5-0 out of 5 stars Great game!
Shining Tears is officially my first Shining series game and I love it! In the Shining series, the games were famous for lots of different races. When I saw how diverse the cast looked, I had to get my hands on it. This game takes me back to playing Albert Odyssey since the party was also diverse in that game. The different characters are quite a team:

Xion, male human swordsman
Elwyn, female elf archer
Ryuna, female human priestess
Lazarus, male dragonian knight (my all time fave)
Neige, female human sorceress
Volg, male wolfman martial artist
Mao, female catgirl ninja

Now that's a diverse crew if I ever saw one!

The graphics are VERY top quality anime. The party members and their facial expressions are simply beautiful. Makes me outright jealous that I can't draw that kind of anime.

The music is similar to Final Fantasy Tactics. You have your standard military themes, normal mission themes and special opera-like themes for grand battles. A beautiful selection of songs, I hope the OST comes out soon.

The gameplay will remind one of playing Secret of Mana and its more recent cousin, Legend of Mana with the real time battle system. You move around a map of an area slaying enemies with two party members. You control Xion (mostly), and you're partner is up to you. You have Charge attacks with Xion and Link attacks with your ally (which differ depending on your friend). The action gets intense from time to time, especially when you end up taking on armies of monsters and enemy races from more than one map.

The story is unique. What intrigues me most are Xion's two rings that are the core of your party's fighting power. A pair of dragon rings grant two characters the power to take on hundreds of enemies at once. That's quite a basis to form a war story! And it seems a kingdom with Rune in its name has once again fit the role of villain. I'm impressed.

All and all, Shining Tears is a great RPG. For some people, the redundancy of training using old haunts may bring the same feeling of mediocrity one may have felt playing Tactics since the systems are similar. However, if this is something you can deal with, this game will be a guaranteed hit for you.

4-0 out of 5 stars Why is this wonderful game getting such low reviews???
First and foremost I just want to say:
****Ignore all reviews that says this game is bad****

Okay, Now for the reasons why I made that statement:

Graphics:The graphics are beautifully done in an Anime style artform. The characters are all beautifully done. I would give the graphics a 5 out of 5.

Sound:WOW!Simply amazing.Especially the battle music.Voice acting is limited to the shop owners and some battle voices.Which I think is great.Since I know how to read I don't need the characters reading for me.I would give sound a 5 out of 5 as well.

Story/Gameplay:The story and gameplay are awesome. You control Xion, a hero with amnesia, through a quest to find out who he is and where he's from.Along the way you will meet a strategist/doctor, a cold sorceress, a heart warming priestess, a strong wolf, a cute and perky ninja cat, and you are found lying on the beach by a bow wielding elf.All the while something sinister is brewing. Also, a cute rabbit girl will tell you about the different game mechanics. All playable characters are completely customizable.Shining Tears is simply awesome.Story/Gameplay gets a 5 out of 5 as well.

So why four stars???The constant loading screens are a little bothersome, but all you need to overcome them is a little patience.I clocked them around 2 to 10 seconds long.In short, if your into more of the fantasy RPG's, then Shining Tears will not disappoint you.

****Shining Tears is Classic Role Playing at It's Best****

4-0 out of 5 stars Super underrated!
If you do research on this game, you will find that it recieved a lot of really low scores. And I am begging you to disregard it.Shining Tears is a really fun game.Especially for it's two player option.I find the story interesting, and battles are fun.It does take a little while to load, but that's because originally and in it's Japanese release it was supposed to have a lot of voice acting. So, the load wait is a little on the extreme, but it hasn't deterred me from the game. You play as the hero, who was found on a river bank. And of course, you have amnesia, and the only thing that can hint at your past life is a ring. You find out shortly after that the ring contains crazy awesome butt kicking power. You will always be fighting alongside a partner, and that partner will always inherit the ring when you choose to put yours on.It then goes on a yin/yang thing. If your partner has an evil soul, you will be good.If your partner is pure, you will become evil. And one of the most enjoyable things in the game is watching your wussy lead character transform in to a blood thirsty maniac. In a way, it reminds me of the very excellent Growlanser. The fighting is just hack and slash "Zelda" fun, but your party is completely customizable, and you can choose which skills to learn or level up.The skills are pretty cool in this game too, and because you will always be with a partner- you get link skills. And even if you play alone, you can control your partner to a certain extent.
This game is just really cool, and it is very unfortunate that it is getting some tough reviews. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Stop complaining about the roster!!!
I hate the season mode in this game, that being said, if you have internet access, and if you know how to use a search engine, the weak roster that everyone keeps referring to can be up graded. Many web sites offer very detailed instructions on how to create your favorite wrestlers that did not come with the game, the only catch is you have to beat the challenge mode for full access to all the features in create a wrestler.I suggest buying a turbo controller to help to make Bret Hart tap out to his own sharp shooter.Once you've unlocked all the features, the roster can be upgraded tremendously. Some Websites even offer pictures to show what your created wrestlers will look like.I've managed to add to my roster the following wrestlers: Stone Cold Steve Austin, Sid, Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage, Sting, Ultimate Warrior, Viscera, Ken Shamrock, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, Heidenreich, Gene Snitsky, British Bulldog, Luther Reigns, Mr. Perfect, and many more, all you have to do is be patient, and follow the instructions, and you can have your favorite wrestlers added to the game which makes the Royal Rumble, and the multi-player mode much more exciting.Just use the internet to help you, and you'll be fine.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Greatest Wrestling Game ever
Finally, Smackdown has come back to PlayStation 2, and boy, does it look good.Smackdown vs. Raw is on the PS2, and the sixth time's the charm.
The Smackdown games were godly creations if you were a wrestling fan, but they just got better.
Smackdown vs. Raw is the complete package. It has a solid career mode, where all the characters have voice-overs from their respective Superstars (except for you, what you say is STILL captioned). It also has a variety of different matches that dig deep into WWE's history, while still getting the more recently added matches into the picture. Also, if you have an Ethernet modem that can hook up to your PS2, Smackdown vs. Raw has Online capabilities.
Overall, Smackdown vs. Raw stretches the greatness of wrestling.I, myself, began watching wrestling again because of Smackdown vs. Raw.

3-0 out of 5 stars Both Pleasing and Disappointing
Pros:

1. Improved graphics, with the wrestlers looking like their modern-day selves.

2. Improved music and sounds.

3. Improved animations and moves.

4. An all-new submission hold type that allows the opponent to kick-out or even reverse it (Like turning the Figure-Four Leg Lock into an Indian Deathlock).

