A Fun little game
This unique little game lets you fly rc helicopters, it involes the use of both joysticks to piolt you copter though the different trials. It's pretty fun, but with there isn't a whole lot to do in the game. If it had an battle mode or something...

Annoying game, could have been better
The first thing your going to do when you play this game is mute your TV. Almost any move you attempt will cause your virtual instructor to make some kind of comment. This gets real old, real fast, aspecially when you realize how difficult it is to fly one of the RC Copters.
Any little tap on the controls, sends your copter out of control, so the last thing you need to hear is none stop, repeaded joking comments.

The layout of this game sucks. Your restricted to a little peice of land for each stage, so if your looking for a game where you can fly around and explore, then this is not your game.

I personally have never flown a remote controlled copter before, but if this game is accurate, then I'm not ever going to waste my money on something that will end up having an ultimate destiny of being smashed to pieces out of frustration.

So is this game worth it? Maybe, if you get it really, really, really cheap, or if you have already mastered remote controlled copters in the real world. If they make another one of these games, then they need to add a whole lot more to it. Some may like it, but I don't.

Heli Flight
Heli flight is 10x more difficult than model airplanes. The training program on this game is great. If it didn't have that automatic help, you'd be all over the place. Like starting out with an ace helicopter. This game does in fact help you fly REAL model helis. The only catch is, you MUST use the dual shock analog controller and use the two joysticks and become efficient with the ace helicopter(s).It's also not just a trainer for going into model flight, it's also a challenge and great fun. I have a helicopter and this game does help out a lot. Or, if you have an Intel Pentium, you can go to ... and get a REAL FLIGHT Simulator for about ... and you can really see what it's like. That'll be a LOT more REALISTIC than this game but this PSX game does help out a lot.

A great surprise!
This game really surprised me in a couple of ways.

I kept hearing it was really hard and frustrating, but I just went through the training first, and it helped me get my skills up high enough to manage just fine.Then Islowly made my way up to harder and harder copters.Great sense ofprogression!

Something I didn't expect at all was the humor.There is avoice giving surprisingly intelligent feedback to just about everything youdo, and he's really funny.And there's a 'virtual' hand you can throw upto block the screen when you're playing against someone else in the2-player mode.

And the whole time you're learning to fly a real r/chelicopter!I've never flown one myself, but now that I can manage the Acecopter in this game,I can't wait to give it a try with a real one, andmaybe even buy one myself if I can afford it.

Very unique...a greatbreath of fresh air!

I happened to like this game.It is kind of basic so since I have 4 children under the age of 7 it is easy for them to play.It was bought for my 4 year old daughter and she loves it.She has as much fun picking out the outfits as she does playing the game.

Could be better
I thought this game was kind of dull.It is not as cool as the "Manufacturers Review" makes it sound.The only thing you have control over is turning and the outfit you wear.You can't even jump. Even the outfit you wear is limited to around five or six outfits whichdon't mix and match.The way you gain points is by collecting purpletickets.That wouldn't be so bad but there is a limited supply.If youcollect all the tickets you can get the best skates/snowboard but then yourout of tickets and you can't get anything else.It doesn't even help toget "upgraded equipment" with the snowboards because you don't gomuch faster (as if you were going fast to begin with) and you don't needfast skates to win the game.So there is really no point.You supposedlyget a cool prize when you win but all it is is a ten second video thatshows a trophy.This is also the first game I have beaten that has tookonly about 45 minutes to beat.There is no real challange to it.Inconclusion this game is okay to rent but I would rent it before buying itso you know if it is something that you will like. Awful
I bought this thinking it would be something like Resident Evil but it turned out awful. The camera angle is often akward, and it seems like your going through the same train car the entire game. DON'T BUY!

AWFUL!! Stinks..
I bought this game with the intention of enjoying a great espionage/covert thriller. Instead, I got a game that had horrible camera angles, clunky controls and a monotonous environment-It ain't Syphon Filter, thats for sure-Save your money-I'm trading this in for something else!

What if Syphon Filter & Dino Crisis had a baby?
This game contains the usual kill-the-bad-guy, collect-the-ammo, collect-the-cardkeys stuff that we've come to love from Dino Crisis, Syphon Filter and Metal Gear Solid.But it looks most like (and is similarly paced to) Dino Crisis.There's a lot of walking around and having no idea where you're going.But once you figure things out, then the fun begins.The cut-scenes are high-quality and the gameplay graphics are pretty good, too.If you enjoy exploring and puzzle solving in relative quiet, then Covert Ops is for you.But, if you'd rather have a more fast-paced game, then I'd recommend one of the Syphon Filter titles.At the very least, Covert Ops should help satisfy you until the next Syphon Filter game (Omega Strain) is released this fall.

