5-0 out of 5 stars The best gameboy game EVER!!
I am 20 years old. I owned one of the original chunky black and white gameboys. So I have played a lot of games over the years, and Im telling you: This one is my very favourite.
Why exactly?
Because the storyline is gripping enough to keep you interested the whole way thru and the characters within it are fantastic.
The game is challenging, but not to the point where it is frustrating.
Unlike the other final fantasy games (and pokemon etc:), in this one you actually get to fight the monsters physically with your sword, like in Zelda..........Is this a good time to mention that Zelda ripped this game off?
The game is long enough to keep you entertained for hours AND give you your money's worth.
Not only that, it is re-playable, and the next time you play, you will observe different things than the previous time.
By all means, if you have the opportunity to purchase this hard to find game, DO!

5-0 out of 5 stars Final Fantasy Adventure
Out of all the FF I have played, this one is the best. The fighting battle is different from the rest yet it keeps you on the edge of your seat to make it very exciting.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Legend of Zelda meets The Secret of Mana
...and they get along very nicely. As old as this game is, it's still one of the best that the Game Boy has to offer. As the title suggests, anyone who has played a Zelda game before will be instantly familiar with the controls and type of gameplay.Veterans of Secret of Mana will easily recognize many of the enemies, the weapons and their uses (such as using the whip to catch poles and jump across gaps), and even a few of the spells look familiar (compare the Fire spell in this game to those in Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu 3).

And, you'll have to.Squaresoft seems to have done something very interesting here. The enemies have somewhat low AI, and most will never be able to hit you. But, when they do manage to hit you, some of them really pack a punch.Overall, the game is pretty easy, but you can still be killed if you're too careless, which is why the next feature is so nice:

You can save anywhere.Anywhere.In towns, out in the fields, in a dungeon... in the middle of a boss battle(!).No matter where you are or what's going on, unless you're in the middle of a story scene, you can save the game. This feature alone is worth a few stars in itself.

The graphics are standard Game Boy fare, but they're detailed enough for you to see everything clearly. And, as another reviewer mentioned, there is color in it if you play it on the GBC.The music is excellent, considering how old this game is and the fact that it's on a handheld. Some of the tracks can be very repetitive, such as the town and dungeon songs, but they never really become annoying. The music playing when you're out in the fields is just great: upbeat and adventurous, just like Zelda's overworld theme, though this one plays at a faster tempo.

Secret of Mana veterans might also recognize the Max attack. When the gauge at the bottom of the screen fills, you can perform a Max attack, which will vary depending on which weapon you have equipped.

The puzzles in this game are not very difficult, but they still make for a little bit of brain teasing occasionally.

Don't expect a deep plot, though there are a few interesting twists, and don't expect a huge amount of character development.Overall, this is just a very simple, straightforward action RPG, and it doesn't try to be anything more than that. This game has enough RPG elements to get you engrossed once you start playing, but it's also nice and quick enough to just pop it in and kick some monsters around for a few minutes.I think that's part of what makes it so much fun to play. This game's a definite buy for any Game Boy owner.

4-0 out of 5 stars Classic Gameboy RPG
This game was a great RPG for the Gameboy when it came out in 1993 I believe. The game is great to play on the road.Certain parts of the game can be difficult, but most of it is quite fun. Many people don't know that this game is the original Secret of Mana. The game is hard to find these days, but you will like the game.Just save the game often - it is easy to die in this game.No second chances. You die, you start from where you saved last.A great game for an old system.Play it if you can.

4-0 out of 5 stars The prequel to Secret of Mana
This game starts off the Mana series, and not many people know that. I have been fortunate enough to get my hands on each of the "Final Fantasies" for the Game Boy. Adventure is the best of the four. The storyline is recognizable to Secret of Mana veterans. A young woman is discovered as the key to the mana sanctuary, and as a newly discovered mana knight, you must save her and gaurd her. The battle system is just like the Zelda series. Your shield even works in the same fashion. Along your quest, you earn 8 different magic spells that will aid you on your journey. Many allies will show up and help you, with some having special abilities, for example, to heal you or replenish your MP. The game may get hard at some points but is somewhat easy overall. You also get to choose what stats go up when you level up. This makes for many different variations of the main character. You can make him a wise man that is superb with magic, or a strong barbarian. The animation can be choppy at times, but what more can you expect from an older game boy game. Overall, this game is great for road trips and good enough to play at home. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars fun 2 extreme
Rugrats the movie was very fun. Definently fun 2 extreme. It tends to be on the difficult side but once u get the hang of it it's a snap. There r a varity ov levels that take place in different scenes from the movie. If u like the rugrats u should deffinently check out this game!