5. Better legends, including Mankind, Andre the Giant, and Bret "Hitman" Hart.

6. An all-new Royal Rumble style elimination in which instead of just punching your opponent out, you actually have to push them over the rope. You can even double-team.

7. Voice-over and Online Play

8. An option that allows you to either fight "Clean" (Signature and High-Flying Moves) or "Dirty" (Low-Blowing and Eye-Poking)

9. All new Turnbuckle Chop Battle and Pre-Match Staredown Challenges.

Cons:

1. The Season is very short. You only play in half of a year. (For Example: If you play as J.B.L., you can only fight at Judgment Day, Vengeance, SummerSlam, No Mercy, Royal Rumble, No Way Out, and Wrestlemania because he's a Smackdown! wrestler. Also, the storylines are all poorly made up. You can only win the World, WWE, Intercontinental, and U.S. Titles, and the storyline for one title is the same for the others. There is only 3 possible type of matches you can have at a PPV: 1. Title Challenge, 2. Title Defense, 3. Non-Title Grudge Match.

2. Many modern wrestlers aren't in the game (Spike Dudley, Billy Kidman, Paul London, Eugene, William Regal, Orlando Jordan, La Resistance, The Bashams, Kenzo Suzuki, Nunzio, etc) and the game has some wrestlers who aren't even wrestling anymore (A-Train, Chuck Palumbo, Rico, Garrison Cade, and Sable). Plus, for the first time you can't be Mr. McMahon (?).

3. Create-A-Wrestler is harder than ever.

4. No more Lumberjack or Hardcore Diva Matches. The Parking Lot Brawl is fun for like the first 3 times, but easily gets boring. Also, the backstage area has been reduced to one hallway that has ladders, tables, chairs, and more. What is that?

5. You can't be Kurt Angle in Season Mode because he's the General Manager of Smackdown. How long ago was that? Man did THQ screw up.

6. They included Piper and Snuka as legends. That's no real problem, but they already were in Here Comes the Pain. They also included Masked Kane and Legend Undertaker as legends with the SAME MOVES AS THE MODERN WRESTLERS! THQ is so stupid. Also for some weird reason The Rock is a legend (?!?).

7. There's not even 50 wrestlers in the game. Thank goodness this the last Smackdown! THQ game for PS2.

4-0 out of 5 stars THQ keeps the hits coming
This game, the latest in the perennial "SmackDown!" series, boasts the best graphics, the most features, the smoothest wrestler control, but lacks in a few areas earlier games excelled in.

The new features arrived with fanfare, but some fall short of their expectations.Online play, albeit fun, is very basic.Only two match types (Single or Bra & Panties) are available; it would have been nice to play an Elimination Chamber match online or even a simple tag team match. The new match style, a "parking lot brawl," is essentially a sugar-coated hardcore match in a special area. There are cars that you can smash your opponent into, but that's about it.

Graphically, this is an amazing game.Entrances are done very well; managers now come down to the ring with their wrestlers while the wrestler's original entrance proceeds. The Elimination Chamber looks very nice, Hell in a Cell looks nice, and we get the added bonus of CAW images on the character selection screen. That's been a pet peeve of mine since the inception of CAWs, so I'm glad to see it.

The game's audio is a double-edged sword.I like the inclusion of real music in the game (especially being a huge Powerman 5000 fan).It adds a lot to it, and hopefully this trend will continue. On the other hand, the superstar voiceovers are at times tacky, unenthusiastic, and boring.Vince McMahon shines in them, but that's to be expected from Vinnie Mac.Eventually, they suffer the same fate as the season mode: repetitiveness.

The season mode starts the day after WrestleMania, and it takes a huge step backwards from WWE SmackDown!: Here Comes the Pain. With the voiceovers, there aren't half as many storylines, so after a few seasons, everything's been seen (and heard).Furthermore, none of the characters used in season mode act as their characters in real life would.Kane and Triple H both coming to Bischoff's office to complain?I've never seen that happen. Also, these storylines are the most misogynistic I have ever seen. The only role of women is to be your superstar's "manager," which implies sexual relations pretty explicitly.Stacy Keibler strips to her underwear for your character and promises to let you "play Santa" later.Apparently THQ isn't down with the whole women's lib thing like the public news station is.

Gameplay is solid in this game. The controls are smooth, easy to understand, and generally effective, save for one irritation. In a match with multiple opponents, say, the Royal Rumble, your character instantly switches focus to the nearest opponent. This is good when you're being attacked, but horrible when you send your opponent to the rope with an Irish Whip and can't re-select him to attack when he runs back to you.Speaking of the Royal Rumble, however, this game features the new "Ring-Out" meter, which means that the Big Show won't be punched over the ropes by Rey Mysterio anymore; Rey'll have to work at it to get him over.It also allows for two wrestlers to team up against another and send him over the top, or for one wrestler to save another from that fate. It's not all-inclusive, however, as the Big Show reserves the right to send you over instantly with a gorilla press.

The Create-A-Wrestler (CAW) feature of this game leaves something to be desired. It's not that it's that much worse than previous games' CAW systems, but that the menu system for it is illogical and that it takes a long time to load.Once you've spent three hours perfecting your character, who wants to actually play? The one good thing I'll give it is the ability to give your created wrestlers separate outfits for their entrances, in-ring action, and cutscenes.

The legends are a nice addition to the game, but they really shine in the all-new Challenge mode, which is easily the most fun aspect of the game.Having goals to beat (some of them extremely difficult, such as winning the Royal Rumble while starting it or beating the Big Show in fewer than three minutes) is a nice touch, and the added money for the in-game WWE ShopZone helps too.

I've a few other problems with this game, starting with the contemporary wrestler selection.Stars like the Hurricane, Rosey, Heidenreich, and Carlito Caribbean Cool aren't in the game, nor are Lita, Victoria, or Molly Holly.Another problem is that the hardest difficulty setting isn't really that hard for experienced players. Finally, the new button-mashing submission system makes it nearly impossible to make superstars with a high submission rating, such as Chris Benoit or Chris Jericho, to tap out; on the other hand, they'll readily tap after a submission move of the old kind.

Though it may seem like I'm tearing this game apart, I still give it 4 stars because it has a lot of redeeming quality and is genuinely fun to play.I've been playing it for a while now and probably will until the next incarnation of this franchise comes out.

