battle mode
One day at drum practice, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong begin arguing over each other’s playing. Dixie Kong and Cranky Kong happen to walk by and see the two embroiled in a heated exchange. Dixie settles the spat by showing off her stunning skills. That’s when Cranky comes up with a brilliant idea: It’s time for the Kongs to go on tour!

In Donkey Konga 2, performances are graded by how accurately players drum along to the rhythms shown on the screen. In Street Performance mode, players play for DK Coins. The better their performances, the more coins they earn. Coins are spent at the Shopping Mall to purchase expert-level music, alternate sound sets for the DK Bongos controller, and mini-games at the Shopping Mall.

The Music Lab features two new mini-games. In Challenge mode, players must match a set performance score to move on to the next song, with the ultimate goal of playing every song in the game in one sitting. Battle mode pits two players against one another to see who can achieve the higher score. Hitting strategically placed POW blocks will lower opponents’ scores, and there’s a drum roll contest for bonus points as well. In Jam ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Game, Not Perfect
I disagree that the 1st game was better. The 2nd game is more developed and has a wider range of songs to choose from. There is music for everyone and even if you don't like a certain song, you will still have fun playing to it on the kongas since it will be a challenge. The songs are great to take your anger and energy out on and the beats really reflect the mood, stlye, melody, and rhythm of the song. The parts also help you develop an ear for the other instruments and what is going on with the other parts, not just the rhythm.
There are more extra features on this game. The only one I don't like is the freestyle. I don't find it fun just to play whatever I want because what you're playing isn't recorded or saved and there's no way to know what you did. The mini games are really fun and great for multiplayer. The feature where 2 players can play on 1 set of kongas is great because it builds team work and trust. It's a lot of fun for one person to get red, another yellow, and you both clap.
I havn't played multi-player (except the 2 player feature I just mentioned) because extra kongas are expensive and I don't want to make that purchase yet since no one else I know owns kongas or the game.
This game is also rated teen for mild lyrics. I havn't noticed any swearing but there are certain references including suffocation. Most songs are suitable for young children however. The whole family will enjoy Donkey Konga. I also recommend the 1st game in the series.
Although the real artists who perform the songs are not the people on the songs, the fake versions are still great and are performed by very talented musicians. They do a great job of covering the song to sound just like the real artist.
The only complaints I have are they could replace all the r and b and rap songs with some songs that are more rhythm heavy and upbeat. I also believe the game is a bit too short but the extra features and multi player make up for that.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good...could have been Great!
Look.I like the donkey kongas. The first one was great. The second one has been a bit of a letdown. Oh sure it's fun and delivers that but, for instance, in the first game I knew 85% of the songs.I can only recognize 30% of the songs in the new game because the others are just horrible drek I wouldn't listen to to begin with! There were a few surprise songs on there that I was glad to see, but the song that "sampled" the music from the "Young and the Restless" is, well, just HORRIBLE!It should have been better; at leastbetter songs to choose from and Nintendo failed to pick those.I still have fun with it irregardless of some of the C"rap"py music. If you know a lot of newer songs, you'll love it.It's just good for me. Not great. No Motown? No Beatles? No Elvis? No 70's classic rock? What happened?

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazingly fun for all ages
I admit that the bongos seem like a silly gimmick when you first look at them. But when you start playing with them, these are REALLY good rhythm and drum trainers!

The game comes with a good selection of songs to play along with - from Allstar to La Bamba, from the Nutcracker Suite to Shiny Happy People. There should be songs in here to suit all musical tastes. There are a bunch of different ways to play the songs. There are freestyles where you just drum and clap along any way you wish. There are a series of built in rhythms where you have to match up as well as you can with the song. There are two player modes where one person drums and the other person claps. There are a number of challenge modes where people play head to head or try to get better scores on the same song.

There are even rhythm trainers where you learn about different rhythms and learn how to hold them over a number of bars. It really is quite amazing how much the game teaches you about syncopation and unusual rhythms. If you feel you're rhythmically challenged, this game can get you to learn how rhythms work. If you think you're a pretty good drummer, give a try on some of the more challenging songs and see if you can keep up!

The game is great for solo play and even more fun in party situations, especially because the songs are so much fun. As you earn coins, you can use them to buy more difficult song versions, new sounds for your bongos and even new bongo visuals. You get a lot of incentive to keep getting better and better.

Where many games teach you skills that might seem meaningless (arcane combinations of button mashing), this game is actually teaching you a real life skill that is great. You could become a better real life drummer, or at least be able to hold your own better at any dances you might go to.

What's even better, this game is great for all ages. Young kids can have fun randomly hammering - while adults can do serious work in perfecting their skills.

    Highly recommended! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars who in the world hates this game come on!!!
the people who hate this stink!

3-0 out of 5 stars Suffers from sequelitis
How often do you see a sequel to a movie that tries to outdo the original? That's what happened here. The original Pikmin was a masterpiece.A unique game with peaceful play interrupted with violent outbursts.Pikmin 2 is just violent outbursts.Oh yeah they ruined my favorite part of the original game, challenge mode.

1-0 out of 5 stars Why, Nintendo, why....
...why did you have to ruin such a good thing? My hours spent with the original Pikmin, chilling to the ambient music and exploring the gorgeous environments, were some of the best hours of my life. But this...all I can say is, it COULD have been amazing.

The only "pro" here is all the little treasures you get to collect. Each one is completely unique, and although they're all stuff that us normal people would consider trash (like bottle caps and empty cans), they have new names that make them sound glorious and awe-inspiring. It's hilarious to see.

But are these funny items scattered throughout a new set of picture-book-pretty worlds to explore? NO! Instead, you get to experience the beautiful outdoor environments for a period of about four seconds before being forced into a long series of underground tunnels. Seriously, the entire game takes place in the tunnels! Each tunnel is nearly identical to the last, and it gets extremely boring. And if things could possibly get worse than that, there are no more logic-puzzles to solve. No, the only thing you do in these underground labyrinths is fight monsters! I didn't mind the fighting in the first game, since it not the whole focus, but here, it gets extremely repetitive, extremely fast. After a few hours' worth of tunnel-crawling, I felt ready to cry from boredom and sheer disappointment.

Words cannot describe the sadness this game caused me. When the first Pikmin released, I felt like I had been given a VIP pass to my own private wonderland. With this second entry, my trip to paradise got tied up in tunnels.

