Addiction of Another Kind
I've been playing games on LIVE since August of last year and definitely have to say for the past year, it hasn't skipped a beat as far as being entertaining, exciting, and just plain ol' fun. Definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys gaming, it takes those boring offline games and stomps on 'em...turning you on to a whole different world. All these new LIVE titles being released, your options of games to play online is definitely on the rise. I'm a junkie for the LIVE titles, but can honestly say I still enjoy tearing up the track on MotoGP lol :)

Forget that guy who says the number are declining
I went online last night to play midtown madness 3 for a couple min, I DID NOT GO TO BED TILL 2, and the only reason I stopped was that i had to get up at 7. That whole 2 hours was just talking and playing "cruise" mode, no point except maybe to make friends and then go and play the other 4 or so online modes. There is very little lag, hardly noticable and only annoying when 2 or more people join the game at the same time, rarely happens. I have fever 2003, unreal, Midtown Madness 3 and Splinter cell(extra missions) and well they are all worth every cent (fever only cause it was like 10 bucks, the game's controls are horrid tho). At any rate the xbox live package is well worth it, but FIRST CHECK ... is your router is compatible! If i lost my account (not gonna happen) i wouldn't hesitate to go get XBL back that same day! MUST HAVE for true multiplayer experience, no more bots and cheating computer sims. hope to see ya soon

The Way Games Should Be Played
I got XBL a few weeks ago and I could not wait to get home from the office to play it.Hooking it up was a little tedious with the controller, but remember you only have to do that once.The speed of the games on-line are mind blowing and the graphics are eye popping.

I had a chance to go to E3 and from what I understand there are over 70 new XBL titles coming out by the Holiday Season.I am dieing to get my hands on Halo 2 and Hunter the Redeemer. I had to get a router so that I could go online while my Xbox is hooked up, but that is no big deal.

Not impressed
I would not recommend this wheel to anyone. I could have lived with the problem where the pedals and buttons would sometimes stop working and require that the Xbox be restarted, but the thing which I found totally unacceptable was how poor a controller this actually was. Let me state at the outset that I was aware of the different sensitivity settings as well as the ability to reprogram the button assignments, and I did experiment with all the different settings. With that said, I found that on "Project Gotham Racing 2" trying to make course corrections would have no effect while you were in the 'null' area of the wheel, and as soon as you moved beyond the null area, it would immediately put you into a wall. As for times when I was cornering, the wheel did not seem linear at all and I found myself hitting the wheel limits (90º left/right) too soon so that I was left plowing into the outside edge of a corner that I had previously had no problems with while using a thumb controller. I found it very frustrating that, after many practice laps, I still wasn't able to even match, let alone beat, my times using the standard Xbox controller. All in all, a very disappointing product - I had higher expectations of something bearing the "Officially licensed for the Xbox" moniker.

Not a good choice
The only good thing I can say about this wheel, is that it worked as soon as I plugged it in with no set up or configuration (other than the table clamp)

I tried several games with this wheel..Apex, Gotham Racing, Need for Speed, RalliSport..and in all the games, the results were the same.

Firstly, the wheel is too small, it needs to be a little bit bigger.Second, there is alot of play in the wheel, for racing, you want the wheel to be responsive to small movements.This is not the case.Third, the button positions could be much better, they are difficult to reach while trying to drive.

I would not suggest getting this wheel, it just doesn't do racing justice

Pretty Good Wheel
Out of the box, the "Pro Victory" instructions are a little confusing. Called the factory customer service, and was connected within a minute. Was quickly told how to program the wheel, gas and brakes and it then worked very nicely. The steering sensitivity control, which I found best at the "medium" setting worked well and I did not have the difficulty others have written about.
All in all, the wheel adds a measure of realism to road games and is recommended for racing enthusists.

All or nothing.
To say the center dead spot is "huge" is an understatement. There is no "minute adjustments" with this wheel. You're either going straight or turning 90 degrees.

i bought it for use with Rallisport Challenge and it is totally unusable. The game demands constant steering input, and this wheel doesn't give it to you. The sensitivity adjustment button on mine must be broke, because pushing it to change the sensitivity had no discernable effect.

The controls are, apparently, not user configurable either. The paddles, for some bizarre reason, control your gas and brake instead of your gears, and there's not a thing you can do to change it. Very counter-intuitive.

i will be returning this wheel.

okay, you people make no sense in speaking about system's.
here's something short and simple

XBOX is like your home computer, it will have it's up's and down's.

For the most common problem with the xbox.
dvd rom:
- games freezes up
- will not start up the system properly
- DVD-rom is filled with dust.
- laser lens is broken
If you want the system to last for few years, try not to play with the system for more than 6hours, considering that some games will actually take 48 to 100 hours to finish and yes they're very addicting.