3-0 out of 5 stars Okay, but not satisfing
I am an avid fan of rugrats, and I have to say I found this game dead boring, there was one level in which I got stuck on and after a while that got really fustrating, cause I'd get caught in one spot, but after I gotpast it the rest of the game finished as a blur.Altough I didn't like thegameplay of this I must addmit that the sound effects where really cute andthat the characters look exactly like Tommy and Chucky and Phill and Lilletc....Anyyway I rate this 3/5 cause the background and screen effectsare great!

4-0 out of 5 stars This game is fun and challenging
I am 8 years old and I can get past all the levels of this game except the 3rd one. I have played Gameboy games (like Pokemon) for a year now and this is the most difficult yet. The 3rd level is hard to beat because I can'tget the last three items. But still, I thought it was a lot of fun becausethere are some really good obstacles to overcome. This game is for anexperienced player who is, perhaps, 10 years old. But it's still fun for 8year-olds.

3-0 out of 5 stars Beware
I am not a Game Boy player, but have 3 young sons who are avid. They received this for Christmas this year, and have not enjoyed it at all.The youngest, 6, feels it's too challenging, and the other two feel of alltheir games, this one is the least interesting from their point of view.

3-0 out of 5 stars They're the Rugrats and we're under attack!
This Rugrat game which I know from expirence is okay. I think it should be suggested for kids 10 and under. But if you like the rugrats a lot like I do you will probably find intrest in this game like I did. This game ispacked with hard obstacles and mind boggiling levels. I got stuck on the2nd level. So you might just want to give this a try; from one kid toanother. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars The best Castlevania game for the original Game Boy
In the late eighties/early nineties, Konami tried to bring its popular NES series Castlevania to the Game Boy in the form of a game called Castlevania Adventure. Unfortunately, they created a monster. The character was slow, getting hit weakened your whip, platform jumping was brutal, there were no secondary weapons, and the control was blocky. It was one of the biggest blunders in the series. Not long after, Konami tried to redeem themselves with a second Game Boy Castlevania. How did they do this time? Read on for my review of Castlevania II - Belmont's Revenge.

PROS:
-THIS FEELS MORE LIKE AN NES CASTLEVANIA GAME THAN THE PREVIOUS ONE. The play control feels improved and slightly less blocky, and the secondary weapons are back.
-YOU GET TO CHOOSE THE ORDER YOU WANT TO DO THE STAGES IN. This is one of the things that made other game series (including the Mega Man series) so great, and now Castlevania has taken advantage of it.
-THE LEVELS ARE HUGE AND CHALLENGING. If you're looking for a challenging game that's going to keep you involved for quite a while, you've come to the right place!
-YOU CAN SAVE YOUR PROGRESS WITH A PASSWORD. Lack of a save feature hurt this game's predecessor, but that problem has been fixed, greatly improving this game.

CONS:
-PLAY CONTROL STILL FEELS UNFINISHED, AND CHARACTER STILL MOVES SLOWLY. Although these things were massively improved over the last game, there are still a few problems, which you will notice when you play the game.
-GRAPHICS COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. I've seen better graphics on the classic Game Boy.

OVERALL:
Overall this is a very good game, and if you have any sort of Game Boy, I strongly recommend a trip to your local used games store so that you can purchase this little gem. This, my friends, is one of the most underrated games in the Castlevania series.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best of the original GameBoy titles.
First off: This is NOT the Nintendo Entertainment System title. Don't be fooled by other reviews--there are no RPG elements to this game whatsoever.

Two years after The Castlevania Adventure was released in 1989, GameBoy owners were rewarded for their continued faith in the series. After that lackluster title, Konami decided to fix a couple glaring problems, and the result is Castlevania 2: Belmont's Revenge.

jumping was a terrible issue originally, as the majority of player deaths were caused by jumps requiring exact positioning of jumps (usually, jumping as Christopher's heel looked to be the last thing on the ledge). The other "cool" idea, that of whip DOWNgrades after being hit, has been toned down with a modification that makes this less common (only certain enemies can produce this effect on your character now). The inclusion of this system is more than made up for by the inclusion of special items; you now not only have the ability to fling those cool mystic fireballs but get a special item now: an Axe or Holy water if you're playing the U.S. version (in the Japanese, the useful Axe is replaced, oddly, with a holy cross that works like all other Castlevania boomerangs). This leads to another good replacement: those silly coins found in the obligatory candles (possibly a move to freshen the scent of the original's levels) from Adventure now hold the hearts which we KNEW you'd like to have back. No game feels too much like Castlevania without hearts that double as spare bullets. Items hidden inside blocks have made their return as well, with the familiar pork chops and other things found inside ledges over doors and such.