1-0 out of 5 stars I will say it again
Just another sequel to the GAYcube IT FREAKIN SUCKS understand those 3 words and youll great or a Gay fruit

3-0 out of 5 stars Not as Good
I loved the first Pikmin game so much that I was extremely excited when I found out they would be making a sequel. After reading great reviews, I was even more excited. When I finally got the game I played for two days then stopped. The game was fun but very repetitive. The only thing that brought down this game was the caves.Level after level of the same basic thing - and that's pretty much all there is to the game. The main thing I loved about the first one was the large, open areas.Being inside the caves is restricting and at times difficult to see - mostly because of the camera angle restriction. It is a fun game, but it could have been much better. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great fun - Great songs
I picked up Donkey Konga (the first one) after I got Donkey Konga 2, because of the great song list in Donkey Konga. The graphics aren't quite as good, but it's just as much fun!

In essence you get 30 reproductions of songs to sing along with - from classics like Louie Louie to classic music songs, from Legend of Zelda to the Pokemon theme song. I really LOVE this song collection and think they provide songs that all ages will enjoy.

There are different levels of gameplay, from beginner to advanced. In fact, if you do really well, you can earn remix versions of songs and buy truly advanced versions to play along with. Plus, there are multiplayer versions that let multiple players play together or in competition with each other.

There are mini-games to test your skills, and a shop where you can trade in your earned points for new bongo sets.

I've heard some people say they get bored after a few months of playing the same songs over and over again. Heck, most games out there only keep your interest for a week or two! Plus, half the fun here is simply playing along. If you were in a band, would you complain on tour that you were tired of playing the same songs? :)

Really, you get all the fun of Donkey Konga 2 plus a far better song set. The minor drop in graphics really isn't a big deal at all. Of course it'd be great if, like with the XBox, you could simply download new song sets that you enjoyed. That way they could let you buy one game, and then download whatever types of songs you liked to sing. Kids could download the kid songs, adults could download the classic rock songs, and teens could go for the pop-hip-hop stuff. But until Nintendo gets its online act together, I don't mind them coming out with a whole series of Donkey Konga games, each with a different song set. I'll gladly collect them all!

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun party game!
This game is a fun party game. We took our bongos up to a family gathering and had everyone in the house clamoring over them! It was a hoot!

3-0 out of 5 stars Grate game!
Donkey Konga, a mix of music, bongos, and (no other than) Donkey Kong. I only own about 5 Gamecube games because I like PS2 better. This is a pretty fun game. You get a whole bunch of songs and drum to the beat of it. The songs are not very new but.... what the heck! Some song are "Wild Thang", "All the Small things", and some gamecube game's theams. Like Zelda and Pokemon. There are mini gaems you can buy with coins you get from drumming in "Street Mix" But, you only get about (if your good) 200 coins every time. The lowest price for a mini game is 4700 coins. How the heck are you supposed to get that with out playing for hours and hours and hours. Plus, the songs are not by the bands that play them, but by people the nentino probley hired to sing. And it`s all because of one word. Copyright! Dang copyright law. That is what gives this game minus one star. Another star down the drain becaues all the minigame and songs for different modes and the fun sounds( Insteand of the bongs soung, you can do different souds, like dogs) cost WAY TO MUCH! I am hoping Donkey Konga 2 will be better

5-0 out of 5 stars fun all around
Okay, if your out for a game to teach your kids to count, this isnt something you need.now if you are looking for something to entertain your hyperactive cousin while his/her parents are out, then this is a really good idea.at first, it is kinda difficult to play because you feel alittle ridiculous, but i promise that feeling will pass.the only problem i have found with this game is it is EXTREMLY adictive.the rythym fills you and all of your problems melt away.everything seems trivial as you beat on the drums.but your hands do get pretty raw after about 3 hours of clapping and slapping.but like i said, its pretty hard to stop.if you have a hard time getting the kids to do chores now, wait till they start to beat the drums and play along to thier favorite songs.once you play you wont be able to wait for the release of the next game in this series!

4-0 out of 5 stars Good game for kids ages 6 and up!
Although this game hurts your hands from hitting the bongos and clapping a lot, it's all worth it!You can play some of your favorite songs on this game and you'll go bananas for some of them!I really like this game because up to 4 players can play, even without the bongos. This game will get you off your feet and get you into the groove! ... Amazon.com Review

It’s a pretty bold claim but for many, Mario Party is the best multiplayer game series ever. No need for guns or complicated role-playing elements here--Mario Party is fun because it’s simple. The original N64 game created an entirely new subgenre--an unlikely combination of traditional board games and lots of ultrasimple arcade titles. The idea is that you travel around the board trying to collect stars, which must be paid for with coins, and you get coins by competing in minigames, which occur at the end of every round. These minigames generally don’t last longer than a minute or two, and many are based on old Game & Watch titles. There are over 50 minigames in Mario Party 4, and each involves either a free-for-all, two players against two, or one against three (depending where you land on the board at the end of your turn). These can involve anything from skydiving to basketball dunking, or car racing to hide-and-seek, to name a few.

Admittedly, this basic description of the gameplay might not sound too exciting, and indeed if you’re playing with less than three human opponents it can be pretty tedious. But play it with the full complement of non-virtual rivals and the game’s infinite capacity for cheating, backstabbing, and ganging up allows it to completely transcend the humdrum sum of its parts. There’s nothing terribly new in this third sequel except that the graphics are much improved and the minigames are all new, but that really misses the point: get this game out at Christmas instead of Trivial Pursuit and you’ll wonder how you ever got through the holiday without it. --David Jenkins, Amazon.co.uk ... 5-0 out of 5 stars I love Mario.
I love every Mario game known to man and this one rocks!!!! (I
actually don't like Mario Party 6 but that's it)!!! I played this game 2 summers ago all the time!!! This is a good game and it has really good graphics. I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars slightly dissapointed but hey who cares!
I'm Espio and I love all of the mario party games from 1-6 but Mario Party 4 is one I was dissapointed in. First lets go through some downsides. Its quite slow compared to some of the other games, some of the items are...well...chee-seey and some of the boards are not so great.Hey now for good stuff.Shy-Guys board rocks!plain and simple, the mini games are great and the graphics well their boss! So if your a big fan of the series like me then get it it's cool but if your looking for your first Party then I recomend Mario Party 1 or 2.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love this game
I love to play this at frieds houses! The mini games are the best. It's the best one in the Mario series!

