I want to send a Seal Team to wait in line while I return this. It would have made my Christmas better to be able to play the game. I just spent the morning weeping into my headset, but my Seal Team didn't even hear that.

It works...
It works properly, it doesn't mess up the graphics or sound, But it is a pain! it sort of makes a mess of the wires because they are on each side of the box, even in the front with the buttons. I also had to connect it to my RF modulator because it doesn't hook up to cable, so make sure that your TV takes AV cables in the back! mine does not!
But it sure is easier to just press a button ;)

Absolute Garbage
I got this for free when I brought my brother a PS2.This is without question, the biggest piece of junk I've seen in the past year.The remote is too small and the buttons are too cramped together.But worse, the buttons are arranged poorly, leaving the "OK" button in the most inconvenient of places.Not only that, but they are poorly labeled, with some ambiguous pictures.

This nullifies the whole point of using a remote in place of the controller.Oh, and did I mention that the minimum distance at which this remote works is about the same length of the controller cord?

The buttons do not work properly.It usually takes more than one button push before the infrared sensor picks up the command.No wonder they discontinued this garbage.I lost a lot of consumer confidence in Intec because of this.Oh well, I got what I paid for anyway.But nonetheless, this should be a stark lesson to anyone that when it comes to the PS2, only the Sony name brands should be considered, regardless of the extra cost.

Reality Vs. Imitations
When buying a remote control to go with your PS2, treat yourself to the real thing and not an imitation brand like this one. Otherwise, you might end up with something you didn't really expect, that of an extended time with only your PS2 controller to aid you and with an ulceration to name after your experience. I know, I've been there and I've played the stand-in game - and no, that isn't additional software for the system.

Testimonial: When I first decided to get a PS2, someone lovingly bought me one of these wonderfully blunderful pieces of technology, thinking it would be just as good as the real thing. Well, after opening it on Christmas and haing it stamp "defective" on the event, I initially stood with my good friend in after Christmas lines and returned the beast. Later, I was horrified to find that the second one also didn't work as well and I would be forced to return it yet again, standing yet again because I didn't buy this equipment online. Well, I repeated this cycle, finally upgrading to the real thing, and I've never had a problem again.

Point: While not having a remote isn't a horrible thing because you can use your controller for viewing DVDs, it is a bit of a bother because you only have one speed for fast forwarding and several other options simply aren't available to you. Still, when buying something inferior, its like still standing at square one. It goes back to the old saying, "you get what you (or someone else you know that has to stand in line with youjust after Christmas) pay for."

Get the official PS2 remote
I got this remote free when I bought my PS2. It didn't work. I thought it was the batteries, changed them several times but still no luck. My boyfriend finally got it to work but he had to sit right in front of the PS2 to do it. I thought the whole point of a remote was so you can sit back on the couch.

This remote works like all other remotes. It dosnt have enough buttons though. Dont belive n e thing that Mr. Frankenstine says cuase he probally made up the name. so if thats true he made up his story also.

Don't buy this! It doesn't work right!
I bought this and it doesn't work right! It responds like the the instructions say it does, with the quick flashes, but it does nothing else! I would not recommend this. Buy the way I tried many different combos/dvds. I spent too much time and dealt with much trouble with this one. I gave it 1 star. I am returning it and getting the official PS2 remote which I should have first, but I did not see it here on Amazon. I hope this helps. ... Read more

Buy it!Man's best friend.
I just bought one of these chairs for my husband for Christmas 2004.He hasn't gotten off this thing yet.He's a computer guy and as most of us know they have a tendency to be gamers as well.It was an easy setup and worked instantly!I like it cause the tv doesn't have to blaring to play the vid game, because the speakers are right next to his ears.I sat in it momentarily and thought it was quite comfortable.Don't hesitate anymore, just buy it - you won't regret it.

if you have played music generator 1 or 2 you know what to expect from this title. this is the true sequal to jester interactives mtv music generator.all the choices are here ,...you can be as creative as you want to be....the only draw back is the slow ps2 interface......but i like it so much i intend to buy the xbox version as well

Workable Alternative
I bought this controller on my never-ending quest for just the right controller for my Xbox.That being said, I have to report, that, and relative cheapness are the only two valid excuses for trying it.The ergonomic differences are subtle.The grips are marginally smaller than the Controller-S but the trigger end is slightly is slightly larger.As if it was made for people with small hands but long fingers.

For me, with smaller hands and fingers, the Phoenix Pad is actually less comfortable than the Microsoft controller.I do prefer the rubberized grips, though.In addition, the designers decided to recess the black and white buttons.A pain if you are playing a game that actually uses them heavily.It is slightly lighter than the Controller-S, and seems as well built over all.

