4-0 out of 5 stars Highly addictive
I got this game for Christmas and couldn't put it down for four hours. I love it the highest place I've gotten though is only 2nd. It is very challenging even on easy mode. Once you start playing it you can't stop untill it says GAME OVER. The only thing I don't like about it is how frustrating it is. but that's my problem so I find this game fun and highly addictive.

4-0 out of 5 stars coool
This game was so fun . you can race your horses and breed them. I only gave this game four stars because you cant feed or train your horses. Everything depends on stragedy you have to save your horses energy till the end. I think this game was awesome. I recomend it to all ages. I think this game is worth the money. Even if your not horse crazy youll still love this game. Me and my friend play against each other. Ofcourse I always win. LOL. If you are horse crazy then you would defintly like this game. If you like this game you'll also lik G1 Jockey 3, Gallop Racer,Gallop Racer 2001, and Gallop Racer 2003. have fun!(...)

4-0 out of 5 stars awesome
This game is fun. I would recomend it to any horse crazy person. I think this game deserves four stars because you cant feed or train your horses. Id say that being the jockey is the funnest part. It really is a great game that anyone would love. It really is worth the money. My brother, sister, and I play against each other it really is fun. If you like this game you should try Gallop Racer 2003 and G1 Jockey.

4-0 out of 5 stars Addicting
Gallop Racer 2001 is a great gam that is very addicting. It's a game where u can buy it and have fun all day long right from the start.A very fun game for those who enjoy trying new games and dont mind intersting challenges. With different levels, a variety of horses, and the ability to breed ur horses, the game keeps going.Try it and also buy Gallop Racer 2003. Both games are worth it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Major improvement from the first , PS1, entry
Just a note on my reviews.I reserve 5 stars for only perfect games. This one is close. The first entry of this series which used the PS1 as the platform was certainly enjoyable. One aspect of the first Gallop Racer that was certainly friendly but curious, as it defied the laws of physics, was that no matter how wide you took your thoroughbred on the turns, you would never lose ground. This is not the case with Gallop Racer 2001; how wide you take the turns can turn a win into a place or show.Of course with the PS2 platform the graphics are massively improved. The audio is great; if you're in heavy traffic your controller starts to shake from all the hooves beating the ground around you. The replay function gives you the opportunity to watch your greatest victories from the stands. The breeding option in the game lets you develop the next thoroughbred legend. The Triple Crown series is not at first on the schedule of available races, but the three jewels can be unlocked by winning a certain race in the winter session. There are other enjoyable aspects of the game that I didn't mention, but the above list are the main good points.
Of course I did not give this game five stars, so there are some criticisms. The main criticism has to do with the shops where you purchase new thoroughbreds for your stable. There are about ten different shops that you gradually unlock as you win more and more races, but once unlock a new shop, only a small fraction of the shops offering is available each month. And if there is a certain horse you know you want, you could wait awhile before it comes back.I really wish there was some sort of auction function for purchase of new throroughbreds, but that may be just over the horizon. One other bit of unrealism to note; the jockeys are glued to the horses backs. No amount of jostling or bumping will result in a tumble.Just another aspect that can be found in more recent horse racing offerings.
These small criticisms do not change the fact that this game is worth the money and has hours of replay value.Thoroughbred fans will love it.Thoroughbred neophytes just might become fans after playing it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Go ahead and buy it !
This game is a a joy to play.I played this not long after I finished Rune because it looked similar and I was pleased to discover that it was even better! All video games should be this well-produced and presented.Controls are intuitive, fighting is satisfying, bloodshed isn't overdone, and the voice acting and sound effects are outstanding ( set fire to the half-man/half-boar creature and I dare you not to laugh! ).
The most fun to be had however, is in piloting your fierce ( and talkative! ) dragon through the beautiful and expansive worlds seeking lucrative side-quests, attacking enemy dragons, and obliterating ground forces with an awesome amount of fire-breating power. This is what makes the game thrilling as well as the interesting non-player characters and the overall sense of humor and all of the thought that obviously went into this title.
I recommend this game to everyone and since the price is so low there is no reason you shouldn't give it a try.Enjoy!

4-0 out of 5 stars sweet
This is a pretty decent Action/RPG for PS2, It's kinda more of a rental in my opinion, though. The graphics suck, the controls are a little weird, and it takes up 1,499kb of space on the memory card!! Holy crap!! Drakan is still worth a try, though.

5-0 out of 5 stars Not as good as the first, but still good.
The first Drakan game was delicious (it was a PC game). The graphics were all dark and rather depressing, but then, so was the game itself. The armor and swords were beautiful, as was the Dragon (and Rynn), although Rynn reminded me a little too much of Lara Croft. The second Drakan game had gameplay that was as good as the first, but the graphics weren't as good. They looked a little too... fake. Some of the armor Rynn donns in the second one is hideous, and if you like aesthetically-pleasing armor, you end up going with less-powerful armor just because you hate looking like a walking snot ball. The dialogue was good, although they randomly decided to make everyone in the sequel have British accents, when they didn't in the first. In the first one, Rynn sounded like a rebelious teenager who wanted to save her brother; in the second one, she sounds like an aristocrat-turned-warrior who is over thirty, even though the second takes place directly after the first. The ending was far too open-ended and frustrating; there was no resolution.

There are sidequests you can take during the game, and that helps a lot. You can explore all over the worlds; you don't have to just follow one single path like in some games. The weapons are a little over-done in TAG, and the Dragon doesn't look as "cool" as he did in the first Drakan. It's real-time combat, which is a must for me. You can do different moves with your sword, which makes it more entertaining. You can also cast magic spells, which is fun, and is even crucial in one part of the game. It is difficult enough to be challenging, but not so difficult as to leave you pulling your hair out and screaming at the television screen that you "hate it and would kick it if it hadn't cost you so much!"

My biggest two problems with this game were:
(a) It was not as realistic as the first one. In the first Drakan, if you executed the right slash in the right spot, you could do things like chop off the arms of orcs, or legs, or heads. In TAG, you can't. It's just a hack-till-they-die thing.
(b) I keep comparing all my other games to it, and they don't add up!

One of my favorite things was the flying. It was easy to control, easy to get used to, and fun as well. You could do donuts and spirals, and it wasn't irritating at all. Arohk was fun (and funny at times, as well), although it was frustrating when you lost him, or when he "couldn't land here!" and you had to run away from lots of orcs and wartoks because Arokh was being stupid. Sometimes, he would get stuck on a rock face, and not be able to come to you. He would just be left there, flying in the sky, not coming down, and you'd have to restart the game from your last save point.