Tellingly, the soundtrack has improved. The standout theme from Adventure's stage one, "Battle of the Holy," is still competitive with tunes from Belmont's Revenge, but imagine the WHOLE soundtrack composed of similar titles (we do know the names, but only because the Japanese version's sound test includes the names). The length of the soundtrack is about the same as that of Castlevania 3, with 24 unique songs. This compares quite favorably to Adventure's selection of 13.

Graphical details are improved; while Adventure's details are very good and solidly constructed they don't quite match those of Belmont's Revenge. Here, the generic feel and drab corridors of Adventure are scrapped for tiles that are, well, interesting. Different "castles" have their own themes, and the graphics reflect this quite well.

Enemies are still rather silly looking, but more interesting in looks overall. Fans of opening up floors with the explosive eyeballs from Adventure will certainly be slightly disappointed that their creature is gone. Still, bosses such as the dual goat statues with spears more than make up for the lack of cheap rotated sprite based enemies. Much of the other relatively poorly drawn...stuff...found in that other game has been replaced here to great effect. The frogs are quite annoying, but the game doesn't focus on them: you have everything from skeletons to beefy looking Iron Dolls (rather Japanese looking suits of armor).

The game's progression is a breakthrough on the GameBoy: for the first four stages, you can choose what "castle" you wish to visit first, and your stage select screen changes to reflect this until...well, I'll leave this up to you to discover. It's sufficient to say that the level progression system is the most interesting of any Castlevania outside of Castlevania 3 (if you discard games that allow you to walk and teleport about a larger overall map).

This game IS the highlight of the original GameBoy's library. Challenging yet balanced, I firmly believe it is superior to Metroid 2. If you're building an original GameBoy game collection, this must be one of your first games.

5-0 out of 5 stars The toughest quest
For those of you who do not know, with Castlevania, you are a vampire hunter, fighting dark creatures, bats, wolves, grim reapers in the hunt for Dracula. This game is the second in the castlevania series, but it adds so much more to it. Its not just straight ahead monster whipping, you pick up items, weapons, and use your brain to make it in the game. After defeating Dracula in the original game, this is now a quest that will take you all over a fantasticly dark world in search for the five parts of the slain Dracula. There are several challenges, and secrets throughout the game, some of the secrets are so difficult it will have you playing for years looking for them. This is also the very first game ever for Nintendo games to incorporate the night and day routine. When night falls nothing is safe, the towns flood with zombies and the enemies are twice as difficult too! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars dogs rock. do these dogs?
OK, i don't have dogs, so i really want the gameboy version!!! I wish i had a PC, but i have a mac, so i can't get the computer petzgames. that stinks, because in the computer version lets you breed your dogz and the gameboy version doesn't. *Boo hoo* well, the gameboy version will be a start. it seems fun enough to keep me playing it for hours. I'm the type of gameboy player that likes creative games like the sims....and escpecially naming things nice things and wierd things. That's all on here...and i can't wait till i get it!!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Kind of boring
This game was fun at first, but then it got kind of boring... nothing ever changes... really boring once you've played the Dogz computer game. (I have the Dogz 3 PC game.) If you don't have it, DON'T GET IT!!!!! Get one of the Dogz computer games instead!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Dogz for game boy
Its not that bad besides having really cheasy graphics but hey this is gameboy, its cool how they grow up deending how you treat them.

3-0 out of 5 stars Dogz is okay
It's agood game if your 4 and under but as the child gets older I'd suggest you get the computer games like petz 3 petz 4 and petz 5! Petz one is boring and petz two is like the same exact thing just diffrent tiles so if you have a child 4and under I say get because it teaches a child to react to a animal game but if your like 8 to whatever age DON't BUY IT!!!!!

