Very Difficult
I didn't like this game, because being older than the average video game player, I'm not smarter than the games most of the time.Anyways, I thought this would be fun, and I'm sure it would be if I could figure it out.I even have trouble getting Ecco to swim where I want him to.I don't have too much trouble steering in other games, just this one. I don't recommend it if you aren't an avid video game player.

I love this game
I am a big role playing fan...that is why I turned in my XBOX for a playstation 2. I just went out and bought Ecco the Dolphin cause I loved it for dreamcast. The controls are a lot better and the graphics are great. So far the only thing I have found wrong with the game is that everytime a shark bites me I jump. Recommend this game for anyone who likes a difficult game.

Ecco rules! I think that you should rent this game before buying it, I did!!!!! DOLPHINS RULE!!! The FOE has destroyed the great Guardian!!! You must beat the foe in this battle for the Earth's future!! But be careful, there are many dangers!! Like the sharks, eels, and the Foe. My favorite level was Atlantis Lost. That's the level with the Guardian amd I think that level is so B-E-A-UTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, here's a tip that will really help you!! Just follow these simple steps, and you will unlock all the levels. Select NEW GAME. Enter GYU GYU ???. The three question marks stand for any three letters of your choice!! Even if the game says that you're done with just entering the first GYU!! Go back and re-enter GYU. Then enter any three letters. Then go to end, and instead of pressing X, press O. After you press O, alot of bubbles should release from the plant on the left side of the screen. After the bubbles have released, press X. Then go back to the MAIN MENU,select LEVEL SELECT. You will then see that all the levels are unlocked!!!! Cool, huh?!?!?! Now you can play as you wish. But, remember this, EVERY TIME YOU PLAY THE GAME, YOU WILL HAVE RE-ENTER THE CODE!!!!!! The Dolphin That Saves The Earth
Ecco is an enjoyable game you if loved the side-scrolling-Sega-Ecco games.
What else could you glue your eyes to?
You can interact with other creatures. Use sonar at some turtles and they'll follow you. Talk to other dolphins and do tons of fun things. Do one of your songs to make a shark look like it's blind.
It is also neat when you dive toward the sand and swim in it. You'll see tiny sand clouds come up.
What is also amazing is that you can move boulders around.
When you talk to a dolphin you won't know what might happen. When you do talk to one you might play a game. The particuler games you can play are fish fetch and a race against fast dolphins.
The animals and plants move as if they were real. You will see kelp waving from side to side a bit. The dolphins, fish, turtles, rays, alien creatures, and sharks move with amazing graphics.
The levels you play in are huge. They seem endless and they are diverse.
The levels can have giant eels and sharks and octopus.
Other obsticals await you on your epic journey too.
In one level you are swimming in these tubes of water more than a mile high maybe. Some levels are dark, making it frustrating trying to get out.
There are riddles to guide you on the quest to save Earth. Parts of the dolphins' protecter.
There are many other things to love about Ecco.
Some dolphins are colored differently. The Crimson are black with red fins. The Clan have these fangs on their lower jaw and spiraling red marks. The Resistance are some kind of green color.
The storyline in my opinion is great. I couldn't imagine thinking about a person who hated the storyline of Ecco. It's like the side-scrolling Ecco games, But changed just a bit. You have to save the world from the Foe, aliens that try to take over. In one point in the game you will go back in time and help other dolphins, which don't understand working together, and then they soon realize they must unite.
Ecco looks different depending on the time and what dolphins there are. Ecco can have the Harness on, it's silver and gold and allows you to control machines. The other is the Clan's mark, the spiral I mentioned earlier.


Even though many have forgotten about Ecco in his old games, he's still remembered in this game. As this is all I can say to you, please remember what I said and have a good day or night.

ok, i dont know what is up with those people that keep dissing this game. this game is amazing. it is really challenging and provides HOURS of gameplay. this is what most video games should be like! i hate a lot of games on PS2 (sports, wrestling, army (ICK))

Graphics: 10/10. they are beautiful. the animals look real. (the sharks are scary!!!)

