I got this controler as a present last christmas. [...].If you really like gamecube you won't be a cheapo and will buy a better controller than this one and it will be VERY worth the extra few dollars.I only use this controller as a last resort if i am having a bunch of friends over, and they make me use it cause they all refuse to.DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS

Best gamecube controller out there(Besides wireless.)
This controller is by far the best. For people with teen sized hands the controller fits perfect. It is only a bit heavier also. The turbo button works quite well in a couple of games where rapid fire is useful. The grip makes it so you can comforatably set it in your hands. This is definately a must buy if you dont have enough for the wireless controller. It is real good for a 3rd party controller and is even better than the origional nintendo controller. Good for the right price, or a rental
Well, after reading the reviews on here, and the last three having horrible spelling and being the most unhelpful I've seen, I thought I'd try and shed some light on the game.

The fact is, this game was obviously made with intentions of being "eye candy" in hopes of selling lots of copies. As usual, that didn't do the company as well as say, putting more thought into the game could have done. The company that made the game, Terminal Reality, makes mostly medicore games, while this is the best of their franchises, it is still mediocre at best.

Story: I really didn't know what was going on. At first I was killing monsters and mutants, then it went on to nazis, then monsters that were possessing nazi bodies. That seemed to be the entire storyline... they didn't really put much thought into this I guess.

Graphics: Nothing amazing. They look like your typical graphics of a game from 2001/2002, but they are manageable.

Music/Sound: Good, weird sounds. Whenever you feed off a nazi or a monster, Rayne makes "mmmmm" sounds that are somewhat funny as well as distracting.

Game length: I started yesterday, and have almost beaten the game already. Estimated game play should be 5-8 hours on normal.

Controls: I don't know what people's problems are on this site with the controls. It's like they never played a video game before or something, because I got used to everything instantly. They feel almost like an FPS, though the game is played in a third person view.

It's a fun game while it lasts, and if you just want something quick to play through. Just don't pay more than $8 for it, and if anything, get the PC version instead. PC ports of games are almost always better than console ports.

Ummm....
this game was fun to begin with...nothing special, no ultra realistic graphics...but i bought this game a year ago and i couldnt finish the first boss. it was impossable! Even my brother - the video game know it all - could not figure out what to do...we basically ran around loosing life over and over again for a half hour until we gave up and that was that. thats money lost that could have been spent on something better.

Average but not my style
If you want to see blood, blood, and blood, this game is for you, but if you are searching a nice plot and a complete game in all aspects...

Very Cool Game
I got this game for Christmas and I am still learning it but, It is very enjoyable even for an old fart like me. I like being able to select All-Star teams from the past like the 1980's Eastern conference that includes my favorite players Larry Bird and Danny Ainge.

A AWSOME BBALL GAME FOR GC (A 11 YEAR OLD GAMER)
This game is much better than NBA Courtside 2002 and it is more realistic. The audiance look more real because if u are at your home court and say u make a fancy dunk the audiance will get up off of their seats and cheer for u. U can play Street Ball in it and it is very fun. I guarantee u will never get bored of this game. I almost forgot u can play as bball legends from the 50s/60s, 70s east, 70s west, 80s east, 80s west and players in present time. Last fact u can also play as western and eastern all-stars... U should all know that. Buy this game and u wont want to take it back:)

The Best Bball Game on GC As of Now
NBA 2k2 beats out every other bball game on the market. Though it has minor flaws, like every game, overall it's just great. Everything is done pretty well, except the street mode.

I think this is the only thing Sega has to change for 2k2. The street mode isn't that great; it's basically a regular game with less people. The courts aren't done perfectly, and in Rucker the stands are empty.

I don't really need the street mode though. The franchise, create-a-player, and just plaing gameplay buys this game for me. And if u like good gameplay, franchise, and other features u should buy this game.

This game really deserves a 4.5 but u can't put that in, so I rounded it up to 5.

The Best Basketball Game Made
This is the best basketball game made because if has many more features in it than nba live 2003.This game is also better han any basketball game now because the franchise mode is incredible because you make your own ways through the nba, like you coach your team, play with your team, make your own player, and win titles back to back if you are lucky.It also has street mode where you mix up players from any team and play on some of the geatest courts some nba stars played on when they were young.overall this is a good game when you play it. it might be the best basketball game you played and trust me I have it so go out and buy it I'm sure you are going to have fun playing it.

