5-0 out of 5 stars If you thougt Vice City was awsom.GTA is just Beginning!
Man, I dont see how GTA can get any better.Unlike the previous GTA Games,This one you have stats.Such as Fat,Stamina,Sex Appeal,Muscle,Hunger,And lots more.Just one Island is bigger than all of Vice City. Each island represents a popular city, and they are,Los Angelas,San Francisco, and Las Vegas. You can even bye drinks, play arcade games, even Bet on Casino games.Like on Vice City, The aircraft only go up to like 50 feat. Here they go up to like 1500 feat.Oh and did I mention you can swim. This is defiently the Best GTA Game ever.Get it.Its worth every penny.(Caution:Not for kids under age 17)

4-0 out of 5 stars Greatest game I've played
I rented this game for 1 week. The 2- player part is hard to find but it is worth it. In 2- player mode you can shoot people and the cops will chase you. (OBVIOUSLY) And the money you get from 2- player you can keep. The 1 player mode roxxx!!! you can costumize Carl and you can beat up other gang members ND jack their guns and money. Overall I give this game a 4.5!

5-0 out of 5 stars The games price won't lower which is telling you it's a good
The game is great one thing that bothers me is the control it's no more directional buttons but analog which makes it harder to control, but other wise then that the game is long and great and is worth buying oh yeah Not for children.

    5-0 out of 5 stars gta:San andreas
the best game ever made keep it up rockstar please keep carl jonson.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great game.
CJ ran away from home after his brother died, but now its time to go back. His mother was shot in a drive-by that was intended to kill his other brother, Sweet, and he has to go back to bury her. But he ends up staying longer then that.

The gang Sweet is the leader of is called Grove Street Families, but since CJ left the gang has gone from ruling the town to just another gang no one really cares about. There's a huge crack problem thats made everyone completely change into different people, and now that CJ's back, Sweet needs his help to get Grove Street back on track.

There are other things besides the main storyline, like all GTA games. One new feature is that you can buy clothes from different stores (that you unlock as you progress through the game) and mix and match. Your clothes determine how much respect you get from gang members, and how many compliments you get from people on the street.

The clothes that raise your "sex appeal" the most, halfway, are the "special" outfits, that you can only get through missions or... dating. Yes, that's right, dating. If you get your relationship to 100% with certain women, they'll give you outfits.

There are a few downsides, nothing that affect the overall gameplay. Blocky hands, wierd movements when talking, driving controlls suck, things like those that don't affect you. Other then that, I recommend this game to any fans of GTA or rockstar games, and anyone who's mature enough to handle it. ... Read more

This is the best game i have ever played...i use to play tokyo extreme racing zero but i got bored of it within a couple days of buying it so i never got to finish it.i love this midnight club dub edition so much i can't stop playing it...i'm a girl and i already got up to 65 percent within one week... i go to school full time and work full time so that tells you how much dedication i have in this game.i love the fact that it has the slow motion for you to use when you know ur gonna hit the wall so it helps you steer...i also like the cars that they provide in here because its so realistic and its the cars you wishyou can have but since you can't in real life you have it at home on ur game! its the GREATTTTTTTTTTTEST!!!!!! yu will not regret buying it i promise yu that

5-0 out of 5 stars one word...
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the best game ever!!!!!! It's so fun to run into innocent people's cars. If you buy it and don't like it you belong in a mental innstitute. I swear, you will not be dissapointed.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME
This game is excellent as soon as you put it in. You can customize so much stuff on your car it makes you think if you're really customizing a car. The controls are perfect and there is so many cars and bikes to rise it will keep you playing for hours to unlock them all. If you want a simulation buy Gran Turismo 4if you want the best racer ever buy Midnight Club 3.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game!
This game is an all around awesome game! However, the question will always be asked, "is it better than NFSU2?". I own both games and have no clearcut favorite. Although I do find myself slightly gravitating towards Midnight Club 3. The only reason I say that is I think that it does a much better job simulating the street racing lifestyle. When you look at the car details and game backgrounds, Midnight Club 3 is by far the winner. I think that NFSU2's graphic's are slightly cartoony. I think Midnight Club 3 just has more style in it's customization. NFSU2 is all about getting your car a "10" visual rating, where as in Midnight Club 3 you can pick parts that you think really complete the look of your car. And you don't HAVE to use that ugly carbon fiber. However I leave the decision compleatly up to you. It's a matter of personal prefrence, and they are both great games!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars This game is TIGHT!
It's like Pimp My ride and The Fast and the Furious in one. You can customize yur own car and evrything. when its snowing in detroit you can do donuts and when you customize your car, hydrolics are the first thing to buy. if you put on the no damage cheat - ontheroad - you can crash into as many things as you want, and your car wont even get dirt on it. its really annoying and fun when your in the middle of a race and a cop is right on yur tail. I just rented it but i know im gonna buy it. you will not waste your money on this game, its worth every penny. And the soundtrack is the best. its got 50 cent, twista, petey pablo. but it also has really stupid disco songs too, but this is the funnest racing game ive ever played. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars It's racing without the ridges
This is the first game I bought for the PSP and it's a great one. It really shows off the power of the system, the sound is incredible, the graphics jaw dropping, and it's immensely playable.

One minor gripe though is that the basic tour is waaaaaay too easy. Your car easily outpaces anything else on the track and finishing in first place, a mile up the road from the competition in all 30-odd races is no problem at all. Knowing you're going to win every race and spending every lap out in front on your own gets a bit tedious. The Pro section is a bit better however - although could still be a bit harder to get that podium finish! The controls are nicely customisable and intuitive and the cars have suitably different handling characteristics to make the game challenging.

But overall a great PSP game - really playable and a huge 'wow' factor from all my mates - well impressed ;-)

5-0 out of 5 stars An amazing racer for the psp
For a launch title, Ridge Racer is an amazing game. It really shows off the great graphics on the PSP and the gameplay is great as well. Everything is near perfect on here. The graphics, sound, and controls are all outstanding although if you don't like arcade style racers you may want to avoid this or give it a rental. The game's use of power sliding works well and is fun although the game seems to be a bit easier because of it. Since the game require more streaming off the disk, the battery is life is shorter although I really don't mind it at all. Anyway, if you want a racing game for the PSP, one of the best is already out there waiting for you to pick it up.

