I've found many people complaining they couldn't find 100 jellyfish in Jellyfish Fields, and that's because there is one sub-area that is very difficult to locate. You need to get a walkthrough from gamefaqs.com and study the map. (This game really needed maps like Tas the Tasmanian Tiger game provides.) And I doubt I could have finished the circus area without some advice from a walk-through about what to do with the cannons. It helps to know the characters in Spongebob. Some characters and places I just kept walking by instead of interacting with until my husband -- who is 37 and watches Spongebob! -- pointed out who or what they were. More power to these kids who finish the game in one to three days! God bless you little ones. (I am 52.) ... Read more

I was impressed by the graphics, & the sound was pretty good (The last handheld I had was the original clunky Gameboy) so this was a suprise to see how it's changed graphically. The story wasn't the best (Nothing like the Gamecube version), but I liked performing the tasks, & it was in a way almost relaxing to play this game.It definately made long drives less long. Although I must admit I suck at Quidditch...Oh well, we can't all be a Viktor Krum...
Okay, so I'm one of the older people into games, but it was a nice challenge.Keeping me busy at the doctor's office, when I needed sleep but couldn't, and other activities too boring to mention. The graphics were okay, much better than GBC.In reality, GBC sucked! After completing COS I went out and bought this one for GBA.Unfortunately, rule #1 is never buy it used.I need to purchase a NEW one!! There are lots of things to turn, but it was never boring playing this game!!GET IT!! Pasadena, CA ... Read more

Editorial Review The opening sequence and cutscenes between each level are 3-D-rendered dead ringers for the televisionshow, making it worthy of consideration for collectors. Driving missions are simple and fun, with high-flying ravine jumps and dirt-road power-slides. Get behind the wheel of the General Lee (yes, it has thecustomized horn), Daisy's Jeep, Cooter's tow truck, and Uncle Jesse's infamous moonshine-runner, BlackTillie. Control is not as exacting as it should be, but the CB radio banter and the silliness of it all carry the gamefar beyond its gameplay. --Jeff Young Pros: Features Reviews (27)

Editorial Review The game has an odd cinematic feel to it--perhaps due to its widescreenpresentation and cutscenes.A cute feature is the design of thecharacters, who speak in their own forms of cute gibberish.Graphically, this game is rich with deep dark colors spread out over 50levels and 20 worlds.Hiding in these levels are colored "lums" thatcan be used to open up new worlds or to restore Rayman's energy. Thesecome in handy when you want to breathe underwater for long periods oftime. Rayman must also collect magic masks and crystals, among othergoodies. --Robb Guido Pros: Reviews (45)
Pros: 1. Cool Graphics Cons: 1. Graphics could have been better So this game has some cons. The graphics could have been better, but also the cinema scenes are like 10 minutes long. But the gameplay is cool, too, and it is still a must have.

The game starts out with a short clip from the movie Monsters, Inc. and then sends the player into Monstropolis, the city where all the monsters in the movie live. There are many different stages, each representing a scene from the movie, but in order to get into a particular scene the player must succeed at the preceding arenas.Once the player succeeds at one arena, the next arena is unlocked. Once the player has selected the scene that he or she desires to play, the next step is to choose which monster he or she wants to be.I should mention that the game can either be a single player game where the player competes with the game itself or it can be a multi-player game, where the players can either compete head to head with each other, or work together to defeat the game's monsters. Choosing your monster is, in my opinion, the best part of the game.Nearly every monster, if not every monster, from the movie is able to be selected for use.Once the player has selected a monster, the monster will greet him or her by saying something along the lines of, "Thanks for choosing me!" Not only does the monster speak, but it also acts in the same manner that he or she did in the movie. The player's monster is then placed into the arena you have chosen, and the game begins. Some examples of the arenas you can choose from are: Main Street, Mike and Sully's Apartment, the Lobby of the Monsters, Inc. Building, and Harry Hausens, the restaurant in the movie. My favorite arena is the one at the Chinese Restaurant. In this scene, like all the other scenes, the object is to hit the other monsters with balls while your monster avoids being hit.The twist in this room is that there's a disco ball.Every time a monster is hit, he or she is frozen in that spot and begins to disco dance, giving the other monsters a better chance of hitting him or her. Not only is this game adorable, but it is very fun to play.I would highly recommend that if you have access to a Nintendo Game Cube, you rent Monsters, Inc. Scream Arena and play it with your friends. When I played it with my friends, we played for numerous hours every day we had the game, and never once got bored or tired of playing.Hopefully you will find Monsters, Inc. Scream Arena as enjoyable as I did.

