Good when your bored.
If your looking for good action, cutting edge graphics, and or a surreal sound experience ... keep looking.

But if your looking for an easy game to waste some time, and like the "outdoors man" spoof concept.Then the various "Avenger" games are a good place to start.Once figured out the K.I.S.S. style controls (keep it simple stupid) make for a rapid learning curve.I drop this one, or Deer 1 or 2, in when I'm bored and not in the mood to dig into a long play game.

The one draw back to the "Avenger" games is the obvious, and generally simple patterns.Although "Deer 2" did a markedly better job of upping the difficulty.

The only real challenge to this game is trying to beat your times and weights.

good for awhile
At the beginning, this game is very fun and exciting.The Bass's wisecracks and baits used to catch the fisherman are hilarious.After awhile you learn which baits to use for every different kind of fisherman and soon enough you have caught all the different "species."The problem with this is once you match the bait and fisherman it gets really easy to catch them which makes the game extremely boring.

Good 1st Fishing game
This is an interesting twist from the creators of Deer Avenger. Normally I don't care for fishing games but I thought what's the harm in trying something new. It is so cool! Funny dialogue, hysterical lures to get the fisherman in. Kinda hard the first couple of times since I have never played a fishing game before but gets much easier as you learn the ropes. PGA Championship Review
Ilove the play.I use a track ball rather than a mouse and find the gaming a lot of fun and pretty accurate.The fact that there are so many courses to choose from eliminates any boredom.I have used the 3 step system on other golf games and find them very stiff.It's too bad that you have discontinued this.I looked for a long time before I found it gathering dust on a shelve.

Great play but Course Architect is awful
The play style in this game is wonderful utilizing a new concept in the swing called TrueSwing.TrueSwing uses the mouse to make a complete stroke instead of doing the old three click.To make a stroke you move the mouse back and then forward.Line of movement and speed determines ball flight and distance which really simulates a golf swing.The detail is beautiful, and there are quite a few golf courses out there to download.

The really bad part is that the Course Architect is a horrible tool for designing golf courses.Initially you cannot put holes over water or make holes to your liking (say a 100yd par 3), with the Course Wizard. There are ways around this but the principles are difficult to master and very tedious.I miss the old design program of Jack Nicklaus Golden Bear which allowed you to freely "paint" a course without limits, and I still think the design style of that old program were leagues ahead of this one.If you enjoy sitting there and making constant design adjustments due to what I see as a flaw in the program design, then this program is for you.If you want to be able to architect a course from scratch without worrying about whether your "water shape" overlaps your "fairway shape" then look elsewhere.

Stunning
Trophy Hunting is by far the most involving game, of this type, on the market!I couldn't believe how pretty everything was... I mean, we're talking about a hunting game, right? Wow!The worlds are HUGE and thevaried animal species makes for a lot of exciting exploration.I don'teven need to find any wild life sometimes.I just enjoy walking throughthese 'real' locations and marvel at the fog and rain and other forms ofenvironmental tie-ins.When I did finally locate an elk, I was shocked tofind that I was out of breath and that I was being quiet (in front of mycomputer) so I wouldn't scare the animal away.Silly, huh?Well, that'swhat I would have thought too had I not played this goofy game.I amimpressed.With a hunting game.Try it and see; you'll know what what I'mtalking about when you get it.This is definately a keeper:)(...and I'mnot even a hunter, I'm a school teacher)

not very easy to use
I found it annoying having to waste ten minutes walking to the opposite end of the area to find a deer. Deerhunter allows you to just click and drag yourself to wherever. Also, the maps do not show the location of the bridges so, if you shoot an animal and it runs across the river(which the hunter cannot) you have to potentially go all the way across the game to find the bridge, cross it, go all the way back, and bag your claim,while the other animals have conveniently made their way to the opposite side again....

I found F&S BGTH a really good game to play. I especially enjoyedhunting fro elk and Bear because it provides a real challenge.Grapics arepretty good in this game and sound effects are great.I would recommend thisgame to all keen hunters and game players alike.One of the best huntinggames on the market.

A funny parody of the hit game show
This is probably one of the better (if not insanely dumb) parodies I've played.The game has the irreverence of "You Don't Know Jack" and plays on everyone's secret wish to beat the *#%$( out of those people who win the millions on TV.The trivia is challenging the further you get.Note, however, it tends to crash in Windows XP.

This game is an insult to your intelligence.I played once and put it away for good.Worst game I've ever played.

