5-0 out of 5 stars Very cool game
This game is one of my favorites, it was based off the game show Remote Control, which I think was one of the first shows on MTV, because there actually use to be a time when it was all music all the time. This game makes you feel smart, I was an 80's child and almost all the questions are from that era, it has questions from the Brady Bunch, alot of Rock n Roll questions, ones that you just have to say if the person is dead or alive, & alot more thematic, tasteless and humorous categories. This was also the first time I heard of Adam Sandler and Collin Quinn. I still put this game in every so often, it's still fun to play and it brings back memories. If your looking for that cool game, then look no further, you won't be dissapointed! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Suprisingly Comfortable
I bought this controller last year, because I need a spare one. I didn't intend on using it too much, since it looked unconfortable. In actualallity, I've been using it ever since. I think that this contoller is much better than the one that came with the system. You hold it much like a Play Station controller, with the pad and stick on one side, and the buttons on the other. L and R buttons are now easily accessable, and that's good for games like Forsaken. The only gripe is that the Z button is a little small, but I've gotten used to it. It also features slow motion and auto fire. Slow motion has no use what-so-ever, but the rapid fire is really auto fire is really useful for some shooters. It's worth picking up. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Good, not for low battery power
I have a Game Boy Color and bought this a few months ago. It's great when my batteries are new. But when batteries are almost out of energy, don't use this. I put it in the middle of a game. Batteries not so good. The power indicator light was alot dimmer. I take it out, it's back to normal. Other than a glare also, it's great since the Game Boy doesn't have a backlit screen like the Sega Game Gear. Highly recommended.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best light out there
Don't be fooled by the cobra light and bone light, or other cheap lights. this is the one that should be bought. it stays in the gameboy like it's suppose to. It's also cheap, is bright, lightweight and small, so it's good for any game boy. It works on the game boy pocket, color, and advance, so there is no need to buy more lights. even better, there is a huge selection of colors for it. buy it the light has weak points, like that very annoying glare it gives off. it's also kind of stiff when you flex it. but it's a very good buy, it's also good if you want life for your gba, intead of buying an SP, you coukld one of these instead.(Forget about the SP's stupid clamshell design! If you don't care about scratching the screen)

5-0 out of 5 stars Looks good
This looks like a good idea for playing int he dark. for the next revewer i have a question: does this work on game boy advance

4-0 out of 5 stars In the way.
I bought a worm light for my gameboy color and though it is extremely helpfull for use in the dark it can also be in the way a little bit. For example it has a tendancy to shine alot of light on 1 area and not another. Also mine, on numerous occations, got loose and fell out of my gameboy, wich as you know in the dark can be incredibly annoying and can cause you to lose the game. Also a small amount of times it got in my way so that i could not see the screen.

1-0 out of 5 stars I'm not sure how this light is supposed to help.
I bought this light in hopes that it would make my gameboy color easier to play in dim light. No such luck.I really don't understand how this light is supposed to do anything. It just adds a nice glare to the screen. The only way a light would work is if the system had a back light, or if there was an accessory to do this (highly unlikely).I would just save your money and stand near a very bright light when playing your gameboy. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars GBA
The gamebog camera is a true beauty of technology the one thing Idon't know about is if it will work on a Game boy Advance.

5-0 out of 5 stars A True Masterpiece
The Game Boy Camera is awesome. You can play games, take pictures plus more! If you're into the idea of having a picture of your dog with a beard, get it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Picture Fun!!!
This gameboy camera is so much fun! You can take pictures of anything. Tweak the picture with the stamps, like give a person an extra large nose or dumbo ears. You can also take a picture of yourself, and then play a game with a picture of yourself. I recommend this to everyone!

5-0 out of 5 stars Better than what most non-owners say!
It has lots of possibilities, some of the options are better than what expensive digital cameras have.It has four shades of gray (green if you use GameBoy Color), 30 slots for your pictures, lots of lens views, a space shooter game linked to 3 mini games, and much more. You can also trade pictures with other friends that have it (you'll need a link cable to do this). It might be a good idea to get the Gameboy to PC cable(from MadCatz) so you can save the pictures on your computer and take more.I don't explain everything, so take a look at the other reviews.