5-0 out of 5 stars A pretty fun game
I rented this game when it came out and I loved it. This sequel to Here Comes the pain is very cool. The story mode has the WWE superstars doing voice overs to add to the game. There are also secret characters to buy like Bret Hart, The Rock, Andre, and more. In this game insted of 5 smackdown icons they've been reduced to 3. This is probably the best smackdown game I've played. If you like this get Day of reckoning for GC. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Game EAbig has to offer!
This game is GREAT. I believe it is better than NFL Street and NBA Street. If you do not like soccer still try this game out and see how cool it is. I went to Vest Buy with my family and expected to buy some music and DVDs. But after trying this game out on the test systems, I could not get away it was so fun. So instead of buying DVDs and music I bought FIFA Street. It may seem confusing at first but I believe the fun of the game is trying things out, and learning how to win. SO GO BUY IT NOW!

2-0 out of 5 stars THE INCREDIBLY IMPOSSIBLE!!
ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS WHY WOULD THEY MAKE A PG RATED MOVIE AND THEM MAKE A TEEN RATED GAME? MY 5 YEAR OLD IS CRYING HIS EYEBALLS OUT BECAUSE HE CAN'T GET PAST SOME OF THE MISSIONS! I FIND MYSELF DOING HALF OF THE MISSIONS! THANK GOODNESS I FOUND A CHEAT CODE OR WE WILL STILL BE STUCK FIGHTING THAT HUGE BALL INSIDE THE VOLCANO! DISNEY REALLY DISSAPPOINTED ME. GREAT MOVIE! TERRIBLE GAME! KID MOVIES SHOULD APPEAL TO KID GAMES! REMEMBER THAT HOPEFULLY WITH CHICKEN LITTLE!

1-0 out of 5 stars Truly Un-Incredible.
This game is boredom of the week. There are 4 kins of boring levels.

Mr. Incredible: Beat up guys, destroy guys, kill guys, repeat.
ElastiGirl: Okay,I guess but very hard. I like Skyline Strech but I HAAAAAAAATE Finding Mr. Incredible.
Dash: Run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, fall, die, repeat. Run away ,Dash you idiotic moron.
Violet: Boring, stoopitt!

Graphics: 5
Sound: 4.5
Gameplay: 2.5
Long lasting: 1.3
Overall: 3.5

Final Verdict:
Movie: Good. Game: Lama, lame, lame! Rent not buy. Or better yet, dont even rent it at all.

2-0 out of 5 stars It should be called The Impossible!!
I thought the game was fun in some areas, but REALLY HARD to play in other areas. Whats with that huge Ball???It's so hard to beat, it just wasn't fun to play!! IT gets so frustrating and why would they make some areas Impossible to play! I was very disappointed in it. I sure wouldn't call it Incredibles, I would call it The Impossible!! I dont think it's worth the money.

3-0 out of 5 stars great movie okey game
i loved the movie but the game wasint great because the game
play is very hard the game was almost immpossiple to beat.

5-0 out of 5 stars Truely Incredible
The Incredibles is one of the best games I've ever played (and trust me, I've got a lot of them!).With all four characters from the movie; Dash, with his super speed: Violet with her incredible invisability: Elasticgirl, with her amazing stretching power and Mr.Incredible with his super strength. All four characters make this game incredible. The game is based on the movie and follows the plot line very well but at the same time taking you into it's own world of the incredibles. The graphics are very good. You can get stuck but you can always manage to do it in the end because it's not too hard, but at the same time it's not too easy.It also shows you funny clips from the movie to keep you on the plot. There are also bonus features like battle mode, the making of the game, pictures and of course movie trailers.I highly recommend you should buy this game (especially if you are a movie fan) because all-in-all the game is, Truely Incredible!!! ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Multiplayer
Good Game -->Stellar price

Any (well almost any) Star Wars fan / Real Time Strategy (RTS) fan will enjoy this game. Galactic Battlegrounds' multiplayer is great particularly because of the ability to create up to 250 units. This entitles for massive scale battles raging over any (again, almost any) of your favorite Star Wars world. It's great especially since the trilogy came out on DVD; it helps draw together the entire Star Wars galaxy.

Really fun with friends and great to have on a boring Saturday afternoon.

5-0 out of 5 stars A review form a STAR WARS GAME LOVER
This game is sweet!! It's just like AOE, but not different because of the Star Wars twist. I am also glad I waited to buy it, since at wal-mart I got it for $9.85. Even the voices in this game sound just like they should.

5-0 out of 5 stars I'm kind of glad that I held off buying these games....
I held off buying either Galactic Battlegrounds or Clone Campaigns because of reviews that told me that it would be a waste of money if I already had Age of Empires. I see now that this was a bogus opinion. I found this 2 CD set of both games to be a blast- it combined two of my favorite interests- Star Wars and Age of Empires. I mean I've had every version of Age of Empires from the original to the Conquerors expansion and I did not get tired of it. If anything it rejuvenated the whole thing for me. There are plenty of new twists here with new weapontry, technology, civilizations, and scenarios.

Of course there was one advantage to holding off this long to get these games. This jewel case set is MUCH cheaper than buying the two when they first came out. And if you are already familiar with the AOE engine you need no manual.

This is the kind of game that you come home to tired after a full day of work and still end up playing it way too late.... ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A workout you will stick to!
Since there are already lengthy reviews detailing what this program does, I won't repeat those. So here's the bottom line:

Greatest thing about this product: if you have trouble (as I do) sticking to a workout routine for more than two weeks, the variety in Yourself! Fitness may fix that.I have been working out with Maya for eight months now and I am not bored! My interest began to flag a little a couple of months ago, so I purchased a step bench, which Maya added in to the workout, giving me twice as much variety as before.

Other things I like:
- ability to increase the difficulty over time.Unlike a workout video, once the workout is no longer challenging you can tell Maya to make it a little harder.
- ability to track my progress and improvement within the software.I couldn't do 10 pushups when I started and now I can do 50!
- 8 months of this has made me look and feel stronger.I have much more energy at the end of the day.I stand up straighter.I even have the beginnings of a six-pack.
- To my surprise, I like the ability to change the workout environment that Maya stands in.

Needs improvement:
- I don't like the way that yoga is included in this software.I don't think the positions are very well explained, so it's not suitable for people who have never done yoga before, and the positions are often put in a strange order, where standing positions alternate with supine positions (gives you a terrible head rush).Several of the positions are also just not suitable for people who aren't very flexible -- a yoga instructor in a class would recommend alternative positions, but Maya just stands there with her hands flat on the floor and her leg straight in the air and expects you to duplicate it.Maya ordinarily recommends workouts in a rotation of 1 day each of arms, core, legs, flexibility (yoga); I have taken to replacing the yoga with another "core" day, and feel like I get better results from that.
- the music is pretty repetitive, but you can't turn it off or use your own because Maya uses it to set the rhythm of your exercises.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good Game
I purchased Yourself Fitness this January after my son got an x-box for Christmas.Overall a good fitness video game, but I do have a few problems with it.The trainer asks you what home equipment you have - and I don't have a step - but her cardio routines seem to be suited for the step.I do find most of her cardio warmups somewhat repetative and boring. She should work in some kickboxing type moves to get your heart rate up, but instead it is a lot of marching and side stepping.

