The PSOne and screen is great for trips and such. If you buy this item I would recommend: 1. PSOne Car Adapter - Makes device Portable. Plugs into any cigarette-type outlet in car, even to socket on airplanes (check below your seat next time)! 3. PSOne Island Blue Dual Shock Controller (Awesome color) 2. PlayStation Memory Card (Light Gray or Island Blue) 4. PSOne Deluxe Carrying Case (Made by various companies) 5. 1/8" (Headphone jack type) Camcorder Stereo A/V Cable (Ask for at any Radio Shack, they will have it. This is ALL you need to hook up a DVD Player, VCR, etc. to the screen's AV IN. You don't need any PS2 cables or whatever described in another review.)

The built in sound isn't the best, probably like laptop speakers, but you can plug your headphones into it, or just use your AV out and plug it in to your stereo... The best part is, in addition to being a CD player / PS1 game player, you can plug in an external input for any kind of video - TV, VCR, DVD, PS2. Here's how. Buy a 1/8" stereo male to dual RCA female adapter. Plug the yellow video out from the PS2 into the white plug of the adapter. Plug the white left audio out from the PS2 into the red plug of the adapter. And you're good to go. The screen should turn itself on whenever the 1/8" plug is in. Sure you only get a mono/left signal, but if you can switch your material to mono it works. 95% of the time this should be fine. Or you can buy further adapaters & combine the left & right signals. ... Read more

It has buttons, which if you apply pressure to using your fingers, it will cause characters on the screens to do such things as jump, kick, punch, or shoot any number of weapons. There's a cross on it that symbolizes the sacrifice and passion that went into making this controller. That and movement for the character on screen. There's a start button. That begins the game or pauses the action, so that the player may re-evaluate his gaming strategy. Next to it is ally and colleague "Select" which performs it's namesake - selecting positive items of interest. There are also, on the top, "L" and "R" buttons on the top - L meaning "left" and R meaning "right." Their possibilities are endless, from moving a character to performing moves. A classic controller. The only bad thing is sometimes my fingers hurt A LOT after button smashing on this thing. Owie...
Not since the glory days of my incessant SuperNES gaming have I owned a controller that I could throw into walls, concrete blocks, and run over with my car (don't look so suprised, the Street Fighter II series instilled that kind of rage in all of us!) and still have the controller work as well as it did when I took it out of the box!I bought my first SuperNES system when it first came out in 1990, and I've put countless hours of use and abuse into the original controllers that came with it.13 years later, they still work... OK.Of course, they're certainly not in as top form as they once were, but I chalk that up to not taking care of those controllers as well as I take care of my PS2 ones (well, now, Tekken Tag taught me how fragile THOSE controllers are, heh!).If I had, I bet they would still be in excellent working order instead of just fair. I've owned a couple of off-brand controllers with various functions and whatnot, and they just don't stand up to the durability or have the comfort of the original controller. In fact, the SuperNES controller is THE most comfortable controller I have ever used on ANY system EVER (and I've played games on just about every console ever released). The PS1 controller is the only other controller that comes close. About the only complaint I have is the short cord length (of course), but then, if ANY game system controller were made as long as they should, the companies wouldn't make near the money from extension cord sales... If you're going to play retro, make sure you go with the original.Speaking of which, it's high time I revisit the mystical kingdom of Zeal... ta ta!
Not much to say about a video game controller manufactured by the company that made the system in which the controller is used for.But I can say this:You are going to need some if you want to play video games for the SNES and if you do not trust off brand products.

