A Clarification...
Just thought I'd clear up a bit of misinformation here.The item listed here isn't a book, but a disc.If anyone remembers the old GameGenie enhancers from the Nintendo and Sega days, this is like that, but for modern PS2 games.They contain not the standard "lower wanted level" and "Weapons" cheats that are found anywhere on the web, but rather alters the entire gameplay without the need for cheats.I had the disc for "Vice City" and it was quite good.Among the settings that you could program onto your game (which won't mess up your stats if you save after using them) were things like "moonjump", "unlimited health", "unlimited money", "unlimited ammo", "no police AI", "freeze mission timers", and "no vehicle damage."

Some of these can be invoked, to a lesser extent, by using the standard cheats, but the beauty of these is that you only need to activate them once per gaming session, and like I said, you can save your game without any adverse consequences as these are stand-alone cheats, and won't alter your stats or affect the number of pickups (for you folks who aren't satisfied 'til you've gotten 100% completion.)Other of the cheats like "no vehicle damage" or "no police AI" (you have a wanted level, but cops run around like idiots and never really pursue you) are unique and exclusive to the disc, and are worth the price just by themselves.I'm going to get this as soon as it's released, as the Vice City disc provided hours of maniacal fun.

Always Buy From The Maker
If you want a DVD Remote, always, ALWAYS buy it from Sony.Not only will an off-brand remote (or anything else) possibly break down your system, but it's hardly even worth it (price-wise).

My mother bought me this one to go with my PS2 for it's price because the guy at Target told her that it didn't matter which kind you buy.I thought I'd at least give it a try, knowing that it probably wouldn't work.Sure enough, after getting everything plugged in and such, nothing worked correctly.Some of the buttons didn't work at all, while some of them did work sometimes.My DVD was stuck playing and every time I pressed something it said something about not being able to read the command.

After about an hour and a half of messing with it, I still couldn't get it to work.Frustrated, I threw down the remote and used the controller.About half-way through my movie, the DVD stopped itself and started over.I tried this numerous times, but after a shorter and shorter time, it would stop itself and start over.It took me a little while to realize that this DVD remote was still connected to the PS2.I took it out, and amazingly the DVD worked fine.

Now, I'm bothered that perhaps my PS2 got some kind of internal damage that just hasn't shown up yet.DO NOT buy this, despite it being a few dollars cheaper than the brand name.I'm not sure if I just got a broken one or what, but I wouldn't take the chance.Off-brand things should never be trusted until tested.And this has been tested.Do not trust. ... So much fun for the whole family!
This game is tons of fun!My husband, children (ages 6 and 7) and I have had hours and hours of enjoyment from this game.I definetely recommend that your children be able to read fluently to thoroughly enjoy the game.This game is also great for informal parties, as an ice breaker.

Lots of fun, better than owning a karaoke machine!
This game was a lot of fun. The microphone headset works great. The only downside is I wish it had more songs... but I guess that is what sequals are for. Overall a good product, fun to play with friends or family... or even by yourself.

Lots of fun, especially with a lot of people
It's a pretty fun game.It doesn't have a whole lot of songs, maybe around 30-40, but the ones that it does have are fun to sing and are songs that generally a lot of people know, or would be willing to learn.There are also several different modes to play in, so you can play the game over and over and never get tired of it.Perhaps one of the best features is that up to 8 people can play without any extra expansion packs or controllers; all you need is one controller and the USB headset and you just pass it around for everyone to play.

I agree with everyone else, though, when they say the headset is very flimsy.I originally was going to get a separate headset but bought the package deal.Bad idea.You practically have to eat the thing to sing, and it IS small and will get caught in long hair.Plus, you don't get the fun karaoke experience.My advice: buy the game separately, then get the handheld mic.As soon as I get some more money I'm gonna get the handheld mic myself, it picks your voice up better.

Overall, a good buy!And lots of fun, especially if you have a lot of outgoing, un-self-conscious people.

Buy the one without the headset!
I'm still giving this game 5 stars, but do yourself a big favor and do NOT buy this version.Amazon also sells the same game without the headset.Use your savings to purchase the PS2 Handheld Mic!Your scores will be so much better because the game will be able to pick up your voice.

The included headset is child sized, and in order to get it to work, one needs to hold the mic to ones mouth and it still cuts out.Do yourself a favor and buy the this game without the included mic!And also pick up Karaoke Revolution 2 at the same time while you are at it so you'll have 70 songs to choose from!

Don't Buy It!!!
If it were possible to give 0 Stars, I would. This memory card is THE biggest piece of garbage ever! You have to pop the cd EVERYtime you want to use it. And sometimes it takes you 10 minutes of restarting your PS2 for it to FINALLY read the freakin' thing. The price and the storage capacity may sound tempting, but its not. Don't buy it! You'll spend many frustrating minutes restarting your PS2 to get it to work. Plus, if you scratch it bad enough to where its not readable. Well, there goes all your saved stuff, because you can't even access the memory without it. DON'T BUY IT!!!