The second issue is the whole rewards thing.I use this video to supplement my routine- it is not my regular thing.I have done many, many workouts, but because I don't schedule them I have never gotten a new workout space or new music. It would have been nice if you could have chosen a way to earn your rewards. So a good game if you use the whole package, not so great if you are looking for a supplemental video.

5-0 out of 5 stars Meet Maya your personal Trainer!!
I've been using this game for almost four months now and have completed 60 workouts.(...)

As I'm always looking for something to inspire me to exercise it didn't take me long to come across this little gem. Yourself!Fitness is an Xbox "game" geared towards physical fitness. You are introduced to Maya who will be your personal trainer.

Maya starts you off by having you do a physical assessment where you are taken through a series of exercises and your resting and elevated heart rates are measured. You put in your height, weight and sex and from there Maya will customize a workout plan for you. Based on what your results are Maya will recommend a goal for you such as Weight Loss, cardio and other selections.

If you own hand weights, a balance ball or stepper, Maya can also incorporate those into your workout as well but you don't need to have those things to do it.

Y!F lets you set up a calendar to record when you want to exercise and for how long each session. For your initial fitness evaluation, Maya will recommend to you a weekly schedule but you can customize that for yourself. For instance, Maya recommended weight loss for me and had me scheduled every other day for 15 minutes to start. I am very overweight and I think "she" didn't want me to overdo it in the beginning. But I thought I could handle more and I adjusted the calendar to add in some 30 minute workouts. I'm entering my third week of workouts and have been doing five to six workouts a week at 30 minutes each.

Each time you go to workout, you are greeted by Maya. Maya will ask you how you are feeling. You are giving three options for an answer. Paraphrasing here but here is an example: A. Nothing can stop me, B. Feeling okay today and C. You're lucky I'm here!

Now, based on your answer, Maya will set the intensity of the workout before you even start. As you are working out, Maya will again ask you how you are doing. You can than chose if you think the workout has been too hard or too easy and Maya will then adjust accordingly.

This is so much better than a dvd or video just for the above mentioned customization but there is also some more neat things. Like you can zoom the camera in and out and pan all around Maya to get a better look at how she is doing the exercises. There is also a tutorial that you can exit out of the workout and you get more detailed instructions on how to do the workout. When you are ready you can rejoin Maya! There are different work out settings and music to chose from so less chance of getting bored.

Each day, when you start your program, Maya will suggest a daily focus - Weight loss, Cardio, Upper body, Lower Body and Flexibility. She varies these so you aren't doing the same thing over and over again. Weight loss is my main goal but I do the other workouts too and they are geared more to help me lose weight. You have a warming up period in the beginning and then you do the targeted workout for the day and a few minutes of stretching near the end.

Y!F also has a "Meditation Garden". This is a "place" to go and do yoga exercises. I haven't tried this part out yet but others have really enjoyed it.

There is also a reward system. After you've completed three scheduled workouts, Maya will reward you with some bronze dumbbells, a new location and a new music choice. There are two more sets of dumbbells to earn after this and more locations and music to unlock.

The workouts use Yoga, Pilates, Cardio, Strength training, and flexibility exercises.

After a set amount of workouts, Maya will have you do another Physical Assessment to see how far you've progressed.

There is also a great support system at the Yourself!Fitness website where you can keep an open journal where other members can encourage you and you encourage them.

There isn't much negative I can say about this except maybe a better selection of music or music you can download into it would be nice.

The graphics for Maya are excellent! She looks almost like a real person and moves pretty realistically too. Sometimes her arms look a little funny or she seems to be floating a bit but other than that, she looks great. The background graphics could be a little better but maybe the next version will address that.

I own a ton of exercise videos, dvds and very expensive exercise equipment that I just don't use. I'm starting my third week with this and I feel almost addicted to the program. There's something about being greeted and asked how you are doing or being told you're doing a great job meeting your commitments. It also keeps you on your toes not knowing exactly what to expect because each workout is different. There are over 500 exercises and Maya usually adds one to two each workout.

There is also a meal plan for those who are looking for that sort of help. I haven't done the meal plan but folks on the Y!F website who have really like it. You can download recipes from the website that you will find on the game.

This also comes in a PC version and a Playstation 2 version as well.

I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a home fitness routine.

5-0 out of 5 stars No More Excuses!Lose Weight, Get Fit, in Your Own Home
For those who'd rather not join or gym, or simply cannot, Yourself!Fitness is the perfect solution. It's not perfect--a software personal trainer will never be all things to all people--but most people will absolutely love training with Maya.

Best of all they have an active online community for posting questions and getting ideas.

If you already have a computer, PlayStation or XBox, you have all you need except the game. Equipment isn't necessary although as you progress, you'll likely want a bench or ball, etc.

Between Yourself!Fitness and Dance, Dance, Revolution, we have all the makings of a new industry: Fitness Software.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great product!!!
I am VERY pleased with Yourself Fitness! My strength has definitely increased since I began using it. I don't use it for cardio, just leg/arm/core strength training.

What I like:
- Personalized sessions
- Ability to make workouts harder/easier (they get super hard!)
- Easy, comfortable, able to use it ANYWHERE & ANYTIME

What I don't like:
- With the amount of rest allowed in between each set, a workout isn't actually 45 minutes.. but I'm still pleased.
- Since it's a computer, she can't adapt/remember everything.
- Not enough stretching at the end of sessions (easily fixed though) ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Greater than any Dance Dance Revolution PS 2 version!
This is one of the greatest games that you could give somebody, or purchase for your own personal use!The consumers of this product will enjoy a HUGE music library, consisting of many popular dance/club songs, and even some oldies! But what is even greater is the fact that you can take this game to a whole new level, and go online and compete against the entire DDR gaming crowd! The benefit of this is simple, more fun!You can show off your gained skills by competing against others in real time dance offs! This is the most fun I have personally had in a long time!
One of the greatest things that I have found out about Dance Dance Revolution Max 2 was that you can lose A LOT of weight...I personally lost 28 pounds with DDR Max 2 for the Playstation 2, and I will continue loosing weight with the Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 2 for the Xbox! But wait...You know, exercising has never been this fun!And what is even better about DDR Ultramix 2 is... You can take it online, and download tons of new songs for the low price of $5.00 per song pack! There are currently 7 additions to this wonderful game.
If you are ready to have the time of your life, and lose weight and get in shape, then purchase this product.I guarantee an awesome time!