There are deffinatly better games out there.NBA 2K3 is cool becauase it ahs the espn look, but the graphics and gameplay deffinatly dont live up to 2003 standards.NBA live 2003 is a much better game.

Low Down on NBA 2K3
Undoubtedly this is GameCube's most realistic basketball game. The 2003 update contains not only the addition of C-stick passiong, but also includes improvements to the passing mechanics themselves and tweaks the previously irritating percentage of shots that are actually scored.
NBA 2K3 is steeped in an almost dour regard for the rules and practices of the sport of basketball. There are no outrageous steals, no somersulting dunks and definitely no smashing of the glass backboard. Instead, this game plays very much like the real thing - perhaps too much so.
Getting to the bare facts:
Visuals: Good animation, presentation and character models. Very nice throughout.

i wrote a review of this game a couple of months ago and after starting to play this game again have changed my mind.i thought before it was slow and the passes were too balloon like.but i have started playing the game on fast mode which i believe brings the game up to regular speed and brings back some of the fast break points.fast mode doesn't make it like nba live, it just makes it regular nba speed.this game is very real.just watch the passes and watch how the computer plays at times (penetrating and dishing out).although the computer doesn't know how to handle a zone (jacking up three point shot with whoever is at the top of the key).the only thing to watch out for is the game freeze on franchise mode. this will drive you crazy ... BRUTAL!
this is the beat soccer game you can get. i am a huge fan of fighting games and soccer, so this game was perfectfor me. the best feature is the boost button. with it, you can headbut, punch, and dropkick other players weather its to get the ball or not. plus you can exicute matrix style kicks at the goal, like scissors kicks, frontflip shots and even a flamingo karate shot!i could play for hours and you probablt will to if you get this game.

This game rocks! After reading all the reviews, I was very excited about getting this game. All of my waiting paid off one day when my package arrived. When I started playing I noticed the superb graphics in this game. The gameplay was awsome!!! Although it was kind of hard at fist I picked it up easily. This game is nice and challenging with lots of options and bone crunching tackles. The tackles are fun and make the game more exciting, but sometimes they can get a little too much, because the ref barely calls them even if you do put him on the strictest level. Overall this is the best soccer title that I have ever played.

Ok to start off, this game is a very fast pace and fast action game; much like that off NFL Blitz.If your looking for realism, this is not the game ur looking for. Letdown
I AM a fan of football games but this feels WAY too much like NCAA Football 2003 with a different title and cover art. It does have different modes, not too deep. I was struggling last week with a decision whether or not to get NHL 2004 PlayStation2. NHL 2004 happens to be MUCH better. It also doesn't have a good "addiction level" as I call it. Besides, the box now has a hobby, collecting dust. Commentary is quite annoying. Just the same thing again and again and again. Anyway, if looking for football, buy it. Otherwise, buy a better game like NHL 2004 or Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee or even Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2.

Madden Football, or is it really just madness
This is very dull.The graphics are attrocious and the game play, don't even get me started on it.The extras are dull, the soundtrack is a bore (except for the anthem by GC, and their leads Joel and Benji probably could have made a better game) So in conclusion buy this game if you want to die a dull and painful death. *shout out to my fella Rafe (You forgot your diapers at Melanie M's)

Madden NFL2003 IS IN THE HOUSE
Madden NFL 2003 probably has the best sound and graphics in all the gamecube games. You can make your own team, make their uniform, select their stadium, select how long you want the game to last,and much more.

Also, the teams have realistic stats and many gameplays to choose from. You can also design your own gameplays for all of the positions. Not to mension... you can also play tournements. Their also are 2-minute drills for throwing, reciving, intercepting, tackling, kicking, and much much more. You have to try to defeat as much of the levels as you can. The more you defeat, the more madden cards you get. (You can trade madden cards, sell them, and buy them. To buy them, you must do tasks which include throw a 30 yard pass, intercept a pass, recover a fumble ball. But since these are such easy tasks, you get less points then you would to complete do the folowing tasks. Run 60-80 yard in one play, or when your opponent kicks the ball you run the whole way without being tackled, complete 20 consecutive passes, and much more tougher stuff. Levels range from 1-5, 5 being the most difficult. This is probably the best sport game on gamecube.