Rescue the Hostages, kill the badguys, save Paris.
As Lt. Jack Morton of NATO you are assigned to protect the french ambassador to Russia as he and his family return to France aboard the Blue Harvest passenger train. Everything seems okay then Jack's life is sent right down the toilet when a group of para-military terrorists attack the train, kill your entire unit, and hold the ambassador and his family for ransom. When things don't seem like they can get any worse, they do. Intelligence discovers the terrorists may have a nuke hidden on-board. Talk about problems! In my personnal experience with this game: What I like most is it has up to six different endings based on your skill. Everything from the nuke going off to you saving the day. Are you up to the challenge? I almost am. There is only one ending I have yet to reach.

Decent Game
This game is not like the old rock em sock em robots.It's set in the future, and allows you to compete in fights in a 3-D ring with other robots.You can knock off your oppenents parts and if you win you get to keep them.You can earn cash through matches to buy parts to upgrade your robot.There are 14 robots and there is also a 2 player mode.This game is fair and would appeal more to a younger crowd.If you really want a good customizeable robot game check out the armored core series for the PS1 and PS2. ... old timer agrees with youth
I was looking for good playstation games and got involved with game reviews. Previous reviewers are right, this game is great. Editorials are by persons who think they have experience because of exposure, a classic myth. This is one of my first games long ago and I will never part with it, though it has not been played in years. The hacking, bow shooting and throwing are not really deja vu (anyone speak french?). It took time to develop skill. True, the enemy is in the same place, an irritation now, but not back then. Eventually,sword skill and manuevering was so awesome (did not come easy), I wept after killing large numbers, because I did not want to stop. Entertaining and a pleasant Zena time passer.

I love Xena
I never loose to see Xena. When I am an adult I want to be like Xena. I love to be a warrior an I have much strength. I play Xena with my sister, I act as Xena and she acts as Grabrielle. Moreover it means that women are more warriors and more intelligent than men. Since I was a child I have had a lot of nerves and I have been willing to become a true warrior.

Be the Warrior
This game is the sole reason I bought a Play Station. It was a blast and I really enjoyed playing it. Mastering all the unique Xena moves allows you to slaughter your foes with true warrior style. I was sad after I got through all the levels. I wish they would make another one with Gabrielle as a second player or just being in it more.

A first-person-shooter based on the Resident Evil series of"survival horror" video games, Resident Evil: Survivor is an unfortunatecasualty of political correctness. It's painfully obvious that this game wasmeant to be played with a light gun, which the Japanese version supports, butthe U.S. version decidedly does not. Instead, a rudimentary control scheme usingthe PlayStation controller has been substituted, one which is simply ill-suitedfor the otherwise unmodified arcade-style gameplay.

Were it not for this major shortcoming, Resident Evil: Survivor's otherflaws would be more tolerable, if not excusable. The attempt here to graftvarious elements of the Resident Evil games onto a shoot-'em-up justdoesn't take. The plot--which casts the player as an amnesiac who survives ahelicopter crash only to find himself in a foreboding town swarming with zombiesand other hideous biotechnological mutations--is more of a side story to theResident Evil saga, and not a very interesting one at that. The game'spuzzles practically solve themselves, and while your character is free (more orless) to go where he pleases, the gameplay is so terribly linear that it mightas well take place on a predetermined track. Resident Evil Survivor, the black sheep of the Resident Evil family. Compared to the rest of the Resident Evil's, yes, this game is bad. However, it is not unplayable. The lack of any and all save points means that you're going to have to go thru the entire game in one sitting...and that can be quite a challenge. However, considering how easy the game is, it's not because of difficulty. This game just is bad. Now, if you have a bunch of friends over who love Resident Evil like you do and you just want to be able to say you beat them all, this game does have some redeeming value. It's great for a laugh with a group of friends at just how bad it is. This game is more of a collectors item for those who want to have the entire Resident Evil series and who want to beat them all rather than for those who want a fun and enjoyable game to play. Atrocious at best
Don't waste on second of your time with this game.It belongs in the trash. No saves,2 hours to beat the whole game,and the worst graphics ever.You'd have more fun being attacked by a rabid dog than playing this game. Just say no to this one.It's not even worth renting!!