4-0 out of 5 stars My first attempt at dance dancing!
Just got this for xmas! Its incredible, I stayed up well into the night playing it.

Works perfect right out of the box, although I suggest you read the manual and possibly google up some soft pad mods to keep your pad in top shape for as long as you can.

Tons of play modes, all very fun including a Challenge mode, beat the songs with a certain objective, theres Game mode for freeplay, Battle and Party modes for multiple players (I believe you can play multiple players with 1 pad in Party mode). You can change the skill level and speed level of songs and even download content, like song packs, on XBox Live!

Anyone who wants to do some cardio should try out the built in Workout mode that lets you input your weight, dance dance and then calculate the amount of calories you've burned (weight can be input by lbs or kg, changable in the options menu). Very hard at first but a fun game, will take you a long time to master.

The game also looks great, graphics are excellent and even include some music videos while you dance. Fun factor is a definite 10, especially when playing with friends! Theres just so much to do in it that it'll never collect dust.

The only downside is that everyone in your family is going to want to try this crazy game. Don't pass this one up, even as a first timer its a great toy for anyone with an XBox! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Such a great Game
This is just another great Capcom survival horror game. It was total non stop action. It has a great soundtrack, and the controls are very easy to get used to, definitely pick this game up if you're looking for an awesome new game. The graphics are just incredible also.

5-0 out of 5 stars Clock who?
First, to get the line straight, I HAVE NEVER PLAYED CLOCK TOWER 1, 2, OR 3! every review I have been reading always says this game is like clock tower. Well, I guess, based on the reviews, I'm playing clock tower for the first time.

The storyline of this game is simple, but a little complicating throughout the game. It's about Fiona, a girl who wakes up in a mysterious castle after a car wreck. She can't remember anything at first, but as she sees familiar people, she remembers moments of what happened gradually. So shes trapped in a castle, doesn't remember anything, and is alone. That changes when she meets Hewie, the dog, who is a white shepard. Hewie helps her get through the castle, and most importantly helps Fiona fend off enemies, such as Debilitas, the gardener, who in my opinion, is the scariest opponet in the game. But Hewie can't help all the time, when Hewie runs out of health,(stanima)or runs low, he goes a lot slower, and can't run. Which is where fiona is left defenceless. If you get hit to much, you'll notice every thing around you loses color, and gets grey. Eventually, the screen will flash white, and she'll go into panic mode, where she can't stop, and moves uncontrollably. If you get hit while in panic mode, it turns even darker, and you can hear the heart beat really loud. Then, well, Acta Es Fabula, which I think means game over.

My point is, this is a great game, and I was shocked how good it was. It is short,(took me 8 hours)but all the challenging mini games make up for lost time. I highly reccomend it, ESSPECIALLY to all resident evil fans, and I guess Clock Tower fans too.

5-0 out of 5 stars Engrossing and Beautiful game!
I am a huge fan of horror games. I love all the Resident Evil and Silent Hill games and both Fatal Frame games are amazing as well. I was really looking forward to Haunting Ground and it has lived up to my expectations. Its a beautifully made game with great graphics and creepy atmospheric music. I have found myself totally drawn into its spooky world and have loved every second being lost in this sprawling, gothic mansion with Fiona. Highly recommended to fellow horror gamers!

4-0 out of 5 stars Painstaking but atmospheric
"Haunting Ground" seems to be championing the sub-genre of survival horror established by the "Clock Tower" series...in fact this game has "Clock Tower 3" written all over it. That was a good game, but repetition's not always a good thing. Still there are lots of impressive features to this game that make it fun to play.
The main character of the game is a young girl called Fiona who finds herself waking up in a huge castle after a car accident. Why is she here and why are strange characters pursueing her around the massive building? These are the questions you must ultimately uncover answers for, but there is a whole lot of running and puzzle solving to be done before then.

I say running, because for the most part, that's what you are going to be doing. In this game, the main character does not attack her foes. Like "Clock Tower" before it, if an enemy appears you are faced with a few options which consist of running for your life, hiding, or finding hot spots in the castle where one-off retaliation actions can be sprung. This is on the most part well implemented, plus the chase situations seem more perilous than those in "Clock Tower", as the baddies seem far more persistent and less easily fooled in this game. The mechanics of panic are very similar, with Fiona getting more frightened the closer the pursuer gets and the more near-misses she withstands. Expect to see the screen shudder and the colours to drain as Fiona starts to lose her cool, culminating in a total washout of colour and blurring of the picture if she loses it totally. In this condition, Fiona will run at random and fall over most of the time...if you let things get this bad, you're pretty much looking at Game Over, as the baddie will more often than not close in and finish off our heroine for good (particularly nasty death scenes in this game - relying mostly on sounds and your imagination). Cleverly, the use of hiding places is only randomly successful, as Fiona might successfully hide in a closet on one occasion, only to find that the enemy doesn't just walk past the next time she's in it, but comes right up and opens the door!

Luckily there are curative items that you can use during chases to alleviate panic and injury, as well as a few offensive items to throw. Plus of course one major feature that I haven't even mentioned yet - Fiona has a pet dog! Well, it's not really a pet. Fiona befriends the animal early in the game, and he becomes her constant companion. Now this aspect of the game I really like. Fiona has several commands that she can give the dog (Hewie), and it's up to you to decide when, and which things to say and do to get Hewie to provide help. It's during chase sequences that Hewie shows his real worth, as Fiona can set him on the enemy to bite and attack while she gets away. He also helps with some puzzles, requiring some lateral thinking from the player as he can go into small spaces where Fiona can't fit, and she can also go places (climbing ladders, for example) where he can't follow. So expect a bit of fun in working out how to get both your characters around the castle when needed. The dog accompaniment is amajor part of the game, so it is well worth taking the trouble to build a good bond with Hewie, especially as it can affect the ending you get. It's very easy to do, though and much enjoyment comes from training him with constant commands, and watching him explore, sniff around or just lie on the floor if he gets bored - a great character and with perfect AI - responsive, but prone to whims of his own. I couldn't resist having Fiona stroke him and tweak his ears all the time - I'm sure I spoiled him! Just be sure to try and keeps tabs on where he is and interact with him a lot - he'll soon follow you everywhere.