Amazon.com Review First off, Sega moved the scenery from hilly San Francisco to thenarrow urban canyons of New York City--which is a bad thing if thehills in the first game were an attraction. But this one has CentralPark, and that's a thrill unto itself. Also, Crazy Taxi 2 letsyou pick up multiple passengers (on occasion), which is the best way tokeep that timer up and score bigger points. Once again you've got aggravating and conspicuous advertising in thegame--from Burger King and KFC to clothing stores and other real-worlddestinations. Masters of Mayhem andOffspring supplythe music. The Offspring song is a new one--at least we're pretty sureit is--but like all Offspring songs it sounds like the one from thelast game. Additionally, there are new Crazy Stunts you can perform. Crazy Golfentails a run at a massive ball, with a goal of smacking it a good 100yards. Crazy Balloon 2 challenges you to pop all the balloons in ashort span of time. Plus there are three more minigames you can play. You can play arcade style with a set time limit, or on a big or smallNYC map. The controls are tight and easily as good as last time, but someplayers may still have trouble performing some of the more difficulttricks. Also, this game is extremely similar to the first one. Anyonebored with Crazy Taxi isn't going to find Crazy Taxi 2 abreath of fresh air. But the game is still really fun for players ofall ages. It's crazy, wild, and a completely realistic simulation of areal NYC cab ride. --Andrew S. Bub Pros: Reviews (60)
It has great graphics and tight control but the music is a letdown and my aren't those cab drivers crude. The game is a welcome addition to any Dreamcast library even if it will eventually get old.

Amazon.com Review This means you have to position your human character someplace where you can see the action (rooftops are good), but not so close that you get killed. This makes for some interesting strategic issues: when a battle rages from one end of the city to the other, you must decide if you should continue trying to control your robot, who has now become a distant figure on the horizon, or move your human character in for a closer look, temporarily leaving your robot helpless to defend itself. But the best part of the games human element is that, while in other giant robot games you eventually feel like the buildings are stage props and you are just some normal-sized guy in a metal suit, R.A.D. never loses its dramatic sense of scale. The heavy, lumbering movement of the robots also adds to the sense of realism. Each limb of your robot is controlled individually (R1 and L2 for the legs, left and right analog sticks for the arms), so every step you take is an earth-shaking, control-rumbling event. The game's story and characters (designed by Toshihiro Kawamoto, creator of Cowboy Bebop) are very much in the style of Japanese anime, which is good or bad depending on how you feel about science fiction melodramas with soft-voiced, big-eyed teenage orphans. Here are the only really annoying features of the game: 1) though you can fast-forward through each individual line of dialogue, it's impossible to skip it altogether, even if you've heard it 10 times, and 2) the action is often interrupted with pointless communications from "headquarters." Despite a few design flaws, though, this is a fun game that finally puts the "giant" back into giant robots. --David Stoesz Pros: Reviews (13)
Besides all that stuff though, the game is a HUGE step forward in Mech games.I bought it expecting it to be something like Rampage for the Sega Master System. And the controls seemed intimidating at first.I've played all the levels, and still don't have complete control, but it's still a blast.the walking can get frustrating, and you really gotta be coordinated to navigate tight city streets. But the real cornerstone of this game is the Arm control. The anolog sticks provide control that takes very little thought.Whatever way you move the sticks is the way the arms move (to a degree). You can't to ANYTHING you want, but the difference between an uppercut and a jab don't require any real thought. And as you progress you learn mroe powerful moves than can toss an enemy into the stratosphere. My favorite moves are the ones that send enemys flying backward through 5 buildings. A lot fo people compare this game to Voltron, but I think it's much more like Power Rangers. The similarity to past Zords and monsters is undeniable. The characters move almost the same way as well.Sometimes fights end too fast though.I could sit there all day pummeling the same alien. Tons of fun to play, once you get through the plot.EXCELLENT 2 player mode.
Now, if you can stand all that, you will find yourself with an absolutely AWESOME game at its core. The robots are great, stomping around the city with them is so much fun it's worth putting up with the bad parts. I expect the next version of this game will eliminate the useless "hero" (your choice of several kids, each of whom does nothing to make it more fun or challenging, really just gets in the way) and correct the problems of not being able to disregard the storyline--actually they should just eliminate the storyline and let you fight your robots. When you're playing two-player it's a lot more fun to just trash the city together before you get down to fighting each other.