This game is so terrible I didnt even finish it. I would rather play the first one a million times in a row then play this pathetic game. Even if you are a RE fan, don't get this. I only got it to put in my collection wich is going well right now. But anyways, DON'T GET IT.

Decent Game
I'm a die-hard Resident Evil fan, so I got this one. I've only played it on my PS2 and it works great. However, you can't save the game, so you have to beat it in one sitting. I like that it's inventive, with the first person perspective, no track to follow, and the ability to carry an unlimited amount of items. Only get this if you love Resident Evil.

The first one is much better
Die Hard Trilogy (the original) is much better than this game.While the graphics are improved, the controls and camera angles are a HUGE problem in this game.This game is more of the same and doesn't really offer anything new.I recommend the first one or at least rent this before you buy.

Yippee Ki Yay!Again...
This game is pretty good.The first one is better.The graphics have improved in this one and the story is fine but the game is just not as fun.Also, the controls are not as good as they were in the first one.The story is all about John McClane (of course) who gets asked by a good friend to come down to Vegas to visit his casino.Unfortunately for John, trouble follows him once again.Buy this game if you have played or own the first game.

My least favorite kart game
I found the graphics choopy, the Karts annoying to control, and the tracks boring. The kids and I love Kart games. We still play Mario Kart on Nintendo 64 and a Mickey Mouse racing game. Not to mention, we play CTR on Playstation and have a lot of fun with that. On all those games the Karts are cute, the tracks are fun, and so are the items. Can't say the same for this game.

Nicktoons Racing
This game is pretty good for a Nicktoons game. Obviously, you race around trying to finish before other players like Eliza, CatDog, Spongebob, Patrick and more. This game is pretty easy and should only take you a couple of days to beat. You race through Nicktoon places like The Angry Beavers' dam or some CatDog environment thing. I will now rate this game by it's gameplay, graphics, sound, and control to decide my score for this game.

Gameplay:6/10: Fairly fun for a while but then you win 100 times. Man, this game gets boring quickly, so win the Grand Prix and then quit the game FOREVER!

Graphics:4/10: Cartoonish graphics just like the gameplay. The characters look like their animated self while the background seems mushy and not good.

Sound:3/10: It gets old after hearing Boop, bop, beep, boop, bop, beep over and over again.

Control:7/10: The cars are easy to control but they do go crazy at times like when you crash, you get in last usually.

Overall:20/40: I think that equals 2 and a half stars! But, since I can't seem to do halves, it rounds up to a 3! That's better than my Gadget Racers review!!!!! Maybe, soon, you'll see me again in one of my review things. See ya later!

It was good but not very good.
This was a good game but it got boring after a while.Once you win it's boring and there's nothing else to do.I recommend this game for ages 6 to 12 because before the age of 6 it's too hard but after the age of 12 it's too easy.

Hilarious fun for all ages
I got this game as a Christmas gift for my eight year old daughter. She loves the characters and the silly sound effects. The cars were pretty easy for her to control after she got the feel of it. She has played it over and over and never gets tired of it. It really is a fun game for her, and my husband. My four and a half year old niece visited, and she was even getting the hang of it.

Not so good
This game is ok, but the speed is really bad. The graphics are great otherwise.

Don't do it
This game surprised me by the graphics. If your a person you wants to buy this game and have no challenge against other teams,do it but if you want a game that is up-to-date with the graphics, realism of basketball, and up to date with the rosters on each team please do not get it, get NBA LIVE 2000.

Cool Boarders 3
It's a great game, It's Alot more realistic than CB2.More tricks and outer limits.It's what snowboarding is all about.There is also alot of more things to it than in CB2.I mean more, companys and real snowboarders like in real life.I am a big fan of sports so I took this game with an awsome impression, I love this game and I suggest this game to any snowboarding fan.

Off the 'great' mark, but still very good.
Graphics: 8/10 – Clear and pretty, with great mountain designs, cool characters and fantastic snowboards that are designed and used brilliantly.

Sound: 5/10 – Relaxing, swift and sweet snowboard sounds, but the boulders could have made more noise, the music could have been more exciting and the sound editing is ... .

Value: 7/10 – While this is fun and challenging with cheats to die for, there are simply much better Cool Boarders games.

Overall: 7/10 – This is not the greatest snowboarding game ever, but it is entertaining and nicely designed with good gameplay. I enjoyed playing it. It is better with 2 players and I recommend finding the cheats before playing.

