5-0 out of 5 stars Great
I love the new Gray Dual Shock 2 Controller its see though and a lot easier to handel than the controller that came with my Playstation2.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best thing ever to happen!
First of all the PS2 controller is the best controller because it is not to big (X Box Controller) and it is not to small (GameCube Controller). It also is not to complicated, I mean, my 4 year old brother can even use it right. Plus now that they have made it see-through with color, it is even better than before. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Product!
Bought this for my 6 year old gaming/tv freak, very sturdy construction with no worries of tipping the 27 inch tv. Currently we have a DVD/VCR combo on the second shelf and a GameCube on the bottom. The only problem we have had is the spacing slats that hold the DVD's in place don't hold them tightly enough and they sometimes fall off of the stand. Easy to put together and even easier to keep clean.

5-0 out of 5 stars way way better than the first 2!
this video game center is way better than the first 2 video centers from step2, this one fits all my ps2 and gamecube games perfectly and neat, the other two are more old fashioned and don't fit ps2, gamcube, and dvds like this one does.this game center is real strong the other 2 are'nt. my 27 inch tv fits good and looks nice on the game center. and the other bad thing bout the other two video game centers is you can only fit 19 inch or smaller tvs on them and if your a real gamer you would want a bigger tv cause your games look alot better. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A gamer's must
I used the non-electronic Game-dr. for a year and had to buy the electronic one. If your a gamer and want to resurface your old scatched cds I highly recommend it. Most of the pople who gave this bad reviews probably resurfaced it too much or didnt buy a new resurfacing disk. All my games and Cds that didnt work work excellent now.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Real Deal
I did a lot of research on this product before deciding to purchase it, but with all the negative reviews posted i was real hesitant.I finally decided to throw caution to the wind and buy it.I needed something to repair my X-Box games that were deeply scratched and would not even boot up.After getting the game doctor i choose a game that i did not cared about loseing.I followed the directions to the letter and put my game in the system and turned it on, and just like magic it booted flawlessly!!I would recomend this product to any one with the same delema.

1-0 out of 5 stars Lame Doctor This Sucks
I agree with all the other bad reviews. Spent the money on the doctor and it made 2 discs worse. Followed instructions to the letter. I'm gonna sue for malpractice!!

1-0 out of 5 stars BOO.
this thing sucks.I BROUGHT it and it ieft marks.I tryed again.DO notbuy this.they waste yourgood money.hear me this .they sould sue the creator of this for spending your money.

1-0 out of 5 stars it works occasionally
i bought this to repair a game i got for free that was scratched up to hell (didn't go through the top though).i used it on both discs (it was Red Alert: Retaliation for the psx) and then it worked pretty good, the only thing is that i still don't get music.i then went on repairing my brothers pc games, after the second one the strip that grinds down the protective layer was ruined and started scratching the disc. The free replacement wheel had its strip fallen off due to using crappy glue.Don't buy this, it'll eat up way to much money and can destroy your game CD! ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this controller!
This controller is AWFUL! Yes, I was drawn in to the cool look of the controller (yes, as far as looks go, it rocks) and all the "amazing" things it can do to make your Episode III game better....but it totally doesn't do that. The response time is terrible after you push a button, making it nearly impossible to make decent lightsaber combos. And as for the programmable buttons-this is one of my biggest gripes-two of the four programmable buttons (specifically R1 and L1) are already supposed to be important buttons in gameplay-R1 is Force Push and L1 is Saber Block. If you program those buttons for a combo, you can't block attacks or use the Force. That's just stupid! A waste of money for me. I will stick with my trusty cord-ridden DualShock Controller.

5-0 out of 5 stars I read about it and it is used with revenge of the sith game
This is an awesome looking contoller set especially the sith one! Not only is the sith one decoreated with a darth vader helmet but on the revenge of the sith game it allows you to be your favorite baddy Vader with his red lightsaber and a lightsaber button that allows you to win saber locks in the game. I read this on the main star wars site so check it out! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Console Ever
I am not saying this because I hate xbox No but as I have both ps2 online pack and xbox i know what i am talking about. although xbox has got some cool graphics but still it sucks. WHY? i'll tell you. It was made by microsoft for only gaining more profit. Microsoft as all of us know is a big cheat. There games cost $50 but turn out to be a bit of joke. most of the games like fs2004, dungeon siege, train simulator, zoo tycoon suck. Microsoft only finds new means to robco0mmon people and one of the best means is xbox. Now lets come to ps2. It was developed by Sony after researching 5 years. They know what they are making. if you say that ps2 has lower graphics than xbox. True but that ishardly noticeable. I f you are a pro gamer you wont like graphics but the quality of games. Which games can compete with Gta series which xbox hasnt. secondly in the long run ps2 wins. Why? Read and understand it carefully. When i was searching in google about xbox2 i found that it wont have the compatibility with xbox games. so if you are planning to buy xbox2 after a few years all your xbox games will go to dump as certainly you will consider of selling your old xbox. but ps3 it will have the compatibility with ps games. there fore even if you wish to sell your ps2 yopu will still be able to play and your favourite ps titles. Now that are the reasons why i like ps2 the best. (gameboy is a joke therefore i didnt think it was necessary to include that. that sucks more than xbox)

