Amazing
I frequently travel to Vermont from Connecticut.Once i got my Xbox i needed a way to bring it back and forth.I saw aluminum cases that were over pirced and cheap nylon backpacks.I saw this last year in fye.I think it was $40.00 then but well worth the money.First of all, it holds 2 controllers, some cables, and memory cards in the top pocket.Sometimes i can even jam in another controller or the Xbox communicator.Inside, its even better.There are slots to hold 16 games and pockets for their manuals or instructions.The Xbox is strapped down inside the case so it doesnt move around.This case protects your Xbox very well.Not only is it good for its price but it is the best case available.

Convenience Has Never Been So Sweet
G-Pak Xbox Organizer and Travel Case is is not only convenient, but compact.It's big enough to hold about two controllers and all connector cables.Not only that, but you can compact close to twenty games in the sleeve compartment.It's great for travel, being big enough to check.If you're protective over your Xbox as I am, it also doubles as a carry-on, fitting snugly in all under-seat storage areas.Upon arrival at your destination, you can easily set up your system without ever removing your Xbox.The back/bottom of the case opens for the sole purpose of cable connectivity.The only drawback to this accessory is its underabundance of storage capacity for vital accessories.Four controllers simply refuse to squeeze in there, let alone all necessary cables.If your an anti-social gamer, great.But for all you socials, you better bring a plastic bag for additional accessories.Overall, it's a best-buy.

An excellent way to transport your xbox
Since I have moved farther from home, I am unable to bring my desktop computer with me to play computer LAN games with my friends. Since my friends and I have an xboxes, I wanted a safe way of transporting it across the country. I also wanted a case that would care just about everything I needed to bring with me and be strong enough to protect my xbox. This product has solved those problems for me. The case overall is very light with room to store two controllers, all the cables, at least 16 games, 2 memory cards. The case is also very durable and will survive traveling by airplane (as a carry-on item). The light weight is a plus when walking around large airports versus the larger heavier metal cases. This case is also designed for you to play your xbox right from the case (meaning you don't have to remove it to use it). However, I would take it of the case if you are planning on playing it for more than 4 hours. The only cons to this case for me is that I wish it had some more room to store extra controllers (like 3 or 4) and possible a hub.

Otherwise this is an excellent product!!!!!

Very innovative and nearly perfect
I play a lot of Halo at friends' houses, and I found it a pain to remember all the hardware when I go, and I would be concerned about dropping my console on the way there!This product takes care of both problems!

The Pros are:

- dense padding protects Xbox from moderate shock
- plenty of room for two controllers and normal wires, including a 12' Ethernet cord.
- Streamlined (not like that other Xbox backpack, that begs your friends to make fun of you, heheh).

the CONS are:

- Not enough room for Ethernet Hub (could use about two more square-inches of accessory space).
- There are vents to help with cooling.However, I would be hard-pressed to actually keep my Xbox in the G-Pak all the time.I'm sure it's good for 1-2 hours of gameplay; I would not expect ample cooling for a 3-4 hour Halo romp.
- Price could be a little lower.I would not have purchased it for $29.95 (got it as a gift).I would be willing to pay $24.95

This Box Rocks
For months I've had to carry my XBOX, controllers, Controller Converters, Electrical & A/V Wires, LAN cables, and games in my green sports bag (which I recieved as a gift from my father's gift of cologne!).... It held all my items, but it did not PROTECT THEM.
With this suit case, I am now able to not only protect my XBOX, and accessories, but put everything I actually use all in one place. Plus it saves me space in my car's trunk since I practically live out of my car (I'm currently a college student).



You have to be nuts to not appreciate the extra accessories (the CD Disc Case, Programable controller and DVD Lens Cleaner). You don't have to use all these items, since they're easily sellable on your own accord.

Not worth the money
This item, while neat in its own feature-esque way, is not worth the (...) one would put into owning it.It's only really useful when you take your Xbox places, and the case only holds 6 discs.The cleaning kit is absolutely worthless, but the controller is useful... if you don't already have 4. ... Great Product!
Bought this for my 6 year old gaming/tv freak, very sturdy construction with no worries of tipping the 27 inch tv. Currently we have a DVD/VCR combo on the second shelf and a GameCube on the bottom. The only problem we have had is the spacing slats that hold the DVD's in place don't hold them tightly enough and they sometimes fall off of the stand. Easy to put together and even easier to keep clean.

way way better than the first 2!
this video game center is way better than the first 2 video centers from step2, this one fits all my ps2 and gamecube games perfectly and neat, the other two are more old fashioned and don't fit ps2, gamcube, and dvds like this one does.this game center is real strong the other 2 are'nt. my 27 inch tv fits good and looks nice on the game center. and the other bad thing bout the other two video game centers is you can only fit 19 inch or smaller tvs on them and if your a real gamer you would want a bigger tv cause your games look alot better. ... This is the best thing ever!!!
Man this item is fantastic. I love wasting $80 on pointless furniture. Getting a great cheap plastic looking set that holds all my games and systems.... Man I must be in heaven. Not only that but it breaks easily, does this thing have no limit? So I bought this great video center around a year ago.... And what happens it breaks. I had it for a couple of weeks and does it look like dog crap. It looks like you're in a baby kids room. Similar to those play centers in day cares or McDonalds. Man that is lame.... I just love having children decor in my house, and it has to be $80. If I were you.... I would just let my systems, TV, and CDs sit in some tubberware. Believe me it would be 50X safer!!