'Crystal clear picture'.......
I thought this thing was going to be a lousy product,works great! The picture is 'crystal clear',I guess it depends what kind of t.v. you buy. To bad 'Sony Playstation 2' didn't include this adapter in the box,which they should've,like 'Sega' and 'Nintendo'.

Good but only good with ps2 console
Ok, this device works without a doubt.I give it 4 out of 5 stars because it only works with ps1 and ps2 consoles.For the same price, other companies make adapters that work with other consoles which is beter in the long run in case you buy more consoles.AFter all, i dont think buying an official adapter to hook up to your tv by sony is needed.It is just wires underneath and as long as the hookups match, other brand names can do fine.My take is buy a 3rd party adapter for the same price that can hook up multiple consoles.

I bought this cable, so I could connect my console to a Motel 6 TV.The TV was not equipped with anything but the round Radio Frenquency (RF) connector, and the result was terrible.Lines ran through the picture constantly from outside interference and the picture was extremely blurry.INSTEAD, I recommend you use your money to buy a new TV that is equipped with standard video/audio phono plugs as a bare minimum.If possible, get a TV equipped with S-VHS or HDTV component connectors for the absolute best picture. ... Great Product for boosting your Ps2 needs!
This product I bought as I needed a combo pack for a few new items that I did not buy seperate. I have not tried the controller for its feel however the rest is solid! However I would like to make a side note, Amazon says this product comes with a 8MB card, it does not, so keep that in mind ok? =)

Great for if you just bought a PS2 or if you already have one and just want to have more accesories.Has everything you need like an extra controller which is a must if you only have one and if you already have two it comes in handy when you plug in the multi-player tap for parties and if you want to play with more than one friend. It also comes with a Extension cable if yor TV is farther away from where you sit to play than you would like it to be and also an optical cable which dosent really serve much of a big purpose. Also a Lighted DVD Remote for when you would like to watch a movie and dont want to mess with the controller to find out what buttons to press to play and stop, etc. Finaly, a DVD Lens Cleaner to fix your PS2 when Disc Read Error pops up.

Great for beginners
If you just bought a PS2 this is a great buy. It has everything you basically will need. An extra controller (a must on every system), a dvd remote (very handy instead of messing with regular controller and can function as a controller for non analog games :), a multitap (great for parties or people with more than one friend), a controller cord extender (great if your couch/chair isn't that close to the tv and the cord pulls out alot), and finally a lens cleaner (prevents very bad "disc read error" s).There is an audio cord too but you don't need it. I bought AirFlo ex from circuit city. One of the analog sticks are not working properly. This controller is not a good buy.

Great Idea...Not so great product
Basically, this product is not built to last.I liked everything about this controller, except the fact that it is 6 months later and it doesn't work anymore.The left analog stick randomly sends signals to go to the right.So when I am trying to race in Need For Speed, I randomly get sent into the wall. :(The airflow idea works really well, it keeps your hands dry...but 6 months is not an acceptable lifetime for a controller.I will not buy this product again, maybe the next version if they come out with one.

Better than I expected
I hate having to wipe the sweat from my hands when I am playing, so this controller was a godsend to me.Sure, the buttons aren't as responsive as the Sony controller and the L2 and R2 buttons feel very strange for a while, but the air flow works like a dream.Even given my concerns about the buttons, I use this in any case because it is just so much more comfortable to play with.

I have been using the controller for about 7 months pretty much every day for a couple of hours or more.Recently the left stick seems to go dead sometimes and then it works after you reboot, so maybe longeivity is an issue.But the air flow works so well I am just going to buy another one.

I know it sounds like a gimmick, but I have no complaints.

Don't waste your money
I thought it would be cool (pardon the pun) to have a controller with a fan that prevented the gamers' affliction of SPS (Sweaty Palms Syndrome), but this controller does nothing better than keep your hands cool.Buttons are mushy, crosshairs/camera angles float and wander around the screen (L1 button), pushing the R3 button too hard to the rights pauses your game, if you're switching between weapons (alternating between circle then square buttons), you'll have to hit the square button twice because for some reason, the first time doesn't take.You'll have to reset your PS2 two or three times for the controller to work at all, otherwise you'll have no control--your character will move on its own or the camera will continually circle you without pushing anything at all.The only way to fix this is reset your PS2 (again).This controller has a mind of it's own.If you're a gamer that needs control and responsiveness from a controller, don't buy the Nyko Air Flo EX. Simply fantastic. Worth twice the price in fact
Yes, you CAN use RF Adapters instead of a switcher, but why would you? RF = lowest possible Audio and Video quality. SVHS and RCA Audio jacks = Awesome picture and sound.

I bought this because I run my games through my home theater reciever. And between me and my roommate, We have DVD, VHS. PSX, Dreamcast, PS2, Gamecube and XBox. We had to constantly switch the plugs in the back. This solved all my problems and it also comes with little tabs labelled "XBox" "PS2" etc, so you can label the switches to what matches. Now all my game systems only use ONE input on my reciever.

Price to Performance/Features ratio, it can't be beat

Fixes sound degredation
For those of you who don't think you need a switcher, you must just have one or two systems connected to your VCR or TV.