Story: 9/10 Ecco has to save the dolphin AND human race! GO ECCO! (at one point he goes back in time!!!)

Controls: 8/10 a little bit tough at sometimes but not that bad overall.

Difficulty: 14/10!!! this game is very very hard! some of the levels are dark and you cant see stuff good so make sure you search everywhere in the levels! (it helps if you turn your tv's brightness up)

nancy drew... is genius! but having the computer games was good enough. now its for gameboy and it just wasn't as exciting as a lot of the computer nancy drew games. overall i'd say, from a 13 year old, this game, buy it for your computer.

A Fantastic Game
My daughter who is 11yrs old never gets a chance to play on the Playstation, due to her older brother always hogging it up.So I looked into getting something for her and Nancy Drew has opened up a whole new world for her and me. It started out being her adventure and turned out to be mine as well. She loves the games and the challenges it gave her.We have done all of the Nancy Drew Series, including the new one Island of Deception.I can't wait for the next one.We highly recommend getting the whole series for any little girl looking for serious challenges.Be sure to have your pen & paper ready for clues!

All PC Nancy Drew Titles
My 11yr. old and I play for hours on these Nancy Drew mystery games. They can require you to put on your thinking cap but they have sites that give helpful hints if needed. My son enjoys these games and even gets his sister (7) involved. I highly encourage any child to play and master these games. You can save at any point in the game so you can leave and come back whenever you like. They also have a very historical educational quality to them.

it was good but not as good as the computer games
the games was good, but very hard to play.you had to finish a chapter before you could save and if you did anything in the chapter that was ahead of its time and quit, when you typed in the password it wouldn't be done, so you would have to do it all over again.overall it was a good game but i would reccomend playing it on the computer instead!!!!!!!!!!!! ... Pretty Nice Game
Okay, when I started playing Lilo and Stitch and saw that you had to kill the aliens with your gun, I thought: 'Peh. Another leap-and-dodge-em game.' But eventually I got interested in it and nearly passed the first level. (Geez, I haven't even passed level 1 yet!) I had to go online to get passwords for some of the other levels cuz I was getting sick of playing level 1 over...and over...and over...
Unfortunately, the game's storyline is nothing like the movie unlike the PC game. In GBA Lilo and Stitch you have to stop Dr. Pestus and these mousquito guys. Gameplay is slightly difficult. Reccommended for ages 9+.

Extremely cool shooter
First off, let me begin by saying that "Lilo and Stitch" was not strictly a childrens movie. In fact, some of the family issues in the movie were quite heavy. So its nice to finally see a Disney game that isn't geared towards small children and caters to the adult fanbase. The Gameboy Advance game is reminiscent of Metal Slug. Its a heavy duty shooter that will really keep you on your toes. Theres alot going on in this game and make no mistake, this game is TOUGH! But the challenge it presents is a good thing. This is a game where the graphics, animation and gameplay are so well thought out your money will be well spent. Lots and lots of shooting action here. Definitely one of the better Gameboy Advance games and well worth a look.

So Fun!!!
This is my favorite video game! You get to mix your own cds, change the girls outfits, have them dance and so much more! Don't do level hard-extreme because it's impossible to do.

Great Fun!
Girls Night Out is a really fun game! You get to chose Mary -Kate or Ashley for your dancer, and your set of difficulty. You have a closet where you can chose the clothes you want the player to wear, [shoes, pants, shorts, shirts, and even hats,] and you can even change the color of the clothes, from red to black! You unlock clothes, songs, [the songs last about one to two minutes and don't have words] dance moves, and sounds! The game also has this thing called Jam, where you can kinda make your own song with the songs ans sounds that you unlocked!
To be honest, this game is really fun! And really, after you buy it, you will be glad you bought it.