4-0 out of 5 stars when in doubt, just keep drifting
the problem of this game is this.. simply by deliberately drifting the car, you can avoid hitting the boundary, hence the reduction of speed.. although drifting too recklessly could slow you down.. but a well managed but a bit aimless drifting can help avoiding penalty.. and put your car back onto the right direction and track...which i think is a flaw... this makes the game a bit easlier to finish.. and a bit routine

5-0 out of 5 stars Ridge Racer.......
Think of this Ridge Racer as a 'best-of' collectionthat has all the best bits of the ten-year long previous Ridge games and you pretty much got the idea of what this Ridge Racer holds in store. It boasts the largest selection of tracks in any previous version(24, to be exact), with a selection of 58 different cars, as well as upgrades for your cars. It's possibly the biggest and best Ridge Racer to date. Add to that, 8 player head to head competition(something that no other racer has, right now, except for Wipeout Pure) which can get really intense- at times-...let me tell you.Speed and control are dead-on, which is important with this type of racer. The graphics...well,...let's just say are simply amazing. Some of the best I've seen on the PSP so far. It's one of those games that shows the PSPs' graphical prowess. It's much sharper and realistic looking than the version of Ridge Racer for the Nintendo DS(which, in my opinion, looked downright horrendous). It's the second racer I've got for my collection(Need for Speed Underground Rivals being the first)of PSP games and is another that has kept me addicted playing for weeks on end.
If you're a Ridge Racer fan that wants to take a drive down Memory Lane for some all-out racing fun, this game is definitely for you.If, however, you're not big on the series...this game won't do much to change your mind about it.
I'll admit, I'm not much of a Ridge Racer fan myself but this game has been a blast to play. I love it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fourth best racer on PSP
This game has PS2 graphics and decent steering. This game is obviously better than the DS port it is lacking a realistic game play.It is too much of an arcade game, and I don't mean like a street racer, I mean like a game where you put in the 50 cents and drive. Also, like the other RRs, the cars are bunched up in small groups which you easily pass in half a lap so most of the time you are just driving around alone. The commentary is horrible.I bet Evenderr Hollyfield now wants Mike Tyson to bite off his other ear off too after listening to the commentary of the game. This game is ok but with the other good PSP games this might be one you want to pass. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A Great Game
This is such a great game! Although when you play the Season Mode, in the beginnning it is quite difficult. But if you play Free Mode, and pick an SS horse, which is basically an A++++ horse in our language, you'll get a better place number after the finish. You see, the meaning of the game is "Horse-Racing." It is not like Gallop Racer 2003 - A New Breed; therefore you get a trainer, and you have to ridethe horses he/she are training. I recommend this game to any Action/Racing fan.

5-0 out of 5 stars For horse lovers
O...wow. This is the best horse game I have ever played! I can't imagine a horse racing lover not adoring this game. There's so much you can do - so many races you can ride in - and I don't think there's a time limit to the amount of years that you're a jockey! I like how you can progress to riding better horses as you get better. It sounds really obvious that you should be able to do that, but some games don't let you. Some horses have really cool abilities you can use to help win races, like Strong Heart. That's my favorite. You can also breed horses, which I haven't done yet, but I'm positive it'll be great! If you love horses and especially horse racing, BUY THIS GAME!

5-0 out of 5 stars Addicting!!
I could not stop playing this game when I first got it!! It has great graphics, and when you're in the pack while racing, you can actually feel the horses hooves poubding on the ground. If you don't like racing however, this game might bore you. You can breed your champion horses also! Great game!

5-0 out of 5 stars Gallop Racer 2004-AWESOME!!
All of the Gallop Racer games are FANTASTIC!! You get the full feel of the whole racing thing in this game. You ca, buy, and even breed horses, you bet, build your own course, better effects than even '03's. It is SO addictive!! You start playing; you can't stop!! I'm rank SS in both of the and have top notch horses. But even when you get this far you STILL don't win EVERY race. WAY more challenging than car races. (Yes I am a girl, and 12 if you want to know.) That's why I rank it-*****!!

4-0 out of 5 stars This Game is Great!!!
GR2003 is my favorite game. I'm expecting even more fun from 2004. The last game was (and still is) very addictive. Once I start playing it, I can't stop! I was surprised that I did not win every horse race like I do car games. But as I got used to the strategy of when I speed up the horse and slow it down, I started winning. I love to bet on the horses. It's like there are real horse races in my living room!! I'm a top-rank 11 year old jockey, and plan the same for the next game. I'm expecting to get this game for my birthday, then I'll be a top-rank 12 year old jockey!!:-) ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This is GREAT!
This game is the best ever!!! It's sooo much fun you wouldnt believe it! At first you might think that you will do bad because you don't think you're a good singer, but it's fun no matter what! You will love this wheather you are a child or an adult. You could play this game for hours!!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Incredibly fun alone or with friends
If you laugh at karaoke, you really need to give this a try! Not only it is amazingly fun - you can even sing duets with your friends!

We have Karaoke on the XBox and love the graphics and ability to download new songs. On the PS2, There is Karaoke 1 and Karaoke 2 which have that same song selection and venue set. With Karaoke 3, they bring in the brand new ability to sing duets.

First, the normal gameplay. You get a full new set of locations - from a garage with cars outside, to an incredibly fun music video set, to a classic 'rooftop' scene a la the Beatles.

You get a new batch of songs, and like all song sets, they are "reproduced" by professional singers. This means that sometimes they sound almost exactly the same - and sometimes there are differences that drive fans completely insane. It really depends on which particular song you enjoy and how fanatical you are about the accuracy.