2-0 out of 5 stars Sorry Mario, but Mr. Insanity is crashing this party.
This game functions and no more. If you want to Mario Party, I would recommend all three for the N64.
First I will wail on the graphics. They are good and smooth. It does not feel like the characters are made of polygons. But everything is empty. Eye candy is good, but we need more. The board maps are like a empty field.
Sound was a big thing in the first three parties, but has become weak. The annoucer was a big part, but seems uninterested. Music is WAY too simple for what the first three had.
    Gameplay: Functions but is uninteresting.
Game: It's your birthday and some guys want to throw you a party! Yes, the stories may have been weak in Mario's parties, but you do not care. You go from map to map with six in all. What you do is collect money and try to buy some stars. The one with the most stars wins the game. In between rows of die you play a mini game. Which destroyed this game into so-so. They are all creative, but they many have the same controls. I bet there are more than three games there that ask you to hit the A-button as fast as you can!
Overall, this game functions. And you should look for an N64 for Mario's older parties. I am not going to review them, but I strongly recommend the first three.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Game That'll Keep You Asking For More
To start out with, I'd like to say that I only have Mario Party 2 and Mario Party 4. To me, 4 seems better board-wise, but 2 has funner mini-games.

Mario Party 4 introduces, instead of the normal Toad hosts every game formula, different hosts for each board. The boards in this game are spectacular. Ranging from tropical soirees to haunted houses, Mario Party 4 seems to excell in boards.

The only board I was a bit disappointed with was Toad's Midway Madness (an amusemant park board with a roller coaster you can ride, and the only board in the game hosted by Toad), and it's because of the first part. The tea cups- which alternate directions everytime someone rides them- can leave someone wasting pointless time running around in a circle for half the game. I like the tea cup idea, but not if it's going to send me in circles!

Goomba's Greedy Gala (hosted by Goomba) is a casino board, and in the earlier Mario Party games, there is always a board that is seperated into four different boards (for 1 it was Wario's Board, for 2 it was Mystery Land). This one is the board for Mario Party 4. In the middle is a roulette, and you spin it to decide which small board you're going to go to. If the ball lands on a star, you get to chose which direction you go in and you get 20 coins!

Shy Guy's Jungle Jam seemed like the most boring board on Mario Party 4, but in truth, it's actually quite fun. You can go in all sorts of directions, and you can have Shy Guy- the host of the board- flood the river which runs through the middle of the board, so players cannot cross it for a certain amount of turns. The biggest bonue of this one is the eagle, who can fly you from one point of the board to the other, and sometimes it'll let you collect coins on the way.

Boo's Haunted Bash is hosted by none other than Boo. This haunted board, instead of Mario Party 2's Horror Land, which is just a field full of monsters, is a haunted house, and it's probably the most creative. I enjoyed the ghosts. They looked like real ghosts (you could see through them), and the ghost train is a big advantage if you want to get somewhere fast. The see-through floors that appear only when Red Boos stalk the corridors can be annoying, but they make an excellent challenge if you're an expert player.

And to top it all off, Koopa's Seaside Soiree! This is my favorite Mario Party board yet, probably because it's hypnotic. You could sit for fifteen minutes just looking around at all the beautiful sites (made by Koopa, the host). The aquatic water is what fills most of the board. You can see fish swimming in it. Where the beach part of the board is, there are fruits sitting on tanning chairs. Koopa's Seaside Soiree isn't my favorite just because it's the prettiest, it's because the game is very challenging! The monkeys have you slip on banana peels, sending you in a random direction, and if you land on a question mark space in front of Koopa's resort, then you could end up paying a huge sum of coins while watching a tsunami tear the building down! You can also ride a fish to get to different points in the board.

There's also a Bowser Board too, hosted by his son, that's unlockable, but it's nothing much. The lava was nice looking, but it didn't give you many options on where you wanted to go when you got to a fork in the road. If you're mega and you pass Bowser you'll face him in a Mini Game, but that's all that comes to mind for this board.

The mini-games in Mario Party 4 are fun, but some can be a pain. Repeatedly pressing the A button over and over as fast as you can in games like Domination and Slime Time is really annoying, and sometimes you could waste all your energy for nothing. But other games like the skiing game (name, anyone?), Mario Medley and Hop or Pop are very entertaining.

Mario Party 4 has many bonuses that Mario Party 2 doesn't seem to have. The graphics, of course, but also the option to chose the amount of turns you get to have (10, 15, 20, and counting by fives all the way up to 50). Another is the custom mini-game mode, where you get to select a set of mini-games, and that set is the only set of mini-games that will appear at the end of each turn. This is nice for getting rid of those few horribly annoying games that you just can't stand.

All in all, Mario Party 4 is grand game, and is definately worth the fifty bucks! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun can't last 4-ever, but it could've been longer than this
I bought the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
game on Gamecube systom four days ago.I am a horrible game player, and yet, I beat the game in two days. Not because it was easy, (even though some parts were,) but because it was
soooo SHORT.It was VERY fun, but I was quit dissapointed on not facing a boggart on the first day of term, and how you get the patronus charm spell book, and you don't get to save Buckbeak, and don't do as much as SEE a broomstick. However, the parts that were in it were very enjoyable.I was also pleased the makers of the game took notice of other creatures such as Redcaps & Hinnkypunks.I LLLLOOOOVVVEEE Harry Potter, and I think the game could have been better, but I would advise buying it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
This is a good game. Well, I'm a Harry Potter freak and own all four (counting the QWC). But, this game is just that...good. Let me say that it's very, very short. Let me give you an example. I bought it at the mall at about eleven, came home and ate lunch, went into my room and played the game in the length of one o'clock and six o'clock. I finished it as my mom called for dinner. But, this game has some really fun mini games and is even more enjoyable if you own the GameBoy Advance and the GBA version of the game. But I was kind of disappointed that there was no Quidditch or extended game play. Don't get me wrong, playing it over is fun. But, it's just sucks that I could finish it in about six hours. As any other Harry Potter game the music and landscape is great but it can become choppy and can sometimes freeze up. Another big plus to this game is that you can play as Ron, Harry, and Hermione and use their talents and knowledge to get past certain puzzles. But, the downfall of this is that Harry still is the main played character. When I heard all of them were playable I thought they would finally do everything together. Go on and face Voldemort together unlike the first two video games. Turns out Ron (like movie and book) was hurt always hurt or looking for Scabbers and Hermione always ran to get help or was hurt. Sometimes you would just play as Ron or Hermione but Harry had the best inventory of spells and items. But, it is very cool to travel through Hogwarts again and find all the Wizard Cards I missed and to re-live my favorite parts of the game. Over all, I recommend it!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars This game rocks in 2004!!!!!
I am seven years old and I bought this game because I loved the movie.I thought it would be better than the movie.First, you wake up and go to Dark Arts class and while you're there you have to get the spell book and you have to be all three people (Harry, Ron and Hermione).Harry tries first. He is the only one that can jump, which I thought was cool. Then, Ron tries to get the secret passage open successfully.Next, Hermione asks Ron if there is anything in the secret passage.Ron says that it is dark and painful. There are scary creatures in the passage. He fights them.He goes and fights pixies, then he finds his way back.I think this game is popular. My friend has already finished it.I would suggest this game for ages 7+.I think you would like this game a lot if you're seven.