1-0 out of 5 stars Nintendo Entertainment System
All you PS2 and Xbox fanboys are wrong!Even the so-called "Nintendo Fanboys" who support the gamecube are the most wrong of all.The true best system of them all, is hands-down, the Nintendo Entertainment System, or as we call it in the l33t and cool world, the NES.

It has far superior games...like Duck Hunter...HAh!Take that with your puny Halo and whatever FPS's they have for PS2.Plus, the games come in these little plastic boxes, while you have flimsy, easy to break CD's.And as far as graphics go, there is no comparison...polygons per second?I bet there are more little tiny boxes of color in the NES than you can count, well, before you wander off to do something else.

Bottom line is, well...don't take fan boy wars seriously. It's just a bunch of made up stats. All systems have their good points.

5-0 out of 5 stars leader of the pack for a reason
People who bash PS2 have no idea what they are talking about. Most people say xbox has the best graphics, and halo, but what past that puts it over PS2, nothing! Anyone who buy a console for graphics has no idea what they're doing. All the best games lie directly under PS2's belt: the GTA series (xbox, don't try to take credit for this one, sony has had GTA for years), all major final fantasys (questionably the best series ever created) Devil may Cry, resident evil (gamecube wannabes, resident evil was MUCH better with sony). What does xbox have, halo, thats it. As for gamecube, it really isn't intended for the mass market. Lets face it, the mass market is teens. A vast majority of games made only for the gamecube are oriented toward kids, and often lack challenge and clever gameplay.

if your looking for versatilaty, and storage space, PS2 has everything you need. PS2 is the only system that is made to stand on its side or lay flat on the ground and still play just as well. Also, you can play CDs, as well as watch DVDs all on the PS2, try doing that with a gamecube, o wait you can't, the discs won't fit! As for xbox, tlak about going overkill. A hardcore gamer doesn't buy a system for storage space and the ability to mix there own music, they want games!

Now for innovation. Sony is like Mac, it does everything first, then rivals try to leech off of it, but it never comes out quite right on anything but the original. Which company was the first to have discs? The first to go online? Where did GTA, the defining game of my era (me being 16) start? The answer for all three is sony. it has the most user friendly design, it has easiest to understand, and most comfortable controllers, and who the hell cares if you have to buy an adapter for four player games, games that support four players are few and far between, inless your wasting your system's life span playing sports games. So before you come over and crap on sony, consider the facts, it has been, and still is, on the the top of the charts as far as sales go, ever since it was released so many years ago, so don't try and lie that any other next gen system can top this powerhouse.

3-0 out of 5 stars False Advertising
In some screenshots of the box, you can see where it says "Supports maximum resolution supported by your PSP." This is false. The unit's resolution is 480x234, which is also a tad greater than 16:9. The unit's power comes from the original PS22's power adapter, and can be switched off independently from the PS2. It also says it has "brightness/contrast controls." What it has is one brightness knob, possibly with contrast control combined in it. The screen leaves much to be desired, but as of right now it's the only one designed for the slim ps2. As the previous reviewer stated, the screen is slow, and text is hard to read. Not enough quality for the price.

Also beware - if you use an optical cable for audio, make sure it's a low profile one. I use a monster optical cable and the connector is too big to get through the hole in the screen's base.

4-0 out of 5 stars Decent but kind of pricey
The thing is, this screen is designed for the slim PS2.It doesn't require its own power cord, and keeps a very neat low profile. When you close the lid, it shuts itself off.It has 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratio selection, and decent sound. It looks good, but it suffers from screen motion blur in fast paced games. This is a common problem on LCD screens with a slow response time, and that's what we have here. Also, some fonts look shoddy and can be hard to read.

I'd wait for it to go under $100 before I'd buy it again. If the response time was better I could see paying the extra bucks, but since it's a cheap screen you should pay a cheap price.