5-0 out of 5 stars Blast of Funo

5-0 out of 5 stars If you have a Game Gear, you NEED this
Sega Game Gear is a great system for people on a budget (Or people who simply like the games better than GameBoy games) but it has one true vice: the batteries. Because of it's backlit screen, the batteries get used up way too quickly. An AC adaptor is the best way to get constant playing time, not to mention it saves TONS of money. Believe me, it's worth the cost of buying it at a more expensive price now, because it will pay for itself in all the batteries you will save.

5-0 out of 5 stars My Third Game Gear
well it is my THIRD that should tell you how good it is.Bought my first one way back in the late 80 or very early 90.One was stolen - broke my heart - one, my grandchildren broke and now it is time to once again get my own. I have all the Sonic Games, actually more FUN compared to todays, for its size, the COLORS and SOUND one could call it a midged PS2 - i also play one of those, compared to any other HANDHELD? NO CONTEST! The LIGHTING is superb - my eyes can attest to that, i had them for 66 yearsno peripheral to accommodate is needed.

5-0 out of 5 stars a must have

I bought it for my kids. They go through batteries like water. Only peeve is its a little bulky. I also like that the adapter can be used on the gameboy itself.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Must Have
Even though I haven't got one yet I have tried it out and it is the best! No more wasted batteries! You can play up to ten hours without stopping. The handy power is really dandy. It is also rechargble. So if you you have a Color Gameboy, Get This!

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth the Money
I got this along with my Gameboy, and it will save you a lot of money on batteries.Definitely worth the money.

5-0 out of 5 stars a mom's opinion!

Amazon.com Product Description

This limited-edition Game Boy Color console in the color of kiwi comes with a free copy of the game Pokémon Crystal. Quantities are limited, so catch yours while you can!

The Game Boy is that small, colorful handheld video game system that's clutched by folks playing it everywhere. Popular within a wide age group, including a good number of airport-lounging power executives, the Game Boy has a true hard-core fan base that comprises millions of kids around the globe.

Nintendo's Game Boy debuted in the late 1980s, and has since sold more than 60 million units worldwide--far outpacing other handheld game systems. With a catalog of more than 1,000 games and dozens of add-on peripherals, the Game Boy is a monster of a handheld game system, and a remarkably affordable one at that. Early March 1998 brought the release of the Game Boy Color system--an upgraded version of the original. It's equipped with an 8-bit CPU, which doubles the original Game Boy's computing power. The small LCD screen can display up to 56 colors simultaneously--out of a 32,000-color palette--delivered via boosted video-processing memory that provides remarkably sharp and vibrant graphics.

The hundreds of available games vary from tremendously compelling to instantly forgettable. Quality or not, the entire library of games designed for the original system is playable on Game Boy Color, but buyers should note that not all Game Boy Color games will work on the original Game Boy system.

The Game Boy Color system is available in an exotic array of colors and special editions. Accessories and add-on peripherals abound, enhancing the playing experience with everything from vibrating feedback to in-game bumps and crashes, extra battery power, and even a clever camera package that allows players to capture, tweak, and print images. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars ALERT: Bundle Pack now only 19.99!!!!!!
buy this game and Game boy color in a bundle to save a lot of money great for kids of all ages

4-0 out of 5 stars Best ever --- that is, until Ruby/Sapphire comes
Pokemon Crystal is a great game and with a GBC included, this is gonna be fantastic. Pokemon Crystal is just like its predecessors Gold & Silver.

Pros:
- The ability to choose to play as a boy or a girl
- Defending Pokemon perform animations when sent into battle
- New Suicune side-plot
- New Unown side-plot
- Game intro is different from Gold & Silver, and IMO more entertaining

Cons:
- GBC/A only
- Like G/C, only has a certain amount of Pokemon
- Not as good as the upcoming Ruby/Sapphire versions

Overall Crystal is near perfect but still has the same flaws as Gold & Silver versions. I suggest saving money for the Ruby/Sapphire versions coming early 2003.

5-0 out of 5 stars good overall with one exeption
just to quash thew rumor you cant catch celebi in this version only on the japanese version can you catch celebi

5-0 out of 5 stars Good as Gold
I rate the pokeman crystal bundle a five because it came with a game for $79.99 the game boy by its self is $69.99 plus the kids loved it so I feel it was a good deal.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome!
Simply the best handheld Pokémon game out there. I just love the battle animations. Unfortunately, being an old style cartidge, it sticks out the top of my Gameboy Advanced which can get a bit annoying. i can't wait for Nintendo to release the Pokémon game for Gameboy Advanced.