2-0 out of 5 stars Another Trap for HP Fans
This game looks and plays like it was made for great screenshots and nothing else. Of course, the ability to control anyone in your group is nice, but what do you think happens to them while you are not controling them? They are running into the middle of the pack of enemies getting themselves killed instead of staying back and casting spells. Then, when you go to fight enemies that only one spell can harm, like Lomos Duo, the only person who can hurt those enemies happens to be dead! I still wonder why EA chose to go with such a stupid AI.

The graphics of the character are nice, but the scenery is 2-D, which takes away from the splendor of the graphics. The pitiful graphics make the game lag considerably. You would think that because every Gamecube is the same EA would have made the game not lag.

The puzzles seem to be made for mindless 7 year olds with very little common sense. They just take a long time to complete because it takes forever to manuver the crates, boxes and ice cubes which are all plentiful in the puzzles. I also must comment on the tiny list of spells.

There are not many side quests at all. There are only about three: Find the Statues, Find the Cards and the minigames. The minigames are short and easy and do not make up for the fact that QUIDITCH IS NOT INCLUDED. Flying Buckbeak does not make up for the good old broomstick.

The game world is very small. No floors or dungeons to explore as an extra. Just 7 floors, a dungeon (Potions) and the outside that makes the small inside seem even smaller.

The action part is way too easy. I can count on one hand the number of times I was hit by an enemy. There are also about 7 different varieties of them, so you need to get used to hitting the same thing over and over. Also, the NPCs are as lifeless as heck. They don't help advance the plot at all. The plot is very confusing if you havent read the book. I don't even think they ever mentioned Sirius Black had even escaped from Azkaban.

Overall, this game is the second worst I have ever played. Bad planning and a heavy profit motive ruined what could have been a very good game.

4-0 out of 5 stars Best book in series=almost great game
With terrific graphics and wonderful voice acting one can see the polish immediately when playing Harry Potter:POA for the first time.Hogwart's looks incredible and the controls are smooth and intuitive for the most part with the camera getting a little wonky on occasion. My son and I play this together he likes it when we play as Ron since he can find all the hidden goodies. The ability to switch between the main characters of Harry, Ron, Hermione is fun and adds a new dimension as you need to use each of them to solve the puzzles. The lack of a Quidditch match is disconcerting but is made up for by the HIPPOGRIFF and OWL flight challenges.Add a save anywhere system and some downloadable GBA mini-games you have a worthy addition to the Harry Potter game library. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars great game
i think that spongebob the movie may be the most funny, charming, addictive, and kid friendly game of the year. i am also having alot of fun with it, and i am 9. this game is very entertaining, and has levels that younger kids will love playing over again. however, there can be some frustirating levels that even i have difficulty with. overall, i think that this is a great game for kids young and old.

3-0 out of 5 stars Only for one player
My kid loves this game, but the bad part is that only allows one player and it's not really fun for him because he can't play and enjoy when his friends are around. The other thing is that Game Cube games scratch easily. How do you keep a Four old from doing that?

1-0 out of 5 stars Too Frustrating.
The brutal difficulty level on the final boss battle in this game just ruined it for me. Who in the world do they think is playing a game like this? Hardcore Halo fans? If you don't care about finishing a game I guess it doesn't matter. Otherwise expect your little one to be in tears over this.

5-0 out of 5 stars SpongeBob"s best game
This game rockes! If people like SpongeBob, then this is your game to play. So play this great game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun Filled Action
My son who is 5 loves this game. It is entertaining on his level, I'd compare it to the Cat in the Hat game which he also loves very much. It is difficult to find fun games that are easy enough for a 5yr old and this one is definitly a good one. He hasn't stopped playing it yet : ) ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Okay, I Guess
This game was okay. But not for the price I bought it at. I got it at target for 49.99. Not okay. The graphics were okay, the dialouge was cheesy, and the game was not so good. The character never dies,(could be a pro), and the sound was okay.
    Hope to help!

3-0 out of 5 stars This is a kid's game?
Tak seemed awfully hard.I wandered in circles trying to figure out how to get to the blocked cave early in the game.I finally got a Strategy guide and found the bear would toss me.The down river portions were also difficult.I am currently stuck where Tak turns into a squirrel and glides across the canyon.I can make the first glide, but absolutely cannot make it to the other side.I am an adult, and I can't imagine how frustrating parts of this game would be for kids.

1-0 out of 5 stars A horrible game
I rented this game from blockbuster and after an hour's play I am ready to drive back there and return it to them. It is an awful game with terrible graphics, a completely hideous fighting style, and character dialogue that is borderline retarded. Take my advice and go get a good gamecbue game like Prine of Persia 2.

5-0 out of 5 stars Even Better!
This game is even better than the first.I love this game. It is soo funny. The juju's are really funny. The look of this game is better than any I have ever seen.I think that Nick has a great game here. You go into tak's dreams on this one and fight his bad night mares. The dream worlds look really like dreams. It is great. It was a little hard for me on some of the puzzles and this game has side games in it as well.Don't see how anyone could get bored on this game for this reason.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love this game - addicting and fun!
At first the game took a while to adjust to - it is strange, incredibly fast paced, and good times all around.Great for if you're in the mood to get the adrenaline going with a few close friends.

    I'm hooked!!