EA Sports continued in the Madden legacy this year. Madden is still by far the best football game franchise out there. Best graphics, best gameplay, best extras.
A new addition to the game this year, that I love, is the mini-camp mode. The mini games are lots of fun and wicked addictive.
They also improved the franchise mode. Now you can scout rookies and see them before you draft them.

Best Playability of any Hockey Game
Complaints I have with other hockey games like EA Sports and Fox Sports titles is that they are either too easy or too hard. This game allows an amazing amount of customization of the difficulty so you can apply a little more difficulty to offset something you are really good at when you want more of a challenge.

I have seen some complaints about the fantasy aspects of NHL Hitz but I think they add a lot of fun to the game. I also like the fact that you play 3-on-3 (plus goaltender). That really opens up the ice for some beauty goals and spectacular hits.

This game is just too fun to miss!

Awesome hockey game!
NHL Hitz 2003 is the best hockey game i have ever played.Its fun and the hitting is awesome.The graphics are sweet and the controls rock!The hitz are really cool, a little unrealistic but just enough to make it fun over regular hockey games.Also you arent really pestered by too many peneltys but a few obvious ones to keep it real.Also the graphics are really good you can really see the hockey players fly through the glass on hard hitting checks like your there!Over all I give it an A+.

Inaccuracy
The game at first is pretty fun--I like how you can get in goalie fights and check the goalie.The graphics are excellent--each individual players face look exactly like the actual player.The pronounciation of the players names are TERRIBLE.They can pronounce some of the more difficult names, but can't pronounce simple names such as Roy (Wah), etc...The mini games, heads, names of created teams, etc... are really corny, making this game seem to be more for a five-year-old.The game gets boring quick.The game being a checking and fighting game, with no actual rules of the game of hockey in it, makes it very irritating--such as icing, tripping, etc...

Awesome Game
This is probably the best NHL game on GameCube right now, its fun and easy to play!The only draw back is only being able to have one season going at a time, however the non stop hitting and fun with the game overcomes that one little problem!I would recommend the Hitz game over any of the other 2003 NHL games!

Don't let the "2002 version is better" reviews. I played this game last night and I bought it a couple of hours ago, I have played 2001, 2002, and 2003. BUY 2003 VERSION.
Sometimes you could call this game "War" because if you turn penaltys off you can check to your heart's content. Last night at my friends house we got 233 checks in a game!
This game isn't about checking though (even though when people ask me how to steal I tell them "X") this game is perfect for hardcore hockey fans. Worst... Game... Ever...
I was sucked in by the price tag.With that much of a price difference from Madden, how bad could it be.

Worse than I could have imagined.

If you happen to like football games where your offense has no flow, running is only slightly more impossible than passing, you play as hard as you can, and get blown out anyway, and then end up turning off the game and never playing it again, NFL 2k3 is the way to go.

If, however, these are not the traits you are looking for in a football game, skip it and get Madden (any Madden).

Bad game, I mean, I really should have gotten madden, everything is kind of bad, i mean once a quarter back broke his wrist and then they put didin't have a back up Q.The graphics are ok.I mean after a while it's like same old same old, give me a break.Seriously, I didn't play it for 3 month spread once.My advice is buy th Madden sereis, much much better!!