On that note, the castle and all the other locations of the game are very large, and they are beautiful environments, although the castle is very oddly designed, and I don't mean intentionally. Sure the place is creepy and has traps and dead ends that make Fiona's life more of a misery than it already is, but it feels like the designers just built the required rooms and chambers and then linked them up with long passages to suit the gameplay, without a thought as to how this would make a realistic building as a whole. If you look at the in-game map, it resembles a maze for lab rats more than a real building! ( A bit like the mansion in the original Resident Evil, which had loads of rooms completely inside the building with bizarre shapes and no windows). However, as I said, the cosmetic look of the locations is wonderful, especially an elaborate palace in the final stages of the game that looks like something out of Final Fantasy X! The same goes for the characters. Fiona is absolutely beautiful, and her face moves realistically to portray happiness, sadness and fear when required. It's almost a given now that seeing the Capcom name on a game means the graphic quaility is going to be above average, and you can definitely see that company's almost "in house" style and standard present here. Hewie is also wonderfully rendered, and has a real life of his own.

This is not a game for action fans - you won't be using any weapons or firepower here. The constant chasing can be quite wearing, as it can take a good few minutes to escape, which often results in you running a long way away from where you want to be, and backtracking all the way back again to carry on looking at that puzzle. It's also a very lonely game, there castle is totally devoid of life apart from Fiona and Hewie, and there are a mere handful of NPC's, and that includes enemies (there is only one enemy after you at a time). Luckily the two main characters are appealing that you will enjoy the growing companionship of a girl and her dog, and hope they both make it though alive. My only niggle is that Fiona doesn't exhibit a bit more courage, but insists on whimpering and crying during every cut scene when it would have been nice to see here toughen up a bit after dispatching the first few villains. The enemies are all suitably bizarre, my favourite being the icily-beautiful but unhinged maid - watch out for some very twisted cut-scenes featuring her! It also has the same rather sick undertones as it's predecessor and most of the enemies designs on Fiona are pretty despicable!

In closing, it seems to me that this whole game is an expansion of the final castle level of "Clock Tower 3" (which was also set in a castle), and is something of an exercise in refinement for the game creators, who are hoping to make the ultimate version of their unique survival/run away-horror. An immense spiral staircase near the end of the game (still impressive, none the less) recalls the one in that level very clearly. But this game is far, far bigger than CT3, and possibly tougher. All things considered, I would say that it succeeds in being a fairly solid horror game, but it only really comes alive thanks to its addition of dog power. The satisfaction that comes from helping and receiving help from your canine pal echos the subtle joys of the superb "ICO", in which the player also had to interact with a companion to get through the game. In fact, the two games are not dis-similar in several ways which is much higher praise indeed than the comparison to "Clock Tower 3". Fans of both or either of those games should give this a try. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars A Great Game
I've always loved A Link To The Past. It's not too easy but not too hard. The graphics are good and it has a nice storyline to it.It's just fun!I only have one complaint about this game for the GBA (and it's a big one):
This version of the game comes with a new game, The Four Swords. The only problem is that it's a MULTIPLAYER GAME!I know multiplayer games are enjoyable for some people, but not everybody knows someone else who also has this game, so many of us are not even able to play the game, which sucks, because from pictures I've seen, it looks like a lot of fun. There should ALWAYS be a single player option!
Okay, I'm done whining now.

5-0 out of 5 stars Jake Klingelhofer Gives this game two thumbs up!
This is a GREAT game. It takes a while to beat but is very fun and not very hard. it isn't really easy like Zelda: the Minish Cap, but not insanely hard like Zelda: the Wind Waker. A fun continous game with good music, good characters, and it's GREAT
all around. ON a scale from 1 to 10, i would give this game a 11!

2-0 out of 5 stars Bugger Zelda, revive "Battle Of Olympus"
Zelda was a copy of Battle Of Olympus IMO. Both games very simmaler, and if you like Zelda you'd love B.O.O.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past on Game Boy Advance is an identical port of the classic SNES game of the same name. What separates these brilliant Zelda adventures other than the Game Boy Advance's version being portable is that the GBA version also includes a Capcom-developed multiplayer game entitled Four Swords.

In Four Swords, up to four players can play together for a mix of cooperation and competition, solving puzzles, gathering Rupees and trading items. Fans of the Zelda series receive two great games for the price of one in this must-own GBA title.

On the surface, it looks like Nintendo went the cheap way out by simply converting the admittedly outstanding Super NES adventure The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past to the Game Boy Advance as the system's first official Zelda product, pretty much pixel-for-pixel in graphics and note-for-note in sound. It's a fantastic game in its own right, but the GBA has proven time and again that it has significantly more potential in capabilities than the Super NES ever did, and a conversion of an early generation 16-bit title hardly impresses on a technical scale. But put that thinking aside, because the developers didn't just put out a simple port for Zelda fans; the secondary selling point of the game cartridge, The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords is a deep, thoroughly designed, and absolutely fun multiplayer experience that's based around the established Zelda gameplay mechanics. It's here that the cartridge really shines, and makes the purchase of the game an absolute necessity for Zelda fanatics and GBA owners alike.

All Zelda fans should know exactly what they're getting into with the Game Boy Advance conversion of A Link to the Past. The original game released back in 1993 for the Super NES is still revered as one of the best games released in the series, even among the more recent 3D releases on the Nintendo 64 system. The game takes place way early in the admittedly wonky Legend of Zelda chronology. As the elfish adventurer Link, players head off into the huge overworld to rescue the princess Zelda from the castle dungeon; as players save her from the lock-down, they learn that an evil wizard Agahnim has put the land under a cursed spell, and it's up to Link to grab the Master Sword and break it. But anyone who is familiar with the story, or Legend of Zelda games in general know that this is only the beginning of the adventure...
The Game Boy Advance game is a 100% accurate port of the Super NES game, right down to the pixel. The GBA game uses all of the original art assets from the game released in 1993 for its graphics, which admittedly look a bit dated to today's standards and what the GBA can actually pull off. But it remains extremely faithful to the original, which will definitely please videogame purists; any slight alteration of the original game and you could definitely hear all the fanboy comparisons to the original SNES version. The only real changes in gameplay are alterations on where certain non-essential objects are located; a tree that always dropped a rupee gem when rammed now unleashes a fairy, which eliminates the exploitation of unlimited funds from the original game. And, of course, the screen resolution means that the GBA has to scroll a bit more than the Super NES version did, but the original SNES game didn't require any real long-distance action, so this "cropping" does not hinder gameplay at all.

And while the music isn't quite as "crisp" on the GBA system, the handheld hardware does a wonderful job pulling off all the audio from the classic. But, just as Nintendo couldn't leave the past Super Mario games alone, the company insisted on adding to the sound effects by giving Link grunts, shouts, and yells, lifted from the samples used in the previous N64 adventures. It would have been a decent inclusion had it been used sparingly, but man, it gets annoying when every slash of the sword results in an audible grunt from Link. Every single one. It's cool that Link now lets out a yelp when he falls off a ledge or bites the big one, but a shout every single time he uses his sword? Yes, after about five hours into the quest your mind may grow used to this sound effect, but as it stands, the developers should have gone easy on the Link yelps.