1-0 out of 5 stars Not Worth It
I recieved a certifiacate from my aunt for christmas for amazon.com. I immediatly purchased this game. I was so excited i turned it on to find that it was a waste of money! In this game: you can buy a dog and he immediately throw it onto the street. Then when you go back to the purchasing place to buy another there will be a new kind of dog.I wanted to know what the knew one was like- it was exactly like the old one except it was a different color. This was very dissapointing because you could change the color yourself! Plus- there was nothing to do with the dog after you buy it except feed it! This game is like those toys that they used to make where an animal hatched out of an egg and you play with it. PLEASE- don't waste your money on this game you won't use it and you'll be bored after 10 minutes! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Short'n easy, but addicting!!!
Ironically, this was my second Kirby game that i brought. The first Kirby game i had brought was Dreamland 2. Even though it's the easiest game in my Video Game library, it's still great. I've played it several times and yet, i'm not yet bored of the game. It was basic and all, yet great. Ya see, i have a policy about games. Every vacations (winter midwinter, summer, regents week, etc, i replay all of my gameboy games (old and new) that way, i won't be bored, and i wouldn't be neglecting them. The graphics and the music i felt were good and the gameplay was average.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not as good.
In the game Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland was way better. This game you do not even get powers and the bosses are short. If you like this game, you will like Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland.

5-0 out of 5 stars kirbys awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am a huge fan of kirby. the first kirby game i got was kirbys dreamland 2. i decided i had to get the first one. it only took me 30 minutes to beat it, but it was awesome and addicting. after you beat the game you get hard mode, and i havent beaten that yet. the levels are good but sometimes get complicated. the hardest one is bubbly clouds (stage 4). If you are a kirby fan or collector, then get this, Youll love it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Easy and short, but fun
This game is a very fun game, with easy and simple controls.I'd give it a 5 if it weren't so easy.If you have a small child who likes easy games, this is a good choice for him/her.But don't degrade this as a little kids game, because it's fun for everyone-Even video game pros who can beat megaman blinfolded.Because in the end,you get a hard mode, which is,well, harder.
Awesome game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Kirby Is Cute And The Game Is Cool
I got this game from a garage sale and I want to give you a few tips on Kirby. First, Kirby's flying feature makes him so cute. Second, there are some hard parts in Kirby's dream land remember a teqnique when you get to the hard parts. I mastered kirby 3 times. If you listen to these tips you will master Kirby also. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Old But Cool
This is the first video game I had ever owned, and I thought it was too hard until I pulled it out from underneath a pile of dust next to my old Super Nes.I played it on my Game Boy Advance, and realized it wasn't half bad.The only problem is that it has an annoying password save feature that keeps it from being really fun.But the game works well in full color, has awesome graphics, good characters, and many challenging levels. The bosses are huge (rancor monster, jabba the hutt, boba fett, darth vader etc.), but they have an easily recognizable weakness (the rancor monster's hand flashes, indicating you should hit it with your lightsaber), and the sandcrawler is quite easy, even for the first level. The game was high-tech for its time (the scout bike level is in 3-D), and it is still one of the most fun games I have. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars 3.5 stars - A severely underrated game
The Ninja Gaiden games on the NES were among the best games on that entire system. They took several elements of the Castlevania experience, and did it one notch better in many areas. Three games in the series were released in the series on the NES, but what many gets tend to overlook is that there was, actually, a Game Boy Ninja Gaiden game! Read on for my review of Ninja Gaiden Shadow.

PROS:
-FOR BEING AN EARLY GAME BOY GAME, THE GRAPHICS AND ANIMATION ARE VERY GOOD. The animation isn't too choppy (which is more than I can say for a lot of Game Boy games, including new ones), and as a whole, the graphics look very good.
-YOU HAVE A SPECIAL ITEM YOU DIDN'T HAVE ON THE NES - THE GRAPPLING HOOK. The Grappling Hook is an awesome item you can use to grip the ceiling, and often sail out of harm's way. Now, why didn't they incorporate this into any of the NES games? It's a cool feature!
-IT'S A PREQUEL TO THE NES SERIES. This game is cool because it happens before the events of the NES games - so you get to see what Ryu did before he fought against Jaquio.