This game is so good !!!!! I don't even have to beat it I just have fun play with a friend. The coolest thing about this game are the tricks. Some of favourites are: Misty, Rodeo and salute. Get this game even if you don't snowboard ( comme moi, I ski ) If you don't you don't have a decent Library.

Enough fun to last about 3 months
This is an Ok game, but it could be much better. There is only one skill level, and it is pretty easy.Tournament mode is sort of hard, the first time, but altogether, it is easy. I beat all the tournaments in 3 months, and then the game got boring. Graphics and sounds were pretty good, but if you want a game that has more than that, I would suggest a different game.

What's Up With This Doc?
This is (bottom line) the WORST basket ball game ever made. You can't have any playoffs or trade teams or anything that most basket ball games have to offer, basically because there's only 2 teams. 2! What is that? You can only play 2 on 2 or 3 on 3 which makes the replay value go down the drain. All you can do after a while is Bugs and Daffy vs. 2 of those demented aliens or whatever combination you happen to come up with. The teams are so unevenly matched, the Monstars are slow, have bad shooting, and are the [worst] ball players I've ever seen and suddenly Porky Pig is able to do a 360 degree slam dunk. In the movie, the Monstars dominated the game 99% of the time, but since this is aimed towards kids, the good side is the best. The animation is very subpar (2D on PSX?), the music is very badly done and it's over all just a boring, quickly thrown together game. I despise that spotlight hogging rabbit, Bugs almost as much as I do this game. Bugs and Space Jam for PSX down, Daffy Duck forever!

If you wanna Jam, This is the game for you!
I've got this game and it rules, it's very similar to NBA JAM on the super nintendo. You know how it is, the monstars steal talent from the NBA players and vs the looney tunes in a basketball game.

You can play as either team, the monstars (which are not very good, and they can't do special dunks) or the tune squad (which are a lot better, and they do real cool dunks). In between each period you can play mini games, some are good and some are bad, but they're good to have for a little more fun and they can make you faster, stronger or better at rebounds which is even better. Besides that you can play the single player game there is another option called intergalactic tournament, where 2 players can vs each other. This is probably the best feature of the game, which is great fun. It is 2-dimensional but i think it is better like that. There is one last thing, you can do some real cool dunks with the toon squad.

Overall i give it 9 out of 10!

P.S the reason i gave it 9 and not 10 is because there should be more things to do, but it's still great!

Superb graphics and fast action characterize 989 Studios' daredevil motocross game Jet Moto 3. Designed for one or two players, this game expands on the original two Jet Moto games with improved visuals and controls.

After choosing from a selection of characters (each with varying strengths), you can traverse four different courses using a futuristic all-terrain cycle. The well-designed tracks will challenge even veterans of the earlier Jet Moto titles. You will feel the cycle slipping on the ice of the Khumbu Icefall and develop a lump in your stomach as you jump over Devil's Canyon. On the down side, close-up views are difficult to manage, as the field of vision can easily be lost. This is especially a problem in the two-player, split-screen view.

While some gamers may grow tired of this game fairly quickly, there is enough meat here to keep racing fans interested until the courses are mastered. Learning the subtleties of each course can prepare hard-core racers for the game's more advanced seasonal competitions and racing circuits. --Sal Barcia

this game shows me what speed is toward my hands
this game is gooood its twice better than jet moto 1 or 2, (well im not sure of that because i forgot how jet moto 2 is.) alot as how ive seen in this webiste mentions that jet moto 2 is quite best than jet moto 1 and 3, but if you are someone that wants to have new jet motors,good features, outstanting, creative racetracks, than this is the game for you.
what was funny is that i taught this game was going to be a normal race game like any other.. like if i would start in a normal lowering speed as how you normally do when you speed up with a car. but, when i accelerate on this game.. you start speedin up already and goin out there crazy! this game is real wild. myself,i enjoy the game because it feels good going in a good high speed, even when your starting off from the beginning. in a few minutes when i played the game, i got used to the controlling. i find it easy but what is really fun is the way you can ride on something so fast while making a challenge with many other different racers on the game.
the game is interesting while hearing the great good quality music the game gives from each level. that is something that makes me like games.. thing is, the music expresses each level of the game. my favorite are from the khambu race track (the racetrack with the iceroads). as a matter of fact, i like all the songs. they are all great. makes me wanna turn my surround speakers and pump it up.
as how ive said, the game is good, its really good. this is a great experience to speed... especially on my own hands. if you try this game, make sure you get jet moto 2.