Worse than bad
Although you may be tempted to pick this up as a gag gift for a "Millionaire" or Regis fan, don't!The cartoonish characters are annoying, but the whole "beat up a millionaire" concept isn't even funny.The only thing you'll want to beat up is yourself for buying this game.

Trains
I have only played the "Trains" as I bought this item specifically for the Train portion.I found it absolutely delightful.There are layouts to build, deliveries to make, logic puzzles, matching games... all different kinds of things.My 3 year old loves to watch, my 5 year old can play most of the simpler games without help, and there are longer, more complicated challenges to keep me interested.Really, this is the first train game my 5 year old has been able to play unassisted, so from that aspect alone, it's been a big hit!(We're a train family, so we've tried a variety of different train software games.) ... It's a great gameif you don't have windows XP!
My daughter and I love this game but my only problem with it is that it won't work that well on my computer because I have windows XP and everytime it freezes and I have problems playing it!They said that there is nothing I could do about! I wish they made a fishing game that would work on windows XP but they don't! My daughter and I are very upset! Other then that it is a great game if you don't have windows XP!!

Don't buy
Thius game is very unrealistic. If you are a serious racing simulation fan, it is a waste of your money!
Graphics are ok, control is awful, car response is unrealistic. Sick with Grand Prix III.

Not quite what it appears...
Unfortunately, this game does not offer "Total Immersion", or what the box says.

First off, I'm still trying to figure out how to get 24 cars on the track at the same time (I've only managed 18), perhaps that is something I need to unlock.

To me, "immersion" indicates simulation.Why?It means something that makes you feel like you are actually there, to immerse yourself into the virtual world.

There are really no crashes, no car damage (That i've managed to find yet????), and the graphics really aren't really all that pretty compared to some other games.

I suppose if you are a fan of Sports Car GT, or Test Drive Lemans/24 Hours of Lemans, then this game should fit the next step up in gaming.

But if you are like me, and in desperate want of an actual immersed racing experience, walk away... quickly.

So So for a Real Gamer
This WWI era plane sim is unbelivibly hard to control.The planes don't have rear gunners.Also, the game gets repeditive.On the good side it has good graphics for its time and realistic planes and iterface.Overall 3 Stars.

Not bad, but needs improvements
This game is a good flight combat sim, but there are a few things thatcould be changed.First of all, it is very difficult to control the planeif you do not have a joystick.Second, it is also hard to get the enemyinto view in order to shoot him down.Overall, i thought this game to bemore frustrating than fun, and it also does not incorporate with the restof the Red Baron series.It tells you nothing of how to control the planewhich is difficult in the 1st place.Being a long time player of Red Barongames, my personal favorite is "Hunt for the Red Baron".You canfind it at www.fiendishgames.com and it is VERY VERY fun.Curse you RedBaron, however, is not at all worth the money and I do not recommend anyoneto waste their cash on it.Save yourself the frustration!Do not buy thisgame!

Great Game
PGA Championship Golf is a great game. It has wonderful graphics and many courses. Many other golf games only have two or three courses, but PGA has about 8 (not exactly sure). This makes the game countinue to beinteresting, even after months. It works good on slow computers, the redrawtime on a P166 is 2 seconds; pretty quick. You can create players, anddetail them down to their shoe color and style. There is an included set of"Tour Players" you can play a tournament with, which is nice forsome competition.The biggest plus is the course designer. It comesincluded, and is very easy to use. It is very user friendly, and alsodetailed. You can even put sounds onto your course, and the radius in whichthe players will hear it. PGA is a great, fun golf game. It is beautiful ina graphics standpoint, and fun to play. It may be the best golf game on themarket, even better than Links LS 2000. Enjoy this wonderful game!:)

Great golf game
I have been playing Links for years, and tried this title mostly for the course designer.To my surprise, the game is loads of fun. It has more of a 3D feel than links as far as the graphics go.The course designer isreally cool. It takes a lot of time, but there is nothing like playing yourlocal courses on the computer in the middle of winter whenthere is snowon the ground.My only complaint is aiming your shot is a little moredifficult than Links.

Excellent Golf Sim
This is a very good golf simulation. The graphics are great, even on a PC without 3d cards.You have different options for play, Tri-Click or Trueswing. The Trueswing has 2 options, horizontal or vertical (Verticalyou pull back and move forward the mouse while horizontal you move left toright) Tri-Click is a bar that move up and down (Power bar) and you clickwhere it reaches your desired power. I prefer trueswing because i think itsmore realistic. The are 7 courses with game but you can download new onesfrom the internet. Also a course architect which lets you make your owncourse. There are 3 types of play, recreation, practice and tournaments. Intournaments you can play individually or in team play.