There's a good selection though, from Oops .. I Did It Again to Under Pressure, from Ain't No Mountain High Enough to Respect. I have to admit, though, that there weren't any true Lisa Favorites in here. With my XBox karaoke, there are a bunch of songs that I'd gladly sing over and over again because I love them. There are 2 or 3 songs in here that I enjoy a lot, but nothing of the same level. I suppose it's always hard to choose a group of songs that appeal to a wide audience.

I suppose in a way I've been spoiled by the XBox download ability. I can just go online and grab more songs if I want with the XBox. With the PS2, I'm sort of stuck.

Once you get through the main gameplay, you automatically unlock all the original locations, which is great. The graphics are really pretty impressive, with the fans reacting immediately to your good and bad behavior. There is also a HUGE collection of characters to choose from now, from one-legged pirates to opera singers, from Indian girls to Meatloaf-looking guys. That is really something great.

Of course the main reason to get Karaoke 3 is the duets, and they are a TON of fun. You need 2 mics of course, and someone to sing with. Then each of you gets your own progress bar, one on the top, one on the bottom. There are only a handful of duet songs in here - from I Got You Babe to You're the One that I Want, from Shining Star to ABC. I like California Dreamin' myself, and it is actually a challenge to keep those harmonies going. But it's great fun!

Definitely an incredibly fun way to build up your singing skills, your tone and pitch and ability to hold notes for the proper length. An incredibly fun party game too, since just about every human sings along with songs they love, even if they won't admit to it. My only real complaint with this PS2 version is that you can't download new songs. You would think since the PS2 *is* able to go online that they'd give you some way to do it. Maybe we'll have to wait for the next generation Sony console before it catches up in this sense.

Bonus - watch the 'making of' video - they have the Badgers Badgers video running in the background on the laptop!

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST VIDEO GAME OF ITS KIND
I think this game is one of the best I've ever played. I love the song selections on it and I love all the different challenges. My friend and I play this for hours! Its really good for parties too (Birthdays, get togethers, etc.) :) I highly recommend this product!!!!!!! :) :) :)

5-0 out of 5 stars Haven't been able to use 2 headsets
I bought the first Karaoke game for my nieces for Christmas. We opened it early before they had to go home "to try it out". My sister and I fell in love with the game and had to go out and buy KR2 and KR3 and two lochitech headsets right away. I have not been able to use KR3 with the 2 headsets. The game locks up at the start. If we keep hitting the reset button, we can sometimes put in all of our information and then it locks up while the song is downloading. I tried the game using just one headset and it works just fine, but then I don't get to use all of the new features, like the duets or the sing offs. I haven't had any luck so far in trouble shooting this problem. I have switched headsets and I know they both work by themselves.

5-0 out of 5 stars Our Favorite Playstation 2 Game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All of the songs on Volume 3 are kid-friendly.That is a huge plus and, in my opinion, the first of 3 volumes with this feature. One thing that is really fun about this game is that we play with our 9 and 11-year-old, and we are in our early 30s. This game gives us the opportunity to get to know songs that we wouldn't normally know. For example, I listened to "Beat It" when I was 9 years old, and now our 9-year-old son can enjoy it.

The songs were recorded as close to the sound that the original artists made as possible, and they did a great job with that. The vocals to "I Got You Babe," "New York New York," and "Twist and Shout" didn't really sound like the original artists but who cares. We were singing over their voices.

The songs to choose from for karaoke competition are as follows:
(All songs below are "originally by" the artists in parenthesis):

    1) ABC (Jackson 5)
    2) Ain't No Mountain High Enough (The Temptations)
    3) Beat It (Michael Jackson)
    4) Burn (Usher)
    5) Careless Whisper (Wham!)
    6) Don't You Forget About Me (Simple Minds)
    7) I Got You Babe (Sonny and Cher)
    8) If I Ain't Got You (Alicia Keys)
    9) Leave Get Out (JoJo)
    10) Love Shack (B52s)
    11) Meant To Live (Switchfoot)
    12) My Immortal (Evanescence)
    13) New York New York (Frank Sinatra)
    14) Oops I Did It Again (Britney Spears)
    15) Respect (Aretha Franklin)
    16) Take My Breath Away (Berlin)
    17) The Reason (Hoobastank)
    18) Twist & Shout (The Beatles)
    19) Unchained Melody (The Righteous Brothers)
    20) Under Pressure (David Bowie)
Those songs were listed on the box. These songs are also there:
    21) Against All Odds (Phil Collins)
    22) California Dreamin (Mamas & Papas or the Beach Boys)
    23) China Grove (Doobie Brothers)
    24) Come Clean (Hillary Duff)
    25) Flashdance What A Feeling (Irene Cara)
    26) Hold On (Good Charlotte)
    27) Joy To The World (Three Dog Night)
    28) Killing Me Softly (by Luther Vandross but performed by a female--The Fugees? Roberta Black?)
    29) Shining Star (Earth, Wind, and Fire)
    30) Someday (Nickelback)
    31) Thank You (Jamelia)
    32) When I'm Gone (3 Doors Down)
    33) Why Can't I (Liz Phair)
    34) You're the One That I Want (from the Grease soundtrack)

Sometimes we let our 9-year-old be on the Easy level, and that helps him to do just as well as we do."Adjustable difficulty levels ensures that anyone can be a karaoke star," it says on the back of the box.And it's true.

Volume 3 has the option of singing a few songs as a duet. My husband and I would make the effort and go get another microphone, but the songs don't seem all that great, and the karaoke is satisfyingly entertaining already.

Volume 3 has a new hairstyle for one character, Dwayne. It's my husband's favorite. We call him the Mullet Man.And the facial expressions that the character makes is HILARIOUS while he sings! He's hilariously serious and all into the music.

OK one last thing I wanted to add.The microphone that can come with Volume 3 works just fine. It's durable (we've thrown it and stomped on it by accident a few times) and it works well.We don't have Volume 1 yet but I think that the microphone doesn't work with it, and instead you have to get a special headset.I will let you all know in a review about that as soon as possible.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful!
As someone who doesn't feel comfortable enough working out around other people, this program is *perfect* for me. I love how I'm able to customize practically everything so it's tailored just for me. I'm down 13 pounds so far and I'm actually enjoying my daily workout routine, something I haven't been able to say in a long time.