Very satisfying purchase
I bought this system after a friend at work talked endlessly about how good DK64 is. Well, this combo set is the perfect way to get DK64 going really fast. It comes with the extra memory and the game so you can literally get the set and get going in no time. I had no trouble setting it up. The console's green color rocks! And the game is really fun. I have had the set for almost a year now, I play about 3 or 4 hours a week and the game continues to hold my attention. One of these days I will finish the game and have to worry about buying a second game, but I have not had that problem yet.

The best deal in town!
First off, let's talk about the N64. The jungle green color is fantastic, especially in the sense that you can see through the N64 and see how the system and controller work. It even comes with an Expansion Pak and the system is not hard to install.

Now for the game. Donkey Kong 64 is phenomenal, and has pretty much revolutionized the platform concept. The game is HUGE with 201 Golden Bananas(I only have 189, it's that big), five Kongs, and several other items to collect. Each Kong also gets their own set of special moves and instruments. The graphics don't exactly live up to the hype because of the occasional slowdown and choppiness in my opinion. The levels don't start off very big either, Jungle Japes is ridiculously small(One of Chunky's bananas is simply found by throwing a rock) but they get bigger. Frantic factory shows the first major challenge with an extremely hard boss, Mad Jack. Gloomy Galleon shows great vastness with its large underwater areas. Fungi Forest is pretty much a very goofy level with mushrooms you can bounce on, a gaint clock tower, a skyscraper mushroom, a giant tree, and many old mills. Crystal Caves is a cold area and annoying at first because of the giant Kosha that knocks down slaclatites in a blatant attempt to kill your Kong. Creepy Castle is a confusing level with many twists and turns. The Kongs weapons are great, I am especially fond of DK's Coconut Shooter, which is one heavy packer. My favorite instrument is Diddy's Guitar which he plays better than some of these people with record deals! The game also has many special options which are unlocked by getting certain amounts of Banana Fairies with you camera. With 6 fairies, you can get the Enguarde and Rambi arenas...you get to become the animals and play special events that are much fun and a good break from the game. The 2-player mode isn't so hot but who plays the two player modes in a platformer? A great buy. Well worth your money.

Good but repetative
I played both Monster Rancher Advance I & II.Certainly, it is neat to enter random sequences of letters and numbers to generate new monsters.The story is reasonable strong although slow paces.Unfortunately, I found the game tedious after a while.The challenge of training monsters wears thin after about the 1ooth time.It is particularly frustrating when your monster is forced into retirement just before completing a battle that would advance the story.Also, the time frame is somewhat unrealistic, I figure that my game lasted about 100 years or so (within the game).Each monster lasts roughly 4 years and it took me about 25-30 monsters to complete the game. Although monsters age your character and other characters in the game do not.I played this through to the climatic battle, and while that was cool I'm not sure it was enough pay-off.If you like doing the same thing hundreds of times, this game is for you.If you like a good story and can tolerate doing the same thing over and over, you might enjoy it too.

The PERFECT game!
I've played Monster Rancher 3 (for Ps2), and I think this game is better because 1. Regenerating monsters is easier, 2. You can go exploring, 3. It's easier to earn sertain monsters (Dragon, Durahan, etc.),and 4. Monsters don't die, they can retire or turn into coaches, so you can train your other monsters more effectively.

On the other hand, on Monster Rancher 3 1. food is cheaper, 2. You can battle your rivals more often,and 3. you can train in different places.

They're both good games, but you don't need to use other games to regenerate monsters on MRA 2, and you can take it anywhere.That's good enough for me.

Fun and Silly Like the Cartoon
My son and I just finished this game It was fun. My nine year old and I played it together and it took us many hours over many days. He navigated and I did the harder moves. We beat the Mastermind and figured out the mystery and then we went back through to collect the Scooby Snacks we missed (other than a few hard to reach Scooby Snacks on "Wreck on the Deck 2.") My son loves going through the monster gallery over and over and I enjoyed returning to each area, finding new paths and looking for the missing stuff.

