Editorial Review In puzzle mode, playerscontrol blocks as they descend from the top to the bottom of the screen. As they fall, you can spin blocks so that they land next tocorresponding colors at the bottom of the screen. Gameplay is just likethe original only with a few major twists. The bin that holds the piecesat the bottom of the screen starts out partially filled, while a littleprofessor character climbs on top of the stack. Your job is to clearlines of blocks so that the professor can reach the exit at the bottomof the bin before a spiked ceiling smacks him in the head. Two playerscan also duke it out in puzzle mode, sending cleared lines to theiropponent's bin. This isn't the best version of Tetris we've everplayed, but it does still manage to offer a lot of entertainment for itslow price. --T. Byrl Baker Pros: Reviews (16)

Editorial Review The graphics in Abe's Oddyssee convey a unique personality, whichis often lacking in platform action games. Still, a few pretty gameenvironments will not distract you from the devious puzzles scatteredthroughout the game. Fortunately, you never run out of lives inOddworld: Abe's Oddysee. Instead, Abe rematerializes immediatelyafter you "die" and the game continues from the last checkpoint youreached. This approach encourages exploration, which you'll want to doanyway since this is one of the most beautiful 2-D games we've seen.--T. Byrl Baker Pros: Features Reviews (19)
The premise is deceptively simple--you must rescue 99 of your fellow Mudokons from becming canned ham. There are enough puzzles and traps to keep things hopping for a long time to come. I'd advise getting the strategy guide as well. It'll save you some grey hairs and bald spots. ... Read more

Editorial Review But there are limitations to this hip tool--namely memory space, which on the PlayStation is scant at best.Still, the disc itself contains over 1,500 pre-recorded musical riffs and over 3,000 instrument sounds for youto mix and match as you like. Once the basic music is laid down, players can tinker with the sounds, addingeffects such as reverb. In addition, the MTV Music Generator enables budding artists to samplemusic from their own audio CDs, but this is where the memory problem comes into play, limiting yoursamples to mere seconds. No prior knowledge of music theory or editing is required to play with this disc, and when using thepre-recorded music snippets, which are varied and numerous, the resulting songs can be quite amazing. While this piece of software may be better suited for a PC with a fat hard disk full of storage space,MTV Music Generator is a completely original title for the PlayStation, and it manages to cleverlyuse the system's capability to play music in a unique way. --Jeff Young Pros: Features Reviews (31)

Editorial Review Causing mass mayhem and destruction is not your only purpose in this game. You mustalso rescue your fellow monsters in crime--George, Lizzie, and Ralph (which manydie-hard fans of the Rampage series will recognize from the original coin-op). Tosave your friends, you must first defeat the ever-approaching military and lawenforcement officials that aim to protect each city. Being bad has never felt so good.--Michael Byer Pros: Reviews (3)
It is a few year after the original incident. George Ralph and Lizz have bed captured. You can choose to play asone of 7 monster after passwords are entered. It called universl tour because unlike the first not all of it takes place on Earth.A small percent of game takes place in outer space. There are four new Monster in this one at the Begining you can play as three of seven monster.Boris a reall big strong but slowrhino.Rubby a giant crab a short of rip of Ebirath from Godzilla versus the Sea monsters.Curtis giant rat. Then Muckous aone eyedalien. You also can play as George, Ralph and Lizz after passwords are entered. I used to ownthis game on Nintendo 64 format but somehow I lost it.A good game if you enjoy this game I recomend Rampage 1WourldTour and Rampage Warp Through time.

Amazon.com Product Description The game allows you to play as any one member of the team: cover-girl assassins Hana Tsu-Vachel or Rain Qin, master operative Royce Glas, or greedy killer Jakob "Deke" Decourt. The game's variable ending changes with the disposition of certain in-game events, and other hidden features promise added replayability. Reviews (14)
Also, the cutscenes are very nicely done, with excellent voice acting and realistic animation. And the music is extremely cool, with oriental themes that add real atmosphere to some of the environments. My favorite part of the game is when you're on the 96th floor of a bio-engineering building, and you have to collect a large number of objects and use them to solve a grand puzzle - it's all laid out very logically and is super fun to play and figure out.You even get to drive a mech at a couple points in the game. Overall, it doesn't get much better than this!

Editorial Review This time around, Dan's been yanked from his eternal slumber onceagain, only to find himself inside a museum in Victorian England, wherean occultist named Palethorn has wakened the dead. Dan must defeatthese walking fossils, using his sword and other weapons, while alsosolving an array of puzzles. Dan's got some new moves to help him alongthe way, including the ability to stick his skull onto a walking handso that he can search inside small cracks. Compared to the series debut, MediEvil II offers bettergraphics, but isn't quite as funny. The original's 3-D camera problemshaven't been fixed and in some cases are worse than before, but overallMediEvil II makes for a worthy follow-up. --Robb Guido Pros: Reviews (27)

Editorial Review All of the racing characters possess special powers and unique tracks designed around their personas. ChocoboRacing contains five challenging racing modes, including grand prix (four-track tournament), time attack, versus(two-player racing), relay race, and story mode. We were particularly intrigued by the story mode, which placesChocobo in an old-fashioned pop-up storybook as he aims to collect several scattered blue crystals. We also liked the high replay value of this game. For example, a racing victory may reward players with the ability tocustomize a character. Chocobo Racing is far from a sophisticated racer--and, in fact, that is part of the appeal. This is an easy game to learn, so younger players can pick up a controller and play with little trouble. Still, plenty ofchallenges hide in the detailed tracks, which are filled with time-zapping traps and treacherous curves. --CarrieBell Pros: Reviews (17)
- The graphics are about average in the racing, to above average in the movies.

Editorial Review The animation and humor are reminiscent of Tim Burton'sThe Nightmare Before Christmas. If this alone isn't enough to thrill you, the difficulty level will. This is one of the few games that seems to keep itself near the perfect level--difficult enough to keep you interested, easy enough to keep you from getting frustrated. The perspective perfectly complements the gameplay and animation style: the 3-D follow-cam allows you, in most places, to look around with ease. And you'll want to take time to see the sights, since the game looks as good as it plays. This game isn't just for the hard-core gamer. It's for everyone. --John Cocking Pros: Features Reviews (45)

Editorial Review Pretty pictures aside, the battle system in SaGa Frontier 2 isoutstanding, allowing for combat to be as micromanaged or as mindless as playerssee fit. In addition to assigning in-battle character roles (such as support, intimidation, and so on), players can choose between multiple battle modes andexecute elaborate attack combos (similar to that of fighting games). Like its predecessor, SaGa Frontier 2 puts a spin on the genre byfeaturing multiple storylines that converge at various points in the game