I got it, and am very pleased with it.All I did was plug it in, and then I had instant internet access.I've had no trouble at all so far.The speed may not be the fastest available, but it's fast enough for me.There's almost no lag in games, and downloads usually don't take too long either. This is truly a great piece of hardware, and I would easily recommend it to anyone who wants to connect a device with ethernet ports, without wires, and without spending $100's.I must applaud Nyko. ... The title is uniquely demanding in resources and skill, and therefore it is uniquely rewarding. I would characterize it as a cross between an arcade game and a sim-- however odd that may seem. Don't think of it as an expensive XBOX game; think of it as an inexpensive arcade game, with a very unique control system. I love it. Steel Battalion has been providing me with the kind of gaming bliss I have not experienced since Halo. Bring on Line of Contact. ... Read more

Cons: Overall Score: 2 out of 5. Rent it, maybe, and see what you think, but buy something else for the money. That's a shame too, because the story is actually pretty good. The writing is pretty crisp and brimming with the humor that made the series enjoyable. In all honesty, the story would have been much better served as another episode/movie in the Wallace and Gromit series instead of this game.

The story is actually confusing and told in flashback style (some flashback shots are cinematically realistic). Bishop is an ultra-tech Soldier and who is married to Lynn Takamura - a Neural Interface designer for some weapons tech firm. Bishop was supposed to execute a terrorist called Archer but failed. Archer came back to kill Lynn and to take control of Bishop's neural technology sending him about the globe committing terrorist acts of violence. Eventually Bishop finds a way out from Archer's control and goes to take Archer down himself. So kill.switch plays like you would expect it too - run around various levels (there are 5 major levels divided into two parts each) shooting the enemy and diving behind boxes as you blow things up. Sounds boring or unoriginal - yes, maybe - but kill.switch does it all so furiously. Once you start firing and throwing grenades and dancing about the obstacle pulling off headshots with some blind fire you will see how enjoyable all of this really can be and for that kill.switch is all golden 5 stars. However it does have some negatives. The story is simply very hard to understand and makes no sense. The zooms are not very deep on the gun scopes meaning that you do not really get to zoom around and see the awesome sights that they have designed. It could have done with better zooms. It was absolutely terrible that they did not make more objects destructible. You couldn't even shoot up things like tables and chairs. I didn't see a single wall blow out in the game. In the end I would not really purchase this unless you like blast em ups. If blast em ups are your thing then do not even think twice about this review. Stop now and go pick up kill.switch. It is insane live fire from start to finish. You will get a bang for your buck. However if you are looking for a game that might do something other than that (forget any type of Splinter Cell objectives or Metal Gear Solid coolness) then I suggest you go look elsewhere. Pros: - Furious action. Non-stop suppressing fire. Cons: - There appears to be no screen size adjustment on PS2 version.

It significantly enhances the gameplay of Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, and likely will do the same to next Zelda game (which won't be coming out for quite a while). If you plan on buying either of the first two games, buy this.If you want to add 1 and a half-player functionality (rather than 1-player) to Zelda, buy this. Otherwise don't. By the way... IT IS NOT A GBA PLAYER.YOU CANNOT PLAY GBA GAMES ON YOUR CUBE WITH THIS. Don't get mad at Nintendo because you didn't see what you were buying, guys...

Amazon.com Product Description When you first pick up the Game Boy Advance system, you'll be amazed at how little it weighs. At fewer than 5 ounces and a little larger than a deck of playing cards, the system easily fits into a shirt pocket without any sag. The GBA's wider shape fits better into a wider range of hands. The former design too often pushed the left and right thumb knuckles together during gameplay. The new layout is comfortable for all ages, and the center screen orientation makes it easy to see. Game Boy Color owners will find the GBA's larger screen somewhat darker than they're used to, but that's because the screen is outfitted with antiglare technology. Like the old Game Boy Color, the color LCD is not backlit, so you need pretty good light to play by. Unlike that system, though, you won't be craning your neck and tilting the unit to see around the hot-spot reflection of the light bulb in your screen. But you'll also notice the graphics. Sporting what's basically a redesigned SNES technology, you'll see things on the GBA that you see on big consoles, such as scaling (making objects larger or smaller) and rotation effects--technological advances that will affect the look of everything from crossing a finish line to throwing a touchdown pass to crawling through a dungeon.