If I could change anything, it would be this:

-Less downtime, Maya sometimes takes a good 5 - 15 seconds to 'find the beat' to get back into routine if I had to pause the program.
-The ability to increase/decrease the difficulty of a single exercise. When Maya asks how I did at the end of a section - where half the exercises were too hard and half were too easy - what do I say? I would like the ability to give a thumbs down to a specific exercise, basically saying dump that but keep everything else.

Over all, this is the best PS2 purchase I've made in a long time.

5-0 out of 5 stars Varied exercises - with some sloppy programming
This is a useful and fun way to exercise, but it does have some problems (asking you to use equipment you don't own, bad load times). I use it three times a week and would buy it again.

    Pros:
    - Measures your flexibility, upper body strength, lower body strength, core strength, and aerobic capacity to match the workout level to your body.
    - You can adjust the workout level for each category (flexibility, upper body strength, lower body strength, etc)
    - You see exercises being done so it helps with your form
    - Tutorials on each move
    - The workout has breaks, but they aren't too long or too short, usually.
    - You open up new areas and music by sticking to the exercise program.
    - Exercises chosen based on what equipment you have (step, dumbells, ball, or heart monitor)
    - There's a Yoga section for Yoga fun. It gives you about 15 minutes of Yoga at a time.
    - It has numerous meal plans based on how many calories you want to eat a day.
    - The variety of exercises is good, but not great.
    - Most of the exercises will work for woman and men, even though they are geared toward woman

    Cons:
    - The music is boring, and I doubt you will recognize any of it.
    - Sometimes she has you use a piece of equipment she knows you don't own! Example, she tells me to use a ball of free weights to exercise my biceps, even though I don't own a ball and she knows it!
    - The load times are disgustingly bad. If it changes songs during an exercise, then the game will come to a stop for several seconds. Then the woman will do one rep at an incredible speed you can't reproduce, then she will slow down to the regular speed.
    - The exercises are clearly geared toward women. She sometimes has me do bicep curls without weights for about a minute. I would get more exercise drinking a pint of beer. I'm not even sure many women would get anything out of this exercise.
    - Some of the stuff the woman says doesn't make sense. Example, "Get in your body." I wonder where she thought I was.
    - Sometimes there isn't enough variety to the exercise. It seems like she only has two or three exercises for each muscle group at a given intensity level. If you don't progress to the next level, you will see that exercise again. And again. And again. Realistically, you can expect to see some of the same exercises in every workout for at least a month.

5-0 out of 5 stars ...One order of crow, please...
I first saw this "game" in the console section of a store around the time I began considering that I needed to work out more. At the time, I actually laughed at it. I just couldn't believe that something like exercising to a game console was going to be any better than a video: What a waste of technology. I mean, exercise routines are all the same, right? Dull. Boring. Repetitive. Gimmicky. Painful in all the wrong ways. So, this had to be the same, right? What was this thing going to do that I couldn't get anywhere else?-besides a pixilated workout character who may not be all she's cracked up to be?

Well, after spending about another week passing up the usual exercise tapes and swallowing my pride to purchase this, I have had my question answered; and have been eating my words daily for the past two weeks.

Y!F is really almost addictive: The level of personalization and interaction in the game is really great for someone who is tired of being spoken at by a pre-recorded person on video. The workouts are very fun (and pretty painful, if you're not used to doing them--but in a good way!) and versatile. The extras (earning new music and backdrops; using extra equipment; meal plans; personal fitness tracking; fitness goal setting/customization; scheduling; etc.) really help you to get along to whatever fitness goals you may have, as well. Most of the exercises are easily adjusted for higher or lower impact depending on our ability...and of course, if you already do great on floor exercises, try it with the equipment and increase the difficulty and exercise time. You simply can't loose.

Maya, the personal trainer character is also very encouraging yet down to earth, which is great for someone like me, who usually equates exercise with annoying bouncy, bubbly video queens in pink spandex and legwarmers yelling at me to "Feel the BURN! Woooot!". In comparison to those types, Maya is much more realistic. The animation for her is pretty good during the workout sessions. If you pause, she will stretch, and walk around while waiting- she is never really still. Nor robotic, just like an actual person.

I like the fact that every day I log in to work out, I'm greeted and acknowledged. (and when I skip days that I've scheduled, that I'm acknowledged in having done that, too: commitment is good.) I have the option of choosing what kind of workout I would like to do, and then have the workout adjusted for me depending on my mood (which can be all over the place, and effecting most of what I do, especially things like working out) and how easy/difficult the workouts actually are once we get started. You can also adjust the time that you spend working out, which is good for those days when you don't have but 15 minutes, or when you think you could go for 1 hour or more.

Personally, my favorite part of this 'game' is the Meditation Garden. In this feature, you get about 15-20 minutes or so of yoga, also dynamically performed, like the rest of the workouts. The yoga is very useful for muscle aches from the regular workouts, and helps me to ease my pre-existing body pain. I would suggest that if you get this product, to use this feature at least once every other day. It's very enjoyable all on it own.

--and after two weeks of faithful application, I have been noticing marked improvements. I'm glad I got this instead of opting for another bland workout tape, or simply walking in the park once a week. It wouldn't have worked out for me at all. I've been down that road and back, many times in the past.

Y!F Has really helped me to enjoy exercising. I'm not perfect about it, but at least I feel like it's something I can do and enjoy for the challenge; and not something I'm doing in order to torture myself for the eventual, far off benefits. There are benefits, now, even this short into my long term goal of loosing weight.

I highly suggest this to folks who need to get out and move more, and/or to folks who are tired of the same old boring notion of exercise tapes. If you haven't seen the light, yet, you probably will begin to after giving this a try. Don't knock it till you've tried it.

    5 stars, hands down.

4-0 out of 5 stars Totally worth your time & money.
Okay, so I'm a bachelor with no kids who could stand to be in better shape, so I figure what the hell, let's try this thing out.Quite honestly, this is one of the best things I've bought in a long time, and for about $35, it's a really good deal.