1-0 out of 5 stars This is the best thing ever!!!
Man this item is fantastic. I love wasting $80 on pointless furniture. Getting a great cheap plastic looking set that holds all my games and systems.... Man I must be in heaven. Not only that but it breaks easily, does this thing have no limit? So I bought this great video center around a year ago.... And what happens it breaks. I had it for a couple of weeks and does it look like dog crap. It looks like you're in a baby kids room. Similar to those play centers in day cares or McDonalds. Man that is lame.... I just love having children decor in my house, and it has to be $80. If I were you.... I would just let my systems, TV, and CDs sit in some tubberware. Believe me it would be 50X safer!!

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST!!
i bought this video center for my son for christmas as well a ps2 to store and at first i did not think that it would fit in the drawer part but it did but the ps2 games do not fit on the top left and right slots because of the length of the games however they do fit on the sides where you would put the vhs tapes and that is where my son has added his games so you would have to be a little creative with it. i had seen a review where a lady had bought this item for her son and she was very disappointed once she could not place the games in the slots and stated not to purchase. everyone out there! do not listen to that its a must have and it does help with organizing your room area! and the price at the time during the holiday season i could not resist for $71.99 plus free shipping! WOW!

4-0 out of 5 stars good buy
We thought this was very handy storage. It holds all our video equiptment just right.

5-0 out of 5 stars Idea
This looks like a great organizer, but with you people that have a x-box ps2 game cube and a dvd player you can buy cd cases that music cds come in and place the ps2 xbox and game cube games in those along with the dvds. It would be a bit of money depending on how many games and dvds you have though...

2-0 out of 5 stars If you have a PS2, or a DVD player, DON'Tbuy this!
I was very excited when the box first arrived at our doorstep. My eight year old son and I managed to get the unit put together, after a little tugging to get some of the screws to go into place. We carried it up to his room, and put the T.V. and V.C.R. into place. My excitement turned to bitter dissapointment, however, when I tried to fit my son's PS2 games into the shelves desighned to hold CD's or VCR tapes. The PS2, and DVD cases are too big to fit into these slots. I had just not realized that they would not work with this model. The whole reason I ordered this unit was too try to organize some of the mess in his room, so this will not work for me. I will probably try to return it, and order the newer model. ... Read more

This is a great wheel, it has a good feel and doesn't feel cheap at all. I have tried it woth GT3 and NFS:HP2 and it works great. It doesn't work so well with GTA:SA. The wheel has vibration function, and shifters and gas brake pedals on the wheel as well as ones that go on the floor. The pedals aren't analog, the're either on or off however, and they tend to slide a little on carpet. It's no logitech, however overall for the price you really can't go wrong. ... Read more

    1-0 out of 5 stars Intec isn't.
You get what you pay for.$40 isn't going to cut it in this arena. It's extremely light, which in this case is bad as you can throw this around all day long without actually turning the wheel.Where the feel of the wheel isn't all that bad, there's a huge gap in sensitivity between turning off center to something actually happening.Whether it's calabration or bad electronics I can't say, but when you turn the wheel, you expect whatever it is you're turning in the game to turn, not go into the wall.

There's an obvious delay in the translation of motion to action as well, even when well into a turn.

This isn't worth the money.Spend the larger bills and do it right the first time.

4-0 out of 5 stars Is it worth $80 NO!!!
This wheel while have good force feedback and vibrating functions as well as good compatibility with many games has one HUGE flaw! The gas and break pedal are not analog like they advertise. They are either "on" or "off"... which means they are usless. You can't control the speed like you can with the analog stick, you get either full speed or nothing. Don't waste your time, get a TRUE analog wheel.

4-0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money
I purchased this wheel yesterday for PS2 (Grand Turismo 3).I spent 15 minutes getting it out of the box and 1 puting it back in the box.

Way too much play in the wheel.Don't waste money or time.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not Worth it
I bought this product to use with Nascar Thunder 2004 on PS2. Huge Mistake! The pedals are not analog as advertised, so they are totally useless for road courses. The force feed back has so much slack in it that it makes it impossible to stay off the walls. These are fine for racing the super speedway courses since you just keep it floored and turn left the whole time. What's worse is that I lost the receipt so Toys R Us wouldn't take it back. They explained they don't do refunds or store credits for "R zone" merchandise anyway so I'd still be stuck with this piece of crap. There may or may not be a better wheel out there, but I'll stick with the standard controller.

4-0 out of 5 stars Is This Really Worth $80
Is this product really worth 80 bucks?