Stick with JM 1&2
Go back NOW!JM3 is a marketing ploy.The first two Motos are great; the physics of the bikes are realistic.The third one, however, goes off of the deep end.Control of the bikes is jerky and the graphics aren't fluid.I bought JM3 because I had so much fun with the other two...... big mistake!This one should have been the first... a lot of kinks still needing to be worked out.The worst game in my collection.

I guess I don't know where to begin. This game is really good. It's got its share of flaws but it's still fun. The good sides first. The gameplay has a really fast, fluent style and the grapples work much better than they did in the previous game. The novice courses aren't too hard, but they get harder. Catacombs seems like a pure nightmare at first. Then, the professional courses get even harder. The Machu Picchu course is out of control and almost every part of the terrain is extremely narrow. I won't tell you what happens after you beat Professional mode. Another fun thing is the stunt courses you get when beating certain levels of the game like the deformed Circus Park you get for beating Semi-pro mode. The graphics aren't the greatest in the world, but they do. But the thing is, if you don't have a memory card, you'll get pretty sick of the game because you need to save your progress on a memory card, or you'll be playing Novice courses the whole time which isn't much fun. Also, some of the courses are extremely hard to figure out like they don't have a set path. Courses like Shipwreck Cove, Volcano Island, and Machu Picchu can be very hard to understand at first because the levels are too open. Besides that, it's a blast. Buy it but get a memory card too.

This one has run out of gas...
Jet Moto 3 unfortunately comes up short in comparison to the first two games.The control is kinda iffy, the graphics aren't really that great, and the two player mode is unbearable.Do yourself a favor and go afterthe first two instead, they're much better constructed than this one.

My first post "Jet Moto 1 and 2 were great, but JM3 fell a little short"(or at least I remember calling it something like that) says it all.Well, it actually says *most* of it.I just thought I should add something very key:this game can be very frustrating.It's hard tomaster- especially if you're used to the first 2 Jet Motos.Once you learnit, this game can be very amusing; although the crash detection will mostlikely always be annoying.

I also noticed that, just like with the first2 JMs, two player mode really is awful.No matter which way the screen issplit, you practically have tunnel vision and is can be very dizzying(andimpossible).Well, just a thought. ... Read more

A game that makes you a better biker... HOW CAN THIS BE?!?
This game is allot of fun. As a Dual Slalom rider/BMX cruiser rider as well as a PSX enthusiast i can say that this game is really chanllenging. Infact I have never cleared all of the courses to make it to the 3rd and final elite mode for the trails and courses... this is extreemly technical and will make you a better downhill 'thinker' if that makes sense... one downside to this game is that the trick function is next to impossible to master... as far as i know there is no game guide or cheatcodes available for this game making it even more of a challenge...

Not a bad game:
The only thing I didn't like about this game was the graphics. The controls are easy.The competition is hard which makes it fun. Youn will like it.

I purchased this game....When it arrived i opened it up right away and started playing. Its awsome everythings very realistic, the wreaks, the sound, the graphics, the gameplay. Hey! This game doesn't stink!
A surprisingly good game. My wife even likes it! As a cyclist i was surprised by the high level of realism in the game.A player can actually exert subtle physical control over the bike- such as standing whilehammering the pedals, sitting back for improved braking and increased"endurance"- and have the expected result. All in all a goodgame.

The Madden series is by far the most popular NFL console-gamefranchise in North America. Madden NFL 2001 is an excellent football game.If you like football, and you like playing it as a video game, you'll love the best game in the league.The gameplay is better than its competitor, 989 Sports, and I feel I can get into the game more.No cheerleader pictures, like on NFL GameDay, so you can stick to football.The different modes (Practice, 2-Minute Drill, etc) and Madden Cards (reward system for completing various tasks) help make this game a powerhouse.You won't be disappointed with Madden.

This game is the bomb! It has great plays, great graphics, and my favorite team (miami dolphins) is one of the best.The bad thing about this game is every once and a while it freezes. Than after a minute it comes back. But overall, this is a cool game.

As retro gaming continues to increase in popularity, many classic arcade games are getting a modern-day facelift. The latest 2-D coin-op classic to enter the 3-D era is Atari's Centipede, which now allows you to wander through a wide-ranging environment filled with cantankerous centipedes, sneaky spiders, and other deadly enemies.