I also liked how you could target things. You could target one enemy, and dance around and get behind him and kill him faster. It was especially conveniant in the sky, where it is hard to keep up with the dragons who circle around you and rise and dive and twist around. The targeting made it so that you could keep track of them easily.

All in all, I think it is a great game, and definitely worth the money.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic PSGame
Kids love it I have a nephew 7 yrs old. And my own 11, 13 & 18yr old love it too, and they play it all the time.

2-0 out of 5 stars When Good Games go bad
This game starts off under the guise of and innovative and entertaining fantasy based adventure/rpg. Having never played the original, I was a little in the dark about the story, but the history is fairly intersting even though the main plot is kind of thin. The gameplay is fluid and you definately get a good assortment of moves to dispatch your enemies with. The level progression system is definatively Diablo inspired. Now for what's wrong with the game. For starters, your max level is 9. Which for any adventure/rpg title is very disappointing on more than one count. Case in point, you cannot max out all of your stats at level 9, which means you must allocate points to only the skills you want to really beef up. Which wouldn't be terrible if A) You were actually aware that you had to do this, and B) If the game didn't force you to use all of your potential skills. So what you end up having instead of a customizable character whom you can choose to make a fighter or a spellcaster, etc. you are forced to have a little of everything, creating an overall mediocre character. My second complaint, although not as bad as the first, is that the difficulty of the game only increases in the number of monsters you must kill later on. So instead of throwing some engrossing puzzles at you, you end up just hacking your way through the last few levels of the game. If they ever make another sequel, I hope they improve on these flaws, because the game does have a solid foundation, but in the end, I was disappointed. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Da Bomb!!!!!!!!!
Yo man this is such a kick ass game.I love it their is everything in it, I once killed a raptor w/ 4 bites!!!!!!!!!!!!

3-0 out of 5 stars It's no Primal Rage. . .
Primal Rage was the best dino-fighting game, period (although it didn't translate well to the home systems).

The animation in this game is atrocious to say the least. The characters seem to snap back into their poses too quickly and awkwardly.

The controls are pretty simple to use and moves are easy to execute. There are no fatalities, however, which I find a major drawback.

Even though you can unlock new characters, it's not worth it.All of them are just carbon copies of the original ones you are given. The Megaraptor and Spinosaurus are identical right down to their fighting moves.

It's still a fun game, but definately not one of the best.

5-0 out of 5 stars the best jp fighting game
this game is a bomb you get to fight real cool dinsaur, and the backgroundis from the previous jp movies.

3-0 out of 5 stars Ho-hum.
As a first-person shooter enthusiast, I had high hopes for Dark Forces when I hear about it for the first time.
And as it may be a sin to compare it to Doom, because honestly and truthfully, this game is hardly what Doom is, I must say one thing....take Doom, send it through a meat grinder, out pops Dark Forces.
Everything in this game is ho-hum....half or less than half of what Doom gives the Playstation gamer.
It's not THAT disappointing....it's still very fun to play....but the whole game seems rushed. People forgot to add more than 3 colors to walls and background images, and the pixelization is unsurpassed. Stormtroopers and items laying about look like primitive Lego models. The soundtrack isn't all that bad, but could be better....the voices are really done well though.
The levels in the game are ok....I found myself getting lost on some of them though due to the fact everything looks the same because of the limited color palette....and even some areas I'm guessing are supposed to be covered in "shadows" are in all actuality, just black spaces with no graphics at all.
The weapons are typical Star Wars guns....nothing entirely special, but it is a fun selection.

If you're a Star Wars fan, and can get this game for 5 bucks or less, by all means, add it to your collection.
But if you're a first-person shooter junkie, look elsewhere for a top-quality shooter.

Overall, an average game, 5 out of 10, possibly 5.5.

4-0 out of 5 stars Terrible!
Do not, I repeat do not get this game.It is a waste of money.I would give this game 0 stars but 1 is the lowest. You won't believe how bad the graphics are.Don't waste your money on this piece of ....

3-0 out of 5 stars An Average Game, At Best
Ok.This game came out in the mid 90's, but even for then, it's an average game.Nothing stands out to make it a "must have" for the Star Wars fan and gamer.

Graphically, it's a step down from the old Doom days.Characters are made of HUGE sprites--The closer you get, the more blocky they are.Backgrounds/levels are huge, but poorly done. Most levels are just plain boring and the colors are extremely dull looking.

The sound, out of everything, is fairly good.Effects and voices are above that average level. The music, though, is a disappointment. This is a 32-bit game with an 8-bit soundtrack. One thing in every Star Wars movie that's done well with pride is the music score. All Star Wars games should be no different than the movies with the same score. This game is one of those games where the music is just plain bad.

Fun value is on the average level, as well.Where most everything is dull, the enjoyment of blasting Stormtroopers, Probe Droids, etc. is fun for every Star Wars fan.

If you enjoy first person shooters and the Star Wars movie series, then give it a try. It's cheap money-wise, however, it's just that, as well (gameplay-wise)--cheap.

5-0 out of 5 stars The beginning of Katarn
Kyle Katarn quickly became my favorite character in the gaming world. In "Dark Forces", the first of the series, you really only begin to learn the basic brute skills of fighting. You also learn several mind skills, not powers, but necessary exercises to prepare you for the coming hazards in the next challenge(DFII on PC). This game, after 6 months of an off again on again gaming ralationship, is still very fun. This was my first game on PC, and though dated graphically, it's still better than the average nerf-herder. You now laugh at the"T" rating, because we were so innocent in them there days when blood was flying squares, but hey, fun is fun.

1-0 out of 5 stars Terrible
I am a pretty big 'Star Wars' fan. I own the trilogy, own 'Episode One' for PSX, and both 'Rogue Squadron' and 'Racer' for N64...I do own this game, unfortunately. However, I bought it from a friend for one dollar.

Here's what I think of this game. First, it was made early PlayStation era, so the graphics are terrible. From far away, the enemies look like cardboard cut outs, and when you get close enough to see them, they're just a giant blur. (Think of when you see a face scrambled by a computer on 'Cops' or something.) Also, the guns are quite weak. To add to the problems of this game, the levels are not fun, and you just run around until you either die because of its difficulty, or because of boredom. This game presents no replay value considering you'll get annoyed before finishing the first level. And this game will cost you twenty dollars! With that cash, you could buy EP1 or put it towards something much better than this. Really, it looks worse than the old Street Fighter games for Sega Genesis.