In about two weeks, I've noticed some big improvements.I look better, I feel better, and I have more energy than I've had in a long time. What's really cool is the fact that I actually look forward to exercising with Maya.

The creators took great care to make Maya fun & accessible to as many people as possible, and I think they did a good job. She's pretty without looking too perfect, she's intelligent without sounding like a know it all, and she even has a bit of a sense of humor. The writers and voice-actress did a very good job of giving her personality.I find myself awaiting to tell her how I'm feeling, or what I want to work on for the day, and when she tells me how good I'm doing, I actually feel pretty proud of myself.Yes, I know it's just the computer program crunching the data I'm feeding into it, that she's not "real", but the illusion of working out with someone who is a pleasant trainer is really effective. It's basically gotten to the point to where I say I'm going to work out with Maya, instead of saying I'm going to put in the Yourself Fitness game.

All in all, I really needed something like this to help me out.I wasn't really disciplined enough to workout consistently by myself, nor did I know all the styles and methods to use to workout all the various muscles in my body properly.I really feel like I'm finally becoming the physically fit man I've always wanted to be, and for only about thirty bucks!I'm happy I bought this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Yourself Fitness is a fantastic program for health!
From the minute I met Maya, my new personal trainer I was hooked. Maya is a virtual fitness "person" who will help you meet your fitness goals.

The program begins with Maya greeting you and giving you a fitness assessment. Here you will input your height, weight and activity level and you will do a series of exercises; crunches, sit-ups, push-ups, and jumping jacks. Then you check your heart rate and input the information. Based on your level of fitness Maya will recommend an exercise program for you. She will tell you what you need to do and how many days a week you need to do it, to help you achieve your goals.

Maya will give you a selection of spaces to exercise in and ask what equipment you have. If you own a stepper, stability ball, weights and heart rate monitor, she will incorporate these into the workout. I would highly recommend adding all the equipment - especially the weights and heart rate monitor as these can really help you achieve your fitness goals.

After selecting your space (different virtual rooms with a different feel to each one) Maya begins your personalized program. During the workout she will ask you how you are feeling or you can at any time increase or decrease the intensity of the workout. At the bottom of the screen a scroll tells you what is coming up next in the workout ie squats, sidesteps, a stepper etc. You can also change the music selection - over 70 songs are available including hip hop, latin and 80's. The bottom also counts down the time of your workout - a fabulous feature.

Over time as you exercise, you will "unlock" treats from Maya like new workout spaces. Because she has so many "moves" your execise time with Maya will vary from one day to the next and keep your interest.

Maya also will hold you accountable. If you miss a day she will ask (nicely) where you were. As you exercise she will encourage you. Maya's voice is a beautiful, easy to listen to voice and you can lower or raise the volume of her voice and/or the music.
Maya herself is a buff looking brunette, it would have been nice if one could personalize their trainer's looks, and I will bet that's not to far down the road!

Maya also has a peaceful room where she will lead you in a nice yoga interlude. As you progress through the program Maya will help you adjust your goals and set new ones.

She will also set meal plans for you if desired.

I have to admit Maya has amazed me, besides kicking my booty in our exercise sessions. And the price point of $35 is so reasonable. Others love it too and there is an online community at www.yourselffitness.com devoted to discussions on this program.

    Highly recommended!

UPDATE: I had a question about the program and was very pleased with the Yourself!Fitness representative Caroline's fast response and helpfulness. Double delight - a great program with super customer service!

4-0 out of 5 stars Comparison to AC04
    Better;

    * Excellent graphics, particularly the aircraft models, weather effects and cutscenes.
    * The same great gameplay as AC04 with some nice tweaks (e.g. enemy stealth planes are actually harder to detect).
    * Lots of missions with a choice of paths through the game (though not as many as AC3), plus refuelings and carrier landings.
    * Well written and absorbing plot.
    * Numerous and varied aircraft and special weapons, including a fun new super plane and a kill-based 'evolution' system for unlocking improved variants of planes.
    * Greatly improved arcade mode, again with a choice of paths, making for a nice half-hour blast.

    Worse;

    * Ropey mission design. Targets constantly pop up out of nowhere and you get teleported around the map after every cutscene. The action feels more scripted and less like you're flying around a real battle. This is reinforced by the fact that while the target areas are highly detailed, the rest of the maps are quite empty.
    * Some of the missions feel like pale shadows of AC04 missions.
    * The dialogue is often whiney, unprofessional or just annoying, and often gets out of sync with the action.
    * The stats on the aircraft seem to be made up at random, and don't have that much affect on gameplay anyway. The missions aren't designed to make best use of the available weapons, and hence players will never use most of the basic planes and will have little incentive to unlock most of the improved variants. The loss of selectable secondary weapons is a shame.
    * Rare but highly annoying bugs; planes fly underground and through buildings, missiles sometimes mysteriously fail to track.
    * For the most part the difficulty curve is smooth if a little too easy (even on ace difficulty), but there are a couple of missions that are just unnecessarily frustrating (White Noise and Four Horsemen).
    * The two player mode and target shooting range have been removed.

    Missed opportunities;

    * Fewer targets and no re-arming, making things less frantic. This is a shame as there are some missions where landing and rearm without leaving the battlefield would've worked well.
    * The medal gallery is nice, but more unlockables (e.g. rendered beauty shots of aircraft) would have provided more motivation to get those special rankings.
    * Giving wingmen orders is fun, but they don't seem to do much or need your protection. Similarly the interactive dialogue could've been cool, but doesn't actually seem to do anything and is hence just distracting.
    * No bombers, choppers or VTOL aircraft, to fly or give orders to.
    * Music is generally great, but the score for the final missions don't quite have that spine tingling thrill that AC04 had.

Ace Combat 5 is great fun and a high quality title in its own right. However while the graphical tweaks and new features are appreciated, it isn't a major advance over AC04, and the niggling problems prevent it from delivering the same outstanding all-round experience that Shattered Skies provided.