CONS:
-IT JUST DOESN'T FEEL LIKE A NINJA GAIDEN GAME. You can't grip walls, there is only one secondary weapon (the ability to throw fire), and the atmosphere is NOTHING like that of the NES games - most of the stages are industrial-styled areas. And when Ryu bites the dust, he doesn't just fall over dead like he does on the NES - He explodes like Mega Man! The death sound even resembles Mega Man!
-NO STILL CUT SCENES. These are one of the aspects that made me love the NES games so much, so their absence here was a real downer.
-NO WAY TO SAVE PROGRESS. The NES games had the same problem, so it didn't really surprise me that Tecmo didn't fix it here.
-STORYLINE IS CONFUSING. Basically, this game is supposed to take place three years before the resurrection of Jaquio (which happens in the original NES game), and you're up against a tyrant bent on world domination. That's about all there is to the story. The "prequel" nature makes it all the more confusing.

OVERALL:
Overall this is an excellent classic Game Boy game that I feel is a severely underrated one. If you can come across this one at your local used games shop and you've got a Game Boy, and you like old-school, side-scrolling platformers, this game is for you. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Pretty cool
I'm 13, so when I first saw this game I thought, "Hot Wheels? This has gotta be a kids game." And to be perfectly honest...for a serious gamer, this IS kids stuff. But if your like me and don't play games all that much...this game is perfect. It is pretty easy to stay on the coarse because there are bumpers around you. But then there are the jumps where you'll explode if you don't land right. I recomend this game to smaller kids or people who aren't serious about games and just want to have some fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars very simple and good for small children
I had expected that the game would entail lots of racing over many surfaces but it was just a hot wheels car on a hot wheels track. The trackis set up in several different places around a home. My son is five yearsold and really enjoys this game. It is the type of game where you can just"floor it" and keep going. If you want to do really well it takesadditional skill to spin, brake, flip or swerve the car for extra points. But my son just likes racing the car as fast as it can go. He rarelynotices what place he came in. This is not like the video arcade game"Cruisin' USA" where he cannot stay on the track for more than afew seconds at a time. (not that he tries very hard not to hit the trees, etc.)

5-0 out of 5 stars Coolest Game EVER!
WOW!What a cool game, a must guy for the gameboy, if you don't buy this you must be seriously nuts! Well worth the price tag, brilliant everything, go for it! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A great way to pass time, anywhere!
I really have not been a GAmeboy fan after Gba. My GBc did get alot of wear, and i like it alot. I forgot my Gba and handheld gaming, and during the season of XMAS, a lost interest in videogames. But the release of the Nintendo DS has made me a gamefan all over again.

this is one of my favorite gameboys. I had the purple one, and I loved it. I played it nonstop, and loved pokemon. I also loved the colors, and it's very delicious names.

Even if the screen is smaller, it's easier to see than Gameboy Advance, because it dosen't attract galre and other particle. And it's very durable to hold, and you can easily drop it in your pocket and go.

The next-gen handhelds are here, and I own the PSP and Ds, but this one is one of my favorites.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love it... Although the color
I received this as a birthday gift, I'll never forget the day when I went to the store and I bought it (Sept. 2001) It was a special pack that included GBC and Pokemon Red Version, This is a versatile console that can be carried wherever you want! The technology is incredible. Just one thing... Don't buy this color. I got this beacuse that day I haven't the Red Version of Pokemon and the pack was this color with the game, I wanted the atomic purple console, but it had the Blue Version and I already heve it. But just buy it if you like or if you are a collector, be free to choice your GB.

5-0 out of 5 stars Close to Perfect!
Game Boy Color is absolutely fabulous. It's compact, and has a wide variety of games to purchase. Game Boy Color comes handy especially on long trips in the car with nothing to do, because this gives you something to do! The fact that it's in color is great, and that it comes in neat colors is great, too. It's definetly worth every penny.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Cool!
This is a very cool Game Boy! I think mostly girls would buy this color, but the color isn't very important. I love the Game Boy Color because it has such a wide selection of games, and you can even play the older games with more color! ... Read more