NFL 2k3-a gaming odessey 3 years late
As a avid nintendo fan, i didnt know much about the "2k" series that was extremly popular on the Dreamcast and PS2. So, I didnt buy it when it came out. So this past August i was in the local blockbuster and used stuff was 25% off. I saw this game, NFL 2k3, sitting right there on the shelf, i picked it up and thought what the heck, couldnt hurt. The best 7.50 I ever spent. The Franchise mode is genious, it gave me a realistic shot of getting my much maligned Atlanta Falcons to the Super Bowl. The trading is well done, the free-agency isnt too complicated and the draft is smooth with little problem. Although you may curse at your players who wont take a 50k cut from their salary so you have enough room under the cap, you get used to it. Player progression is one of the most interesting parts of the Franchise Mode. A older player tends to get worse and a younger tends to get better, however this isnt certain. For example, Morten Andersen, my kicker, who has been playing for 22 years improved and Michael Vick whose been playing for 2 got worse. If you can get them go after cheap veterans who nobody wants, this is a great tip for success. The gameplay is smooth and easy to grasp, while i complain that the Falcons playbook has no 4-3 defense in it, most playbooks have great varieties of plays including some trick plays like flea-flickers. It takes about 3 to 5 games to learn how to play but once you get the hang of it, its very simple. Unlike a lot of football games, the pass and the run are about equally effective. For example, in my old QB Club 2000 game the passing game is awful and all you can possibly do is run the football. In some games, although i dont have an example off-hand some games the run is impossible and the pass is all you can do. Not this one. Great mix, hats off to sega for the good work there. The defense, stopping the run is a sinch if you figure out "the ot secret" i dont want to give it away because it could ruin the realism. The pass defense is pretty much up to the comp. Other modes include: Season, Practice, Exhibition and Situation. All are very interesting.

Like most of Sega’s recent sports releases, NHL 2K3 hangs its hat on stellar gameplay and sweet graphics. Little, if anything, is overlooked: players move and react much like their real-life counterparts--goalies are especially acrobatic; the puck seamlessly glides, flips, and bounces around the rink and off the posts and goalie’s pads; players can be pinned to the boards during a scramble for the puck; missed shots are covered up by a diving goalie or slapped in off ensuing rebounds; arenas are painstakingly re-created and feature music and sounds specific to each. Off the ice, there’s plenty of strategy and options to tinker with. NHL 2K3 boasts over 30 sliders to alter effects ranging from ice friction to referee collisions. The fun goes on and on!
I got this game about 8 months ago and I still say it is my favorite title for gamecube.If you want a game with an in depth franchise and unlimeted replay value this is your game.This game is so much fun.You will love it.

NHL 2K3 Very good game . Graphics are well done the game play seems faster than EA's NHL 03 . I like the real names of the arenas and the banners as well . The crowds look real and the gameplay is realistic .

The Nest so Far...
I have played EA NHL2003 and NHL2k3 is by far more realistic in the game play.The attention to the details of the game are excellent.
My favorite features are:
1. You have to actually think were you are passing to and aim the pass accurately.
2. Fighting for the puck on the boards.No hockey game ever did this.
3. Scoring is not ridiculously easy like the EA game.These goalies mean business (excellent replays and commentary)

Simply put: This game rocks.

Great size and reliable
I've purchased two of these controllers about four months ago and they are still working perfectly. I play Madden, MVP Baseball, 007 EON, Tiger Woods, Mario Sunshine and more. NO PROBLEMS HERE! I'm an adult and I don't bang, beat or slam my controller on the ground or wreckless with it. Maybe that's the problem for the other users who rated this as terrible. Because I am an adult I love the bigger size this controller offers. The normal Gamecube controller size is for baby hands and I just couldn't take it anymore. I recommend these even more now that they are 10 bucks!

Intec controllers suck!
I had a controller and it lasted about 2 weeks.My Uncle bought an intec and it lasted 2 days!I have a pelican wirelass and it's been dependable so far.stay away from intec!

g-force controller is a RIPOFF!!!!!
i got this pos for xmas 2003 thinkin it would be better than any other controller... but i was wrong. my friend let me barrow 007:nightfire and i played it and every 5 mins. I had to re-plug it because the calabration kept screwin up! and i bought 007: everything or nothing when it came out on feb 18. i brought it home thinkin how cool multi-player was going to be. but eversince i got the game i havent been able to expeirience it BECAUSE THE POS CONTROLLER WOULDNT EVEN WORK!!!!! plus it wouldnt work for MK deadly alience.... so if your planin to get a controller, say on this website... DONT GET THIS ONE! i would just get a normal one because an incodent similar to this one happened with my supper pad 64.... so do the smart thing and get a normal controller and actually ENJOY playin your games.

Don't Try To Save The Money
I Bought this controller about 6 months ago, and it broke in 1 week. It doesn't even work with half of the games i've played. It's too big, and it is much harder to move the control stick. Every review i read said it broke for them too. There is one other thing that nobody mentioned. The cord for the standard controller is what, 5 feet? i seriously think this one is three.