I hate it
it is annoying to me, and the ending was a bomb, I wouldn't recomend anyone to buy this game

I must say when i got theses game i was shaking. In this megaman adventure u get to have a style change. EVEN the bad guys r kool except airman. U even get to have way more battle chips then in megamanbn1. What mostly suks about these game is that u don't get to vs sharkman or woodman or even skullman. But in megamanbn2 u get to vs snakeman shadowman gateman and... i told u enough navis. U even get to go 2 netopia. it seems that bad navis is every where. The coolest navie of all time is bass. even though he was fake.

Fun for Hours
I am 11 and I first played this game at a friend's house, and could not stop.I heard that it was not being made anymore.I found it used and new on amazon.it arrived two days later.it is fun for everyone in my family, me, my little sister, my mom, and my dad.

The Wrath of Cortex could be better
I am a big Crash fan but this game wasn't what I expected for a next-gen sequel to the other PlayStation games.The graphics are pretty bad for an Xbox or GameCube game, and the levels are just a little bigger.It doesn't compete with other games anymore because it has stayed very much the same from the others, which were made in the '90s, even if this hasnew vehicles and bosses (There is also another unlockable move, which is tip-toeing, I used it once the entire game, and I didn't even need it).Speaking of boss battles, they were frustrating, but still quite fun.So to Crash fans, you will like how this game is more challenging than the other games, but will feel as if you've experienced the game before in its predecessors.However, Traveller's Tales did good in keeping it like the other games even if that became the thing I didn't like about it.It's got a good price, but I think it's only worth a rent to beat it, unless you are a "real" Crash fan and want to get 100% completion.If you're not a Crash fan, don't even bother with it.

best platformer on xbox
XBOX has a lot of great games but lots of platformers are crap on xbox. lets face it thee trys lately have been awful. blinx the timesweeper whiplash zapper all that crap. thats why crash bandicoot the wrath of cortex is the best. the graphics are stunning. better than the ps2 version. basically the goal in cb woc is to go trough hublevels to get crystals. if you already played a crash bandicoot game you know the drill. there will also be timed relic challenges. and you will have to collect every box in a level to obtain a gem. once you collect every item in the game you can open up a new superworld that will give you another stage of levels. you can tell by the level layout that the developers were really using a lot of creativity. the boss battles are a nice addition. and another way cb woc towers over your mediocre platformer is the difficulty. crash has gotten signifigantly harder. remember how hard the original crash bandicoot was. well this game is even harder than that. so the difficulty is a nice change of pace for the levels. you get new veichles in the game too. a titansuit- you get acess to this veichle in- droid void crate balls of fire and cortex vortex. you also can use a jeep. youll get acess to this veichle in- jungle rumble and smokey and the bandicoot. youll also get acess to a submarine you can use it in- h20 and coral canyon. youll also get a copter pack you can use that in-farehinheit frenzy. you also get a scooter you can use that in- tsunami avalanche. you get a crash glider you use that in- tornado alley that sinking feeling crashstroids 4th boss level. and latly you a spherical moonball which you can use in- bammboozled eskimo roll medevil madness. also cb woc has shorter load times alot shorter load times than the ps2 version. overall with so many horrible platform games on the market. you should buy or at least rent this game.

Not as fun as I thought
I expected this to be a lot of fun, but it isn't.There's no real guide to the game, so a lot of the little details (how to raise the beauty rating, park rating, buildings broken down, descriptions of different buildings--what they do, etc) has been left out.Freeform is kind of nice, but you can't practice raising the beauty rating.Scenarios are ok, but the intermediate scenarios are a lot harder than they should be.If you really like a challenge, this is for you.But I was expecting a little more. ... The game Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for the PS1 is very fun. Now I'm a master at video games but when I got this game 3 years ago, it was very difficult (and it still is). I beat this game like 2 years ago, and I still play it. The Harry Potter and the Prisiner of Azkaban game is way much easier than this. That game took me 2 weeks to beat it. This game took me nearly a year beat!The graphiics may stink (It's PS1 and not Xbox) but this is still a really hard and fun game. You can drive the flying car, go to Ron's house, play quidditch, find secret passage ways, explore Hogwarts, and duel other people. Doesn't all that sound like fun to you even though the graghics stink. This game is way much better than Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Don't you think so?