But it's the gameplay that matters, and even today Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past holds its own as one of the best-designed action-adventure games ever created. For those not quite familiar with the way the Zelda design works, A Link to the Past features a huge overworld with several dungeons in which players will have to shove boxes, trigger switches, and destroy enemies in order to progress to the end where a very large boss creature sits and waits to crush Link into a pulp. These dungeons are pretty much the core of the Zelda gameplay, and it's these areas that give the game most its challenge. Each dungeon (there are at least a dozen of them in A Link to the Past are both extremely fun and, in many cases, extremely frustrating...but in an amusing sort of way. This game was the first Zelda game to utilize alternate-world travel; players will have to hop back and forth between the light and dark world to solve puzzles and get through certain challenges. There are times that, yes, you'll get stuck, so taking a step back to figure out the best (and usually only) course of action in the specific area is definitely encouraged. When all is said and done, A Link to the Past is a lengthy 20 to 30 hour adventure for folks who don't remember every little element from the SNES version. Those with the upper hand with prior knowledge of the classic adventure can probably breeze through it in a dozen. But whether you're a newbie or veteran, you haven't seen anything yet.

The secondary game option, Four Swords is an absolute must-play. Anyone who puts this cartridge away after completing A Link to the Past will be missing out on one of the best system link games ever created, and it's this mode that will set the watermark for what the GBA's game link support can pull off. Four Swords isn't a simple rehash of A Link to the Past's graphic engine in a multiplayer deathmatch, no sir. This is a completely separate game development that shares only the cartridge in which A Link to the Past sits. Four Swords occurs during the same time structure as the upcoming Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker for the GameCube, which explains the completely changed character sprite structure of Four Swords. In the game, players must rescue Zelda from the clutches of the evil wind sorceror Vaati. But the challenges ahead are impossible for a single adventurer; to assist Link in his quest to rescue the princess, fairies use the power of the Four Swords to duplicate the hero...four times the Link. Silly premise, I know, but all you have to know is that each player controls a different colored Link.

The Four Swords is essentially broken up into four different areas, each with its own network of dungeons. The first dungeon is an expansive tutorial area that explains the varying items and how they work in the other three different areas. The level design Four Swords varies between standard Zelda fare to absolutely brilliant use of cooperative gameplay mechanics; this isn't a simple Gauntlet clone. Game designers have worked in many of the ideas from past Zelda games, from triggering pressure switches to shoving statues and lifting boulders. But many elements must be done in unison with one, two, or three other Links. Massive boulders blocking the way, for example, require all Links to work together to lift and move off to the side. Some creatures can only be destroyed if two players work together -- one cool creature in particular must be pulled apart to eliminate, with a Link on either side yanking in opposite directions. There are several items in the game that must be utilized to get through, and players can only hold and utilize one item at a time; whatever item they were holding at the time they picked up a different item is dropped in place of the new item. Magnet Gloves can get players across chasms if they aim at a magnetic block...and they can even grab onto distant Links by latching onto their magnetic Shields, pulling them across the hole as well. And the Gnat Hat is an interesting addition, as players who wear the hat will shrink to the size of a bug (basically a couple of pixels tall on-screen) in order to pass through tiny tunnels or across bridges and platforms that a normal Link couldn't fit. The game's full of all sorts of objects that require solo as well as cooperative techniques to get through the extensive challenges. What's more, the game design is intelligent enough to only offer dungeon designs with the amount of players in the network in mind. So, even though the game allows for up to four players to cooperate and compete in the dungeons, the designers realized that this wouldn't always be the case; if only two or three players are in the current network, it will only put forth challenges that only two players need to cooperate...which means, no four-player puzzle elements will enter into play.
This mode is where most of the development time obviously went, because everything about it, from the graphics, sound, gameplay, and interface, are done superbly. This multiplayer mode even incorporates extras that are earned in A Link to the Past; if a special sword technique is earned in the main single-player adventure, it can be used by that player in Four Swords. And those that complete the entire Four Swords adventure can unlock original dungeons and mini-quests in A Link to the Past, unique to the GBA game. So, if the fantastic multiplayer gameplay isn't enough encouragement, the extra quests in the single player adventure should seal the deal.

The link support is near flawless; it keeps track of all four players in the chain no matter how far back or ahead of the pack they go, and it also allows for a decent number of enemies to appear on-screen at once. The action will slow down on occasion when rupees spill onto the screen in a large amount, but from a technical standpoint occasional slowdown in a four player chain during not-so-intense moments is perfectly acceptable. It's an amazingly fun multiplayer experience, even if it tries the patience of everyone in the network chain. Everyone will be yelling at each other from not working together, or accidentally knocking someone off the ledge, or stealing each other's rupees. Even though players will be working together to complete the dungeons, ultimately, they're working against each other to earn the most rupees to collect the level's medallions. And as chaotic as that sounds, this element is one of the many reasons that makes Four Swords such an awesome mode that should not be missed by anyone.

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is definitely one of, if not the finest games released on the GBA. While some Zelda fans might be a bit bummed that Nintendo didn't offer Game Boy Advance owners something new to sink their teeth into, they have to realize that the company did do exactly that. Yes, the main package is simply the same Super NES game repackaged for play on the Game Boy Advance, but in all honesty that's only half the package. And offering one of the greatest action adventures in portable form isn't exactly a downside, either.

Four Swords is Nintendo's way of giving gamers something completely new and different in the Zelda environment, and it's one hell of a good time in each play through. This mode is an adventure in itself; it just requires the effort of grabbing one, two, or three other friends to join in the quest. And that's the only real downside to this mode: trying to get a party together to take advantage of this thoroughly-designed experience. It is a slight shame that Nintendo didn't offer just a sliver of Four Swords as a single-cartridge multiplayer mode, even if it was just to offer a scaled-back demo version of the entire Four Swords adventure...but considering how good this entire package is, it won't be hard to find players with a copy of their own.

I don't own this game and i have never played it (though i might buy it) i just wanted to point out that in one reviw someone did not know anyone with the gam it doesn't solve your cable problem but you only need one game pack to play multi player on GBA (note this only applys when your using other GBAs no other GBs will work) ... 3-0 out of 5 stars 251.51 for a cd?
I think Suidoken is great game, i highly reccomend all their work, but unless they plan on delivering the cd via viking boat themselves, the price is a bit too steep.

I'll assume the price is a error, and this is my half-assed attempts at humor.