Certainly a person can use those handy three-dollar y-connectors from any electronics store, however after your third console purchase it would have been just as cost effective to get a switch box.Especially once you daisy chain too many y-connectors and systems sound degredation occurs and you have to turn up the volume much higher than you would normally need to.

For those gamers with two stereo capable consoles, don't get something like this... it's once you get that third console that y-connectors are no longer cost-effective plus they degrade sound quality.For those gamers planning on owning more than two consoles in their future, one might as well spend a little extra money now to improve sound quality later.

Don't believe the bad reviews.
This is an excellent solution for people who have more than one game system to hook up.I have an N64, Gamecube, VCR, and DVD, and once I got everything hooked up, I couldn't understand how I lived without it.Yes, it's a switch box, but a well-made one.Yes, RF adapters will work, but who wants and even bigger cable nightmare?

I found this to be, as I said before, an excellent solution.

This game is not fun at all, hence the low price.I'm not going to waste my time going into detail but basically I am not impressed with any area of this game.

WOW!!
OK, I know your thinking that bargin games give you what you pay for. NOT SUPER TRUCKS RACING, this game has exellent graphics, track layouts, truck sounds, and great handling. It feels like your driving a big rig around tight corners and bends and you get a real feel for the road. This is just as good as some $50 racers, but the one thing that made me give it a four is that the AI trucks get to be very difficult as the game progreses. If you are a racing fan $ for this game is a no-brainer. It's that good!

2 Tons of Racing Fun!
Don't let the Super Low price fool you. Super Trucks is one great racing game. I bought this game Friday afternoon and played it literally, ALL weekend long. It is THAT addictive.

There are several championship modes that start with a beginner's series and once you win that, you unlock the next level up. Each series consists of a number of races at various tracks against between 5-7 other trucks. The variety of tracks is wonderful. From racing thru closed-off streets of Los Angeles, NASCAR style in Texas or up and down the rolling English countryside there is sure to be a favorite track for evryone and a few tracks you need to practice extra hard at.

At the start of each championship series you choose a truck ranked on speed, handling and acceleration. As you progress, more trucks are unlocked. Real drivers are used, but to be honest, I doubt anyone will notice or care. Before each race you are given 5 laps to qualify and then only 3-4 laps to race which makes for an interesting experience. After 5 laps of hitting your braking marks and trimming 1/2 second off your lap time, once the race starts, you basically bump and grind for 3-4 laps with the other guys. Which brings me to my only gripe. As the championship series progress and the AI gets "tougher", the other trucks simply run into you more often and knock you off the track with more frequency. There is a system where you are given "penalties" for excessive contact and I frequently see a note on screen telling me this is happening but everytime I am sent flying into the wall with a cheap shop, the other truck simply flies by with no observable penalty. That is kind of annoying. And good luck trying to get revenge, 9 out of 10 times the AI truck is back on the road before you are. Also, there is no music while racing which keeps the price down and can be a good thing especially since it means no Rob Zombie songs!

Overall, Super Trucks succeeds in giving you the feeling of racing 2 tons of steel around a track at around 100mph. The handling is what you would expect, the graphics are simply lovely and the sheer variety of tracks alone is worth the price of admission. This is one highly addictive racing game that will test your skill, no more powersliding your way to victory, you have to cool down your brakes and account for momentum to win, 4 stars with a slight ding for the dirty AI tactics as the game progresses. I love this game.

A stunning surprise
I have to be upfront and say that if this game was a $...game it would probably get a 4 star rating. However, I bought it new at Electronics Boutique for $...and this game is an absolute steal.

If you like simulation racers, and are getting tired of the same old driving games, then this one is perfect. First off, the graphics are quite good. You can even see the drivers bouncing around in the cab. There is zero pop up and the frame rate never stutters. The tracks look good... but compared to other high end racers the tracks probably look a little clean. And each truck has it's own distinctive engine sounds with the appropriate braking and creaking sounds these trucks make. Very well done.

The racing is different, but it definitely feels like you're in a powerful big rig. The AI is completely adjustable and there are several racing modes. And this game has wonderful damage modeling (if a bargain game like this can have damage modeling, why can't the Gran Turismo series have it?). Banging each other is quite common in this game, and pieces will fly off and remain on the track for you to try and avoid. And the game provides a wonderful cockpit view, which is another neccessity for a simulation racer.

Fifteen tracks are provided, with 3 of them being fictional US tracks. But the fiction tracks are well done, with each bearing a resemblance to Monaco(F1), Long Beach(CART) and Dover(NASCAR).

The only real faults with the game is no in-truck audio (which is important to provide info on the locations of your opponents) and no real presentation... such as track intros or starting line-up intros. But at the price this game is being sold, I cannot hold that against the developers. The rest of the game is too solid.

A lot of fantastic work was put in to this game and any simulation racer gamer will enjoy this tremendously. It clearly is a niche sport, but if you are getting a little tired of F1 and NASCAR games the challenging nature and quality effort put into this title will make your money well spent. ... Read more

CAUTION!!!
This product is advertised as PS2 game wheel, IT IS NOT!This store is GREAT!Took a return and I ordered the proper wheels. This is a great company to work with.These wheels are only compatable with computer games.