Yes, it's a first person game, but guess what? So is Medal or Honor, and now that it's a best seller, you can purchase that for the same price as this. And to add to the disappointment if that's at all possible, you don't even play as a known character. Like in the X-Files for PSX, you play as some nobody character. If you're going to present us this waste of money, at least give us Han or Luke! Maybe Lando, even.

So take my advice. Would you rather own an old game with the 'Star Wars' license that was made in 1994, or an award winner such as Medal of Honor, which was released in late 1999? ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Virtual Pet
This game is a modified virtual pet game with a few pokemon like tests. It barely follows the show if at all. However there is some redeeming qualities. Your Digimon will Digivolve. You start off with either Gabumon or Agumon and you can battle other Digimon. The two main objects that I know of in the game are to bring all Digimon that have "lost their hearts" (the equivalent to black gears in Season 1) back to the city and to fill up the Digimon Digivolutions Chart while your fillingup the city.
As I said at the start, it's mainly a virtual pet with a twist. You do have to take care of you Digimon as you go through the game. The Digimon can get sick, will have to use the washroom, eat, will become tired out when you train the stats at the stat-boosting facilities in the outside training gyms, and ask to sleep (which can be done anywhere.
The big reason of why I gave this game a three is all in all this game can drag on until you become good.

3-0 out of 5 stars it's ok
The game is ok long. Like pokemon, but better it's is way funner. Who is Hercules kabutermon is that the mega form of tentamon and how does he look. Reply if can.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Digimon World games out
Well. I just wanna say, this is one of the *best* Digimon world games out. I've played Digimon world 1 & 2003 (Digimon world 3). And from the description of Digimon world 2, it sounds alot like Digimon world 2003 and pokemon combinded. In Digimon world 1. You get sucked into one of the orginal Digimon Digivices (the very orginal ones. My favorite outa them all.). The game plays alot like how the Keychain plays. Your digimon digivolve based on how well you take care of it, just like the orginal thing, meaning you need effort to get the one you want, which means things will start out slow, and get a bit slower once your first digimon dies, but thats all part of the fun. Sure once it reaches ultimate level it dies a lil later on. But thats exactly how they had it in the keychain. Ya I'll admit that the pooping anywhere thing gets annoying, but buying a few porta potties neglects that. The storyline is good, but to me it just seems to be there for a add in. You go around getting Digimon that can still talk to join the main city (most of the Digimon forgot how to talk, and I forgot the main city's name.)As it gets bigger you can do more stuff in it. The graphics are beautiful, way better then the ones in Digimon World 2003 (I haven't seen the Digimon World 2 graphics yet, so I can't judge.) The music is awesome as well. Overall, this is one of the best Digimon World games out there.

5-0 out of 5 stars Digimon World the Best Game Ever!!!
You must get this game!!!I got it 9/16/04 which was my birthday!!!If you don't like Agumon or Gabumon no problem all you have to do is make them lose all of their lifes. You will get a really cute fresh Digimon. You can get a green egg, orangeegg, blue egg,and pink egg.You get a different Digimon with each one.If your a big fan of Bakumon you might want to kill Agumon or Gabumon 2 times and only win1 battle you got a Bakumon.Your going to die over this game you must and I mean must get the best game in the whole entire world and other worlds like mars I heard the kids there love all video games and there all video game experts.let the virus Digimon be with you.

5-0 out of 5 stars Digimon World the best!
This game is cool. But if you want your Digimon to Digivole into a certain Digimon its kinda hard peapeles 5 in under might find it hard.Anyways this reminds me of the hit seris Digimon. Is not like just battling its like what they do in Digimon. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best wario land game ever!
I have WL1,3 an 4 but i beat all of them. I played this a long time ago (first WL game i played) at friends house an i wanted a copy but gamestore didnt have copy of game at the time but they had wario land 3 so i got it (wario land 4 and the GBA didnt come out yet) then when gba an WL4 came out i got that but my friend didnt manage to get a GBA but got WL2 (luckily) an i played an beat it an thats how i beat all WL games. I played super mario land but not the 2nd one but i didnt really like it (its just me thats all). an a few days ago i got this game at gamestore! u should get it too cuz it leaves off after marioland 2 (i know the plot from end of SML2-WL4) ill explain thestory

END of SML2- Mario defeated wario an got his castle back and warios attempt to take over marioland failed...WL3:SML3- Wario realy wanted a castle but didnt know how to get one until he remembered a rumor about a gang of thieves (forgot name) stole a giant peach/toadstool statue that mario ( yes Mario) was foreverlookin for an Wario thot if he found it first, he could sell it for $$$ to the royal family so he headed off for his gold...and castle of coarse...this is where U come in to help wario on his journey....

You can get this game at some Gamestop stores, here from a seller, ebay, etc. its not that hard to find really an 15-20$ is a good deal for this game. WL4 is the easiest to get, then WL3, then WL1 (in my area) but WL2 is quite difficult to find...have fun with this game!

5-0 out of 5 stars this rocks
i have been playing it all the time lately and now i find itt really easy but whats good about it is you can save it unlike most game boy games i love it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game!
This game is simply a great game! It is very long too, I think there is something like 40 levels (although some of them are literally only 2-4 screens long, but really, theres only a couple of those).
First of all, there are many many things to discover; like for instance, if you have the hat that has the spikes on top and you jump and hit your head on the "ceiling" and press up on the + pad, youl'l hang there by you head!
There are also creative enimies, like there is one that is a dog that throws knives at you, and when the knife hits a wall, it will stick in it!
Anyway, this is just a really great game that will entertain you for probably weeks. So all in all, I really recomend this game.

Sincerely: Glowis

5-0 out of 5 stars Rise of ANOTHER Nintendo franchise!
I'm not sure how old this game is, but I know I've had it for quite awhile. For those fans of the franchise that have never played the original, I think you should be warned that this plays much like Mario than later Wario games. While this isn't a bad thing (Hardly!), it may disappoint some. You can see the beginings of the style and gameplay of Wario though, including moves and overall look of the game. A good pick if your a fan of Wario, Mario, or (just as likely) both!