1-0 out of 5 stars I did not like this game
Although Wario is one of my favorite Nintendo characters, this game definitely has knocked him down the rank a little.I guess I was not expecting the raw anime that this game has.I was very dissapointed.

4-0 out of 5 stars super fun but the control is bad sometimes

Super fun game with many crazy mini-games to beat. I have beaten the first boss. The single player mode is fun but practice is even funnier. It's super hard but oh so damm funny.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Combination of Games
"WarioWare Inc. Mega Party Game$" is the sequel to a Game Boy Advance title, and can be enjoyed by hardcore gamers and old-school players alike! This game features several classic Nintendo Entertainment System and Super NES titles, as well as micro morsels based on arcade and Atari 2600 games and those that are just plain obscure.

This is the type of game which can be enjoyed without a second player, but "Multi-Player Mode" is the best. Games like "Listen to the Doctor" and "Outta My Way!" uniquely use the micro games to dish out delight!

Final Thoughts: There is nothing to dislike about this game. My highest game score in on Metroid, which I played several times before losing.

    - King Koopa

4-0 out of 5 stars Hysterical in more ways than one!
My friend rented this game on a whim when a bunch of us were just hanging out. We always had 4 people playing and a room full of people watching. Either way, the game is so much fun. The gameplay is confusing at first, but you can pick it up pretty quickly. And even if you can't figure it out, the insanity of it all is hilarious. 5-second mini-games with one word commands for instructions play against back drops of dance music growing constantly faster, balloons being inflated at rapid speed to blow you clear to the moon, or the sight of your friends stealing your cards while your back is turned.

There are 3 party versions and a one-player version. I suggest playing as a group. I laughed so hard my stomach ached. We stayed up for hours playing this game. We didn't even care who won, we enjoyed it so much. There are even classic Nintendo games thrown into the mix. Anyone remember that fly-swatter game from Mario Paint? Ok, I won't say anymore. If I give too much away, it won't be as funny when you see it.

Great for any age person, with a room full of good friends. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars A Huge Dissapointment
My family adored Ty the Tasmanian tiger - we all played it over and over. It was easy enough for my five year old and I to both be able to play alone.

I jumped at the chance to buy Ty2 right away, and was so upset by this one. This one just jumps right in to a huge battle with mutliple bad guys from the first game, without giving you a chance to ease in. If I was new to Ty games, maybe I would have liked it better, but there was something about the first game's laid back style that appealed to my family. You could explore that game. In this one, 2 seconds in you are battling a ton of bad guys. There's no into to the story.

Worse, the 2nd battle in has been unbeatable to us. Now we have actually finished the first Ty game, even the harder levels - but my son played this game for exactly one day before he gave up in frustration. Neither he, my husband nor I could get past the huge robots you fight in either the 2nd or third battle, and we ended up in and endless loop trying to kill them. Horribly frustrating, and just sad. They took an excellent game franchise possibility and ruined it. I guess we'll just have to keep playing the first Ty.

4-0 out of 5 stars If you have younger kids, this is the game for you.
It's hard finding 'E' games that really are appropriate for my 7-year-olds; hard enough that they will feel that they have succeeded but not so difficult that they will be frustrated. There are some harder sequences - particularly the first battle sequence - where they needed some help. But, all in all, this has proven to be a great find. With older siblings in the house, we've had to come to terms with video games taking the place of TV time as rewards for our younger boys. This game - and the first (Ty 1) have filled that requirement.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great for kids
As an older gamer who has spent countless hours on platformers, I can't say I enjoyed Ty 2 a whole lot. But knowing that this is a game geared more towards kids, I'd say it does a great job. It vastly improves upon the first Ty by offering an enormous overworld that isn't broken up by obvious load times and levels. The game revolves around realistic missions to perform, giving it a more open-ended feel. The boomerangs play a more important part, too, and some vehicles and mech suits offer a nice addition. However, the different missions can get really redundant. The camera is still a hassle to control. And the impressively large list of collectables is made tedious by the lack of any indication on what area is what. Yet I recommend it to younger gamers, because it's easy and engaging.

5-0 out of 5 stars Dijon Collins sonic freak
I think this game is awesome because its. Ty the tasmanian tiger it took off where ty one took off and. This game is more intresting because you have a bigger and better enviroment. So which makes it better than number one and you should go buy it now. Because this game cant get no better than this they also added a. 4-0 out of 5 stars Glad to see that pac is back
There are two games here, on two separate discs. The first game, Pac Man World 2, is a fun take on the old classic - sort of Pac Man meets Mario.Visually, I thought the game was done well, if not cutting-edge graphics-wise.Unlike the original, this game is 3-D and carries a bit more of a story, things that help draw you through the various levels.Further, the levels are challenging, but not too hard for an old fuddy-duddy like me.Sure, my kids tore through the game (as usual, but had fun doing it), but at least I was able to keep up with them.

The second game, Pac Man Vs. requires a gameboy advance with the link cable. Therefore, if you do not have this equipment, you will not be able to play it.However, at the price this game pack sells for, and with the quality of the Pac Man World, I don't think that you will be disappointed even if you don't have the gameboy advance. However, if you do, the Vs. game allows multiple players to pit themselves against each other in the classic roles - ghosts and the orbed one. Thus comes forth the second stipulation for the game:it is really only fun when you have multiple players.

While getting two game discs for the price of one seems a bargain, because of the requirements of Pac Man Vs. (game boy advance, cable, and (arguably) multiple players), I would think of this game as a bonus disc rather than an integral part of the purchase. The quality of Pac Man World is good, and the creators do a fine job integrating features of the game (and cartoon, for that matter). In fact, you can play the various classic Pac games within the game, thus adding to the "bonus" content. If you are an old Pac-Man fan like me, then this game will be more fun than a mouthful of power pellets.

3-0 out of 5 stars Overhyped
Eh! The first game, Pac Man World 2 seems to be uninspired. The controls, which, for me, are a very important part of an 3d adventure game, aren't quite right. They aren't wrong, its just they need more subtle tweaking for more enjoyable game play. I should state that I'm not very far into this game and things could change but I'm not expecting them to.

The second game, Pac Man Vs. is a good amount of fun for about 45 minutes at a time when you have 3 or 4 people. I found it to be kinda boring when there are only two people playing.

For the price this isn't a bad deal. Just don't expect a four or five star game play for a bargain bin price point.