Amazon.com Product Description

The Simpsons: Night of the Living Treehouse of Horror is based on the long-running TV series' tradition of special Halloween-themed episodes. The individual souls of this nuclear family are trapped high in Bart's tree house, so you'll need to guide each of the Simpsons through various Springfield locations while battling possessed characters Mr. Burns, Principal Skinner, Moe the bartender, and others. Reunite Bart, Maggie, Lisa, Homer, and Marge with their respective souls at the base of the tree house, and you will be rewarded with a bonus level starring "King Homer." ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Dunno why, but this game scared me...
Poor graphics. It's scarily similar to the SUPER-CRAPPY Powerpuff Girls GBC games. It also scared me somehow, in a nightmarish way.
Don't buy it. It ain't worth the money.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good game
THQ's latest Game Boy Color release, The Simpsons: Night of the Living Tree House of Horror, is seven levels of spooky action ripped straight out of a decade's worth of Halloween specials. The family's souls are trapped in Bart's tree house, and the only way to save them is to guide Bart, Maggie, Lisa, Homer, and Marge safely through each of his or her own uniquely nightmarish scenarios. As can be expected from a TV license, this particular Simpsons product is an action game. However, unlike the usual fare of repetitious platform-jumping rehashes, Night of the Living Tree House of Horror packs seven different side scrollers into a single game. Each level borrows its name from a specific Halloween episode and has its own unique gameplay gimmick. In the first scenario, Bad Dream House, Bart must explore each room of the Simpsons' house, vanquish haunted creatures with his slingshot, leap across sludge pits, and collect enough keys to save the family dog from a demonic broom. Level two, Maggie-Fly, sends you soaring through the air as a fly-mutated Maggie and tasks you to navigate her safely across a bug-infested kitchen. Things really heat up in level three, Plan 9 from Outer Springfield, a top-down shoot-'em-up starring family mom, Marge Simpson. Presented in a style reminiscent of Konami's Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Marge is a bubble-blaster-packing zombie hunter who'll have to get through hordes of possessed Springfield denizens and zombie versions of Apu, Moe, Mayor Quimby, and Krusty if she wants to make it home safely. Later levels cast Homer as a vampire hunter in a Castlevania-style mansion romp, a Homer robot as a toxic-waste purifier with a heart, Lisa as a Solid Snake-inspired operative in a stealthy school rescue, and the apelike King Homer in a Rampage-style wrecking frenzy. Each level in The Simpsons: Night of the Living Tree House of Horror is a game unto itself, which makes for a rather pleasing and varied experience. Surprisingly, though, each scenario is also a nice example of the particular genre it lampoons. Bart's initial jump-happy scenario lends a nod to Nintendo's Super Mario Bros., while other levels pay glowing tribute to Sega, Konami, and Atari releases such as Kolibri, Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, and Rampage. The game is not entirely free of flaws, however. The game uses an unwieldy password system, making it unnecessarily tedious to continue a game. The game itself is incredibly short and can be completed in less than three hours. Also, nonhuman enemy sprites are limited to poorly animated spiders and bees, which makes them jarringly out of place when compared with the rest of the game's sprites. Despite a few ugly spiders, the majority of the action in The Simpsons: Night of the Living Tree House of Horror is colorfully drawn, highly detailed, and smoothly animated. Bart, Maggie, Lisa, and the rest of the family all have their own trademark body characteristics, as well as at-rest animations that include Bart's patent shrug and Maggie's clumsy pacifier drop. The rest of the Springfield menagerie is present as well. Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, Monty Burns, Waylon Smithers, Groundskeeper Willy, Principal Skinner, and a whole host of recognizable characters gives the game the kind of satisfaction that only familiarity with a phenomenon can offer. The Simpsons' house, the Burns' mansion, and the Springfield streets are also re-created as well as can be expected on a 3-inch color screen.
Don't let the standard GBC MIDI fool you either--this Simpsons game sounds good too. Although there aren't any Bart speech samples or Homerisms, Night of the Living Tree House of Horror is deep with a wide array of series-inspired sound effects and music. It's no Mario Advance, but Simpsons fans will smirk with glee when hearing the Simpsons theme twisted asunder in a dark horror re-creation of itself. Re-creation is exactly what The Simpsons: Night of the Living Tree House of Horror is all about. No matter how you pronounce it, THQ has managed to re-create a decade of Halloween specials into a single GBC game that's bound to give series fans hours of recreation.