4-0 out of 5 stars Better game than The original Super Mario Land
Yeah, I started playing this game, then, I got hooked to it.Even if it is about 8 years old, still good.I have the Super Mario Land game too.12 levels for original, for Warioland, about 39 levels.Plus, you can collect treasure to raise your money. At the end, you can change your money into a castle, or better. But I don't want to tell you if you collect 99999 coins. There are more bad guys and you can be a dragon, jet, bull, original, or baby wario.Hey!!! What is Mario doing here? What is he going to do at the ending?Play this game is so fun, try it!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Game Boy game ever; second best Zelda game ever
With The Minish Cap coming out soon, and looking to be another disappointment (I will reserve final judgment until I actually play it, but it has a definite Wind Waker vibe), the handheld gamer would do well to revisit this classic. The gameplay is incredible and compelling and the story is perhaps the best in the series; the only two faults with this game are minor for any true gamer. The graphics aren't very good; the sprites are simply poorer-quality A Link to the Past sprites oftentimes, but the game is so good one will hardly notice. The sound effects are pretty poor, but, thankfully, there's always the music to compensate for that...and what good music.

It feels like ALttP, looks like it, plays like it, and is second only to that excellent SNES game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Unstoppable!!!
I borrowed this game from a friend and I couldn't put it down! YOU HEAR ME?! I was playing for three hours straight until I had to give it back.I was at the end of Face Shrine.GET THIS GAME.It's worth the money.

4-0 out of 5 stars fun but frusterating game
I think that this is a really fun game and all, but it is really frusterating trying to get past that seventh level. If anyone has some advice for me it would be really appreciated. The reason I rate this game with four stars overall is because of the thought they put into making it but it would have been five stars if it had anything to do with the fabled princess Zelda from the other games. But this game is ultimatley fun and anyone who hasn't tried it should try it.Another game or two people should try is The Legand of Zelda a Link to the Past, The Legand of Zelda Ocarina of Time, and The Legand of Zelda Majora's Mask.Personally I've beaten all the games listed there.

5-0 out of 5 stars Legend of Zelda:Link's Awakening DX.....
Link's Awakening is probably the best Gameboy version of Zelda ever. Although, that is left to ones' opinion....It is in my opinion, however, to be.
The game begins with Link waking up in a hut. He is told by the locals that to leave and go back to Hyrule, he must awaken the Wind Fish. It lives inside an egg on top of a nearby mountain and can only be lulled from its' sleep by playing eight magical instruments. You spend your time trying to round up these eight instrumants but, in order to do so, you have to endure varying types of puzzles, traps and enemies. Each puzzle you're faced with has a logical solution, and you'll only come across a few situations that will require you to leave and get new items from the outside. Koholint Island, is big(by Gameboy standards anyhow) - even more so when you consider the hidden underground passageways, dungeons, and waterways so you'll have plenty of exploring to do with alot of secrets to uncover. You'll definitely spend countless hours playing this game.
Gameboy Color/Gameboy Advance owners are granted access to an all-new exclusive dungeon(although it isn't required or necessary to complete the game) plus those with a Gameboy printer get a photo scrapbook of Link's adventures that you can copy...hence the DX(deluxe) added at the end of the title of this version.
This is one classic that shouldn't be missed. If you've played any of the other Legend of Zelda games, you owe it to yourself to check it out. You don't know what you're missing.

5-0 out of 5 stars Winner!Best Game Boy Game
Before Game Boy Advance, there was Game Boy.On Game Boy, there was Link's Awakening. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening was the best game for Game Boy at the time, and still remains much more than a simple piece of nostalgia. Will Link's Awakening's graphics turn you off? They are still crisp today, and the color version should alleviate some of the dated aspects of LA's graphics, but don't expect 32-bit goodness that we might see in a GBA Zelda game. The sound is traditional Zelda fare with some now-classic tunes; this was the game that introduced the now popular "instrument" item that does neat stuff for you.

Make no mistake about it - Link's Awakening is a great game, a force to be reckoned with, and a savior for kids on long car trips. The puzzles in this game were particularly good, the storyline was new and refreshing, and the game was really fun.Replay value is high even though you will face the same dungeon challenges, but one time through this game might be enough since its length is decent even by today's standards. If you don't own a GBA, definitely buy this game.If you own a GBA..definitely buy this game anyway.Play it and love it.

This review refers to the DX version that was released on Game Boy Color, but it is not worth owning independently of the original game boy version.Certainly, if buying this game today, get the DX version. If you just really love Link's Awakening, don't overkill it - owning both is just silly. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Good, addictive puzzler
The Lemmings are here! And now, Lemmings, and Oh No! Even More Lemmings are back for more old-school gameplaying. The collected Lemmings titles are here for your PlayStation, and they're just as you remembered them. The gameplay is addictive and ingenious, and hasn't lost a bit of its charm (unless you played through it too many times back in the day). For those who aren't aware of what Lemmings are, here's a brief explanation. Lemmings are small "folk" with green-hair who do what they're directed to do; they walk in whichever direction you point them to; they perform tasks you tell them to; and they die if you direct them to. Lemmings, in essence, only do what they're told -- the very basis of the game. It's up to you to take them to their base before they die. Therein lies the task. The levels are designed to confuse, obstruct, and trip you up. Thankfully, Lemmings are evolved creatures, relatively speaking of course. They have diversified abilities, or tasks. These tasks range, and different levels require various strategy use of these abilities. You're given a list of Lemmings including Bombers, Builders, Bashers, Floaters, and a litany of others. The real trick is to use the right task for the right obstacle, and with accurate timing. In some cases, you might use as many as five or six different tasks to complete the mission. Since the game contains two previously released titles, the amount of levels reaches into three figures. There are hours and hours of gameplay to be had here. A normal Lemmings go-round usually lasts either only 15 minutes (a mild mental exercise), or about six hours, miminum. It's rare that anyone can actually pull himself or herself away for any shorter time.

I play this game on PC since i was 7... it's fun... u have to figure out the way to clear each level... it's may take time when u get to the harder level but hey... don't u think the game that get u to think better than the game that u can clear it easily!? anyway, i hope u enjoy it as i do...

5-0 out of 5 stars MORE LEMMINGS PLEASE!
I LOVE THIS GAME ITS FUN BECAUSE ITS FUN! I HOPE IT COMES OUT FOR PS4! HAVE FUN!

