Sometimes it is better to go with the official product.
I bought the InterAct MultiPlayer Adapter for the Playstation One because the price was a bargain.From my videogaming experience, I have discovered that there are times where the non-official product is every bit as good as the official one.This is not one of those cases.

I can't count how many times I struggled with this unit to get it to accept the fact that, yes, I DID have 4 controllers plugged into it.It became a game of "Maybe if I unplug this controller, and put it in THIS slot, THEN it will work!"

I have not had a problem with my official PS1 Multi-tap since I bought it a few years ago.Do yourself a favor, and buy the official one.

Multi tap is fun
I don't have any friends so I play playstation with my family and we use the multi tap a lot.It is a good purchase because I use it a lot at home

Equal to Sony's own multitap
I couldn't resist the purchase of this product with it's ... price tag. I used it as soon as I got it and it worked fine. I had no problems with my Dual Shock Controllers as they all worked in every slot. Memory cards fit and worked as well. I recommend this product to any one who needs a multi tap over the original Sony one. Plus you save .... Happy Gaming....Later

Hey hey! Not just another playstation controller...
It is a controller that is Emerald green and still transparent so that you can see the mechinizims on how the controller vibrate. Other than being an offical sony product, the controller does work quite well like other sony made controllers. I highly suggest only sony name brand of controllers for quality high craftmanship. Don't rely on secondhand company made products like Madcatz, what kind of name is that? not that there is something wrong with it

Great Controller
With the cool color and Dual shock feature, it really helps you get a feel for the game. Sony brand is the best out there. You really do get good quality. Plus, those other controllers are big and bluky, they get in the way. Anyway, I recommend this as the best controller for your money.

DONT BUY!!
[It] broke, not just ceased working, it broke. As I pulled it out for the first time a little piece of the microchip stayed in the system, which i then had to pay to get it removed. We returned it and got a new one, SAME THING HAPPENED. This time i just used a screwdriver to get it out and I returned it for a refund. DONT BUY!

Unreliable access
This looked like a great deal at the time since it's the same price as the regular Sony card with eight times the capacity. Alas, reality doesn't subscribe to hype.

You access the different "pages" of the card by holding Select and using L1 and R1 to scroll through. Each "page" acts like a separate memory card. My troubles began when the Memory Card manager on my PS refused to recognize any page except #1 until I "initialized" the card by saving a block onto each page from within a game (I used Bushido Blade 2). All was fine for a while. I backed up 2 of my memory cards to the Nyko and cleared up some room for new game saves - my intention was to use the Nyko to archive saves from games I didn't play often. As of today, I can only access Page 2 and cannot retreive any of the games on the other pages because my PS refuses to allow a page switch (the LED display on the Nyko scrambles for a second, then reverts back to page 2).

Bottom line: Buy the real thing. This card is a piece of junk. ... Read more

it [stinks]
If you are looking for a good controller you do not want this.This is the kind of controller they used in the stone age.If you need a controller really bad and you could play one game before you die it would have to do.I am a 10year old gamer and I know best.If you need blisters and pain you need this.Thats it, and oh yea it is U. G. L. Y.It is less than 1 star but 1 was as low as it would go.

mostly good
If you are one of those people who play a lot of racing games this is the controller you should buy because it has good steering capabilities because it has a steering device that doesnt make it turn all the way and you can decide how far to steer it.

A Solid Replacement
If you are looking for a replacement for the stock controllers and want the added "rumble" feature. Go no further then right here. this controller has a great feel to it. You won't be disappointed!

Dissappointed Christmas Present

Best wheel on the market for Sony Playstation owners.
First, I am a HUGE fan of racing games.As any avid racing game lover knows, nothing compares to outrunning cops on the road at 160 mph.The Concept 4 Racing Wheel simply adds more to the excitement!

Now, not only are you tearing down the road at break-neck speeds, but you feel every bump in the road as the Vibration Feedback" kicks in.The rubberized steering wheel feels like an Indy car wheel.The Stainless shift levers are straight out of World Rally Championship.

The pedals are just as good.The break pedal, much like a real car, is stiffer than the throttle.And the pedals are spaced the same as an actual car!

The wheel either connects to a table, or you put it between your legs.The only problem with the wheel is it might be too small for larger-sized people.I weigh over 200lbs, though, and it doesn't bother me.

I wrote a review months ago about how totally insensitive the V4 wheel is (gamer from sidney, Ohio).I compared it unfavorably to the V3 I have for my PC, and to the old atari paddles.Unfortunately, I didn't know what I was doing with it when I wrote that.

As noted by another, more patient reviewer, the V4 works fine if you take the time to get to know it.After studying the manual like a textbook, and then studying the manual for GT2 the same way, I discovered that the problem was with the GT2 manual, not with the wheel.The manual does not make it clear how to go about calibrating the wheel to remove the dead zone.Find the dead zone in the calibration, and remove it (you may have to move the center to +1 or -1 for the quirks of your particular wheel).VOILA - sensistivity!

As noted, you can't get both sensitivity and force feedback in GT2.I could get it for Test Drive 5 just fine - until the force feedback conked out.

For some reason, a "dead wheel" feel is the default.That and the speed with which the feedback broke are why I now give it 4 stars instead of 5.

This thing ...
This looks and feels real good, but there is a couple inches of play in the steering wheel before you can actually turn which hinders the overall gameplay.I don't know what they were thinking when they designed this because to me that would be the first thing I would look at.I wouldn't have bought this if I knew how bad the steering is.If the company fixed this problem then I would definitly buy a new one, because everything else about it is great.But it makes racing games about impossible to play because of it's two inches of space before you can turn. ... Avoid the NYKO Score Pak
I received the wonderful Nyko Score Pak from Amazon.com. Games that supported a duel shock controller found the Nyko with no problem, but there was no vibration. If that wasn't enough, the memory card that was included with the Score Pak did not work. WOW! What a value! A broken controller and broken memory card for less than ($)! To top things off, I sent several emails to Nyko looking for answers and never heard a word from them in 5 days. DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR AND LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR PLAYSTATION HARDWARE.

I do not personally have the whole pak but I do own a the memory card and the controller in the pak. They both work great and i haven't had any problems yet but they are still brand new. SYMMETRY AND RELIABILITY
Back in the days of the NES, symmetry wasn't very important because there was only the A and B buttons. But starting with the SNES, controllers started to get a lot more buttons as games got more complex. And for those of us that remember, the SNES controller was perfect, because, even though it did have that staggering amount of buttons, it was managable because of symmetry. And now that we're in the next video game age, we're seeing yet another increase in the number of controller buttons. Fortunately, Sony was smart enough to model their controller after the SNES controller. Yes, there are 14 buttons on this thing, but the way it's designed makes it seem as if there's only a few. On the left there's the 4 D-Pad buttons, Select, and the 2 left shoulder buttons. On the right there's the 4 command buttons, Start, and the 2 right shoulder buttons. Simplicity.

In addition, this controller is reliable. My controller has survived my MANY hours of playing my Playstation. Not once have I had problems with buttons sticking--even after mashing the Square button literally hundreds of thousands of times in Final Fantasy 8.

The controller fits nicely in your hand and ALL buttons are within thumb-distance. Gamers know that you're supposed to be looking at the TV screen, not the controller. ... Read more