4-0 out of 5 stars If youre a Pac Man fan get this.
I remember playing the original Pac Man on the arcade around the time it came out and since then Ive always been a fan.I also bought a Playstation back aroung 1994 and Pac Man World was my favorite game for that console. It just blew everything else right out of the water. If you still have a Playstation you owe it to yourself to get that game and while Pac Man World 2 is not as good as that it is still an excellent game. The main game isnt all that original but it is still pretty fun.I found myself liking the mazes more than most of the main game but since there a lot of mazes I cant complain too much.A few parts of the volcano levels can be pretty frustrating but overall its pretty damn easy.I still think its more fun than Luigis Mansion and Super Mario Sunshine because its more like a standard platform game in 3D which is pretty cool. You can also unlock old Pac Man games in the arcade room in this game.If youre a fan of platform games or just like Pac Man you should definitely go out and get this.

    4-0 out of 5 stars Pac's Back
Yes, Pac is back in this 3-D world of adventure and fun that you just couldn't possibly put down.It starts off telling the story of how the ghosts steal the golden fruit from the tree that accidentally unleashes a ghoul ghost called Spooky that attacks Pac and his people. That is when you are sent on a journey into this amazing three-dimensional world of wacky fun and with a bit of old new twists. The game looks exciting, yet difficult at points in the game when you get further down the way. There's special mazes that you can go through when getting a special item that is pretty fun.Without a doubt, Pac-Man World 2 is a highly addictive game.Try it.You'll have fun.

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice bundle
The Pac Man video games were some of the first to be truly successful in the video game industry, so it's not surprising that Namco has revived the character in recent years. Pac Man has starred in a number of different types of games over the years, and here he stars in a three-dimensional platformer. The game has now been rereleased with a bonus multiplayer game! Read on for my review of the Pac Man World 2 Bundle.

    -Pac Man World 2-

    PROS:
-The graphics for this game very good, in particular those of the cut scenes. The cut scenes really must be seen to be fully appreciated.
-The controls are, for the most part, pretty easy to learn. You should be able to pick them up pretty quickly.
-There are a number of things to hunt down in every level, which slightly boosts the replay value of the game.

    CONS:
-The control scheme has a number of problems, which are particularly noticable when you're in the heat of battle, or trying to make a virtually impossible jump.
-Much like the recent Sonic games, the camera is pretty lame. It has a tendency to get stuck on pretty much anything and everything, which can really hurt your gaming experience.
-The swimming controls flat out suck, mostly due to continually-shifting camera angles underwater. You shouldn't include swimming stages in a video game unless you can get it right!
-In the end, this ends up being a pretty generic three-dimensional platformer. There are considerably better games of the same genre available. The game comes off seeming like something intended more for younger players.

    -Pac Man Vs.-

    PROS:
-This is an extremely fun multiplayer game. One player uses a Game Boy Advance to control Pac Man, while the other players control ghosts on the TV who try to defeat Pac Man. This is a great new twist on an old favorite, and you can do two, three, or four players.

    CONS:
-This game REQUIRES a Game Boy Advance/Gamecube link cable, and a Game Boy Advance. That means that it could ultimately end up costing you over a hundred dollars just to play this game!
-It's multiplayer only. There is no single-player mode!
-As with any game, it's funnest with as many people as possible, and there usually won't be that many people around who are willing to play.

    OVERALL:
Overall Pac Man World 2 is nothing special, and in my opinion is only worthy of a three out of five. Pac Man Vs., on the other hand, is a multiplayer masterpiece, and it bumps this package's score up to a four out of five. And at the extremely low MSRP, you can't lose with this set. Just make sure you have all the necessary equipment to play Pac Man Vs. BEFORE you buy the game! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The first Power Ranger game for Gamecube, YAY!!
This game kicks butt!! I've always wanted a Power Ranger game for Gamecube and here it is!!! I loved this game because not only it's the first Power Ranger game for Gamecube but it includes lots of challedging missions and you can also play as the rangers' zords but I give this 4 stars of fun because you can't play as the rangers, only the zords and also the NS and WF zords can ONLY be played in the Power Games levels. But since I loved Power Rangers, I still loved this game even though its short and all.

1-0 out of 5 stars Really for the little kiddies!
So who came up with the concept of this game. I would have expected this type of gameplay on the Gameboy, but the power of the GameCube could have been utilized more in the making of this game. You pretty much just battle as the Megazords. My son who is 5 years old doesn't even want to play the game anymore. He played it on the first day for just half and hour and got bored. He kept complaining that the game is boring and that he wanted to go back to the store to get a different game. It may be great for the kids who are just getting into video games. But it can be boring for the older kids. The game can be put to better use as a coaster for your drinks. Try before you buy!

3-0 out of 5 stars mom of a 4 yr old
My son, 4 years old, loves this game.It is very easy for him to play.A power ranger tells you what your objectives are and basically leads you to them.I don't believe this is a game for 7 year olds and up.It's to easy.My son loves being one of the dino thunder characters and is able to shoot enemies without any violence (i.e. blood gore, adult language, etc.)

2-0 out of 5 stars Too easy
My 10 year old finished this game in under six hours (including many of the bonus levels). That's 6 hours.

Visually OK, the graphics are nothing special and glitchy in one or two places.

Thst said, the kids (5+10) certainly enjoyed it but I'd suggest anyone with children older than 8 get something else. Children love to finish games off but I don't think it indicates good value for money. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Sometimes simple is better
This is a terrific collection of "classic" pinball tables made by Gottleib.Featuring 7 tables and one unlockable the pinball machines chosen represent a nice segement of the companies history. Each machine plays differently thanks to the thought that went into the variety of tables included. The graphics are tremendous with each table really coming to life, also incredible is the flipper control and ball physics which really feel like real pinball, the c- stick operated plunger feels right as do the R and L flipper controls although the tilt mechanism relegated to the main analog control is touchy. Each table has a goal that when reached unlocks an arcade game for that table, couple that with a few unlockable modes and historical data and instruction for each machine read by a narrator and you have an incredibly well rounded video game for pinball neophytes and experts alike.Recommended for those of us who don't have room for real pinball machines in our game rooms.

5-0 out of 5 stars Nicely done
One of my favorite games on the Cube. Excellent voice acting and the graphics are outstanding. But what really shines are the wacky inventions and the puzzles. Not a button mashing game, this one make you think. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game from beginning to end.