2-0 out of 5 stars Ace Combat 5
Flight action game from Namco that lets players take part in air battles between the two superpowers Osea and Yuktobania. After attempting intercept of an unidentified aircraft, most of the 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron was destroyed. As the base scrambles its defenses and goes on red alert, you and your fellow elite fighter pilots are called up to protect your home nation of Osea. Take flight in the 5th installment of Namco's landmark air combat series, featuring ultra-realistic graphics, over 50 licensed aircraft and the all-new Wingman Command. Issue orders and coordinate group attacks. Your split-second decisions determine mission success or failure. The intriguing story spans over 30 missions and showcases exquisitely detailed environments, real-time weather effects and dynamic lighting. Features multiple game modes and loads of unlockable content for hours of additional flying excitement.

Despite it not being the most revolutionary step forward for the series, is Unsung War any good? Absolutely! Ace Combat 5 is a marvelously done, tight, invigorating experience with few shortcomings but no real problems that destroy the universe.

If you're looking for the best console flight action game in town, you'll not need to look past Ace Combat 5. Fans of the series, owners of Shattered Skies, and newcomers alike will all take great pleasure from this one.

P.S. sorry ment to give this game an overall rating of five stars

5-0 out of 5 stars Ace Combat is still Top Gun among PS2 flight sims
Awesome graphics, awesome models, awesome game!I've been a fan of PC flight simulators, especially the Jane's series for a very long time and never thought a decent flight sim could be made for a console until the Ace Combat series came about.
AC5 is the best of the series to date, in my opinion. When first loading up the game, I was treated to a magnificent opening movie that told a wonderful story of what was turning into a bleak future for the world. The story set the stage for the campaign mode of the game, which has thus far been pure eye candy!
From 5,000 feet, the textures of the ground and water look almost real, and the way the shadows and light play off of the aircraft in 3rd Person flight mode and really beautiful. The only thing that could have been improved on where the explosion effects, which were not realistic looking for my taste.I expected to see fireballs and falling debris, but did not see any of that.Sinking ships during the naval battles would have been nice as well.
Being a Navy veteran, the game reminded me of combat drills where we would recieve briefings about fictional countries we were at war with and hand to protect ourselves against. The briefing and debriefing portions of the game brings back many fond memories for me and are as much joy to watch as it is a joy to play this game.
If you are a military aviation enthusiast and love flight sims, you have to have this game!

5-0 out of 5 stars Can't Believe How Good It Is!
As I played Ace Combat 4 and noticed all the Ace Combat 5 commercials, I thought to myself, "There is no way the Ace Combat series could get any better." I stood corrected. Even though I thought the fifth version wouldn't be as good, I asked for it for Christmas anyway with high hopes that it would be good. Of course, I got it, and I was taken for surprise at how good it was. The first levels are a bit boring, but I stuck with it, and now I've beat the game five times, and it's still not getting old. The graphics are a hundred times better than in Ace 4, and the storyline is also a lot better. It's also a lot more realistic in the sense that you are flying in a squad, and not on your own (even though the squad doesn't do that much to help your cause). I like how the jets turn black past a certain point, and the obstacles on many levels are just as hard, if not harder than the megalith on Ace 4. The one thing that I liked better on Ace Combat 4 is the freedom you get fighting on your own. It was super exciting to shoot down the whole yellow squadron on my own, but I also enjoy receiving all the compliments from my squadron on 5. Love it. Go get it.

5-0 out of 5 stars The series strikes again
Now, i've got to say this is the best series yet, i can't wait for 6 to come out. I have already beaten the 4th one and this comes along. The voice acting is ok, but hamilton and chopper are great. Edge (the asian girl) says "amazing" to much and on that escape level where we stole the trianing jets, they coplemented "Pops" too much. Anyway, this game is great, 30 missons, 50 planes to choose from, and i already beat this one. That satellite mission was hard, that thing was huge, so was the white bird mission. This game also has ne cg cut scenes (like sonic heroes). Also you were playing as the bad guy, you, your team and Pops wer spies of the yuktobonia air force, then you escape, go to the ship (which is still the kestrel) and on one briefing a missile hits and then it goes on red alert, when it does this you have to choose your planes quckly, they said any plane, i chose my F-22 planes. This game is fun and they just said over 30 missions but its acually 27 because i think 3 missions have some second missions in them. The graphics on this game are amazing, on the replay the computer planes don't fly good, its as if the ground was moving and they were just turning and spinning. The computer planes had this flight sequence. I also didn't like that dumb cerimonial flight, i was messin up on the whole thing because i didn't know what to do. But this game is great, so buy this game!!! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Speed On Again
Electronic Arts have really made a remakrable franchise based upon the well-received Need For Speed series. Since the mid 90's, this racing game series has been one of the most dominant and reality racing game series games of all time. They have honestly made it a huge stride in the world of cars. Yet, the while has been quite a braking effect awhile ago with the Need For Speed Underground series. It had a lackluster reaction than other versions like Hot Pursuit had undergone in the earlier years. Here is pretty much the same as before for racers alike from the earlier speed.

Need For Speed Underground 2, is the sequel to the adequate 2003 Underground. The game and its features are just similar as they were before. The game is set in one entire major city, similar to games like Midtwon Madness and the highly successful Midnight Club collection for the Playstation & Xbox. Yet, there are so many well driven and highly delightful cars that really go all out in their speed. The graphics are very well recognized, and the music reallly is full of hard core splice, just like the other Need For Speed games. The control also fares well, with each challenge including the Underground gameplay, and the free roaming race scene.

Still, there are a few disadvantages. One of them is that the game is mainly in one city throughout the numerous courses, other than different landscapes and locations like other Need For Speed games. The second disadvantage is that other than the newest array of automobiles to choose from and unlock, there really isn't much of a challenge for anybody who has mastered the earlier Underground game. Some may consider passing this one up.

All in all, Need For Speed Underground 2 fairs quite well as a racer, but not for all who want to really be fast & madly furious. I suggest you rent this racer, and see if the buzz is in the right court for you. Otherwise, stick with the original.