4-0 out of 5 stars WOW! A SIMPSONS GAME!
I don't know how long I've owned this game but, I think it's been a really long time, there's 7 levels of non-stop fun, the levels get harder and harder, but, I have a book that will let me go to any level, well anyways I'm glad they made this game it's really fun well bye!!!!!!!:)

4-0 out of 5 stars The Simpsons Rock
This is a really cool game that is based on The Simpsons Halloween episodes.there are 8 levels and in each one you are a different Simpsons charactor. In the 1st level you are Bart and your in a haunted house looking for Santas Little Helper. The second has Maggie in the body of a fly.You have to get her to the transporter which will make her a baby again. Its very easy. Then you Marge and you have to kill zombies with a be be gun. its very very hard.In the next your Homer and your in Vampire Burns(Mr. Burns) castle. Its pretty hard. Then you are a Homer-Robot searching for your body parts.its not very hard at all.In the 7th level Lisa walks through the school freeing kids that are to be eaten by teachers. pretty easy. Finally, in the last level your are King Homer(King Kong) and you battle planes and tanks looking for Marge.I hope you enjoy the game.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Simpsons: Night of the Living Treehouse of Horror
I am probablyy the biggest Simpson fan you will run into, but this has to be the worst game I have ever played. The characters look so horrible they move to slow and you can only start on level one which is pretty hard there are no extra features except the Homer one you have to un-lock. ... And in conclusion there is just such a lack of effort put in this game [...]!It is just sooo horrible!! If you are a simpson fan don't buy it it is embrassing. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Not the best game out there
It's easy if your any good at pinball. It's fun and a little challenging. I recommend it as a cheap (not cheesey) gaem for kids and even gamers who enjoy kirby. It's fun for an old game.

4-0 out of 5 stars Its an okay game.
This game isn't as good as the other Kirby games.

Graphics: 3/5 Still the crappy old graphics. Control: 0/5 TERRIBLE. It makes me wanna rip my hair out because you use the left arrow for the left flipper and the A button for the right. Challenge: 5/5 If youre looking for something hard, buy this game.

5-0 out of 5 stars This Game Is sooooooooo Cool!!
My grandmother bought me a copy of this game when I was eight, and the first time I played it, it was hard, but with some practice I became a very good pinball player. It has all the old songs and enemies from the kirbys Dream land game, very good!
I would advise you to use this game when on long trips, or when you are stuck in traffic, its a extremey fun time, and I would play it again, and again.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun for ALL ages!
I own many Gameboy pinball games. This is one of the best. Smooth scrolling tables (that are quite colorful when played on the Gameboy Color or Advance), nice animations, good ball physics, and a never-ending gameplay style due to the seemingly limitless variety of things to accomplish. This game is getting hard to find. I bought mine used at an online auction, but it has become one of my all-time favorite Gameboy games. Hours, weeks, heck YEARS of fun to be had here! A great entertainment investment.

4-0 out of 5 stars Kirby
Kirby has been my fav chacter since I was little. Ihave the GameBoy game KIRBY DREAMLAND 2. And now playing it as a pinball game is so rewarding. I have other various pinball games, but this is my favorite. This is one of the best old gameboy game yet. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars This game is Fun, Lots'o' Fun
I've bought this game and It was great. I love overhead-style games. It gave this game a nice Dragon Warrior or Zelda feel. Not a steep learning curve but the select button is hard to get used to. The missions are long and easy at the beginning, but then they get longer, and harder. The only problem is there's less action and more puzzle solving. but, overall 4*'s

5-0 out of 5 stars The action's on Boy, Game Boy
Made right after GoldenEye for the N64, Bond then made his move to Game Boy. At the time, people may have been expecting something similar to GoldenEye's shoot em up gameplay. Instead the setup was similar to that of The Legend Of Zelda, which made for an incredible game. Having an overhead perspective, you switch between weapons and items, traveling from area to area, questioning people and finding clues. James Bond 007 is a superb game with decent graphics, solid play control, a James Bond soundtrack, and excellent game play. This game is second only to the Legend Of Zelda's for great adventure game play.

5-0 out of 5 stars James Bond 007
I haven't played this gam yet. but I'm a big fan of 007.The only game I have so far is 007 The World Is Not Enough, but Iv'e played Goldeneye 007 as well.I'm also trying to collect all of the James Bond 007 movies, so if you know where to find one please let me know.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cool!
I bought this game, and I thought it was great. IT is very good.If you are a big fan of James Bond, you will recongize many people such as Moneypenny, M, and even Q! It doesn't so much rely on stratagy, but more like puzzle solving and complicated riddles. It also features the classic Bond theme song.

5-0 out of 5 stars 007 Rocks!!
overall an excellent game. music includes the bond theme and other tunes that will have you moonwalking. good selection of weapons and the save feature is cool too. good story and game play also. the game has people that you'll probobly recognize from bond films. examples: odd job, jaws, general golgov,M,Q,and Moneypenny. one of the best games i've ever played.I recomend this game to everyone. ...