The system does over heat but mainly from the dvd rom only. Over 10,000 console have had this problem and if you surf the net, you will be able to read about people complaints on the system.

GREAT PRICE & GREAT PACKAGE!!!
This really is a great unit and a great package, even if the included games are not your favorite. The price alone makes it worth it & you can trade or sell the games that you don't like! To Cameron (below) from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; You should only apologize for your pure ignorance (that being said in every sense of the words meaning. Oh...You do own a dictionary, don't you? It's that dusty book that is sitting on your shelf of which you could not even decipher the spelling of the title).Perhaps I should ask if you can even read?! First I would like to apologize on behalf of the above dolts. With no understanding of basic grammar, punctuation, spelling, and self respect, these tools have the audacity to write reviews that are barely legible let alone helpfull. Nobody has the time or patience to read filth such as the above. You people make me want to vomit. That second review; WOW! Now that made alot of sense. Not once when reading it did I detect a hint of intellectual stability. Maybe you should stop crying about people commenting that the Sony Playstation 2 is better than the X-Box, and go attend a third level english class. This review is not for the X-Box itself as the above ass-hats thought it should be. This review is for the listed X-Box Bundle. As advertised, and i quote; "Xbox Bundle Pak(another spelling mistake!) with 2 Free Games: Sega GT 2002 and JSRF." As you can plainly see this bundle includes two games. The above reviews, which is a stretch saying that, said nothing about these two games. I may be wrong, having lowered my IQ massively by reading that dribble, and they might have mentioned them. ps2 is the queen of gaming
xbox is way better than ps2 because it has so much games and the xbox live feuture kiks mager @$$ . xbox also just bought the company rare from gamcube who made tittles like:conkers bfd and perfect dark . they are all coming out for xbox and sony will be out of buisness , xbox has all the power and nothing can stop it. this the best console you will ever buy dont listen to those fools saying ps2 is better cause there just jealous

The Master Comparision
Hey, for all you gamers out there, I know it's hard to pick between a PS2 and a Xbox.
I'm not one to judge, so I guess you could
trust me (having spent many hours on both during vacation).

Firstly- PS2
-Has, obviously, many more games than Xbox.
-Many resources online or elseware for repair or questions.
-Basically everyone has one, never buy games again.
-Built in DVD player (this may appeal to many!).
-Good controller (good for people with small hands).
-Good games and plenty of them!

Secondly- Xbox
-Superior specs: about 2.5 times faster processor, 8 gig hd.
-Graphics are superior in some fields (particles, some clarity).
-This one is disputable: controller (it is, yes, bigger, and, yes, bulky, but good for big hands).
-Stability (it just looks like plutonium or something, just kidding).

So basically I summed up the basic gamer's facts.In doing so, I like the Xbox better, but as I said, it is purely a matter of choice.The PS2 excels at game quality and quanity (Squaresoft, if you're reading this, make Final Fantasy games for Xbox!!).Xbox has superior graphics and specifications.If you like simplicity and power, with plenty of variety and to-die-for quality games, the PS2 could help you.If you like die-hard ability, and some pretty good games, the Xbox might fit you.
After all, it is only a game . . .

Fantastic... but there is another
This pad is excellent, no mistake there. I have played on everything from the cheap pads that you find on eBay to an Ignition 2.0 pad to this. It's much better than the 2.0, but some people will be put off by its price. It has good durability and supports heavier players than a normal pad.

However, there is a better one. Cobalt Flux makes one product and one product alone, a supreme metal pad that goes for 300. If you are serious about DDR, then there is no other than the Colbalt.

I have used both and seen what happens to both pads over time, and there are replaceable parts that cobalt has, but it seems that the redoctane metal pad just doesn't have the longevity and quality components that cobalt has.

I do not trust this...
I wouldn't purchase this product. I have found the same dance pad on www.GameAsylum.com for more than $100 dollars less. And on www.GameAsylum.com thay are brand new, never opened. Why buy a used dance pad for $299 when you can get it brand new for $159?

Worth the cash if you like DDR
They aren't kiddin when they say this thing is reliable and accurate.It's $200 bucks, but it will out perform a lot of 300 dollar models.Don't expect to be buying 8th mix quality pads, but this thing feels better than the 6th and 7th mix pads to me.Works great on carpet (much much better than soft pads) and a must if you want to play the heavier songs at home.It's lasted through Max 300 and I'm sure it will last through whatever you put it through.I would definitely suggest this product! ... It is not as durable as the normal controllers
If you buy one of these it will break too soon, sure it looks cool but you shuld trust me and just buy the normal X-box brand of controllers!