For anyone buying this to save money, you're just going to have to pay more money to buy a nintendo brand one when it breaks! Summarized in three words: Piece of Junk. DON'T BUY IT!

OK at the best

Football junkies have long been accustomed to loving gridiron video games while tolerating their weaknesses. We appreciate the fact that developers try to incorporate genuine college or pro atmospheres into the games, but it drives us nuts when the fight songs are incorrect, the out patterns are automatic, or the running game is unrealistically easy or hard.

But then along comes NCAA Football 2003 by EA Sports, a game so good that after a few weeks, even your dog will wonder why you never find the time to communicate anymore. Start with the AI--by far the best yet in a college game. Defenses not only react to your play calling and adjust their strategies as the game evolves, but they expertly disguise their coverages and swarm to the ball with speed and decisiveness. In addition, your computer opponent actually makes intelligent clock decisions when time is running out (shocking!). The running game at times is a bit easy on the lower difficulty levels (especially if a back like Oregon's Onterrio Smith has the ball), but that's why they made All-American and Heisman levels.

The graphics, as are typical in football video games over the last couple of years, are extremely good, and the between-play animations provide extra spark to the rivalries (taunting runs rampant). But the graphics aren't the star of the show--it's the dynasty mode, stupid. With enough special features and stat categories to keep college football hopheads happy for months--including a comprehensive recruiting engine, a customizable intro screen that features your favorite school's colors and fight song, and a Trophy Room that displays all your bowl and rivalry game hardware--NCAA Football 2003 just might make fans forget the depressing length of the off-season. --Rivers Janssen

Get Taken to Football Heaven!
This game is loaded with trophies to win and hundreds of college football teams. My brother got it 2 years ago and still plays it! It has a huge replay value. This game is probably the best game ever for gamecube! There is one bad thing though. It takes up over 200 blocks. But Still, I would pay $100 for this game instead of $70 ($50 for game and $20 for memory card)! It is also very educational. A+++

The All-Star Series is BACK!
Of course all of you baseball fans out there that have a nintendo system know about the game series of All-Star Baseball that has continued from 1999-2004. Everyone that has owned one of these games knows how great it is. There is no dissapointment when you've gotten your own addition of All-Star Baseball 2003. The graphics are great, the gameplay is good, and the commentary is outstanding. The 2003 addition has some more features for all of you All-Star fans.

Of course, since 1999, all the All-Star games feature the same diffeent types of gameplay including: Exhibition, Season, Series, Home Run Derby, Batting Practice, Create A Player, etc. Well get ready All-Star lovers because this 2003 version has a brand new feature never seen before. The new feature is called "Expansion Mode." This mode allows you to build your own baseball team. First, you chose from over a dozen major cities througout the US that have never been used before such as: Dallas, Hartford, Birmingham, etc. Then you choose your team's new stadium with 6 never before used staiums. Then you choose the team's logo which includes everything from: Aviators - Tornadoes. Then of course you have a player draft to put your team together and make it come alive. The last thing is choose your league either National or American. This features is awsome!

A new minor feature is in Season mode. First of all, you can create your own player and put him on the team roster before you start a season. Remember you couldn't create another player once your in Season mode? Well on this one you can! Anytime during the season you can create another player and add him to your roster. Another small feature is the Weather Forecast. On the main menu of your season there is an icon that says Weather Forecast. When you enter this option it shows you all the forecasts for all the scheduled games for that particular day. There is a huge US map that has a star on the location you're looking at the forecast for. It Below it displays the game of who versus who, the day's high and low temps with a weather picture next to it such as: Rain, Sunny, Cloudy, Overcast, etc. Then it displays the current temp, and also the wind speeds along with the precipitation percentage. This is a real cool feature.

The gameplay is outstanding. The game features accurately updated player batting and pitching stances. Also it features new throwing and fielding manuevers more and more like real life. The faces are so incredibly detailed that you actually think you're at the game! The stadiums look 10x better than ever before and also include the new stadiums for Expansion mode, Batting Practice and Home Run Derby.