4-0 out of 5 stars Goodness
Awesome game for kids! There are some problems with the camera angles that I fight with, but overall it's a good game. It's not so difficult that you get hung up trying to get past this certain part. You can actually sit back and enjoy the game. Graphics are excellent

5-0 out of 5 stars A joy for all family members
We gave our son the gamecube for Christmas and one of the games was Wallace & Gromit.I have never been a big fan of video games but once I tried W&G I was hooked. Our son loves it and my wife just laughs as he and I both try to get through the levels. The animation is outstanding and very fluid.

It has been frustrating for me to learn how to operate the controls but if they make another game with these guys I will buy it for our entire family!

3-0 out of 5 stars I wish it was better
I love Wallace and Gromit.I couldn't wait to play this game. However, I am disappointed.I found the graphics to be very well done, but the camera jumps so much that every time I play, I get motion sickness.Sometimes the camera jumps so much that you walk right off of platforms. 4-0 out of 5 stars Great Game to Learn On
We just got a GameCube. This game is sooooo much easy than "Scooby Doo and 100 Frights".You save more often and our 6 yr old can do most of the stuff. We actually got to the end of the game. wow! There are some difficult parts where the kid will throw the control at you and say, "You do it!"I would recommend this to any young gaming newcomer.

4-0 out of 5 stars Like in The Simpsons:Scooby Doo can Doo Doo!
This game is just too hard. I'm stuck in Episode 2:Mayhem at The Movies with only one clue. The graphics are OK. But Velma's hands are too big,and some other character's hands have dark fingers. Velma's,Fred's and Shaggy's smile are too big indeed. but, othervise: This game is exellent.

4-0 out of 5 stars Much more fun for the younger players
I bought my son a gamecube for Christmas and Scooby Doo Night of 1000 Frights. He loves the game but some of the levels are extremely hard for someone of his age. When he saw the commercial for the Mystery Mayhem game he of course really wanted it.Given the difficulty level of the first game, I was at first reluctant to purchase (my son is 5 and relatively new to the video game scene). However, after caving in and getting it, I am really glad I did.The levels are much easier for him to manuever and he really loves being able to play as Scooby or Shaggy. If he gets stuck I can usually help him through (in the Night of 1000 Frights some of the levels were too difficult for me!)Anyway, he really loves the game and the fact that is seems to be geared more toward younger players is a major plus.Overall I would say a big hit for the younger players, older more experienced gamers might find it a little too easy.Hope this is helpful. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Just as I remember it....
Puyo Pop Fever is the latest installment of the Puyo Puyo puzzler series and has been revamped with an enhanced game engine that includes the new Fever mode, a larger assortment of characters, and additional modes. The Puyo Puyo series has a long and cryptic history here in the States. While a mainstay for the puzzler genre in Japan, Puyo Puyo has been released in many alternate forms, masking its origins over here. Veteran puzzler gamers will recognize the game engine as the same exact one from the Genesis and Game Gear's Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine and the SNES's Kirby's Avalanche. Fever shares a lot with many other puzzler games; Puyo blocks drop down from the screen, and players try to combine four in a row to send a nuisance Puyo over to their opponent until their screen fills up---you can also unleash chain combos for devastating effects. But the new Fever mode adds a definite frantic dimension to the game. During a match, you build up your Fever gauge by eliminating Puyos, and when it's full, you'll enter Fever mode, which gives you a screen full of triple Puyo sets---one well-placed Puyo can set off a unstoppable chain saving you from the brink of disaster or unleashing a fatal blow to your opponent. The only limitation Fever has is that it supports only two players.
Additional enhancements in Fever included larger quadruple Puyo clusters, a 16-character lineup (two of which are unlockable), four courses, Free Battle mode in single player, three default rule settings, the ability to edit rules for versus mode, and three Endless Puyo Pop "classic" games. While single-player and Endless Puyo Pop modes are engaging, they can only really be considered training for the Versus mode. When you play against an actual person, the gameplay becomes faster paced and furious. Players must learn to adapt and process enormous amounts of information in a split second, paying attention to their current Puyo pile, the next Puyo piece, their Fever gauge, and their nuisance Puyo bank on the top of the screen. If you don't have any triple Puyo sets on your screen, the nuisance Puyo bank will unleash its contents. This will screw up your screen, and you'll hear the annoying chants of your opponent's character as he buries you. The characters are all well balanced and have varying styles and strategies, and they seem to be well designed to annoy the heck out of you while you play. There's nothing like the feeling of doom as you're fixated on your screen while you here the chants of the opposing character making chain after chain combos. With single, versus, and three endless modes, and 16 available characters, Fever is as addictive as it gets.

5-0 out of 5 stars doctor, I have puyo pop fever!
ok, then. I liked this game because it is somewhat original (look for puyo pop on the gba).I gave this game a 5 in fun because the in-game action is constant.I gave this game a 4 in educational value because you have to be looking at ALL times at your playing field, looking for possible matches.Gamecube disks are probably hard to break (none of mine have!)

4-0 out of 5 stars A great compilation with some flaws
Overall, this collection of Megaman games isn't too bad. There are a few flaws, but the good overshadows the bad.

Most people complain about the controls (with the B button being jump and A being fire). But if you're not giving this game a chance simply because of this, you've given up much too easily. I will concede that the controls should have been customizable, however, it doesn't take long to get used to this setup.

All eight classic Megaman games are here, along with two unlockable bonus games, Megaman Power Fighters and Megaman Power Fighters (previously released only in arcades). While the remixed music from the Playstation 2 version is absent, this version still has the "Navi Mode", which features hints and improved in-game weapon menu graphics for the NES games.

All the games play like their old selves, and while the graphics may be simple, the games are still a lot of fun. I recommend this to anyone who wants an old-school challenge or eight.

4-0 out of 5 stars Flawed
The games in this compilation are excellent. I am not concerned with how good this compilation is. I will just say that it is excellent. The games were badly ported. For one, the controls are messed up for the GC version. In the GC version, you cannot access the remixed music. You should still buy it, but if you have a PS2, that is the version you should get.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hard But So Rockingly FUN!!!!
    Writer: Kole
Despite that Mega man anniversary collection is hard it's really cool! But it being hard is cool! My overall favorite dude is in mega man 8, the clown boss!