Gameplay varies considerably from the original game. While your goal is to still to shoot and survive, there are now six worlds and 30 levels to conquer. Retro gaming purists may scoff at the colorful new environments, which have replaced the generic black background of the original game. However, the 3-D game design now allows for dangerous enemies to creep up from any angle (which they often do). The Greatest Disappointment of all Time
The old classic arcade game Centipede; truly one of the greatest games in video game history. When I heard of the Playstation title coming, I immediatley had to buy a copy of it. As soon as I got my hands on it, for a very low price, it was the first thing I did when I got home, only to play the greatest disappointment I have ever seen.

As my eyes met the screen, I viewed the most boring ... color-textures I have ever seen in a video game. A dorky little 7 year old, with way too large glasses and freaky haircut, who was the chosen one to rid the world of the centipedes. Not much of a storyline; it was more amusing to play Centipede without a story in the arcade. And like I said, the graphics were terrible. All was blocky, untextured and really showed proof that it was carelessly animated by a group of amateurs.

Getting past the horrible graphics and boring storyline, lets move on to the term they call 'sound' in the game. It has to be a cold day in hell when squeaky, toneless, flarvorless bits of crunchy tunes and smushed talking has to be looked at as sound. Besides the crunched up sound, the boring gameplay consists of rescuing tiny pipsqueaks and 'protecting' their houses from the jumping spiders (which also look and sound incredibly [weak]). Parts of the game also consist of driving around aimlessly, so do yourself and your money a favor...don't waste a penny on this game.

Only the classic version is worth playing, all else bad!
Highly disappointing! The two player mode is not simultaneous, so you have to take turns playing, and the two player mode only works in the classic version, not in the newer looking "3-D" version that is only aone player game! What a rip-off!

The only saving grace is that this hasa decent version of the classic Centipede arcade version from the early1980's. This is still very primitive video game fun, if you liked playingit back then.

If you buy this, understand that only the classic versionwill be any fun. The new version is very sluggish and low-tech looking fora 3-D game.

Centipede gets a 32-bit facelift
There is no doubt that the original Centipede is one of the most insanely addictive arcade games ever designed. The Playstation release of Centipede includes the classic game plus a newly updated 3D version. The new versionof the game is interesting, allowing you to move anywhere on the playfieldas you blast away at centipedes and mushrooms. Although I love the classicgame, the new version just didn't hold my interest for very long. Havingsaid that, because of the simple objectives involved, I do think this gamemight be enjoyed by younger and more casual game players. Incidentally, theclassic version of Centipede in this package plays brilliantly with theDual Shock controller. All in all, a good but not great effort.

A great game!
My 4-year-old brother, mom, and I all love to play this game. My brother likes it because it's pretty simple and you get to destroy (drill through) stuff. I like it because it's a challenge, but not too challenging, and very fun to do and see. My mom likes it because it's cute, basicly.

We also named some of the different kinds of blocks you see in the game- for instance, melted jellybean, ice cream (or whipped cream), sick (or icky), and ice cube.

If you like this game, you'll also love Spin Jam. We bought these two games at the same time, having rented them many times before. I was so happy to find them on the internet!

Drill me another, please!
Wow, who could have thought that something as simple and cute as this game is sooooo addictive. You must drill down, trying to escape falling blocks as they fall 'Tetris' style whilst trying to keep your oxygen levels up at the same time. The graphics are great for this simple game, the background music enhances the fun. Does get harder the deeper you dig. RECOMMENDED FOR ALL AGES!

Mr. Driller has no positive aspect whatsoever
I'll put it simple, it's the worst game on the face of the earth.It's also a waste of money.

Yeah, it's addictive....
...but lacks something that other great puzzle games have:In most addictive puzzle games, you keep finding new ways to improve your game (i.e., "Oh!I didn't know you could slide a piece in sideways!").Once you play for an hour or so, you probably will have figured out all the tricks.It's fun, alright, but not where-did-the-time-go fun.

The game goes like this:You start out at the top of an endless supply of multi-colored bricks--kinda like standing at the top of a filled Tetris screen.Your objective is to drill down as far as possible without getting crushed by the falling bricks above you.Your drill destroys one brick at a time (either below, to the right, to the left, or above you).If there are unsupported bricks above the one you destroyed, those will fall.Bricks of the same color, in goups of four or more, will evaporate, and unsupported bricks above those will fall.This is what can result in some satisfying, or fatal, chain reactions.All of this is complicated by the fact that you have to keep finding air capsules to breath as you descend....if you run out of air, you are dead.

A critical shortcoming is the lack of a two-player option.A competitive version would have added to the value of this game.Perhaps they are saving that for the sequel.For great puzzle gameplay with a higher addiction level, I recommend Geom Cube and the Bust-A-Move puzzle games (both of which have great 2-player options).If you already have these, then Mr. Driller isn't a bad choice at all.