So, once it's fixed do yourself a favor and order it.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great game but.......
Suikoden 2 is a great game, and I'm glad I grabbed a copy way back with the guide, maybe I should sell my copy and take a tropical vacation. Seems that these rare games are developing into collectors items more than games now. If you really want to spend $100+ on a game your bordering on nuts, but buy suikoden part 1 cause its vital to fully enjoy this game. However this game is beautiful, deep, and captivating. I have played it thru several times, you can even load your original suikoden data if you gathered the 108 stars in that game to add storyline and events to this title. Greatest Rpg series ever a must for a true rpg fan/collector.

5-0 out of 5 stars New type of RPG
I ran across this game (...)right when it first came out, and I picked it up more as a fluke than for any other reason.I am glad I did.Graphically this game is in 2D, but it is done very well. Each person is easily recognizable, and there expressions come across quite clearly (with emotions appearing above the characters heads in little bubbles!).

As far as normal random battles goes, suikoden is fairly straight forward.6 people can join in fights, with a front line and a back line.Different people have different weapons that have different attacking abilities.Ie. weapons like bows can attack the enemies from the front and back row, staffs can attack only the front line of enemies, but they can be positioned in either your front or back row, and swords/axes can only hit the front line of the enemy, and only from the front line of your ranks.

One nice ability for later on is the option to choose 'let go'.If your party is crossing an area of the world map, or if you are re-exploring a dungeon from much earlier in the game, the option to 'run' is taken away, and the option 'let go' is placed there instead.Basically it is a means to escape the tedium of random battles that wouldn't provide enough experience of money to make the time of fighting it worthwhile.Plus it works 100% of the time. :)

The most interesting part of the game though is that fact that it incorporates more than just standard random battles, it also has full army battles that involve most of your fighting party members broken up into groups of 3.Each group has its own attack, defence, and special abilitys. Most of the time the battles are very enjoyable, however there are a few battles that rely on luck, so you just have to keep plugging away at them for a while until you finally manage to beat the enemy.

Also the game features a third battle system called duels, which are (just as the name emplys....) 1 on 1 duels. There aren't that many duels during the course of the game, and they are conducted in a rock paper scissors manner.

The best part of the game though is just playing through the story and becoming the hero of legend.Nothing is quite as satisfing as walking through your castle (which starts out run down and dilapidated and ends up quite spectacular) and talking to all the various people that have come to live there because of their firm (and very vocalized) belief that YOU are the one person capable of being a hero.

Suikoden may have a funny name, but it is a game that you would be a fool to bypass.

5-0 out of 5 stars MUST PLAY
Betrayal between a country and its armed forces. loytalty between two friends, cant overcome ones loyalty to his country. This is Suikoden II. One of the all time great playstation games. the story line is basic just as the first one is. but there is more to do here in the land of highlands than in the scarlet moon empire. the castle really takes form and you can have cook offs and also fish with yam koo and tai ho (yep they are back). with many characters from the first suikoden included you will have hours of fun in this game. also yuber makes another mysterious appearance in another installment. this is a must play and its worth the $100 dollars you are going to spend to get it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Final Fantasy???Suikoden!!!
I have to count myself as one of the skeptics when it came to an RPG with 108+ characters. And I definitely never thought an RPG series could ever hold ranks with Final Fantasy. But the moment I finished the first Suikoden I was a believer that there could actually be an RPG that surpasses Final Fantasy--at least in some aspects.

Okay, so the graphics are 2D, but it was back in the PS1 days. But the graphics are NOT what makes this game so amazing--It's the story. The STORY, because it's worth repeating.

The Story (Repeated for the Third time) deals with familiar themes of family, friendship, loyalty, etc...But it's the level in which they are handled, and the skill at which they are portrayed that makes this game really special.Who can forget the final scene, the duel between the Hero and Jowy.I don't even want to say much more because I'll ruin it for those who haven't played it.

You just won't get the opportunity to play another game like this, and for those who haven't bought this title already, good luck. It's expensive, because it's EXTREMELY rare.If I didn't own it already, I would gladly pay the $99 asking price though, because it's the story you will want to experience OVER and OVER and OVER again. It takes what I LOVE about the first Suikoden and brings it all to something even better in Suikoden II.

Oh, and this is worth mentioning. The whole Luca Blight Battle Sequence had to be my most favorite RPG moment in both story, scene progression, and battle play.It was SO AWESOME!Just remember to level up good before it and use the power of the "Tank" characters.

I'm just a really big fan of this series (can you tell?) and I could go on all day about how good this game is, and how it's worth playing, but I won't.I'll leave it up to you.But in my opinion, it's worth the money, BUY IT NOW!That is, of course if you can open your mind to 2D graphics, and throw away your old Final Fantasy ways (The Magic System is Totally different--No Lit3 or Cure4's here).(LoL) ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Should be Crash City not Sim City
I bought this game for my son and I am now spending many minutes a day rebooting his MAC computer. The game locks up the entire system and requires a hard reboot each time. If this was an automobile from GM of Ford the roads would be littered with wrecked cars. Don't waste you money.

2-0 out of 5 stars Great game, but you need a patch to fix a performance issue
I played all the previous versions of Sim City back in my bad oldWindows days and really enjoy the game. But for some reason this version will paralyze even a fast Mac.I'm running this on an iMac 1.8GHz G5 with 1GB of memory, and after about 10 minutes of play I have to quit and restart the game because the response becomes impossibly slow.Very frustrating.Haven't tried the updater yet, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

UPDATE (Apr 05): Installed the updater and it appears to have fixed the slow response problem.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very Good...if it has update!
I have noticed many people have said just how bad Sim City 4 is. The thing to solve these problems is to get the updater It will make Sim City much better!

5-0 out of 5 stars Graphics not a problem...if you fix them!
Lots of these reviews complain about the graphics on this Mac version.I had the same problems too - unexpected crashes and VERY slow game performance, on a pretty new G5 tower.

Doing two things will fix these issues. In the game's video/display options panel, switch off the page scrolling, and reduce the graphic detail. That's all it took to have this game running great. The manual should cover these quirks but it doesn't.

One final tip - learn the keyboard commands (found on the back of the manual) as it will speed up gameplay hugely, and totally compensates for no scrolling.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not worth it!
Ok so i was a fan of Sim City 2000 which I found a demo of on a CD I didnt know i had. So I put it in and played Sim City 2000...and played and played and so on so I soon got the full thing. I became addicted to it. When Sim City 4 came out, i wanted it so much but I only had a mac. When it came out I bought like the first day! When I played I was sooooo dissapointed. nothing seemed to work right, the airplanes shadows became square and the streams on the airplanes was