5-0 out of 5 stars Greatest Game Ever
This game is designed so you can change the most uncool car to an extreme car. It is almost like the show Pimp My Ride but extreme to make it race.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game!!!
nfsu2 was a really fun not complicated game.it has a really good storymode and the cars look better than ever!!!but it was a 4star becouse the game is short and when you beat the game it gets kinda boring.i recomend you do not play on easy mode!!!=) not the best game for a eaisly brused eigo too.

5-0 out of 5 stars NFS Rocks!
I love NFS! More cool music and eye-popping great graphics! And for sandra, music is optional, and none of this suggestive themes either. Fine for 6+. NFS is easy to get used to.

4-0 out of 5 stars its definatly a fun game
but theres just no sense of speed in this game thats pretty much its only con so what am i complaining about this game is a really good street roaming game you search for a shop or a race. you can choose races like street X drag drift sprint normal and the underground racing league.tricking out your car is the funnest your cars look so sweet, and theres so many different ways to customize your ride. overall it doesnt have the best graphics but the music and sounds are great.a great racing game. ... I love atv's and mx but putting them together is the best thing THQ has ever done and with online for my ps2 wooowie i love it 5 out of 5!

1-0 out of 5 stars not as i hoped
some years ago, when i was a boy, my pappy bought me a dirt bike. over the years, i have been adding parts to it and now it goes over 120 mph. in this game, you cant customize your ride, you cant tell if it is used or new, and finallaly, there are only three (3) environments to ride around. and when you crash, there isnt a bloody mess where the rider used to be. not a best buy.

5-0 out of 5 stars MX vs ATV UNLEASHED
THIS IS A GREAT GAME.THE GRAPHICS ARE AMAZING. THE SOUNDS REALLY SOUND LIKE REAL MOTORCYCLES. I SHOULD KNOW CAUSE I RIDE THEM. THIS IS A GREAT GAME FOR WHOEVER NEEDS SOME RACING WITHOUT GETTING A TICKET. THE ONLINE FETHURE IS GREAT. THE GAME HAS NEW RACE TYPES AND NEW MOTORCYCLES. THE TRACKS ARE GREAT AND LONGER. 4-0 out of 5 stars Addictive.......
Playboy The Mansion is a very good strategy game. Getting good content for your magazines proves to be a very deep and envolving task. Forget about the sexual content after about 30 minutes the topless women become secondary, and Yes there is sex but its with underwear on and its not sexy at all, its actually funny the first few times but also gets old. The unlockables are forgettable, who wants to see 1964 playmates, Damn where women ugly back then, look and you'll see at least compared to the couple of modern playmates you can unlock. however i found it fun to pump out issues trying to max out the market to get maximum exposure. The graphics are ok but you would have figured a game which focuses on hot women would have made them in a clearer and more pronounced way. The music once you buy a stereo or a dj station is good, you actually chose a type and it sounds really good. I was impresssed overall by this game and would reccommend it to adults only, and strategy game fans. i enjoyed this Sims type game.

5-0 out of 5 stars I am a chick who can't stand porno
My husband rented this game to tick me off one weekend. I played more than he did!! I can't explain why or how! If you like the SIMS you will love Playboy. . . don't ask why just buy!

4-0 out of 5 stars an addictiveness i can't quite explain
After playing for about an hour the game already seemed repetitious and i figured it would be a dusk colletor soon. But for some strange reason this game keeps me coming back for more, its not about the nudty in it cause that gets old quick and the graphics on the girls isn't even that great.I think its just addicting for me cause its a simplified sims game.See i was a sims fan but grew tired of having to feed my sim and sleep and then clean all the messes left on the floor. For me the sims was a little too much in detail to the point it got annoying. In this game you can control lives and run a business but you don't have to bother with that picking up litter all over the house and such. The game is monotonous like the sims but at least it left out the more annoying aspects of the sims games. This game does have some issues though,i find many times my player gets stuck and stops being able to respond to commands so i have to save the game often and when that happens i have to reload game from last save point. Also sometimes when you try to execute certain interactions with other people, the other people around yu can get in the way and if it takes to long for you to get into position to execute the action you attempted your sim gives up and forgets what it was setting out to do.I like to own games in every type of genre and since theres not much for home consoles in the adult games genre, this one isn't too bad as an only choice.its not as in depth as the sims but for the more casual gamer that doesn't want to have to deal with all the stuff the Sims games require this one may be more to your liking. Its one of those games that you will either be addicted to or hate it.I have always been into the oddball games like simcity, romance of three kingdoms, etc. The kind of games that the mainstream gamers don't bother with so maybe most people won't agree with me on this game or feel the same addictiveness i felt.I would have to say give it a rent and play the mission based game. For most people i think a rental will be enough for them just to check it out.

5-0 out of 5 stars You'll either love it or hate it.Kudos to the soundtrack!
Okay, let me start by saying that this is one of the most redundant, repetetive, slow-moving, and pointless games I have ever played in my entire life (and I used to play NES's Wall Street Kid!).Let me now say that this is also the most eerily addictive game I have ever played in my entire life.

Basically this game is a simplified twist on The Sims. You guide Hef around the Mansion in a screen setup that is almost identical to that of The Sims. You interact with people in your choice of "Causual", "Professional", or if it's a female "romantic" conversations, getting them to like you more in each category in order to get good content for your next issue of Playboy. You get staff members: Journalists for articles and interviews; photographers for centerfolds, cover shoots, and pictorials; Playmates to pose for centerfolds and later maybe do cover shoots, essays, and interviews if their interesting enough; and Bunnies, who basically just walk around in Bunny Outfits taking to people.

The further into the game you get, the higher the quality of staff and celebrities you can work with, thus the higher the quality of your subsequent issues.

Yes, there is nudity (T and A).Yes there is sex (but they keep their undies on and it's all kinda goofy). That's not what drives me on this game though. You really have to get good at multi-tasking in order to put out good issues. You throw parties at which you are expected to keep everybody happy while also schoozing with guests long enough to talk them into an interview, essay, or cover shoot.

Sounds kinda boring. It is.But like I said, despite how redundant this game is, I can't stop playing it.