Easy to learn - addictive gameplay
A very simple game with very easy controls yet addictive.There are several different gameplays (timed, arcade, survival) and each with theirown goals.You basically attempt to take Mr. Driller down as many levelsas you can in the meantime avoiding falling blocks and picking up aircapsuls.There isn't a whole lot of strategy involved although as you movealong you learn how the blocks react to your actions.Except for the Timedmode - its not about speed but strategy - of course I spent most of my timejust moving as quickly as I could and laughing at the consequences.

My 6 year old and I love this game
Well, it's got all the flaws the other reviewers mention.
BUT, it's been very fun for my 5 year old and I to play...it's really nonviolent, as when Croc stomps the Dantinis their eyes still blink like they don't understand what happened. It's also got a lot of little puzzles, so it's not this frenetic crazy action game. And the music is nice too.

So despite all the flaws, we really like this game a lot and have looked for a Croc 3 to show up. It's cute and charming and that's what I want with a small child.

OMG I have never played a worse game in my LIFE!!!
i CAN'T UNDERSTAND AT ALL WHY 1 PERSOM WOULD ENJOY THIS GAME.

The basic dialouge in this gams is nothing. The creaters decided rather than taking some effort in finding voice actors. They have words flash on the bottom of the screen. HOW DO CHILDREN WHO HAVE DIFFICULTY READING AT A SPEED OF 4 WORDS PER SECOND PLAY THIS?? Croc's movement is extremely unforgiving to a slightly short or off balance jump. The camera is so screwed you will probably smash your playstation in two.

Recomended for 9 - 12year olds
Don't buy this for very young ones because it will be too hard for them. When Croc runs it's very sencitive so when you tap left Croc will do a full turn. You will die because health is limited but you will get used to this if you're truely talented at games. My first game was Crash Bandicoot 1(back in 97/98)and on my first go I could control the character with ease and I beat my friends at games when they had a Playstation for 2 years. My point is if you've a son/daughter and they've got a simular story and they're talented at games then get this after Croc 1 and I know adults will enjoy this as well.

I don't think Croc 3 wasn't released because Croc 2 was rubbish.

Straight up, this is a sub-standard 3-D environment game, lacking originality and fun, looking to catch the little kids with its high cute factor. If you want an action game, this isn't the place to look. This game is my worst PlayStation game EVER!

A rudimentary 2-D fighting game loosely based on several of theGundam Japanese animated series and movies, Gundam Battle Assault isn't the game that fans would have hoped for, and is definitely notfor casual gamers who don't know what the heck a Gundam is. They can fly up intothe air--the screen scrolls vertically to follow the action, providing a littleextra headroom in the cramped 2-D arenas--but there's really nothing about thegameplay here that you haven't seen before and played ad nauseam.

Originally released in Japan in 1998, Gundam Battle Assault definitelyreeks a bit upon its stateside arrival two years later. While the graphics andsound are certainly colorful and mostly faithful to the animated shows, they areunremarkable at best, and, compared to more recent games in the fighting genre,this title is about as bare bones as they come in terms of features, options,and extras. Not the best; not the worst.
This game has the Mobile Suits of the gundam series, but it just isn't up to my standards.The graphics, concerning gundams, are good.All the gundams and other mobile suits look good.If I hadn't bought this game already I would just get the second one because it is much better.The second one has many of the same characters, but it has a better story mode.I think this gundam game is just for the gundam collectors.I would compare it to DBZ Ultimate Battle 22: the best quality is the detailed drawings of the characters.

Nonsense and a half
The plot will make any Gundam fan seethe, Hiiro Yui is a slimeball, and I get very angry when he takes the controls of the Zeta.The plot is utter nonsense, as it seems that since the story takes place in A.C 19X, that there was some large dimensional shift, dumping characters from Universal Century 0079 to 0093 on said Slimeball's doorstep.As it's been said in every review, Hiiro is of course, not an original character to this game.The dialogue is absolutely atrocious, as respected characters surrender to "The Perfect Soldier".It seems it was written by a person who had never seen any of the Gundam series, and had no idea of who these characters are.Sometimes I feel so guilty about people like Char or Hamarn losing to Hiiro that I just lose on purpose.No, I really mean it.I especially like Camille's ending speech.That's Camille Vidan, The Strongest Newtype Ever.Well, play it for yourself and find out.
Well, how does it play?
It's an average fighter game.The number of moves are highly lacking, and not especially original.The screen's are a bit on the small side, for a mobile suit battle.The suits can fly around, but not for very long, which is, well, silly.The beam saber attack takes way too long to charge up, and it's weak.Again, that's silly.It would be nice to be able to set a match length, as the fights are one match bouts.
On the other hand, the animation is quite well done.The movements of the mobile suits are true to the show.You know how the beam saber is stored in the Qubeley?It's the same in the game.
Contrary to a previous review, this game has a lot of replay potential.There are some fun characters to unlock.
And another thing.The Mobile Armors are tiny.They are very tiny in this game.I mean, they're big, I suppose, but not at all to scale.They are tiny.
This game has fun to it, but it sure put me off Bandai's localization work for a while.