However, there is a bit of a downside to the game's gameplay which is why I rated the game 4 stars instead of 5. In all the All-Star games the cathes are a little off to the side and not exactly lined up with the glove. That is basically the only downside to the game. Other than that this game is undoubtably amazing. This is the best of the All-Star series yet and it just keeps getting better and better from here. It's all up from here on!

ASB2k3-new but old
Now that ASB 2004 is out, I think you are better off buyiing that. ASB 2K3 does not include a manual instant replay and many other cool things.

ok but bad for season play
There are a lot of things about this game that are great: the players batting is very realistic, the commentary is clear and applies to the gameplay, and the players remind you of the actual people they represent. However, the gameplay is among the worst in baseball video game history. Running the bases correctly is an experiment in futility. Hits that should clearly be a double (off the wall, in the gap) inevitably end up with the runner being thrown out at second because the game stops the player at first and you have to madly press on the gamepad to get them to run to second, which they do inevitably, but too late. Fielding is inaccurate for the outfield. Players stand under where the ball is dropping and it bounces in front of them. Also, every time I play in the season mode, the game ends up letting the better teams from that year (especially the mets and yanks) score 12 runs. These are great teams, but not that great every game. Anyway, I was sorely disappointed with the season mode for all of the details mentioned. But the game is a lot of fun for a buddy to come over and play with. If you are looking to just mess around and play a video game once in a while it's not bad at all, especially for a reduced cost (I would say the game is worth about [money]), but stay away if you want to have a long term investment in a fantasy league.

Good Baseball game
This is a good baseball game if you are a hardcore fan.I like the expansion option alot.the only problem with this game is that it is too repeditive, and hard for a newcomer to pick up (I played one of my friends, and we stopped playing because I was winning too badly).Over all, though, I liked this game a lot.

Employees point of view!
Ok so I am an employee for Toys R Us and I am suposed to know a lot about the products that I am selling.It appears that I didn't know enough about the G Force when I baught it.I baught my first one and found that it didn't work at all.I believed it was just a bad controler.So I told my self that this can happen.So I got it traded in and brought my new one home.I found out that it only works with certain games.I now am going to try to talk to someone to get these products off the shelves because all it is doing is causeing people to waist there money. If I wanted to spend money on something like this, I would rather buy a giant piece of plastic because that is pretty much what it is

Don't buy this controller.I just bought the entire game cube system and an extra controller, this one, and it doesn't work.I wish I had looked at the other reviews before I bought this.Now Toysrus will not give me my money back because it has been opened.How are you supposed to know if the controller works or not if you don't open it up!Lousy policy.

I wish I would have looked into this controller before I bought it.Its horrible.I've already exchanged 2 of them.Unfortunately Toys R Us wont let me exchange it for the original nintendo controller so it looks like I'm stuck with it.I'll just keep exchanging it until they give in I guess.None of them have worked out of the box so far....

Bought Three of the controllers, one was bad out of the box, the other two went bad within two weeks.The only one still working is the original Game Cube controller.I am returning these three and buying Nitendo brand contollers.

Not Really Worth The Money
I bought this for my son for Christmas and when he hooked it up to his gamecube, one speaker didn't work at all and the other one the sound was so low you had to put your ear next to the speaker to hear it and that was with the sound turned all the way up!
I returned it right away for refund.

AH! Too much sound!
Don't underestimate these little speakers. They can really fill a room with sound, hence the price. The volume control has no remote, but thats okay, considering how good a deal this is. The LED lights, which light up to the sounds going through it, are a nice touch, giving it the "high-end" feel. Though they really only react to bass, not treble. There is no equalizer, so you're going to have to live with that. But, in a loud game like, say, Extreme G, you won't care. This is a great budget sound system, if you ask me. The cool part is, also, that you can connect 3 other A/V devices to it. I have my PS2, N64, and satellite television reciever in stereo now! A great deal.

Just avoid Intec...
I bought some intec products before...they all suck.
Intec is one of the worst third party video game accessary company out there. A lot worse than Madcatz, Pelican, etc.
Avoid this company. Never buy their products unless you want to waste your money.
When you want a speaker, go after a decent brand, such as logitech. Their Z340 is 20 bucks and Z640 is arount 50 if you search the net careful enough. Those speaks will be at least 100 times better than this one.
I guess all the other reviewers who gave this high scores must all came from Intec. Be careful, people.