1-0 out of 5 stars not worth the hassle!
We bought this one because we were over seas and accidently plugged the 64 into a 240 volt outlet (woops!) Any way this one was cheaper, but now we wished we had went ahead and paid the money! The connection to the back of the system never fit snuggley so if you moved it, it would disconnect, then you would have to mess around with it to get it to work again! Then it would heat up like crazy, i mean really hot!! And now.. it doesn't work, so we're buying the real thing this time!

1-0 out of 5 stars Not the best, but works
Since this AC Adapter is not liscenced by Nintendo®, your warranty will not cover your system if any damages result. But it is less expensive, since you're not paying for the box that has the "N" logo on it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Power of the Pocket
Relatively speaking, the Game Boy Pocket is an extremely old handheld system. It's outdated and quite ancient. However, when I owned a Game Boy Pocket (actually, I lost mine just a little over two weeks ago), I had a great deal of amusement with it. Why? Simply because I felt that regardless of the lack of color or high-tech gadgets that many systems had nowadays, my trusty Game Boy Pocket was still "fun". In fact, I hear the new Nintendo DS has no Game Boy functionality - only a Game Boy Advance port (which I own not). That's another reason why I may not get that particular system.

The Game Boy Pocket is small. It's very small. Yet, this does not detract from the functionality. Another plus is that this system has a CONTRAST SLIDER -- unlike the Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance, you can alter the brightness or darkness of the screen -- perfect for when you're trying to see something that's just too bright to see (fans of the Pokemon series will remember the Fuchsia City Gym's infamous invisible walls, for example). The contrast slider and its black and white (not green and white like that of the Game Boy) screen alone warranted a buy for me back in the day.

I admit that now, many people believe the Game Boy Pocket seems to be obsolete. That's absurd. Those who wish to save money can get one and still have fun. Those who wish to put in a bit more can have the Game Boy Color (which unfortunately I still do not own, but realize the fun of). Those who want to "blow off", if you will, too much money -- can get some expensive, fancy system.

If you're a parent, though, don't get your kids a Game Boy Pocket. Tantrums will explode all over the place.

1-0 out of 5 stars I GOT RIPPED OFF
The guy that sold me this game ripped me off.He sent me the original Game boy not the pocket version. When I contacted him with the mistake he told me that it was my problem and to take it up with Amazon. This is not right and all I wanted was a Gameboy pocket. My father told me he would try to find one somewhere else.

4-0 out of 5 stars old and fun!
This system is great! It' old and actually fun to play with even though it's old. It's an old skool gameboy, perfect for playing old pokemon games old skool. It also comes with a carry case that's clear. thgis system fits in your pocket, unlike the old gameboy, im mean, the first one that ever came out. you can also play tetris old skootl syle. If you want new gameboys, the newest is the ds,But this is good if you want to live in the past of hanheld gaming, our you are a Gameboy collector. But kepp in mind that of course,The gameboy pocket does not support many games that were made for game boy color, Gex for gameboy color did, though

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for video
I have an S-Video connector for both my playstation and dreamcast. The video quality is substancially improved. One of the reviews said something about it improving sound. This error was graciously pointed out, it most certianlly does not improve sound. If you have an S-Video connection on you TV/VCR/reciever you are a fool to not buy this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good Improvement
This cable allows your television get more resolution, therefore the graphics are improved a lot.You can compare the difference between it and the standard A/V cable and see that S-video is much better. However, unlike what the previous review states, sound is not improved at all.It remains the same.It cannot be improved since the only cable that is changed is the video input device! If you want your sound to improve, you have to get a fairly good receiver along with a good pair of speakers. So, if you want to get the best graphics that you can out of your Dreamcast, I suggest you pick up this S-video cable.

4-0 out of 5 stars Better Graphics
Of course a 3rd party periphial can do so much but this s-video cable does work. You can tell a distinct difference. The colors are richer and the sound is also improved. If you are looking for a s-video cable, this oneis it! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars best console ever?
This review is not particuarly for the "Smoke" edition, I own the basic black one with grey controller which isn't listed at Amazon.

