Works - but product is NOT as advertised
This product came with permanently attached cables, not a breakout component box as shown. It seems to work fine and the cables appear to be of acceptable quality for 480p/720p/1080i. Optical connection is on the top of the XBox' multi-digital AV connection piece (not sure what its proper name is).

Hoax!!!
I have the HD AV Pak that is advertised here and lent it to my friend until I purchased my HD television.He bought this HD AV pak thinking it was the same one since they are both supposedly made by Microsoft and was around the same price.Not to mention the picture looks EXACTLY the same.However, he did not receive the item displayed but a generic version!!!A generic version would be fine but it should not cost the same as the original and should NOT be sold as the original item.I love Amazon and have purchased many things from them but this is very disappointing.

It works
I bought my X-Box used online, and they guy sent a ton of extra accessories when he shipped it, this AV pak included.I must say, having Dolby Digital is really nice, especially in games like Halo, it totally surrounds you and makes you feel like your that much more in the game.I don't have a High-Def TV, so I can't comment on the picture quality, but based on the quality of all the X-Box branded hardware/accessories I've used, I'd say it's probably top-notch. ... It's like picking the longer straw
I had a friend buy me this cheaper XBox controller so that I had more than two controllers to play multiplayer. The only reason why this deserves the one star it has is because it's a joke trying to decide who gets to use this awful piece of poo. The controller is slightly bigger than the original controller with the grips turned more inside, providing for an even odder grip. The buttons stick and are very unresponsive. Spend the extra money and buy the original or the S.

[STINKS]
This pad [stinks]. It just plain out [stinks]. the pad doesnt fit your hand right, it's huge. Also the buttons [stink] too, half the time you press them they dont work. Stick to the original xbox controller its ur best bet, I've tried every controller out and its the best!

Controller doesn't work right
I got this controller and am very dissapointed with it since it simply doesn't work correctly. The buttons require too much force to push down making it very unresponsive, the force feedback doesn't feel quite right, and it sometimes just says that the controller is disconnected. Don't buy this, spend the extra few dollars for the actual Microsoft one, it works much much better.

Nice, Cheap, but questionable quality.
The Power Pad for XBox by Interact is one the cheapest third party controlers currently avaliable for the system. This controller sports essentially the same configuration as the Microsoft branded controler and is similar in size. As an entry level controller for the casual gamer or for someone who just needs extra controlers for say a multiplayer match of the very popular Halo game for XBox. Then the Power Pad is the way to go. However for the serious gamer this is not an option as I found this gaming pad to be not as responsive as the Microsoft branded controlers. The main buttons need to be pushed directly instead of being able to just tap them. I also noticed that the controler itself was not as sturdy as the analog sticks were lose and you could press in on them to easily. However with the responsivness issues aside I found the Power Pad to be an adaquet controler.

highly unreliable
The first piece I ordered did not work. The replacement worked but one of the thumbsticks was behaving erratically. After misicing and matching components from the original and replacement set, i was able to make it work. But after a month of sparse use, the unit stopped working again! Until they learn to make more reliabile devices, keep away from these units.

GREAT CONTROLLER!!!!!
i ogt this controller after christmas, and i think it is the best controller i have ever used. the only problem is that before i wore it in it sometimes would just stop sending a signal to the xbox. i thik it was because of the microwave in my house, or the phone on the same frequency (2.4). but it is a great product, more than i expected.

Wireless Wonder
With only two previous reviews, I feel compelled to give everyone the real skinny on this near clone of the original Microsoft Xbox controller (not the "s" controller).It is extremely comfortable, even after several hours of non-stop gaming.It includes a "RECHARGEABLE" battery pack and charger.The battery lasts for about 60 hours of use, and recharges in 4 hours.The controller works wirelessly on 2.4 Ghz frequency.This is great and very reliable, however, a word of caution; if you have other wireless items nearby, such as a phone or router that uses 2.4 Ghz frequency, this may cause intermittent interference.When using the controller next to my 2.4 Ghz wireless phone, when the phone rings or is in use, it causes the controller to act somewhat irrational during gameplay.I gather this is an issue not exclusive to this product or manufacturer, but to all electronics using the same radio frequency in close proximity.The controller has vibration control, and is excellent for FPS and TPS games, as well as for other games.Tested on 12 games and works exceptionally well.Also has turbo feature and is made of high quality with rubberized grips and thumbsticks.Only gave this controller 4 stars, instead of 5 stars, due to a repeated issue involving the controller having a tendency to occaisionally drift to the right on the left thumbstick, even when the stick is not being touched.This isn't an issue for most games, but presents an issue for shooter games, since pinpoint accuracy/control is needed.I've had the controller for a week, and really enjoy using it.The manufacturer claims it works to 30 feet away.The receiver also has two memory card slots, and is visually pleasing and complimentary to the system.My plan is to return this controller to Toys'R'Us, and exchange it for another one.Hopefully, the issue won't be there on the new one.Worth the 50 bucks. If the issue repeats, I'll still keep the controller and deal with its personality.

Something wireless that finally work's. This is a great controller, and it works with all my games. Forget about the reviews that says it doesn't work. The only problem I've had with this controller is that it didn't come with that nice silver trimming around the buttons like the picture.

Super! No not that super.
Well if you read above I said it was not that spuer, well it isin't! It's not super, it's better than super! It's super-de-duper! I mean with a retractable cord and rapid fire button so you can program your favorite combos in Soul Calibur 2, it's, well, BETTER than the official Nintendo GameCube Controller! It has a cool white color and it actually has the loveable shape and feel of the official one. It also doesn't have those weird shaped buttons like other 3rd party controllers do. So buy this baby if you are in need of a new controller.

Very Good Controller
This is probably the best 3rd party controller out for the GC. It has a retractable cable that makes storing it much easier. The buttons are veryresponsive and, so far, i've had no problems. I actually use this controller more than the regular GC one because of it's functions and my original controller seems to have problems with the joystick. It also has a macro button which allows you to combine 15 button functions onto one button. Very good with rapid fire games.
