Amazon.com Product Description

Sports Illustrated for Kids: Football combines the diverse elements of player development and team management to create a challenging football game in an arcade-style format.

Designed for the Game Boy Advance, SI4K: Football offers multiplayer support, so kids can compete against each other via the separately sold link cable. Unlike other games that sport professional league and player licenses, here kids create their own teams from scratch, choose the names and uniforms, and then trade players, if desired. The game rates athletes on strength, speed, and agility. Stats improve through play to advance the team overall.

As players improve, so do the special effects. Smoke and flames fly from the feet of a player who gets faster. That's just the beginning--successful play unlocks secret bonuses, such as stadium improvements and rookie cards for your all-star players. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Totally cool!
Perfect game for perfect price.Graphics arn't as good as I expected however. If you like football you will love this game.If you don't like football, you will love it anyway!

1-0 out of 5 stars Disappointing
Not what I expected for $....Blocky graphics that take me back to the days of Colecovision.Even if you are remotely interested in this one, wait a month til it's on the 9.99 rack.I want my money back!

4-0 out of 5 stars great game!
i recentally bought this game for my son and he loves it! he plays i 24/7.i think every mother shuld buy it for a person they know1

1-0 out of 5 stars IT IS A HORRIBBLE GAME!
The graphics stink and you have no clue how to run the plays.
I was soooooo dissapointed. Wait for another football game to come out!

2-0 out of 5 stars Wait it out for a different game...
This game is slow, predictable, and very much a "kid's game"...

Granted, the title should've clued me in, but I've run across quite a few games that were originally intended for children that I've enjoyed very much. This, however, really isn't one of them.

Don't get me wrong, the retro style graphics and gameplay brought me back to the days of the ol' PC game "4th And Inches", but really don't stand up to expectation with all the really attractive titles out there right now.I mean, Joe Montana Football was one of the greatest football games ever, and while I'm not saying that it should necessarily be brought back (make way for the new and all that) the expectation is that the game will at least LOOK like something more interesting that a mess of hard-to-differentiate pixels blinking across a green field.

Play calling and execution is frighteningly simplistic and sometimes quite frustrating, the players move molasses-slow, and there's no such thing as the onside kick.On the positive side, you can straight-arm other players. But that's really it.

My recommendation is that unless you're an 8-year-old, or want to play a very, very simple football game, skip this one.Madden 2002 is coming out soon, and promises to be quite superior to this. When I first picked this up, I thought "how bad can this be?" and that it would tide me over until the real sports games surfaced. Not so.I'm utterly disappointed. The only reason it got 2 stars instead of one is the whole "retro" value (I really loved 4th and Inches).

I'm not sure what I expected, but it really, REALLY wasn't this. ... Read more

Madden NFL 2002 gives you authentic, detailed football action. Player face and body technologies make faces and body shapes look startlingly close to those of their real-life counterparts. Coach animations let the actual coaches roam scowling on the sidelines. Modes include Two-Minute Drill, in which you can earn points on offense or defense in a quick-hitting fast-paced game within the game; Create-a-Team, featuring customized uniforms, helmets, and stadiums; and Training, where you can learn about the X's and O's of football from John Madden while perfecting in-game skills. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars 'Pretty good'
i Recommend this game to everyone that wants A easy once in a while football game. This game has realy bad graphics. And it dos'nt even tell the players name. conpared to allPlay Games station Madden games this one [is bad].

2-0 out of 5 stars i ve seenbetter
...I am not impressed! it is nothing like the ps2's football game, but it will have to do...

3-0 out of 5 stars Is this the Super Nintendo?
Madden football does not translate well on such a small screen. Graphics look more like the older Madden games from the 16 bit SNES era. The players are too big and the screen seems over crowded. It's nearly impossible to find holes for running backs to exploit with 22 players jammed onto such a small screen at one time. And incomplete passes look as if they are hovering in the air just waiting to be picked off. On the plus side, the sound and voice effects are decent and all 32 teams including the expansion "Houston Texans" are there, with updated rosters and playbooks, plus the usual "All Madden" teams. Madden 2002 is not a bad game by any means and is pretty fun to play, but it's not a classic that I've come to love this series by either! Maybe 2003!