Good...but not great.
This game was fun, but I didn't like the loads(they took WAY too long.)Also,the camera was a little strange.I did like all the secrets and passages.Overall, it was good, but not great.

Jump from platform to platform to platform to platform . . .
If you have the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets DVD and watched the preview of the video game on the extras disk, THIS IS NOT IT; that's the Playstation 2 (or "better") game you're seeing. This one is a pale imitation. You mostly run around Hogwarts, shoot little balls of light out of your wand, and face sequential challenges, all of which seem to revolve around precision-jumping from one platform to another.

It's not a BAD game; it has it's moments. But it shows that even the irrepressible Harry Potter can't escape the Curse of the Movie-Spinoff Video Game.

Yes, It's Fun the First Time...
When I drove home with the game, I searched the instructions at the beginning, noticing exciting changes like the increase in the size of Hogwarts. Now that I think about it? Big whoop.

To be frank, I cannot see for the life of me why, if you have a better gaming platform, you get a better game. I played my friend's version for Playstation 2 and there is SO much more to do. Hogwarts seems to be based off the movie version, as it is huge and has things you would actually see. In the PSX version, you are in corridors that do not follow Hogwarts standard (maze-like) The worst part, in my opinion, is the Gryffindor Common Room. One would just love to have a look around, right? Hah. In this game you have very little to do.

I guess I'm more or less a stickler for roleplaying, and was hoping the game had a more realistic tone to it. Repeating what An Amazon.com Customer said, 'Prof. Lockhart looks like someone hit him with a can opener. Dobby looks like a rat. Colin Creevey is tiny, and Ginny Weasley looks like a pig.' It's all too true. I would love to have moving staircases, secret passages only avaliable with certain spells and more prefects roaming the hallways at dark...it adds a sense of adventure to the entire thing. Oh, by the way, even though Harry FINALLY TALKS, his mouth never moves (or if it does, the inside of his mouth is the same color as his face)

Great game, but rather short
All in all, I loved the game HP and the CoS.It was fun and not so difficult that you get frustrated enough to throw the controller at the screen, while at the same time not so easy that you felt you were playing something for five-year-olds.However, it was pretty short.I finished the game in one day, in about twelve hours.I've seen a lot shorter games, but I think they could have added more and made it longer.It only took me that long to get one hundred percent completion, including accessing the Founder's Tower--the contents of which, I must say, were rather pointless and disappointing--with no help from the internet or friends.I feel it necessary to add that I am no expert--I'm no more than mediocre.

Hours of fun
This game is great even if you've never seen the show before. It has a pretty good storyline and great gameplay, however, the graphics can be a bit annoying at times (especially considering almost all of the Magic attacks look exactly the same).

Although it doesn't take really long to beat (around 50-60 hours), it will take you a VERY long time to complete (max out all of your Digimon's stats, get everything, ect.); I'd say 500+ hours. So even after you've beaten it, you'll still have PLENTY to do.

I liked this game a whole lot.You start the game by choosing 1 of 3 Digimon packs based on their stats and unique characteristics.Unlike Digimon World 1 you have 3 digimon plus they do not die.As you progress through the game, you will earn different digivolutions some due to level others are secret and obtained other than leveling up.All in all its like my personal favorite game Final Fantasy 7 so it makes for a great one player.

Awesome Game!
Okay I only have one complaint when there is a message thing coming on when you are facing a wall and your fairly close when the transmission is over you do crash and die but it doesn't happen very often. Oh, I was about to forget; hey, no Navy planes guy, so what if they're not all Navy planes, I don't care just as long as they're cool, which they are! The firepower is pretty cool too.

Not that fun...
This game is just not that fun. I go in on hard and the game is still easy. On top of that, you have to fly in specified war zones. If you leave? Game over... Get a real flight game for like the computer because this game is stupid. On top of that, this game has some nice graphics, but that is only in the clouds. Everything else is way too boring. Another thing, the models on the planes are a little too big because sometimes you can hit your tail on the ground and not even really touch it.