"this is no joky matter" and "You don't stand a chance" are his two beggining annoying lines! He says them in a really baby weenie way. Mega man anniversary collection also has two never released in the U.S. games, Tons of special feature stuff and tons of levels to explore!

I also like that in Mega man 8, you get bolts in the levels and can buy things!

After every boss you defeat you also get new attacks, for example, after defeating the clown boss you get the electro beam thing, mega man changes color and you can shoot a beam of electricifing destruction!

The power battles {games 9 and 10 I think, mybe just 9} You get to do two player, To any mega man fan or not, I highly recommend this kick butt game!

5-0 out of 5 stars Still Better Than a Lot of the 3D Platformers Out There...
The amazing thing about some older games is how well they age. Case in point--"Mega Man Anniversary Collection," a collection of Mega Man's 8 "Classic" series games, plus two unlockable arcade games that were never released in the U.S.

The formula for a "Mega Man" game is as follows: select a stage, defeat the boss, use their weapon to destroy some other boss, rinse lather, and repeat, until all bosses are defeated. Now, trek to Dr. Wily's fortress, go through the 3 or 4 stages there, and then meet up with a really huge robotic monstrosity at the end and defeat it. Now, try that for 8 games.

You know, viewing it as cut-and-dry as that, it seems like this might get tiring or even boring, but believe me, Capcom's little Blue Bomber manages to stay interesting and challenging all throughout the 10 different installments (though the arcade titles are a bit saccharine for my tastes). Considering the majority of these games were made ten to fifteen years ago, it speaks volumes on the integrity and experience that went into level design, character creation, and especially music. The older tracks may still be in their original 8- and 16-bit glory, but I dare you to listen to this masterful music and scoff. You'll be humming some of them the rest of the day, believe me.

These ports of the classic games run almost flawlessly, with most graphical glitches and flickering cut down to negligible or nonexistent levels. As far as changes go, there is now a hint-filled Navi mode for the first six games that eases younger or less-experiences players into Mega's big blue boots. You may use your shoulder buttons to flick through your special weapons' cache, a la "Mega Man"s 7 & 8, use in-game menus to manually save your game, or you can even dust off your old password notebook and use those to get right back to where you left these games years ago. One more interesting (and awfully helpful) feature is that a rapid-fire button has been added to your control set. Very handy indeed.

Also, one of the largest draws of this title, besides the classic gameplay stylings, are the unlockables that have been promised. Besides the aforementioned arcade games, original sketches of character art and remixed music can be unlocked after making certain amounts of progress through games. On the GameCube, you are also treated to a special unlockable video about the creation and history of Mega Man, complete with an interview with the creator himself, Keiji Inafune. On the PS2 version, I've been told you can unlock the first episode of the Saturday "Mega Man" cartoon show. Maybe we Kyoob owners did get a better deal here than the PS2 following...hmm...

But now comes the bad news. On the GameCube version (though I'm not sure this holds on the PS2), the button setup seems oddly reversed, and there is no option to change your control scheme. B is your jump button, and A fires your weapon. This makes no sense in the grand scheme of things, because it makes it very difficult to jump and fire at the same time, and due to the nature of the twitchy gameplay, the reversing of the buttons (and no option to change the settings) can get very, very frustrating. However, if you're willing to tough it out and face the fact that you won't get through those blasted snowboarding levels in "Mega Man 8" every time, you shouldn't slam your controller down too hard at the end of the day. Perhaps Atomic Planet should have taken a lesson from "Mega Man Network Transmission," and kept B as the traditional Fire button. At least that game got SOMETHING right.

Also, I noticed that some of the voice samples in MM8 (while--unfortunately--being as terrible as the originals) were either sped up or slowed down, for whatever reason. It's especially apparent in Aqua Man's voice--I mean, I knew it was high, but I don't think it was originally that high.

The look of these titles is spot-on with everything in the originals, which means if you want the graphical prowess that some games today offer (i.e. "Halo" or "Zelda"), take your money elsewhere.

The bottom line concerning MMAC: it's a collection of top-notch platforming titles that helped build Capcom's empire, a genuinely fun time-travel trip, and a worthy tribute to our buddy the Blue Bomber.

5-0 out of 5 stars At last, the good Mega Man!
Take it from me, Mega Man is not doing so good these days. This brings brings back the best moments he ever had. A lot of people are complaining about the controller, but you will get used to it. The only game not worth it is Mega Man 7. Also, a lot are complaining about the graphics. What do you expect from the orginal NES games (Exclude arcade and MM 8)?
In order to unlock the special features such as the hidden games or music, you need to get to a certain point in each of the eight games.
A good thing about this is that you can now set the game on easy instead of super hard.
It is so hard, it will rip your arm off and beat you with it. But if you put enough hours, you can win by instinct.
The game is so hard, I feel for you. Just click on my name and look for my e-mail at the bottom of about me. Send me an request and I will send you a guide for exposing the bosses weaknesses. Unless you actually know me, please do not put anything personal in the request. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I love this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this game because it is fun and very challening. You really have to think for some of the parts, because they are tricky. I love the jungle scenes, they look so cool. The graphics are very nice too. Alot of the levels are hard, though. It's really cool how there is a talking jaguar! The enemies are mostly the natives. You see them alot but if you sweep kick them once or twice, they are usually dead. This game isn't violent either. This is the best game ever to walk this Earth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Vision
The graphics for this game are WAY too dark.My family couldn't see well unless we had our face right up to the screen. Not for those who value their eyesight!
What we did play(before accruing a giant headache) was fun and interesting; but no one in the family can see the game well enough to play it.
For this reason, I don't recommend this game.Save your money!

4-0 out of 5 stars Solid platformer
We have a problem. We expect too much out of games. We expect every new platformer to somehow revolutionize the genre. This is why Pitfall has received little acclaim; it tries nothing new. And you know what? That's okay. Sometimes a simple romp in the jungle can bring hours of fun, which is exactly what you'll get if you just like straight platform action without having to deal with level objectives and collect-a-thons and "clever" takes which ultimately go bad. Pitfall stays true to its roots, packs a lot of charm, and is fun to the very end. Unfortunately, the end is sooner than I would like. This shortness, and a few bugs in the game, cause me to knock a star out, but I still highly recommend Pitfall as a weekend rental to adventure/platform fans.

4-0 out of 5 stars My kids and I love it!
This is one of our family's favorite.