I bought one when PS II and Gamecube were already on the market after played a friends N64for a couple of months.
Great games! I always thought Playstation was the console to have, but when I checked the games for both consoles I bought a N64 straightaway.
When you look at the best games for both systems (a top 10, if you like) the N64 has the best games:

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Perfect Dark
GoldenEye 007
Super Mario 64
Banjo-Kazooie
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Donkey Kong 64
Banjo-Tooie
Paper Mario

Ofcourse playstation has great games: Metal Gear Solid, Tombraider, Gran Turismo, Medal of Honor, Tekken 3, but no adventure game comes close to the Zelda games and there isn't a platform game on the playstation that matches Banjo, Mario and Donkey Kong 64.
Gran turismo is a great race game, but I don't like racers that much. And Tekken is a...fighting game...enough said.

And imagine a Playstation that will not load scratched discs or freezes for no reason at all.
Playstation looks better at first sight, but isn't that good build.
N64 is very well built and the game cartridges (cassettes) last forever.

The N64 controller looks ugly, but its handling is superb...blahdieblah.
This console made me go for the Gamecube and not the PS II or Xbox.
Overall this is the best console made, Gamecube still has to proove itself in my opion.

5-0 out of 5 stars The 3rd generation of nintendo.
I have only had this system for 2 years but I already have 12 or 11 games. My personal favorite The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. Don't forget the N64 was the King of gaming sytems.
It sure beat PS1 in Grapics and Audio sound but it lost in Game
selection. I do agree with most of my N64 comrades that this system is more for younger gamers but thats Ok with me since I
have 4 younger sisters. Sure I would like a PS2 or Gamecube but
N64 is a good all around system. I got the system with an Atomic purple controller and a normal grey controller. I really want 4 more games before you can't find games in stores anymore.
I really want Majora's Mask the 2nd Zelda game for the N64.
Today I was at the Mall when I saw a kid with 3 N64 games I couldn't believe he had bought that many games from the same store since N64 games are hard to find. If anybody reads this review and you have a N64 in your closet and your playing your
PS2 switch them and play some classic N64. Let your PS2 fell
the neglect that your N64 gets all the time. Since you'll stick your PS2 in closet to play PS3 one day if a PS3 ever comes out.
I hope my review was helpful.

5-0 out of 5 stars An Awesome Awesome console!
This Console is awesome of course because its a 64. Then its got this tight color dogg! I love the 64 its got some sweet games too!64 ALL THE WAY!

5-0 out of 5 stars N64 is a great system
Although there has been a lot of critism on the N64, all of it has been the lack of games. The N64 has had around 20 must have titles on it, but they were all spread apart so mfar in the later years of the console. Now that the price is lower, this is the perfect itme for owners to pick up the system and get the great games, especially since the price will be going down for software shortly with the release of gamecube.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Of The Best
Buying a system? Whell wat are ya waiten for. BUY NINTENDO 64.
First, Want grafics, games, or both? Not hard you want both.
N64 has both for 70$. PS1 has o.k. grafics and games for the same price about. Deamcast has awful games and great grafics for about the same price. Finally, you got PS2, It has both, FOR TWICE AS MUCH? N64 is the best value. I got N64, and I'm keeping it forever. Untill they make 3D systems N64 the best. My next system I'm going to buy is Game Cube because it's nintendo & nintendo RULES. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Great Sound, but Awkward
The speakers on this product are great, but the light/magnifier component is awkward to use, distorting, and not very sturdy.

4-0 out of 5 stars a great item!
This is a great item for the game boy color.the sound is much better, and it has two white led lites on each side of the magnifying screen.the only downside?it burns trough batteries fast!after only a few hours of use, it was time to replace the 2 AA's.on a plus note, though, the battery port on this product is identical to the one on the game boy. even the battery covers are the same shape!this means you can use those accessory battery packs on this accessory as well as on the game boy!

4-0 out of 5 stars a great item!

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect!
This thing is great! All you have to do is get behind the TV/VCR, take out the TV cable, put it in the switch, attach the switch to the TV/VCR, and set the channel. It works everywhere! on Every TV! A MUST BUY for gamers.

2-0 out of 5 stars Ummm...
Go for any other RF adapter, except for this one. It distorts the picture and turns the screen dark grey (yes, I was on the right channel!) Consider another one instead.

This RF Switch for dreamcast works so much better than the Nyko RF Max 900 which is supposed to work for Dreamcast, N64,and Playstaion. Just because it sounds good and has a price of ... doesn't mean it works! It distorts the visual quality of my television when ever I get it to work (I can count the # of times it has actually worked for me with one hand). This Pelican RF Switch is worth the 2 extra dollars even though it's just for Dreamcast. ... Read more