Here's my review:
I am fourteen years old and I absoulutely LOVE this game. There are eight different planes( actually, one of them is a helicopter, and I haven't unlocked that yet), all with great piloting. There are four different piloting controls, #3 being most like flying a REAL plane. The graphics are VERY realistic. If you get close enough to the ground and fire, you can hear your rounds pinging off the ground. GREAT graphics; on some levels with water you can see ripples in the water when you fire. I don't know if this is with EVERY game, but somehow my game has gotten erased twice. When I got on, it told me the data was corrupt. I'm pretty sure it was just my memory card, though. Many other reviewers told everyone to rent it, but I strongly suggest that you don't. You will not have enough time to unlock all of the extras, and what fun is that? There is also a QUICKSTART option, where you can choose air2air or air2ground, etc. You choose how many opponents, and what map you will play, and PRESTO! You've designed your own war. Overall a GREAT game, and I strongly suggest to anyone that liked Rouge Squadron or X-wing alliance (PC) to buy it. Thanx! <><

An okay game
Top Gun: Combat Zones is a game that, on the back cover, claims to allow you to master the Navy's top 5 planes, which I disagree with.First, four of the planes available aren't in the Navy.The MV-22 and AV-8 are Marine aircraft.The F-22 Raptor is Air Force, and the YF-23 lost the contract to the F-22, and isn't in any branch of the military.Second, This game only seems to focus on fighter/attack roles. Combat Zones failed horribly in capturing different aspects of Naval aviation. A good selection of Navy aircraft would probably include the F-14D, F/A-18C, E-2C Hawkeye, S-3B Viking, EA-6B Prowler, HH-60H Seahawk, and P-3C Orion.This would've allowed mission variety, including air to air combat, special forces insertion, anti-surface and anti-sub roles, AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System), and the ever-popular air-to-air combat.But, unfortuneately, the designers made a game that gets old after a while because the only thing different in each mission is the scenery.
I loved the control setup for this game, though. That is, I loved the Expert controls. Expert controls allow you to control the airplanes with realistic three-axis movement (pitch, roll, and yaw). One big flaw, though, was throttle controls.The throttle controls really stunk.
While the control setup was near-perfect, the way the aircraft handled was very unrealistic. I mean, paint dries faster than the time it takes for you to roll completely around one time. Another complaint I have is that you can't really dive inless you roll on your back and pull up. Nothing like real aircraft.
Sound effects were okay, although the explosions sound muted. My favorite sound in this game was your 20mm cannon. The gun in the game almost sounds like the gun in real life (believe me, the real life guns sound a lot different than in the movies.
I did appreciate the graphics. The planes were very detailed, right down to the markings. Everything was in the right spot.
One thing is, I like to play flight sims from a cockpit view that actually looks like a cockpit, and I also like to be able to take off and land. This game didn't have any of that.Half the challenge of flying is taking off and landing, especially for a Navy pilot.IT's been said over and over that it is incredibly unnerving to have to land a 50,000 pound jet on a floating airfield moving away at 30 knots, no matter how experienced you are.This game failed terribly in even giving you an inkling of what flying in the Navy feels like.Anyone can just slap together a "fly in and blow everything up" game.Tsk, tsk.
Overall, this was an okay game. You have to give it a lot of credit because it is the only semi-realistic flight sim for GameCube (hint, hint, Nintendo bigwigs), but I really felt that it didn't do naval aviators justice.
Only buy it if you really truly want a flight sim for GameCube. Otherwise, rent it or wait for a realistic sim to come out.

Husband and Son are both hooked on this game!
I got this game for my husband for Christmas and it has been in constant play ever since.The graphics are great, and the game is very entertaining (we even caught Grandpa at the controls!).My 7-year-old son finds it challenging and it is not too overly violent for him.All in all it is a fun and exciting game that probably won't be set aside any time soon!Have FUN! ... Most attempts to tamper with the basic gameplay of Tetrishave fallen flat on their faces, but Tetris Plus is actually adecent take on the timeless classic. You can tackle a basic solo game ofTetris, challenge a friend in two-player mode, or go directly tothe best portion of the game: puzzle mode.