A fairly bad try
I was excited when I saw this game, and for about 10 minutes was really pleased.But as I got further into to it, I found the game slow and boring.What really angered me is that you can only be Heero in story mode.There are other important pilots in the Gundam series like say - oh I don't know - Amaro Ray?Ever heard of him game?Apparently the first New Type wasn't good enough to be featured in the story version of this game.Another problem was that the playing fields are way to small, but I give major props for getting the scale of the characters in relation to one another correct and the overall variety of characters to choose from.The only other good point about this game is the graphics are quite nice.But it's lack of replay value (something important in all fighting games) and paucity of any real challenge is quite a let down from an anime series that should not be too hard from which to make a great game.Though I hear the sequel to this game is much better, I don't see how it could be any worse.

I bought this game about 6 months ago, but it was recently that I got into the game. Great detaled 2D game play and a Great group of Mobile suits Like Hy-gogg, Sazabi, and the Z Gundams. And if I missed your Favorite Mobile Suit i'm sorry. There isn't a very good story to the game,the game play is slightly unusual, and theres not that much strategy when it comes down to the mobil suit itself not till you figure out there weakness then theres strategy. But then if you are wondering wy I gave this game 4 stars (it's really 4 1/2 Stars)? It just comes down to just plain kicking each others [rears]. Gundam fanatic!

Sazabi and if you want all the characters you have to
get the Game Shark so you can get characters like Hydra
and Psycho. I only got this game a few days ago and I

Room for improvement
This series has the best batter-pitcher interface, and graphics, but that's about all.The defense and base-running are terrible!It's pretty easy to use a conservative swing and go the other way, but the way the ball reacts after being hit is not good.These guys should team up with High Heat Baseball and make a game together.High Heat has a similar interface for the pitcher and batter, but playing against the computer is no fun.I've been playing baseball games since the original RBI, which is still the best American released baseball game ever.I've owned and played at least 25 different bsaeball games.I own a Japanese game called World Stadium 4, which is by far the best I've played.The graphics are cartoon like, but the gameplay is awesome.If the American makers want to improve their games rather than just adding new rosters, the should check out the World Stadium series which I think evolved from RBI baseball.

Pretty good game, but still kinda sucks.
The best part is that you can "earn" legends such as Babe Ruth, Gehrig, Aaron, Mays, Satchel Paige, Cy Young, etc. Other than that, there isn't anything special. HEY ELECTRONIC ARTS, HOW ABOUT SOME "ALL TIME" TEAMS?

Better Than Playstation 2 Triple Play
I bought Triple Play Baseball for the PS2 and it was so bad that I sold it and bought Triple Play 2001 for PS.It's better in just about every way (except for stadium graphics).

This is one of the best sports games available.It is up to date with all the players, has great graphics, and is really fun.The announcers know everything that happens.You get cool rewards like fast players, strong arm, invisibility , and a lot more.Plus you get to play with all the legendary players like Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, and lots more.Overall this game is really good.

I haven't played This game.. but have played then separately... I Loved Blue Marlin, it was a blast from the start..and Balck bass is harder,,but if you are a fisherman and apply the right techniques... well u WILL be rewarded!!

Not to Happy
This game has been a joke from the start. For starters it came out about a year late and I bought it as soon as it came out and have yet to catch a bass in the free fishing mode or tournament mode.I do like the marlinfishing part of the game but I think that is because I can't catch any fishin the bass fishing part of the game.This was a very disapointing purchaseon my part because I enjoyed their other games very much.

Please,absolutely do not get this game.It is nearly impossible to catch a fish and/or land a fish. The folks at HotB have thrown a major dud out there on the market with this game.I would rate this as less than 1 star but the rating system doesn't go that low...