In addition to the game, however, I would also like to ackowledge the soundtrack. You get several "stations" to choose from, each featuring a different genre. There's hip-hop (no thanks) Jazz (not bad) a few other interesting little choices, but the Rock one... whoa!I am a big fan of old-school rock. The amount of absolutely crappy new rock bands has made me give up on new rock radio altogether. Now I know why! There is some really great rock music on this game! All real bands (not just some commercial-playing group that did songs just for the game). Thanks to this game I have been introduced to about seven new rock bands that don't suck.Start Trouble, All-American Rejects, Silvertide, Tony C & The Truth, The Rosenbergs. All really good new Real rock music! Thanks to the designers of this game for finding a neat way to introduce people to these groups.Too bad I never get to hear any of them on the radio (Godsmack, Korn, Linkin Park...EEEeeeeewwwwww!)

5-0 out of 5 stars BECOME A VIRTUAL HEF WITH THIS FUN PLAYBOY SIM!!!
This is a fun game for people with an open mind and a sense of humor ( and it's NOT for kids ). It is essentially, THE SIMS with copious amounts of sex and nudity.

You play as a vitual Hugh Hefner. You must publish your magazine, hire writers, photographers. Do photo shoots for the cover and centerfold. Host wild parties. Buy stuff for your mansion like artwork, beds, chairs, video game machines ( you can play a pac-man like game ), pinball machines, stereos, tv's, etc. You also earn points for shooting good centerfolds and covers, etc, which can be used to buy real centerfolds and covers from PLAYBOY in the extra's menu. Need I say some of these photos are HOT? WOWWW!!!!

As I said, there is a great deal of sex ( in the bed, on the couch, in the shower, on the pinball machine )and nudity ( in the photo shoots and at the wild parties), so be warned. The game is rated M for MATURE players, 17 or older.

I have been having a great deal of fun with this game. Perhaps a bit too much fun, but.... it is something different from the usual video games which feature so much violence, which I find more distasteful than some sex and nudity. And some of the animation is quite funny at times, such as when your virtual self has sex with a woman on top of the pinball machine!

You have to go through various missions to un-lock certain items and new areas in the mansion. These missions can get a bit tedious and repetitive at times, but I find myself still playing it, trying to get to the end. Various famous people make guest appearences in the game from time to time: like baseball star and best-selling author, Jose Canseco; Tom Arnold; Carmen Electra, etc.

All in all, a fun game for those with an open mind looking for something different. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Future is NOW!!!
I just picked up Anti-Grav for the PS2/Eyetoy. Let me say that this title is an absolute must-buy for any fans of futuristic hover games (like WipeOut or Trickstyle) or if you like the Eyetoy. This is one of the most innovative games ever made for any system. Basically, you use your body to play the game. No controller at all. So you lean right to steer right, duck and jump in real life and the character mimicks your actions. It not only works as advertised, but is incredibly fun too. The experience is similar to that Sega skateboard game called Top Skater that was in the arcades a few years back. There have been many (unsuccessful) attemps to use alternate control schemes but have generally been bulky and not very response. This one actually works!

In terms of gameplay, you have a choice of at least 6 different characters, different boards/costumes, something like 5 levels and a whole bunch of tricks you can pull off. The graphics are good, nothing spectacular, but they work. The game is done by the same team that did Frequency so you can expect some trippy color trails and things like that. The sound track is fast and hard, lots of electronic, breakbeat infused metal, drum & bass, etc. Similar soundtrack to WipeOut. Just got the game today, so I can't say how long it is, but there seem to be extras and different modes to beat.

All in all, Anti-Grav is a welcome addition to my PS2 collection and I would recommend this game to any hardcore gamer looking for a more immersive experience. An hour on this game is actually a workout! I had to take a few breaks and managed to break a sweat! I wasn't too interested in the Eyetoy until I heard about this product. It truely utilizes the technology to do something innovative and it is well worth the $50 just to see for yourself what it is like.

4-0 out of 5 stars pretty fun game
Basically, if you want a game that gets you off your feet, this is the best thats out there. Its much better than EyeToy Play.Only drawback is that you need good lighting to play.

5-0 out of 5 stars for good and for awesome
This is a really awesome game.

The camera tracks your head and arms, causing the character on the screen to move his/her arms and lean and crouch and jump.
It is similar to the camera games found in museums but works much better because you can calibrate the camera to the correct height.

In order to play this game, you should be in a bright room (but not with the light behind you) and have good contrast against the wall. You may need a pair of red or brightly colored gloves or socks on your hands to help the camera track your arms and tell them apart from your head. If the lighting or contrast is not good your character may randomly wave its arms or jump when you put your hand up. Also you can not have anything moving behind you, and must have enough space behind the TV.

The game is about hoverboarding. There are four types of movement:
    1. Ground- you are on the ground and can pick up power-ups and fire your turbo
    2. Jump- you've gone off a ramp and can do tricks in the air to get points
    3. Rail- you stick to a rail, catch things with your arms that speed you up, and go under and over obstacles
    4. Flight- You fly through rings, probably the fastest way to travel

You can play as a race or to earn points, and you can unlock new levels after beating the newest one. Multiplayer is the same but taking turns and comparing scores.

It comes with an Eyetoy. If you want an Eyetoy I reccomend getting Antigrav.

Also you can get a decent workout out of this game.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Game - I want to buy it without the camera - HELP!
I already own the eye toy camera because it came with "Eye Toy Play".We had a chance to play Antigrav and it was a blast.I just want to buy the game but not the whole camera set again.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

1-0 out of 5 stars EyeTOY? I think not!
Eye Toy anti grav was possibly the worst game I have ever bought! There was some complete false advertising too. The commercials said you could walk around the house and outside and it would still follow you. It definitely doesnt do that! It does just about everything but that. It cahnns you out of 50 bucks it barely works without the right lighting, and can hardly follow your body movement. The first eyetoy and eye toy groove were much better, if you are looking for a good game buy one of those not eye toy anti grav. I sure wish i didn't ... Read more