2-0 out of 5 stars I don't want Male Pattern Baldness at my age.
Many may consider the lemmings series a revolutionary puzzle game.In some ways it is, you take a species of morons and guide them threw an underground world of blood curdling traps. However after the first 5 puzzles you will literally start ripping your hair out in frustration.YOu will be cursing day in and day out if you even attempt to beat this. The variouse difficulties don't help either.
To maek matters worse there are no Gameshark Codes, or cheat codes in general for this, maybe thats because no one ever beat this damn thing.
I would rent this if you want to relive some good old lemmings fun, but if you have never tried this than don't bother, you will just rip your hair out. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A Sloan Bishop Review
MKT is all of the charactors from MK 1,2 and 3 with 3's story. If you like the old school games, you'll love this one.

Pros:
*Features over 30 charactors.
*Has many fun codes and cheats.

Cons:
*Very outdated graphics(that's a given).
*Very, VERY hard to beat.
*No secret charactors to unlock.

5-0 out of 5 stars Whoo Hoo!!!
I found this game really awsome.I suggest anyone to buy this game if you are mature enough, and can handle a little blood.

5-0 out of 5 stars This game was almost perfect.
I did not own this game for Playstation, I owned it for PC. But they are exactly the same.

After an upgrade past windows 95, this game never would work on my PC again. But I have thought about getting the Playstaion for this game (or a rom, shhhh)

This game combined mortal kombat's 1, 2, 3 and another version, I forget the name into the one game. And that was a great move. Finally all the charactors where playable in the one game, even hidden charactors where findable like a cool charactor named Chameleon who was a ninja, but kept changing, he'd morph into scorpion, sub zero, reptile, rain ect...

All the charactors where there. But not all the backgrounds where, a few where missing. What made this game the best was turning on one button fatality isntead of memorising thousand step codes that wouldnt always work. You's just go to the options menu and hold Up, and the block buttons or something and it would let you access a secret option menu where you could select the cool cheats. One button fatalitys was the best, you could press one button when it said finish to do the finisher 1, 2, freind shipm animality ect.. this is still my favorite MK game. I have rated it here because the N64 version sucked and was not a trilogy, it was MK3 with a few extra charactors.

5-0 out of 5 stars MORTAL KOMBAT MAGNUM OPUS!!
Mortal Kombat Trilogy has everything a Mortal Kombat fan could ever ask for!All of the characters from MK I, II, III, and UMK III, all the fatalities, all the stages, an enhanced CD soundtrack (the music for the Rooftop/Pit III is the best tune!)I used to play this a lot with my one friend who lives in New York and he is the only other person who can beat me at Mortal Kombat.I'm undefeated against anyone else who challenges me.My favorite characters are Scorpion (GET OVER HERE!), Sub-Zero, Raiden, Kintaro, and Shao Kahn. The MK movie was good but it's sequel, Anniahlation sucked donkey balls. That was random, but oh well. This is a must-buy PS1 or PS2 game that is hard to find right now and a purchase that you won't regret.I still want MK: DA or MK:DE, but I will never ever sell this game!It didn't even cross my mind when I got a PS2 and sold my PS1.Don't listen to anything anyone says about this game not working on PS2 because it's not true.If you experience any problems it is because you need to turn off the Texture Smoothing and Disc Speed options that are unnecessary for this game which has great graphics on its own and fantastic music that runs at a normal speed.Buy this game! :)

4-0 out of 5 stars MK wraps up the 2D era pretty well
Mortal Kombat Trilogy was a great game. It, obviously compiles all of the first three MK games in one package and it's made even better with the one button fatalities, animalities, babalities, brutalities, and the friendships. I heard also, that you can also, for the first time play as my favorite charactar, Shao Kahn. The only problem, I feel I must warn you is that the game is as hard as Hell. This is pretty much the only problem with the 2D Mortal Kombat games. So, if you're in for a challange and you are a Mortal Kombat fan like I am, you might want to pick this up. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars best, most real fishing game invented
This game is by far the best most acurate fishing game ever made. It even comes with it's own controller that is used just like a real rod. To cast you must swing you arm to get the lure into the water. The same goes for setting the hook when you get a bite. You must jerk your arm back to set it or the fish will get away.

The best part about this game is that you cannot see the fish in the water. When you are fishing you must look for locations that would produce fish, also you must use your fish findertoo. It's very real, seasons change in real life and they do in the game as well. In real life you must change locations when seasons change so in the game much is the same.

The level of game play can also change. You can fish in free fish mode. This mode lets you enjoy fishing at your own pace, so you can bulid your skills for the Tournament mode. This mode lets you compete with other anglers for the 1st place spot in the championship. You must learn how to fish under all differnt conditions rain, cold weather, windy, and warm.

This game was made for the fisherman by fisherman. Something you do not see when it comes to outdoor games. Usually games are very unreal, leading to disapointing purchase. Not with this game you will begin happy and end happy!!!!

The game also has many kinds of fish not just bass. There is Trout,Blue Gill,Carp,Snakehead,Largemouth Bass,Smallmouth Bass,Spotted Bass,Florida Bass, and others. pick up a copy you will be impressed. But I'm not liable for sore fingers due to extended game play because it will be hard to put down!!!!!! Enjoy, and good fishing!

5-0 out of 5 stars Best fishing game ever, when are we getting BassLanding 2
This is the best fishing game ever. My only concern is that agetec has taken so long to bring us Bass Landing 2. We are waiting

5-0 out of 5 stars Hope number 2 is on it's way
I've played about every fishing game possible and this one is the best ever. It definitely is the most addictive game ever. My biggest bass so far is over 14 pounds. I do recomend this game to anyone. I have only two problems with it, I would have liked it if there were more lakes and more tournaments. Exelent

4-0 out of 5 stars Good game made BETTER with the fishing controller
The game is good on it's own, but it's a MUST HAVE for the controller! While this game is not as easy as some fishing games (digital fish finder, and not an underwater view.) the robust tutorial mode will have you out on the lake and catching lunkers in no time. It will help you pick lures and land lunker sized bass in other games as well(Great for picking up the Bass fishing basicsbasics!) In addition, it provides great real-world bass fishing tips, tricks, and training (when to use certain lures, ways to cast, ways to do lure action). There are a variety of lakes to choose from, and a couple of different kinds of fish to catch. The tournaments are very challenging, and completeing them all gives you a special reward.