THE BEST!!
i bought this video center for my son for christmas as well a ps2 to store and at first i did not think that it would fit in the drawer part but it did but the ps2 games do not fit on the top left and right slots because of the length of the games however they do fit on the sides where you would put the vhs tapes and that is where my son has added his games so you would have to be a little creative with it. i had seen a review where a lady had bought this item for her son and she was very disappointed once she could not place the games in the slots and stated not to purchase. everyone out there! do not listen to that its a must have and it does help with organizing your room area! and the price at the time during the holiday season i could not resist for $71.99 plus free shipping! WOW!

Idea
This looks like a great organizer, but with you people that have a x-box ps2 game cube and a dvd player you can buy cd cases that music cds come in and place the ps2 xbox and game cube games in those along with the dvds. It would be a bit of money depending on how many games and dvds you have though...

I was very excited when the box first arrived at our doorstep.My eight year old son and I managed to get the unit put together, after a little tugging to get some of the screws to go into place.We carried it up to his room, and put the T.V. and V.C.R. into place.My excitement turned to bitter dissapointment, however, when I tried to fit my son's PS2 games into the shelves desighned to hold CD's or VCR tapes.The PS2, and DVD cases are too big to fit into these slots. I had just not realized that they would not work with this model. The whole reason I ordered this unit was too try to organize some of the mess in his room, so this will not work for me. Don't get this peice of crap!!
Seriously, do not get this...i have not bought this game case personally but i have bought 3 others as they have come out and i can tell just by looking at this one that it sucks...
First I got the G-Pak and it was really good, served my purposes as a newbie gamer. But eventually it just wasn't enough...and thats when i got my Xbox Aluminum Case:

And it is the best game case i could imageing...i can fit almost everythign in there...i actually have pictures...but ill maybe put them up later on its review...I can fit 2 controllers, 1 wirelsess controller and reciever, a short RF cord (the thing that hooks your tv to an antenae) and a long thick one, my xbox cords, a surge strip, a 6-8ft 13(somethings, i dont remember the term, in other words a thick extention cord), my xbox or coarse, my dvd kit, batteries, a memory card (room for another, but i have 2 RF adapters there instead), a 24/36 cd case for all my games, a normal extention cord, and an RF modulator/ 5 slot RCA (and S Video) switchover [you can plug all you systems into it and press a button 1-5 on the front to select one). I can also fit an Xbox screen if i took out one or both of the foam pads around my xbox...
Even with all of this stuff in it i can still fit more little things, and if it took out the foam pads out of the rectangles, then i could fit even more...I appologise for the sloppyness of my review, but i had to type it fast...

HAVE BOX WILL TRAVEL
I dig this carrying case. Despite some of the other reviews I find can fit everything I need into this puppy. The system, all my cables (including the system link cable) as well as 4 controllers (one of which is the original HUGE controller). followed up by 3-4 games and magazines or strategy guides. I take my Xbox over to friends houses and on vacations. The straps are sturdy and durable. I could call them confortable but it's hard to call any strap comfortable when you've got pounds of equipment slung over your shoulder. But like I said, I dig this case and use it regularly.

Get a computer case instead!
I don't actually have this, but one of my friends does. It's actually quite funny watching him carry the case while fumbling with the two other controllers that don't fit inside.Honestly, how many people take their xbox somewhere with only two controllers.If I'm going through the hassle of disconnecting my system from behind the entertainment center, and take it somewhere else, there'd better be at least 8 people there.I personally use my dad's old laptop case, it holds the system, four controllers(controller-s... ie. the smaller, less clumsy controllers), my cables... if I want I can put some magazines in there, and games... well a couple of games, but let's face it, I'm going to be playing Halo and it's not like I take it out of the DVD drive.In short, it will work for some, but you can find a better, bigger case made for something like a laptop and it will have all of the padding and separate compartments, etc.Only 2 months 1 day until I get my pre-ordered copy of Halo 2!!!!

A good solution to lugging your XBox around
The carring case is very conveinient for taking my Xbox places. The case is just the right size that it will hold everying I need when packed right(xbox + wires, 2 s-controllers, 9 xbox games w/ cases and a dvd playback kit) yet everything will fit nice and snug so things won't move around. Also the colour and design match the Xbox nicely. The straps and handle are sturdy and comfortabe. The carring case is well padded so there is no worrys there. The downside is that the case is a little pricy though. Altoger I like everything about it ecept its price.

Great Case!
I've loved this case ever since I bought it! It's solidly fabricated, good quality, and the zipper and carrying components are not made of the usual dinky stuff. I've filled the case all the way with games and have no problems whatsoever opening and closing it. I also love the slots for the game documentation - most CD cases cram in as many CDs as possible without leaving space for the info & paper that comes with it. I don't know what it's made of, but it's not the usual cheap vinyl & plastic - it's worth the price. I'm about to order 2 more myself. You won't be disappointed!

I got this case because I was looking for a case that held the book as well as the game disk.It has a padded area in the back for six memory cards, each has it own molded space.It comes with 16 pages, the book goes in the front, the disk in the back.The only problem is, when you fill up half of the pages, you have a hard time zipping the case shut.You have no chance if you fill all the pages. ... Don't expect a lot...
Don't expect your dvds to come out to "like new" condition. You can only get "like new" results from professional type of machines costing at least five hundred dollars.

With that said, it does repair scratched discs so that the movie or the music plays without skipping or freezing anymore. It does leave circular scratch marks, which are made by the buffing pads on the machine. As for the 'cleaning' cycle where you have to use a gritty type of solution, it leaves a hazy film which I think is supposed to be hazy as it forms a protective layer from further scratches.

Use it if you have a bunch of scratched dvds or cds that are skipping and you want them to be playable again. But, don't expect for them to look brand new again. ... Read more