( The Xtreme FX Racing Wheel )

I am interested in thisand it's a lot of money for something like that and if it's not good i don't want to waste my money. So if you have this product and you think it's god or bad please let me know.

the best part of codebreaker is the number of codes available. some games have literally hundreds of codes, it's crazy! this thing earns its name by having codes that bend almost every rule in a game. you also have ability to add new codes by using your controller, a usb keyboard or the internet. i have dsl and the first day i downloaded new codes and gamesaves easily. i didn't have to change any settings or anything. another feature is that it remembers the last codes you put in, so if you're just focusing on one game you don't have go through and select the same codes again. it's loads pretty fast and is simple enough to use, especially if you already have experience using cheat disks. it's well worth the price. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Too Expensive to be that cheaply made!
I bought one a while ago for $40, two months later it broke somehow. Then I got another one for $30... That one broke too!.This headset is about as durable as a Lays Potato Chip...I'm serious!.... So basically I spent $70 on a delicate potato chip that enables you to communicate with other people over the internet.

1-0 out of 5 stars JUNK!
it WILL break.I have gone through 3 of 'em.Must have for Socom 2, the only reason i kept buying it.But never again, i have since gone silent after spending $30 a piece on these pieces of JUNK!

1-0 out of 5 stars WILL BREAK IN NO TIME!
i purchased this headset a month ago, despite being told that it breaks easily and the uslesness of it in online games. even though i was extremely carfull not to cause any trama on the headset, to broke any way. the earphone doesn't work and the microphone is weak.
so forget about buying this peace of junk, it just won't last.

2-0 out of 5 stars Total Junk
Note: I don't own a PS2, I bought this for a cheap USB headset for my computer.

This headset is really bad. The build quality is a joke; I was afraid I was going to break it taking it out if the packaging (incidentally, the packaging is quite solid). The plastic is cheap and flimsy.

Besides the low quality build, this thing is tiny, clearly designed for a little kid to wear. I adjusted it as big as it would go, and while I got it on my head, the fit was light years from satisfactory. Even for people with smaller heads, it only adjusts on one side, so if you adjust the size the headset becomes lopsided.

The sound quality is also very poor. While it noticeably cancels some noise, the remaining signal is scratchy, and generally low quality (though not as bad is the build quality).

2-0 out of 5 stars Is this the only USB headset that works on PS2?
I realize that there are exactly 2 headsets that seemed to be endorsed, but I stuck an Apple USB keyboard in the same USB slots for these headsets and that works fine. Has anyone tried another kind of USB headset, other than the two offered here, using one of the two USB ports in the front of your PS2? That would be good to know for sure. Because there are other quality USB headsets out there. I would be willing to bet that if SONY's PS2 website doesn't specifically endorse any headset, under the heading of "hardware" then, other headsets are up for grabs. If you know for certain, and have actually tested this theory, post here, please! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars memory EXPANSION
Amazon states there is an expansion...not a memory card. the pack does come with an 8mb expansion that requires a previous memory card.

4-0 out of 5 stars False information
The product is great. It has a nice four controller hub and DVD laser lens cleaner disc that helps to extend the life of your playstation, a comfortable controller, a DVD remote (which feels cheap and isn't comfortable), an optical audio caple, an extension cable, a bag and NO MEMORY CARD! The amazon description clearly states that there is an 8mb memory card. I had to order a memory card after I recieved the item. So after I got the bundle pack and all of my games and playstation 2 I couldn't save anything till my other memory card arrived. Well to make it short, It was troublesome. However I still rate this product a four due to the rest of the contents being great. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Mat For Beginners But Get It On eBay!
This mat is great for beginners. It won't last too long for advance users but this mat is a great way for a beginners to learn how to play. Some people recommend duct tapping plywood on the bottom of the mat some it responds better, but if you get a mat anywhere, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND getting one on eBay.Usually, they are brand new and factory sealed. They usually come in a sets of two (one for you and a friend) and sell for about $8.50 like this one (either in XBox or PS2) and $15.95 for shipping (The Buy It Now price on eBay is usually $8.50 but you can still bid on it to save a couple of bucks).Shipping for these mats on amazon.com are $4.49 for 3-5 day shipping and $8.98 for two day shipping so you still come out ahead on eBay.I got a mat that retails for $130 (its sort of like the mat that sells for $99 here; its more expensive because it has extra padding and it will last longer) for $20 and $25 dollar shipping. For hardcore fans who really got some moves and play the DDR games a lot, eBay has the metal dance mats with the bar (looks exactly like the one in the arcades) for about $150 (not including shipping).Otherwise, this is an awesome mat but if you want to save money and get one for when a friend comes over, get one on eBay (if you get one on eBay, search ddr or search ddr extreme).