In puzzle mode, playerscontrol blocks as they descend from the top to the bottom of the screen.As they fall, you can spin blocks so that they land next tocorresponding colors at the bottom of the screen. Gameplay is just likethe original only with a few major twists. The bin that holds the piecesat the bottom of the screen starts out partially filled, while a littleprofessor character climbs on top of the stack. Your job is to clearlines of blocks so that the professor can reach the exit at the bottomof the bin before a spiked ceiling smacks him in the head. Two playerscan also duke it out in puzzle mode, sending cleared lines to theiropponent's bin. Classic Tetris with a twist
Well, almost. The developers added a few new twists, the most interesting of which is the puzzle mode. Each puzzle level begins with the professor standing on a different pattern of blocks. You've got to clear the blocks out from under him to get him to the bottom. If you don't figure out the right way to solve this puzzle, he climbs to the top of the blocks you're stacking up. The game's over when the professor and the descending spiked ceiling collide. This version of the game is entertaining and even challenging, although after a while you begin to wonder why you're trying to rescue a guy who insists on climbing to his death. Other new additions include an edit mode that lets you create and save your own puzzles. A split-screen mode enables two people to play Tetris at the same time without competing against one another. In the regular VS mode, you can still play the computer or a friend. As with most new puzzle games, you can send blocks to your opponents screen when you clear a certain amount from your own -- in this case, two rows of blocks cleared from your screen means two rows of blocks sent to your opponent. If you like Tetris and you1re looking for a familiar, addictive game, this is the answer. Tetris Plus hasn't revolutionized puzzle games, but it's still fun.

Probably the best Tetris sequel
Tetris became an instant classic when it was packaged with the Game Boy in 1989. But the most interesting thing about the game becoming so successful is the fact that it spawned so many sequels - each of which was unique in its own way. One of these sequels was Tetris Plus, in which the objective of the game was to save a professor from being smashed by a spiked ceiling, rather than scoring lines like in traditional Tetris games. How does this change of pace work out for the series? Read on and see.

PROS:
-The graphics here are much better than those in the Game Boy game of the same name.
-In addition to the new "rescue the professor" mode which is the main attraction of the game, there is the classic Tetris mode you should know and love.
-Like in most Tetris titles, there's a two-player mode (WELL worth checking out.)

CONS:
-The music, while very good, isn't nearly as catchy as the classical Russian music featured in the original Game Boy game.

OVERALL:
Overall this is a fine addition to the Tetris library. If you're a fan of puzzle games, then Tetris Plus is well worth checking out. Sure, it never got the recognition and popularity that the original did, but it's still excellent. Don't pass it by if you're a Playstation owner.

Dragon Ball faithfully
This game is hard, but it's kick-(...).It follows the whole storyline of the series.From Piccolo training little Gohan all the way to Majin Buu.It's like all fighting games, except you draw certain "cards" allowing your player to do certain moves.It's awesome.

Bleh
What's with all these oh it's [SO] good and sweet and tight and awesome and incredible reviews? This game is pretty much only beaten in... "horribleness" by LOG. The only attacks which do any real damage are Vegeta's final explosion, final flash, big bang, and the other characters super moves. Super Kamehameha, not just regular Kamehameha. 3-6 stage attacks do about 3% damage to the enemy. Kamehameha can do pretty much anywhere from 7% to 13% damage to the enemy. The game also goes incredibly [SLOW]! It takes forever to get to your next attack phase and by then you're dead because the enemy can use their super attacks whenever they feel like it and they always ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS do more damage to you than you do to them and they CONSTANTLY dodge, block, or counter your attacks while you NEVER do. Sure it goes from saiyan saga to kid buu saga but, well, blah. What's the point of leveling up anyways? I have Vegito to lvl 5, the "highest" level in the game. (What's with THAT?!) And used all his power-ups on strength but he does about the same as like gohan at lvl 1. This game also gives you massive headaches and I wouldn't reccomend playing this game unless you're watching TV or doing something else to keep your mind occupied while the horrible slow enemy turns pass. Might as well shut it off after the first turn because you're dead anyways. I sold mine 2 weeks after getting it. For 10 bucks too. Buy Super Sonic Warriors. Now THAT'S a good game! Or LOG2, WAY better than LOG1 and certainly better than this thing. Bleeeh! I'm out.