The fishing controller is what makes this a sweet deal. It's compatible with almost every fishing game out there, and adds to the realism of the game. Sometimes with some games the casting is a little sketchy (I thought I put more oomph in it than that???), but all in all it's a nice piece of hardware that makes a good game better.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Must Have!
I bought this game for my 12 year old. He landed a bass the first time he played. This has gotten the whole family playing! At first it is a little overwhelming especially if you try to jump right in without reading the instructions. When you finally do take the time it turns out to be a really fun game. Very realistic. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

Tribunal expands the scope of Morrowind and includes more of what made Morrowind such a great game. It offers a large and detailed world, alien landscapes, and a great deal of intrigue, as well as the freedom of exploration unique to Morrowind. The basic plot embroils your character with two members of the Tribunal, a cadre of god-like people who watch over all the land. There’s something afoot in the isle of Mournhold, and it’s up to you to get to the bottom of it.

Tribunal’s biggest addition is more real estate. An entire new island can be reached as soon as you install the game; you need not complete Morrowind first, but it helps because the story picks up from where the main game left off. Mournhold was designed as a response to players who felt Morrowind was too easy for high-level characters--it’s a dangerous place to be. Thankfully, you can hire mercenaries or pack animals to help you out, and a new journal helps keep track of quests.

Some Morrowind fans might be disappointed that the new landscape isn’t as big as Morrowind. Part of the problem is that travel is a breeze: an in-game mechanic makes it quick and easy to get from point A to point B, but you lose the fun of hitting all points in between. Still, if fast transit isn’t your thing you can hit the mainland for some hiking.

The graphics remain state-of-the-art and the new monsters and content are beautiful and well crafted--this is what happens when a talented team can spend all their time creating adventures, rather than worrying about creating the tools and game engine. Tribunal is well worth the time and money for fans wanting a bit more Morrowind to explore. --Andrew S. Bub

Pros:

  • More Morrowind to explore
  • Tighter focus, better quests
  • Better high level content
Cons:
  • More linear than Morrowind
  • No guild quests

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Good Game
Okay, fellow Morrowind fans, remember bringing the game home, excited? ready to expreiance what is told to be one of the best RPGs ever? Well, after installing, you start, get mystified in the voice of Jiub? Then getting lead up to the census office to complete your files. Then the best part, you walk out into Pelgaid and then WOW! Biggness, you get a tinkling feeling down your spine, wow, you can tell this is gonna be good.

Just get this game, but make sure you have a respectable computer to run it.

For players who are bored, don't know what to do? Take a trip around the island, trust me, in no time you can raise levels and have fun doing it!

4-0 out of 5 stars WOW!One of the most sophisticated games ever!
This game's so fun, but it's also so hard! There are too many things to do, but it's fun!You can do anything you want, you can be anyone you want, and WOW!

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow
This is truely an amazing game! I will admit that I have the xbox version instead of the pc, but the basic gameplay is the same. When you first pop the game into your console you may be a little dissapointed with the graphics, (asuming that you have the pc edition, considering that the xbox versions graphics are presently unmatched) because it takes a super fast comp to get the most out of the landscape and character graphics, but even then the graphics arent so bad as to ruin the game. If you really dont mind graphics and care more about the gameplay and quests (you'll get more of these than you need) then this is the ultimate rpg for you. The game is entirely open-ended and once your release forms are signed you will be free to do as you please. Strait away you can pick up any weapon (stealing it of coarse) and get a price on your head. You can now either pay your fine, go to jail, or resist arrest. (this being one of my favorites;) Go ahead and slaughter the whole of Seyda neen if you want, no-one's stopping you, (accept the 18 gaurds that are now chasing you). The class selection is huge and very important as to how you complete the main quest, if you ever choose to do so. Your character becomes more intellegent as you go, and grows better at the things he/she practices more. Over 120 hours of gameplay here and never a dull moment. Enjoy!

P.S - I forgot to mention that with your order of morrowind you'll also recieve the TES construction set, which allows you to create, drag, and drop new characters, creatures, and items into any nook and crany of the HUGE world of morrowind. So if you want to add a crate with the best armor or weapons the game has to offer right outside the building where you start, go ahead! You can also create new quests that can be super hard with dismal rewards or the exact opposite with a few clicks of the mouse and a good idea. This is the best feature of the computer version in my opinion, and btw, it is ONLY for the comp version. So pick up a copy today and you won't be dissapointed.

4-0 out of 5 stars Achieved instant classic status with art alone.
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (Bethesda Softworks, 2001)

So I picked up Morrowind a few years ago, when I still had a computer that was capable of running most things. I installed it, and the best I could get out of it after all the tweaking I could do was 0.2fps. It says something about the game that I played it for weeks with 0.2fps. I had never seen anything quite like it, and I was willing to take ten minutes to get from building A to building B just to look at the amazing graphics.

I upgraded the computer a while ago, and I dusted off Morrowind and started playing again about three months ago. The new computer actually runs it like a computer game instead of an art slideshow, so I can finally say something about it.

I played, briefly, both Arena and Daggerfall, the first two Elder Scrolls games. I was put off both by the absolutely horrible combat interface, despite having heard so many wonderful things about Daggerfall's gameplay. The first thing I noticed was that Bethesda has made the combat interface far, far simpler now (a simple "use best attack automatically" checkbox will stop you from having to learn eighteen different ways to swing a sword, thankfully). The second was that the character-building interface is much, much better in this one; Daggerfall's was already head and shoulders above that of other CFRPGs (so much so that it was riffed on in the best freeware RPG on the planet, ADOM), but Morrowind expands the character creation interface, allowing for as much or as little detail as the player would like; you can choose one of the premade character kits, have the game choose one for you by answering questions a la Daggerfall, or customize your own. From there, the game just sits at your feet, waiting for commands. There is a main storyline, and those who like linear gameplay can get involved in it immediately; for the rest of you, there's the rest of Vvardenfell. The game can be as linear or non-linear as the player would like it to be, with only a few things closed off to newbies (usually trainers or traders who dead with high-level stuff; the way they're closed off, though, is so non-intrusive as to not bother the average player at all.) There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of easter eggs to be had throughout Vvardenfell, encouraging exploration for the sake of exploration, rather than to follow a dull, overused storyline, as in most CFRPGs. Quests outside the main storyline are also to be found in great abundance, and players can spend months of both game- and real-time doing those while nursing the main storyline (again, assuming you opt to follow it) along at whatever pace the player likes. (I assume the ability to get kicked out of guilds for just not doing anything still exists; I've yet to run across it.)

