Item is not what I selected
The item shipped to me is notwhat I had selected. It was a power grip, but not the one of my choice. I requested a Shock 'N' Rock by "NYKO"(Black) and I received a Power Grip by "Naki" (not the same style or brand). Which may work the same, but again, I received an item that was not my choice.

One of the two "must haves"
Except for a good light, the Shock n Rock is the best accessory for the GBA and downright vital if you have big hands (meaning that you are an adult ). The SnR gives you something to hang onto!

It is rechargeable and lasts for quite a while (though I don't get the life they claim). However it does take 12 hours to charge so I bought two so one is charging while I use the other.

The vibration is only so-so. If it is something that adds to games for you, fine. I've not found that it contributes much.

Listening to the sound out through the SnR's stereo speakers is way ahead of the GBA default speaker.

Finally, the SnR does not interfere as much with other accessories as other similar products do. Most lights, magnifiers, clip-on covers, GameShark etc. go on without a hitch. Bumpers, all-over covers, don't.

The SnR is one of the two "must have" items for the GBA.

If you only buy one thing for gba, buy this
We just got this and it is great.It has everything you need to make to gba feel like a real gaming system.It has a rechargable battery pack attached, so you dont need to buy any other batteries.They can be recharged while you play with the ac adapter.But it takes time to charge.
The speakers are cool, I think its the best design out there as far as speakers, because they are on the outside, others ive seen have the speakers both on the middle.And the vibration makes it much more fun, the thing vibrates along with the sound from the game.
I think the best thing about it is the look and feel.We got the transparent purple, glacier color, and it matches the gameboy perfectly, and it has a real high quality look, not some cheap add on look.It attaches perfectly, has adjustable settings for vibration and sound, and the grip is the very best.It feels suprisingly good, you have to feel it.Ok, so give it a try and you will not have to waste money on other rechargable batteries, grips, speakers, or vibrations.Bye

Coolest accessory on the market
If you don't buy this thing, I'd be ashamed of you, not that would matter to you. I'ts rumble isn't to hard or to soft, it's just right and reacts to the game great. The sound is really awsome too, just like you hitched on two stereo speakers. Also the battery seemed to last longer than it said on the box (20 hours) and the AC adapter is another plus.

DEFECTIVE Light , Magnifier and Shield
Well, if only we had seen these reviews prior to Christmas!
We purchased the kit as part of the "Special" Toys r Us had.
We orginally recieved the Silver.The tabs broke after a couple of uses.We took it back and we were given the Black.All they had.
So, now we are on our second case and guess what?!!Yup broken after first use.Guess I'm going back to see what can be done.We can't keep exchanging this every week.If the light shieldweren't so poorly made it would be a great kit...

best and the brightest
i bought this thing and it was handy , i went to connecticut with the case and the stuff and my game boy advanced had so much power with the battery pac and the link was handy so were the car adapter and the ac adaptor . when i needed a battery pac i knew where to go. buy it! its worth it, if it seems expensive its not if you go to ebx then its expensive. and its worth the money. and i know you guys dont wanna buy it but if you bought this stuff seperatly then it would go over the normal expense that it is right now.

The magnifier & light cover is faulty
I've had the same problem as the other reviewers reported with the magnifier and light.The clips that attach the magnifier cover to the game boy were broken minutes after opening the gift.My big problem is that my son's game boy is in platinum, and the only way to get a platinum cover with the light and magnifier was to by this huge case.The only way to replace the cover is to buy another case, and everyone is out of stock!What a hassel!

The light magnifier is made rather cheaply. It lasted 1 day.
Then the anchor feet for the light magnifier broke. Pretty cheap. Now going to store without reciept (christmas gift) to see if I can exchange. What a pain.
