Baracude 2 - Better than SONY Dual Shock
The shock functionality is more powerful than the SONY Dual Shock and I have not experienced the "rattling" that the other review mentioned. It feels better and more "refined" in my hand than theSONY one.

I have had mine over a year with HEAVY usage and it is stillgoing strong.I especially like the ability to toggle several analog modessuch as the ability to use the RIGHT analog stick for the same functions asthe LEFT one; this way, I can play with only one hand (very useful for RPGslike FFVII, VIII) ...drinking my beverage of choice in my left...

Ihave experienced only ONE incompatible game (MONKEY MADNESS) which couldn'tdetect it for some reason.. but am able to use it with every other sports,action/fighting, RPG, etc game...

I personally also like the"connected" d-pad vs. the disjoint 4 button d-pad on the regularSONY.

I HIGHLY recommend this over SONY model and the MADCAT dual shocks

this controller is great, I give it five stars
The barracuda 2 is great, it has all the features of the dual shock but more. The controller has smooth control and allows you to program the buttons to your comfort. Also the rubber grip on the control sticks keepsyour fingers from slipping off. It also allows you to play everyplaystation game with analog and has an axis swap switch that makes theanalog easy to use for both left and right handed players. I think its amust get for playstation fans

Don't bother
You can feel the "flimsiness" the moment you take it out of the box.This controller can withstand very little of the normal day-to-day punishment a serious gamer dishes out.Response is mediocre and thebuttons can stick sometimes.

Spend the extra few $ and get a realPlaystation Dual Shock controller.You'll be glad you did.

Better off with a "Playstation" brand controller
The analog function doesn't work as smoothly as an actual "Playstation" analog controller and it rattles when it vibrates.After a while the buttons you use a lot can start to stick (like the "X" button on mine).The program function is kind of confusingat first and hard to get "just right," but after a while its notso bad, and the auto-fire option can be really helpful at times. ... Efficient Thinking
I think that the SharkHub is second only to the Dual Shock Controller.My PS2 is the central feature of my entertainment center, and now thanks to the invention of the SharkHub it is also the central USBHub of my entertainment center.I just love the damn thing and can't figure out how the hell I managed without it.They've got some real smart, hard thinking individuals working over there at PS-Headquaters.I can't wait to see what accessories they'll be coming out with for the PS3.

So I suggest that if you have the $39.99 and you love what your PS2 does for your entertainment center, then your next PS2 investment should be the SharkHub.

Works great, Looks cool
I love this hub (as far as hubs go) It is the only way I could get my external drive to work correctly (powered hub).
It saved me the cost of a external power supply and the hassle of lugging around that extra stuff. Plus it looks cool with all those lights. It also has a removable stand.

I think this is great! just a comment about "Spending 29.99 on this" its worth it! i mean, a normal USB Hub is 20 bucks anyway, why not get a cool looking one for ten bucks more? anyway, thought i would help :)

Doesn't work with NEW PS2 (progressive scan model)
Had this and it worked fine with my old PS2. I just bought a new PS2 with the progressive scan, built-in IR receiver, and quieter operation. And guess what? It does not work with it. And Of course Sony does not offer an extension cable. Just be aware. I gave the cable away with my old system.

Works perfectly with the PS2
Contrary to a previous review, this extension cable works perfectly with the Playstation 2. It will not damage either the controller or the PS2. I have used it with the Dualshock 2, and I also found that you can even plug the receiver for the DVD remote control into it, and it works fine.

Not compatible
This cable is not made by Sony and is not compatible.It messes up your controllers and they do not work properly.Using it will risk damaging your PS2

MadCatz Controller Extension Cables
They are GREAT!!!Now I can sit confortably and play my games even though the tv is across the room.I'm sure most of you don't mind sittin on the floor to play...but...this old lady prefers the sofa.

do not buy this product based on the photo
The picture on amazon.com is misleading. What you think is N64 controller for the PS1 is really no different than a regular PS1 controller.... no middle handle ,no trigger, no thumbstick, no dual shock. if you want another PS1 controller this is fine for the price.

Watch out
when i recieved this item, i realized that it did not have the joystick in the middle as it shows. So if you are ordering this item strictly because of the joystick, find a different product.

Best Controller for Capcom and SNK fighting games.
I never knew ASCII created such controller for Playstation; boy, I love it!It is probably one of the best playstatin controller forStreet Fighter.This controller's D-pad design is soooooooooooo much better than the Dual Shock controller. I have no problem whatsoever doing the Ken Dragon Punch combo with this controller.I think Sony should seriously change the D-pad design for their PS3 contorller just like the ASCII pad.The build is very durable and seems like it can take my beating on it for a very long while =POverall, I think it is one of the best control pad for 2D fighting games like Street Fighter, Guilty Gear, or King of Fighters. By the way, it works well on both PS2 ana PS1.

very durable
this memory card is very durable, and very lightweight. the card will not bump off the memory because it has special cushion technology that isolates it and and keeps it in the center. it has the same ammount of memory of the standard, but cheaper. it is a good buy for the b-ball fan.