And, as I mentioned before, the artwork is stunning. In 2001, there wasn't another computer game that included anything close to this level of detail. At the end of 2004, there are a handful of games that match it, but none of them have the same feel as Morrowind; as realistic as things often look, there's still a weird, out-of-place feel to it all that makes many situations that much more disturbing.

Many of the complaints originally voiced by players in the game have been silenced thanks to the two add-ons and a few patches; I do suggest getting both Bloodmoon and Tribunal as well, and installing them, then patching, before playing. Even with the patches, I still use a notebook to track quests and the like, but the game does do it for you now.

The last game that kept me up this late at night this often was Lords of Magic, back in the mid-nineties. Morrowind is one for the ages. **** ½

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Game Ever; Until Oblivion comes...
This has got to be the best game ever in my opinion. As was Arena and Daggerfall when they came out. (For people not in the know, those were parts 1 and 2 in the Elder Scrolls) This game has an unlimited amount of fun playing hours. I've put in as many as 40 hours a week on this game. I've had it for almost 2 years and still play it about 8 hours a week. I've beat the main quest (Tribunal and Bloodmoon as well) yet its always fun to get side-tracked in the hudreds and hudreds of other quests. BEST GAME EVER!!! But of course I'll be saying the same thing when Oblivion hits! (Elder Scrolls Part 4 for the uninformed) This game is a definite buy as are the 2 expansion sets! ... Read more

WarCraft II isn't exactly the freshest real-time strategygame on the market, but that doesn't mean it's any less fun than it usedto be. For those of you who missed it the first time around, WarCraftII is set in a fantasy realm where knights hack at trolls withswords, deadly spells crisscross the battlefield, and powerfulfortresses dot the landscape. The game pits the evil orcs against thehumans, letting players choose whichever side they want in a series ofbattles over the world. With the WarCraft II: Battle Chest, players can experience themagic of the original game along with the added enhancements of theBeyond the Dark Portal expansion pack. Rounding out the BattleChest is a complete strategy guide that will walk beginners throughthe basics and provide more experienced players with advanced tactics sothey can master the game. That's good, because players will need all thehelp they can get challenging other WarCraft II fans online. It'spossible to challenge one to eight other players on the developer's freeBattle.net servers, while more solitary gamers can immerse themselves inone of the fun single-player campaigns or stand-alone missions.WarCraft II's finely balanced gameplay has lost none of itscharm, even if the graphics are aging. In most missions you start with asmall force and must gather enough resources to build a strong base ofoperations that can field a formidable army. We had the most fun withthe set-piece battles, where we had to shepherd a few beleaguered troopsacross an enemy-infested map to either link up with a larger force onthe other side or protect a hero on his way to some goal. Blizzard isfamous for delivering games with terrific production values, timelessgameplay, and lots of extras, and the WarCraft II: Battle Chest isan inexpensive reminder of why the company has such a terrificreputation. --T. 5-0 out of 5 stars One of my all time favorite RTS games ever
Although Warcraft 3 and its expansion have come out within the last few years, I still prefer Warcraft 2 a bit more. Yes the game looks kinda dated now, but it is still a blast to play. The game was fun in that it never got too complicated or anything so that newcomers could always have a good time. The map editor was easy to use and the online play in the Battle.net edition will keep you busy for a while. Anyways, if you've only played Warcraft 3 then it might be difficult for you to enjoy this game since it is so old, but if your willing to look past the graphics then you'll find a real gem.

5-0 out of 5 stars Oops
Great game.It looks like amazon actually posted a screenshot of warcraft I: Orcs and Humans, instead of a picture from this game.

4-0 out of 5 stars Aging but still good
This game has definitely been around for awhile, but there's a reason it's still played. It's fun!The interface is easy to use, and the 'tech tree' aspect is fairly simple so that even people who haven't played other rts games should have to trouble learning it.

There are a couple of downsides to this game, though in my opinion they aren't much of an issue. One is of course that the graphics are definitely aging and nothing spectacular. It's nice to be able to quickly recognize your units so that you can make the best use of them (high detail can get in the way of that) but don't expect the graphics to wow you. Also, this game runs on a 2D engine, rather than the 3D engine that more recent games are using.

Secondly is that I wasn't incredibly impressed by the campaigns. They tend to get a little repetitive, so most of the time I find myself just playing a custom game.

Another similar game I might recommend instead of this one would be Starcraft. The graphics are slightly better, and the game is just as interesting. Then of course there is Warcraft III out now, which has a 3D engine and a couple of additional races besides human and orc.Aside from the things I mentioned, this game really is very good.I've been playing it for years and haven't gotten tired of it yet!

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Game Ever- period!
Warcraft2 is an awesome game that has been around a lomg time...a classic. While some say that its graphics are aging, I love the undetailed, squat Orcs, among other things. Welcme to the World of Warcraft!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars RTS legend.
This game is the first RTS game that I have played along with Starcraft and Lords of the Realm 2. But Lords of the Realm 2 (Starcraft is a whole diffrent stoty) didn't have what Warcraft had. The easy to get used to gameplay with great graphics in terms of running smooth, the very low system requirement, and the satisfaction of the Battle.net. I have not played this game since 2000 (Because my dad broke my CD. Read my Starcraft Battle Chest review.) so I don't know if anyone plays online now but all I know is that I had the most fun playing this game back in 2000. I remember the satisfaction that I had with my friends after beating the opponent with my ogres and the dragons. This game ran fine when I used to have Intel Celeron 400MHZ, 64mb ram, and 56k modem. So if you get this game right now, you shouldn't have any technical problems. Also this game is very easy to get used to with easy gameplay and great graphics for an outdated game. This game is definitly a must have if you are a RTS fan. You should know that Warcraft started it all. It started the great RTS gaming genre. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars MUCH better than it looks
First off, let me say that initially I didn't like this game - I'm not particularly fond of this kind of music, and when I watched the guy across the hall play it, I just thought it was ... stupid.
But then he made ME play it, and I was hooked.
Gameplay is fast and exciting, and it has enormous replay value - getting your score just a bit higher to access the bonus levels is just as fun (if not more so) than trying to beat the initial levels. While the lower two difficulty levels can get kind of boring, they ARE supposed to be easy, and the highest still provides a nice challenge even after a LOT of play.
I have seen reviews which said that the backgrounds were bad, and that it was better without them. While I was originally of this impression, I tried playing with the blank background, and it just wasn't as fun. The backgrounds actually contribute to the game by providing more of a challenge for you as you go along, and some of them can be quite impressive (if chaotic).
All in all, a great game, even for those who don't particularly like beat games (like me) and don't like this kind of music (also like me). Don't form your opinion of this game watching other people play it - you actually have to try it yourself.