This is one you will have to decide on your own.I never did figure out the 'Stick Switch' feature, and now wonder what I will do if I accidentally trigger it.It also seems a little less responsive than my other controllers.So for me, the Phoenix goes into the box in the closet where I keep my spares. ... Really Not Worth The Hassle
I've owned this memory card ever since I accidentally bought it with my PS2 in 2002.It's worked with every game I've used it with.Unfortunately, the memory card is a huge, huge hassle.You have to insert the CD EVERY time you want to use the memory card.You may think it's not much of a hassle but it is!

Having been dealing with it for 3 years now, I can tell you that I will not play my PS2 just because I don't feel like swapping CD's.Plus, if you insert a game and press the button to try to boot from the CD before the disc has spun-up (making the little whirring noise) the Memory Card software just locks up and you have to go through the entire process again. Just spend the couple extra bucks and buy the Nyko (the ugly yellow one) or the official Sony PS2 ones ... you'll have earned your money back in time and annoyance saved in about a week.

Sucky
The whole cd thing is a hassle anyway, but my seller didnt even send me the cd, so the card doesnt work.Sometimes you get what you pay for.Just dont be cheap and get a memory card by Sony.

Stay away
from this card.It's almost the same price as the Sony card and you have to load their CD every time you turn on the system.The hassle is not worth the small savings.

This card works ok but the cd need is annoying.
This card works fine with all the games that I have including Grand Theft Auto 3. The only problem I have is having to load the cd every time witch becomes very annoying. If this does not bother you then this card is a good buy.

Worst joystick ever.
I bought this stick because I am an avid gamer, mostly of the fighting genre.I attend tournaments regularly for Tekken Tag and Tekken 4 so I wanted to use a stick instead of a pad so I bought this one because of its cheap price (other sticks tend to cost $50+), but I made the wrong choice.The stick itself is set in a square recession which makes the diagonals harder to hit and the buttons are of the "nipple" type instead of the standard pushbutton fare.The stick also requires much farther movement in order to get it to register.
This stick is also prone to break.I bought mine and played with it for 2 weeks and it broke.The stick stopped registering movement and several buttons ceased to work.I am very dissapointed in this stick.I would not recommend it to anyone.Even if you really need a stick, you should steer clear of this junk.
Instead of this stick, I suggest that you should try out MASSystem sticks, Namco/Hori sticks, or the elusive Korean Stick.These sticks are the most common at tournaments because they are the best.

Terrible product
I tried this stick out to compliment my old Namco arcade stick. They shou'dve spent less time with the metal, and put more of the money into developing responsive buttons and a stick that registers motion correctly. None of the extra features matter if the basic design is flawed so deeply. A controller's first and really, only purpose is to enable you to move your character around smoothly onscreen. The Shadowblade fails at this. I've used Ascii sticks, Hori sticks, Mas sticks, and the Shadowblade isn't even close though it shares a similar price range.

Shop around. There are way better sticks out there. Especially if you're a fighting game fan, you're just torturing yourself if you buy this mess.

A good start
I can somewhat agree with some of the reviews. This stick is a little stiff, but it's designed that way. It's metal for crying out loud. You can drive a car over the side with the buttons and it would still work. In the winter, it's a little cold on your lap but, again, it's metal. I've used it for fighting games and had very little difficulty adjusting to it's controls. It isn't really designed for RPG's, drivers, or shooters. It's well made, sturdy and dependable in my opinion. No. I do not work for a gaming company. haha Just an average couch potato gamer.

SHADOWBLADE ARCADE STICK
THIS STICK IS BOGUS. STATES IT IS ANALOG AND DIGITAL BUT WILL NOT PLAY MOST PLAYSTION GAMES.WHEN I CALLED THE COMPANY TO COMPLAIN THEY STATE THEY NEVER ADVERTISE IT WOULD WORK IN ANALOG MODE.WELL I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT WHEN I READ IT IS ANALOG AND DIGITAL I ASSUME IT WILL WORK IN BOTH

possibly the worst stick I've ever used
On a whim and a touch of desperation I picked this up at a local shop, being the only stick I could find in town. I really regret doing so because it's just awful. "Mush" describes it well, mushy buttons, mushy stick, just mushy. This is due to the fact that everything on the stick is capable of operating in analog mode (why? this is an arcade stick for crying out loud!). Because of this, response time is greatly reduced in fighters and you've got to really throw the stick through its entire range before it will register.

If you've ever used a nice stick like the ASCII FT (even the Agetech DC stick) or any of Happ's sticks in an arcade for any length of time, avoid this thing like the plague. You'll regret it as much as I do. ... Read more