4-0 out of 5 stars BAD GRAPHICS
tHIS GAME HAS NO GRAPHICS but it has great gameplay and it is very fun but i wish they had more options then season play and play now

1-0 out of 5 stars this game stinks

Amazon.com Product Description

Based on the surprise PS2 hit, Smuggler's Run is a mission-based driving action game where you pick up, move, and drop off contraband cargo while trying to avoid arrest from local and national authorities. You'll drive over vastly different terrain: desert, mountain forest, and icy tundra. Drive carefully, though--a band of cutthroat rival smugglers might be right on your tail, waiting to steal your cargo. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Uncrazy Taxi
Crazy Taxi without buildings or anything else of intrest.
Bad steering too.

2-0 out of 5 stars Don't expect too much
If you are a big fan of Smugglers Run for the PS2 and I am, don't expect the GBA version to be even close. The idea of the game is the same, but the graphics are choppy and weak. Colliding with other cars and items such as trees and rocks ruin the experience by making you lose total control or making you come to a complete stop. I was especially disappointed with how easy this game was to complete, there really was no challenge at all. There is no option to complete against other drivers, and the whole Smugglers Run feel is just not there. I would suggest somehow renting or borrowing this game before you buy to make sure it is what you want.

2-0 out of 5 stars Step away from the vehicle, and this game
You may remember the original Smuggler's Run as one of the PS2's early launch titles that was by no means excellent, but was a lot of fun nonetheless.Since it had a loyal following, and with the recent wave of GBA ports, a GBA conversion was inevitable. This GBA version of Smuggler's Run does not invoke the same type of fun the PS2 version did which was expected, but the overall game feels unpolished due to the tedious missions, poor collision detection, and pop up galore. The graphics are pretty good for the most part, but the pop up trees, rocks, and hills nearly ruin the experience. The lack of options in the game (there's not even a multiplayer mode) really hurts the game as well. All in all, Smuggler's Run pales in every aspect to any other port of the game, but it is a less than half decent game that you might get a bit (and a small one at that) of fun out of.

5-0 out of 5 stars awesome game
this game is awesome fast moving and good just like it is for PS2

1-0 out of 5 stars poor track record
Judging from Destination's port of "Midnight Club Street Racing," this will probably be another bad game.In fact Midnight Club for the GBA is one of the worst games I've ever played, while the PS2 version was fine.I can only imagine Destination is going to insult another fine PS2 title and rob us of precious dough. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars BANG BANG BANG I WWWIIINNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This game isdecent. But when you get to battle there is nothing
better.

5-0 out of 5 stars This game is cool
This game is really fun. You can make monsters, go to battles, and buy stuff. You can also put your monsters into hybernation if you don't want to use them anymore. You can only use one monster at a time. I would really buy this game and it's worth the 40 dollars. There are lots of levels and if you get an invitation for a match to get a dragon, go to the match. A code name for a dragon is lemon. :)

5-0 out of 5 stars Monster rancher is a good game
I'm a monster rancher fan and i have played most of the monster rancher games and his is not queit the best one. This version of monster rancher has some monsters taken out like the wheel or plants and dogs but this game is really great its replay value is great I SUGGEST to not beat this game early and dont cheat it will ruin the funness and but even if you beat the game early its replay value will kick in thats why i give this game a 10/10

GAME CONTENT
Generate and raise monsters from words
Train and battle
Earn money and gain in rank and get permission to raise special monsters

5-0 out of 5 stars Monster Ranchers Unite
If you are a veteren to the monester rancher series, this game is for you!

5-0 out of 5 stars The fun from the Playstation version continues on GBA
Monster Rancher and Monster Rancher 2, both achieved success on the Playstation thanks to Nintendo's achievements with Pokemon. As with the two previous Monster Rancher games, Monster Rancher Advance allows you to breed, train, and battle a wide variety of monsters. In the previous two games, you could use a CD of any sort to bring a monster to life. In the GBA version you instead input a combination of letters, symbols, and numbers. At first, not all monster species are available for you to use. As you progress through the game and win special tournaments, you earn the right to train higher species. Along with training your monster for battle, you may combine it with other monsters, earn money from tournaments, fight off wild monsters, and do other miscellaneous tasks. The graphics on this game are excellent. All the monsters are very well detailed and exhibit excellent animations. The play control is almost non existent. All it consists of is navigating through menus, and going through battles which is all very simple. The sound/music is standard fair. There's not much to it, but it's interesting enough to keep you from turning the volume down. The game design is clever and well thought out. Always interesting, at times it can be impossible to put the game down. It's not quite an RPG, but it provides the hours of game play that an RPG has. It's a great solid title that can be enjoyed by anyone. ... Read more