3-0 out of 5 stars ...What a shame...
This was the first kind of DDR mat i've ever bought for my DDR game when I got it about 8 months ago. These pads are durable, but better made for beginners. When I play heavy mode songs, I slide clear cut across the carpet, and I dont even push very hard. I reccomend actually buying an official Konami pad, because these stick to the floor better and stay in place. Of course, when I always play against someone, I end up against a wall and my pad rides into it, while my friend is in place the whole time. >>; Do not buy this if your a good DDR player. This is for beginners only.

    I really only had a few problems with mine. Ive had them for 8 months and it hasnt ripped or anything. So sometimes the sensors get out of position.. but they do go back. My two pads are fine. Although I usually have to drag my pad back to the other side of the room after I play one heavy song. X_X;

3-0 out of 5 stars A Little Tip
If you're really interested in DDR, I wouldn't recommend BUYING a pad, let alone a soft one, even a redoctane. You can BUILD a double pad, just like the arcades, for less than 1/5 of the price of ONE metal pad from any company. [...] I built one in 3 days, and it works like a charm, no problems, and it works just like the arcade!

1-0 out of 5 stars Dance Pad
This pad is terrible! 2 days after i bought this the cord broke so there was no connection!

5-0 out of 5 stars This is WONDERFUL!
Ok lots of people say that this is not a very good dance pad,BUT! I like it alot. I have used it maybe for like 6 months and it has pulled through for me. Now the only flaw i see in this mat is that it is very very very very sensitive. Never ever ever roll up your mat it will break the top button or the back button! It has happened to my freind and he has not used it since which is like about 12 months. Also, if your a begginer plz buy this pad it will help you alot but you should buy Dance pad revolution two when you buy this pad.It will help when you get better in the game. Cause dance pad revolution seems to slip and slide a bit on carpet. Please listen to this review if you dont you will have problems believe me! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Died once a month
My Nyko Net Extender died once a month. After replacing it twice, I am now in the market for another method of gaming online.I called Nyko's tech support and was told that they were continually upgrading the software because it was having compatibility problems with the PS2. I don't know how this works on the X-Box, but if you've got a PS2, look somewhere else for your networking solution.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great product
When I first hooked this up to use for Socom 2 on PS2, I kept losing connection.I figured the thing was broken, but then I tried it for Xbox Live, and it works great.

5-0 out of 5 stars BUY NOW!!!!!!!!!!
This product is really good so if u want to get wireless this is the item to buy it took me 20 minutes to hook up.

3-0 out of 5 stars Awnser for "Do you need an network adapter?"
    Yes!
ps2 Network adapter is the only way you can get on line. This product will allow you to play online wireless.Instead of buying the ethernet cord (or 10/100 cord) which plugs into your router or your computer.

    HOPE THIS HELPS!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great product!
I wanted to connect my Xbox to the internet. The problem however, was that it was in a different room than my PC, and I didn't have the money to start a wireless network. So, I was very excited to see this product come out!But it seemed to good to be true...There must be a catch, right?Wrong!

I got it, and am very pleased with it.All I did was plug it in, and then I had instant internet access.I've had no trouble at all so far.The speed may not be the fastest available, but it's fast enough for me.There's almost no lag in games, and downloads usually don't take too long either. This is truly a great piece of hardware, and I would easily recommend it to anyone who wants to connect a device with ethernet ports, without wires, and without spending $100's.I must applaud Nyko. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars AV ComponentvrS/Video
I just bought the component AV cable from a 3rd party company and already has the S/video cables (3rd party too) . I've read that AV component it's much better than S video, and tha's why I bought it. But is not!.AV component seems to be a little better than standard AV cables (RCA). S video gives an extraordinary brilliance to images. Video Component looks opaque, maybe Monster cables works better. In summary:
    1- S/Video
    2- AV component
    3- Standar Av cables (rca)

What's your experience?, could it be 'cause they are 3rd party?

2-0 out of 5 stars Good component to have, lousy quality.
I highly recommend you not waste your money on cables made by this company. The plugs fit very loose and fall apart. I'm not saying shouldn't get higher quality cables like S-Video or Component they're great, in fact I would recommend if you have both the S-Video and the Red, Blue, Green holes on your TV to go straight to the Component (The Red, Blue, Green) cause it makes the scanlines less noticable making the image even clearer even if it's not a HDTV plus if you do get one you'll have the right cables to get the best quality. All I'm saying is either get the ones by Sony or Monster Cable cause the Indec cables are pretty shoddy.

5-0 out of 5 stars A MUST HAVE FOR PS2 OWNERS!!
I just bought this item recently, and it works perfect with my tv.If you have an HDTV of course it won't work with it, but for those who don't have an HDTV this puppy is sure to make playing a PS2 worth your while. It allows DVD like appearance to any game that you play. And the price is great for such a cool product. ... Read more