Irritating...
The camera angles, like what the other reviewer said, creates a sort of optical vision thingy that makes it hard for me to move around. I constantly need to repeat the level over and over again, and it started to get real irritating...the loading thing and the bubble sometimes take long, and it really interferes with the game.

This game is very fun!The levels like downtown and jellyfish fields are interesting.On every level you have to complete challenges to get letters of SpongeBob's name.I think this game is one of my favorites.SpongeBob rocks!!!

A Sponge with additude
I bought this game and I rate it 5 stars.Just because Battle for bikini bottom has better graphics and music, doesn't mean it's not a great game. A great game is the fun of the game, not the graphics. Sheesh! A good game is when you have fun playing it. A bad game without looking at the graphics is like manhole of something. Game boys have bad graphics but they're still fun. Anyway, I love this game. I'd buy it if I were you.

a waste
This game is a total waste of money. Comapared to the shows this game sucks. About the only thing that was good in it was that you can change into different modes. There are no hidden objects or places to discover, you have about two moves that include hit and jump, and you get a move that is totaly not needed. If you hold down the L or R button(I forget which one)Spongebob rolls around, what the hell is that suposed to do!? The people that created this sucky game probely had so many extra buttons that they just had to put one on that was uneeded. The whole concept of the game is stupid. Why is Sponebob searching for letter tiles? What does that have anything to do with the flying dutchman? when you finally get to the Flying dutchman at the end of the game it's so easy, this whole stupid game is easy. I beat the frekin thing in two days! Then there is a stupid scene at the end of the game when Mr.Krabs says "You know this is coming out of your pay check." What in the hell was that suposed to mean? Spongebob didn't obstruct anything, he should get a rise for saving Mr.Krab's ass! What a horrible game!

Too hard and frustrating
You need to be a precise jumper and enjoy games that require precise, skillful jumping to finish this. I'm quitting on the next to the last level, Goo Lagoon, because I need to complete three very difficult jumping sequences, and the game doesn't give you checkpoints. If you fall, even at close to the end, you have to do all the jumps all over again. And the camera angles sometimes create optical illusions -- the jump isn't as hard or is harder than it seems.

I've found many people complaining they couldn't find 100 jellyfish in Jellyfish Fields, and that's because there is one sub-area that is very difficult to locate. You need to get a walkthrough from gamefaqs.com and study the map. (This game really needed maps like Tas the Tasmanian Tiger game provides.) And I doubt I could have finished the circus area without some advice from a walk-through about what to do with the cannons.
And you'll really get frustrated unless you know in advance that some areas you cannot complete until you have completed things in other areas and obtained another costume, clue or instruction.

It helps to know the characters in Spongebob. Some characters and places I just kept walking by instead of interacting with until my husband -- who is 37 and watches Spongebob! -- pointed out who or what they were.

This game is OK, but hard (for me). I haven't been able to win the belly flop picture level. I think it will be easier if I don't grab the spongebob letters and just get checks on the "to do" list. Before that, the game is easy for me and I especially like the switching tent.All in all, this is an O.K. game but a little hard.

not as good as the second one
apparrently technology has gotten better. dont waste your money on this game. buy the second one. i have so much fun playing the second one and i dont bother with this one anymore. the gaphics are pitiful as well as how different the levels are from one another. nice try nick, but atleast you improved, alot!!! once again...buy the second one...a much better investment