1-0 out of 5 stars NO POINT
I HAD MORE FUN GOING TO THE BATHROOM.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID.

2-0 out of 5 stars Mom flunked
I bought this for my 12 and 15 yr olds based on the positive reviews. Both kids think it stinks and can't believe I wasted my money!

5-0 out of 5 stars All u need to know about this game
I have to come out an say it. This is the most addicting music video game ever made. I got the demo, and was just enthralled with it. I couldnt put it down. I bought the full version days later for 20$ at kb. It was the last copy an they wanted to rid of it. Play online for more fun. A must buy for anyone who likes a hip beat.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great fun with great music
This great PS2 game combines great music with finger-tapping fun. It might seem easy at first, but soon you're caught up in the musical action!

There are other games out there that make you 'dance to the beat' or hit buttons in rhythm. Frequency takes this to a new level by breaking up real songs into their components - guitar, drum, synth, etc - and letting you play along with ANY of the parts.

Get strings of hits done properly to gain points, and tag special sequences to get multipliers or other bonusses. Advance through levels to unlock secrets, and increase the difficulty level on any song to challenge yourself further.

These aren't 'generic beats' you're playing along with. You get to choose from No Doubt, Fear Factory, Orbital, Paul Oakenfold, Curve, The Crystal Method, and many more. So not only is the gameplay great, but the music you get to listen to is great, too!

Design your own mixes of the songs, or even better, play the game with friends! The game truly shines when you take it into multiplayer. You can do that with extra controllers, or the best way to play is on line with the PS2 Online setup. Get three other players from around the globe to join you, and together you can really get a song to shine. It's amazingly fun to go from your own simple bassline and to hear the other players chime in with their parts. It's an on line jam session!

Highly recommended for any music fan, and even those not heavily into music but who enjoy games like tetris and bubbles will find it quite addicting. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Shoot that darn Klingon!
This Game is by far the most beautiful Quake III game on the market.Since I'm not great at these games, Istill haven't finished it, but so far it has a engrossing storyline and most of the characters are believable (all except for that Kleeya, talk about fast women, sheesh!)Gameplay is great, I'd suggest getting a two button mouse for all you mac users who haven't graduated from that pitiful one button thing.I have an iBook that I bought at the beginning of school last semester and it runs pretty well on it at medium resolution and with anti-aliasing.Great game, I highly recommend it. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Hours of sadistic fun
I love this game to death. I want to be buried with it. It's flawed, but my love is unconditional.

Deception 3 takes the basic structure of the second installment, Kagero, and adds oodles more options and ways to torment your enemies (the heroine [?] isn't as scantily clad, though). You create traps by adding "emblems" such as lightning, cold, and chaos to core components like falling rocks and arrow slits. Furthermore, each trap can be upgraded by boosting its range or damage or by shortening the length of time it takes to charge up, and also by adding magic rings to add effects such as summoning (foes are drawn to the trap's location, making it ever so much easier to butcher them). There are several different buildings in which you run amok, each boasting its own assortment of rooms, some of which have built-in traps of their own such as electrified walls and pillars that can be knocked over to crush the unwary. Your adversaries include typical fantasy RPG types like thieves, knights, and witches, but Deception 3 is far more dark and grim than a standard game of Dungeons & Dragons. The death cries of your foes conjure up images of voice actors in a recording studio, frothing at the mouth with their eyes ready to pop out of their heads, and the non-linear storyline (with multiple endings, I might add) nicely illustrates that a human being can be a far more sinister, bloodthirsty monster than some lame dragon or werewolf.

The graphics during actual gameplay do a nice job contributing to the morbid atmosphere, but, admittedly, are a little dated by more modern standards. However, the images for the between-chapter menu screens are still mighty cool. Similarly, the music is lacking in variety, but what is there has a superb gothic feel and really enhances the mood of the game. Controls are simple and tight, and the challenge level is, for the most part, fairly low, but not so low that you'll be able to breeze through the game with your eyes closed (especially when you're up against a HellKnight...not only are they bad news with a capital B, they truly do look menacing enough to make you think twice about staying in their vicinity).

Few games give you such a great sense of "completeness." Deception 3 is undoubtedly the best game in the series. Its main story mode sustains its deliciously dark tone from start to finish, and the trap license mode, where you must accomplish tasks such as killing an enemy with a specific trap or racking up a certain number of points within a certain amount of time, adds to the replay value signifiantly. It's a real feast for the senses if your tastes lean towards the dark side.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good game that will keep you hooked
I wasn't sure about this game at first since you can only use the D pad.It turned out to be a lot of fun and really kept me intrested.it has 4 diff. endings and even though it is kind of a sad story, it takes a lot of thought and skill.I really liked it.

4-0 out of 5 stars it's time to get bad
this is one of the best games of all times for many reasons such as there are hundreds of traps you can choose as to kill an invader or monsters that will destroy the invaders instantly.you ask why do you need these items tokill people because your bad to the bone and this time the bad team isgonna triumph over all.if you have ever played deception 1 or kagerodeception 2 you already knows how the game plays, but if your a first timekiller than this is how you play=you get a view as if you were the killerseyeballs and you have to set traps and build on to your castle as well asupgrade your trtaps and monsters to be more lethal and deadlier.trust methis is one game that you gonna get hooked on.DECEPTION AWAITS

4-0 out of 5 stars Great game, but sluggish story.
As far as game play Deception 3 is exceptional with more traps, more places to place them, more interactive environments, and a new "jump to the side move".The graphics even look better, but the story istedious; now in Japan they get voice actors and a pretty cool movie, but weget subtitles, which diminishes the story greatly. The game is great, butthe load time is horrific, and a slow story with subtitles that can't beturned off only makes it worse.

4-0 out of 5 stars Killer of a game....
The Tecmo people have put a very interesting twist into there latest game, Deception 3, by allowing you to be the "bad guy". If you are tired of the traditional " conquer the castle" type of game youwill love this game.In here you can keep coming up with more and moreimaginitive ways to kill off the "invaders" of your castle. Anincredible game very much enjoyed by my husband and I, but may not besuitable for small children or squemish people. ... Read more
